The problem was a terrible ground game that was shutdown. Donovan Daniels had nine yards on 16 carries, and D.J. Frost had 19 yards on six touches. Tyler Currie led all Bears receivers with 89 yards and a touchdown on six receptions.
Lorenzo Thomas went for 66 yards on three catches. Luis Aguilar was a bright spot making all three of his field goals including a career long from 48-yards.

Tulane Green Wave
The Tulane Green Wave are coming off a 24-6 loss against no. 10 Auburn Tigers on Saturday.
Tulane hung around most of the night and only trailed 14-6 at the half. While Tulane’s defense showed up, the offense didn’t.
Justin McMillan struggled going 10/33 passes for 103 yards and an interception. McMillan’s damage came on the ground where he rushed for 54 yards on seven carries. Darius Bradwell had 30 yards on 12 carries.
Bradwell was coming off a good game against Florida International in which he rushed for 90 yards on 13 carries.
Darnell Mooney led the Green Wave with 48 receiving yards on three receptions.
Tulane’s defense held it’s own allowing 379 total yards and recording five sacks as a unit. Had the Green Wave done just a bit more on offense they could’ve been in position to pull a stunner against the Tigers.

If the Bears allowed 37 points against Northern Arizona they will have trouble in this one. Tulane is a stronger opponent and are looking to bounce back after a competitive loss to Auburn.

Look for McMillan and Bradwell to lead the Green Wave to a huge blowout victory. They will do just enough to cover the large spread.
