A pair of 4-5 teams meet up for an NFC showdown as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET as Tampa Bay looks for its third road win of the season while the Eagles try to get back to the .500 mark.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers doubled their win total from a season ago when they defeated the Dallas Cowboys 10-6 in Week 10. It took all four quarters, but a late Jameis Winston bootleg touchdown sealed the deal for the Bucs, and now they’ll head into Philadelphia with some much-needed momentum on their side.
Despite being 2-2 on the road, Tampa Bay has played much better away from home this season.
They upset the Atlanta Falcons on the road, and should’ve beaten the Redskins the week before until a late-game collapse sealed their doom.
The Bucs have been very good at creating turnovers on the road, an aspect they’re sure to capitalize on against the Eagles. Tampa Bay has forced nine turnovers in four road games, and the Eagles have committed 10 turnovers in four home games.
The Bucs have also found success with their running game.T ampa Bay possesses the NFL’s sixth-best rushing attack, and it’s helped ease the pressure off Winston.
The Buccaneers are 10th in passing yards allowed and 12th in rushing yards allowed. Both of those stats are better than Philadelphia’s, and the Tampa Bay defense will have another advantage by going against Philadelphia backup Mark Sanchez.
The Eagles were in command of the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, but ran out of gas at the end and left with a 20-19 loss. What’s even worse is that Philadelphia lost quarterback Sam Bradford in the process, and now the Eagles will be forced to start Sanchez in his place.
Sanchez threw a costly interception in the endzone against Miami, and you have to wonder how he’ll fare after not playing for half of the season.
Tampa Bay has already given Drew Brees and Matt Ryan fits, so who’s to say the Bucs won’t be swarming Sanchez the entire game? The Eagles will probably look toward Demarco Murray and their running attack in this game to ensure that Sanchez doesn’t try to do too much.
The Eagles have the 10th-best rushing attack in the NFL, so look for Murray, Darren Sproles, and possibly Ryan Mathews to stay busy.
If the Eagles want to win this game, they’ll have to cut back on the turnovers. They’re averaging 2.5 turnovers per game at home, and the Bucs have made a living by forcing turnovers.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Tampa Bay +5.5
The Bucs are starting to find a rhythm on offense, and their defense plays better away from home. The Eagles will be using a backup quarterback and they have a hard time holding on to the ball.
This line is showing the Bucs no respect, and I’m not sure why.

The public is sleeping on the Buccaneers, but they’ve shown promise this year, especially on the road.
