Dave B’s Fantasy 6 RB Rankings – DFS
Week 6 of the NFL season is upon us – the running back position has been the difference for many Fantasy squads so far this season.
But for those of you that don’t own Devonta Freeman or Todd Gurley, the position has been a tad tough to figure out! That said there are some quality matchups for your Running Back studs this week – ones that should carry you to the “W”.

So which Studs are locks for a big week? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Fantasy Running Back plays for Week 6.
1. Adrian Peterson, Vikings
vs. KC Chiefs
AP gets a prime matchup against a poor defense this week – after seven days of rest which should have Chiefs fans shaking in their boots.
Add in the fact that ALL of the wind has been taken out of KC’s sails and this has all the makings of a monster game for Peterson. He has gone over 125 yards in both his home starts this year and should be able to do so again.

As one of the few true centerpieces any offense I like Peterson to add 2 TDs to his 125 yards and to end the week as the #1 RB option. He’s as safe as they come folks and as dangerous too!
2. Devonta Freeman, Falcons
vs. NO Saints
This year’s Fantasy MVP so far is in line for yet another huge game against a Saints defense that allowed the Eagles 39 points last week – not that you need anything more to be excited about Freeman this week. Freeman now has eight TDs on the season and has gone over 140 yards in each of his last four games – amazing.
If Devonta gets 25 touches (and he should), another 140 combined yards and 1-2 TDs is likely on Thursday night. Ride Freeman while he’s hot – scorching Hot!
3. Arian Foster, Texans
vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars have been pretty bad against the run so far this season and Foster looks like he is back in form as we head into Week 6. Be excited Foster owners – be very excited! Alfred Blue is apparently suffering from a toe injury meaning that competition for touches in a game that the Texans SHOULD control will be minimal.
[dfads params=’groups=228&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Foster is good for 110 combined yards this week – six catches make him even more valuable. Expect a TD as well this week – he will likely be on the field for all three downs all game long.
4. Le’Veon Bell, Steelers
vs. Arizona Cardinals
Bell at #4? Ya – it’s more of a reflection of the Cardinals defense than Bell’s studliness. Bell is the game’s best back who will get his touches for sure. He has gained over 120 combined yards in every game he’s played so far – don’t expect anything different this week.
Bell is an absolute beauty and is in line for yet another huge week.
5. Matt Forte, Bears
vs. Detroit Lions
The Lions have given up on the year already – their defense has been absolutely awful all season long. Enter Matt Forte and the Bears who will be confident after their first win of the year last week. Even though he has failed to hit 100 yards rushing since Week 1 his pass catching ability makes him a top 5 option this week.

He should get another 6-8 grabs this week for 50 yards while adding 75 or so yards on the ground and a TD. Forte is automatic right now – an easy top 5 option from week to week.
