The Redhawks are still in search of their first conference win as they fell to Western Michigan 35-13 last week. Miami sits in the cellar of the MAC East at 0-4.
Buffalo
The Bulls are hanging around in the MAC East and clearly need a win over the last place Redhawks if they hope to continue their trend upward. Buffalo comes in with a lot of momentum after their route of Ohio as they racked up 422 yards and raced out to a 31-10 halftime lead.
Buffalo’s defense played a giant role in the win as they forced Ohio into 4 turnovers. Defensively on the season, Buffalo is allowing 25.1 points against.

RB Jordan Johnson paced the Bulls offense once again as he finished with 147 yards on 28 carries and found the end zone twice. On the season, Buffalo has averaged 4 yards per rush play.
Overall, they average 28.0 points per game and 375.3 yards in total offense. They are one of the MAC’s most well balanced teams as they pass for 230.3 and run for 145.0. They rely heavily on their run game first, to open up gaps in the secondary and use play action.
Miami OH
The Redhawks season has just been a disaster to this point. Miami’s lone win this year came against Presbyterian College in a 26-7 game that even saw the offense struggle a little bit.
Miami suffered yet another setback with a 35-13 loss to Western Michigan in a game they just were simply overpowered in. Over the final 3 quarters, Miami was outscored 28-3 and they were out gained in total yardage 421-276.

There are just so many problems with this Redhawks team, but it clearly starts offensively. Miami is averaging just 14.4 points per game, which ranks last in the MAC and is racking up just 323.3 yards per game. They really haven’t found much of a rush game either as they average just over 116 yards per game on the ground.
Turnovers have also been a giant problem for the Redhawks this season. QB Drew Kummer has thrown for 886 yards and 7 touchdowns, but he has cancelled 6 of those touchdowns out with interceptions. Miami’s offense has typically set the defense up for failure as they give the opposition the ball in just too good of field position.

Free Week 9 NCAA Football Prediction
The Redhawks are just a bad team. With Buffalo’s ability to at least move the ball and get themselves in short 3rd down to go situations, they should have no problem handling Miami here on Thursday.
