The Browns went 6-10 last season and if they do not improve this season, there will be major cause of concern and the fingers will probably be pointed at one Baker Mayfield. They still have a dynamic offense led by OBJ, Nick Chubb, and Jarvis Landry.
On paper, they have a really talented roster. Their problem last season was that the talent did not play to it’s potential. Only time will tell if it will in 2020, especially with it being a make or break season for this franchise.

Key Free Agents Acquisitions

Conklin is by far the most important signing for the Browns so far as their offensive line play has been below average in recent seasons. Conklin will sure up the offensive tackle position and let Nick Chubb run easier off the center.
Austin Hooper is an interesting signing. He has been a pro bowler in each of the past two seasons and one of the leagues best tight ends. It is interesting in the fact that this makes David Njoku expendable, who has not played up to expectations.
Case Keenum, although not likely, could start some games this year for the Browns. If Mayfield continues to struggle, Keenum could create a quarterback controversy in Cleveland. They are hungry to win and win now, so this could be a move to keep an eye on in the future.
2020 Cleveland Browns Predictions: Off Season Analysis
The Browns haven’t had an off-season like you read about, but it has been a solid one. They filled in key gaps and sured up their offense. I would’ve expected them to spend a tad on defense, but if they address it in the draft, then all be will forgotten. They have the 10th pick in next month’s draft and whoever is picked there will need to have a big impact.

I like the Browns more than most people this season. This offense is dynamic and I think Mayfield can only get better with time. Give them all another year to sync up and I believe we see a much improve team in 2020.
