The Ravens and Raiders do battle in week five.
Baltimore is coming off a blowout home loss at home against the Steelers 26-9 and scored under 10 points for the second week in a row.
Oakland has lost their last two games, both losses on the road. Their most recent loss coming against the Broncos, 16-10.
The last time the Ravens and Raiders played, the game was a one point win for the Raiders in Baltimore, 28-27. Baltimore leads the all-time series, 7-3.
The Ravens have looked terrible on offense the past two weeks. After beating the Bengals in week one, and Browns in week two, the Ravens have not scored more than 10 points on offense the past two games.
The Ravens were destroyed in London by the Jacksonville two weeks ago, and the offense only had 186 yards for the game.
In last Sunday’s loss to the Steelers at home, the offense was better (288 total yards), but still struggled to score points. The Ravens have been outscored 70-16 over the last two weeks.
Quarterback, Joe Flacco needs to be better if the Ravens want a win this week. He was 31 of 49 for 235 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He had an 18.7 QBR last week against the Steelers.
Flacco has a QBR of 26.4 this season. He has not had a QBR better than 74 this year and had a passer rating of 0.5 two weeks ago against Jacksonville. Not good for the Ravens.
The Ravens defense has given up 791 yards of total offense the last two weeks. The unit allowed 381 of those yards in their home loss against the Steelers. The run defense has been a lot of the problem.
In their last two games, the Ravens have defended the pass well, but have been killed on the ground, giving up 339 rushing yards combined in the losses.
If the Ravens defense can’t get things together this week, there could be some chatter about coach Harbaugh’s job. They will have to improve on both sides of the ball, if they want to stay in this game.
The Raiders have struggled since week two. Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland offense have not been dancing much since then. Especially Lynch. He has rushed for 30 yards and no touchdowns over the last two games.
To make things worse, Derek Carr was injured last week against the Broncos. He was solid before getting hurt. Carr was 10 of 18 for 148 yards and one touchdown before EJ Manuel came in the game against the Broncos.
The team says Carr has back spasms, but could be out for this weeks game at home. EJ Manuel may be the starter against the Ravens.
Manuel was 11 for 17 for 107 yards in his time against the Broncos, but threw a game ending pick for the loss at Mile High last week. If Manuel starts, he could be in for a big day against the Ravens.
Defensively, Oakland has not been themselves, especially against the run. Khalil Mack and company have given up over 100 plus yards rushing in three straight weeks.
Look for the Raiders defense to be aggressive against a soft Ravens offensive line. Flacco should be under pressure a lot in this one.

NFL Free Week 5 Score Prediction: Raiders 21 – Ravens 13
Flacco doesn’t look the same, and neither does the Ravens defense.
Oakland has been struggling lately, and might be without Derek Carr. That won’t matter. With or without Carr, the Raiders should get the job done at home against the struggling Ravens. Take the Raiders at home.
