Have you stopped by Cappers Picks today to use our experts’ tips for 2020 NFL Draft #2 Overall Pick Futures Betting Odds? The NFL Draft is near and Joe Burrow seems to be the slam dunk #1 overall pick, barring any crazy draft day trades. The #2 pick gets a little dicey as there are a few different outcomes.

I am here to assess each of those options and pick which player I believe has the best odds to be the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Chase Young -330
Chase Young is a stud defensive end entering the draft by way of Ohio State. There was chatter during the season that he would opt to stay at Ohio State for another season, but he declared for the draft and will be a for sure top 5 pick.

Where in the top 5? Great question.
In a thin defensive line draft, Young stands out even more than he would in other drafts. Right now, the Washington Redskins own the #2 overall pick. The Redskins could use Young and it seems to be like the obvious pick after they drafted a QB in the first round last season.
There are rumblings from the peanut gallery, though, about the Redskins being interested in a QB. If that is true, you can expect them to stay put at #2 to draft one.
I think the highest chances Young has at going #2 is if there are no trades and the Redskins stay put and take him there.
Tua Tagovailoa +210
Tua suffered a season ending injury, but his potential should land him a top 5 draft slot. Now, is there a chance Tua could slip down the first round? Yes, but I doubt it.
If you believe the Redskins do not trust Dwayne Haskins, then Tua +210 would be a great bet.
The two most probable circumstances where Tua goes number 2 is if the Redskins draft a QB, or trade down.
Them trading out of the second pick would mean whoever is trading up will give up a ton of draft capitol. Giving up that capitol usually results in picking a franchise QB.
Jeff Okudah +1200
Even though +1200 picks usually have a ton of value, I think +1200 is far from valuable here. Okudah is a stud and will come off the board soon after the #2 pick, but I doubt he will be picked at #2.
The only way this is possible is if the Redskins trade out of the top 2 and some team with an established defensive line and established QB fell in love with Okudah. Like I said, I don’t see this happening at +1200 is far too low.

THE VERDICT: Tua Tagovailoa +210
I like the value here as I can easily see a team giving up an arm and a leg to trade up in hopes of drafting their franchise guy. See the 2017 NFL Draft with the Chicago Bears trading up for Trubisky as an example.
Now, whoever drafts Tua will hope for a much higher level of play than Trubisky, but the ends justify the means.
