11-20-22 | Chiefs v. Chargers UNDER 52 | 30-27 | Loss | -107 | 28 h 1 m | Show
Fans usually expect a passing duel when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs face Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. That might not be the case on Sunday night, with both teams unsure of who will line up at wide receiver. The Chiefs (7-2) won't have Mecole Hardman and likely will be missing JuJu Smith-Schuster for the prime-time showdown. Hardman was placed on injured reserve Thursday with an abdominal injury. Smith-Schuster remains in concussion protocol after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit in last week's win over Jacksonville. Fellow receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been dealing with an illness. The Chargers (5-4) can empathize. Keenan Allen has played in only two games due to a nagging left hamstring strain, and Mike Williams was out the last two weeks with a high right ankle sprain. Allen and Williams returned to practice this week, but both have taken part only in individual drills and are questionable. Smith-Schuster, Hardman and Valdes-Scantling have 97 of the Chiefs' 245 receptions. If they can't play, Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore and Justin Watson can expect bigger roles. Toney, acquired from the New York Giants on Oct. 30, had four receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown last Sunday against the Jaguars. |

11-20-22 | Nuggets v. Mavs UNDER 216.5 | 98-97 | Win | 100 | 9 h 3 m | Show
The Dallas Mavericks had so much fun playing the visiting Denver Nuggets on Friday night that they are happy to do it again on Sunday. Dallas cruised to a 28-point win in the first of two games in three days with Denver, but it comes with a bit of an asterisk. The Nuggets played without three starters, including two-time MVP Nikola Jokic, and it showed against the Mavericks. Luka Doncic notched his fourth triple-double of the season (33 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) and the 50th of his career after sitting out a game for rest, and it looked easy for him and his teammates. Dallas led by as many as 31 against a short-handed Denver squad. "It's great. It feels amazing," Doncic said. "It's a pleasure. I'm just really glad that I'm here and doing this." It doesn't look like the Nuggets will have Jokic back for the rematch. Coach Michael Malone said Friday night Jokic will remain in health and safety protocols for the third straight game, as will Jamal Murray, who missed Friday's game. In addition to Michael Porter Jr., the only other starter with a chance to play is Aaron Gordon, who has missed the past two games with a non-COVID illness. |

11-20-22 | Kentucky v. Gonzaga UNDER 156 | 72-88 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Instead of a battle of unbeaten, a high-profile team will deal with losing a second time this season when No. 4 Kentucky visits No. 2 Gonzaga on Sunday evening at Spokane, Wash. The Wildcats (3-1) have an 86-77 double-overtime loss to Michigan State on the ledger while the Bulldogs (2-1) were routed 93-74 by No. 11 Texas on Wednesday in Austin. Sunday's game pits last year's national player of the year in Kentucky big man Oscar Tshiebwe against fellow preseason All-American Drew Timme of the Zags. The game will be played at the Spokane Arena -- which seats more than 12,000 -- rather than Gonzaga's on-campus highly rambunctious "Kennel." No matter the venue, Gonzaga will be looking to shore up its ball-handling as it allowed 20 turnovers leading to 27 Texas points in the one-sided loss. Until they do, I'm going under the total. |
11-20-22 | Ohio v. Michigan UNDER 149 | 66-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show
Call it a reality check or a lesson on a season's ups and downs. Michigan clobbered Pittsburgh by 31 points in the Legends Classic in New York on Wednesday. But in the championship game, the 20th-ranked Wolverines were thrashed by Arizona State, 87-62, on Thursday. The Wolverines (3-1) will play their third game in five nights when they host Ohio (1-2) on Sunday. Michigan shot 33.9 percent from the field and made just 4 of 22 3-point attempts against the unranked Sun Devils. Arizona State did whatever it wanted against the Wolverines' defense, shooting 60.4 percent and making 11 of 19 3-point tries. The Wolverines were caught flat-footed from the start, as they never led. "They looked forward to the matchup. You can just tell with the way the game started," coach Juwan Howard said. "I will say this, I didn't do a really good job of preparing our guys. I'll take full responsibility for this one. Every game is a teachable moment. When you win, you learn. When you lose, you learn. We're going to learn from this and we're going to grow from this game." In the previous game, the Wolverines shot 58.3 percent from the field and had four players in double figures. Expect the Wolverines ready to play defense in this one. |

11-20-22 | Penguins v. Blackhawks UNDER 6.5 | 5-3 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 60 m | Show
The Chicago Blackhawks felt bamboozled for much of Saturday's 6-1 road loss to the Boston Bruins. "It almost looked like they were running a bit of a power play on some of our five-on-five (plays)," Chicago defenseman Connor Murphy said. "That can't happen." While a back-to-back would seem to be the opposite of a remedy for that problem, the Blackhawks at least know they're not facing the surging Bruins on Sunday. Instead, it's the Pittsburgh Penguins who will visit the Windy City on the heels of Saturday's 3-0 road shutout of the Winnipeg Jets. Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson said the team "got caught just standing and watching quite a bit" as Boston matched an NHL record with its 11th successive victory at home to open the season. Chicago has lost three straight and nine of 11 after being outshot by the Bruins 43-18. "If you work and compete, there's no reason in this league you can't compete with a team like that," Richardson said. "We've got to realize that quickly and not be starstruck." While the Penguins haven't enjoyed the sizzling start Boston has had, they still boast many of the same marquee names that have steered the franchise for long stretches. |
11-20-22 | Hornets v. Wizards UNDER 221 | Top | 102-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards are coming off Friday night games that had something in common, as neither was decided in regulation. From there, there were different routes. So expect the Wizards to be in a little better shape when the teams meet Sunday night in Washington. The Wizards beat the visiting Miami Heat 107-106 in overtime for their fifth victory in their last six games. The Hornets have to search for any positives, particularly after a bizarre double-overtime loss at Cleveland. Charlotte came back from 10 down in the final 45 seconds of regulation and then was in a position to win in the first overtime before ultimately suffering its 10th loss in the last 11 games. "You have to be able to handle disappointment, frustration, and success and move on," Hornets coach Steve Clifford said. "There's a lot to learn from (a game like that)." Washington's stretch of positive results began with a 108-100 victory Nov. 7 at Charlotte. |
11-20-22 | Panthers v. Blue Jackets UNDER 6.5 | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 2 m | Show
The Florida Panthers will aim to avoid a three-game winless skid on Sunday evening when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets. Florida split the first four contests of its five-game homestand before taking a 5-4 shootout loss to the Calgary Flames on Saturday, which followed a 6-4 setback to the Dallas Stars. The Panthers erased an early two-goal deficit as well as a pair of one-goal margins before falling to the Flames. "We always have good moments in the game and bad moments. We keep learning," Florida captain Aleksander Barkov said. "It's a long season. We've just got to keep our heads up and keep learning from those moments. It was a good point (Saturday). Of course, we wanted two, but we didn't get it (Saturday). We have a new chance (Sunday)." Matthew Tkachuk scored against his former team to forge a 4-4 tie with 6:14 remaining in regulation. Tkachuk acknowledged that he viewed Saturday's contest as just another game, which makes a fair amount of sense since he was the one who requested to be traded from Calgary prior to the deal coming to fruition. |
11-20-22 | VCU v. Memphis UNDER 137.5 | 47-62 | Win | 100 | 6 h 4 m | Show
The Rams have not been kind to wallets so far, going 0-3-1 ATS, all as favorites.  In their win over Pitt, they trailed with just two minutes remaining before regaining the lead and holding on. They shot just 33.3% from the field in the first half before cleaning things up and going 48% in the second half. The Rams also had 12 steals in the game and 43 total on the season for a 10.8 per-game average that is tied for 33rd in the country.   They’ve got a nice boost from a pair of Michigan transfers; Brandon Johns Jr. and Zeb Jackson. The duo combined for 34 points in the win over Pitt. On the season Johns leads the team with 14 points per game average, flanked by 6 rebounds per game. Jackson is averaging 8.8 points per game in 19.3 minutes of play, to go along with 1.5 steals per game.  |
11-20-22 | East Tennessee State v. Tennessee Tech UNDER 145.5 | 62-69 | Win | 100 | 5 h 1 m | Show
The Buccaneers have managed to look disinterested against teams they should be superior to. That trend has dated back to last season. The Golden Eagles have started to fall into an under pattern (4-1). |
11-19-22 | Jazz v. Blazers UNDER 228 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 52 m | Show |
The Utah Jazz doesn't have much time to celebrate a thrilling 134-133 home win on Friday over the Phoenix Suns, a team that many consider to be the Western Conference favorite this season. A night after overcoming a 49-point performance by the Suns' Devin Booker, the Jazz visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night for another showdown with a team atop the early conference standings. The winner between the Blazers (10-5) and the Jazz (11-6) will own the best record in the West, for whatever that's worth at this point in the season. That's especially surprising, considering the two teams are winning at a higher rate than expected. As noted by The Oregonian, the Blazers' over/under for wins was 40.5 coming into the season. Utah, which traded away Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, had much lower outside expectations, including an over/under of 23.5 victories. Utah's chances of winning will be much greater if Lauri Markkanen, the surprising team's surprising All-Star candidate, has another outing like the one he produced Friday when he scored a career-high 38 points. |
11-19-22 | USC v. UCLA UNDER 76.5 | 48-45 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 22 m | Show
Many fans and other observers thought Dorian Thompson-Robinson's performance against Southern California last year was an emphatic final chapter to his UCLA career. It was far from it. Thompson-Robinson decided to return for a fifth season in Westwood because he still had plenty to prove. His encore year and Caleb Williams' arrival after Lincoln Riley was hired at USC set the stage for one of the best college football seasons in Los Angeles since 2005. It has led to Saturday's much-anticipated Crosstown Showdown as the No. 16 Bruins (8-2, 5-2 Pac-12) host the seventh-ranked Trojans (9-1, 7-1). The game sold out even after UCLA raised the capacity at the Rose Bowl to nearly 71,000. The game's 92nd edition will also feature a milestone. It is the first in which both LA schools are led by a Black quarterback. "It's very rare in 2022 when you can sit and be witness to history like that. And certainly, I think we're all going to be lucky for that," said Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt. "I think the two are going to put on an absolute show. I would be shocked if this game wasn't one of the higher-scoring games we've seen this year." |
11-19-22 | Islanders v. Stars UNDER 6 | 2-5 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 4 m | Show
The Islanders, who also have 22 points, are 5-4-0 on the road, and look to rebound from Thursday's 5-4 loss at Nashville. They fell behind 3-1 after the first period and trailed 4-1 before making it a one-goal game late. New York has been outscored 12-9 in the first period this season but has compensated for that by owning a 30-16 goal advantage in the third. "We just have to be ready to go from the start in Dallas, and build on the last 30 minutes against the Predators," Islanders forward Noah Dobson said. New York is 9-3-0 since Oct. 26 and has not dropped back-to-back games since losing three in a row from Oct. 20-23. |
11-19-22 | Lightning v. Predators UNDER 6 | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 7 m | Show
The Lightning look to extend a recent run of dominance over the Predators as they meet for the first time in 2022-23. The reigning three-time Eastern Conference champs have won nine of the last 11 matchups and swept last season's series after Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos each had a goal and two assists in a 6-2 rout on April 23.
11-19-22 | Seattle University v. Portland UNDER 150.5 | 80-68 | Win | 100 | 8 h 16 m | Show
Under is 6-2 in Redhawks' last 8 overall and 4-1 in Redhawks' last 5 games following a straight-up win. Portland has been an over machine but this number is a little too rich for me. |
11-19-22 | Wolves v. 76ers UNDER 217.5 | 112-109 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 10 m | Show
The Philadelphia 76ers aim to remain perfect on their five-game homestand on Saturday, playing the second leg of a back-to-back when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves. Philadelphia won for the fourth time in the past five games, and the third time on the homestand, when it downed the Milwaukee Bucks 110-102 on Friday. Joel Embiid went for 32 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to power the Sixers to a second-half comeback. Shake Milton came off the Philadelphia bench to score 15 points and dish six assists. He finished with a game-high plus-minus of plus-17, stepping up after starter Tyrese Maxey exited the game due to a left foot injury. |
11-19-22 | Magic v. Pacers UNDER 227.5 | 113-114 | Win | 100 | 8 h 44 m | Show
Two rebuilding teams riding high after impressive wins meet on Saturday when the Orlando Magic face the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis. Orlando held on for a 108-107 win over the host Chicago Bulls on Friday, while Indiana rallied from an early deficit to beat the host Houston Rockets 99-91 for its third straight victory. Wendell Carter Jr. led Orlando with 21 points, and Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner scored 20 apiece. Bol Bol added 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Magic snapped a two-game skid. Orlando sits near the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 5-11 record, but the team has registered notable victories over the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns. The Friday victory over Chicago marked another step forward for the Magic, who led by 19 in the third quarter before falling behind in the final minute. Suggs' 3-pointer with five seconds left gave Orlando its first win in seven road games this season. |
11-19-22 | Eastern Michigan v. Oakland UNDER 161 | 90-92 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 24 m | Show
Oakland has struggled after winning their season-opener against Defiance, 92-27. The Golden Grizzlies have lost 3 straight games, losing to Bowling Green, Oklahoma State, and Toledo. 2 of Oakland's last 3 losses were by 20 points or more. This team is struggling right now. Oakland entered the season having lost 2 key players from last year, Jamal Cain and Micah Parrish. The team relied on the transfer portal to try and fill those losses. |
11-19-22 | Boston College v. Notre Dame UNDER 43.5 | Top | 0-44 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 21 m | Show |
No. 18 Notre Dame will look to extend a four-game winning streak and continue its dominance in the annual Holy War rivalry game against Boston College on Saturday in South Bend, Ind. The Fighting Irish (7-3) have rebounded well after an 0-2 start. Offensively, things have clicked with Notre Dame scoring at least 35 points in each contest of the streak, including a 35-32 win last weekend against Navy. Boston College (3-7) has had a largely forgettable season but made a statement with a 21-20 upset win at then No. 16 NC State last Saturday. Emmett Morehead threw a 2-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds remaining to Joseph Griffin Jr. to clinch Boston College's first win over a Top 25 team in eight years. To get another upset, the Eagles will have to reverse their difficult history against Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish have won eight straight in the rivalry. In each of the past three meetings, they scored at least 40 points and each game was decided by at least two touchdowns. The last time Boston College beat Notre Dame came on Nov. 8, 2008, a 17-0 Eagles victory. |
11-19-22 | Bowling Green v. St Bonaventure UNDER 145 | 68-81 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 21 m | Show
The Falcons (2-1) were beaten 80-71 on Tuesday night by Wright State (2-1), despite the best efforts of BGSU's Leon Ayers III, who scored 22 points and had six rebounds. Assisting Ayers for Bowling Green was Samari Curtis with 16 points, five assists, and four steals. Also pitching in was Rashaun Agee with 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Wright State came off strong and really never let up - they led Bowling Green at the half, 32-27, and ran ahead of Bowling Green by four in the final half. Bowling Green has a field goal percentage in this game of 29.1%. Their 3-point shot success is a little low at 20.8%. Rebounds collected for BGU totaled in at 36, 12 of which were offensive. The Falcons also had nine assists, 11 steals, and two blocks. BGSU's free throw percentage was 75% successful. |
11-19-22 | Devils v. Senators UNDER 6.5 | 5-1 | Win | 110 | 1 h 11 m | Show
The New Jersey Devils are playing so well that even none of their three championship teams started this quickly. Off to their best 17-game start in franchise history, the Devils seek their 12th straight win Saturday afternoon when they visit the Ottawa Senators. The Devils are on their second-longest winning streak in team history, matching an 11-game run they enjoyed from March 28 to April 18, 2006. New Jersey is two away from matching the longest run in team history set from Feb. 26 to March 23, 2001. New Jersey also is 14-1 in its past 15 games after dropping its first two contests to Philadelphia and Detroit. The Devils outscored opponents 19-5 in the first four games of the streak and since then they have won five one-goal games, including three in overtime. The latest was Thursday's 3-2 thriller in Toronto when Jack Hughes set up Yegor Sharangovich's game-winner 57 seconds into overtime. Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt also scored for the Devils while Vitek Vanecek won his eighth straight game by making 25 saves. |
11-19-22 | Maryland v. St. Louis UNDER 145.5 | Top | 95-67 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 27 m | Show |
The Terrapins are looking to extend their three-game winning streak to four games when they host the Billikens. In their last outing, Maryland earned a 76-52 win over the Binghamton Bearcats. As a team, they shot 48.4% from the field and earned 42 rebounds, 14 assists, eight steals, and four blocks. Julian Reese (19 PTS, 7 REB, 2, BLK, 88.8% FG) and Hakim Hart (13 PTS, 8 REB, 2 STL, 50% FG) led the Terrapins. Maryland has a 211th-ranked scoring offense this season, averaging 72.7 points per game. Their scoring defense is ranked 10th, surrendering just 50.7 points per game. The Terrapins currently have a scoring margin of 22 which puts them at 51st. |
11-19-22 | Illinois v. Michigan UNDER 42 | Top | 17-19 | Win | 100 | 1 h 47 m | Show |
The last time Michigan went 12-0, Brian Griese was starting under center, a young Tom Brady had only 15 pass attempts in his sophomore season and Charles Woodson was headlining a defense allowing 9.5 points per game. That was back in 1997, but the third-ranked Wolverines find themselves in a position to replicate that record. First, they'll have to get past No. 21 Illinois on Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich. Michigan (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) maintained its pristine record, coasting to a 34-3 victory against Nebraska last week. J.J. McCarthy completed 8 of 17 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns and Blake Corum added a score on the ground to go along with 162 rushing yards on 28 carries. "Just feel great. Just so appreciative of everybody, really -- players, coaches, staff, all the hard work that's gone in," Wolverines coach John Harbaugh said. "The mission continues. It's a happy mission. ... Keep it rolling, keep it going, and guys are a joy to be around. Excited about the matchup that we have this week." |
11-17-22 | St. Thomas v. Montana OVER 138 | 59-78 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 29 m | Show
Montana has allowed their opponents to shoot 64.20% from the floor on average, which is the 363rd-highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. |
11-17-22 | Portland v. Air Force OVER 138 | 64-51 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 45 m | Show
The Air Force Falcons will stay at home another game and welcome the Portland Pilots at 9 p.m. ET Nov. 17 at Clune Arena. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Air Force now faces the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds. It was close but no cigar for the Falcons as they fell 73-69 to the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions on Monday. What made the loss an especially bitter pill for Air Force to swallow was that they had been favored by 10.5 points coming into the game. Meanwhile, the Pilots received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 77-65 to the Kent State Golden Flashes. |
11-17-22 | Central Michigan v. Minnesota OVER 135.5 | Top | 60-68 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
Minnesota has won all four games all-time in the series and has won by an average score of 78 to 58.75 while going 3-0-1 ATS in those matchups. The Golden Gophers have won the last three games by an average score of 78.33 to 57.33 while going 3-0 ATS in those contests. |
11-17-22 | Titans v. Packers UNDER 41 | Top | 27-17 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 52 m | Show |
Aaron Rodgers appreciates the way the Tennessee Titans have turned their season around. The reigning MVP quarterback hopes his Green Bay Packers can dig themselves out of an even bigger hole than Tennessee. First, the Packers must find a way to cool off those AFC South-leading Titans at Lambeau Field on Thursday night. "They lost their first two games, and I think just like happens in this league, there's probably overreactions and what the hell's going on and what are we going to do," Rodgers said. "And I think they rattled off like five or six wins in a row and kind of quieted everybody up." The Titans (6-3) bounced back from that 0-2 start by winning six of their next seven, including five in a row. Derrick Henry has rushed for 923 yards, 8 behind NFL leader Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants. Green Bay (4-6) had lost five straight - its longest skid since 2008 - before rallying from a 14-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-28 in overtime on Sunday. |
11-17-22 | Flames v. Lightning UNDER 6.5 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 4 h 46 m | Show
It took a tough stretch of six games, but the Calgary Flames' offense finally found itself Monday night at home against the Los Angeles Kings in a six-goal outburst. The Western Conference club will need that type of outing Thursday night when it embarks on a season-long six-game road trip that starts on Florida's Gulf Coast. The Flames will face the Tampa Bay Lightning, with both teams owning two-game winning streaks. Luckily for Calgary, left winger Jonathan Huberdeau -- whose career for the Pacific Division team has started slowly and seen him slide from line to line -- scored the first goal of the game while playing with his new linemates. A 613-point producer for the Florida Panthers across 10 seasons, Huberdeau was slotted onto the third line against the Kings beside Mikael Backlund and Trevor Lewis. In the opening frame, he wheeled around the top of the right circle, took a pass in the slot from Rasmus Andersson, and put home just his second marker so far. |
11-17-22 | Austin Peay v. South Florida OVER 124 | 62-60 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 29 m | Show
South Florida is 10th worst in college basketball in points per game, with only 62.3 on average. The Governors have experienced some struggles of their own as they have only been able to knock down 39.20% percent of their shots, which is the 21st lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. When we see these trends collide, we almost always go in the opposite direction. |
11-17-22 | Wichita State v. Richmond OVER 131.5 | 56-53 | Loss | -115 | 4 h 3 m | Show
The Monday morning film session for the Wichita State men’s basketball team offered some hard truths about the effort level in a 66-57 loss to Alcorn State at Koch Arena over the weekend. No matter how much the players may have wanted to erase the loss from memory, head coach Isaac Brown believes the path forward for the Shockers is to learn from their mistakes. There was no skipping over the bad plays, no protecting the egos of starters. The players had to sit there and watch their mistakes and their lack of effort at times over and over and over again. Anticipate a much better offensive effort tonight. |
11-17-22 | North Dakota State v. Indiana State UNDER 151 | 75-101 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 54 m | Show
Relative to other Division 1 programs, North Dakota State plays at one of the slowest paces in the country. The Bison average just 66.9 possessions per game, ranked 321st in D1 men’s hoops. While only two of NDSU’s eight games thus far have gone Over the total, the inverse of that record denotes Indiana State’s record to the Over. The Sycamores average over six more possessions per game than the Bison at 72.4. |
11-17-22 | Nebraska v. St. John's UNDER 160 | 50-70 | Win | 100 | 6 h 6 m | Show
The Huskers come into this game at 2-0, but Nebraska hasn't been tested yet. The Huskers won both their first 2 games easily against weaker competition, beating Omaha and Maine. The Nebraska basketball program is entering year four under coach Fred Hoiberg, and the Huskers have been disappointing during his time there. The main issue Nebraska has under Hoiberg is with defense. This year the Huskers brought in defensive coach Adam Howard to switch the Nebraska defense to zone, and Hoiberg has recruited bigger players to fit the zone scheme. Nebraska's starting lineup this year will be senior Derrick Walker Jr., sophomore Wilhelm Breidenback, junior Juwan Gary, sophomore C.J. Wilcher, and senior Sam Griesel. Expect the Huskers to be much better on defense this afternoon. |
11-16-22 | San Francisco v. Fresno State OVER 132.5 | 67-60 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 58 m | Show
The University of San Fransisco is once again off to a good start and is seeking a second consecutive magical season. The Dons averaged 77.4 points and 37.9 rebounds last season. So far this season they have bested that by dropping in 79.3 points per game over their first three games. USF’s experienced offense starts with both guards, Khalil Shabazz and Tyrell Roberts. The duos are grad both students and team leaders. Shabazz leads the way in both scoring and rebounds for the Dons. He is averaging 15.7 points per game and 6.7 boards. Roberts is shooting 46.2% from behind the arc and is averaging 13 points per game himself. The Dons have averaged 41.7 rebounds over the first 3 games. It has been a demonstration of a team effort with four of the five starters grabbing over 5 rebounds each. Furthermore, they are currently out-rebounding their opponents by 12.4 rebounds per game. |

11-16-22 | Ball State v. Nebraska-Omaha OVER 143 | 71-61 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 42 m | Show
The Mavericks are now 1-2 while Ball State sits at 1-1. A couple last-season stats to keep an eye on: Nebraska Omaha has allowed their opponents to shoot 50% from the floor on average, which is the fifth highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. But Ball State ranks 32nd in college basketball when it comes to field goal percentage, with 44.20% on the season. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor. |
11-16-22 | Valparaiso v. Chicago State OVER 137.5 | 74-87 | Win | 100 | 5 h 10 m | Show
Another situation where it appears the books are baiting the public. The number looks daunting enough but our power rankings indicate that it should be higher. We smell a trap so we're taking the over in a game that should be well into the 140s. |
11-16-22 | Sabres v. Senators UNDER 7 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 24 m | Show |
Two teams looking to snap out of funks will collide when the Buffalo Sabres visit the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night. Buffalo arrives in the Canadian capital amid a six-game losing streak after a 5-4 defeat against the visiting Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Sabres spotted the Canucks three two-goal leads in the contest, including a 2-0 gap before the midpoint of the opening period. Buffalo pulled to within a goal multiple times, only to have Vancouver respond. "Too easy out of the gate," Buffalo coach Don Granato said. "That is a big lesson that needs to be learned now. Period." The Sabres had won three straight before the slide began with a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Nov. 4. Buffalo has allowed 29 goals over the past six games and has trailed entering the third period four times during that stretch. |
11-16-22 | Hampton v. East Carolina OVER 144.5 | 73-82 | Win | 100 | 4 h 54 m | Show
Coach Edward Joyner Jr. has a very deliberate and fast pace of play. They were 42nd in pace a season ago and I expect them to push the ball again this year as they are currently 59th with 72 possessions per game. Unfortunately, the rapid pace of play hasn't translated into points yet. Expect their pace to help push the game over tonight. |
11-16-22 | Cincinnati v. Northern Kentucky OVER 136.5 | 51-64 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 49 m | Show
The Cincinnati Bearcats have been an absolutely dominant program to begin the season as they are a perfect 3-0 to begin the season. They are doing incredibly on the offensive side of the floor as they are dominating with 84.7 points on 46.9 percent from the field. They have a dominant scorer as senior guard David DeJulius is 33rd in the nation right now with 21.3 points while also averaging 1.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and two steals. He has been shooting incredibly well as he is making 56.1 percent from the floor, 70 percent from beyond the arc, and 73.3 percent from the free-throw percentage. |
11-16-22 | Eastern Illinois v. Ohio State OVER 132.5 | 43-65 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 42 m | Show
The Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball team has had a hot start to the season, emerging with a pair of blowout wins in their first week of play. Now, the Buckeyes look to finish working out the kinks against Eastern Illinois before traveling to the Maui Invitational and facing fierce competition like San Diego State and Cincinnati/Arizona (and more!). Fortunately, those kinks seem to be few and far between in the early going. Most recently, the Buckeyes emerged with an 82-56 win over Charleston Southern last Thursday. While the Buccaneers scored the game’s opening points, that would be Charleston Southern’s only lead of the evening. Ohio State was up 46-22 by halftime and never looked back. |
11-16-22 | Charleston Southern v. Tulane UNDER 147.5 | 79-99 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 34 m | Show
Chicago State hs a tendency to slow the pace down after getting blown out in their previous game. We expect that to be the case again tonight. |
11-15-22 | Capitals v. Panthers UNDER 6.5 | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 52 m | Show |
Defenseman Aaron Ekblad and winger Matthew Tkachuk are back for the Florida Panthers. Next, the Panthers will try to get back on the winning track Tuesday night when they host the slumping Washington Capitals. Ekblad played on Saturday for the first time since he suffered a lower-body injury on Oct. 17. Tkachuk also returned Saturday but from a shorter absence as he had been suspended for two games for jabbing Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick with his stick. Despite the return of Ekblad and Tkachuk, the Panthers lost, 4-2, at home Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers. Despite missing those two games, Tkachuk still leads the Panthers in points (17) and assists (12). |
11-15-22 | Bowling Green v. Toledo OVER 50 | 42-35 | Win | 100 | 25 h 16 m | Show
Toledo features an effective and explosive offense. The Rockets have been able to consistently move up and down the field with ease through 10 games. They are third in the MAC in total offense (406.9) and rushing offense (182.6) but first in scoring (35.1). This unit has scored 35-plus in five games this season. Senior quarterback Matt McDonald is the signal-caller for the Falcons' offense. McDonald is an accurate passer with the ability to quickly scan the field. The California native can diagnose the coverage in a hurry and keep the ball out of harm's way. McDonald has tossed 2,027 passing yards with 17 passing touchdowns and just four interceptions. On Oct. 22, he went 18 of 20 for 253 yards and two passing touchdowns. |
11-15-22 | Rice v. Middle Tennessee OVER 146 | 46-81 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 6 m | Show
The trouble with Rice this year has been their inability to stop opponents. In their lone D1 game, they allowed Pepperdine to shoot nearly 63% from the field and 50% from deep. A silver lining, while Rice didn't get many stops, when they did they closed the possession and didn't allow many offensive rebounds. Pepperdine no doubt had something to play for, the Owls handed them a 19 point loss when these two teams played a season ago. For Rice to keep it competitive against the Blue Raiders, they will have to play more physical defense. |
11-15-22 | Ohio v. Ball State OVER 57 | 32-18 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 58 m | Show
The Bobcats can’t quite lock up the MAC East title with a win, but … They can realistically lock up the MAC East title with a win. They need to win and Bowling Green has to lose at Toledo. Otherwise, it comes down to next week’s matchup between the two for the division. For now, the high-powered passing game should be enough. The offense leads the MAC in yards and is second in scoring thanks to the high-powered air show that’s ripping through everyone. The Ball State pass defense is fine against attacks that don’t throw a ton, but the team is 0-4 against teams that go for 230 yards or more. Ohio has thrown for over 230 in seven games going 6-1 |
11-14-22 | Blues v. Avalanche UNDER 6.5 | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
The St. Louis Blues just ended the longest winning streak in the NHL this season, and now they are going after another one. St. Louis, which has won two straight after dropping eight in a row, beat red-hot Vegas on the road Saturday night to end the Golden Knights' nine-game winning streak. Now the Blues travel to face the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night at Denver. Colorado has won four in a row, which isn't quite what Vegas had done, but the reigning champions have started to string victories together. The Avalanche have a chance to sweep their three-game homestand before playing eight of their next 10 on the road. This will be the first time the Blues have visited Denver since losing in the second round of last year's Stanley Cup Playoffs in six games. Goaltender Jordan Binnington, who was knocked out of that series in the third game, is coming off a 34-save performance against Vegas. He made 22 saves in the third period of the 3-2 win. St. Louis is trying to get back to its level from four years ago, when it went on a surprising run to win the Stanley Cup. The eight-game skid -- all regulation losses -- negated a quick start to the year but head coach Craig Berube has seen signs of bouncing back after the Blues beat San Jose 5-3 and then the Golden Knights. |
11-14-22 | Commanders v. Eagles UNDER 43.5 | 32-21 | Loss | -110 | 34 h 26 m | Show
The World Series is over, and the Phillies had to settle for the NL pennant. The Union not only lost the MLS Cup final, but they also helped Philadelphia earn the dubious distinction of becoming the first city to lose two championships in one day. That leaves it to the Eagles to try to win the next championship for the city. And so far, coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts have been a winning combination for the Eagles, who are 8-0 for the first time in franchise history and the lone undefeated team in the NFL. But first, come the NFC East rematches. The Eagles play the Washington Commanders (4-5) on Monday night for a second time and the first since they roughed up former quarterback Carson Wentz in a 24-8 rout in September. Wentz is on injured reserve following surgery to repair a broken finger, and the Commanders turned to Taylor Heinicke to take his spot. Be it, Heinicke or Wentz, the oddsmakers don't care - the Eagles are favored by 10 1/2 points, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. |

11-13-22 | Nets v. Lakers OVER 218.5 | 103-116 | Win | 100 | 13 h 38 m | Show
Sharing the ball and reaping the rewards, the Brooklyn Nets are playing their best basketball of the season heading into a road matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. It will be the Nets' second game in downtown L.A. in consecutive days after they used a fourth-quarter surge Saturday afternoon to pull off a 110-95 victory over the Clippers. Brooklyn is now 4-1 since Kyrie Irving was given a team-imposed suspension. While Irving's original suspension was for at least five games for promoting an antisemitic film, then not denouncing the content when given a chance, Nets coach Jacque Vaughn said his guard will be out at least one more game on Sunday. Without Irving on the floor, the Nets appear to be trusting each other on offense, while staying connected on defense. Not one of Brooklyn's past five opponents has scored more than 96 points. |
11-13-22 | Chargers v. 49ers UNDER 45.5 | Top | 16-22 | Win | 100 | 32 h 4 m | Show |
San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan has been known as one of the NFL's most creative play-callers. The midseason addition of Christian McCaffrey has only expanded the possibilities for the 49ers, who now feature two of the game's most versatile players in McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel. McCaffrey is a former All-Pro running back who has caught more passes than all but 12 wide receivers since he entered the NFL five years ago. Samuel is a former All-Pro receiver who has more TD runs of at least 10 yards than all but one running back in the past two years. "It's just like so crazy how much firepower we have in this offense now, adding him to the team along with all the other guys that we have on our team," Samuel said. "It's going to be crazy. It's going to be hard to cover everybody out there. It will be real fun." The first defense that will have to contend with the dynamic duo will be the struggling Los Angeles Chargers (5-3), who head into Sunday night's showdown with the 49ers (4-4) having allowed the third-most points in the NFL and a league-worst six runs of at least 40 yards. |
11-13-22 | Cardinals v. Rams UNDER 40 | Top | 27-17 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 56 m | Show |
Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams are only eight games removed from their Super Bowl victory. The Arizona Cardinals are just nine games removed from an 11-win season and a playoff appearance. Yet the stakes seem fairly high for these two struggling NFC West rivals in their second meeting of the new season, and it's because both realize they're running out of time to write a proper sequel to last year's successes. "We ain't got too much more room to keep losing now," said Donald, the Rams' seven-time All-Pro. "It's time to find a way to go on a run. Go week to week and just keep trying to stack up wins." The Rams (3-5) are two games under .500 for the first time in coach Sean McVay's career after losing four of their last five games. The Cardinals (3-6) have also lost four of five, and coach Kliff Kingsbury doesn't exactly have the same ironclad job security as McVay. After Los Angeles - which has won 11 of the last 12 meetings in this matchup - hosts Arizona at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, the loser will be in a formidable hole in last place in the division. |
11-13-22 | Youngstown State v. Notre Dame UNDER 149.5 | 81-88 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 45 m | Show
Despite Notre Dame's status as a power conference school annually welcoming mid-major foes to Purcell Pavilion, there was nothing easy about the Fighting Irish's season-opening game against Radford on Thursday night. Head coach Mike Brey expects more of the same Sunday afternoon when Notre Dame is slated to host Youngstown State in South Bend, Ind. Notre Dame dodged an upset bid by Radford after Cormac Ryan's layup with 9.5 seconds left completed a comeback from a nine-point second-half deficit. That gave the Fighting Irish the lead for good in what ended up being a 79-76 win. |
11-13-22 | Lazio v. Juventus UNDER 2.5 | 0-3 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 59 m | Show
Juventus enters Sunday night’s finale for the 2022 calendar year in fourth place. That is thanks to the five-game winning streak that they’ve been able to put together over the last few weeks. That might not have been all that possible a few weeks ago, but combined with the fact that teams in front of Juventus have actually been dropping points, you’ve got a situation where Max Allegri’s squad is probably back in the top four earlier than many expected. |
11-13-22 | Lions v. Bears OVER 48.5 | Top | 31-30 | Win | 100 | 25 h 47 m | Show |
Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell started rattling off names when asked about Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields. It was an impressive list: Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, and Jalen Hurts. Campbell sees a little bit of each of them in Fields, and he'll get an up-close look when the Lions visit the Bears on Sunday. "Quarterback-driven runs, guard-tackle pulls, read the end, hand it off, these backs are running hard, they're downhill," he said. "And then, there's enough of the keepers off of it. There's enough misdirection to the receivers. And then, certainly his ability on third down, that's where they really got Miami was man, there's a number of third-and-8, third-and-10 ... there's an opening in there and he takes it and he's gone." The Bears (3-6) come in with five losses in the past six games. But the big story is Fields' improvement. |
11-13-22 | Texans v. Giants OVER 40.5 | Top | 16-24 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 40 m | Show |
After seeing the New York Giants get off to a great start under first-year coach Brian Daboll, Justin Ellis wanted to share some thoughts - and a warning - with his teammates. The 31-year-old defensive tackle is in his ninth NFL season and spent the last two-plus years with the Ravens and was part of their teams that went 14-2 and 11-5 and went to the playoffs. Known to his teammates as `Jelly,' he was also in Baltimore when they opened last season at 6-2 and finished 8-9, missing the postseason. It's something that's spot on as the Giants (6-2) come out of their bye week to face the Houston Texans (1-6-1) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Ellis said looking at the Texans' record and thinking it's going to be an easy game is a mistake. "You have to have the right mindset," Ellis said. "The one thing about the NFL is on any given Sunday, so you've got to come every Sunday. Every team has talent. |
11-13-22 | Saints v. Steelers UNDER 40 | Top | 10-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 34 m | Show |
Mike Tomlin is not ready to bail on 2022, even as the reality that at 2-6 the Pittsburgh Steelers have dug themselves a hole so deep it's difficult to imagine they dig out in time to be anything other than a spoiler down the stretch. Not that Tomlin wants to dwell on a first half that was Pittsburgh's worst since 2013. "The windshield component is the big picture for us as opposed to the rearview mirror," Tomlin said, later adding, "we can't worry about the things that are behind us. We'd better get focused on the things that are immediately in front of us." New Orleans isn't much better. The Saints are 3-6 heading into Sunday's visit to Pittsburgh after getting manhandled at home by Baltimore last Monday. Unlike the Steelers, however, New Orleans plays in the underwhelming NFC South and is very much in it in a division that entered mid-November without a team with a winning record. |
11-13-22 | Browns v. Dolphins OVER 49 | Top | 17-39 | Win | 100 | 24 h 28 m | Show |
Mike McDaniel believes playing in tight games can lead to more wins late in the season. Being involved in close contests, as his Miami Dolphins have all season, could give a team a competitive edge if they're able to learn from them. "It kind of snowballs for teams where you can be in tight games consecutively," the first-year Dolphins coach said. "And you can find yourself with the same result until you get yourself out of it either way." The Dolphins have played in five games decided by a touchdown or less. They've won them all. On Sunday, Miami will host the Cleveland Browns, who have struggled to win close games. Despite having the NFL's fourth-ranked offense behind a dominant rushing attack, the Browns have lost four of the five games they've played that were decided by a field goal or less. Now, they're on the outside of the AFC playoff picture with nine games left. "For us, it really does go back to a one-game season," Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. "One game, this one is important, the next one is going to be important and so on. For us, we totally understand where we are, but we have to focus on going 1-0 down against a very, very good football team on the road." The Browns have only been in three double-digit games. The most recent was their surprising 32-13 blowout of the Bengals. |
11-13-22 | Manchester United v. Fulham OVER 2.75 | 2-1 | Win | 50 | 3 h 37 m | Show
Manchester United are this afternoon away at Fulham in the final Premier League game before the mid-season break for the World Cup. Erik ten Hag’s side travels to Craven Cottage six points off the top four after they lost at Aston Villa last weekend and Newcastle and Tottenham both won on Saturday. United will not want to lose further ground in the race for the Champions League but they face a tough game against a Fulham side enjoying a good season under Marco Silva. The Cottagers suffered late penalty heartache when they lost 2-1 at Manchester City last weekend but can move above Chelsea into eighth place with a win. |
11-12-22 | Utah State v. Hawaii UNDER 54 | Top | 41-34 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 57 m | Show |
Hawaii is only averaging 17.8 ppg while giving up an average of 35.8 ppg. On offense, they do not rank in the top 91 in the nation in passing or rushing yards per game. Sophomore QB Brayden Schager (1,610 yards 7 TD 7 INT) ranks 118th in the nation in QBR but has passed for over 200 yards in each of the last two games where he has three TD and only one INT. The Rainbow Warriors have four players with over 200 receiving yards led by Zion Bowens (289 3 TD) but he does not have more than 35 receiving yards in any of the last three games. Dedrick Parson and Tylan Hines have combined for over 1,000 rushing yards this season and Hines has 182 rushing yards in the last two games. Look for Hawaii to run the ball often in this game, as Utah State has one of the best pass defenses in the nation |
11-12-22 | Maryland v. Penn State UNDER 57 | 0-30 | Win | 100 | 22 h 20 m | Show
Penn State has struggled on third down this year, only converting on 36.7% of its 120 attempts this season, the 11th-best clip in the Big Ten. If Maryland can create a good third-down defensive plan, the numbers play to its advantage. |
11-12-22 | Indiana v. Ohio State OVER 60.5 | Top | 14-56 | Win | 100 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
Ohio State looks to regain its swagger on offense when the No. 2 Buckeyes host Indiana on Saturday in Columbus. After enduring torrential rain and a wind averaging nearly 30 mph to win 21-7 at Northwestern last week, the Buckeyes (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) want to take their frustrations out on the downtrodden Hoosiers (3-6, 1-5), who have lost six in a row. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday the running game remains a concern even though the Buckeyes produced 207 rushing yards vs. Northwestern after managing a combined 164 yards in the previous two games vs. Iowa and Penn State. The Buckeyes were stuffed several times on short-yardage situations at Northwestern, including on third- and fourth-down needing a yard in the first quarter when Miyan Williams had the two runs for no yards. |
11-12-22 | Pittsburgh v. Virginia OVER 41 | 37-7 | Win | 100 | 19 h 45 m | Show
The Panthers rank in the middle of the pack of the ACC in both scoring offense (8th with 29.2 points per game) and total offense (7th with 401.4 yards per game) and a lot of their success this season has come from their ground game. Pitt ranks 4th in the ACC with 179.8 rushing yards per game, mostly powered by Israel Abanikanda, one of the most dynamic running backs in all of college football. Abanikanda is the ACC's leading rusher at 135.8 rushing yards per game - the next-best rusher on the list averages less than 90 yards per contest. He is the only ACC tailback to eclipse the 1,000-yard rushing mark so far this season, amassing 1,086 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. Needless to say, UVA's defense will have to have 11 sets of eyes on Pitt's star running back whenever he is on the field. |
11-11-22 | Cavs v. Warriors UNDER 232 | 101-106 | Win | 100 | 12 h 12 m | Show
Stephen Curry shot the Golden State Warriors out of a dismal five-game skid and now looks to lead the club to consecutive wins for the first time this season when they face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night in San Francisco. The Warriors have defeated Cleveland in each of the past 10 regular-season meetings. Curry was a scintillating 17 of 24 from the field while scoring a season-high 47 points on Monday to help the Warriors end an unusual -- for them -- long slide. He splashed in seven 3-pointers in the 116-113 win over the Sacramento Kings to help Golden State improve to 4-7. |
11-11-22 | Wild v. Seattle Kraken UNDER 6.5 | 1-0 | Win | 100 | 12 h 50 m | Show
Kirill Kaprizov had something to prove. A night after being sent off in the second period with a match penalty for high-sticking Drew Doughty in a 1-0 loss at Los Angeles, the Minnesota Wild forward scored two power-play goals in a 4-1 victory Wednesday at Anaheim. Kaprizov and the Wild will wrap up a three-games-in-four-days trip to the West Coast on Friday night in Seattle. "He was motivated with everything that went on (Tuesday)," Wild coach Dean Evason said. Kaprizov, who took a career-high nine shots on goal against the Ducks, has 10 goals in 13 games this season. It's the second-fastest a Wild player has reached double-digits in franchise history, behind only Brian Rolston, who did it in 12 games in the 2006-07 season. |
11-11-22 | Wolves v. Grizzlies OVER 233 | 103-114 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 38 m | Show
After an emotional victory in last season's play-in tournament, it seemed like the Minnesota Timberwolves were poised to make some noise in the Western Conference playoffs. That is, until the Memphis Grizzlies were thrown into the mix. Minnesota will be hungry for revenge on Friday when it hits the road for a meeting with the Grizzlies in a rematch of one of last season's first-round playoff series in the West. It took Memphis six games to dispatch the Timberwolves before it met a similar fate in the Western Conference finals against the Golden State Warriors. Nevertheless, it was still an impressive run by Minnesota, which turned things around just past the midway point of the season to win 22 of its last 33 regular-season games. And after losing 129-117 to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night to fall for the fifth time in their last six games, the Wolves could benefit from rediscovering that moxie that propelled them to the postseason for just the second time since reaching the Western Conference finals in 2004. |
11-11-22 | Raptors v. Thunder OVER 219.5 | 113-132 | Win | 100 | 10 h 15 m | Show
The Oklahoma City Thunder might be expected to be demoralized following four straight losses, but that's hardly the case heading into the team's home game against the Toronto Raptors on Friday. The league's youngest team remained optimistic even after Wednesday's 136-132 double-overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Rising star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a season-high 39 points to lead the Thunder, who rallied from a 12-point deficit with just under five minutes remaining to force overtime. "It just shows the toughness of everybody on the staff," Oklahoma City guard Tre Mann said. "It shows how bad everybody wants to compete and win." Mann scored 21 points off the bench in the loss while guard Josh Giddey had 18. Forward Aleksej Pokusevski also continued to impress with 17 points and 10 rebounds. After opening the season with three straight losses, Oklahoma City won four straight before dropping four in a row. Despite falling short in Wednesday's marathon loss, the Thunder proved their mettle against the team with the league's best record in Milwaukee (10-1). |
11-11-22 | Chicago State v. St. Thomas OVER 143.5 | 61-83 | Win | 100 | 11 h 34 m | Show
Neither team has been very good on offense dating back to last season, which means this game is going over the total. |
11-11-22 | Loyola-Chicago v. Illinois-Chicago UNDER 138.5 | 70-63 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show
The opening wins brought the Flames up to 1-0 and the Ramblers to 1-0. A pair of last-season defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Illinois-Chicago has been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 28.10%, which places them 16th in college basketball. Less enviably, Loyola Chicago is 36th worst in college basketball in points allowed per game, with 61.5 on average. |
11-11-22 | Liberty v. Alabama UNDER 147 | 59-95 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 19 m | Show
Bama held their opening opponent to a field goal percentage of 26.80%, which places them 12th in college basketball. As for Liberty, they have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 19.60%, which places them second in college basketball. |
11-11-22 | Suns v. Magic UNDER 218 | 97-114 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
The Phoenix Suns' four-game road trip required an extra stop prior to Friday's game against the Orlando Magic. With Hurricane Nicole set to hit the Sunshine State, the Suns opted to exit Minneapolis after Wednesday's game and fly to Tampa -- away from the projected worst of the approaching storm. From there, the club will take a chartered bus to Orlando. The Suns hope the extra stop doesn't take away from the momentum established with their 129-117 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Devin Booker collected 32 points and a season-high 10 assists, and Mikal Bridges added a campaign-best 31 points and nine rebounds as Phoenix improved to 1-1 on its trek. Cameron Payne contributed a season-high 23 points to go along with eight assists and six rebounds. To boot, he played 35 minutes without recording a turnover while playing in place of Chris Paul, who sat out due to soreness in his right heel. |

11-11-22 | Lightning v. Capitals UNDER 6 | Top | 1-5 | Push | 0 | 9 h 55 m | Show |
Washington will be looking to rebound from Wednesday night's 4-1 home loss against Metropolitan Division foe Pittsburgh. The Penguins tallied three times in the second period en route to snapping their seven-game winless streak (0-6-1). With two games coming up against the fast-breaking Lightning, Capitals coach Peter Laviolette said the style of play the Penguins presented slowed his team down. |

11-11-22 | Villanova v. Temple UNDER 135.5 | 64-68 | Win | 100 | 10 h 39 m | Show
Replacing a head coach with more than 500 victories, four trips to the Final Four and two national championships would be a daunting challenge for some people. Not for Kyle Neptune. In Neptune's first game in place of Hall of Famer Jay Wright, No. 16 Villanova cruised past La Salle 81-68 on Monday. The Wildcats (1-0) will now face another Big 5 rival when they visit Temple on Friday in Philadelphia. There will be two more Big 5 games waiting against Pennsylvania and Saint Joseph's. "I get all the hype that's out there -- first game, Big 5 game, a new coach's first game," Neptune said. "Being a part of this program for so long, I think we have a unique resolve about playing and coaching for each other. That's truly all we think about. When you think that way, there's nothing to be nervous about." Caleb Daniels led the way with 24 points and 10 rebounds and Eric Dixon added 20 points and three blocked shots. |
11-11-22 | Delaware v. Air Force UNDER 131.5 | 71-75 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 30 m | Show
The Air Force Falcons are coming off a 62-58 road loss against the Bowling Green Falcons as they were able to shoot 40 percent from the floor and 35.3 percent from three. They did not drive the ball well as they only attempted four free throws throughout the game as well. Senior guard Camden Vander Zwaag had a good game as he finished with 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and a block. On the defensive side of the floor, they did pretty well as they gave up 39.3 percent from the field and 30 percent from three, but also allowed 19 free throws. They need to be better as they forced five steals and five blocks. If they can improve on this side of the floor, they can sneak away these types of wins. |
11-11-22 | OGC Nice v. Olympique Lyonnais UNDER 2.5 | 1-1 | Win | 115 | 5 h 9 m | Show
Nice is currently in ninth place in the Ligue 1 standings and has been plagued by inconsistency so far this season. The away side edged Brest to a 1-0 victory last week and will look to achieve a similar result in this fixture. Lyon, on the other hand, is in eighth place in the league table at the moment and has not been at its best this year. Les Gones slumped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Marseille in their previous game and will need to bounce back this week. |
11-10-22 | Southern Illinois v. Oklahoma State UNDER 136 | Top | 61-60 | Win | 100 | 15 h 18 m | Show |
The Salukis were one of the slowest teams in the country last year at about 66 offensive possessions per game. This slow pace contributed to the great scoring defense the Salukis have had with Mullins at the helm. They were first in the MVC and 15th in America in scoring defense. Last season the Salukis held opponents under 70 for 19 straight games. Despite their solid defense, this is an undersized squad that doesn't have anyone taller than 6'8 on the roster. Oklahoma State big man Kalib Boone could really disrupt the Salukis game plan if they can't limit his impact on the boards and the low block. |
11-10-22 | Tulsa v. Memphis OVER 61.5 | Top | 10-26 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 59 m | Show |
Memphis will look to end a four-game losing streak when it hosts struggling Tulsa in American Athletic Conference play on Thursday. The Tigers (4-5, 2-4 AAC) are coming off a 35-28 loss to visiting UCF in which the No. 25 Knights broke open a tie game with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to deal Memphis its longest losing streak since 2013. Tulsa (3-6, 1-4) fell behind 17-3 midway through the second quarter and never recovered in a 27-13 loss at No. 19 Tulane. It was the Golden Hurricane's fifth defeat in their past six games. Memphis must win two of its final three games to be bowl-eligible for the ninth straight season, while the Golden Hurricane must win their final three games to qualify for the postseason for the third straight year. |
11-10-22 | Rangers v. Red Wings UNDER 6 | Top | 8-2 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 3 m | Show |
The New York Rangers won 52 games last season and were tied for fourth best in the Eastern Conference with 110 points but will be a .500 team through the first month of this season if they lose in regulation on the road against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. New York has dropped three consecutive games, two in regulation and one in overtime to the Red Wings. All those losses came on home ice. The Rangers gave up a two-goal advantage in the third period on Tuesday, as the New York Islanders scored three unanswered goals to claim a 4-3 victory. Head coach Gerard Gallant provided an unusually rosy assessment of the blown lead after his team fell to 6-5-3. |
11-09-22 | Lakers v. Clippers OVER 221 | 101-114 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 42 m | Show
The Los Angeles Clippers have dominated their roommates, the Los Angeles Lakers, of late and another victory is up for grabs when the two teams meet in their shared downtown building. The Clippers will take an eight-game winning streak over the Lakers into Wednesday's second meeting of the season. This time, the Clippers will be the home team after they defeated the host Lakers 103-97 in the season opener. The Clippers also enter off their best victory of the season when they rallied from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit and used a late 15-0 run to earn a 119-117 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. The result ended Cleveland's eight-game winning streak. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has missed the last eight games with ongoing issues with his knee, so Paul George has expanded his already large presence. George scored 26 points Monday, including a key three-point play in the final minute that pushed his team in front. George has averaged 25.0 points per game, but has delivered even more at 31.0 points per game over the last five contests. The Clippers have gone 4-1 in those games to rebound from a four-game losing streak. |
11-09-22 | South Dakota State v. Boise State UNDER 144 | Top | 68-66 | Win | 100 | 13 h 22 m | Show |
Last season, the Boise State Broncos were mediocre at best offense while one of the best defenses in the sport. They lost three starters from last season and need to be able to swallow the losses here. They are going to need sophomore forward Tyson Degenhart to step up from his freshman season where he averaged 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.6 blocks, and 0.8 steals. |
11-09-22 | UMKC v. LSU UNDER 142.5 | 63-74 | Win | 100 | 12 h 15 m | Show
There’s a new look in Kansas City as the Roos enter their first season under head coach Marvin Menzies and return just four players, including senior guards Anderson Kopp and Shemarri Allen, from a year ago. Menzies’ 2022 recruiting class welcomes three transfers and a whopping 11 incoming freshmen. Koop and Allen combined to make 33 starts and average 13.1 points per game during the 2021-22 campaign. Graduate transfer guard RayQuawndis Mitchell (UIC transfer) is one of the Roos’ biggest additions, averaging 8.3 points and 2.9 rebounds for the Flames. |
11-09-22 | Knicks v. Nets OVER 223 | Top | 85-112 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
The New York Knicks have experienced both sides of the long-range game and figure to take advantage of what they have learned when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday in the first Big Apple showdown of the season. The Knicks hit a season-high 19 3-pointers in a victory at Minnesota on Monday, two days after they allowed 27 made baskets from distance in a home defeat to the Boston Celtics. Now the Knicks face the Nets, who entered play on Tuesday with the NBA's second-worst team at defending 3-pointers at 38.9 percent allowed. The Knicks have split their first 10 games and enter Wednesday shooting 34.8 percent from 3-point range, which is 22nd in the NBA. Last season, the Knicks were 13th at 35.7 percent and two seasons ago the Knicks made 39.2 percent from 3-point range, tying them for second-best with the Nets. In their five wins, the Knicks are averaging 121 points, and on Monday night they bounced back from the 133-118 loss to Boston for a 120-107 win at Minnesota. |
11-09-22 | Davidson v. Wright State UNDER 147.5 | Top | 102-97 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 25 m | Show |
With a victory over the Quakers in their previous game, the Wildcats got off to a strong start. They will be looking for similar outcomes on Wednesday when they embark on their first road trip, which could give them their second straight victory. In their 87-point victory over the Quakers, Davidson scored 45.1 percent of their field goals and 44.1 percent of three-point attempts. With 64 points allowed in the victory over the Quakers, Davidson played strong defense. They will need to put out another strong defensive performance if they want to win because they are playing a better offensive team. |
11-09-22 | Hampton v. James Madison UNDER 149.5 | 58-106 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 19 m | Show
Hampton is not expected to make too much noise this season but should not be viewed as a pushover. They have a good backcourt and are trying to develop some frontcourt pieces in order to get going and be viewed as a viable opponent in their new conference. |
11-09-22 | Buffalo v. Central Michigan OVER 54 | Top | 27-31 | Win | 100 | 11 h 11 m | Show |
UB comes up with takeaways in spurts – it came up with four or more in three games – and Central Michigan will be happy to oblige. The Chippewas are a horrendous -12 in turnover margin with two or more fumbles in five of the last six games. That should help provide plenty of scoring chances. |
11-08-22 | Georgia Southern v. San Jose State UNDER 135.5 | 48-63 | Win | 100 | 10 h 46 m | Show
The Eagles return nine players, including three starters to a team that finished 13-16 last season. They see four of their top six shooters return to the mix and a couple of incoming transfers will look to make an immediate impact. This was also a group that held opponents to 41% shooting last season, the 52nd-best number in the country, and allowed 65.6 points per game on average, the 63rd-best mark. |
11-08-22 | Coppin State v. Georgetown OVER 147 | 89-99 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show
The Georgetown Hoyas will open their 2022-23 campaign against the Coppin State Eagles on Tuesday night. Georgetown is coming off a disastrous season, going 6-25 and finishing last year on a 21-game losing streak. Coppin State opened its season on Monday night, losing to Charlotte in an 82-59 blowout. |
11-08-22 | Oilers v. Lightning OVER 6.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -118 | 7 h 44 m | Show
Nick Perbix's NHL star never shined brighter than over the weekend, but now the Lightning defenseman and his fellow blue-liners will be chasing a few of the league's top superstars. On Tuesday night in Tampa, the Lightning will host Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers, one of the league's highest-scoring squads. In his ninth NHL game Saturday night, Perbix made his presence known late against the Buffalo Sabres by scoring his first career goal. That tally put the Lightning up 4-3 with 4:55 left, and they went on to a 5-3 victory. The 24-year-old Minneapolis native hammered home a shot past Sabres goalie Eric Comrie, giving the former St. Cloud State standout his first goal and first game-winning tally in one swing. "Pretty surreal, honestly," Perbix said. "It's something you always dream of, and for it to be a game-winner makes it that much sweeter. I just hopped on the ice, saw we had a rush and tried to make the most of it." Tampa Bay forward Nikita Kucherov is on quite a run, too. He has points in 10 straight games (six goals, 13 assists) and has found the net in six consecutive matches. The four-point outing against Buffalo was the 20th time he had at least four points in a game, setting a franchise record, as the Lightning improved to 4-0-1 in their past five games. |
11-08-22 | Golden Knights v. Maple Leafs UNDER 6.5 | 4-3 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 25 m | Show
The Vegas Golden Knights will try to extend their seven-game winning streak Tuesday night when they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have won three straight. The Maple Leafs are coming off key back-to-back wins -- 2-1 over the visiting Boston Bruins on Saturday and 3-1 over the host Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. They started the streak with a 5-2 home victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday. Vegas, meanwhile, defeated the Montreal Canadiens 6-4 on Saturday in the third of five consecutive road games. "We cannot take it for granted, for sure," said Vegas winger Jonathan Marchessault, who had a goal and an assist at Montreal. "Winning in (this) league is pretty hard. We got a reality check last year." The Maple Leafs have rebounded from a four-game losing streak and so far have been able to deal with the loss of goaltender Ilya Samsonov (knee) after the second period on Saturday. Samsonov is expected to be out for at least one week. Erik Kallgren, who started the season as the No. 3 goaltender, made 29 saves on Sunday. |
11-08-22 | Flames v. Devils OVER 6.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -129 | 6 h 19 m | Show
Forty solid minutes over the last two periods of regulation weren't enough for the Calgary Flames against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night. And 40 solid minutes over the first two periods weren't enough for the Flames against the New York Islanders on Monday night. The skidding Flames will again look to put together a complete effort on Tuesday night, when they visit the Devils in Newark, N.J., in the second game of a three-game, East Coast road trip. The Flames squandered a two-goal, third-period lead against the Islanders on Monday night and fell 4-3 in overtime in Elmont, N.Y. The defeat was the fifth straight for Calgary, which held the lead in four of those losses and in five of its six defeats this season. The surging Devils won their sixth straight game Saturday when they frittered away a two-goal, first-period lead in Calgary before Fabian Zetterlund scored 2:38 into overtime to lift New Jersey to a 4-3 victory. The Flames, who scored 89 seconds after the opening faceoff on Saturday but trailed 3-1 after the first period, got off to a much faster start on Monday. |
11-08-22 | Coyotes v. Sabres OVER 6.5 | 4-1 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 11 m | Show
After what head coach Don Granato described as a "learning point" of a loss to the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Buffalo Sabres will look to rebound when they host the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday. Thanks to Jeff Skinner's goal early in the third period, Buffalo held a 3-2 lead through 47 minutes of Saturday's game with the Tampa Bay Lightning. However, the Lightning then showed their mettle in scoring three unanswered goals for the 5-3 comeback win. "We lost that game because of a difference in experience, not skill. That was evident when you look at the detail of it," Granato said. While the coach praised the Sabres' effort level, Granato felt "we didn't play an experienced enough game down the stretch, specifically." It didn't help that the Sabres were again missing a key defenseman. Just as Ilya Lyubushkin returned from a four-game injury absence, Rasmus Dahlin was a late scratch from the lineup. Dahlin is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and is questionable to face the Coyotes. |
11-08-22 | Eastern Michigan v. Akron UNDER 57 | Top | 34-28 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The Eastern Michigan Eagles (5-4) travel to InfoCision Stadium as they match up against the Akron Zips (1-8) in a MACtion battle on Tuesday night. This will be the 33rd contest in history between these schools. Akron is leading the all-time series 19-14. Despite that, the Eagles are currently on a two-game winning streak. In 2019, Eastern Michigan beat Akron 42-14. |
11-08-22 | SV Werder Bremen v. Bayern Munich OVER 4 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 2 h 20 m | Show
Werder Bremen is currently in seventh place in the Bundesliga standings and has been fairly impressive this season. The away side Schalke 04 to a 2-1 victory last week and will be confident ahead of this fixture. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, is at the top of the league table at the moment and has improved after a slow start to its campaign. The Bavarian giants edged Hertha Berlin to a 3-2 victory in their previous game and will look to take it up a notch this week. |
11-07-22 | Lakers v. Jazz OVER 229 | 116-139 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
In an interesting scheduling quirk, the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers will meet Monday night in Salt Lake City after the two teams both played a pair of games in L.A. over the weekend. As far as basketball goes, the Jazz certainly had the better weekend. Utah defeated the Lakers 130-116 on Friday and then downed the Clippers 110-102 late Sunday night. Los Angeles lost its meeting against Cleveland at home Sunday afternoon before traveling to Utah. Those results align with how the season has started for the two teams -- surprisingly good so far for Utah, which is off to an unexpected 8-3 start, and surprisingly bad for the Lakers, who have only managed to win two of their first nine games despite having a star-studded lineup. The Jazz looked like they might have been en route to a road loss Sunday after the Clippers erased their 10-point lead to go ahead by four in the fourth quarter. But Utah ended its three-game road swing strong with an impressive win against Paul George & Co. Jordan Clarkson led Utah with 23 points, while Collin Sexton scored 22 and lifted the team late in the fourth quarter. Lauri Markkanen added 18 points with nine rebounds and Mike Conley scored 17 with seven boards and four assists. Kelly Olynyk also played well down the stretch. Utah's defense was superb in the fourth quarter when it held the Clippers to only 17 points, including just six in the final five minutes. |
11-07-22 | Nets v. Mavs UNDER 217.5 | Top | 94-96 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
On Oct. 27, Luka Doncic visited the Brooklyn Nets and scored 41 points in a dynamic triple-double as the Dallas Mavericks held on for a four-point overtime victory. Doncic will attempt to match his previous effort against Brooklyn on Monday night when the Mavericks host the Nets, who aim to put a turbulent week in their rearview. Doncic heads into Monday averaging a career-best 36 points and is the second player in NBA history to open with at least eight straight games of at least 30 points. The only other player to start that hot was Wilt Chamberlain when the Hall of Fame center scored at least 30 points in 23 straight to start the 1962-63 season when he averaged 44.8 points per game for the San Francisco Warriors. |
11-07-22 | Raptors v. Bulls OVER 220 | 97-111 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 32 m | Show
Turnovers and struggles in the paint doomed the Chicago Bulls during Sunday's 113-104 road loss to the Toronto Raptors. Toronto's Christian Koloko made life especially rough on the Bulls, recording six of the Raptors' 10 blocked shots. "He did exactly what he does. Congrats to him. He had a great game," Chicago's Dalen Terry said. "But we'll see him again tomorrow." Yes, the Bulls will get an immediate opportunity to rebound on Monday as they host the Raptors in the conclusion of a home-and-home back-to-back. Koloko scored a career-high 11 points and was one of five Raptors in double figures Sunday. Fred VanVleet (30 points, 11 assists) and Scottie Barnes (19 points, 10 rebounds) each notched double-doubles for the Raptors, who were without leading scorer Pascal Siakam, who is expected to miss at least two weeks with a strained right adductor muscle. |
11-07-22 | Blazers v. Heat OVER 215 | Top | 110-107 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
The Miami Heat have played two straight games without their leading scorer, Jimmy Butler, who has been absent due to a sore left hip. The Portland Trail Blazers have played four straight games without their leading scorer, Damian Lillard, due to a strained right calf. Even worse for the Trail Blazers, they've played two straight games without starting guard Anfernee Simons, who has left foot inflammation. The Blazers and Heat will hope to welcome back these important pieces on Monday when Portland visits Miami. Lillard, who is averaging 31.0 points, was upgraded to questionable for Monday. Simons, who is second on the Blazers in scoring (22.0) and third in assists (3.9), is doubtful. Butler, who leads Miami in points (21.5) and ranks second in assists (5.5) and rebounds (6.4), could also be back on Monday after the Heat didn't list him on their injury report. The Heat, who are set to start a four-game homestand, are coming off a two-point loss at the Indiana Pacers. On the bright side, the Heat have won two straight home games, and coach Erik Spoelstra is optimistic. |
11-07-22 | Ravens v. Saints UNDER 46.5 | Top | 27-13 | Win | 100 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
The New Orleans Saints' first season since former coach Sean Payton's retirement has been a struggle. Yet first-year coach Dennis Allen's chances of salvaging this campaign rose considerably last week with a dominant, shutout victory that harkened back to the Saints squads that made four straight playoff appearances from 2017 to 2020. "Now the goal is to try to duplicate that," Allen said as New Orleans (3-5) headed into a major Monday night test against the well-rested Baltimore Ravens (5-3), who are trying to maintain their hold on first place in the AFC North. Still two games below .500 - but just one game out of first in an NFC South that has been rife with mediocrity - the Saints have been cautious about making too much out of one exceptional performance. "It was good because that was on par with who we are and what we're capable of doing," Saints linebacker and defensive captain Demario Davis said. "But there's still more out there and we've got to get it." The Ravens helped the Saints in Week 8, knocking off Tampa Bay in a Thursday night game. They've since had extra days to come up with ways to attack New Orleans. |
11-07-22 | Pelicans v. Pacers UNDER 234 | 122-129 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 56 m | Show
The New Orleans Pelicans are doing well during regulation. In overtime, not so much. They will try to take care of business in four quarters when they visit the Indiana Pacers on Monday. The Pelicans are 4-1 in games decided in regulation, but they've lost all three games that have gone into overtime, including a 124-121 loss at Atlanta on Saturday. "We've got to grow," New Orleans coach Willie Green said. "At the end of the day, the game is going to come down to getting stops and executing offensively. We start the overtime with the turnover. We missed a layup with a chance to tie the game in overtime. There are things that we can clean up, but our execution has to be better." The loss to the Hawks came one night after a 114-105 home victory against the short-handed Golden State Warriors. |
11-07-22 | Wizards v. Hornets OVER 214 | 108-100 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 52 m | Show
The Washington Wizards and host Charlotte Hornets are in need of a reversal of their fortunes early in the season, and both will be looking to put a halt to a freefall when the teams meet for the first time this season on Monday night. The Hornets, who carry a four-game losing streak, and the Wizards, who have dropped five of their last six games, have encountered a bevy of shortcomings. Among the glitches for the Wizards and Hornets was the inability to capitalize on facing the Brooklyn Nets, who have been mired in turmoil. Washington and Charlotte lost to the Nets on back-to-back nights (Friday and Saturday), respectively, in home games. Coach Wes Unseld Jr. said the Wizards have demonstrated a "competitive spirit" while short-handed because of a limited roster, so that could bode well despite the unfortunate results. Washington's Bradley Beal missed Sunday's game against Memphis because he was in the league's health and safety protocols. That means it's likely he won't play in Charlotte as well. He averages 21.6 points per game. The Wizards were hurting in several ways in that 103-97 loss to Memphis, especially from beyond the arc, as they shot 19.5 percent (8-for-41) from deep. Without Beal, the Wizards moved Corey Kispert into the starting lineup in his second game back in action after an ankle injury caused him to miss the start of the season. He scored just six points. Jordan Goodwin helped spark Washington's 19-0 run in a comeback that fell short. |
11-07-22 | Real Madrid v. Rayo Vallecano OVER 2.5 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 3 h 36 m | Show
Real Madrid will be back in La Liga action on the weekend following a 2-1 win against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. They host sixth-placed Rayo Vallecano at Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday. Los Blancos are unbeaten since their shock loss to Espanyol last month and have recorded four wins in five games across all competitions. They are a point behind leaders Real Sociedad, who have played an extra game. |
11-06-22 | Panthers v. Ducks OVER 6.5 | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
Considering the way the Panthers have fared against the Ducks of late, a visit to Anaheim, Calif., might be what Florida needs to rebound from another frustrating road setback. The road-weary Panthers will aim for a fifth consecutive victory over the Ducks on Sunday night. Florida has played eight of its 12 games on the road and is 3-5-0 in those contests. After Thursday's 4-3 shootout win at San Jose, the Panthers blew a pair of leads, and allowed the winning goal late in the third period, of a 5-4 loss at Los Angeles on Saturday. The Panthers have allowed 24 goals during their past six road games. "It (stinks) losing, and we're going to come back (Sunday) and be better," said Florida's Carter Verhaeghe, who scored twice Saturday to raise his season goal total to seven. "Getting some recovery. Forgetting about (Saturday's loss) and just moving on." It was the third multi-goal game this season for Verhaeghe, who has scored five times in the past four contests. He doesn't have any goals but has recorded two assists in his only three career games against the Ducks. After Sergei Bobrovsky (3.29 goals-against average) stopped 34 of 39 shots on Saturday, Spencer Knight could start in net for the Panthers. Knight has a 2.53 GAA while winning three of his four starts this season. Knight's first career shutout came when he needed to stop only 17 shots during the Panthers' 3-0 victory at Anaheim on March 18. Florida owns a 15-7 scoring advantage while winning four straight against the Ducks. Though the Panthers should feel confident knowing their recent track record in this series, Anaheim has won three of its past four following an 0-6-1 skid. |
11-06-22 | Maple Leafs v. Hurricanes UNDER 6.5 | 3-1 | Win | 105 | 6 h 44 m | Show
Having the best players playing the best is what Carolina Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour looks for from this team. He has seen that development often this season, and that has equated to quite a bit of success. "Our top guys have been playing really well," Brind'Amour said. The Hurricanes will take a four-game winning streak into Sunday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Raleigh, N.C. The Maple Leafs have a three-game points streak, including back-to-back victories. The most recent of those came with a 2-1 decision against visiting Boston on Saturday night, with Auston Matthews scoring both Toronto goals. Maple Leafs defenseman Timothy Liljegren made his season debut in that game after being out because of a hernia. "It gives us another really good option both 5-on-5 and on the penalty kill," coach Sheldon Keefe said. "He has the ability to play against really good people." The Leafs ended the Bruins' seven-game winning streak, and they'd like to douse another streak on Sunday. |
11-06-22 | Rams v. Bucs UNDER 42.5 | Top | 13-16 | Win | 100 | 6 h 31 m | Show |
When Tom Brady ended his brief retirement, citing "unfinished business" as motivation for continuing his record-breaking football career, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in last season's playoffs was still fresh on the Tampa Bay quarterback's mind. The last two Super Bowl winners meet Sunday for the fourth time in three seasons, but the 45-year-old Brady will be looking for a lot more than payback. The Buccaneers (3-5) have lost five of six following a 2-0 start. Brady has dropped three straight starts for the first time in two decades, and the seven-time NFL champion has been unable to beat the Rams since moving from New England to Tampa Bay in 2020. The Rams (3-4) are also below .500, searching for answers to turning around a slower-than-expected start after ending Tampa Bay's bid to repeat as Super Bowl champs last January and going on to win the Lombardi Trophy themselves. |
