4* Free Week 5 NFL Betting Prediction: Pittsburgh +4.5
The line opened at the Ravens -1.
Despite being favored by 4.5 vs. the Steelers, I’m not completly buying what the Ravens are selling. The public will be heavy on Baltimore which has me wanting to throw my betting action behind Tomlin’s Steelers.
Baltimore are 1-5 SU in their last 6 games against Pittsburgh, and the Steelers are 6-2 ATS in their L8, and are 6-2 SU in their L8 as well.
Our recommendation is to take the Steelers +4.5.
This is the week the Steelers defense will rise to the occasion, and I have confidence in Tomlin’s game strategy. Judging from his track record, it’s unlikely the Steelers will end up with a losing record.
Expect this game to be a closely contested one.
Our model sees the over/under line for this matchup being to low and like the outlook of this game surpassing 38.5 points. Our betting model spit out this game finishing with a combined 41 points.
Like most smashmouth AFC North games the public will be on the UNDER.
