Tatum looked a step slow and had a poor shooting night in the opener (6-23). The question is how he’ll respond in the team’s second game, with OG Anunoby likely to draw the task of guarding him.

Even with it being so early in the season, this is a divisional must-win game for both teams, and I’m more convinced the Knicks have the cajones to deliver to their identity.
Neither club excelled at perimeter defense last year with Boston ranked 16th and the Knicks ranked 20th. That said, the Knicks have the better overall defensive roster.
Expect the Knicks to employ a defensive strategy that will have Tatum working hard just to get up a shot against Anunoby while the rest of the team blocks his passing lanes.
New York will also let KAT fire away from deep to pull Robinson out of the paint, which should also open up driving lanes for Brunson and the Knicks’ wings.
