The Dolphins were one of the biggest let downs in all of football last season. Not that they had expectations to begin with, but finishing with one of the worst records in football is never something to be proud of.

The Dolphins have spent some handsome money in free agency in hopes that this can be the year that will turn their franchise around. They own three first round picks in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.
What they want to do with those picks is a mystery. Will they build a capable offense around Josh Rosen? Will they find a new franchise quarterback?
If so, will they need to trade up to draft him? Plenty of questions circle the Dolphins draft, but all will be answered in due time.

The Dolphins spent in free agency and the main focus was on the defense.
They sured up the defense on each of the three levels. The most prominent being Byron Jones, who became the highest paid cornerback in NFL history with his new contract.
Although he isn’t a turnover guy, he is one of the best cover corners in the NFL and will help the Dolphins secondary mightily.
Shaq Lawson will help this defensive line get to the quarterback, which the Dolphins struggled with last season. Kyle Van Noy will be a veteran presence on this defense and will help the front 7 mightily, at least for the time being.
2020 Miami Dolphins Predictions: Off Season Analysis
The Dolphins improved their roster from 2019 to 2020 and still have ample amount of frozen assets in the draft. What they decide to do with them is anyone’s guess.
I think if they want a QB, they will have to trade up to draft Tua if the rumblings of the Redskins wanting a QB is true.
They will lose at least another one of their first round picks in order to move up. A smart, safer move would be give Rosen this entire year with newly acquired Jordan Howard and a first round receiver.
2020 Miami Dolphins Win Total Prediction
I think the Dolphins will be greatly improved, but still far away from a playoff position. Unless they make a few offseason moves like you read about, I think they will enter the average echelon in the NFL.
