The Pac-12 Championship features a rematch from earlier in the season as the Stanford Cardinal and USC Trojans battle it out.
Stanford went into USC back on Sept. 19th and took down the Trojans 41-31 behind Kevin Hogans 279 yards of passing.

Stanford will also have one eye on the scoreboard as they have the chance to jump into the BCS Playoff with a win and a Clemson or Alabama loss on Saturday.
Stanford
The Cardinal season started off on the wrong foot as the Northwestern Wildcats knocked them off in Week 1.
After that, Stanford rattled off 8 straight wins and got themselves back into contention for the BCS Playoff race. One of those wins came against these same Trojans.

Stanford fell behind by 11 points early to the Trojans, but Kevin Hogan had a standout game and RB Remound Wright rushed for 3 touchdowns to secure the win.
Stanford also comes in off one of their biggest wins of the season as they knocked off Notre Dame at home. With the win, they eliminated the Fighting Irish from Playoff contention and put themselves in a spot where they could crash the party. While nothing is guaranteed, two things are for sure.
They must get a win over USC and see Clemson and/or Alabama lose.
USC
The Trojans have had a shaky and weird season that has led them to this Pac-12 Title game.
Three weeks after USC fell to Stanford, head coach Steve Sarkisian was relived of his duties and Clay Helton was put on board for an interim basis. After USC won 5 of their last 6 games, he was given the full time gig.

Helton has brought a new dynamic to this USC offense. The Trojans have built a solid game plan within their run game as they’ve out-rushed their opponents over the 7 games he’s coached. RB Justin Davis has rushed for 2 straight 100 yard games, including the 130 yard performance against UCLA.
QB Cody Kessler has also played a big role in the success of USC this season. Kessler has thrown for 3128 yards and 27 touchdowns to just 6 interceptions.
USC leads the all-time series 60-30-3, however they have won just 3 of the last 9 head-to-head meetings.
