10-20-22 | Saints +2.5 v. Cardinals | 34-42 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
New Orleans at Arizona 8:15 ET Saints (+) over Diamondbacks- So, you think that Kliff Kingsbury can coach? Well, let’s think this thing over again. This is a guy that said ‘we don’t practice like professionals.’ What, hey you are the head coach, practice is your responsibility. The 2-4 Cardinals have a quarterback that isn’t willing to put in the extra time it takes to be a winner. Arizona is 2-4 and defensive injuries hit them hard last week. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
10-20-22 | Yankees +128 v. Astros | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 54 m | Show
New York Yankees and Houston 7:35 ET Yankees over Astros- For the Yankees and even for the Astros in the playoffs it is all or nothing at the plate as they swing for the fences and strike out at a record setting pace. Houston will start Framber Valdez who is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA against the Yankees. New York will counter with Luis Severino whom is 2-3 with 3.82 ERA lifetime against Houston. Severino spent most of the year on the IL but have really nasty stuff especially when throwing strikes. Take NEW YORK! |
10-20-22 | Virginia +3 v. Georgia Tech | Top | 16-9 | Win | 100 | 24 h 48 m | Show |
\Virginia at Georgia Tech 7:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over Yellow Jackets- Neither of these clubs have been very impressive as Georgia Tech has won their last two to even their record at 3-3 while Virginia continues to slide and is 2-4 and 0-3 in ACC action dropping four-of-five. Tech has an interim coach Brent Key and he is 2-0 while the Cavaliers have first year head coach Tony Elliott who spent 11 years as a Clemson assistant. Cavs are 13-4 ATS after a bye week and the Jackets are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 home games and 2-11 ATS after a straight-up win. Take VIRGINIA! |
10-19-22 | Mavs v. Suns -4.5 | 105-107 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 10 m | Show
Dallas at Phoenix 10:00 ET Suns (-) over Mavericks- I think there is good reason to back the Suns here as their season came to an end last year when Dallas defeated them in Games 6 and 7 of the playoffs by over 30-points in each game. Regular season action has Phoenix 10-4 ATS in last 14 as hosts versus Mavericks. The Mavs are 1-6 ATS in last seven road games while the Suns are 4-1 ATS in their five regular season home games. Take PHOENIX! |
10-19-22 | Blazers +3 v. Kings | Top | 115-108 | Win | 100 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
Portland at Sacramento 10:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Kings- Neither of these two clubs made to expanded NBA playoffs last season and for Portland it was the first time they missed the postseason in eight years whereas the Kings have not made the playoffs in 16 seasons. There’s a new coach in Sacramento in Mike Brown the former Lakers and Cavaliers leader. Alvin Gentry replace Luke Walton after 17 games last season and the Kings weren’t much better after the change. Same old...take PORTLAND! |
10-19-22 | Pelicans +2.5 v. Nets | 130-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show
New Orleans at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Pelicans (+) over Nets- This game should draw plenty of attention as Kyrie Irving and Zion Williamson are the ones people want to see. Williamson of course hasn’t played since May 2021 missing the entire last season last year and of course Irving plays when he wants too. Kevin Durant is his same self and hating the coach more than he likes basketball. James Harden is gone and that might be a plus but how they handle Ben Simmons will tell the tale. Take PELICANS! |
10-19-22 | Yankees +160 v. Astros | 2-4 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 15 m | Show
New York at Houston 7:30 ET Yankees over Astros- The name of the game here is Justin Verlander (18-4, 1.75 ERA regular season, (0-0, 13.50  post) was 8-0 with a 1.29 ERA in his 11 starts before going on the IL and was 2-1 with a 1.17 ERA in his four starts upon his return to action. Against the Yankees he is 9-7 with a 3.44 ERA lifetime and 4-1 with a 2.75 ERA in post season. Jameson Taillon (14-5, 3.91 ERA regular season) will get the nod for New York and he’ll post his first post season win (0-1). Take NEW YORK! |
10-18-22 | Phillies v. Padres -114 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -114 | 8 h 46 m | Show |
Philadelphia at San Diego 8:05 ET MLB’s new playoff system has worked like a charm as the two added team the two lowest seeds have advanced to the NL Pennant series. Philadelphia turned their season around after firing Joe Girardi and they had the best record over the span until their final 20 games then winning just seven, still, good enough. The stars are aliened perfectly for both clubs as they get to start their most effective hurlers. The Phillies send Zack Wheeler (12-7, 2.82 ERA, 0-1, 2.18 postseason) to the hill while San Diego will counter with Yu Darvish (16-8, 3.10 ERA, 2-0, 3-0 postseason). Wheeler is 3-1 with a 2.06 ERA in six career starts against the Padres while Yu is 2-1, 2.23 ERA in seven starts against the Phils. Take SAN DIEGO |
10-18-22 | Guardians +165 v. Yankees | 1-5 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 51 m | Show
Cleveland at New York 4:05 ET Tribe over Yankees- Cleveland has been the hottest MLB team the last six weeks while the Yankees have been floundering since August. They will be starting Aaron Civale (5-6, 4.92 ERA) who has been on the IL three different times this season and he was 0-2 with an era of 10.00 versus the Yankees this season. New York will most likely start Nestor Cortes (12-4, 2.44 ERA) and he is 1-0Â with a 2.50 ERA lifetime against Cleveland. Civale has surrendered just five hits in his last 13 innings pitched with zero walks. Take CLEVELAND! |
10-17-22 | Broncos +4.5 v. Chargers | Top | 16-19 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show |
Denver at L.A. Chargers 8:15 ET Broncos (+) over Chargers- Entering last week’s game in Cleveland the Chargers were last in rushing in the NFL but a breakout game by Austin Ekeler moved them up 10 spots. Justin Herbert was his usual self and when he is they are hard to beat. Denver got what they wanted by signing Russel Wilson and they are beginning to realize what they actually have...and for four more years after this. LA has covered their last two while Denver is 0-2 getting beat 12-9 last week at Indy but they are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games after scoring less than 10 points. Add that LA is 5-13 ATS at home against teams with losing records.Take DENVER! |
10-16-22 | Cowboys v. Eagles -6 | 17-26 | Win | 100 | 26 h 30 m | Show
Dallas at Philadelphia 8:20 ET Eagles (-) over Cowboys- Unbeaten Cooper Rush will likely be under center Sunday night when his Dallas Cowboys visit the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles. Rush is 4-0 as the starter since Dak Prescott broke a bone in his throwing thumb in the season opener. Prescott is not expected to be ready for the primetime NFC East showdown between the Cowboys (4-1) and Eagles (5-0). Jalen Hurts has emerged as an early MVP candidate in his third season, passing for 1,359 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for 266 yards and six scores.Hurts is 1-2 against Dallas with five turnovers (four interceptions, one lost fumble) and three TD passes. The Eagles rank No. 2 in the NFL in total offense (419.8 yards per game) and No. 4 in rushing (160.0). Take PHILADELPHIA! |
10-16-22 | Yankees -1.5 v. Guardians | 4-2 | Win | 110 | 8 h 52 m | Show
New York at Cleveland 7:00 ET Yankees over Indians (oops I done it again)- After yesterday’s heartbreaking loss it is difficult to see how the Yankees can pick them selves up facing elimination. The answer is Gerrit Cole (1-0, 1.42 ERA 2022) who’s postseason record is outstanding. he is 9-5 with a 2.83 in 15 career postseason starts. that’s all that needs to be said. Take NEW YORK |
10-16-22 | Bills v. Chiefs +3 | 24-20 | Loss | -120 | 22 h 37 m | Show
Buffalo at Kansas City 4:05 ET Chiefs (+) over Bills- The Chiefs (4-1) and Bills (4-1) are tied for best record in the AFC. This will be the fifth meeting in the past two-plus seasons, with the teams splitting two regular-season contests and Kansas City winning a pair of playoff games. Mahomes leads the NFL with 15 touchdown passes while throwing for 1,398 yards and two interceptions. He threw four touchdown passes to Kelce in Monday night's 30-29 home win over the Las Vegas Raiders. It marks the 15th time he has thrown four or more scoring passes in a regular-season game. Josh Allen leads the NFL with 1,651 passing yards, including a career-high 424 yards in last Sunday's 38-3 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He threw four touchdowns, all in the first half, to raise his season count to 14 against four interceptions. Take KANSAS CITY! |
10-16-22 | Bengals v. Saints +3 | Top | 30-26 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 18 m | Show |
Cincinnati at New Orleans 1:00 ET Saints (+) over Bengals- The Bengals (2-3) have struggled thus far to regain the form that brought them to the Super Bowl last season. All three of the Bengals' losses have come on a field goal on the final play of the game. It has dropped from No. 13 to No. 22 in total offense, from No. 7 to No. 12 in passing offense and from No. 7 to No. 16 in scoring. New Orleans put together a complete offensive game for the first time this season in a 39-32 home victory against Seattle that ended a three-game losing streak last Sunday. Saints starting quarterback Jameis Winston has missed the last two games because of back and ankle injuries and has been replaced by Andy Dalton, who started 133 games for Cincinnati from 2011-19. TAKE NEW ORLEANS! |
10-16-22 | Bucs v. Steelers +10 | 18-20 | Win | 100 | 18 h 15 m | Show
Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Steelers (+) over Buccaneers- The Steelers (1-4) return to play at home this weekend, but they will host Tom Brady's Tampa Buccaneers. While the Steelers defense will have plenty to worry about with Brady and the Tampa Bay offense, the Buccaneers (3-2) are also armed with a stout defense that could pose some problems for Pittsburgh rookie Kenny Pickett. After going whooped 38-3 last week I expect a prideful effort out of the Steelers. Take PITTSBURGH! |
10-16-22 | 49ers v. Falcons +4.5 | 14-28 | Win | 100 | 18 h 13 m | Show
San Francisco at Atlanta 1:00 ET Falcons (+) over 49ers- Last week the San Francisco defense was as dominant as the offense, limiting the Panthers to 64 yards rushing, recording six sacks and getting a 41-yard TD interception return from cornerback Emmanuel Moseley. Playing without injured running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who went on injured reserve with a knee injury, and standout tight end Kyle Pitts, the Falcons (2-3) were held to a season-low point total in a 21-15 loss at Tampa Bay in Week 5. Rookie Tyler Allgeier and second-year back Caleb Huntley rushed for a combined 79 yards in the defeat. The Falcons hope to get Pitts (hamstring) back into game action against the 49ers after he returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday. He had four catches for 77 yards when the clubs met last December. Take ATLANTA! |
10-15-22 | Dodgers v. Padres +115 | 3-5 | Win | 115 | 10 h 57 m | Show
L.A. Dodgers at San Diego 9:35 ET Padres over Dodgers- Joe Musgrove blanked the 100-win Mets on one hit over seven innings to lead the San Diego Padres to victory in the National League wild-card round. Musgrove (1-0, 0.00 ERA 2022 postseason) was 10-7 during the regular season with a 2.93 ERA. But he also struck out 23 Dodgers in 17 1/3 innings. He had a 2.86 ERA and a 1.103 WHIP at home. The Dodgers, coming off two straight losses to the Padres, will counter with Tyler Anderson. Anderson was 2-0 against the Padres in four starts this season with a 1.88 ERA, a 0.875 WHIP and a .183 opponents' batting average. He was 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA in two starts in San Diego. Take San Diego |
10-15-22 | USC v. Utah -3.5 | 42-43 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 37 m | Show
USC at Utah 8:00 ET Utes (-) over Trojans- No. 20 Utah (4-2, 2-1) was expected to be the team from the west to rep the Pac-12 in the College Football Playoff, but after dropping their second game of the season to UCLA last week that dream has disappeared. But, the Utes still have a chance to repeat as conference champs. USC (6-0, 4-0) is now the clubs that the media has embraced and they are ready to trip up here. The home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings and the trojans are 2-7 ATS in their last nine conference games while the Utes are 19-8 ATS in their last 27 Pac-12 game. Take UTAH! |

Clemson at Florida State 8:00 ET Seminoles (+) over Tigers- In the mist of their comeback season Florida State (4-2, 2-2) blew a 17-3 lead to NC State last week and dropping their second straight. No. 4 Clemson (6-0, 4-0) leads the ACC in take-a-ways and allows just 18.3 ppg while scoring 39.3. The Tigers are 14-20 lifetime in this series while the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six ACC games. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
10-15-22 | Yankees -114 v. Guardians | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -114 | 8 h 40 m | Show |
New York Yankees at Cleveland 7:35 ET Yankees over Sockalexis’- New York is looking to avoid falling into a 2-1 deficit in the ALDS for the second straight time. The Yankees lost Game 3 against Tampa Bay two years ago andlost the series in five. Their only ALDS victories when losing two of the first three games were in 2001 against Oakland and 2017 against Cleveland. Triston McKenzie (0-0, 0.00 ERA postseason; 11-11, 2.96 regular season) will start for Cleveland after allowing two hits in six scoreless innings last Saturday in the wild-card clincher against Tampa Bay. McKenzie is 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA in two career regular-season starts against the Yankees. McKenzie also faced them as a reliever in Game 2 of the 2020 wild-card series and allowed two runs in 1 2/3 innings. New York's Luis Severino (2022 postseason debut; 7-3, 3.18 regular season) will make his 10th career postseason appearance and his first start since Game 3 of the 2019 ALCS at home against Houston, when he allowed two runs in 4 1/3 innings. Severino is 1-1 with a 5.79 ERA in three career ALDS starts. He earned the win against Cleveland in Game of the 2017 ALDS, when he allowed three runs in seven innings of a 7-3 win. Take NEW YORK! |
10-15-22 | Mississippi State v. Kentucky +4 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 22 h 5 m | Show
Mississippi State at Kentucky 8:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Bulldogs- No. 16 Mississippi State (5-1, 2-1) has defeated their last three opponents by a combined 127-55 taking down Arkansas, Texas A&M and Bowling Green. Quarterback Will Rogers has thrown for 2,110 yards in six games with 22 TD’s and only two ints. Two straight losses to South Carolina and Mississippi dropped the Wildcats out of the Top-10. The home team is 8-0 in the last eight meetings and Kentucky is 18-8-2 ATS in their last 28 home games. Take KENTUCKY! |
10-15-22 | LSU +2.5 v. Florida | 45-35 | Win | 100 | 22 h 41 m | Show
L.S.U. and Florida 7:00 ET Tigers (+) over Gators- A pair of SEC impostors who might crate some great action here. LSU (4-2, 2-1) is still adjusting to the ways of the ‘new cajun’ Brian Kelly in mist of his first season at the helm. Florida (4-2, 1-2) is under first year head Coach Billy Napier who received his first SEC win over Missouri last week. LSU has won the last three meetings outright and the dog is 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Take L.S.U.  |
10-15-22 | Alabama -8.5 v. Tennessee | Top | 49-52 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 20 m | Show |
Alabama at Tennessee 3:30 ET Crimson Tide (-) over Volunteers- No. 1 Alabama (6-0, 3-0) has won 15 in-a-row against the No. 6 Volunteers who are led by QB Hendon Hooker who leads the SEC with a 175 QB rating. The question for the Tide is will QB Bryce young be ready to play and he needs to play after what we saw last week from the crimson offense. Well, that might not matter because Hooker (I just love that, where’s Dandy Don) hasn’t faced a defense like Alabama’s. ‘Bama averages 6.99 ypr and only allows 250 ypg on defense. Vols learn how far they have to go. ALABAMA. |
10-15-22 | Kansas v. Oklahoma -8.5 | Top | 42-52 | Win | 100 | 83 h 14 m | Show |
Kansas at Oklahoma 12:00 ET Sooners (-) over Jayhawks- There are couple of stats that I want to give you and then I will just say no more. The Sooners have dominated Kansas forever. This is the first time that I can ever remember KU being ranked and OK not. The Sooners have won 17 straight in the series with the Jayhawks last win coming in 1997. QB updates Sooners returns and Kansas QB is out. Take OKLAHOMA! |
10-14-22 | Dodgers v. Padres +115 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 115 | 21 h 58 m | Show |
LA Dodgers at San Diego 8:35 ET Padres over Dodgers- It’s funny how the season plays out and for the Dodgers as the have Tony Gonsolin (16-1, 2.14 ERA) making his first post season start. What is so unusual about Gonsolin starting is that he has pitched just two innings since August 28. San Diego will start veteran Blake Snell who is craving for a chance to atone for recent short comings. The Dodgers have owner the Padres 41-17 the last 48 but s-h-i-t happens in the payoffs. Take SAN DIEGO! |
10-14-22 | Braves v. Phillies -115 | Top | 1-9 | Win | 100 | 17 h 59 m | Show |
Atlanta at Philadelphia 4:47 ET Phillies over Braves- After splitting the first two games on the road the Phillies become the favorite (at least in their eyes) and have their hottest pitcher on the mound in Aaron Nola who threw 6.2 scoreless innings against St. Louis last time out. Atlanta will throw either the veteran Charlie Morton (9-6, 4.34 ERA) or rookie Spenser Strider (11-5, 2.67) who’s last appearance was against the Phillies on September 18 (long time ago...some-tings up). Whiz Kids 14-5 last 19 home games. Take PHILADELPHIA! |

Cleveland at New York Yankees 7:35 ET Yankees over Sockalexis’- Left-hander Nestor Cortes (12-4, 2.44 ERA) was the most pleasant surprise for the Yankees this season as he was the most consistent of all their starters. In his last five starts he was 3-0 with a 1.32 ERA and allowed just two hits in his last 13.1 innings pitched. Cleveland will send 2020 Cy Young Award winner Shane Bieber (13-8, 2.88) to the bump and he closed the season with five straight wins but he did miss 16 starts because of a should injury. The Yankees have had the former Tribe’s number going 50-23 in the last 73 meetings in New York and 6-1 in the last even meetings. Take the YANKEES!  |
10-13-22 | Washington Commanders v. Bears | Top | 12-7 | Win | 100 | 29 h 36 m | Show |
Washington at Chicago 8:15 ET Commies (+) over Bears- Believe it or not Washington actually out-played and out-gained Tennessee by over 150 yards and still fell short with quarterback play turning the result. Chicago’s Justin Fields had his finest day as a pro going 15-21 208 yards passing and 47 yards rushing accounting for 255 of the Bears 271 offensive yards. The road team is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the commies are 5-0 ATS at Chicago. Bears are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games and just 6-16 ATS against the NFC. Take WASHINGTON! |

Baylor at West Virginia 7:00 ET Mountaineers (+) over Bears- Baylor just isn't what they were cracked up to be as they have struggle when they were supposed to dominate opponents. The Bears (3-2, 1-1 Big 12) fell to sixth in the league standings after a 36-25 loss to then-No. 9 Oklahoma State on Saturday, while West Virginia (2-3, 0-2) hasn't played since a 38-20 loss at Texas on Oct. 1. Baylor, which beat West Virginia 45-20 last year in Waco, is 0-5 all time in Morgantown. once again in at home it is WEST VIRGINIA! |
10-12-22 | Phillies +135 v. Braves | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 35 m | Show
Philadelphia at St. Louis 4:35 ET Phillies over Cardinals- The Big Leagues only 20-game winner Kyle Wright (2105, 3.19 ERA) will start for Atlanta and Zack Wheeler (12-7, 2.82) will get the nod for the Phillies. Wheeler was 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA against the Braves this season and is 10-7 with a 3.16 ERA in 24 career starts against them. Wright made three starts against Philadelphia this season and went 2-1 with a 2.84 ERA and he is 2-3 lifetime with a 3.86 ERA. Take the PHILLIES! |
10-11-22 | Padres +198 v. Dodgers | Top | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 12 m | Show |
San Diego at L.A. Dodgers Padres over Dodgers- I just think that this team (the Padres) have waited all year to put it together and they may have done it for the playoffs. We all know how the Dodgers treated San Diego like a 'red-headed step-child' and abuse them all season and not only this year but it seems like forever. L.A. has been laying in-wait but in baseball that is not always a good thing. Take SAN DIEGO! |
10-11-22 | Guardians v. Yankees -1.5 | 1-4 | Win | 111 | 20 h 21 m | Show
Cleveland at N.Y. Yankees 7:35 ET Yankees (-1.5 +105) over the Sockalexis' - Cleveland is 26-6 in its past 32 games. The Guardians were four games over .500 through Sept 4. but pulled away and won the division by 11 games over the Chicago White Sox. Cal Quantrill makes his first postseason start for the former Tribe and he closed the hottest pitcher in baseball as he was 15-5 with a 3.38 ERA and ended the regular season by going 11-0 with a 2.95 ERA over his final 17 starts. Quantrill is 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA in four career appearances against the Yankees. New York's Gerrit Cole is hoping for a better postseason than last year, when he allowed three runs on four hits in two-plus innings last year in the wild-card game at Boston. Cole is making his first Yankees postseason start in New York. Cole is facing Cleveland for the second time in the postseason. He faced them in Game 1 of the 2020 wild-card round, when he allowed two runs on six hits in seven innings of a 12-3 win. Cole is 8-5 with a 2.93 ERA in 14 postseason starts and heads into this year's postseason after going 13-8 with a 3.50 ERA during the regular season while leading the AL in both strikeouts (257) and home runs allowed (33). Cole went 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in two starts against Cleveland on April 24 and July 2. New York dominates and win over the run-line...take the YANKEES! |
10-10-22 | Raiders +7 v. Chiefs | Top | 29-30 | Win | 100 | 16 h 6 m | Show |
The Chiefs (3-1) have dominated the Raiders (1-3), winning the past three meetings by a combined score of 124-54. They've won eight of the teams' past nine meetings and 13 of the last 15 matchups. Along with that the home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The Chiefs' strong start, which included a 41-31 win at Tampa Bay on Sunday, has been fueled by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He's completed 66.4 percent of his passes for 1,106 yards and 11 touchdowns, the latter tied for most in the league. His 82.3 quarterback rating is tops in the NFL. The Raiders, who are coming off a 32-23 win over the visiting Denver Broncos, have struggled defensively. They have yielded 100 points and 1,015 passing yards, ranking in the bottom third of the league for both. Quarterback Derek Carr has completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,038 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions. After a disappointing start posting a win last week has the Raiders believing in themselves once again. Take LAS VEGAS! |
10-09-22 | Cowboys v. Rams -5 | Top | 22-10 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 31 m | Show |
Dallas at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Rams (-) over Cowboys- The Cowboys (3-1) would be nowhere without one of the top defenses in the NFL that has 15 sacks and has destroyed the internal clocks of opposing quarterbacks this season. While the Cowboys have found a winning formula, the defending Super Bowl champion Rams (2-2) have been sputtering along. Their latest defeat came Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers, as they fell 24-9. The uneven play from Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford continued as he went 32 of 48 for 254 yards and an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Stafford has been intercepted an NFL-leading six times after throwing 17 picks last season, which was tied for the most in the league. Take the L.A. Rams! |

In his only previous start against Philadelphia, Murray completed 27 of 36 passes for 406 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in a 33-26 win at home on Dec. 20, 2020. Philadelphia's last road win against Arizona was in 2001. Take ARIZONA! |

10-09-22 | 49ers v. Panthers +7 | 37-15 | Loss | -130 | 16 h 49 m | Show
San Francisco at Carolina 4:05 ET Panthers (+) over 49ers- The 49ers hold the NFL's top defense a month into the season, limiting opponents to 11.5 points per game. Yet it could be a tough turnaround for the 49ers (2-2), who topped the Los Angeles Rams 24-9 on Monday night and then must make a cross-country trip. For now, the Panthers (1-3) appear to have more problems. In quarterback ratings, Mayfield is 30th, while San Francisco's Jimmy Garoppolo is 14th. The Panthers have won six of the last eight matchups with San Francisco, including three in a row at home in regular-season play. They do it again. Take CAROLINA! |

10-09-22 | Titans v. Washington Commanders +1 | Top | 21-17 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 28 m | Show |
Tennessee at Washington  1:00 ET Commanders (+) over Titans-After two seven-win seasons and a poor start to this year, pressure is ramping up on Rivera. During their three-game skid, the Commanders have been outscored in the first half 58-7. If ever a team needed a feel-good story it's the embattled Commanders (1-3), losers of three straight games and who host the Tennessee Titans (2-2) on Sunday. The Titans enter on a two-game winning streak, which coincides with improved work from running back Derrick Henry. In two losses to open the year, Henry averaged 3.1 yards per touch. Since then, he's gained 290 yards on 50 touches, for an average of 5.8 yards. Still, in need...take WASHINGTON! |

The Seahawks are ranked 31st in total defense (428 yards a game), 29th in rush defense (154) and tied for 29th in pass defense (274). Take New Orleans |

IIowa at Illinois 7:30 ET Hawkeyes (+) over Illini- Yes I know how bad Iowa is on offense but we have be right on and off them three times and now is the time to get on board. Illinois (4-1, 1-1) is riding its best start since 2015 and threatening to earn its first Associated Press Top 25 poll appearance since 2011. Iowa, coming off a 27-14 loss to No. 4 Michigan, boasts the nation's third-best scoring defense (10.0 ppg) and stands eighth overall in total yards allowed. But Illinois trumps that as defensive coordinator Ryan Walters' unit ranks No. 1 in scoring defense (8.4 ppg) and No. 3 in yards allowed. Take IOWA! |

Utah at U.C.L.A. 3:30 ET  No. 18 UCLA welcomes a top 15-ranked, Pac-12 opponent to Pasadena, Calif., for the second time in as many weeks with 11th-ranked Utah's visit on Saturday. The Bruins (5-0, 2-0 Pac-12 offensive onslaught gave UCLA a second-half lead of as many as 24 points against the previously unbeaten Huskies. Utah (4-1, 2-0) is putting up some of the most impressive offensive numbers in the nation at 42 points per game, 11th in the nation. The Utes hit their average in last week's 42-16 home rout of Oregon State. Adding a ninth-consecutive overall victory for the Bruins means ending a different streak. Utah has won the last five meetings between the teams since 2016 and has not lost to UCLA inside of the Rose Bowl since 2012. Take UCLA! |

10-08-22 | Purdue +3.5 v. Maryland | 31-29 | Win | 100 | 24 h 30 m | Show
Purdue at Maryland 12:00 ET Boilermakers (+) over Terrapins- Maryland (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) is a member of the Big Ten East, beating the Terrapins would be a quality win. Maryland threw a scare into Michigan two weeks ago in a 34-27 loss and then handled Michigan State 27-13 last weekend. Meanwhile Purdue (3-2, 1-1) helped throw the Big Ten West race into a tizzy with a 20-10 upset of then-No. 21 Minnesota. The result left six of the division's seven teams tied for first place. Purdue last won a Big Ten title in 2000 and with quarterback Aidan O'Connell ranks No. 1 in the Big Ten in passing yards per game with 299.8, his Maryland counterpart Taulia Tagovailoa ranks No. 3 with 283.2 per outing. Oklahoma (3-2, 0-2 Big 12) dropped games to Kansas State and TCU. Texas (3-2, 1-1) is coming off a 38-20 win over West Virginia and has lost two games by a combined four points, including a one-point loss to top-ranked Alabama. The Sooners have won four consecutive games in the series beginning with the 2018 Big 12 Championship Game. The underdog is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Take OKLAHOMA! |

Vols just 1-3-1 ATS in last five at LSU and 4-12 ATS L-16 against teams with winning records. Take LSU! |

Houston at Memphis 7:30 ET Cougars (+) over Tigers- Prior to the season, Houston was picked to win the AAC in a media poll, edging Cincinnati but the Cougars' have struggled to close out games. The Cougars head to Memphis on the heels of a 27-24 overtime loss at home to Tulane on Sept. 30. Houston has played three overtime games this season, a program record, and has dropped two of them. Houston (2-3, 0-1 AAC) scored 14 straight points in the fourth quarter before Tulane produced a tying TD with 39 seconds left in regulation before falling. Memphis heads into Friday's game on the heels of a 24-3 win at home over Temple. Cougars Quarterback Clayton Tune threw for 208 yards and two scores in the loss, in which he became just the fourth player in Houston history to amass 10,000 career total yards. Take HOUSTON! |

10-07-22 | Mariners +120 v. Blue Jays | 4-0 | Win | 120 | 15 h 59 m | Show
Seattle at Toronto 4:05 ET Mariners over Blue Jays- The Blue Jays will start right-hander Alek Manoah (16-7, 2.24 ERA) in the opener of the best-of-three wild-card series. The Mariners will open with right-hander Luis Castillo (8-6, 2.99). The Blue Jays (92-70) took the first AL wild-card spot to earn home-field advantage for all games in the series. The last time the teams met, the Mariners (90-72) swept a four-game series from the visiting Blue Jays on July 7-10. They were 29-39 on June 19 after a loss to the Los Angeles Angels and 10 games below .500 and they go 61-33 from that moment forward. Castillo has faced Toronto once in his career, allowing two runs, seven hits and striking out five without a walk in six innings to take the loss at on May 20 when he was with the Cincinnati Reds. The 29-year-old is 4-2 with a 3.17 ERA in 11 starts with Seattle. Take TORONTO! |

10-07-22 | Rays +108 v. Guardians | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Cleveland 12:05 ET Rays over Sockalexis' (Check it out!) - American League Central champion Guardians (92-70) enter the postseason on quite the roll, winning 24 of their past 30 games to record the second-best 30-games. Cleveland, which won four of the six meetings against Tampa Bay in the regular season, will send right-hander Shane Bieber (13-8, 2.88 ERA) to the mound on Friday. He will be opposed by Tampa Bay left-hander Shane McClanahan (12-8, 2.54). Bieber is 2-2 with a 3.22 ERA in six career appearances (all starts) versus Tampa Bay. McClanahan, 25, struggled in his lone career outing versus Cleveland, surrendering five runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings of a 5-3 setback on July 31. The Rays are 13-5 in the last 18 meetings including 9-4 in the last 13 in Cleveland. Take TAMPA BAY! |
10-06-22 | Colts v. Broncos OVER 42 | Top | 12-9 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 52 m | Show |
Indianapolis at Denver 8:15 ET Colts/Broncos (Over)- Both of these clubs started the season with 'new' quarterbacks and playoff expectations and neither have shown much offense in their first month. The Indianapolis Colts were picked by many to win the AFC South after bringing Matt Ryan on board but Indianapolis (1-2-1) has struggled so far. The same is true for the Denver Broncos (2-2), who were expected to compete for the AFC West after trading for Russell Wilson in the offseason. The Colts who galloped along and lead the NFL in rushing last season are ranked 27th this season gaining just 87 YPG. Indy's defense is ranked No. 6 allowing just 297 YPG while Denver's 'D' is even better allowing just 284 YPG ranking No. 4. With all those terrible numbers on offense I can only expect a high scoring national TV audience. He OVER is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings and there's not much more for me to say. Play OVER! |
10-03-22 | Rams v. 49ers | Top | 9-24 | Win | 100 | 10 h 43 m | Show |
L.A. Rams at San Francisco 8:15 ET 49ers over Rams- Los Angeles (2-1) hasn't beaten the 49ers (1-2) at Levi's Stadium since 2018 and San Francisco is seeking their seventh straight regular-season victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams won against the Niners in playoff action last season. Los Angeles is 15th in scoring offense (20.3 points per game) and 25th in total offense (306.3 yards per game) while the 49ers are tied for 28th in scoring offense (15.7) and 24th in total offense (323.7). SF Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will make his second start of the season since Trey Lance was lost for the campaign with a broken ankle. Rams are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings. Niners are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
10-03-22 | Twins +102 v. White Sox | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 23 m | Show
Minnesota at Chicago White Sox 8:10 Twins over White Sox- The White Sox (79-80) have slumped to the finish line, losing nine of 12 to fall out of contention in the division and American League wild-card races, but they will start one of their more consistent right-handers in veteran Johnny Cueto. since joining the team in mid-May, Cueto (7-10, 3.39 ERA) went 1-4 with a 5.20 ERA in five September starts. He has lost four starts in a row, including his most recent one, allowing six runs and 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings on Wednesday at Minnesota. Cueto is 1-1 with a 4.58 ERA in three starts against the Twins this season, with 15 strikeouts in 17 2/3 innings. He is 4-1 with a 2.63 ERA in six career starts against Minnesota. The Twins (77-82), who also were in the hunt for the Central crown before fizzling in September, have lost three of four. Twins right-hander Bailey Ober (2-3, 3.18) will try to defeat Chicago for the second straight start after delivering 7 1/3 innings of two-hit ball on Tuesday in a win. Ober is 2-1 with a 3.34 ERA in seven career starts against the White Sox. Take TWINS! |
10-02-22 | Chiefs v. Bucs +110 | Top | 41-31 | Loss | -100 | 22 h 19 m | Show |
Kansas City at Tampa Bay 8:20 ET Buccaneers (-) over Chiefs- Patrick Mahomes and the visiting Kansas City Chiefs are prepared to test their mettle against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a showdown on Sunday night. Mahomes and Brady are no strangers to one another, with the former holding a 2-1 edge in regular-season play while the latter has gotten the better of both postseason matchups. Brady guided the New England Patriots to a win over Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game of the 2018 season before quarterbacking the Buccaneers past the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Tampa Bay's defense arguably was the star of the show in that game and can make that same claim this season by surrendering a league-best 9.0 points per game. Evans returns and Bucs win. Take TAMPA BAY! |
10-02-22 | Broncos +3 v. Raiders | 23-32 | Loss | -120 | 18 h 25 m | Show
Denver at Las Vegas 4:25 ET Broncos (+) over Raiders- The AFC West rivalry is one of the fiercest in the NFL, right up there with Green Bay-Chicago and Dallas-Washington. The Broncos and Raiders have a palpable dislike for each other and bragging rights alone with divisional records. Two head coaches, in their first year with their new teams, have something to prove and Josh McDaniels is looking for his first win with the Raiders (0-3) and is facing plenty of criticism. McDaniels has already had a lengthy closed-door meeting with owner Mark Davis. While Denver is 2-1 despite outscoring opponents just 43-36 while Raiders are minus-13. In a surprise Wilson gets the best of Carr. Take DENVER! |
10-02-22 | Cardinals v. Panthers +1 | Top | 26-16 | Loss | -120 | 18 h 7 m | Show |
Arizona at Carolina 4:05 ET Panthers over Cardinals- The Panthers (1-2) are coming off their first victory. The Cardinals (1-2) won at Vegas in between losing their two home games. Quarterback Baker Mayfield picked up his first victory with Carolina last week, though the outcome against New Orleans largely hinged on defense. The Panthers won despite Mayfield completing less than half of his passes (12-for-25). Carolina holds a 14-5 all-time record, including postseason against the Cardinals and has six consecutive victories in the series. Kingsbury is 0-3 versus the Panthers and for good reason. After a 7-0 start in 2021 the Cardinals continue to dive. Take CAROLINA! |
10-02-22 | Seahawks +3.5 v. Lions | 48-45 | Win | 100 | 15 h 4 m | Show
Seattle at Detroit 1:00 ET Seahawks (+) over Lions- Watch out Geno Smith for MVP as the percentage leading NFL QB has completed 77.4% of his passes for the 1-2 Seahawks. The Detroit Lions have struggled because coach Dan Campbell and the Lions' staff were unsure which players would be available at kickoff. Leading rusher D'Andre Swift and top receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown were among the Lions (1-2) sidelined this week. The Seahawks (1-2) might be in better physical shape but they've struggled in the post-Russell Wilson era. Seahawks are 39-19-4 ATS after a SU loss. Take SEATTL |
10-02-22 | Washington Commanders +3.5 v. Cowboys | 10-25 | Loss | -120 | 15 h 3 m | Show
Washington at Dallas 1:00 ET Commies (+) over Cowboys- The Commanders allowed a whopping six sacks in the first half and seven for the day. At one point in the third quarter, the Eagles held a preposterous 323-(-1) advantage in passing yards, since the NFL counts sack yardage as part of the passing game. Wentz was able to throw for 211 yards and lead a late touchdown drive, but none of it mattered. It added up to a second straight dispiriting loss for Washington after rallying in the fourth quarter to stop Jacksonville in Week 1. The good news for Washington is that Wentz has a history of success against Dallas. In eight career starts against the Cowboys, Wentz has 14 touchdowns and just four interceptions. His career passer rating against Dallas is a solid 95.7. But the most important numbers for Rush and Dallas are these: Two and zero. Two wins that Dallas really needed and zero turnovers. With the Cowboys playing a good brand of defense, Rush doesn't have to be Prescott. He just has to do what he's done. But, not this week. Take WASHINGTON! |
10-01-22 | NC State v. Clemson -6 | Top | 20-30 | Win | 100 | 22 h 20 m | Show |
N.C. State at Clemson 7:30 ET Tigers (-) over Wolfpack- Clemson has just not been very impressive especially on offense were they have now shown 'life' the past two weeks accumulating over 500 yards. When we think of these two clubs we would think defense first and the Clemson before NC State, but that is not the case. The Wolfpack actually surrender almost 90 yards less per game at 261.yards per than does Clemson at 350 YPG. Last season, the Wolfpack pulled out an overtime victory against the Tigers to snap an eight-game losing streak in the series but NC State hasn't won at Clemson since 2002. NCS is 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games while the Tigers who ave struggled against the 'number' are 4-1 ATS in their last five ACC games. Tigers get it done at home...take CLEMSON! |
10-01-22 | LSU v. Auburn +8.5 | 21-17 | Win | 100 | 22 h 51 m | Show
L.S.U. at Auburn 7:00 ET Tigers (+) over Tigers- LSU (3-1, 1-0) has won three games in a row and now Brian Kelly LSU's head coach prepares his team for its first conference road game. LSU lost its season opener against Florida State, then sandwiched non-conference wins against outmanned opponents (Southern and New Mexico) around a 31-16 home win against Mississippi State in the conference opener. Auburn narrowly escaped an upset against Missouri when the Tigers missed a 26-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter. They kicked a field goal on the first possession of overtime, then a Missouri fumble landed in the end zone for a touchback to end play. The Auburn offense is second-to-last in the SEC in yards per game (376.8), 12th in passing yards per game (202.8) and 10th in rushing yards per game (174). But, the home team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings and the underdog is 5-1 ATS L-6. Take AUBURN! |
10-01-22 | California +4 v. Washington State | 9-28 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 22 m | Show
California at Washington State 5:30 ET Golden Bears (+) over Cougars- Washington State (3-1, 0-1) blew a double-digit lead in the final four minutes against the then-No. 15 Ducks, allowing 22 unanswered points in a span of less than three minutes. The host Cougars scored a meaningless touchdown (except for 'us' that took the +6.5) in the final seconds to lose 44-41. The Golden Bears opened Pac-12 play with a 49-31 victory against Arizona while Jack Plummer added three touchdown passes for Cal. Bears lead the all-time series with Washington State is lifetime 48-29-5 SU and are 5-2 ATS L-7 at Cougars and road team is 12-5 ATS in last 17 meetings. Take CALIFORNIA! |
10-01-22 | Wake Forest v. Florida State -6.5 | Top | 31-21 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 25 m | Show |
Wake Forest at Florida State 3:30 ET Seminoles (-) over Demon Deacons- No. 23 Florida State is off to its best start since 2015 and ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll for the first time in more than four years. The Seminoles (4-0, 2-0 ACC) are undefeated and ranked after thrashing Boston College 44-14 at home last Saturday. Meanwhile, the Demon Deacons (3-1, 0-1 ACC) are coming off their first defeat of the season, a 51-45 overtime loss to No. 5 Clemson. Florida State has been solid on both sides of the football, scoring 37.5 points per game, while allowing just 18.8, both of which rank in the top 35 of FBS. Deacons will suffer after Clemson letdown and Wake Forest is 8-30 all-time against Florida State with one tie. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
10-01-22 | Michigan State +8 v. Maryland | 13-27 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 23 m | Show
Michigan State at Maryland 3:30 ET Spartans (+) over Terrapins- Michigan State is trying to put its season back on the rails after two straight losses. Coming off an 11-2 season, the Spartans rose to No. 11 in the AP Top 25 Poll after decisive wins over two Mid-American Conference teams. We used Washington as a Megabucks winner two weeks ago and last week thought that MSU would bounce back. Not so, they were crushed by a superior Minnesota team. Maryland (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) figures to have confidence and incentive when it takes on Michigan State (2-2, 0-1 Big Ten), Saturday in College Park, Md. The Terps are 0-4 against the Spartans over the last five seasons and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. Take MICHIGAN STATE! |
10-01-22 | Oklahoma v. TCU +6.5 | 24-55 | Win | 100 | 48 h 51 m | Show
Oklahoma at T.C.U. Noon ET Horned Frogs (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma is No. 7 in the nation in total offense, averaging 513 yards a game. The No. 18 Sooners (3-1, 0-1) will need their offense when they face QB Max Duggan and host TCU (3-0, 0-0) on Saturday in a Big 12 game at Fort Worth, Texas. Duggan has three career games with more than 100 yards rushing and ran for 92 against Oklahoma in 2019. The Sooners have won eight consecutive games in the series, with the Horned Frogs' most recent victory coming in 2014. The Sooners have lost back-to-back games in the regular season just once since 2000. In 2020, Oklahoma fell to Kansas State and Iowa State on consecutive weeks to start Big 12 play. Still...it's TEXAS CHRISTIAN! |
10-01-22 | Kentucky v. Ole Miss -7 | Top | 19-22 | Loss | -100 | 48 h 50 m | Show |
Kentucky at Mississippi 12:00 ET Rebels (-) over Wildcats- In a matchup of ranked Southeastern Conference teams on Saturday, No. 7 Kentucky and No. 14 Ole Miss will try to shake off last weekend's sluggishness when they meet in Oxford, Miss. The Wildcats (4-0, 1-0) ultimately took care of their non-conference business with Northern Illinois while Ole Miss (4-0, 0-0) couldn't put away Tulsa, which arrived on the Oxford campus as a three-touchdown underdog. The Rebels and Wildcats last met in 2020, when the game went to overtime, 35-35 in Lexington. Rebels are 4-1-1 ATS at home against teams with winning records. Take MISSISSIPPI! |
10-01-22 | Purdue +12.5 v. Minnesota | 20-10 | Win | 100 | 48 h 50 m | Show
Purdue at Minnesota 12:00 ET Boilermakers (+) over Golden Gophers- No. 21 Minnesota (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will look to continue terrorizing opposing offenses on Saturday when it faces Purdue (2-2, 0-1) in a conference matchup at Minneapolis. The Gophers have allowed just 24 points this season. They've also allowed the fewest average yards per game in the nation (187.8), with the next-closest team, Alabama, at 201.2. Minnesota has averaged the second-most yards per game on the ground (294.5) and has 17 rushing touchdowns, which is tied with Michigan for first. Minnesota has dominated the all-time series lately, winning eight of the last nine meetings. Purdue quarterback Aidan O'Connell also will look for revenge on Saturday after dropping the last three versus the Gophers. Not this time...take PURDUE! |

09-30-22 | Washington v. UCLA +3.5 | Top | 32-40 | Win | 100 | 34 h 45 m | Show |
Washington at UCLA 10:30 ET Bruins (+) over Huskies- Washington is No. 5 in the nation in total offense at nearly 531 yards per game. The Huskies scored an average of 44 points in each of their victories. Washington beat Stanford 40-22 last week in the Pac-12 opener as Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 22 of 37 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. The 309 passing yards was the lowest total in a game this season for the nation's leading passer. UCLA (4-0, 1-0) has yielded points in nine of its 10 opponent red-zone opportunities. The conference-opening win marked the third time this season UCLA scored 45 points, bolstering their 20th-ranked 41.8-point per game scoring average. UCLA's defense enters the week gearing up to make life difficult for Penix and the Washington passing attack. The Bruins are among the nation's top 24 defenses in sacks. Take U.C.L.A. |

09-30-22 | Mets -120 v. Braves | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -120 | 8 h 46 m | Show |
N.Y.Mets at Atlanta 7:20 ET Mets over Braves- Right-hander Jacob deGrom (5-3, 2.93 ERA) is slated to start for the Mets against left-hander Max Fried (13-7, 2.50). The Mets (98-58) are one game ahead of the Braves (97-59). The division winner earns the second first-round bye while the second-place finisher will head to a wild-card series scheduled to start Oct. 7. deGrom had his worst start in more than three years Saturday, when he took the loss after allowing five runs over four innings as the Mets fell to the Oakland Athletics 10-4. It was the first time deGrom allowed more than three earned runs in a start since Sept. 3, 2019 a span of 40 starts, the longest such streak in baseball history. Fried took the hard-luck defeat Sept. 22, when he gave up one run over five innings as the Braves lost to the Philadelphia Phillies, 1-0. deGrom is 10-8 with a 2.08 ERA in 27 career starts against the Braves. Fried is 6-5 with a 2.84 ERA in 20 games (15 starts) against the Mets. Take NEW YORK! |

09-30-22 | Tulane +2.5 v. Houston | Top | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 30 h 16 m | Show |
Tulane at Houston Green Wave (+) over Cougars- Starting the season ranked No. 24 Houston, defeated UTSA 37-35 in three overtimes. But now, it there may be tension within the program. The Cougars (2-2) will look to sort out some of those problems when they host American Athletic Conference foe Tulane (3-1) Friday night in the conference opener. After two convincing wins to open the season, the Green Wave -- a two-touchdown underdog at Kansas State stunned the Wildcats 17-10 on Sept. 17. However, the euphoria of the 3-0 start was dashed in last weekend's 27-24 home loss to Southern Mississippi. Houston has won the past two meetings with the Green Wave and owns a 19-7 edge in the all-time series. Take TULANE! |

Left-hander Rich Hill (7-7, 4.65 ERA) gets the nod for the Red Sox. He blanked the Orioles across five innings on Sept. 11 for his only victory across five starts this month. Hill, a member of the 2009 Orioles, is 4-1 with a 2.80 ERA in 18 all-time appearances, including eight starts, against Baltimore. Take BOSTON! |

09-25-22 | 49ers v. Broncos +2 | Top | 10-11 | Win | 100 | 25 h 4 m | Show |
San Francisco at Denver 8:20 ET Broncos (+) over 49ers- 'It is the best of time and it is the worst of times,' that how 49ers fans see the Jimmy Garoppolo is back story. Personally, I like him injuries aside, but he's in trouble here. With Lance out for the season following surgery on his right ankle on Monday, Garoppolo is the No. 1 quarterback once again, and he makes his first start of the season on Sunday night when San Francisco (1-1) pays a visit to the Denver Broncos (1-1). QB Russell Wilson has seen better days and the Denver crowd is letting him hear it as his subpar performances have drawn attention after him signing a 5-yr extension. He'll come to play tonight as Broncos No. 3 defense allowing just 243.5 YPG leads the way! Take DENVER! |
09-25-22 | Ravens v. Patriots +2.5 | Top | 37-26 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 42 m | Show |
Baltimore at New England 1:00 ET Patriots (+) over Ravens- If you keep playing against Mack Jones you will pay. The Ravens collapse to Miami (blew 28-7 lead) will linger. The difference here is the Pats defense is ranked No. 4 and allows only 246 YPG while Ravens ranked last surrendering 463.6 PPG. Aside from QB Jackson Baltimore has little run game to speak of. The Patriots dropped their season opener against Miami, but their defense fared much better than the Ravens did against the electric offense down in South Beach. New England's defense has been among the league's best through the first two weeks of the season, allowing just 34 points and the fourth-fewest yards per game (275). Take NEW ENGLAND! |
09-25-22 | Bengals v. Jets +6 | 27-12 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 40 m | Show
Cincinnati at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Bengals- Break-up the Jets! Miracle comeback win over Browns has New York ready to take off. Bengals O-line still can't protect Burrow and Jets defense has improved enough to cause Bengals problems. Super Bowl hangover affects the loser and Cincy a great example. The Bengals (0-2), who were expected to contend for a second straight AFC title, are already in a tough spot. They followed a season-opening 23-20 loss in overtime to the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 20-17 setback at Dallas on Sunday. The Jets won the teams' meeting last year, 34-31, by scoring two touchdowns in a span of 61 seconds in the final 4:36 to rally from a 31-20 deficit. It's getting to be a habit. Take NEW YORK JETS! |
09-25-22 | Chiefs v. Colts +5.5 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 18 h 39 m | Show
Kansas City at Indianapolis 1:00 ET Colts (+) over Chiefs- If anybody has been more disappointing than the Colts (Maybe Raiders) who are repeating their scenario from 2021 by losing games that they are expected to win. The Colts were picked by most to win the weak AFC Central and are in a 'must' win situation after failing to win as favorites and were shut out last week by the Jaguars of all clubs. Colts can't pull-up lame and must run the ball with Taylor or the climb back into playoff contention looks dim. The offseason acquisition of quarterback Matt Ryan led to high expectations for the Colts (0-1-1), but they bottomed out quickly with a tie against the Houston Texans and an ugly 24-0 loss to the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. They come to play today. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
09-25-22 | Eagles v. Washington Commanders +6.5 | 24-8 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 38 m | Show
Philadelphia at Washington 1:00 ET Commies (+) over Eagles- Eagles flying after dominating Minny on MNF and are the favorites to win the NFC East but must contend with old division rivals. Playing at Washington will present it's problems as the Commies will be ready especially with the dog and home teams 3-0-1 ATS in the last four. Philly closed 2021 with two wins over Washington in weeks 15 & 17 with Hurts proving his worth but, now it's get back time for home club. In the pandemic-riddled 2020 season in Philadelphia, Hurts and Wentz were pitted in a divisive battle for the starting job which divided Eagles players, coaches and fans. Hurts ranks No. 2 in the NFL in combined yards passing and rushing (723) for the 2-0 Eagles, while Wentz is No. 2 in the league in passing yards (650) and is tied for the lead in touchdown passes (seven) for the 1-1 Commanders. Take WASHINGTON! |
09-25-22 | Lions +6 v. Vikings | 24-28 | Win | 100 | 18 h 37 m | Show
Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 ET Vikings (-) over Lions- This should be bounce-back city for Minnesota who were completely dominated by the Eagles Monday night. Lions are 2-0 ATS and will return to reality here as the Vikings 'How do you like me now' QB Cousins takes advantage the NFL's 30th ranked defense which is allowing 425.5 YPG. Kirk Cousins will look to bounce back from its 24-7 road loss to Philadelphia when it faces the Lions on Sunday in Minneapolis. Cousins, a Michigan native, has a 7-2 record in nine starts against Detroit. He's averaged 282 passing yards in those outings while throwing for 19 touchdowns and getting intercepted just twice. The Lions snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Vikings with a 29-27 triumph last December.A new losing streak starts here. Take MINNESOTA! |
09-24-22 | USC v. Oregon State +6 | Top | 17-14 | Win | 100 | 26 h 6 m | Show |
USC at Oregon State 9:30 ET Beavers (+) over Trojans- Both clubs are 3-0 SU with this being Oregon State's Pac-12 opener and both clubs have met and defeated Fresno State. USC (3-0, 1-0 Pac-12) was impressive again last week, rolling past Fresno State 45-17. The Trojans have 10 takeaways with no turnovers, the best margin in the nation. Under coach Jonathan Smith. Oregon State snapped its eight-year bowl-game drought last season and ended a losing streak USC with a 45-27 win over the trojans last September. USC is 2-5 ATS in last seven meetings with State and the dog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Add that the Beavers are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games. Take OREGON STATE! |
09-24-22 | Kansas State +13.5 v. Oklahoma | 41-34 | Win | 100 | 25 h 42 m | Show
Kansas State at Oklahoma 8:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma coach Brent Venables was a walk-on linebacker for Kansas State in the early 1990s and carved out a role with the Wildcats, then began his coaching career there before joining Bob Stoops' Oklahoma staff after the 1998 season. No. 6 Sooners (3-0) open Big 12 play Saturday against visiting Kansas State (2-1) at Norman, Okla. The Sooners come into the game undefeated, having rolled through opponents by a combined 127-30 in non-conference play while the Wildcats come in off a 17-10 home loss to Tulane. Kansas State has performed well against the Sooners in recent years, winning two of the last three meetings. Both teams rank in the top 15 nationally in rushing yards and Kansas State has forced seven turnovers, all interceptions. Take KANSAS STATE! |
09-24-22 | Iowa -7.5 v. Rutgers | Top | 27-10 | Win | 100 | 24 h 50 m | Show |
Iowa at Rutgers 7:00 ET Hawkeyes (-) over Scarlet Knights- This has got to be the most 'bogus' line of the weekend! Think about this for a second...Iowa, which ranks last among 131 FBS teams with 217.7 yards per game on offense will face a Rutgers defense allowing 240.3 per game and is 10th in the nation. The Scarlet Knights (3-0) are over a TD underdog at home and this just doesn't make any sense. We can always find trends to support our side so it goes. Knights are 0-5 ATS against teams with winning records and 4-9 ATS after a SU win. Take IOWA! |
09-24-22 | Blue Jays v. Rays -105 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
Toronto at Tampa Bay 6:10 ET Rays over Blue Jays- The Rays and Blue Jays each have the same record (84-67) and they have two games remaining between them, as they battle to capture to No. 1 wild-card position. Both clubs hold a 1 1/2-game lead over the team occupying the third AL wild-card spot, the Seattle Mariners (82-68). Alek Manoah (14-7, 2.40 ERA) set to start on Saturday being pushed back a day and he is 3-2 with a 1.69 ERA against the Rays across 37 1/3 innings in six career starts. This year, he is 0-1 with a 2.13 ERA in two outings against Tampa Bay. Rays starter Drew Rasmussen (10-6, 2.92 ERA) will look to regain the outstanding form he had prior to his past two starts. In six career starts and one relief outing against Toronto, Rasmussen is 1-2 with a 2.51 ERA in 32 1/3 innings. This year, he is 0-2 with a 3.10 ERA in four starts vs. the Blue Jays. This time out he gets the ring. Take TAMPA BAY! |
09-24-22 | Notre Dame +2.5 v. North Carolina | 45-32 | Win | 100 | 21 h 10 m | Show
Notre Dame at North Carolina 3:30 ET Fighting Irish (+) over Tar Heels- Notre Dame's first win of the season was the result of the pressure its defense was able to apply on Cal quarterback Jack Plummer. The Irish racked up six sacks and five other QB hits. North Carolina is 3-0 to start the season but has historically struggled against the Irish. Notre Dame is 20-2 all-time in the series and is currently riding a four-game winning streak. UNC has one of the most explosive offenses in the country, averaging 51.3 points per-game, a mark that is tops in the ACC and fourth-best in FBS. I would have thought the Tar Heels would be bigger favorites but the oddsmaker believe the Irish have a shot. Take NOTRE DAME! |
09-24-22 | Texas v. Texas Tech +7 | Top | 34-37 | Win | 100 | 21 h 9 m | Show |
Texas at Texas Tech 3:30ET Red Raiders (+) over Longhorns- Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has already made a difference in the Longhorns program going 2-1 to start his career with a 20-19 loss o Alabama and an impressive come-back win (trailed 17-7) over Texas-SA. This will be his first challenge on the road after three home games to start the season. The Red Raiders (2-1) return home after a 27-14 loss at then No. 16 North Carolina State last weekend. Texas holds a 54-17 advantage over the Red Raiders in the all-time series between the schools and has captured 11 of the past 13 matchups. The Longhorns scored 10 touchdowns in a 70-35 win over Texas Tech in Austin last season and Tech is looking to atone at home. Red Raiders 7-1 after a loss. Take TEXAS TECH! |
09-23-22 | Guardians v. Rangers -117 | Top | 6-3 | Loss | -117 | 9 h 36 m | Show |
Cleveland at Texas 8:05 ET Rangers over Indians- Cleveland (83-67) can move closer toward locking up the division with a successful series against Texas (65-84) as the Guardians are seven games up in the Central with 12 to play. Guardians right-hander Cody Morris (0-2, 2.30 ERA) and Rangers right-hander Jon Gray (7-7, 3.80) are the scheduled starters for the Friday series opener. Morris, is making his fifth big league start. It will be his first appearance against the Rangers while Gray is 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA in September. Take TEXAS! |
09-23-22 | Virginia +10 v. Syracuse | Top | 20-22 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show |
Virginia at Syracuse 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Orange- Syracuse (3-0, 1-0 ACC) and Virginia (2-1, 0-0) are both coming off last second victories as the Orange shocked Purdue with a 26 yard TD pass on the final play while the Cavaliers kicked a game winning field goal as time expired to defeat Old Dominion. Friday will mark the sixth all-time matchup between the teams, with Virginia leading 3-2. The last meeting, in 2015, was a triple-overtime thriller in which the Cavaliers emerged with a 44-38 home victory. Cavs are 6-1 ATS after scoring less than 20 points the previous games and are 5-1 ATS in their last six ACC games. Take VIRGINIA! |
09-22-22 | Steelers v. Browns -4 | Top | 17-29 | Win | 100 | 19 h 16 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Cleveland 8:15 ET Browns (-) over Steelers- Pittsburgh pretty much trailed most of the game in their loss to the Patriots (A-Play ML winner) and will stay will Mitch Trubisky at QB, he will be making just his third start and there are already 'rumblings' about replacing him with Kenny Pickett. Trubisky is averaging just 5.1 yards per completion which ranks 32nd among 33 qualifying quarterbacks while passing for 362 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Both clubs coming off losses but the way the Browns lost last week has got to have some lingering effect. The Browns (1-1) blew a 13-point lead with 1:55 left to play in Sunday's 31-30 home loss to the New York Jets. I'm looking for the Browns to suck-it-up and run the ball at the Steelers and not surrender the lead. Take CLEVELAND! |
09-22-22 | Guardians v. White Sox +128 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 0 m | Show
Cleveland at Chicago White Sox 8:10 ET White Sox over Guardians- the White Sox (76-73) are fading out of contention while the red-hot Guardians (82-67) have won 12 of their past 14 games to reduce their magic number to seven for clinching the American League Central title. First-place Cleveland resides six games ahead of second-place Chicago in the division with 13 games to play. Right-hander Shane Bieber (11-8, 2.83 ERA) is 7-2 record with a 1.68 ERA over his past 10 starts. Bieber is 7-4 with a 2.66 ERA in 16 career starts against the White Sox, including 2-2 with a 2.96 ERA in four outings this season. Right-hander Johnny Cueto (7-8, 3.09) boasts a 5-0 record with a 2.14 ERA in nine career encounters against Cleveland. Take WHITE SOX |
09-21-22 | Cardinals v. Padres -130 | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
St. Louis at San Diego 9:40 ET Padres over Cardinals- Both of these clubs are fighting for playoff position and will be sending veteran pitchers to the mound. St. Louis will send Miles Mikolas (11-12, 3.46 ERA) out to start and his counterpart for San Diego will be lefty Blake Snell (7-9, 3.85). The Padres are on a 4-game winning streak having outscored the D'backs and Cardinals by a 25-4 margin. Snell who is the last SD starter to surrendered a run and has a 2.77 ERA in 13 innings against the Cards. Padres are 6-0 in the last six meetings in San Diego. Take the PADRES! |
09-20-22 | Mets v. Brewers +106 | Top | 7-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
N.Y. Mets at Milwaukee 7:40 ET Brewers over Mets- Granted 'we' had the Brew Crew yesterday in the Mets post season clinching victory but that was yesterday. Today, after a night of celebrating for making the playoffs for the first time since 2016 New York's intensity may be down a notch and Milwaukee is getting desperate as they are 46-50 since June 1. The Monday loss makes it harder for the Brewers (78-69) to join the Mets in the playoffs. Milwaukee is now 2 1/2 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the race for the third and final NL wild-card spot. Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (2-10, 4.58 ERA) will get the start against Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco (15-6, 3.70 ERA). Mets are just 5-16 in the last 21 meetings in Milwaukee. Take BREWERS! |
09-19-22 | Mets v. Brewers -112 | Top | 7-2 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 26 m | Show |
N.Y. Mets at Milwaukee 7:40 ET Brewers over Mets- The New York Mets are expected to start Max Scherzer off the injured list and Milwaukee will start another Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burnes. Burnes (10-7, 2.97) is 2-2 with a 4.60 ERA over his last seven starts and is 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA in four career games against the Mets, including three starts. Scherzer is 3-2 with a 2.56 ERA in his last seven major league starts and Scherzer is 2-3 with a 2.37 ERA in 10 career appearances against Milwaukee, including nine starts. Brewers are 13-5 in the last 18 meetings and are 19-7 in the last 26 meetings in Milwaukee. Take BREWERS! |
09-19-22 | Titans +10 v. Bills | 7-41 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 20 m | Show
Tennessee at Buffalo 7:15 ET Titans (+) over Bills- The Buffalo Bills opened the season by sending a message to the rest of the NFL that they are the team to beat not only in the AFC but in the NFL as well by dominating the Super Champion Rams. Buffalo (1-0) committed three first half turnovers and then scored 21 unanswered second-half points while notching a 31-10 road. The Titans let a 13-point halftime lead slip away en route to a 21-20 loss to the New York Giants. Tennessee who was the No. 1 seed in the AFC last season whipped the Bills 42-16 in Week 5 of the 2020 season and rallied for a 34-31 victory in Week 6 on the Monday last season as Henry took over in the fourth quarter. Both those games were in Nashville but I'm still take back a bit by this double-digit price especially because the underdog is 10-1 ATS in their series and the Titans are 8-2 ATS in Monday Nights and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games when underdogs. Take TENNESSEE! |
09-18-22 | Bengals v. Cowboys +8 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 21 h 13 m | Show
Cincinnati at Dallas 4:25 ET Cowgirls (+) over Bengals- Oh, I absolutely love my side here and will be surprised if Dallas (0-1) doesn't actually win the game on the field (no points needed, but, I always take them). The visiting Cincinnati Bengals aim to recover from disastrous season-opening loss when they meet the Pokes on Sunday while the 'Boys defeat was compounded by the loss of Dak Prescott to a thumb injury on his throwing hand that will sideline him multiple weeks during their 19-3 setback to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cincy's Joe Burrow spent time in a doctor's office this week could he endure another seven-sack performance. As Burrow looks to rebound from a difficult start, Cooper Rush will be making his first start for the Cowboys since stepping in for Prescott last season. Cowboys are 6-1 ATS after a straight up loss. Take DALLAS! |
09-18-22 | Mariners v. Angels -105 | Top | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show |
Seattle at L.A. Angels 4:10 ET Angels over Mariners- L.A. got the pitching performance they needed from Shohei Ohtani who went seven innings allowing no runs and striking out eight in Saturday's 2-1 victory. Today, I'm expecting more of the same from Reid (No-Hit) Detmers (5-5, 3.82 ERA) who is making his second season memorable. He has allowed only 94 hits in 113 innings and defeated Seattle 7-1 on August 6 going seven innings giving up one run to post the win. The Mariners will send Marco Gonzalez (10-13, 3.89) to the hill and he has been hittable allowing more hits than innings pitched. The Angles of won 4-of-5 at home against left-handed starters. Take LA ANGELS! |
09-18-22 | Seahawks v. 49ers -9 | 7-27 | Win | 100 | 21 h 51 m | Show
Seattle at San Francisco 4:25 ET 49ers (-) over Seahawks- Geno for MVP as Megabucks win outright Monday night and now it's back out to sea for the 'Hawks and they will face a defensive storm in San Francisco. I really don't expect Seattle to win more than one or two more games this season and the slide starts here. Seattle's defense made two goal-line stands in the second half and limited Denver to a pair of field goals on four trips to the red zone and three Broncos fumbled twice entering the end zone. The Seahawks are 4-12 ATS after a SU win while the 49ers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Look for 'keep it n your pants' Lance to have a better outing. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |

New England at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Patriots over Steelers- This one really turned my head as the Patriots opened the favorite and the piece has on gotten higher as the week progressed and the 'action' appears to be on the Steelers. What does that tell ya/ I know what it says to me and it is difficult to understand why Pittsburgh isn't the favorite. 'We' (me) need for this game to be BOGUS to win. Remember what my friend by the dearly departed Larry Ness would say 'Officials are there to see that the players have nothing to do with the outcome of the game.' I sure hope so here.
