Are the Steelers vulnerable for their first loss of the season when they host Baltimore to close out the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate? Pittsburgh has rattled off 10 wins in a row, but also lost 26-23 to the Ravens at home last year.
If the Ravens are to step up on the national stage Thursday, they’ll have to do it a bit shorthanded as the running back room has been hit by COVID contact this week. Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins are set to miss this meeting.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens have their backs against the wall on Thursday, having a short turnaround after a physical 30-24 OT loss to the Titans last week. Baltimore has now lost 3 of the last 4, including a 28-24 defeat to Pittsburgh in week 8.
Baltimore gained 265 yards on the ground in the first meeting against Pittsburgh, but still lost. The Ravens had 2 fumbles, and Lamar Jackson threw two INTs otherwise John Harbaugh’s squad probably would’ve pulled out the win.

While Baltimore was arguably the better team in the first game against the Steelers, the loss of Dobbins (who had 113 yards the first game) and Ingram hurts. Not only that, TE Mark Andrews has hit the injury report with a thigh injury.
Derrick Henry ran for 133 yards vs. the Ravens defense last week, a good chunk of that coming on a 29-yard run to win the game in OT. How will the Pittsburgh offense attack Thursday night’s meeting?
Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh keeps finding a way in running their record to 10-0 on the year. Both the Steelers and Ravens have short weeks, but Baltimore battled with Tennessee on Sunday while Pittsburgh breezed to a 27-3 win in Jacksonville.
It’s been since the November 1st meeting with Baltimore that Pittsburgh has really had a challenge. Besides the Jaguars win, Mike Tomlin’s team has rolled to a 24-19 win over Dallas and a 36-10 victory over the Bengals the last three weeks.
Pittsburgh had their share of struggles in the week 8 win in Baltimore, albeit as +4 underdogs. Ben Roethlisberger had just 182 yards passing the first meeting and the Steelers only gained 48 yards on the ground.
The Steelers offense should be better at home on Thursday, but even if not Pittsburgh has a great defense to fall back on. Pittsburgh ranks 3rd vs. the pass, 7th vs. the run, and #1 in points allowed.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Under 45
Pittsburgh looks like a great play in this one with Baltimore having to play on a short week after a tough contest with Tennessee. The Ravens are ravaged by COVID protocols as well, which is what makes this game a red flag play.
The Steelers would be a confident pick as 7 or 8 point favorites, and the public is going to be hammering the league’s only undefeated team on Thanksgiving night. The total is the way to play this one.
