As road underdogs, I like the value of taking the Ravens. The betting line shifted half a point in favor of the Bengals following Week 1. (Scratching my head)
Last season, the two teams squared off twice, each claiming victory in one head-to-head matchup, and they both had an even record against the spread as well.
My belief is that the Ravens currently hold the upper hand, even in the wake of Dobbins’ injury. I’m fairly confident that Andrews will return to action, and his presence, combined with Edwards moving in, should provide ample support for the Ravens to cover the spread in this game.
Right now, the Ravens are at +3, and I’ll be locking them in at this number while I can.
In stark contrast, the Bengals’ offense is experiencing some struggles. Although they may eventually iron out their issues, their Week 1 performance was underwhelming, amassing just 82 passing yards and 75 rushing yards.
It’s worth noting that the Baltimore defense showcased its prowess in Week 1 by preventing their opponents from scoring a single touchdown. This solid defensive performance could very well prove to be a pivotal factor Sunday.
Given that the over/under line for this matchup is at 46.5, I’m taking the under.
