Bulldogs vs. Rebels Gameday
The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs visit the No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Kickoff is 7:30 PM ET on ABC.
Georgia enters at 7-1 overall and 5-1 in SEC play under Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs are coming off a 27-8 victory over Florida.
Georgia wants revenge for January, but Kirby Smart still hasn’t figured out how to win in Oxford.
The Bulldogs are 2-0 in true road games this season.
Ole Miss stands at 6-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play under Pete Golding. The Rebels are unbeaten in five home games.
Ole Miss defeated Auburn 45-15 in its latest outing.
The Rebels eliminated Georgia from last season’s College Football Playoff with a 39-34 Sugar Bowl victory. That gives this meeting considerably more meaning than another Saturday on the SEC schedule.
Smart is 0-2 at Ole Miss during his Georgia tenure.
The Bulldogs have otherwise been outstanding in hostile SEC stadiums. Their record in conference opponents’ stadiums under Smart is 32-6.
Both programs remain in the SEC championship picture.

Rebels Stats
Ole Miss has scored 297 points, averaging 37.1 per game. The Rebels have accumulated 2,257 passing yards, making their aerial attack one of the SEC’s most productive.
Deuce Alexander leads the receivers with 48 catches for 669 yards.
His ability to create separation provides Ole Miss with a dependable downfield target. The Rebels have several options capable of turning short completions into substantial gains.
Kewan Lacy has rushed for 388 yards and five TD in six games. He’s unlikely to play because of a shoulder injury.
Makhi Frazier has added 357 rushing yards. Shekai Mills-Knight provides another option in the backfield.
Ole Miss has allowed 192 points, averaging 24 per contest. The defense has recorded seven interceptions and five fumble recoveries.
Stopping the run remains a concern.
The Rebels are allowing 148.9 rushing yards per game. Georgia has enough backfield depth to test that weakness throughout the evening.
Bulldogs Stats
Georgia has scored 328 points, averaging 41 per contest. The Bulldogs have produced 2,006 passing yards and 1,601 rushing yards.
That balance has made Georgia difficult to defend. Opponents cannot concentrate exclusively on stopping one phase of the offense.
Dwight Phillips Jr. leads the Bulldogs with 415 rushing yards.
Georgia has allowed just 119 points, averaging 14.9 per game. The defense has recorded 26 sacks and seven interceptions.
The Bulldogs have also recovered 12 opponent fumbles. Their ability to generate takeaways has consistently created favorable field position.
Georgia’s defense doesn’t offer many freebies, so Ole Miss had better make its scoring chances count.
Georgia rushed for 217 yards against Florida. Nate Frazier has also been productive when healthy, giving the Bulldogs another experienced backfield option.
The Bulldogs have been particularly effective at limiting opposing rushing attacks. Their defense allows approximately 86 yards per game on the ground.
Bulldogs vs. Rebels QB Matchup
Trinidad Chambliss leads Ole Miss with 2,189 passing yards and 18 TD through eight games. He’s attempted 296 passes with eight interceptions.
Chambliss averages 273.6 passing yards per appearance. His aggressive approach produces explosive plays but occasionally leads to costly mistakes.
Georgia has already experienced his ability in a major postseason game.
Chambliss has averaged 312.5 passing yards in two appearances against the Bulldogs. He’ll need another productive performance against their disciplined defense.
Pressure will be a major test for the Ole Miss quarterback. Georgia has the personnel to disrupt timing without constantly sending extra defenders.
Gunner Stockton leads Georgia with 1,671 passing yards and 16 TD. He’s attempted 181 passes with four interceptions.
Stockton has completed 71.8% of his passes this season. His efficiency has helped Georgia sustain drives against difficult SEC competition.
He also contributes as a runner. That mobility gives the Bulldogs another way to extend possessions when protection breaks down.

Stockton threw for only 101 yards against Florida. Georgia compensated with a productive ground attack and an outstanding defensive performance.
Chambliss offers greater passing volume, while Stockton has been more efficient. Both quarterbacks face defenses capable of punishing careless decisions.
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels bottom line: Georgia’s defensive discipline meets an aggressive Ole Miss passing attack, with both quarterbacks facing a demanding test in Oxford.
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels Football Betting Trends
- Georgia has a strong record against the spread in away games, going 3-0 in their last 3 games.
- Also, the Bulldogs perform well as favorites, with a 21-2 straight-up record in their last 23 games.
- Georgia has hit the over in 6 of their last 7 games when favored.
- Ole Miss is impressive at home, winning 26 of their last 27 games straight up.
- Plus, the Rebels have gone 3-0 against the spread at home in their last 3 games.
- Ole Miss has seen the total go over in 4 of their last 5 games.
Bulldogs Rebels Free Pick: Over 56.5
Here is my Bulldogs Rebels free pick: I’m betting Over 56.5. Georgia is the better defensive team, no argument there, but Ole Miss has enough firepower to make this a four-quarter scoring contest. I don’t need either offense to be perfect.
Georgia has gone over in six of its last seven games as a favorite, while Ole Miss has cleared the total in four of its last five. Those trends fit the bet, but execution inside the 20 will decide it.
I’m buying touchdowns in Oxford, not another SEC field-goal kicking contest.
The danger is Georgia grinding out long drives and leaving Ole Miss watching from the sideline. That would put a serious dent in the number of possessions available.
Here’s where I see the edge: if Ole Miss pushes Georgia into answering scores rather than protecting a lead, the second half can open up quickly. Neither team can afford to get conservative while the other is finding the end zone.
I want both offenses attacking when the game gets tight, not settling for three points and calling it a successful drive. Give me Over 56.5.
