NFL Divisional Futures
When it comes to betting on the AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26, it starts and ends with one question — can anyone knock off the Chiefs? Kansas City opens as a heavy favorite once again, but the gap might be thinner than the odds suggest. The Chargers and Broncos are both armed with talent, and even the Raiders have enough volatility to shake things up.
Still, in a division this loaded with storylines, you can’t rely on price alone. The AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26 are built for bettors who know the importance of timing and matchups.
AFC West Division History & Past Dominance
The AFC West has seen waves of dominance. Back in the ‘80s, John Elway led Denver to three Super Bowl appearances. The Raiders also had their glory days, winning it all in 1983 and making another run in 2002. San Diego, now the Chargers, made noise in the 2000s with LaDainian Tomlinson but could never quite seal the deal.
Then came Kansas City. The Chiefs have ruled the division since 2016 and, more importantly, flipped into dynasty mode with Mahomes. They’ve now hosted six straight AFC title games and show no signs of slowing down.
That’s what makes the AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26 both predictable — and dangerous — for futures bettors.

Kansas City Chiefs AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26
The Chiefs had one of the stranger seasons in recent memory last year, winning 15 games and making it all the way to the Super Bowl despite never really being able to build a margin on their opponents. They seemed to have just mastered the art of winning and late-game decision making under Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.
With this in mind, it was all the more surprising to see them get completely blown away by the Eagles in the Super Bowl. They’ll look to get back on the horse this year and compete for a fourth consecutive Super Bowl game. And there’s reason to believe they’ll be better in 2025 than they were in 2024, starting with some improvements to their offensive line, and a healthier pass-catching corps for Mahomes to throw to.
The defense is still run by Steve Spagnuolo so that scheme will handle itself. The departure of Justin Reid at safety could be cushioned by the emergence of Jaden Hicks.
All told, this year’s Chiefs team figures to be a force in the AFC West once again.
Los Angeles Chargers AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26
If there’s a legitimate threat to the Chiefs in the West, it’s the Chargers. They’ve become a popular pick to unseat Kansas City for the division crown. That’s largely due to the second-year bump teams have historically gotten with Jim Harbaugh.
In year two with Harbaugh, the roster looks more like the way he wants it and the team is better acclimated to the way he does things. The signing of right guard Mekhi Becton should do wonders to improve their interior offensive line, which was a problem a year ago. Becton was a cheat code at the position for the Eagles last season who unlocked many of Saquon Barkley’s big runs.
They also refreshed their running back room with the additions of veteran Najee Harris and first-round rookie Omarion Hampton, which is a sign Harbaugh intends to run the ball down his opponents’ throats.
Will that be enough to beat the Chiefs – the Chargers will get a pretty quick litmus test with a Week 1 matchup against them in Brazil.
Denver Broncos AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26
For all the talk of the big name quarterbacks in this division, the West featured three of the top five scoring defenses of 2024, with the Broncos boasting the best unit of the bunch. They may also have been the most vulnerable entering this year as opposing offenses figured out they could run on them, which the Bills did 44 times for 210 yards in the playoffs.
The Broncos addressed the issue by prying linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga away from the 49ers. On offense, they dramatically improved a splintered running back room in which no one saw more than 8.2 carries per game last year by adding second-round rookie R.J. Harvey and veteran free agent J.K. Dobbins to form the type of one-two punch Sean Payton craves.
There are a couple giants in their way in the Chiefs and Chargers, and well Denver may not be at Kansas City’s level quite yet, there’s reason for optimism in Denver as the franchise finally appears pointed in the right direction.
Las Vegas Raiders AFC West Futures Odds – 2025/26
The Raiders have no intention of being a pushover this year. The team added John Spytek as its general manager, Peter Carroll as its head coach, and Chip Kelly was pried away from Ohio State to be the offensive coordinator.
The team used its 11 draft picks to add to the roster across the board, most notably with running back Ashton Jeanty set to play a major role on offense from day one. Quarterback Geno Smith should do a better job of getting the ball to Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyer.
With this in mind, the Raiders are a popular pick to improve this year, and skate past their win total of 6.5, but if the Broncos have too many teams ahead of them to pass, then the Raiders are certainly a year or two away from being in consideration for winning this division.
So, I’m of the opinion, they should be applauded for the strides they’re taking in the right direction.

NFL futures give you an edge when you’re early. Whether it’s a longshot or a heavy favorite, locking in the right team before they heat up can be huge.
Drop $600 on the Chargers at +320, and you’re staring at a $2,520 return if they win the division — that’s $1,920 in profit with a ticket that looked risky in July.
