The Raiders went 7-9 last season which is better than a lot of people expected. Their underwhelming quarterback play has been a cause of concern. Derek Carr’s play has dropped since being injured just a few years ago.
They haven’t done much to aid him with new targets on offense since trading away Amari Cooper. Josh Jacobs had a really nice rookie season and will continue to be the focal point of their offensive attack.

Key Free Agents Acquisitions
- Cory Littleton
- Marcus Mariota
- Nelson Agholor
- Maliek Collins
- Jeff Heath
- Carl Nassib
- Jason Witten
The Raiders have been active this off-season, but not big spenders. They are taking the approach of quantity over quality, but they have made some really nice signings.
Littlelon was by far the biggest signing they made and sured up their linebacking core. That signing now gives them a little wiggle room as they are not pressed to draft a linebacker in the first round.
Marcus Mariota creates a little controversy for the Raiders and proves their lack of confidence in Carr.
Maliek Collins was the steal of free agency for the Raiders. Although he under performed last season, they got him on a cheap, prove it deal.
Witten, Agholor, Nassib, and Heath are all solid guys that will help the team, but not greatly improve their roster.
2020 Las Vegas Raiders Predictions: Off Season Analysis
Overall, they made some signings that will keep the team above water. With that being said, I don’t think these signings will help them win. It will be a really interesting season for the Raiders, especially the quarterback situation.
2020 Las Vegas Raiders Win Total Prediction
I am not too big on the Raiders this season. Unless they draft or trade for some outside offensive threats, I think Josh Jacobs will be respected even more.
2020 Las Vegas Raiders Predictions: UNDER 7.5 WINS (Bet Now at any of our reviewed NFL Sportsbooks!)
I think the Raiders will remain around the same record as last season. 6-10, maybe 7-9. I just don’t see a season where they go .500 or better. If they shock the world and get a quarterback that would start over both Carr and Mariota, my opinion will change, but I don’t see that happening. I will take the under here.
