11-27-22 | Raiders v. Seahawks UNDER 48 | Top | 40-34 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 50 m | Show |
There was an underrated aspect to what the Seattle Seahawks accomplished through their first 10 games and their surprising surge to the top of the NFC West. They did most of it away from home and flew plenty of miles in the process - most recently to Germany, where they lost to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before their bye week. That changes beginning Sunday, when the Seahawks (6-4) return to Lumen Field and host the Las Vegas Raiders. Seattle, which is tied with San Francisco atop the NFC West, plays five of its final seven games at home and only has one more game outside the Pacific time zone. "I'm tired of traveling. I'm tired of being on planes, leaving on Friday or Saturday," wide receiver DK Metcalf said. "I'm just happy to be back in front of the 12s (Seattle's fans) for five more games. I know they are excited to have us back." And Seattle's opponents during this upcoming stretch look less daunting than they did when the season began. The Seahawks' next three games are against teams with three wins apiece: the Raiders, the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina. |

11-27-22 | Chargers v. Cardinals UNDER 48.5 | Top | 25-24 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 47 m | Show |
Say what you want about the Los Angeles Chargers - at least they're interesting. They had four straight games earlier in the season during which they trailed by double digits at the end of the first quarter and won three of them. They've led at the end of the first quarter the last two weeks and lost. Los Angeles is 1-3 this season when leading at the end of the first quarter, but 3-1 when trailing. It makes sense that after all those ups and downs, the Chargers are stuck with a 5-5 record when they travel to face the Arizona Cardinals (4-7) on Sunday. The Chargers are coming off a tough 30-27 loss to the Chiefs last Sunday. Kansas City scored a touchdown with 31 seconds left to rally for the win. "What happened last week and the week before that, it's part of the league," Chargers coach Brandon Staley said. "You're going to have stretches like that where you have really tough ones that you feel like you are right there and you don't make them. |
|||||||
11-27-22 | Raiders +3.5 v. Seahawks | Top | 40-34 | Win | 100 | 6 h 32 m | Show |
Las Vegas (3-7) snapped a three-game skid with last week's overtime win at Denver and in the process gave the Seahawks a boost. Every Denver loss improves Seattle's draft position as owners of the Broncos' first-round pick next season. (Denver got Russell Wilson out of that deal, which isn't looking so great for the Broncos.) The Raiders have lost five road games this season, four by one score. "We don't know this team very well, so our team is hard at work in terms of learning the personnel, the scheme, the challenges they present in all three phases," Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said. "And then obviously, going out there and playing in Seattle, it's always a different atmosphere. A very challenging place to play. So, a lot of hard work ahead of us here." |

11-27-22 | Bears +6 v. Jets | Top | 10-31 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 17 m | Show |
Mike White's phone rang Tuesday and it was Robert Saleh delivering some big news. The New York Jets coach was making a change at quarterback with Zach Wilson out and White tapped to start Sunday at home against the Chicago Bears. "It lasted all of 30 seconds," Saleh said of the conversation. "I said, `Hi, Mike, how are you doing?' He said, `Good.' I said, `You ready to roll, man?' He said, `Yep,' and I said, `All right, I'll see ya tomorrow.'" And just like that, the biggest decision so far of the playoff-hungry Jets' season was sealed. "Initially, just excited," White said of his reaction. "It's just what every player in this locker room wants is a chance to compete and prove themselves. But more importantly, it's just a chance to be a good teammate and help the team and worry about the team first." The Jets' decision to bench the underachieving Wilson was framed by Saleh as a mental and physical "reset" for the second-year quarterback. New York is also in the thick of the AFC playoff hunt at 6-4, and would be in the postseason right now after New England's loss Thursday night to Minnesota. So this game against the Bears (3-8), who have lost four straight and six of seven, could serve as an opportunity for the Jets to get right after a 10-3 loss at New England last Sunday. But it won't be the spicy quarterback matchup most were expecting when the schedule was announced in May with Wilson, the No. 2 pick last year, taking on the Bears' Justin Fields, who went nine selections later. |

11-27-22 | Bengals v. Titans UNDER 43 | Top | 20-16 | Win | 100 | 3 h 48 m | Show |
Revenge is not on the menu, at least not for the Titans even with Cincinnati visiting Music City for the first time since the Bengals ended Tennessee's run as the AFC's No. 1 seed last January. Oh, Tennessee fans might revel in the opportunity for a little payback for the Super Bowl berth they wanted so badly. With so much roster changeover, these Titans insist this season's playoff chase has their attention Sunday - not their divisional loss. "More than half of our team did not even play in that game," Titans coach Mike Vrabel said of a roster that has played 25 different players on defense alone this season. These teams have more in common than that playoff game with both starting this season 0-2 before rebounding. Tennessee (7-3) has won seven of eight, including a 27-17 win at Green Bay on Nov. 17, giving the banged-up Titans a much-needed long weekend off. Cincinnati (6-4) has won four of five, including a 37-30 win at Pittsburgh last weekend for the defending AFC North champs' first division win this season. The Titans sit atop the AFC South with a nice lead, chasing their third straight division title. They rallied with Derrick Henry leading the NFL in rushing again and a defense that has been among the league's stingiest since being blown out in Week 2 in Buffalo. |

11-26-22 | Jazz +7.5 v. Suns | Top | 112-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
The Utah Jazz snapped a three-game losing streak eight days ago when they edged the Suns in Salt Lake City. The Jazz, losers of six of their past eight games, will hope for the same positive result Saturday night in Phoenix as they find themselves in the midst of another three-game streak. This much is true: Utah will need to shoot a lot better to beat the Suns than it did while losing at Golden State 129-118 on Friday night, following losses to Detroit and the Los Angeles Clippers. Against the Warriors, the Jazz only made 11 of 45 3-pointers. "For the most part, I felt we played the way we wanted to play," Jazz coach Will Hardy said. "When you shoot 25 percent from 3, it puts a lot of pressure on you." Golden State jumped to a 37-23 lead in the first quarter, but the Jazz overcame the early deficit. Sustaining that momentum proved too difficult, however. Utah briefly took a one-point lead in the third quarter, but Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and company made the visitors pay for their off-night from 3-point range. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Jazz v. Suns UNDER 233 | Top | 112-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 6 m | Show |
Phoenix beat Detroit 108-102 on Friday night despite shooting 24.1 percent beyond the arc. The Suns shot 48.3 percent overall, with Deandre Ayton leading the way by hitting 11 of 13 shots en route to 28 points. "Although we didn't make the shots we wanted, the defensive intensity was still there," Ayton said. "That is what really put us in position to win the game." Ayton also grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots. He had a key putback bucket with 1:34 remaining vs. the Pistons to increase Phoenix's lead to five. "He did a real good job on screens tonight, and it opened him up for baskets," teammate Cameron Payne said. "Sometimes, that's how it goes. You sacrifice your body and then you're the one who gets the reward." Both teams will be without their veteran starting point guard. Chris Paul has been out seven games with a sore right heel, while the Jazz have struggled with Mike Conley (knee) sidelined during their latest losing streak. Phoenix has replaced Utah atop the Western Conference standings since the two teams last met. |

11-26-22 | Stars v. Avalanche -155 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 35 m | Show |
A break early Friday morning gave the Colorado Avalanche, well, a break. The Avalanche were prepared to play the Predators in Nashville on Friday afternoon before a water main break at Bridgestone Arena forced the game to be postponed to a later date. The NHL also postponed the Predators' game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday. So instead of hosting the Dallas Stars in Denver on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back set, the Avalanche flew home and had a day off while Dallas rallied to force overtime before dropping a 5-4 decision to the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night. The Stars are on a seven-game point streak (4-0-3) despite the loss. The unexpected day off gave Colorado a chance to heal a little. Mikko Rantanen took a stick to the face during a 4-3 loss to Vancouver on Wednesday night, and Evan Rodrigues left the game with a lower-body injury and didn't play after the first intermission. Coach Jared Bednar said Thursday that Rodrigues was day-to-day but there were indications he might not miss much time. The team assigned Anton Blidh and Sampo Ranta to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League. The downside of getting an extra day off is the Avalanche had more time to think about squandering a game to Vancouver. Colorado gave up two goals in the third period to lose in regulation and end a brief three-game winning streak. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Lakers v. Spurs +3 | Top | 143-138 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 15 m | Show |
The Los Angeles Lakers will look to sweep a two-games-in-two-night series against the reeling San Antonio Spurs when the teams square off Saturday night in the Alamo City. It will be the third game between the teams over a seven-day stretch, with Los Angeles capturing the first two. The Lakers, buoyed by the continued dominating play of Anthony Davis and the return of LeBron James, did enough to beat San Antonio 105-94 on Friday in the first game of the two-game set. It was the Lakers' first road win of the year after six losses. Davis had 25 points and 15 rebounds in Friday's win, scoring 11 points in the fourth quarter after the Spurs clawed their way back into the game with a rousing third period. James was a force after being out with an adductor strain since Nov. 9, scoring 21 points. He also had nine of the Lakers' 21 turnovers. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Thunder v. Rockets OVER 231 | Top | 105-118 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Houston coach Stephen Silas has spoken often about the need for the Rockets to be rewarded for their effort, to glean something tangible from spirited showings beyond another close defeat. The Rockets finally secured a much-needed victory on Friday, outlasting the visiting Atlanta Hawks 128-122 by surrendering only 18 points in the fourth quarter while producing a plus-31 rebounding margin -- including 22 offensive boards that yielded 37 second-chance points. After surveying the celebratory mood in the locker room following a win that snapped a four-game homecourt losing skid, Silas recognized that the moment was short-lived at best. "They obviously were excited, and I was happy for them," Silas said. "And then they said we've got another one tomorrow. That's the beauty of the NBA. You've got another one tomorrow." The Rockets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back for both. The Thunder topped the Chicago Bulls 123-119 in overtime on Friday. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Southern Miss v. UL-Monroe UNDER 51 | Top | 20-10 | Win | 100 | 6 h 12 m | Show |
Under is 13-5 in Golden Eagles' last 18 road games, while the Under is 7-1 in Warhawks' last 8 games following an ATS loss and 5-0 in Warhawks' last 5 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Iowa State +10 v. TCU | Top | 14-62 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 18 m | Show |
No. 4 TCU looks to keep its undefeated campaign intact and take its next step toward a berth in the College Football Playoff when it hosts struggling Iowa State on Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas. The Horned Frogs (11-0, 8-0 Big 12) have already clinched a spot in the league championship game on Dec. 3 in Arlington, Texas, where they will play either No. 12 Kansas State or No. 23 Texas. And while the Big 12 title will be up for grabs in that game, TCU has a bigger goal -- beating Iowa State to remain in the top four of the CFP rankings. How TCU got to this point without a loss is a story in itself, especially in its most recent game. That's when the Horned Frogs needed a fire-drill, last-second field goal from Griffin Kell to beat Baylor 29-28 on the road last Saturday to stay unbeaten. TCU scored the game's final nine points over the last 2:07. Max Duggan completed 24 of 35 passes for 327 yards while leading TCU in rushing with 50 yards on eight carries, including a 7-yard touchdown. Taye Barber had a team-best five receptions for 108 yards, his second 100-yard game of the season and the fourth of his career. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Iowa State v. TCU UNDER 46.5 | Top | 14-62 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 16 m | Show |
The Cyclones (4-7, 1-7 Big 12) head to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to finish their season. A 14-10 loss to Texas Tech last Saturday assured that Iowa State would not play in a bowl game for the first time since 2016. The loss was the second straight for the Cyclones, who fell to the cellar in the conference standings. Iowa State has just one win -- over West Virginia -- since September. Six of its seven defeats have come by seven points or fewer. Hunter Dekkers led the Cyclones with 294 yards passing in the loss to Texas Tech, with 101 of those going to Xavier Hutchinson. Iowa State outgained Texas Tech 422-246 in total yards and possessed the ball for more than 36 minutes but also missed a field goal and had another one blocked. Iowa State coach Matt Campbell said the fact that his team won't play in a bowl "tears him apart." |

11-26-22 | South Alabama v. Towson UNDER 132.5 | Top | 60-62 | Win | 100 | 3 h 13 m | Show |
Under is 6-1 in the Tigers' last 7 neutral site games and 6-2 in the Tigers' last 8 overall. The Under is 11-5 in Jaguars' last 16 overall. |

11-26-22 | Akron v. Northern Illinois UNDER 53.5 | Top | 44-12 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 50 m | Show |
Akron has lost nine straight games after winning their season opener against FCS foe St. Francis. The 1-9 (0-6 MAC) Zips have one more chance to notch a win against an FBS team this year as they’ll look to shock the Huskies at home. Northern Illinois, one of the preseason favorites to win the MAC, has suffered injury after injury. The Huskies have dropped five one-score games this season and have fallen to 3-8 (2-5 MAC)...their worst full season since 2007. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Kent State v. Buffalo UNDER 52.5 | Top | 30-27 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 23 m | Show |
The Bulls resume their schedule after a 17-day layoff. Kent State, meanwhile, hasn’t played since Nov. 16 at Eastern Michigan. Kent State is traditionally known for its passing offense, but its pass defense is 11th in the 12-team MAC, having given up 3,106 yards in 11 games. |
|||||||
11-26-22 | Old Dominion +15.5 v. South Alabama | Top | 20-27 | Win | 100 | 1 h 26 m | Show |
The Old Dominion Monarchs (3-8; 4-7 ATS; 2-5 conf.) extended their losing streak to five games last Saturday. Playing as 16-point road underdogs, the Monarchs suffered a 27-14 defeat at the Appalachian State Mountaineers. At least, they covered the spread for the first time since Week 7 and a surprising 49-21 victory at the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. App State outgained Old Dominion 498-394 in total yards, and the Monarchs trailed 27-0 at the end of the third quarter, scoring a couple of consolation touchdowns late in the fourth. Sophomore QB Hayden Wolff completed 22 of his 37 passing attempts for 308 yards and two touchdowns, while sophomore wideout Javon Harvey had four receptions for 133 yards and a pair of scores. Let's take the Monarchs with the big number again. |

11-26-22 | Ball State v. Missouri State UNDER 139.5 | Top | 67-64 | Win | 100 | 1 h 46 m | Show |
The under is 11-2 in Cardinals last 13 games following a straight-up loss and is 5-2 in Cardinals' last 7 overall. The under is 4-0 in Cardinals' last 4 games following an ATS loss |
|||||||
11-25-22 | Nebraska +11 v. Iowa | Top | 24-17 | Win | 100 | 5 h 21 m | Show |
Iowa can get Big Ten title shot by beating Nebraska After losing three consecutive conference games, Iowa stands one victory from the Big Ten championship game thanks to a four-game winning streak. Iowa, at one point, was 3-4 overall and 1-3 in conference play. Then came victories over Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin and Minnesota, pushing the Hawkeyes (7-4, 5-3 Big Ten) in position to play either Ohio State or Michigan in the Big Ten title game. A victory over Nebraska (3-8, 2-6) on Friday at Iowa City, Iowa, will make it happen. "Really happy for our guys," said Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, who was embroiled in criticism after the early struggles this season. "Really happy locker room. That's November football, whatever it takes to get it done." Iowa has won seven straight games against Nebraska, which is likely playing its last game under interim head coach Mickey Joseph. The Cornhuskers lost five consecutive Big Ten games after starting 2-1, including a painful defeat last week. Nebraska was competitive in the 15-14 home loss to Wisconsin but fell short when the Badgers scored on a touchdown run with 35 seconds left. |
|||||||
11-25-22 | Central Michigan v. Eastern Michigan UNDER 54.5 | Top | 19-38 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 23 m | Show |
This is Central Michigan’s bowl game. It was a wildly weird and disappointing season, but the team was on a nice roll of three wins in four games before the power outage 12-10 loss to Western Michigan with just 253 yards and no luck whatsoever. Eastern Michigan has gotten by week after week even after having a slew of problems with penalties, third down stops, and generating pressure in the backfield. It’s all about the ground game. Central Michigan is 4-0 when it gets past 160 rushing yards and 0-7 when it doesn’t. Eastern Michigan allowed more than 160 yards five times |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Alabama v. Michigan State UNDER 145.5 | Top | 81-70 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 35 m | Show |
Michigan State quickly has gained respect with the way it has performed against top competition this season. The Spartans went from unranked to No. 12 in the latest AP poll after quality wins against then-No. 4 Kentucky and Villanova last week. It won't get any easier this holiday weekend. Michigan State will face unbeaten and No. 18 Alabama in the opener of the Phil Knight Invitational on Thursday in Portland, Ore. The winner will return Friday to face the victor of the UConn-Oregon game, which will be played on Thursday. The finals and consolation games of the tournament will be Sunday. The Spartans will get another test when they face Notre Dame in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge next Wednesday. "We can play good and go 0-3," Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said of the Portland event. "This is a very, very, very, very good tournament, and so we'll see. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Patriots v. Vikings OVER 42 | Top | 26-33 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show |
Minnesota suffered its worst defeat since 2011 with a 40-3 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday. The Vikings have never won a playoff game in the same season that they lost a game by at least 35 points (six previous seasons).
|
|||||||
11-24-22 | Patriots v. Vikings -2.5 | Top | 26-33 | Win | 100 | 10 h 41 m | Show |
The first regular-season game Kevin O'Connell participated in during his fleeting NFL playing career came in late-game relief for New England in a rare lopsided loss. The Patriots had a bye the following week, and sure enough coach Bill Belichick had them ready for a bounce-back victory. Even after Tom Brady was lost for the year with a knee injury in the opener, the Patriots finished that 2008 season with an 11-5 record. The response to the Week 3 blowout was methodical, not maniacal. The message was about controlling what was in their control and simply letting the rest of it go. "That sticks with me to this very day, just as an example of what it's like to coach in those moments where adversity hits and how you need to be at your best for your team," O'Connell said. The first-year Minnesota Vikings coach has found himself in that very situation this week, following a 40-3 loss to Dallas. The Vikings (8-2) host the Patriots (6-4), still coached by Belichick all these years later, on Thursday night with only four days to regroup. O'Connell, fittingly, will experience one of the biggest tests of his mettle as the boss against a coach who significantly influenced his know-how and perspective. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Mississippi State v. Ole Miss UNDER 62 | Top | 24-22 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
Ole Miss and Mississippi State are not where they wanted to be on Thanksgiving weekend, and it remains to be seen whether Lane Kiffin is coming to the party known in Mississippi as the Egg Bowl. The Rebels (8-3, 4-3 Southeastern Conference) were ranked in the AP Top 10 after winning their first seven games, but they've lost three of their past four, and the defeats have come by an average of two touchdowns. The Bulldogs (7-4, 3-4) were ranked No. 16 after starting the season 5-1, but they have lost three of their past five overall and three of their past four SEC games. To add a dash of drama reports Kiffin was on the verge of bowing out of his job at Ole Miss to accept an offer at Auburn surfaced Monday night. Kiffin replied to the report with a matter-of-fact "news to me," to lead off a string of social media posts denying he'd be anywhere except the annual Battle for the Golden Egg on Thursday night in Oxford, Miss. The winner's season will look a whole lot better before the teams head off to their respective bowl games. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Florida v. Xavier UNDER 149.5 | Top | 83-90 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 27 m | Show |
Xavier coach Sean Miller sees familiarities with the team's last opponent when he scans the scouting report for Thursday's matchup with Florida in the Phil Knight Legacy tournament at Portland, Ore. After giving up 30 points and six rebounds to Trayce Jackson-Davis in an 81-79 loss to Indiana, the Musketeers (3-1) now must contend with Florida's Colin Castleton. A power up front like Jackson-Davis, Castleton is averaging 25.3 points and 8.8 rebounds a game for the Gators (3-1). "They do a great job of playing through him," Miller said. "He seems to be involved in almost every offensive possession, maybe a little bit more away from the basket skill-wise than a guy like Jackson-Davis but make no mistake. If you can average 25 points a game through the first three or four games, that's all you need to know." Castleton was a big force behind Florida's 76-67 comeback win at Florida State in the Gators' last outing, scoring right at his average of 25 points and just missing a double-double with nine rebounds. He accounted for 13 points as the Gators scored 33 of the first 38 points in the second half while rallying from a 17-point halftime deficit. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Giants v. Cowboys UNDER 45.5 | Top | 20-28 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys channeled the anger from a collapse one week into the biggest road rout in club history the next. Now they're thinking about building on all the things that went right while the opponent tries to figure out what went wrong. The New York Giants visit the Cowboys on Thanksgiving with the NFC East rivals sharing 7-3 records, two games behind division-leading Philadelphia. Not much else is similar for this pair of playoff contenders, the Cowboys are healthy and appearing primed to get on a roll, the Giants sputtering and dealing with injuries. Dallas blew a 14-point lead entering the fourth quarter for the first time in franchise history in an overtime loss at Green Bay before one of its most dominant performances in a long time in a 40-3 victory at Minnesota. Prescott is finding a rhythm after missing five games with a fractured thumb on his throwing hand, surrounded by a mostly healthy roster with plenty of playmakers on defense, too. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Giants +10.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 20-28 | Win | 100 | 6 h 3 m | Show |
The Giants just gave up season highs in points and turnovers (three) in a 31-18 loss to Detroit that dropped them into a tie with the Cowboys. Since Dallas won 23-16 at New York in Week 3, the Giants would essentially fall two games behind the defending NFC East champions with another loss to them. This is where the short week could come in handy for New York. It's just the second Thanksgiving meeting out of 122 overall in the storied rivalry. "I think it makes it easier because we have no choice, but to quickly move on to the next opponent," Giants defensive end Leonard Williams said. "Regardless of win or lose, every week we talk about flushing the last game and moving on to the next one." New York quarterback Daniel Jones has four rushing touchdowns, more than in any of his first three seasons. He probably doesn't want to be reminded of one he didn't get last season. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Tennessee v. USC UNDER 136.5 | Top | 73-66 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 38 m | Show |
Southern California's Boogie Ellis understands the significance of Thursday's semifinal against No. 22 Tennessee at the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. "We come out here and we win a couple games, we got a chance to make some noise," he said. "Just (relaying) to the guys that this is a really important tournament for us to make a statement." Ellis scored 27 points and Joshua Morgan and Drew Peterson posted double-doubles as the Trojans (4-1) knocked off BYU 82-76 in the first round on Wednesday. After leading 28-23 at halftime, Tennessee (3-1) dominated Butler in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 43-22 to cruise to a 71-45 win. The winner plays in the title game on Friday night against No. 3 Kansas (5-0) or Wisconsin (4-0). The semifinal losers meet in the third-place game on Friday afternoon. The Trojans extended their winning streak to four games by using a balanced scoring attack that included Peterson posting 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Morgan had his second straight double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. |
|||||||
11-24-22 | Bills v. Lions +9.5 | Top | 28-25 | Win | 100 | 2 h 48 m | Show |
The Buffalo Bills are back in Detroit and this time, they're facing the suddenly surging Lions on Thanksgiving. The NFL shifted Buffalo's previous home game against Cleveland to Ford Field after a winter storm dumped several feet of snow across the Buffalo area. The Bills dug out of their snow-packed home and some needed help from team employees, neighbors and strangers to get out of town before beating the Browns to end a two-game losing streak. Buffalo (7-3) is tied with Miami atop the AFC East and needs another win to keep pace with the Dolphins while holding off New England and the New York Jets, teams in the division that are only one game back. "These short weeks are pretty tough in terms of scheduling and guys trying to get their bodies right to play, but it's tough for them as well," quarterback Josh Allen said. Detroit (4-6) has won three games in a row for the first time in five years and the last such stretch of success was snapped on Thanksgiving, starting a five-game losing streak on the holiday. |

11-24-22 | Manhattan +4.5 v. Northeastern | Top | 67-69 | Win | 100 | 1 h 50 m | Show |
The Huskies are now 0-4 while the Jaspers sit at 1-2. A pair of stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Northeastern is the 21st worst in college basketball in takeaways, with only 10.8 on average. Manhattan has experienced some struggles of its own as they are stumbling into the matchup with the 358th most turnovers per game in college basketball, having accrued 19 on average. |

11-23-22 | Clippers +9 v. Warriors | Top | 107-124 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 40 m | Show |
Golden State Warriors fans hope to see the Klay Thompson they witnessed on television last week when the defending champions open a three-day, two-game homestand with their first matchup of the season against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. The Pacific Division rivals both were missing key players in their last outing and came away with different results. The Clippers were without Paul George (strained right hamstring) and Luke Kennard (strained right calf) when they completed a 3-0 homestand with a 121-114 victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday night. Norman Powell and Reggie Jackson led the way with 30 and 27 points, respectively. The Clippers also got eight points and five assists from Kawhi Leonard in just his third game since returning from nearly a month-long absence due to soreness in his surgically repaired right knee. The five-time All-Star has played no more than 25 minutes in any game during his comeback and has averaged just 8.3 points and 4.3 assists in the last three games. Despite regular lineup shuffling, the Clippers have counted upon depth to get the season off to a winning start. |

11-23-22 | Fresno State v. Washington UNDER 128 | Top | 57-62 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show |
Washington aims to bounce back from a demoralizing setback when it faces Fresno State on Wednesday night in the Wooden Legacy at Anaheim, Calif. The Huskies (3-1) scored the game's first eight points but later trailed by 12 in the second half before succumbing 73-64 to visiting Cal Baptist on Thursday. "We don't want to get behind like that," Washington coach Mike Hopkins said. "We had our chances but just couldn't get over the hump." The winner of the game between the Huskies and Fresno State (1-3) will meet either Vanderbilt or Saint Mary's in Thursday night's title game. The losers will battle in the consolation game. The Huskies had Keion Brooks Jr. back on the floor versus Cal Baptist after a two-game absence due to a leg injury. The Kentucky transfer scored 20 points in his Washington debut in the season-opening win over Weber State, but had 11 on 4-of-12 shooting against Cal Baptist. "He forced it a little bit but he played his heart out," Hopkins said. Brooks' 15.5 point per game scoring average is second on the squad behind freshman Keyon Menifield, who is averaging 15.8. Menifield had eight points on 4-of-14 shooting against the Lancers after averaging 23.5 points over the previous two games. Fresno State has lost three straight contests, including Saturday's 61-52 road loss against North Texas. |

11-23-22 | Pelicans v. Spurs +7.5 | Top | 129-110 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 43 m | Show |
The Spurs will head home after a disastrous five-game trip in which they lost in San Francisco, Portland, Sacramento and in Los Angeles twice, with the average margin of defeat 23 points per game. The closest game on the trip was a 117-110 loss to the Trail Blazers. That was the only game of the five that San Antonio had all of its regular starters available. The Spurs' most recent setback was a 123-92 loss Sunday to the Lakers, who won easily despite playing without injured LeBron James. San Antonio was down by 18 at the half and then missed its first 11 shots of the third quarter to put to rest any notion of getting back in the game. Devin Vassell led San Antonio with 17 points, with Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan scoring 12 each, and Tre Jones and Josh Richardson adding 10 apiece. San Antonio, which has dropped 10 of their past 11 contests, played without Jakob Poeltl, who had been its leading scorer in two of its past three games. "We have a young team. Winning is hard in the NBA," said Gorgui Dieng, who started in Poeltl's spot. "They're learning. Whether you win or lose, just make sure you have the right habits. Tonight was a very bad game for us." Spurs coach Gregg Popovich also missed the game after falling ill beforehand. Assistant coach Brett Brown ran the team in his absence. "The end of a long road trip, five games in seven nights, is always going to be difficult," Brown said after Sunday's loss. "We're better than we played (Sunday). They have competed at a far greater level than they did tonight. We will respond. They're a prideful group." Wednesday's game will mark the first contest in a three-game homestand for San Antonio. Nine of the Spurs' next 11 contests will be at home. |

11-23-22 | Wizards +1.5 v. Heat | Top | 105-113 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 22 m | Show |
The Washington Wizards have enjoyed a reversal of fortune by walking away with six wins in their last seven games, but seeing their star limp off the court is cause for concern. The Wizards begin a back-to-back series of games at the Miami Heat on Wednesday with Bradley Beal's availability in limbo due to a right quadriceps injury. "He'll be evaluated and then we will make a determination," Washington coach Wes Unseld Jr. said. Beal sustained the injury during the final minute of the Wizards' 106-102 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. He finished the game with 26 points, one shy of his total in Washington's 107-106 overtime win over an undermanned Miami squad on Friday. Beal has missed five of his team's 17 games this season due to a stint in health and safety protocol following a positive test for COVID-19. He boasts team-leading averages in points (22.7) and assists (5.8) points while shooting a robust 51.2 percent from the floor. Kyle Kuzma recorded his fifth double-double of the season after collecting 28 points and 10 rebounds against the Hornets. He had 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the previous encounter versus the Heat. |

11-23-22 | Oilers v. Islanders -115 | Top | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 16 m | Show |
The New York Islanders overcame some imperfections to earn a much-needed road win Monday night. The Edmonton Oilers couldn't do the same -- but they had a reasonable excuse as the latest team to fall victim to the red-hot New Jersey Devils. The Islanders and Oilers will both be looking to play more complete games Wednesday night, when New York hosts Edmonton in a Thanksgiving Eve clash in Elmont, N.Y. Both teams were off Tuesday following their games a night earlier. The Islanders overcame a late deficit in the third period to edge the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in overtime. The Oilers fell to the surging Devils, 5-2. The Islanders' win ended a two-game losing streak and salvaged a split of a four-game road trip, even as New York gave up the first seven shots of Monday's game and were outshot 32-24. According to Natural Stat Trick, the Maple Leafs had 12 high-danger chances compared to five for New York. |

11-23-22 | Wolves v. Pacers | Top | 115-101 | Win | 100 | 12 h 45 m | Show |
Minnesota brings a four-game winning streak into Indiana. The Timberwolves' run has combined improved offensive efficiency, with Minnesota producing two of its four highest-scoring games of the season in the streak's first two outings, and tough defense. The Timberwolves have held each of their past three opponents to less than 110 points, including limiting Miami to 101 in a four-point Minnesota win on Monday. The Heat's 101 points were the fewest the Timberwolves have surrendered in a game this season. Anthony Edwards told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune that Monday was a "tough game, ugly game," but added, "It was a great win and a great team win." Monday was the lone home-game interlude for Minnesota in a stretch playing six of seven games on the road. Wednesday's visit to Indiana marks the penultimate road contest in this span, with a Friday trip to Charlotte as the last game before the Timberwolves play four of five at home. |

11-23-22 | Jets v. Wild -150 | Top | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 59 m | Show |
The Wild are coming off an overtime victory against the Hurricanes, a 2-1 result on Saturday that snapped a three-game (0-2-1) winless drought. Minnesota was the team with the late comeback on that night, trailing until Sam Steel tied the score 17:23 into the third period. Steel also earned an assist for helping to set up Alex Goligoski's overtime winner. Wild coach Dean Evason said he hopes the game will be a turning point and a reminder of how successful his team can be when it is at top form. "That's who we are. That team looked like us, right?" Evason asked rhetorically. "(Carolina) pushed us to play like us. ... It's a really good template for us to remember, to reinforce." Minnesota is 0-for-14 on the power play over its past five games. Solving the power-play woes could be difficult against the Jets, whose 85.7 percent (36-for-42) penalty-kill percentage is among the best in the league. The Wild's Kirill Kaprizov has seven points (two goals, five assists) during his six-game points streak. Kaprizov is two games away from matching his career-best, as he collected a pair of eight-game points streaks last season. Filip Gustavsson likely will receive another start on Wednesday, since Marc-Andre Fleury (upper-body injury) is still on the Wild's injured reserve. Gustavsson looked good against the Hurricanes, stopping 20 of 21 shots. |
|||||||
11-23-22 | Bruins v. Panthers +105 | Top | 2-5 | Win | 105 | 4 h 54 m | Show |
The Panthers are still adjusting after making a couple of big offseason decisions, trading away homegrown star Jonathan Huberdeau and bringing in Paul Maurice as a coach. The Panthers also traded valuable defenseman MacKenzie Weegar in that same deal, which brought back power forward Matthew Tkachuk from the Calgary Flames. So far, it hasn't clicked. The Panthers will enter Wednesday on a three-game losing streak (0-2-1), allowing 15 regulation goals during that span. Tkachuk has done his part, leading Florida in assists (17) and points (25). Carter Verhaeghe, who scored a career-high 24 goals last season, leads the Panthers with 11 tallies, putting him on pace for a career year. But some of Florida's other big guns have been somewhat subdued so far, including Aleksander Barkov (four goals), Sam Reinhart (five), and Sam Bennett (five). Last season, Barkov scored 39 goals, Reinhart had 33 and Bennett netted 28 -- all career highs. It's been frustrating for the Panthers, who earlier this season had to endure 11 games without their top defenseman, Aaron Ekblad while starting goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has struggled (4-5-1, 3.62 GAA). The Panthers are coming off a 5-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday. In that game, Florida had 50 shots on goal and still lost despite Columbus putting only 23 on net. "We've got to get some people in front of the net to score some hard, ugly goals," Maurice said. "We're having a hard time completing plays around the net." |
|||||||
11-23-22 | Blues v. Sabres UNDER 6.5 | Top | 2-6 | Loss | -104 | 4 h 40 m | Show |
The St. Louis Blues will ride momentum into their game at Buffalo on Wednesday, while the Sabres will bring a sense of relief. St. Louis finds itself on a seven-game winning streak and hasn't lost since Nov. 8. "Winning cures everything, everyone feels better about it," Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly said. "We have that belief back in our group and it's exciting. It's fun coming to the rink." The Sabres are coming off a 7-2 road victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday that snapped an eight-game losing streak. "It has taken a weight off my shoulders, I can tell you that, personally," Sabres coach Don Granato said after the game. "It's great. It's fun to see the guys play that way, obviously. Lots of guys, I mean, they care and they work. We're young. "You see the care behind the scenes. It's really nice to see them enjoy this tonight." The Blues know how the Sabres have felt. Prior to the current winning streak, St. Louis lost a team-record eight consecutive games in regulation while getting outscored 38-12. |

11-23-22 | Akron v. Nevada UNDER 131 | Top | 58-62 | Win | 100 | 9 h 14 m | Show |
The Zips are 1-4 ATS this season. It was the tale of two halves on Tuesday as the Zips were up two, 35-33, at halftime versus LSU, despite shooting 31% from the field. That poor shooting wasn’t even an indication of how bad things would get in the second half as Akron hit just five field goals on 25 attempts and was outscored 40-23. Enrique Freeman, who went 7-for-8 and led the team with 18 points on Monday, shot just 1-for-6 and had three points on the day. Xavier Castenada had his third 20+ point game of the season. The senior guard had 28 points, shooting 6-for-16 and 12-for-16 from the free-throw stripe. He added six rebounds and four assists. |

11-23-22 | Kansas v. NC State UNDER 153 | Top | 80-74 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 26 m | Show |
No. 3 Kansas already has some nice accomplishments this season, and now the Jayhawks get their coach back and head into to a high-profile tournament. Bill Self will be on the bench for the first time this season when the Jayhawks take on North Carolina State on Wednesday in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. NC State has made headway in its own way early this season, but the focus for this tournament opener is on the Jayhawks and Self. The coach finished a four-game suspension imposed by the university stemming from an NCAA investigation in 2017. Assistant coach Kurtis Townsend is also back from a ban that was connected to Self's suspension. Norm Roberts had filled in as acting coach. This is Self's 20th season with the Jayhawks. Even though he wasn't on the scene to start the season, this marks the ninth time since he took charge in 2003 that Kansas is off to a 4-0 start. Forward KJ Adams Jr. -- at just 6-foot-7 -- has given the Jayhawks a boost up front. It's unclear if he's locked into that starting role. |

11-22-22 | Lakers +10.5 v. Suns | Top | 105-115 | Win | 100 | 9 h 22 m | Show |
Anthony Davis is enjoying his best stretch of the season and the Los Angeles Lakers aim to extend their season-long winning streak to four games Tuesday night when they visit the Phoenix Suns. Davis hadn't reached the 30-point mark prior to the current run but he is averaging 35 points a game during the span after outings of 37, 38 and 30 points. Davis also is averaging 17.3 rebounds during a stretch in which the Lakers are playing without LeBron James (adductor), who is listed as questionable for Tuesday and could miss his fifth consecutive game. Los Angeles coach Darvin Ham said the club will continue to be cautious with James. He sees no reason to rush things with the season not even 20 percent over. |
|||||||
11-22-22 | Pistons v. Nuggets -5.5 | Top | 110-108 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 38 m | Show |
The Grizzlies have lost their way defensively. After holding Charlotte and Washington to 99 and 97 points in the final two outings of a three-game winning streak at the beginning of the month, Memphis has watched each of its past seven opponents go for 102 or more. Two of those foes topped 120, including the Brooklyn Nets in a 127-115 home win over Memphis on Sunday. Dillon Brooks paced the short-handed Grizzlies with 31 points. Jaren Jackson Jr. joined Bane and Morant on the sidelines Sunday because he's being brought along slowly following off-season surgery on his right foot. He's expected back to face the Kings. "You take it in stride," Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said of the inconsistent lineups. "You control what you can control. We just got to rely on our depth." Memphis is 0-2 this season in games in which neither Bane nor Morant has played. Tyus Jones has started both of those games and has averaged 15 points and 5.5 assists. They will either play well defensively or get run out of the building. |

11-22-22 | Kings +1.5 v. Grizzlies | Top | 113-109 | Win | 100 | 8 h 35 m | Show |
The last team to see the "old" Sacramento Kings will become the 12th to experience the new-and-improved edition when the Western Conference's hottest team visits the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. The last time the clubs met, the Grizzlies handed the Kings their fourth consecutive loss to open the season as the Grizzlies got 31 points from Desmond Bane in a 125-110 victory in Sacramento. Much has changed in the nearly four weeks since. While the Kings have won nine of 11, including six in a row, the Grizzlies are just 6-6 while losing Bane to a sprained right big toe and Ja Morant to a sprained left ankle. Sacramento's winning ways figure to get tested on a four-day trip to Memphis, Atlanta and Boston that will sandwich Thanksgiving. The winning streak has featured double-figures scoring from seven different players, including De'Aaron Fox, who has used 57.7 percent shooting to fashion a 24-point scoring average during the run. |
|||||||
11-22-22 | Nets v. 76ers +8 | Top | 106-115 | Win | 100 | 7 h 0 m | Show |
Coming off his best showing for the Brooklyn Nets since being traded from the 76ers, Ben Simmons heads into Tuesday's return to Philadelphia feeling good even while anticipating the reaction from 76ers' fans. "In Philly? Come on now, I know what's coming," Simmons said. "That's part of the game. Philly fans, one thing about Philly fans is they are incredible. They are diehard Philly and they are everything Philly, whatever it is. I respect that about the city. It's a sports town." Given their injury woes, Philadelphia will not be necessarily focused on the return of Simmons, who averaged 15.9 points in 275 regular-season games for them before making his last appearance with the team in Game 7 of the 2021 Eastern Conference semifinals. The 76ers will be without star Joel Embiid with a left mid-foot sprain Saturday night and will miss at least two games. Already without James Harden for another two weeks because of a strained right foot, the Sixers lost Tyrese Maxey to a broken left foot Friday, and then Embiid injured his foot Saturday after colliding with teammate Georges Niang in the second half of a 112-109 loss to the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves. Tobias Harris (sore left hip), Furkan Korkmaz (knee) missed Saturday's game, and defensive specialist P.J. Tucker -- who often guards Brooklyn star Kevin Durant -- left that game due to an unspecified injury. However, it's the game after injuries where I like to grab points because replacements will be highly motivated to show what they can do. |

11-22-22 | Weber State v. Abilene Christian UNDER 136.5 | Top | 77-67 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
Two contrasting styles here but I expect the slower pace to win out. Weber State has played in six under in their last seven games and 16 of 23 on neutral courts. |

11-22-22 | Ball State v. Miami-OH UNDER 45.5 | Top | 17-18 | Win | 100 | 7 h 53 m | Show |
Ball State (5-6, 3-4 MAC) is receiving its third and final shot at bowl eligibility. The Cardinals spent their prior two weeks pitted against potential MAC Championship Game participants Toledo and Ohio, and neither game wound up in their favor. But the loss to Ohio was even more costly as Ball State watched star running back Carson Steele leave the game with an injury after a brutal head-on collision with the turf. |

11-22-22 | Ball State +2.5 v. Miami-OH | Top | 17-18 | Win | 100 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
Carson Steele is Ball State’s offense this season. The running back ranks ninth in the FBS in rushing yards with 1,376 and the true sophomore has 12 rushing touchdowns in addition. Steele utilizes his 6’1”, 215-pound frame and impressive weight room numbers to shed tackles at a jaw-dropping rate. Last week, the midgame injury left him four yards shy of his sixth consecutive 100-yard rushing game. With his status in doubt Tuesday, Ball State must reimagine its offense, but the Cardinals could still lean heavily on the run game with Will Jones and Vaughn Pemberton out of the gate. |

11-21-22 | Cincinnati v. Arizona UNDER 160.5 | Top | 93-101 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 48 m | Show |
No. 14 Arizona has been all fun and flash while steamrolling three overmatched opponents, but the competition is about to get stiffer at the Maui Invitational starting Monday against Cincinnati in Lahaina, Hawaii. The Wildcats (3-0) set a school record for shooting percentage (71.7) in their opener against Nicholls, got a triple-double from point guard Kerr Kriisa against Southern, and established another school record Thursday against Utah Tech by making 22 of 22 free throw attempts. "I think we're good," said coach Tommy Lloyd. "We got through these first three games, and our guys are getting a feeling for how hard you need to play. The new guys are understanding that there's a level of effort and a standard that you have to meet to be an Arizona basketball player. They're starting to hit that." Cincinnati (3-1) hasn't shown the same kind of offensive prowess as Arizona and is coming off a 64-51 loss Wednesday at Northern Kentucky in which it managed only 11 points in the second half. The Bearcats shot 33.9 percent from the field. |

11-21-22 | Heat v. Wolves -8.5 | Top | 101-105 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 52 m | Show |
The Minnesota Timberwolves will aim to stretch their season-best winning streak to four games when they host the injury-ravaged Miami Heat on Monday night. The Timberwolves will attempt to move above .500 for the first time since Oct. 30 against a Heat squad that will be without star Jimmy Butler for the third straight game. Minnesota averaged 122.3 points while winning the final three contests of a four-game trip. The Timberwolves defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 112-109 in Saturday's excursion-ending game. The fourth quarter was shaky as Minnesota saw a 15-point lead with under nine minutes to play trimmed to one with 29.1 seconds left before holding on. "There are positives and negatives," Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert said afterward. "I'm glad that we won. I really want to say that. But obviously, it's a little sour when you close the game like this." Minnesota coach Chris Finch was pleased with the escape but not with the late-game play. |

11-20-22 | Hornets v. Wizards UNDER 221 | Top | 102-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards are coming off Friday night games that had something in common, as neither was decided in regulation. From there, there were different routes. So expect the Wizards to be in a little better shape when the teams meet Sunday night in Washington. The Wizards beat the visiting Miami Heat 107-106 in overtime for their fifth victory in their last six games. The Hornets have to search for any positives, particularly after a bizarre double-overtime loss at Cleveland. Charlotte came back from 10 down in the final 45 seconds of regulation and then was in a position to win in the first overtime before ultimately suffering its 10th loss in the last 11 games. "You have to be able to handle disappointment, frustration, and success and move on," Hornets coach Steve Clifford said. "There's a lot to learn from (a game like that)." Washington's stretch of positive results began with a 108-100 victory Nov. 7 at Charlotte. |

11-20-22 | Bears +3 v. Falcons | Top | 24-27 | Push | 0 | 22 h 5 m | Show |
Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears are learning how to score in the quarterback's second season. Learning to win has been the more difficult lesson. Fields will be in the spotlight for his Georgia homecoming as the Bears and Atlanta Falcons match strong running games - and deflating losing streaks - on Sunday. Fields, a native of the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw, began his college career at Georgia before transferring to Ohio State. Fields' family had Falcons season tickets. He said his favorite Atlanta players were quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones. Fields didn't know how many of his friends and family members will attend the game. "I know my regular people are going - my mom, my dad," Fields said. "But of course, it's exciting, for sure. My goal really is just to go 1-0 this week and win the game down there." Fields, a 2021 first-round pick, has solidified his status as the Bears' franchise quarterback by leading the NFL's top rushing offense. He returns to Atlanta after rushing for a combined 325 yards the last two weeks, the highest two-game total by an NFL quarterback, surpassing the 268 two-game total by Baltimore's Lamar Jackson in 2019. Fields ran for 178 yards against Miami two weeks ago and added 147 in last week's 31-30 loss to Detroit. He will be the top priority for Atlanta's defense. |

11-19-22 | Jazz v. Blazers UNDER 228 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 52 m | Show |
The Utah Jazz doesn't have much time to celebrate a thrilling 134-133 home win on Friday over the Phoenix Suns, a team that many consider to be the Western Conference favorite this season. A night after overcoming a 49-point performance by the Suns' Devin Booker, the Jazz visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night for another showdown with a team atop the early conference standings. The winner between the Blazers (10-5) and the Jazz (11-6) will own the best record in the West, for whatever that's worth at this point in the season. That's especially surprising, considering the two teams are winning at a higher rate than expected. As noted by The Oregonian, the Blazers' over/under for wins was 40.5 coming into the season. Utah, which traded away Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, had much lower outside expectations, including an over/under of 23.5 victories. Utah's chances of winning will be much greater if Lauri Markkanen, the surprising team's surprising All-Star candidate, has another outing like the one he produced Friday when he scored a career-high 38 points. |
|||||||
11-19-22 | Jazz v. Blazers -3.5 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 47 m | Show |
The Blazers have their own All-Star who can light up the scoreboard on any night. Damian Lillard had 25 points and 11 assists in Portland's most recent outing, a tough 109-107 loss to the visiting Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. It was Lillard's third double-double in a row. "I thought tonight we just didn't do enough," Lillard said after the Blazers lost to the Nets on a last-second tip-in by Royce O'Neale. "They played harder than us in situations and they made the plays that we didn't. Portland turns it around tonight |

11-19-22 | Islanders v. Stars -139 | Top | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
Following a successful road stretch, the high-scoring Dallas Stars try to hand the visiting New York Islanders a second straight defeat on Saturday night. Given the Stars' potent offense, the Islanders can't afford another rough opening period. Sitting atop the Central Division with 22 points, Dallas ranks among the NHL leaders with 66 goals. The Stars have totaled 38 of those goals while going 5-2-1 in November and scored at least four in each of the last four games. Roope Hintz scored twice while Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin each had a goal with an assist during Thursday's 6-4 win at Florida to cap a 2-0-1 road trip. |

11-19-22 | Raptors v. Hawks -5 | Top | 122-124 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
The Toronto Raptors hope to get an encore performance from O.G. Anunoby when they travel to play the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. The Raptors have dominated the series over the last two seasons. Toronto won three of the four meetings a year ago and scored a 139-109 win over Atlanta on Oct. 31 in their first encounter of the season when the Hawks committed a season-worst 18 turnovers. Anunoby scored a career-high 32 points and matched his season high with 10 rebounds in Toronto's 112-104 win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Raptors have won two straight. Atlanta followed its emotional win over Milwaukee with a poor performance in a 126-101 loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Atlanta has won five of its last eight, the losses coming against Philadelphia, Utah and Boston. Anunoby was 13 for 18 from the field against Miami and is averaging 18.3 points and 6.4 rebounds. "He wanted the ball, he controlled it, he made moves, he made pass-outs, all the stuff you have to do when you're the go-to-guy," Toronto coach Nick Nurse said. The Raptors should also have a healthy Fred VanVleet on Saturday. He returned on Wednesday after missing two games with the flu and scored 23, even though he wasn't at full strength. |

11-19-22 | UL-Monroe +15 v. Troy | Top | 16-34 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 24 m | Show |
Louisiana-Monroe is coming off back-to-back wins after losing four straight games earlier in the season. Monroe defeated Texas State by 1-point and in their latest game, they went on the road to defeat Georgia State 31-28. The Warhawks defeated the Panthers in unconventional ways of scoring. Their first touchdown came in the second quarter off of a 23-yard blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown. Late in the fourth quarter, the Warhawks were trailing by five points, and they took a 34-yard interception to the house for a pick-six. The touchdown gave Monroe a 31-28 lead with 6-minutes to go in the game. Georgia State would be stopped on fourth down in their next two possessions to close out the game and give Monroe the victory. “Two good wins in a row and we won our first game on the road. We’ll enjoy this game tonight and then we’ll get on to Troy tomorrow," head coach Terry Bowden said following the win. |

11-19-22 | Boston College v. Notre Dame UNDER 43.5 | Top | 0-44 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 21 m | Show |
No. 18 Notre Dame will look to extend a four-game winning streak and continue its dominance in the annual Holy War rivalry game against Boston College on Saturday in South Bend, Ind. The Fighting Irish (7-3) have rebounded well after an 0-2 start. Offensively, things have clicked with Notre Dame scoring at least 35 points in each contest of the streak, including a 35-32 win last weekend against Navy. Boston College (3-7) has had a largely forgettable season but made a statement with a 21-20 upset win at then No. 16 NC State last Saturday. Emmett Morehead threw a 2-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds remaining to Joseph Griffin Jr. to clinch Boston College's first win over a Top 25 team in eight years. To get another upset, the Eagles will have to reverse their difficult history against Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish have won eight straight in the rivalry. In each of the past three meetings, they scored at least 40 points and each game was decided by at least two touchdowns. The last time Boston College beat Notre Dame came on Nov. 8, 2008, a 17-0 Eagles victory. |

11-19-22 | Maryland v. St. Louis UNDER 145.5 | Top | 95-67 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 27 m | Show |
The Terrapins are looking to extend their three-game winning streak to four games when they host the Billikens. In their last outing, Maryland earned a 76-52 win over the Binghamton Bearcats. As a team, they shot 48.4% from the field and earned 42 rebounds, 14 assists, eight steals, and four blocks. Julian Reese (19 PTS, 7 REB, 2, BLK, 88.8% FG) and Hakim Hart (13 PTS, 8 REB, 2 STL, 50% FG) led the Terrapins. Maryland has a 211th-ranked scoring offense this season, averaging 72.7 points per game. Their scoring defense is ranked 10th, surrendering just 50.7 points per game. The Terrapins currently have a scoring margin of 22 which puts them at 51st. |

11-19-22 | Indiana +11.5 v. Michigan State | Top | 39-31 | Win | 100 | 1 h 60 m | Show |
Indiana (3-7, 1-6) will look to snap a seven-game losing streak. The Hoosiers had the misfortune of facing Penn State and Ohio State on back-to-back weekends and got pummeled each time. It's uncertain whether Indiana will go with Connor Bazelak, who has started most of the season, or Dexter Williams II at quarterback this week. The Spartans have won 11 of the last 13 meetings with the Hoosiers. The winner will get the traditional trophy, the Old Brass Spittoon. "Not every program has the opportunity to play trophy games and rivalry games," Indiana coach Tom Allen said. "It's a great opportunity for us to play for the Brass Spittoon, a trophy we've had twice since I've been here and they currently have it right now. Much, much to play for." |

11-19-22 | Illinois +17.5 v. Michigan | Top | 17-19 | Win | 100 | 1 h 57 m | Show |
That matchup will feature two of the best backs in the country, as Chase Brown, the nation's leading rusher, spearheads the Fighting Illini (7-3, 4-3) offense in a showdown with Corum and Michigan. Brown rushed for 100-plus yards in 10 straight games, but was held to 98 last week in Illinois' 31-24 loss to Purdue. It was the first time the Illini lost back-to-back games this season. Brown went down on the sideline in the fourth quarter with a right leg injury and had to exit the game. Illinois coach Bret Bielema said Brown is working toward playing this week. "Very positive and excited, but don't know where we'll be by Friday for the trip and Saturday for the game," Bielema said. Bielema said that linebacker Seth Coleman has been cleared to practice. He entered the concussion protocol and was forced to miss the meeting with the Boilermakers. Coleman has 16 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season. |

11-19-22 | Illinois v. Michigan UNDER 42 | Top | 17-19 | Win | 100 | 1 h 47 m | Show |
The last time Michigan went 12-0, Brian Griese was starting under center, a young Tom Brady had only 15 pass attempts in his sophomore season and Charles Woodson was headlining a defense allowing 9.5 points per game. That was back in 1997, but the third-ranked Wolverines find themselves in a position to replicate that record. First, they'll have to get past No. 21 Illinois on Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich. Michigan (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) maintained its pristine record, coasting to a 34-3 victory against Nebraska last week. J.J. McCarthy completed 8 of 17 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns and Blake Corum added a score on the ground to go along with 162 rushing yards on 28 carries. "Just feel great. Just so appreciative of everybody, really -- players, coaches, staff, all the hard work that's gone in," Wolverines coach John Harbaugh said. "The mission continues. It's a happy mission. ... Keep it rolling, keep it going, and guys are a joy to be around. Excited about the matchup that we have this week." |

11-17-22 | Central Michigan v. Minnesota OVER 135.5 | Top | 60-68 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
Minnesota has won all four games all-time in the series and has won by an average score of 78 to 58.75 while going 3-0-1 ATS in those matchups. The Golden Gophers have won the last three games by an average score of 78.33 to 57.33 while going 3-0 ATS in those contests. |
|||||||
11-17-22 | Titans v. Packers UNDER 41 | Top | 27-17 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 52 m | Show |
Aaron Rodgers appreciates the way the Tennessee Titans have turned their season around. The reigning MVP quarterback hopes his Green Bay Packers can dig themselves out of an even bigger hole than Tennessee. First, the Packers must find a way to cool off those AFC South-leading Titans at Lambeau Field on Thursday night. "They lost their first two games, and I think just like happens in this league, there's probably overreactions and what the hell's going on and what are we going to do," Rodgers said. "And I think they rattled off like five or six wins in a row and kind of quieted everybody up." The Titans (6-3) bounced back from that 0-2 start by winning six of their next seven, including five in a row. Derrick Henry has rushed for 923 yards, 8 behind NFL leader Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants. Green Bay (4-6) had lost five straight - its longest skid since 2008 - before rallying from a 14-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-28 in overtime on Sunday. |
|||||||
11-17-22 | Canadiens v. Blue Jackets -108 | Top | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 49 m | Show |
The improving Columbus Blue Jackets look to continue their climb out of the Metropolitan Division cellar Thursday when they host the Montreal Canadiens. After a five-game losing streak, the Blue Jackets have earned points in their last three games, including a pair of home-ice wins over Philadelphia. Thursday's game is the second of a six-game homestand for Columbus. On Tuesday, Vladislav Gavrikov scored at 3:14 of overtime to give the Blue Jackets their second overtime win, with Gavrikov accounting for both game-winners. Boone Jenner scored twice, and Eric Robinson had a goal and an assist for the Blue Jackets, who did get a dose of bad news in the win. Elvis Merzlikins allowed two goals on 17 shots before leaving the game in the second period with an undisclosed injury. Merzlikins was replaced by Joonas Korpisalo, who made 18 saves. Columbus lost a pair of two-goal leads against Philadelphia before prevailing in overtime. |

11-17-22 | Bryant v. Florida Atlantic -7 | Top | 74-85 | Win | 100 | 7 h 50 m | Show |
The Florida Atlantic Owls will be returning home after a two-game road trip. They will take on the Bryant Bulldogs at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday at FAU Arena. On Monday, Florida Atlantic narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Florida Gators 76-74. The Owls' guard Johnell Davis filled up the stat sheet, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Meanwhile, Bryant didn't have too much trouble with the Dartmouth Big Green on the road this past Friday as they won 89-70. |
|||||||
11-16-22 | VCU v. Arizona State +5 | Top | 59-63 | Win | 100 | 6 h 49 m | Show |
ASU head coach Bobby Hurley enters his eighth season as coach of the Sun Devils with a 118-100 record thus far. Last season, ASU finished 14-17 overall and 10-10 in a very tough Pac-12 conference. This season, Hurley returns two starters from that team with the most important being oft-injured big man Marcus Bagley. After arriving at ASU as a five-star recruit, Bagley played hurt all of that first season and turned down an opportunity to enter the NBA Draft. He returned last year and played only three games due to a knee injury. He now returns, with optimism running high that he looks better than ever. If Bagley is right, he could bring ASU to the NCAA Tournament. |
|||||||
11-16-22 | Pacers v. Hornets -2.5 | Top | 125-113 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 33 m | Show |
Finally emerging from a long losing streak, the Charlotte Hornets will host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night hoping to get rolling in the right direction. "We've easily had stretches where we've had very good, sometimes exceptional play, and then we have times (when) we don't execute," Charlotte coach Steve Clifford said. "We're not that kind of team. We can be very good, but we can't give possessions away. We don't have that much room for error." The Hornets returned from three games in Florida with their first victory in November to snap an eight-game losing streak, their longest skid since 2019 and one shy of a wrong-way stretch of November 2014. That's among the positive aspects they'll take into the game with Indiana. It will be the home debut for point guard LaMelo Ball, something that's bound to bring a buzz to the arena. |
|||||||
11-16-22 | Sabres v. Senators UNDER 7 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 24 m | Show |
Two teams looking to snap out of funks will collide when the Buffalo Sabres visit the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night. Buffalo arrives in the Canadian capital amid a six-game losing streak after a 5-4 defeat against the visiting Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Sabres spotted the Canucks three two-goal leads in the contest, including a 2-0 gap before the midpoint of the opening period. Buffalo pulled to within a goal multiple times, only to have Vancouver respond. "Too easy out of the gate," Buffalo coach Don Granato said. "That is a big lesson that needs to be learned now. Period." The Sabres had won three straight before the slide began with a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Nov. 4. Buffalo has allowed 29 goals over the past six games and has trailed entering the third period four times during that stretch. |
|||||||
11-16-22 | Delaware State v. Columbia -8 | Top | 65-70 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 26 m | Show |
The Hornets came up short against the Villanova Wildcats on Monday, falling 60-50. Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Columbia as they fell 88-85 to the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Sunday. The losses put Delaware State at 1-2 and Columbia at 0-3. A couple of stats to keep an eye on: Delaware State has allowed their opponents to shoot 47.70% from the floor on average, which is the 31st-highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. The Lions have experienced some struggles of their own as they have only been able to knock down 36% percent of their shots, which is the 352nd lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up. |

11-16-22 | Miami-OH +1.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 29-23 | Win | 100 | 3 h 29 m | Show |
Desperation can be a positive. Miami University is out of the MAC title hunt, but it’s still alive for a bowl game if it can win this and take out Ball State next week. To do that, it has to stop the Northern Illinois running game. The Huskies' offensive line has the ability to take over at times for a ground attack that averages close to 200 yards per game. Miami University wins when it holds up against the run, it has to get the passing game going, and it takes games over when it’s able to get its own rushing attack rolling, too. The RedHawks are 3-1 when they run for 200 yards |
|||||||
11-15-22 | Montana State +11.5 v. Oregon | Top | 51-81 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
The Bobcats have covered 5 of their last 6 games dating back to last season, while Oregon has failed to cover 11 of their last 16 games. Double digits are too much here. |
|||||||
11-15-22 | Eastern Michigan +6.5 v. Bradley | Top | 61-89 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
Here comes Emoni Bates. Before the Eastern Michigan basketball star walks across the stage at the NBA Draft next summer, he will hold center stage at Carver Arena on Monday night. And the Bradley Braves will have to steal the spotlight. Both Bates and the Braves are in recovery mode, Bradley trying to bounce back from a 22-point loss at Utah State on Saturday, Bates from a roller-coaster path he's been on since age 15 as perhaps the top prospect in the nation. I think the number is too high, but Bates will be fun to watch this season. |
|||||||
11-15-22 | Canucks +110 v. Sabres | Top | 5-4 | Win | 110 | 4 h 59 m | Show |
Both mired in losing streaks, the Vancouver Canucks visit the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday in a battle of teams desperate for a breakout performance. The Canucks have lost their last three games while the Sabres have suffered five consecutive losses. Each team lost to the league-leading Boston Bruins over the weekend -- Buffalo had a 3-1 setback on home ice Saturday, and Vancouver a 5-2 defeat in Boston on Sunday. The Sabres held a 1-0 lead until 18:51 of the second period before the Bruins scored three unanswered goals. Tage Thompson scored a tremendous short-handed marker for Buffalo's only score of the game. |
|||||||
11-15-22 | Capitals v. Panthers UNDER 6.5 | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 52 m | Show |
Defenseman Aaron Ekblad and winger Matthew Tkachuk are back for the Florida Panthers. Next, the Panthers will try to get back on the winning track Tuesday night when they host the slumping Washington Capitals. Ekblad played on Saturday for the first time since he suffered a lower-body injury on Oct. 17. Tkachuk also returned Saturday but from a shorter absence as he had been suspended for two games for jabbing Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick with his stick. Despite the return of Ekblad and Tkachuk, the Panthers lost, 4-2, at home Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers. Despite missing those two games, Tkachuk still leads the Panthers in points (17) and assists (12). |
|||||||
11-15-22 | Utah Valley v. Wake Forest -11.5 | Top | 65-68 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 54 m | Show |
This past Saturday, the Wolverines narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 73-69. The overall outcome was to be expected, but Northern Arizona made it more of a matchup than the oddsmakers had predicted. Meanwhile, Wake Forest bagged an 81-71 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs this past Friday. The Demon Deacons' success was spearheaded by the efforts of guard Tyree Appleby, who had 22 points and six assists along with six rebounds, and guard Daivien Williamson, who had 24 points. |
|||||||
11-14-22 | Louisiana Tech v. Texas Tech -12.5 | Top | 55-64 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 8 m | Show |
No. 25 Texas Tech will look to continue its impressive home winning streak on Monday when Louisiana Tech comes to Lubbock, Texas. The Red Raiders (2-0) have won 23 consecutive games at home, most recently a 78-54 victory over Texas Southern on Thursday. Kevin Obanor, Texas Tech's lone returning starter and one of three players back from last year's Sweet 16 team, led the Red Raiders with 13 points and seven rebounds. Obanor now has 90 career games in double-figure scoring and hit 900 career rebounds in Thursday's win. Jaylon Tyson added a career-high 13 points in the victory while De'Vion Harmon had 12 points in a contest the Red Raiders trailed for only 42 seconds |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Chargers v. 49ers UNDER 45.5 | Top | 16-22 | Win | 100 | 32 h 4 m | Show |
San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan has been known as one of the NFL's most creative play-callers. The midseason addition of Christian McCaffrey has only expanded the possibilities for the 49ers, who now feature two of the game's most versatile players in McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel. McCaffrey is a former All-Pro running back who has caught more passes than all but 12 wide receivers since he entered the NFL five years ago. Samuel is a former All-Pro receiver who has more TD runs of at least 10 yards than all but one running back in the past two years. "It's just like so crazy how much firepower we have in this offense now, adding him to the team along with all the other guys that we have on our team," Samuel said. "It's going to be crazy. It's going to be hard to cover everybody out there. It will be real fun." The first defense that will have to contend with the dynamic duo will be the struggling Los Angeles Chargers (5-3), who head into Sunday night's showdown with the 49ers (4-4) having allowed the third-most points in the NFL and a league-worst six runs of at least 40 yards. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Jets +121 v. Seattle Kraken | Top | 3-2 | Win | 121 | 11 h 46 m | Show |
It's often said that even an average NHL goaltender can make a save when he sees the puck. But what about when a goalie happens to be a former Vezina Trophy winner, a three-time Stanley Cup champion and a likely first-ballot Hall of Famer? Well, good luck to the opposition. The Seattle Kraken learned that Friday night in a 1-0 defeat to Marc-Andre Fleury and the Minnesota Wild in which the Kraken's five-game winning streak was snapped. The Kraken will look to return to their winning ways when they host the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday night. Seattle also will try to get more traffic in front of the Jets' net after failing to do so Friday against the Wild. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Cardinals v. Rams UNDER 40 | Top | 27-17 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 56 m | Show |
Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams are only eight games removed from their Super Bowl victory. The Arizona Cardinals are just nine games removed from an 11-win season and a playoff appearance. Yet the stakes seem fairly high for these two struggling NFC West rivals in their second meeting of the new season, and it's because both realize they're running out of time to write a proper sequel to last year's successes. "We ain't got too much more room to keep losing now," said Donald, the Rams' seven-time All-Pro. "It's time to find a way to go on a run. Go week to week and just keep trying to stack up wins." The Rams (3-5) are two games under .500 for the first time in coach Sean McVay's career after losing four of their last five games. The Cardinals (3-6) have also lost four of five, and coach Kliff Kingsbury doesn't exactly have the same ironclad job security as McVay. After Los Angeles - which has won 11 of the last 12 meetings in this matchup - hosts Arizona at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, the loser will be in a formidable hole in last place in the division. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Lions v. Bears OVER 48.5 | Top | 31-30 | Win | 100 | 25 h 47 m | Show |
Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell started rattling off names when asked about Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields. It was an impressive list: Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, and Jalen Hurts. Campbell sees a little bit of each of them in Fields, and he'll get an up-close look when the Lions visit the Bears on Sunday. "Quarterback-driven runs, guard-tackle pulls, read the end, hand it off, these backs are running hard, they're downhill," he said. "And then, there's enough of the keepers off of it. There's enough misdirection to the receivers. And then, certainly his ability on third down, that's where they really got Miami was man, there's a number of third-and-8, third-and-10 ... there's an opening in there and he takes it and he's gone." The Bears (3-6) come in with five losses in the past six games. But the big story is Fields' improvement. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Texans v. Giants OVER 40.5 | Top | 16-24 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 40 m | Show |
After seeing the New York Giants get off to a great start under first-year coach Brian Daboll, Justin Ellis wanted to share some thoughts - and a warning - with his teammates. The 31-year-old defensive tackle is in his ninth NFL season and spent the last two-plus years with the Ravens and was part of their teams that went 14-2 and 11-5 and went to the playoffs. Known to his teammates as `Jelly,' he was also in Baltimore when they opened last season at 6-2 and finished 8-9, missing the postseason. It's something that's spot on as the Giants (6-2) come out of their bye week to face the Houston Texans (1-6-1) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Ellis said looking at the Texans' record and thinking it's going to be an easy game is a mistake. "You have to have the right mindset," Ellis said. "The one thing about the NFL is on any given Sunday, so you've got to come every Sunday. Every team has talent. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Saints v. Steelers UNDER 40 | Top | 10-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 34 m | Show |
Mike Tomlin is not ready to bail on 2022, even as the reality that at 2-6 the Pittsburgh Steelers have dug themselves a hole so deep it's difficult to imagine they dig out in time to be anything other than a spoiler down the stretch. Not that Tomlin wants to dwell on a first half that was Pittsburgh's worst since 2013. "The windshield component is the big picture for us as opposed to the rearview mirror," Tomlin said, later adding, "we can't worry about the things that are behind us. We'd better get focused on the things that are immediately in front of us." New Orleans isn't much better. The Saints are 3-6 heading into Sunday's visit to Pittsburgh after getting manhandled at home by Baltimore last Monday. Unlike the Steelers, however, New Orleans plays in the underwhelming NFC South and is very much in it in a division that entered mid-November without a team with a winning record. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Browns v. Dolphins OVER 49 | Top | 17-39 | Win | 100 | 24 h 28 m | Show |
Mike McDaniel believes playing in tight games can lead to more wins late in the season. Being involved in close contests, as his Miami Dolphins have all season, could give a team a competitive edge if they're able to learn from them. "It kind of snowballs for teams where you can be in tight games consecutively," the first-year Dolphins coach said. "And you can find yourself with the same result until you get yourself out of it either way." The Dolphins have played in five games decided by a touchdown or less. They've won them all. On Sunday, Miami will host the Cleveland Browns, who have struggled to win close games. Despite having the NFL's fourth-ranked offense behind a dominant rushing attack, the Browns have lost four of the five games they've played that were decided by a field goal or less. Now, they're on the outside of the AFC playoff picture with nine games left. "For us, it really does go back to a one-game season," Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. "One game, this one is important, the next one is going to be important and so on. For us, we totally understand where we are, but we have to focus on going 1-0 down against a very, very good football team on the road." The Browns have only been in three double-digit games. The most recent was their surprising 32-13 blowout of the Bengals. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Utah State v. Hawaii +11.5 | Top | 41-34 | Win | 100 | 30 h 26 m | Show |
Hawaii was on the road in their last game and had one to forget in a 55-13 blowout loss at the hands of Fresno State. They were down 31-0 at the half, were outgained 572 yards to 362 yards, and gave up 245 rushing yards. The Rainbow Warriors did not cover the spread despite being a 27.5-point underdog and they had covered in their previous four games. Even though they only have one MWC win this season they have covered six of their last seven conference games. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Utah State v. Hawaii UNDER 54 | Top | 41-34 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 57 m | Show |
Hawaii is only averaging 17.8 ppg while giving up an average of 35.8 ppg. On offense, they do not rank in the top 91 in the nation in passing or rushing yards per game. Sophomore QB Brayden Schager (1,610 yards 7 TD 7 INT) ranks 118th in the nation in QBR but has passed for over 200 yards in each of the last two games where he has three TD and only one INT. The Rainbow Warriors have four players with over 200 receiving yards led by Zion Bowens (289 3 TD) but he does not have more than 35 receiving yards in any of the last three games. Dedrick Parson and Tylan Hines have combined for over 1,000 rushing yards this season and Hines has 182 rushing yards in the last two games. Look for Hawaii to run the ball often in this game, as Utah State has one of the best pass defenses in the nation |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Arizona v. UCLA -19.5 | Top | 34-28 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 7 m | Show |
No. 12 UCLA can run the ball, and Arizona has trouble stopping it. The teams' Saturday night matchup in Pasadena, Calif., might not get more complicated than that. The Bruins (8-1, 5-1 Pac-12) are seventh nationally and first in the conference in rushing yards per game (242.3), and they are coming off a 402-yard performance on the ground in a 50-36 road win over Arizona State, despite star running back Zach Charbonnet being unavailable due to injury. Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson contributed 120 rushing yards, Kazmeir Allen rushed for 137 and Keegan Jones added 98. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Presbyterian v. East Carolina -6.5 | Top | 57-77 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show |
The Blue Hose will be seeking to avenge the 76-56 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played on Dec. 22 of 2016. Presbyterian received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 70-58 to The Citadel Bulldogs. Meanwhile, things were close when East Carolina and the Mercer Bears clashed on Tuesday, but the Pirates ultimately edged out the opposition 77-75. Brandon Johnson and Javon Small were among the main playmakers for East Carolina as the former had 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and the latter had 23 points and five assists. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | New Mexico +21.5 v. Air Force | Top | 3-35 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 4 m | Show |
It’s a battle of Mountain West opponents from the aptly named Mountain Division when New Mexico plays the Air Force. The Lobos (2-7, 0-5) dropped their sixth straight game, a 27-10 loss to Utah State and a loss ATS as 14.5 underdogs. The Falcons (6-3, 2-3) took the Commanders’ Classic, 13-7, over Army last week, but for their second straight loss, ATS barely missed as -7 favorites. Over three touchdowns is too much for a Falcons team that might be looking ahead. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | UL-Monroe v. Georgia State -13.5 | Top | 31-28 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 25 m | Show |
Louisiana Monroe is one of the worst defensive teams in the country, giving up 36.8 points per game. They gave up 30 points in their last game and will need to do a better job if they want to stay within the number. |

11-12-22 | Vanderbilt +17.5 v. Kentucky | Top | 24-21 | Win | 100 | 19 h 9 m | Show |
If attaining bowl eligibility with last weekend's win over Missouri wasn't enough to keep complacency from becoming an issue with Kentucky, the Wildcats got another boost with Tuesday night's release of the latest College Football Playoff rankings. The Wildcats (6-3, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) will take a No. 24 CFP ranking into Saturday afternoon's matchup with Vanderbilt in Lexington, Ky. It is the second consecutive season the Wildcats have earned a spot in the CFP's Top 25. They finished No. 22 in last season's final pre-bowl poll. At his weekly media conference earlier in the day, coach Mark Stoops talked about the importance of a strong finish for his team. "With three games left in November, we still have to be relentless in our improvement," Stoops said. "We've got to finish strong. That old saying 'remember November' is no joke. You want to remember how you finish." The Wildcats will be going for their 40th win in the last five seasons when they open a three-game homestand against the Commodores (3-6, 0-5). Matchups against Georgia and Louisville will follow. An improbable sweep of all three would put the Wildcats in position for a second consecutive 10-win season, including a bowl game. |

11-12-22 | Indiana v. Ohio State OVER 60.5 | Top | 14-56 | Win | 100 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
Ohio State looks to regain its swagger on offense when the No. 2 Buckeyes host Indiana on Saturday in Columbus. After enduring torrential rain and a wind averaging nearly 30 mph to win 21-7 at Northwestern last week, the Buckeyes (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) want to take their frustrations out on the downtrodden Hoosiers (3-6, 1-5), who have lost six in a row. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday the running game remains a concern even though the Buckeyes produced 207 rushing yards vs. Northwestern after managing a combined 164 yards in the previous two games vs. Iowa and Penn State. The Buckeyes were stuffed several times on short-yardage situations at Northwestern, including on third- and fourth-down needing a yard in the first quarter when Miyan Williams had the two runs for no yards. |

11-11-22 | Fresno State -9.5 v. UNLV | Top | 37-30 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 0 m | Show |
The Fresno State Bulldogs will try to continue their dominance over the UNLV Rebels when the teams meet in a Mountain West Conference game on Friday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Bulldogs have won the last four matchups against the Rebels. The average score over those four games has been 46-22. Fresno State last lost to UNLV in October 2017, losing 26-16. The Bulldogs (5-4, 4-1 in MWC) enter this season's game tied atop the West Division. The Rebels (4-5, 2-3), who have lost four in a row, are in fourth place. Simply put, UNLV has run out of gas. |

11-11-22 | Colorado v. USC -34 | Top | 17-55 | Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show |
The USC defense has excelled at generating turnovers, boasting 18 through nine games. Coupled with Williams' savvy play at quarterback -- he has thrown 28 touchdown passes against one interception -- the Trojans enjoy the nation's best turnover margin at plus-16 for the season. Colorado (1-8, 1-5) will try to jump-start its struggling offense, which ranks worst among all Power Five conference teams and ahead of only Colorado State and Massachusetts in FBS scoring averages. The Buffs are producing 15.6 points per game, backsliding after a promising, 34-point effort in an Oct. 29 loss to Arizona State. Colorado managed 10 points in a 39-point loss to Oregon last week. The Buffs have never beaten USC in program history, a streak encompassing 15 games and dating back to 1927. Since Colorado joined the Pac-12 in 2011, the Trojans have won the 10 meetings by an average of 17.4 points per game -- though three of the last six were decided by four points or fewer. |

11-11-22 | Mississippi State v. Akron +6.5 | Top | 73-54 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 21 m | Show |
Akron (1-0) carries plenty of momentum into Friday's dustup as well after an 81-80 overtime win at home over South Dakota State in its season opener. Greg Tribble canned the game-winning free throw with 2.4 seconds left in the extra period to lift the Zips to the victory on Monday. Xavier Castaneda led Akron with a career-high 31 points that included an 8-of-12 showing from 3-point range. Enrique Freeman added 23 points and 14 rebounds and Trendon Hankerson scored 11 points in the win. |

11-11-22 | Lightning v. Capitals UNDER 6 | Top | 1-5 | Push | 0 | 9 h 55 m | Show |
Washington will be looking to rebound from Wednesday night's 4-1 home loss against Metropolitan Division foe Pittsburgh. The Penguins tallied three times in the second period en route to snapping their seven-game winless streak (0-6-1). With two games coming up against the fast-breaking Lightning, Capitals coach Peter Laviolette said the style of play the Penguins presented slowed his team down. |

11-11-22 | Duquesne v. Kentucky -17.5 | Top | 52-77 | Win | 100 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
No. 4 Kentucky likely will be without All-American Oscar Tshiebwe again when they host Duquesne on Friday in Lexington, Ky. Tshiebwe, the reigning Naismith Award and Associated Press Player of the Year, sat out Monday's season-opening, 95-63 win over visiting Howard to continue his recovery from minor knee surgery on Oct. 13. "If he wants to play Friday, I'm going to have to work him out myself and see," Kentucky coach John Calipari said. "If I did play him, he would probably play 10 or 15 minutes, just to get his legs under him." |

11-11-22 | Belmont +9.5 v. Furman | Top | 74-89 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 14 m | Show |
Let's see if the Bruins are better than last season when facing teams above .500 ATS, after dropping five of their last six last season. |

11-10-22 | Blackhawks +1.5 v. Kings | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 17 h 23 m | Show |
The Chicago Blackhawks have not had much success in their past six games, but they did beat the Los Angeles Kings in that span. The Blackhawks will try to turn results around against the Kings once again on Thursday night at Los Angeles. Chicago beat the visiting Kings 2-1 in overtime on Nov. 3, ending a four-game winless streak. Chicago was shut out for the second time this season on Saturday, giving up three power-play goals in a 4-0 loss against the Winnipeg Jets to start the current three-game trip. The loss dropped the Blackhawks to 1-3-2 in their past six games, watering down their impressive 4-2-0 start to the season. The Blackhawks returned to Chicago after the loss to Winnipeg and held a long practice on Tuesday, looking to improve on their offensive zone play. |
