Miami and Virginia Tech get set for an ACC showdown with neither team able to afford losing another conference game on the season.
Miami comes in after dropping 2 in a row to fall to .500 after losses in back-to-back road games.

Virginia Tech looks to make it 2 in a row after defeating NC State last week and may get another giant boost with Michael Brewer returning this week.
Virginia Tech
The Hokies come in off of one of their most encouraging performances of the year as they knocked off conference foe NC State last Saturday.
Virginia Tech has looked like a much better team since the start of conference play. They have allowed just 30 points and recorded 8 sacks as a defense through their first two ACC games.

The Hokies offense could get a major boost too with the return of QB Michael Brewer to the lineup. Brewer suffered a broken collar bone in the season opener against Ohio State and has missed 5 straight games.
Should Brewer not be able to go for another week, the ball will be given to Branden Motley. He’s done a solid job coming in for Brewer as he went 14 for 28 last week with 158 yards and 3 touchdowns.
A main reason for his success has been Isaiah Ford. The WR has gone for 421 yards and 6 touchdowns this season.
Miami
The Hurricanes have dropped 2 in a row and are in a must kind of win spot here in this ACC matchup Saturday.
Miami had their chances against No. 8 Florida State, but couldn’t find a way to overcome the Seminoles in the end as they dropped a 29-24 decision.

QB Brad Kaaya does continue to impress as he’s maturing with every game played. He’s thrown for 1499 yards and 8 touchdowns on the season thus far. His most impressive stat comes from the interception category as he has just one on the season.
Kaaya threw for 405 yards last week in the loss to Florida State.
Miami has played much better football at home this season as they bring in a 2-0 record and are allowing just 16.5 points per game compared to the 40.5 they are scoring.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Prediction
The Hurricanes have dropped 2 straight road games, but they haven’t looked all that bad doing so. In fact, they should have beaten Florida State last week. Even if Michael Brewer returns here tonight, he’ll have a lot of rust on him.
