Dave B’s Fantasy 5 QB Rankings – DFS
Week 1 of the Fantasy Football season is in the books – there was some superb quarterback play that propelled many reams to victory this past week. If you started Tom Brady and Tony Romo – congratulations.

There are some other QB matchups in Week 2 that could eclipse the numbers seen in the first week of the season – some juicy ones for sure.
So which QBs should start for your team this week? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Fantasy QB plays for Week 2.
1. Drew Brees – New Orleans Saints
vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If anyone saw what Marcus Mariota did to the Bucs last week they will be salivating at Drew Brees’s matchup this week. Brees arrives off a 355 yard, 1 TD effort and now gets a crack at one of the worst secondaries in the game – on home field!

Brees passed for 371 yards and two scores when the Bucs visited in 2014 – my guess is that he comes close to equaling those numbers this week with a chance to eclipse them. Brees is the #1 matchup among QBs in Week 2 thanks to the Bucs!
2. Andrew Luck – Indianapolis Colts
vs. NY Jets
The Colts laid an egg last week against a good defense and will be a motivated bunch to get their first “W” of the year. Andrew Luck was part of the problem last week completing 26 of 49 passes for 243 yards and 2 TD. Although those aren’t bad numbers they are far from what Luck is capable of. The Jets have a good secondary and the Colts will be without TY Hilton but my guess is that Luck is a Fantasy star this week.
I’m expecting 300 yards and 3 scores on Monday night!
The addition of Rex Ryan swings the pendulum in New York’s favor but I think Luck rises to the occasion on National TV and does what he does best – dominate!

3. Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers
vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Hawks looked vulnerable on defense without Kam Chancellor – that’s for sure.
They gave up 297 yards passing to Nick Foles in Week 1. Rodgers threw for only 189 yards in Week 1 but was able to make the most of those yards – he had 3 TDs along the way. Aaron will be up for this game against their NFC rival and catches them at precisely the right time – when they are void of their signal-caller Chancellor.
I like Rodgers to go for 275 yards and at least 2 scores and to add another 30 yards and a potential score on the ground.
4. Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons
vs. NY Giants
Ryan went for 298 yards, 2 TDs and 2 Ints against the Eagles on Monday night and gets another burnable secondary in Week 2 in the form of the Giants who let Tony Rome throw it all over the park despite missing Dez Bryant.
It should be a shootout Sunday which helps Ryan’s cause. Let’s face it, anytime you have Julio Jones catching passes, the QB will be a good play. Against New York makes Ryan even more enticing!
5. Tony Romo – Dallas Cowboys
vs. Philadelphia Eagles
I know, I know – Dez Bryant is a huge cog in the offense of the team and he won’t be there Sunday. But my guess is that Dallas will have to do some throwing in order to keep up in this one leading to big numbers for Romo.

He went for 356 yards and 3 TDs in Week 1 largely without Bryant. Romo looked terrific in Week 1 – I expect him to be the sole reason this game is close Sunday. Another 300 yards and 2TDs is a somewhat conservative prediction.
