08-15-16 | Royals v. Tigers -127 | 3-1 | Loss | -127 | 4 h 60 m | Show
081516 Play on: 4* (914) Detroit (Norris) over KC (Kennedy) Like the situation Detroit (63-54) is in tonight, considering they are off back-to-back shutout wins over Texas (69-50). They show here using lefty Norris forging his second start, while bringing a 1-0 record with a 3.75 ERA L3 appearances. RHP Kennedy (6-9, 3.91) hits the bump for Kansas City (57-60) with the hurler looking to break an eight game winless streak, no less in a difficult park. The Royals have been horrid on the road of late battling >.600 units with an 0-7 record. With Kennedy off 4 days of rest the Royals are 0-6. The hurler carries a 4.34 ERA life time with a 0-3 record against Detroit. Finally, we like the position Detroit is in being rested at home, and 9-2 off a win. |
|||||||
08-14-16 | Angels v. Indians -180 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 17 m | Show
5* (968) Cleveland (Bauer) over LAA (Weaver) @1:10 Eastern To be brief the Indians have a net +36 win advantage in their base record over the Angels in 2016. The left coast bunch has fallen on hard times losing 9 straight games, while faltering yesterday bringing only one base hit to the playing field. The Angels are now 6-22 against RHP. Today, veteran RHP Weaver (8-9, 5.19) gets the call. The hurler is 7-2 life time in Cleveland with a 2.99 ERA. However, we would need more support than Weaver’s record to solidifying taking the road side of the ledger. Remember, the Indians, despite some injuries, have won three straight games, while going 6-0 vs. the ALW. And, they have a history of beating up on bad teams 24-8 vs. |
|||||||
08-14-16 | Rays v. Yankees -104 | 12-3 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 54 m | Show
081416 4* (964) New York (Severino) over Tampa Bay (Odorizzi) @ 1:05 Eastern The only factor that has kept a conservative line is the recent outings by RHP Odorizzi (6-5, 3.69) of Tampa Bay. Since the break the articulate hurler leads the AL in earned run averages with a 1.13. He is 3-2 this season on the road with 4.33 ERA. More important at Yankee Stadium in 5 starts, carries a 1-1 record and 6.00 ERA. Odorizzi is 4-5 (4.23) in his career when facing the Yankees. The New Yorkers continued streaking yesterday in the A-Rod exit dissertation at Yankee Stadium. Today manager Gerardi uses RHP Severino after a short mound stint in the minors working on his breaking stuff. One major item of note, the hurler has an outstanding arm and will challenge the opposition. In two starts against TB the he is 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA. NY shows 34-24 at home, winners of 4 straight overall and 4-0 versus the ALE, while TB shows 1-5 L6 in Yankee Stadium. Also, the Rays come in 12-41 on the road versus >.500 units. In closing when umpire Hirschbeck is calling balls and strikes the Yankees are 6-0 and 23-4 at home in Sunday games. |

08-13-16 | Mariners -131 v. A's | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 5 h 11 m | Show
081316 Play on: 4* (923) Seattle (Iwakuma) over Oakland (Graveman) @ 9:05 Eastern RHP Iwakuma (13-7, 3.79) is coming off a super 7 inning stint against Detroit allowing just 5 hits and no earned runs. In his last three outings, the hurler has been solid 2-1, with a 2.60 ERA. He is 12-3 with a 3.49 ERA last 15 starts. In two starts against Oakland this year he is 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA. The Mariners are 4-0 in game #2 of a series and 6-0 going up against RHP. Graveman regained some control last time out and beat the “Orioles.” He threw 7 innings surrendering just 1 earned, but he does have a 5+ ERA last three starts. However, Graveman is 0-1 with a 5+ ERA against Seattle in two outings this season. And, Oakland shows 1-4 in game #2 of a series. Overall, we must back Seattle considering Iwakuma has accrued solid support from his unit carving a nice 7-1 mark in Saturday editions. Already SWEPT this afternoon w/Toronto/Under! |

08-13-16 | Rockies -108 v. Phillies | 3-6 | Loss | -108 | 10 h 22 m | Show
Play on: 4* (907) Colorado (Anderson) over Philadelphia (Eichoff) @ 7:05 Eastern Last night we picked up a super winner backing the OVER, even knowing Gonzalez would not play for the Rockies. Despite the win the Philadelphia bullpen was once again quite salty. In addition, last night was an emotional win for the home team with the organization celebrating their former champions and manager Charlie Manuel. So, we expect some sort of an emotional letdown here. Colorado helps the cause with lefty Anderson (4-3, 3.04) a solid rookie starter who defeated Philly back on July 9th surrendering only 2 earned runs in 6 innings. Anderson is 1-0 with a super 1.80 ERA L3 on the docket. The Phillies use youngster Eichoff who has looked good this season with a 7-12 mark and a 3.78 ERA. However, he was touched up last out on the road against the Padres with 4 earned runs in 6 innings. Also, Philadelphia shows a horrid 8-22 off a win and 1-6 in game #2 of a series. The visiting Rockies look to rebound off a double-digit run smash last night. Remember too, Colorado is a perfect 5-0 in Saturday editions, 5-1 in game #2 sets. With Colorado 5-1 in Anderson’s last six start, we’ll back the avenging unit this evening. Good Luck. |

08-13-16 | Rockies v. Phillies UNDER 8 | 3-6 | Loss | -130 | 10 h 2 m | Show
Play on: 3* (907/908) Colorado/Philadelphia UNDER 8-8-1/2 Tough call no doubt with the Rockies and Phillies having issues in the pen, and with Philadelphia running 7 straight OVER! Not discouraging, but pointing out that we are accruing some line value because of the Philly and Colorado issues. When you look at what hurler Eichoff (4-5, 2.92H) has done this season with a struggling unit for the most part, it’s amazing. He does have a 1-1 mark L3 with a 2.50 ERA last 18 innings out. The kid likes to pitch in the hot weather and it’s sweltering early this morning in Philly. Philadelphia with Eichoff is 6-0 UNDER on Saturday and 9-0 UNDER in game #2 encounters. In addition, the Phillies come 5-1 UNDER with the hurler off 5 days of rest. Supporting, Colorado’s Anderson is 5-1 UNDER after 4 days of rest. So appears the arms are ready to dictate game tempo, which is ideal in the hot weather, and we note Colorado is 4-0-1 UNDER off a team loss…UNDER! |
|||||||
08-13-16 | Astros v. Blue Jays -146 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 2 h 9 m | Show
Play on: 4* (916) Toronto (Sanchez) over Houston (McHugh) @ 1:05 Eastern The 5-3 final last night gave the Astros an important road win, after Toronto took 3-of-4 in the recent four game set down in Houston. In the current and former series Houston has won game #1. The resilient Astros use RHP McHugh (7-9, 4.69) who is 0-3 with an 8.59 ERA L3 starts. On the road the hurler carries a 3-5 record with a 5.25 ERA. He is 0-1 this season vs. Toronto allowing three earned runs, all home runs in a 6 inning stint recently. Toronto uses 24-year old RHP Sanchez (11-2, 2.85) who is 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA L3 outings. He did not pitch well recently in a road test at KC. Still, he is 4-1 with a 3.45 ERA at home this season. The Blue Jays are 13-9 with the hurler, while Sanchez has inked 18 quality starts in 2016. And, he threw well last year in his only start against Houston with 8 innings of work giving back just 1 earned run. Overall the Blue Jays pitching staff has surrendered 2 runs or less against Houston in 6-of-8 contests. Toronto has a 9-5 edge in the series at home. We realize Houston has won 5 straight, but with Sanchez on the hill the Blue Jays should survive. |
|||||||
08-13-16 | Astros v. Blue Jays UNDER 8.5 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 2 h 56 m | Show
Play on: 4* (915/916) Houston/Toronto UNDER 8-1/2 @ 1:05 Eastern Remember the series has been low scoring of late in six of eight games with Toronto pitching allowing two runs or less versus the Astros. In 2015 the four game series brought a combined run total of 15. The series has shot UNDER in 5 straight. Houston overall is 6-0-1 UNDER on turf, followed by a 13-3 UNDER record against the ALE. Toronto has been UNDER 8 straight versus a hurler with 1.30+ WHIP and 6-0 UNDER challenging the ALW. With the Blue Jays a perfect 4-0 UNDER behind Sanchez at home, stay UNDER this afternoon. |
|||||||
08-12-16 | Orioles -121 v. Giants | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
081216 Play on: 4* Baltimore (Bundy) over San Francisco (Cain) @ 10:15 Eastern The Orioles and Giants do battle in a critical interleague game for each as the units battle for first place in their respective divisions. San Francisco is 48-23 overall in interleague games, but they show 0-6 against the American League East. Since the break, the Giants are 8-16, and despite RHP Cain in good form the task is daunting versus RHP Bundy and the Orioles. Remember Bundy has allowed only 5 runs in his last 23-2/3 innings of work. And, Baltimore is 5-0 L5 goes versus RHP during interleague play. A good sign for the visitors was the 9 run outburst against Oakland, while SF is 6-14 with Cain off 5 days of rest. Finally, despite the road setting, Baltimore is somewhat rested considering they stayed in the same hotel for their series with Oakland…Baltimore! |
|||||||
08-12-16 | Rockies v. Phillies OVER 8.5 | 6-10 | Win | 100 | 6 h 2 m | Show
4* Phillies/Colorado OVER the total The line movement up from "8" was obvious considering the Phillies are on a 6-0 OVER run, 11-of-14 high to be exact. Colorado has been OVER 10-3-1 with RHP Gray (8-5, 4.26) on the hill after a loss. In addition, the Rockies have been OVER 4-of-5 when playing a game against the National League East. The Phillies promising youngster Thompson (0-1, 12.46) who was wacked on the road recently against San Diego allowing 6 earned runs in just 4-1/3 innings. Granted the recent series between these two have been under and Gonzalez might not play tonight for the Rockies. However, this looks like another high scoring game for the Phillies have been having pen issues of late. Plus, Gray comes off 3-2/3 innings of work against Miami allowing 8 earned runs and 10 hits. With the wind blowing out to right this evening at CBP expect a high scoring game. |
|||||||
08-12-16 | Angels v. Indians -155 | 3-13 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show
Play on: 3* Cleveland (Carrasco) over LA Angels (Skaggs) @ 7:10 Difficult to access $1.60 price at this writing, but the Angels give us much help. LA has lost 7 straight, 6 games on the road most recently. The road losses were to the Mariners, Cubs and Indians units that average 69 wins this season. Obviously, the left coast bunch can’t handle quality foes, and show a miserable 23-36 on the road. Even with some huge bats in the lineup they have a 0.96 home run average per game, Cleveland has a 1.32 stat in comparison. Run differentials have Cleveland +90, going up against a -20 for LAA. Hurler Carrasco of Cleveland is coming off a much better outing than Skaggs last time out, although the Angels are 6-2 with the hurler off a loss. Still, the Indians appear to have a creditable hurler, and as a team bring a super 9-1 record versus LHP. Considering Cleveland’s 21-6 mark in Friday editions overall and 5-1 with Carrasco you have a basis for play. Finally, Cleveland has won 6-of-7 against the Angels, 4-0 at home…Cleveland! |
|||||||
08-11-16 | Astros -114 v. Twins | Top | 15-7 | Win | 100 | 11 h 35 m | Show |
081116 Play on: (909) 10* Houston (Fister only) over Minnesota (Berrios only) @ 1:10 Eastern MLB GAME OF THE WEEK Brad Diamond Sports Houston despite the road hurts is a much better entry than the inconsistent Twins, even on the road. First off, RHP Fister (10-7, 3.47) is coming in off a nice 6 innings of work against Texas surrendering just one earned run. Berrios (2-2, 8.31) was hit around by TB for four earned runs in 5 innings of labor. More important with Fister, the Astros are an almost perfect 9-1 off a team loss. Houston with Fister is red hot 7-1 during road sets. With Minnesota 9-25 against RHP and 1-4 in the first game of a DH, we’re backing the visitor Houston this afternoon. Good Luck! If we are successful this afternoon, check back 5:30 Eastern for an update. |

08-10-16 | Indians v. Nationals -123 | Top | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 4 h 21 m | Show |
08-10-16 | Indians v. Nationals OVER 8 | Top | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 4 h 20 m | Show |
08-09-16 | Orioles -134 v. A's | 1-2 | Loss | -134 | 15 h 59 m | Show
Play on: 4* Baltimore (Miley) over Oakland (Neal) @ 10:05 The Orioles limped out of a road set with Oakland last night as the hard hitting lineup came up short with Davis, Trumbo, Alvarez and Weiters going 1-16. Machado stayed red hot, but the Birds can’t allow a unit with lesser talent to pluck winnable games, no matter the site. Historically, Baltimore has suffered in Oakland going 17-39. Tonight the Orioles who sit atop first place by .002 (63-48) in the AL East over the surging Blue Jays, come in with a 22-13 mark in game #2 of a series this season, Oakland 11-17. The Orioles use acquired lefty Miley who comes off a tough outing against Texas surrendering 4 earned runs in 5 innings of work. But, the hurler did throw well in his prior start at Wrigley vs. the Cubs holding those productive bats to one earned run in 7 innings of work. He has pitched into some tough spots this season, but looks to get up in the win column against 49-63 Oakland. He does have a 3.50 ERA last three appearances. Opposing hurler Neal of Oakland has been a reliever allowing no earned runs in his last four outings (9-1/3), but he has not faced the Orioles. Although Baltimore has a losing series record last 5 years on this field, they do show 7-2 L9 vs. Oakland. Further to which, Baltimore has a huge runs differential edge +37 vs. -93 for the A’s. Oakland is -33 runs net at home in 2016. The Orioles last six games on their schedule have reversed out the prior result (W, L, W, L, W, L), while going 4-0 after an opponent had allowed 2 or less runs in their prior game. Lefty Miley is 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA life time mark against Oakland, while the A’s are 29-59 going up against left-handed hurlers. With the A’s 1-6 versus >.500 units, make it Baltimore tonight. |
|||||||
08-09-16 | White Sox -137 v. Royals | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 24 h 31 m | Show
(919) 4* Chicago (Sale) over Kansas City (Volquez) @ 8:15 Eastern Cagey lefty Sale of the White Sox gets the road start against the Royals tonight. The hurler has been super on the road this season with a solid 7-3 record and a 2.16 ERA. He is coming off a road effort versus Detroit throwing 8 innings of 6 hit baseball allowing just 2 earned runs. He is now carrying a 1.64 ERA L3 times out. Against the Royals the lefty brings a 2.96 ERA. Chicago comes in 12-4 with Sale after a quality start and 9-3 off 5 days of rest. On the negative side, the Sox are just 19-29 against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Chicago was swept last time here as their pen was in default during the late innings. Sale is opposed by RHP Volquez (8-10, 4.99). Volquez was just rocked in Tampa Bay allowing 11 hits and 7 runs in 5 innings of work. Over the last three times out the hurler has been on a downer generating a 0-2 record with a 6.88 ERA. With 5 days of rest behind Volquez the Royals are 1-4 L5 times out and 0-8 against left-handers of late. Although the Sox are playing inconsistently of late, this is a revenge series of great magnitude. If Chicago wants to make a run for the division, this could be huge stepping stone type series. With the Sox desperate to rebound, back the revived up visitor to take game #1. |
|||||||
08-09-16 | Rays v. Blue Jays UNDER 9 | 9-2 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 11 m | Show
Play on: (913/914) 4* Tampa Bay/Toronto UNDER 9 @ 7:05 Eastern After garnishing the Rays last night 7-5 the Blue Jays look to take first place from the Orioles by winning again tonight. However, the task should be more difficult with lefty Smyly of Tampa Bay finally rounding into form. In his last three starts the hurler put together a solid 19 innings giving up just 5 earned runs (2.84). Against KC he struck out 10 hitters. Challenging Toronto he has thrown back-to-back solid outings surrendering 3 earned runs in 11 innings. Also, he is 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA at Rogers in his career. On the other side of ledger, Toronto brings savvy RHP Estrada (7-4, 2.92) to the hill with incredible consistent numbers in 2016. Estrada has allowed 3 runs or less in his last 12 starts. He is 1-0 with a 2.37 ERA L3 times out. Granted the series has gone OVER (5-1-2) of late, but numbers tell us a different story here. In fact, Toronto is 7-0 UNDER vs. LHP and 8-1 UNDER L9 time out. And, 5-0 UNDER off a win. The visiting Rays show 5-0 UNDER going up against a hurler with |

08-03-16 | Rangers v. Orioles OVER 8.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
7:05 Eastern (915/916) 4* Texas/Baltimore OVER the total Realize we are going against streaking numbers for Baltimore UNDER the total, however, the additional bats acquired by the Rangers and with the run support generated when Cole Hamels hits the box, we’ll go high tonight in Baltimore. Texas (62-45) has strong trending numbers 10-1 OVER on Wednesday, and 3-0-1 OVER with Hamels game #2 of a series. And, 16-4-1 OVER with the hurler off a quality start. Baltimore (60-45) shows 4-0 OVER with Gausman in Wednesday, while total has OVER 4-1 when umpire Scheurwater is calling balls and strikes. In his last outing Gausman was roughed up by Toronto in three innings of work surrendering 6 hits and 6 runs, so his form definitely in question…OVER! |

07-31-16 | Pirates -153 v. Brewers | Top | 2-4 | Loss | -153 | 3 h 2 m | Show |
10* (957) Pittsburgh over Milwaukee LHP Liriano of the Pirates is the key for the win this afternoon. The struggling hurler might be in for a bit of good luck. First, an emotional player in Lucroy is gone, and now Braun is banged up. This just maybe the emotional edge the hurler needs in a tough road test vs. a unit winning three straight. Liriano leads the league in walk, but did throw a quality start in on 07/21 vs. Milwaukee after going 6 2/3 innings allowing just 4 hits and 2 earned runs, with 13 SOs. He did fall short recently at home against Seattle as he could only manage 38 strikes. His problem is trying to cut the corners with breaking stuff. The Pirates are 4-1 on Sunday's with umpire Winters calling balls and strikes. Supporting we find the Pirates 8-1 with Liriano on Sunday and 6-1 game #3 of a series. Remember, the Brewers are 0-11 in game #3 of a series and 0-6 on Sunday. |

07-30-16 | Phillies v. Braves UNDER 7.5 | Top | 9-5 | Loss | -115 | 23 h 37 m | Show |
Play on: 10* (904) ATLANTA/Phillies UNDER 7-1/2 @ 7:10 Eastern After going 1-2 yesterday we look to bounce back with our NL East Total of the Year. The suffering Phillies have averaged three runs or less the last ten of fifteen encounters. In addition, they have supported offensive frustrations stranding at least 9 (LOB) over the last week and half. Now they must face talented RHP Teheran of Atlanta who has been sidelined recently with a minor injury. For sure, the Braves don’t back the hurler scoring only 2.5 runs in his 2016 outings. RHP Hellickson opposes today with a decent 7-7 record and a 3.65 ERA, not bad coming out of a struggling offensive unit. The hurler has been showing some improvement of late with 1.89 ERA in his most recent mound appearances. In this last outing against Atlanta the hurler was superlative. Remember, this series has been a consistent UNDER play 11-4-1 L16 times out. Combing starts for Hellickson and Teheran, the total has shot UNDER 5-of-6. With the data and the situation, we go UNDER as our NL East Total of the Year! |
|||||||
07-29-16 | Cardinals v. Marlins OVER 8 | 11-6 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show
4* (951/952) STL/Miami OVER 8-1/2 Combined these units have shot OVER this season 105-92. In their last three games, the Marlins have averaged 6.7 runs per game, while STL is off back-to-back win averaging 5 runs. The Cardinals come into action 4-0 OVER with Leake after 5 days of rest and 5-1 OVER game #2 sets. The Marlins have been HIGH 4 straight at home vs. >.600 road unit and 5-1 OVER game #2 encounters. In addition, they are OVER 4-of-5 vs. the NLC. Hence, the series has been a solid OVER play of late achieving a 5-1 score...OVER! |

07-29-16 | Astros v. Tigers UNDER 9 | 6-14 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 48 m | Show
5* (971/972) Houston/Detroit UNDER 9 |
|||||||
07-29-16 | Rockies v. Mets UNDER 7.5 | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 5 h 45 m | Show
3* (953/954) COLORADO/METS UNDER 7 With Chatwood and Matz in the box this "should" be a low scoring game. The series has been a monster UNDER 23-9-1 in NY and 5-0 UNDER last five battles. With umpire Guccione calling balls and strikes the total has shot UNDER in 5 straight. Colorado 4-0 UNDER off a win and 5-0 UNDER when Chatwood throws after 4 days off. Finally, with lefty Matz coming off a six inning shutout of Miami and Cespedes most likely unavailable...UNDER! |
|||||||
07-29-16 | Orioles v. Blue Jays -134 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 21 h 6 m | Show
072916 5* (966) Toronto (Estrada) over Baltimore (Gausman) MLB GAME OF THE WEEK Check out the Jays this evening in a “must win” mid-season war for first place in the American League East. Key angles, include a day of rest for Toronto (Thursday). And, on Wednesday Toronto rested Martin, Saunders and Tulowitzki to help increase their odds of taking this huge series. The Orioles throw Gausman (2-7, 3.77) who is a different pitcher when on the road….0-6 with a 4.94 ERA to be exact. Baltimore is 0-6 with Gausman in Friday editions. Toronto comes in 9-3 vs. >.500 units and 4-0 with Estrada against the American League East. We close with the Blue Jays a massive 53-22 in Canada against Baltimore. Good Luck! |
|||||||
07-28-16 | Phillies v. Braves OVER 7.5 | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 40 m | Show
4* (905/906) Atlanta/Philadelphia OVER the total of 7-1/2 Granted this has been an UNDER series of late, especially in Atlanta. However, there are two key "change" characteristics that project this opposite for this evening. First, RHP Nola of the Phillies has been roughed up the last three-of-four outings surrendering a 5+ runs average. On the other hand, Atlanta came alive offensively last night (for a change) against Minnesota. Only once in the prior ten games did the Braves score more than three runs. And, Atlanta is a perfect 5-0 OVER off a win. With the Phillies 7-0 OVER backing Nola off 4 days of rest and 6-0 OVER in his road starts, we are high tonight in Atlanta...OVER! |
|||||||
07-27-16 | A's v. Rangers UNDER 9 | 6-4 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 23 m | Show
5* Texas/Oakland (962) UNDER the total |

07-27-16 | Nationals v. Indians UNDER 7.5 | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
07-27-16 | Phillies +1.5 v. Marlins | 1-11 | Loss | -140 | 4 h 39 m | Show
4* PHILLIES +1-1/2 RUNS over Miami As we predicted the Marlins behind the "G" man came up big last night in an easy win over visiting Philadelphia. This time around we are using the Phillies with Eflin (3-3, 3.40) in a bounce back encounter with +1-1/2 runs of support. In his last outing, the hurler threw a 9 inning gem at Pittsburgh allowing just 3 hits and no runs. The Mets bring lefty Conley (6-5, 3.58) to the box off 6 innings against the Mets surrendering just 2 earned runs. However, it seems recently when the hurler is strong and forges a quality start, he tends to have a fall off 1-4 L5 scenario's. The Marlins come in 0-4 after their opponent allows 5 or more runs and 1-5 on Wednesday. Take the scripted value and +1-1/2 run with Philadelphia. |

4* (967/968) Colorado/Baltimore OVER 9-1/2 With lineup injuries by the Orioles and bull pen support their total record shows 9-0 UNDER last nine times out. However, with Gallardo (5.61) and Delarosa (6.07) competing the number should exceed the posted amount. Remember, the Rockies are coming off a huge road win and project 4-0 OVER in Interleague starts with Delarosa. They are 7-1 OVER in game #1 and 5-0 OVER in game #1 of IL series. The Orioles come in with a hefty 27-9-2 OVER mark vs. the ALW. Good Luck. |

07-24-16 | Angels v. Astros OVER 9.5 | 3-13 | Win | 111 | 5 h 51 m | Show
5* (923/924) Houston/LAA Over 9-1/2 Despite the inflated total number, we will go HIGH on Sunday. Both hurlers, Fiers (2-3, 6.59) and Lincecum (6-4, 4.75) have been wacked around lately each showing with a 6+ ERA last three times out. The visiting unit compounds the angle with a 3-0-1 OVER mark on the road and versus RHP. And, LAA has gone OVER 14-4-3 versus an opponent scoring 5 or more runs in their last game. Houston brings fuel to the fire with majestic 4-0 OVER marks with RHP Fiers versus the ALW and after allowing 2 runs or less. Overall, Houston has been OVER at a 14-5 clip last 19 starts...OVER |

4* STL +1-1/2 (962) Runs over LA Dodgers @ 7:15 Eastern Going for the value with +1-1/2 runs backing Leake of St. Louis. The right hander is off one of his better outings throwing 6 innings against San Diego surrendering just 1 earned run. In contrast, the Dodgers use RHP Maeda was just smashed by Arizona for 5 earned runs and 7 hits in 4-1/3 innings of work. Granted the hurler is off 5+ days rest (5-1), but still can't trust the import after his last three outings carrying a 1-2 mark and a 5.87 ERA. The Cards are a perfect 7-0 vs. the NLW and 5-0 against a unit with a losing road record...STL +1-1/2 Runs. |

5* (929/930) SF/New York UNDER 7-1/2 @ 7:05 Eastern Tonight we catch two hot hurlers surfacing in Yankee Stadium in what once was a cross town rivalry too many years ago. The San Francisco Giants bring lefty Bumgarner (10-5, 2.12) to the box carrying a 1.71 ERA last three times out. New York uses ace RHP Tanaka (7-2, 3.15) who has been on fire of late with a 2-0 mark and a 1.96 ERA record. Last time out Tanaka threw 6 innings with 3 hits allowed and just 1 earned run against the hard hitting Boston Red Sox. The last six games in New York has the series UNDER in 6 straight, 3-0-1 UNDER L4 overall. At this writing, the Yankees have shot UNDER in 7 straight and 8-0 UNDER when facing a winning unit. With Bumgarner the Giants are UNDER 4 straight when scoring 5 or more runs. |

4* KC (Kennedy) +1-1/2 Runs over Cleveland (Carrasco) @ 2:15 Eastern Hard press to go against (Carrasco) Cleveland here, but the Royals RHP Kennedy has shown a dual personality this season. He has a super 3-0 mark at home with a 1.46 ERA at home, while going 6-7 with a 3.86 ERA overall. In this series KC is 5-1 at home and 40-16 overall (home) vs. >.500 unit. Cleveland's hurler Carrasco (2.49) has put together a nice 6-3 record, but he is 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA against KC this season. The Indians are 14-6 vs. RHP of late. Still, prefer the Royals in this bounce back position at home considering Kennedy's ERA at home and the KC record of 4-1 off a loss. We are taking the +1-1/2 runs now and the current pricing. GL. |

07-20-16 | Twins +1.5 v. Tigers | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 5 h 26 m | Show
4* Minnesota +1-1/2 Runs over Detroit Granted the Tigers have taken 7-of-8 vs. the Twins and use RHP Verlander (3.14) who has won 16 of 24 against Minnesota. Still, there is some creditable numbers that point to Santana and the Twins with some help in the runs column. The Twins have won 4 straight against RHP and an amazing 10-of-12 on the road versus quality units with a +.500 mark. This is a clear indicator Minnesota gets up for the better foes on foreign soil. Santana in his career has done solid work against Detroit with a 9-3 record and a 3.27 ERA. Detroit with Verlander are 4-10 vs. ALC and 4-9 against losing units...Minny +1-1/2. |

07-20-16 | Braves v. Reds UNDER 9 | 3-6 | Push | 0 | 6 h 59 m | Show
3* Atlanta/Cincinnati (901/902) UNDER 9 This series has shot UNDER 4-of-5, and with umpire Hernandez calling balls and strikes on Wednesday with the Reds the score has gone UNDER 4 straight. Now they are the basics but, we must note the Braves use reliever Harrell (1-1, 3.63) because of rotation issues versus hot RHP DeSclafani (4-0, 2.55) of Cincinnati. The Reds hurler has won 4 straight with a 2.67 ERA in his last five starts. We know he has a shaky 5+ ERA against Atlanta, but his current form seems much more viable here. Harrell has a 3.60 ERA against the Reds in just 5 innings because of his reliever situation. When you compile the Braves "hot" 6-0 UNDER mark vs. RHP and 6-1 UNDER record in game #3 of a series the UNDER becomes vivid. Remember too, with DeSclafani (4-0, 2.55) the Reds are 3-0-1 UNDER off a quality start. In closing, Cincinnati has gone UNDER 8-3 with the hurler after 4 days of rest...UNDER! |

5* (971/972) Texas/LAA OVER the totalGranted the series overall has been low lately, can't discount up splurge yesterday by these two in the runs department. The Angels bring reclamation project Timmy Lincecum, while the struggling Rangers use Lohse. Yesterday the 14 run break out gives us a good lead into this encounter, especially with the Angels winners of 4 straight. LAA is OVER 10-4-1 home and 16-5-2 with umpire Wegner using calls balls and strikes. The Rangers come in a perfect 6-0-1 OVER vs. |

071816 (914) 4* Kansas City +1-1/2 Runs (Volquez) over Cleveland (Kluber) @ 8:15 Eastern The Indians (54-37) have a net +18 game advantage over the home standing Royals (46-45). And, they have been playing more consistent ball of late on the road…10-of-13. In addition, Cleveland comes in 20-7 off a win. They use veteran RHP Kluber (9-8, 3.61) who shows off 8 solid innings vs. the Yankees allowing just 5 hits and 1 earned run. He is 5-4 (3.88) on the road this season. Kluber in his career is 6-6 with a 3.45 ERA vs. the Royals. The Indians, however, are 0-8 on Monday’s with Kluber and 4-13 in game #1 starts. Lastly, Cleveland with Kluber come in 0-5 in road starts in the series. Tonight KC will use RHP Volquez (8-8, 4.85) who throws off 6 innings vs. Seattle surrendering 6 hits and 3 earned runs. KC has backed Volquez at home going 20-6 L26 starts and 29-13 as a unit overall at home. The Royals show RED HOT at 14-2 at home against the ALC foes…Kansas City. |

07-17-16 | Dodgers v. Diamondbacks UNDER 8.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 40 m | Show
4* 961/962...LA/Arizona UNDER 8-1/2 Check out the Dodgers and Snakes Sunday for a classic pitching duel. Yesterday Arizona survived 2-1 in a classic pitching show. This time around the Dodgers use import Maeda (8-6, 2.95) who has super smooth on the road with a 5-1, 2.62 ERA. He shows off a super 7 inning joust with San Diego allowing just 2 hits and 1 earned run. Against Arizona Maeda is 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA vs. Arizona. The Snakes bring lefty Ray (4-8, 4.81) who brings decent numbers versus the Dodgers career wise with a 2-2 record and a 2.46 ERA. Overall, the series is trending UNDER 6-2 before Sunday. With Umpire Barrett calling balls and strikes on Sunday the total is RED HOT 6-1-1 UNDER. In closing, the Snakes show a PERFECT 6-0 UNDER after allowing 2 or less runs, while the Dodgers come 8-2 UNDER vs. LHP...UNDER! |

07-17-16 | Dodgers -163 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -163 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
10* LA (Maeda) over Arizona (Ray) @ 4:10 Eastern Can't help marking this as a TOP PLAY with the Dodgers off a 2-1 loss yesterday to Arizona. After all, the series has LA in command with a 40-16 edge. On the hill this afternoon RHP Maeda looks to lead the Dodgers back to the winning column with his majestic 5-1 road mark this season supported by a nice 2.62 ERA. He shows off 7 innings against the Padres allowing just 1 earned run. He is 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA vs. Arizona. Arizona use lefty Ray (4-8, 4.81) who has been rocked at home this season with a 2-4 mark and a 5.92 ERA. Over his last three outings the hurler has struggled with a 5+ ERA and a 0-2 mark. The Snakes show 3-13 L16 times out and 1-6 in a game #3 set with Ray. Los Angeles comes PERFECT 9-0 after allowing 2 or less runs in their last game. |

07-17-16 | Mets -163 v. Phillies | 5-0 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show
4* Mets (deGrom) over Phillies entry deGrom has never lost to the Phillies and shows with a 3.03 ERA in the three wins. More important, he is sharp right now and should be able to extract a measure of revenge after the Mets salty performance on Saturday. Remember too, New York comes in 21-8 in Philly and run with a PERFECT 6-0 mark behind deGrom vs. the Broad Streeters! Good Luck. |
|||||||
07-17-16 | Royals v. Tigers -146 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show
5* Detroit (Fulmer) over KC (Ventura) @ 1:10 Eastern Having watched every pitch of our KC winner yesterday, I can based internal casual recognition that the Tigers are ready to bounce back. Detroit shot themselves in the foot on a few fronts Saturday, so we are looking for a rebound here. First, the scary stuff, the Royals 4-0 last four with Ventura goes against Detroit (06/17). In their last test Fulmer of Detroit went 5-2/3 innings allowing just 1 run with KC winning. However, when go into the Fulmer chart you find the rookie has been red hot on the diamond last 9 starts with a 0.63 ERA...7-1. And, this is a revenge game with the Tigers 10-1 L11 starts by Fulmer and 8-1 vs. a hurler with 1.30+ WHIP. Remember, Ventura and KC are 0-6 vs. >.500 units this season...DETROIT REBOUND! |

07-16-16 | Royals -125 v. Tigers | 8-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 49 m | Show
4* KC (Duffy) over Detroit (Pelfrey)...would normally not go against the Tigers with a lefty on the hill, but the Royals (Duffy) off 8+ days rest are 10-1 L11. Also, with RHP Pelfrey showing off a quality start, the Tigers have dropped 4 straight games. Also, Detroit overall is just 2-8 against the Central, so we look for a major rebound Saturday by KC. Good Luck! |

07-16-16 | Orioles -128 v. Rays | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
4* Orioles (Tillman) over Tampa Bay (Moore) Birds have won 6 straight versus the Rays, while TB comes in 0-5 L5 with lefty Moore against Baltimore. RHP Tillman (12-1, 3.41) has been money in the bank for Buck & Company as they show 10-1 with Tillman versus the ALE. They are a perfect 4-0 in game #2 of a series and 7-0 OVERALL vs. the ALE. Tampa Bay is 4-11 L15 starts by Moore who has a 4-6 (4.13) career record against Baltimore. This season Moore is 0-2 with a 5+ ERA vs. Baltimore...ORIOLES! |
|||||||
07-16-16 | Astros v. Mariners UNDER 8 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 6 h 23 m | Show
4* 919/920...Houston/Seattle UNDER 8 Go inside for a super pitching duel on Saturday afternoon out in Seattle. Granted RHP Iwakuma of Seattle has a rough line to penetrate considering his 10 innings of work this season allowing 14 hits and 8 earned runs against Houston. But, the Mariners have shown an 8-2 mark L10 with the right hander. And, we look for a "gut check" performance by Iwakuma with the home field win a must situation for Seattle. The Mariners, usually supports the hurler with runs as they have shot OVER in 7-of-8 at home. To the contrary, this is a completely different situational spot considering the Houston recent domination in the series, and with McCullers going for the Astros. Houston is 11-4 UNDER L15 on the road and 7-0 UNDER vs. the ALW. McCullers offering this season against the Mariners showed 7 innings of work with just 5 hits and 1 earned run. Remember too, with balls and strikes umpire O'Nora on Saturday the total has gone UNDER 6-of-7...UNDER! |
|||||||
07-16-16 | Red Sox v. Yankees OVER 9.5 | 5-2 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 56 m | Show
4* Boston/New York OVER 9-1/2 Granted with either hurler in the box, the total has shot UNDER in 4 straight games. However, the OVER seems more viable in a situation where "arms" were extended last night via the opposing pens. And, Saturday afternoon tilts have historic offensive out breaks in Yankee Stadium. Remember too, Sabathia and Rodriguez were whacked last time out via road settings in Cleveland and Tampa Bay. LHP Sabathia has been fire for the opposition as the Yankee foes have crushed the veteran for 21 earned runs last four starts. Granted lefty Rodriquez (1-3, 8.59) has pitched well in the Bronx, and he is coming off a solid stint down in the minors; but this situation clearly breaks rank with common sense thinking as this is the "pennant drive" season and teams in baseball should continue their home run binge with so much at stake. The Sox are OVER 57-28-3 vs. |

07-15-16 | Brewers v. Reds -131 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 13 h 18 m | Show
4* Cincinnati (DeScalafani) over Milwaukee (Garza) Using a losing team (Reds) out of the box after the break is an indicator the opposition has negative situational traits that are worth utilizing. First off, the Brewers with Garza have lost 4 straight road starts, although Milwaukee is 4-1 with hurler against Cincinnati. This gives conflicting data an edge but, RHP DeScalafani (3-0, 2.23) is 2-0 with a 2.18 ERA L3 times out, 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA at home. Garza is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA on the road. And, don't forget the Reds have played more effective baseball in this series at home going 8-3 L11 on the diamond. In closing, with young DeScalafani and Cincinnati 4-0 game #1 scenario's...REDS! |

4* LAA (Tropeano) over Baltimore (Gallardo) @ 4:05 Eastern Orioles pitching numbers (TERA 4.42) taking a hit of late, but at least during June the Birds hitters (56 home runs) were supportive. Baltimore, though, is now 2-5 in July averaging 4 runs a game. They come off a loss to the Angels Friday and now possess a 1-4 record in Grab Town vs. LAA. On the road the Angels are 5-3 L8 averaging 8+ runs a game, but remember the 21 run out burst against Boston is part of the equation. Today, LA brings RHP Tropeano (3-2, 3.28) to the hill possessing a solid 2-1 road mark supported by a 2.78 ERA. The Orioles use veteran Gallardo (3-1, 6.10) who was just hit around in an abbreviated 4 inning stint versus the Dodgers surrendering 6 hits and 4 runs. The Orioles staff at all levels is worn out, seemingly. The Angels have won 6 straight with hurler Tropeano going up against a winning team, while being 4-0 with the hurler on the road. With Baltimore sliding (2-6 L8), we'll back the Angels this afternoon down in Camden Yards. |

07-09-16 | Braves v. White Sox UNDER 7.5 | 4-5 | Loss | -115 | 4 h 48 m | Show
5* (979/980) CWS/Atlanta UNDER 7-1/2 Would not generate a solution normally with Quintana (6-8, 3.06) throwing but, the hurler is coming off a super 7 innings at Houston allowing just 2 hits and 1 earned run. Quintana has a 2.51 ERA in interleague outings. In addition, the Sox have been UNDER 10-of-11 with the hurler off a quality start. The Braves, on the other hand, bring RHP Teheran (3-7, 2.72) to the hill a down outing at home against the Marlins being shelled for 11 hits and 5 earned runs. However, on the road the hurler has a solid 2.10 ERA. Critical in Teheran's starts this season the Braves have been less than supportive scoring just 2.1 runs per game. In his 5 road starts the number has come up short, and while the Braves are 8-0 UNDER off a loss. Finally, the Braves have shot UNDER 4 straight with Teheran off 7 or more days rest. |

070816 4* (905/906) Washington/New York OVER the total @ 7:10 Eastern Always challenging going into a glaring pitchers’ duel, but the numbers generate some contrasting information. RHP Strasburg of Washington (11-0, 2.71) has yet to lose on the road with a 5-0 record and a 2.11 ERA, including his recent 6-2/3 innings of work against Cincinnati holding them scoreless with no hits. Opposing hurler Syndergaard of the Mets (9-3, 2.41) has been solid at home with a 5-1 (2.02) record. He shows off 7 solid innings against the Cubs surrendering only one run. However, when looking at the total series between these two, we note Washington with Strasburg has shot OVER in 5 straight, 4-1 OVER when on the road against the Mets. The Nationals have gone OVER in 8 straight with Strasburg off a quality start. And, the Mets and Syndergaard have gone OVER in 5 straight games and 7 straight OVER calls versus a >.500 unit. In runs the Nationals are averaging 5 runs per game last five games, while the Mets are averaging 6+ runs last five…OVER! |

07-06-16 | Angels v. Rays UNDER 9 | 7-2 | Push | 0 | 7 h 14 m | Show
5* TB/LAA UNDER 9 Tonight down in Florida we are looking to buck the current form of the Angels and Rays hurlers Weaver (6-7, 5.51) and Smyly (2-9, 5.33). As you know both have the potential to throw a shutout when in exacting form. Yesterday, the Angels smashed the Rays 13-5 scoring 6 runs in the top of the 9th to add insult to injury. In his last outing against the Rays, RHP Weaver of LAA threw 6 scoreless innings striking out 5 without a walk. He has a life time 5-5 record with a 3.64 ERA against Tampa Bay. The Angels come in 5-1 UNDER L6 versus a losing unit and 8-3-1 UNDER against port side hurlers. Tampa Bay's Smyly has not won in his last 8 starts and has a 0-2 mark with a 4.15 ERA versus LAA. Smyly has not faced the Angels in 2 years which should help his chances here. The Rays show 20-9-1 UNDER against RHP and 5-1 UNDER against the AL West. We close with Tama Bay 5-1 UNDER at home when challenging a losing unit. |

07-05-16 | Orioles v. Dodgers UNDER 7.5 | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 15 m | Show
5* (979/980) Baltimore/LA Dodgers UNDER 7-1/2 The Orioles continued on a hitting streak last night, but came up short in another road test at Los Angeles. From the hitting standpoint, though, having the Birds playing out of Camden Yards can somewhat circumvent their hitting style. The Orioles come into action 8-3 UNDER L11 versus a hurler with a WHIP of less than 1.15 (Maeda). Further, they show 28-13-4 UNDER in game #2 of a series with Tillman. The Dodgers too are a super UNDER squad in game #2 with a perfect 5-0 run. Besides LA comes 6-1 UNDER versus RHP and 38-13 UNDER after scoring 5 or more runs in their last game...UNDER! |

07-03-16 | Pirates v. A's -144 | 6-3 | Loss | -144 | 3 h 0 m | Show
5* Oakland (Mengden) over Pittsburgh (Liriano) Can't trust veteran LHP Liriano here considering in his last 6 starts, he has thrown bad numbers 0-5 with a 7+ ERA and 5 home runs in the mix. On the road the lefty is 1-4 with a 6.98 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP. RHP Mengden (1-3, 2.81) of Oakland comes in off his initial win of the season at SF where he allowed 2 earned, 4 hits in 7-2/3 innings of work. He has surrendered only 8 runs in 4 starts with the opposition hitting just .221. Overall the Pirates have won three straight and back-to-back games in Oakland, but they are just 2-6 in California inside the series. Oakland leads the series 11-3. So, with the Pirates 2-10 versus RHP and the A's 24-9 against LHP, the play is Oakland. |

4* Texas/Minnesota (971/972) OVER 8 With the line dropping because of the start being made by Cole Hamels (9-1, 2.60) nof Texas, we will jump in with some solid trends and angles. No doubt Hamels has been on fire with the Rangers winning 9 straight starts on the road. And, seemingly has won 16-of-18 starts dating back to August 1st 2015. As a group, however, the hurler is 7-2-1 OVER with the Rangers and 4-0 OVER in Sunday editions. Additionally, the Rangers have gone OVER 9-of-10 against AL Central. This season after scoring 5 or more runs, the visitor shows 19-12-1 OVER. Minnesota uses RHP Gibson (1-5, 5.12) who is trying to straighten out his season with an improved ERA of late, but he has yet to face Texas. He has given up 26 earned runs in 38-2/3 innings of work, while coming off his best outing of the year at Chicago. However, Gibson is a horrid 0-3 with a 4.40 ERA at home and the Twins show 22-6-1 OVER at home. Besides, Minny is a super 6-1 OVER against >.500 road units. In closing, we expect higher scoring game than the projected total, because Hamels has not bee raddled of late, and Gibson is not as solid as the CWS performance might indicate. Minnesota doubles one other time this season, the following game also went HIGH. |

07-03-16 | Cubs v. Mets OVER 6.5 | 3-14 | Win | 100 | 2 h 3 m | Show
3* Cubs/Mets OVER 6-1/2 This is a huge game for the Cubs after being swept (3-0) thus far in New York. In the last 5 games in the series these two have combined for 44 runs, including the 4-3 win yesterday by the Mets. New York comes 6-0 OVER when facing a winning unit and 6-0 OVER with RHP Syndergaard. This helps our cause since the hurler is coming off his worst start of the season versus Washington on the road surrendering 7 hits and 5 earned runs in only 3 innings of work. The Mets are OVER 5-2-1 vs. LHP. Also, remember, Syndergaard has a bone spur in his elbow. Chicago comes into action 6-1-2 OVER overall and 6-1-2 OVER on the road. Just as critical, the Cubs are 5-1-1 OVER with Lester in road sets and 6-0 versus RHP. At the current post of 6-1/2, the Cubs have gone OVER 3-of-4 and New York 5-of-8 OVER this season. Therefore, we are projecting a higher scoring game than the projected line. Good Luck! |

07/01/16 Play on: 4* Houston (Fiers) over Chicago (Gonzalez) @ 8:10 Eastern Tonight the Astros return home for an extended home stand. They start off by facing the White Sox who come off a 6-5 win at home against Minnesota, now winners of back-to-back games 7-of-10 on the docket. Houston has won 10-of-11 and attack off a solid month of June their best since 1989. On the hill, the White Sox start RHP Gonzalez (1-3, 5.17) who was just poached by Toronto for 8 runs in just 5-1/3 innings of work. He has a 0-2 mark with a 9+ ERA last three times out. The White Sox are 6-of-20 as an underdog of late and 5-13 in road games, and 3-12 versus RHP. Houston has won 7-of-8 when the total is a solid 9. With RHP Fiers they are 4-0 in game #1 of a series (4-0 vs. ALC) and 7-1-1 when the hurler is coming off 5 days of rest. Remember too, overall the Astros have been playing consistent solid baseball cashing 25-of-34…Houston! |

07-01-16 | Royals -122 v. Phillies | 3-4 | Loss | -122 | 8 h 29 m | Show
070116 5* (975) KANSAS CITY (Kennedy) over Philadelphia (H) (Hellickson) @ 7:05 Eastern Check out the Royals (42-36) tonight when they travel to Philadelphia to face the 35-45 Phillies. Philadelphia is showing after a super 9-8 road win against Arizona. The Phils are 2-9 off a win, and 3-13 L16 home games. In addition, they project poorly 1-5 L6 interleague games and 0-5 L5 versus RHP all together. As far as the key pitching advantage (?), seemingly it’s a wash as Kansas City uses RHP Kennedy off 7 strong innings (3 hits and 1 earned run) at home against Houston. He has a 3-5 road mark this season with a 5.36 ERA. The Royals are 0-4 with Kennedy off a quality start. Philadelphia throws RHP Hellickson (5-6, 4.23) who last pitched at AT&T Park holding down the Giants in a 6 inning stint, dividing out 5 hits and 1 earned run. He has a losing record last three outings and at home this season. The Phillies are 0-4 L4 when Hellickson comes in off a quality start and 1-6 L7 combined. Finally, Hellickson is 1-2 with a 5.45 ERA life time record when facing the Phillies. Major trends do forecast the Royals who are 35-16 against RHP and 14-6 on the road when facing RHP. On a percentage basis strength of schedule illustrates the Royals edge of .541 versus the Phillies .485. Run differentials give KC a +83 edge. And the Royals show #2 in hitting with a TBA of .276 versus .238 for Philadelphia. The percentage move this evening is Kansas City. |

07-01-16 | Indians v. Blue Jays OVER 9 | 2-1 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 6 m | Show
4* (963/964) Cleveland/Toronto OVER the total @ 1:05 Eastern Friday afternoon the Indians and Blue Jays do battle, Central versus the East in an American League battle. The Indians on the verge of a record if they can take their 14 straight win here. When you zero in on the mound opponents Tomlin against Stroman you might try looking at the total as the better proposition. Granted RHP Tomlin (9-1, 3.32) is 5-0 with a solid 2.76 ERA on the road this season, while coming in off 8 innings at Detroit where he allowed 6 hits and 3 earned runs. What is vivid about the appearance, Tomlin allowed three solo home runs. Toronto counters with struggling RHP Stroman (6-4, 5.33) at home where he brings a high ERA 5.90 with a 2-1 record. Stroman just threw at Chicago where he gave up 4 earned runs and 7 hits in just 5 innings. Actually, the hurler has thrown 5-of-6 bad outings showing with a 1-3 mark allowing 30 runs? The Blue Jays have gone OVER the total 4 straight at home and 7-0 OVER in game #2 of a series. Going back to the Indians with Tomlin the Tribe are high on a consistent 19-6-2 run and 6-1 on Friday….OVER! |

06-30-16 | Reds +176 v. Nationals | 4-13 | Loss | -100 | 22 h 48 m | Show
4* Cincinnati (Finnegan) over Washington (Gonzalez) @ 7:05 Eastern Interesting angle here as we have the Nationals laying some huge turf on the Strip. We'll take the Reds here who have won 7-of-9 in the series, 5-2 in Washington. We feel the current line is a little out of whack considering hurler Gonzalez has been off with the Nationals 0-7 in his last seven starts. Add in Washington is a perfect 0-4 versus LHP and the basis for a Reds take, if lefty Finnegan continues his June up-tick. He has a 3.19 ERA during the month with wins over Washington and Atlanta, while losing a 3-2 heart breaker to St. Louis...Reds! |
