03-29-21 | Arkansas v. Baylor UNDER 148.5 | 72-81 | Loss | -106 | 11 h 19 m | Show
Arkansas got pushed to their limit last game, but narrowly escaped with the win over Oral Roberts, 72-70 as a 11.5 point favorite. Now they face the top seed in the region, Baylor. Baylor beat Hartford, 79-55 then Wisconsin, 76-63 and then last game over Villanova, 62-51. All three games held their opponents to 63 or fewer points. One thing has been evident in this NCAA tournament, 3-point shot making percentage has dropped significantly. Normally around the 30% mark or more, we've been seeing 20% of shots dropping from 3-point. Oregon State hit 21.7% against Loyola Chicago and then 27.7% against Oklahoma State and 19.2% vs Tennessee. Houston, which has seen numbers in the 40% ranges, hit just 21.7% against Syracuse, resulting int their 62-46 win. Seems like teams are getting better at defending the 3-point shot and that has resulted in lower scoring games. With a lower score expected here, the points become critical. I'm going to take the UNDER here today. |
03-29-21 | Oregon State v. Houston UNDER 130 | 61-67 | Win | 100 | 20 h 28 m | Show
Reason: Midwest Regional Final has Oregon State taking on Houston. Oregon State the surprise team left in the tournament as they got red-hot right at Conference tourney time. Oregon State has won six straight games and covered all six. They have gone under in two of their last three games, holding Loyola Chicago to just 58 and Tennessee to 56 in their three NCAA tourney games. Houston has also slowed the pace of late, going under in their last two NCAA tourney games, holding Syracuse to just 46 points on Saturday and Rutgers to 60 in their game before. In fact, Houston has now held four of their last six opponents to 56 or fewer points and one other to just 60. |
03-29-21 | Oregon State +8 v. Houston | Top | 61-67 | Win | 100 | 9 h 31 m | Show |

I'll take the dog points with the PAC 12 teams doing so well. Play Oregon St. |
03-28-21 | UCLA v. Alabama -6.5 | 88-78 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 9 m | Show
UCLA and Alabama face off today in the NCAA Tourney East Regional Semifinals. UCLA was an early exit in the PAC-12 tourney, losing to Oregon State in their first game, 79-83 in OT. It's been a different story here in the NCAA tourney, beating Michigan State in OT, 86-80, then BYU, 73-62 and Abilene Christian 67-47 last game. Now they face a very good Alabama team. The Crimson Tide won the SEC tournament and have now won eight straight games and 11 of their last 12. They are coming off a big win over Maryland, 96-77. This might be the best team UCLA has had to face in some time. I like the Tide here to cover and move on. Play Alabama. |
03-28-21 | Creighton v. Gonzaga -13 | Top | 65-83 | Win | 100 | 36 h 15 m | Show |
Creighton bounced back from their Big East conference blowout loss to Georgetown with a pair of wins here in the NCAA. They just go bye Cal Santa Barbara, 63-62 and then easily beat Ohio U, 72-58. Now they have the arduous task of facing No 1 see Gonzaga. Gonzaga is 29-0 on the season and has rolled through the first two rounds of the NCAA with wins over Norfolk, 98-55 and then Oklahoma, 87-71, covering both. Gonzaga laying around 13 looks like a gift to me. I'll take them here today. Play Gonzaga. |
03-28-21 | Mississippi State v. Memphis -4.5 | 64-77 | Win | 100 | 2 h 40 m | Show
NIT Championship game has Mississippi State taking on Memphis for the Title. Miss State Bulldogs got here with wins over St Louis, Richmond and Louisiana Tech. They covered two of those three games, missing the cover over Richmond. Memphis has NIT wins over Dayton, Boise State and Colorado State. The latter was a blowout winner, 90-67. Memphis has covered eight of their last nine games. I look for the Tigers to take the title today and get the cover. Play Memphis. |
03-27-21 | Syracuse +6.5 v. Houston | 46-62 | Loss | -102 | 20 h 5 m | Show
Syracuse has won both of its NCAA games as dogs with wins over San Diego State, 78-62 and then West Virginia, 75-72. The Orange have now covered six straight games. Today they face Houston as a 6.5 point dog. Houston has now won nine straight games. During that span they are 6-3 ATS. The Cougars had a rough outing last time, just getting by Rutgers 63-60 as a 7.5 point favorite. Syracuse won't want to get into a scoring contest here today. Rather I look for them to slow things down as Rutgers did. I'm going to take the dog here with Syracuse. |
03-27-21 | Oral Roberts +11.5 v. Arkansas | 70-72 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show
Oral Roberts looking to continue its Cinderella run in the NCAA with their game against Arkansas today. Oral Roberts boasts the nation's leading scorer in Max Abmas. The lightly recruited star is the sparkplug behind OR run here in the postseason. The team has now won seven straight games and covered six of those. Arkansas had its hands full with Texas Tech in the last round, winning 68-66 as a 2-point dog. That came after an easy win over Colgate, 85-68 in round one. I believe in fairy tale stories and I'm going to ride this one another round. Play Oral Roberts. |
03-25-21 | Boise State v. Memphis -4 | Top | 56-59 | Loss | -112 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
NIT Quarterfinal action has Boise State taking on Memphis tonight. Boise lost in the Mountain West tourney to Nevada, 82-89. They bounced back in the opening round of the NIT with a win over SMU, 85-84, covering the 1-point dog line. Still, the Broncos are just 5-6 ATS in their last 11 games. They have also won just one of their last five games. Memphis lost in the American Athletic Tourney to a very good Houston team, 74-76, covering the 7-point dog line. It was the team's seventh cover in a row. They are also 8-2 S/U over their last 10 games. Memphis playing the better here between these two teams. Play Memphis. |
03-25-21 | NC State -1.5 v. Colorado State | 61-65 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 26 m | Show
NC State Wolfpack had a nice run to finis the season, going 6-1 over their last seven. Unfortunately, the one loss came in their conference tourney to Syracuse, 68-89. The Pack opened NIT action with a easy win over Davidson, 75-61 as a 2-point dog. Colorado State lost in the Mountain West tourney to Utah State, 50-62 as a 4.5-point dog. The Rams are 2-2 S/U and 1-2-1 ATS over their last four games. Close line here with the Pack now a small favorite. I like NC State coming from the tougher Atlantic Coast conference. Play NC State. |
03-24-21 | Coastal Carolina +5 v. Pepperdine | Top | 61-84 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
Coastal Carolina had to go to OT last night to get the exciting win over Stetson, though they failed to cover the spread. The Chanticleers came an OT away from the NCAA tournament after losing to App State. Pepperdine advanced with a win over Bellarmine on Tuesday, 82-71. Hard to dismiss the fact that Carolina came so close to the NCAA tournament - and that wasn't by accident. This is a very good team. Pepperdine is average, but one can argue they played the likes of St Marys and Gonzaga all season. Still, I'm going to take the points with the dog in this one. Play Coastal Carolina. |
03-23-21 | Pepperdine v. Bellarmine +4.5 | 82-71 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 55 m | Show
CBI Semifinals has Pepperdine Waves of the WCC taking on Bellarmine Knights of the ASUN conference. Pepperdine is 13-12 after beating Longwood in their last CBI game, 80-66. Beallarmine is 14-7 after beating Army, 77-67. The Knights trailed by 9-points at one time, 40-31, but used a big 2nd half to rally for the win. Bellarmine isn't very good defensively, but they have a very good offense. Pepperdine really hasn't been a very good team all season, as they have hovered right around the .500 mark all year. Edges here go to Bellarmine in shooting and experience. Add to the fact that Bellarmine is playing its first year at the division 1 level and they will be out to prove something here tonight. Take Bellarmine. |
03-22-21 | LSU +5 v. Michigan | 78-86 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 12 m | Show
The LSU Tigers opened NCAA tournament Round one play with a big win over St Bonaventure, 79-61, as 2-point favorite. The win took the bitterness out of their one-point SEC Championship game loss to Alabama. The Tigers have now covered six straight game and eight of the last 10. Michigan looks to continue in on the tournament today. The Wolverines have 21 wins, after beating Texas Southern in round one, 82-66. Though they failed to cover the 25-point favorite line. It was their second spread loss in a row and third in their last four game. Michigan around a 5.5-point favorite here today. I'll take the points against a team that has struggled to cover spreads. Play LSU. |
03-22-21 | Ohio +6 v. Creighton | Top | 58-72 | Loss | -109 | 30 h 3 m | Show |
Ohio pulled a big upset win on Saturday, beating Virginia 62-58 as a 6-point dog. Creighton had all it could handle in round one just getting past Cal Santa Barbara, 63-62 as a 7-point favorite. Creighton trailed Santa Barbara by as many as eight points in the first half and were down by six with just 5:30 left to play in the game. The Blue Jays have failed to cover their last two games and four of their last seven. The Ohio defense made a big stand on Saturday, holding Virginia without a field goal for 10:09 seconds of the 2nd half. Creighton has been inconsistent this year and underachieving most of the season. The Ohio Bobcats look like they are primed for another straight up win as a dog. Play Ohio. |
03-22-21 | Abilene Christian v. UCLA -4.5 | 47-67 | Win | 100 | 15 h 18 m | Show
Abilene Christian pulled what could be the 2nd biggest shocker in round one with their win over Texas, 53-52. It was the team's fifth win in a row and 13th in their last 14. They have also covered five in a row and eight of the last nine. Still. this is a Southland Conference team that lost early in the season to Texas Tech, 44-51 and to Arkansas, 72-85. UCLA looks to burst their bubble here today. The Bruins beat Michigan State in the first four, 86-80 in OT and then beat BYU in round one, 73-62. The PAC 12 is doing very well with USC and Oregon State both looking strong. I like the PAC-12 team here over a Southland club. Play UCLA. |
03-22-21 | Oklahoma v. Gonzaga OVER 154 | 71-87 | Win | 100 | 13 h 42 m | Show
Gonzaga is the top seed in the tournament and now 28-0 on the season. They will play a 17-10 Oklahoma team here on Monday. Oklahoma rebounded from it's Big 12 tourney loss with a win over Missouri, 72-68, covering the 1-point dog lone. They still have won just two of their last seven games. Gonzaga is the leader of this pack. While I'm not looking at the spread here today, I am looking at the total. Gonzaga is a good over team, with six of their last eight games going over. They have scored 86 or more points in 11 of their last 13 games. Gonzaga is now 11-3 O/U in their last 14 neutral site games. The Bulldogs are also 37-16 O/U in their last 53 games as a favorite. I'm looking for lots of points from Gonzaga. Take the OVER. |
03-21-21 | Oregon State +6.5 v. Oklahoma State | 80-70 | Win | 100 | 14 h 11 m | Show
Oregon State shocked the PAC-12 by winning all three conference tourney games to get the automatic bid to the NCAA tourney. Many thought they didn't deserve it, but they opened round win with a resounding win over a 9-point favored Tennessee team, 70-56. It was the Beavers' fourth cover in a row and 11th in their last 12 games. Oklahoma State lost in the Big 12 Conference championship game to Texas, 86-91. They still got the at-large bid to the NCAA and they opened with a closer than expected win over Liberty, 69-70. Liberty led at the half, 30-27, but Ok State rallied late to not only get the win but the cover. There's something to be said for a team that gets hot at the right time. That is what we are seeing with Oregon State. I'll take the points here today with the Beavers. Play Oregon State. |
03-21-21 | Oral Roberts +8.5 v. Florida | 81-78 | Win | 100 | 12 h 59 m | Show
Oral Roberts is making believers out of everyone after they pulled off the shocker of the first round by beating Ohio State, 75-72 in OT as a 15-point dog. This Oral Roberts team looks real though after winning six straight games and covering five of those. They boast the nation's leading scorer in Max Abmas, who averaged 24.2 ppg. Oh, and Abmas only played all 45 minutes of that win over Ohio State. Abmas was the Summit League Player of the Year. He's also the only player in the NCAA to have multiple 40-point games this season. Florida also had to go to OT in their first NCAA game, beating Virginia Tech 75-70 as a 1.5 point dog. Florida has not been a very good covering team, with a 1-4 ATS mark their last five and 3-7 their last 10. I'm going to stick with this red-hot Oral Roberts team and the leading scorer in the country. Play Oral Roberts. |
03-21-21 | Texas Tech v. Arkansas UNDER 141 | 66-68 | Win | 100 | 10 h 24 m | Show
Texas Tech advanced to the NCAA second round here on Sunday with a win in round one over Utah State, 65-53, as a 4.5-point favorite. The Red Raiders snapped a two-game losing streak. This has been a very good under team, with both tourney games going under and five of their last six games overall going UNDER. Arkansas had little trouble with the nation's 2nd highest scoring team in Colgate, winning 85-68 in round one. The game went under, as each of their tourney and NCAA games has done. The Razorbacks have also gone under in nine of their last 12 neutral site games. I'm looking to play the UNDER here today. Play UNDER. |
03-21-21 | Syracuse +4.5 v. West Virginia | 75-72 | Win | 100 | 9 h 29 m | Show
Syracuse won their opening game in the NCAA tournament with a win over Mountain West Champ, San Diego State 78-62 as a 3-point dog. The Orange have now won four of their last five and covered all five. West Virginia lost their conference tourney opener to Oklahoma State, 69-72, but still got an at large bid thanks to their 18 wins. They opened NCAA with a win over a very good Morehead State team, 85-67 with Morehead never in the contest. Still, the Mountaineers have covered just one of their last five games. These teams have actually met five times with the dog taking four of those games vs the number. My own number has WVU about a one-point favorite while the oddsmaker has them around four points. I'll take the dog here today. Play Syracuse. |
03-20-21 | Ohio +7 v. Virginia | Top | 62-58 | Win | 100 | 20 h 48 m | Show |
There is something to be said for getting hot at the right time. That's the case for this Ohio Bobcats team. The Cats were 4th in the MAC East but got to the NCAA tournament by winning nine of their last 10 games including all of their MAC tourney games. They were one of the better scoring teams in the nation, with around 80 ppg average. This Ohio team loves to run up and down the court and is an excellent passing team. Now they face one of the best defensive teams in the nation in Virginia. The problem for Virginia is that it had an undisclosed player test positive for Covid. That's a tourney ender for most teams. However, they have quarantined and if they had at least five players test negative for seven consecutive days they would be allowed to play. The Cavs look like they have passed that hurdle. Problem is they can't practice until they pass that protocol. Sure, they will be rested, but will they be game ready here today? I'm taking this hot Ohio team that has been shooting lights out against this Virginia team that frankly might not be ready to play. Take Ohio. |
03-20-21 | Iona +17 v. Alabama | 55-68 | Win | 100 | 17 h 34 m | Show
Iona got the NCAA bid by sweeping its Metro Atlantic Conference Tournament, beating Quinnipiac, Siena, Niagara and then Fairfield in the Championship game, 70-64. It was Iona's sixth win in eight games and 10th in their last 12 games. They have also gone 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games. Alabama has had a fine season with a 24-6 S/U and 17-12 ATS record. The Tide won the SEC tournament with a one point win over LSU in the final, 80-79, failing to cover the 6-point spread. The Tide have been fair at covering, going 4-4 ATS in their last eight games. Tide laying 17 points here today is just too much in my opinion. I already had one big upset winner with Friday's Oral Roberts outright win. Let's see if Iona can make it another shocker. Play Iona. |
03-20-21 | UC-Santa Barbara +7.5 v. Creighton | 62-63 | Win | 100 | 16 h 3 m | Show
Cal Santa Barbara comes into this NCAA tourney with a 20-4 S/U record and 14-10 spread mark. The Gouchos swept their Big West tourney with three wins, including the championship game over UC Irvine, 79-63. Their only loss dating back to December came on Feb 27 against UC Riverside, 52-68. They will face a Creighton team that was absolutely demolished in the Big East Championship by Georgetown, 48-73. The Blue Jays fell behind early and never came close the rest of the way. They have now lost three of their last six games both S/U and ATS. This Creighton team has been very inconsistent this season. Not so for Santa Barbara who has had little problems. I'll take the points here and not be surprised if Creighton struggles again. Play Santa Barbara. |
03-20-21 | Georgetown +6 v. Colorado | 73-96 | Loss | -104 | 13 h 48 m | Show
If there is one team that has Cinderella written all over it, it is Georgetown. This Patrick Ewing led team shocked the Big East by taking the tournament despite going into the tourney with a 8-13 record. Four wins later, including that wipeout of Creighton in the finals, 73-48, and here they are at the big dance. Not much you can say about this team other than they are redhot and have nothing to lose. Sometimes a team with nothing to lose are the most dangerous teams. You know that 22-9 Colorado will be constantly reminded of this by their coaching staff. The Buffaloes are a 6 or 6 1/2 point favorite and have all the pressure on their shoulders. I'm going to stick with the Cinderella team and take the points here. My Shocker play here on Friday. |
03-19-21 | Winthrop +6.5 v. Villanova | Top | 63-73 | Loss | -108 | 37 h 14 m | Show |
NCAA First Round action here has Winthrop taking on Villanova. Winthrop didn't have to win a conference tournament, rather winning their regular season crown is what got them into the NCAA tourney. Winthrop was 24-1 S/U and 14-11 ATS on the season. They had little trouble in the Big South conference, lsoing just to UNC Asheville back on Jan 29th, 55-57 as their lone setback. Villanova was a victim of the Georgetown freight train that bullied through the Big East. The Cats lost their last two games and three of their last four. In addition they are covered just one of those last four. Winthrop getting around 6 points here on Friday. I believe Winthrop has a very good chance to win this game straight-up. Play Winthrop. |
03-19-21 | Syracuse +3 v. San Diego State | 78-62 | Win | 100 | 37 h 59 m | Show
The Syracuse Orange of the ACC takes on the Mountain West Conference Champion, San Diego State. Syracuse beat NC State in the ACC tournament, 89-68 before losing to Virginia, 69-72. The Orange did cover their last four games. San Diego State finished 22-4 on the season with a 14-12 spread record. The Aztecs had a scare by Wyoming in the first round, then beat Nevada 77-70 and finally Utah State for the Championship, 68-57. They only covered one of their final five games. I like the Big East conference teams over this Mountain West Conference. I'll take the points and look for Syracuse to win outright. Play Syracuse. |
03-19-21 | Rutgers v. Clemson +1.5 | 60-56 | Loss | -104 | 37 h 38 m | Show
Two evenly matched teams on paper meet here in the NCAA first round. Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 14-1 S/U and 13-13 ATS on the season. Clemson is 16-7 S/U and 11-11 ATS on their season. Rutgers beat Indiana in their opening Big 10 game, but lost in the quarterfinals to Illinois, 68-90. The Knights have lost six of their last nine games. They are also 2-4 ATS in their last six games. Clemson lost in the opening round of the ACC tournament to Miami-Florida, 64-67. They still are 6-2 S/U and 4-4 ATS in their last eight games. Rutgers a small favorite here on Friday. My own numbers have Clemson the small favorite. I will be on the Tigers today. Play Clemson. |
03-19-21 | Liberty +7.5 v. Oklahoma State | 60-69 | Loss | -105 | 34 h 54 m | Show
Atlantic Sun Conference Tourney Champ Liberty gets to take on the Big 12's Oklahoma State. Liberty finished 20-5 S/U and 15-8 ATS on the season. They won their last 11 games and covered six of their last eight games. Liberty beat North Alabama in the Championship game, 79-75, but failed to cover the 13.5 point favorite line. Oklahoma State finished at 20-8 S/U and 16-10 ATS on the season. The Cowboys lost in the tourney to Texas, 86-91 after beating West Virginia and Baylor. Liberty has looked fairly impressive this year and is worth a dog shot in the first round getting 7 or 7.5 points. Play Liberty. |
03-19-21 | Oral Roberts +16.5 v. Ohio State | 75-72 | Win | 100 | 30 h 18 m | Show
Oral Roberts survived the Summit League conference tournament by winning three straight games to claim the crown and the automatic NCAA bid. Oral Roberts got hot at the end of the season, winning five straight games and going 4-1 ATS. They finished just 13-10 S/U and 14-9 ATS on the season. Ohio State came up a bit short in the Big 10 Championship game, losing in OT to Illinois, 88-91. They did cover three of the four games in the Big 10 tourney. Despite getting in, they are just 3-4 S/U and ATS in their last seven games. Ohio State laying 16.5 points here today and for me that's just too many by a team that is 3-4 in their last seven games. Play Oral Roberts. |
03-19-21 | Utah State v. Texas Tech -4 | 53-65 | Win | 100 | 29 h 3 m | Show
Utah State advanced to the NCAA from the Mountain West conference despite losing in the Championship game to San Diego State, 57-68. The Aggies finished 19-8 S/U and 16-11 ATS on the season. They did win six of their last seven games though they covered just three of their last nine. Texas Tech comes out of the Big 12 conference with a 17-10 S/U and 10-16 ATS records. The Raiders lost to Texas in the conference tourney, 66-67. They lost their last two games and are 3-2 S/U and ATS in their last five games. Good matchup here but I like the strength of the Big 12 conference here over the Mountain West. Play Texas Tech. |
03-19-21 | Colgate v. Arkansas OVER 160.5 | 68-85 | Loss | -108 | 28 h 4 m | Show
NCAA First round action here on Friday has NO 14 Colgate taking on No seed Arkansas. Two of the highest scoring teams in division 1 basketball. The Colgate Raiders ranked 2nd in the nation with 86.3 ppg while the Arkansas Razorbacks are ranked 7th at 82.4 ppg. Colgate beat Loyola Maryland 85-72 to get here today. They finished 14-1 S/U and 10-5 ATS on the season. The also covered six of their last eight games. Arkansas opened SEC tourney play with a win over Missouri, 70-64, but then fell to LSU, 71-78. Expect a run and gun game here today. I'll take the OVER in this one. |
03-19-21 | Colgate +8.5 v. Arkansas | 68-85 | Loss | -108 | 28 h 4 m | Show
NCAA First round action here on Friday has NO 14 Colgate taking on No seed Arkansas. The nation's second highest teams should be able to stay close to any team, especially get 8 1/2 point as they are today. I'll take a shot with Colgate in this one. Play Colgate. |
03-18-21 | Norfolk State +3.5 v. Appalachian State | 54-53 | Win | 100 | 8 h 45 m | Show
Norfolk and Appalachian State meet here this evening for the right to get into the field of 64. Norfolk won their Mid-Eastern tournament with a victory over Morgan State, 71-69 as a 2.5 point favorite. Norfolk has won five straight games and seven of their last eight. They have also covered six of their last eight games. Appalachian State finished 17-11 S/U and 14-9 ATS on the season. They also won their conference tournament with four straight wins including the championship game over Georgia State, 80-73 as a 7-point dog. App State around 3 1/2 point favorite here today. My own numbers have this game even or even Norfolk a small favorite. Play Norfolk State. |
03-18-21 | Drake -2 v. Wichita State | 53-52 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 33 m | Show
NCAA First Round action here on Thursday has Drake taking on Wichita State. Drake had a fine season at 24-4 S/U and 20-7 ATS. However, the Bulldogs finished winning just one of their last three games. They lost in the Missouri Valley tournament to Loyola Chicago, 65-75 as a 7-point dog. Wichita State was 14-5 S/U and 9-9 ATS on the season. The Shockers had their 8-game win streak snapped in their conference tournament by Cincinnati, 59-60. The Shockers have covered just three of their last 10 games. Both teams looking for that play-in spot here today. I'll take Drake in this one. |

03-18-21 | Mt. St. Mary's -1 v. Texas Southern | 52-60 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 16 m | Show
Mount St Marys brings a four game wins streak into tonight's contest, including their conference tourney win over Bryant, 73-68 as a 6.5-point dog. They have also covered four straight games and seven of their last 10. Texas Southern swept through the Southwestern Athletic Conference tourney with three wins and three covers, including the championship game win over Prairie View A&M, 80-61 as a 3-point dog. Both teams playing well, but I like Mount St Marys a bit better. |
03-17-21 | Toledo -2.5 v. Richmond | 66-76 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 6 m | Show
NIT first round action has Toledo taking on Richmond here tonight. Richmond could be shorthanded here tonight. One of their best players, guard Blake Francis is questionable with a hip injury. Francis averaged 16.1 ppg this year. Toledo lost their second game in the MAC conference tourney to Ohio U, 80-87. That snapped a two-game win streak for the Rockets. They are also 5-2 in their last seven games. Richmond finished the season just 12-8 S/U and 9-11 ATS. They lost their last three games of the season both S/U and ATS. Toledo laying just 2 1/2 points here tonight. I'll take the Rockets. Play Toledo. |
03-14-21 | Ohio State v. Illinois -5.5 | 88-91 | Loss | -112 | 20 h 39 m | Show
Ohio State advanced to today's Big 10 Championship game agaisnt Illinois, but barely. The Buckeyes faced a Michigan team that was without one of their star players in Forward Livers. The Buckeyes led by 16 points with just four minutes to play but then were outscored 2-17. A turnover with 28 seconds left in the game led to a Michigan chance to win, but they couldn't connect as time ran out. Illinois had little problems advancing with a win over Iowa, 82-71. Illinois led by eight at half and increaded that lead over the 2nd half as they cruised to the win. For me, I believe Ohio State escaped the loss on Saturday against a Michigan team without one of their star players. Illinois should have little trouble here today winning the Big 10 Tournament Championship. Play Illinois. |
03-14-21 | LSU v. Alabama UNDER 157.5 | 79-80 | Loss | -116 | 1 h 18 m | Show
SEC Championship game here on Sunday from Nashville, TN has LSU taking on Alabama for the automatic bid to the NCAA. LSU got here with wins over Ole Miss on Friday, 76-73 and then a win over favored Arkansas on Saturday, 78-71. Alabama had to beat Mississippi State on Friday, 85-48 and then Tennessee on Saturday, 73-68. They have gone under in five of their last seven games. LSU is now 3-7-1 O/U/P in their last 11 games vs a team with a winning s/u record. I'm taking the total here today in this matchup. Play UNDER. |
03-13-21 | Cal-Irvine +2.5 v. UC-Santa Barbara | 63-79 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 24 m | Show
Late game on the board here on Saturday is the Big West Championship game between UC Irvine and Cal Santa Barbara from Las Vegas, NV. The Irvine Anteaters have won six games in a row and eight of their last nine. They opened play with a win over Cal Poly SLO, 58-51 and then beat UC Riverside last night, 78-61. Santa Barbara has won four in a row and 17 of their last 18 games. However, they are just 1-4 ATS their last five games. They opened with a win over Long Beach on Thursday, 95-87 and then beat UC Davis last night, 71-55. They lost both games at UC Irvine way back in December, both S/U and ATS. I'm going to take Irvine again here tonight as they seem to have this team's number. Play UC Irvine. |
03-13-21 | Ohio +2.5 v. Buffalo | 84-69 | Win | 100 | 7 h 24 m | Show
MAC Conference Championship Game here this evening has Ohio U taking on Buffalo. Ohio advanced to this point with wins over Kent, 85-63 and last night over Toledo, 87-80. They covered both games and have now covered eight of their last nine games. Buffalo won its 7th straight game with their semifinal victory over Akron last night, 81-74. However, they needed OT to get it. It was their third cover in a row. With games being played back-to-back and three in a row, those OT minutes can take added tolls from a team. I'm taking Ohio in this one tonight. Play OHIO U. |
03-13-21 | Georgetown +8.5 v. Creighton | Top | 73-48 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show |
Georgetown is the Cinderella team of the Big East Conference Tourney. The Hoyas finished the regular season just 8-13 S/U but have won three straight tourney games over Marquette, Villanova and last night over Seton Hall. They have covered three straight games and six of their last eight games. Their only chance to punch their ticket to the NCAA tournament and likely kill their opponents, is a win tonight over Creighton. The Blue Jays opened with a win over Butler, 87-56, before having to battle all night last night and take a close one vs U Conn, 59-56. I am taking the big points tonight with the Hoyas and hope that Creighton doesn't give much thought to them. Play Georgetown. |
03-13-21 | Utah State +2 v. San Diego State | 57-68 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 58 m | Show
Mountain West Championship game from Las Vegas, NV has Utah State taking on San Diego State. No surprise here as the two best in the conference play for the right to advance to the NCAA tourney. Utah State Aggies had wins on Thursday over UNLV, 74-53 and then last night over Colorado State, 62-50. Their defense has been very good, allowing fewer than 60-points in each of their last four games. San Diego State Aztecs opened with a narrow win over Wyoming, 69-66 as a 15-point favorite and then failed to cover again last night over Nevada, 77-70 as a 8-point favorite. The Aztecs have no failed to cover four straight games. Looks to be a good defensive battle tonight, but I'll take the points. Play Utah State. |
03-12-21 | Colorado -1 v. USC | 72-70 | Win | 100 | 6 h 48 m | Show
Late PAC 12 semifinal action from Las Vegas has Colorado taking on USC. Colorado opened up PAC 12 tourney play with a win over California on Thursday night, 61-58 as a 14-point favorite. It was the team's fifth win in a row with three covers in the last four games. One of those wins was at home over USC, 80-62 as a 3.5-point favorite. USC had to go to Overtime last night to get past Utah, 91-85 as a 7.5 point favorite. The Trojans have won three straight, but covered just one of their last five games. Great matchup here late on Friday, but with USC having to go the extra time and then come back tonight, I'll take Colorado here tonight. |
03-12-21 | Nevada +8 v. San Diego State | 70-77 | Win | 100 | 4 h 49 m | Show
Mountain West Semifinal action here on Friday night from Las Vegas has Nevada taking on San Diego State. Nevada finished the season 15-9 S/U and 18-6 ATS. They got the upset win last night over Boise State, 89-82, as a 4.5-point dog. It was the team's sixth win in their last eight games and ninth cover in the last eight games. San Diego State is the conference favorite to win the crown. They were 20-4 S/U during the season with a 13-11 ATS mark. They had a tough time last night with Wyoming, barely getting by the Cowboys 69-66 as a 15-point favorite. It was the team's 12th win in a row. However, they have failed to cover the last three games. They beat Nevada twice this year, 65-60 and 69-67, failing to cover both games as double digit chalks. I like the points again here tonight. Play Nevada. |
03-12-21 | Connecticut +1 v. Creighton | 56-59 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 49 m | Show
Big East Conference Semifinals from New York City here on Friday have U Conn taking on Creighton. U Conn Huskies opened with a resounding victory last night over Depaul, 94-60, easily covering the 12.5-point favorite line. The Huskies are in fine form at the right time, winning five straight games both S/U and ATS. Creighton also opened tourney play with a nice win over Butler on Thursday, 87-56. They have won two of their last four games both S/U and ATS. While Creighton has taken both previous games against U Conn, this seems to be a much improve Huskies club. I'll take the Huskies here today. Play U Conn. |
03-12-21 | Ohio State v. Purdue +1 | 87-78 | Loss | -105 | 3 h 17 m | Show
Early Big 10 Conference play here today at Indianapolis has Ohio State taking on Purdue. The Ohio State Buckeyes opened Big 10 tourney play with a win over Minnesota, 79-75 as a 11-point favorite. The Buckeyes snapped a four-game losing streak. They have also failed to cover the spread in five straight games. They lost at home to Purdue back in mid-January, 65-67 as a 5.5-point favorite. Purdue got a bye in the opening round of play. They have had six days rest to get ready for this game. The Boilermakers have won five straight games both S/U and against the spread. I'm taking Purdue here today as a 1-point dog since they are playing so well and Ohio State hasn't been in good form. Play Purdue. |

The Shockers have gone over in two straight games, scoring 78 and 80 points in those games. Their last game a win over South Florida, 80-63. In fact, both games against South Florida have gone over this year with 159 and 143 points scored in each game. That's what I am on here today. Play the OVER. |

They are also 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. In their one game vs Ole Miss, they lost at home to the Rebles, 74-81, failing to cover the 1-point dog line. Ole Miss comes into this game winners of two in row both S/U and ATS. They are 7-2 S/U and ATS in their last nine games. Ole Miss just the better team here tonight. Play Mississippi. |

Their recent form has been good, covering all four of their last four games and seven of their last eight. In their one game against ECU, they won at home, 71-64, covering the 6-point spread. Monmouth was 0-4 ATS in teir last four games and 2-6 over their last eight. Monmouth has lost its last five games and six of their last seven against the spread. I'll take Fairfield here today. |
03-10-21 | Duke -2 v. Louisville | 70-56 | Win | 100 | 12 h 26 m | Show
Duke looked like the Duke of old yesterday as they demolished the Boston College Eagles, 86-51 in the opening round of the ACC tournament. Duke has had a rough year at just 12-11 S/U and 8-15 ATS. The Blue Devils snapped a three-game losing streak with that win, both S/U and ATS. Though Tuesday's game went Under, no thanks to BC, the Devils have still seen six of their last seven go over and nine of their last 11. Louisville plays their first tourney game today. They were 12-6 S/U and 9-9 ATS on the regular season. The Cardinals lost their last game at home to Virginia, 58-68. Louisville took both games from Duke this year. They won 70-65 at home as a 2-point favorite and then won at Duke, 80-73 in OT as a 5.5-point dog at the end of February. This will only be Louisville's 2nd game in March so could be some rust here for the Cardinal. I don't believe the Cardinals can beat Duke three times in one season. I'll lay the small number with the Blue Devils. Play Duke. |
03-10-21 | Charlotte v. Texas-San Antonio -4.5 | 62-72 | Win | 100 | 4 h 27 m | Show
Conference USA tournament 2nd round action here today from Frisco, TX has Charlotte taking on Texas San Antonio. Charlotte brings a eight game losing streak into today's game. They are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games. TX SA has won eight of their last 10 games S/U and are 7-2-1 ATS in those last 10. San Antonio laying just five points here today looks really good to me. Play Texas San Antonio. |
03-10-21 | Iona +1 v. Siena | Top | 55-52 | Win | 100 | 3 h 56 m | Show |
Metro Atlantic Athletic Quarterfinals from Atlantic City, NJ has Iona taking on Siena. Iona is 9-5 S/U and ATS. They opened with a win yesterday in the opening round over Quinnipiac, 72-48 as a 7-point favorite. It was their third win in a row and seventh of their last eight games. They are also 7-1 ATS during that time. Siena is 12-4 S/U and 7-9 ATS. They are coming off a loss to Canisius, 75-76. They have covered just two of their last six games. Recent form has Iona playing the better ball with a 3-1 ATS record vs 2-2 for Siena. In fact, the last eight games favor Iona. All my numbers have Siena a decent favorite here today. Play Iona. |
03-09-21 | Cal Poly v. CS-Fullerton -5 | 87-82 | Loss | -112 | 10 h 33 m | Show
Big West Conference first round here tonight from Las Vegas has Cal Poly SLO taking on Cal State Fullerton. Cal Poly finished the regular season on a nine-game losing streak. They did better vs the spread, going 5-1 ATS their last six. Cal Fullerton has lost two straight and four of their last five games. My own line on this game has Fullerton around a 8 to 8 1/2 point favorite. They have twice as many wins (6) and while both teams are not very good - Fullerton is the team to advance and cover in this spot. Play Cal State Fullerton. |
03-09-21 | Oakland +2.5 v. Cleveland State | 69-80 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Horizon league championship game here today has Oakland taking on Cleveland State for the right to advance to the NCAA tournament. The loser, likely done for the year or relegated to a minor tournament. Oakland advanced to this spot with a win over Northern Kentucky last night, 69-58 as a 1-point dog. It was the team's fourth win in their last five games both S/U and ATS. Cleveland State won last night over Wisconsin Milwaukee, 71-65, just covering the 6-point favorite line. It was the team's third win in a row. Cleveland State has won both previous meetings this year with Oakland on their home court, 80-72 and 90-78, covering both games. Both games they were a favorite of fewer then 2-points. Yet today on a neutral court they are 2 1/2 point favorites. Tough to beat a team three times in one season. I'll take the small dog here with Oakland. |
03-09-21 | Elon +4 v. Drexel | 56-63 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Colonial Conference Championship game here today at Harrisonburg, VA has Elon and Drexel both looking to punch their ticket to the NCAA tournament. Loser may be done for the year as both teams fair to midland at best. Elon has advanced with wins over Towson, James Madison and yesterday over Hofstra, 76-58. The latter two both as dogs. They have extended their ATS win streak to seven games now. The Drexel Dragons have advanced with wins over College of Charleston and yesterday over Northeastern, 74-67. Drexel laying 4.5 points here today and for me that's too many points to a team that can win this game outright. Play ELON. |
03-09-21 | Boston College v. Duke OVER 151.5 | Top | 51-86 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 8 m | Show |
ACC Conference First Round action finds Boston College taking on Duke from Greensboro, NC. Both teams have struggled this year, BC more though. The Eagles are just 4-15 S/U and 8-10 ATS on the year. However, I'm looking at the total here tonight where BC has gone over in 13 of their 19 games. The Eagles have gone over in three straight games and six of their last eight games. In their one game vs Duke this year they lost 82-83, going over the 150 point total. Duke is 11-11 S/U and 7-15 ATS on the season. The Blue Devils are 14-8 O/U. They have gone over in six straight games and nine of their last 10 games. Both teams give up a lot of points and that's what I'm sticking with here tonight. The OVER. |

Summit League Conference Semifinals here today has North Dakota State taking on South Dakota in the late game from Sioux Falls, SD. This game will be on ESPN2 T.V. The North Dakota State Bison are 14-11 S/U and 14-9-1 ATS. They started this tournament with a win over Missouri KC, 59-65, pushing the 4-point chalk line. They have now won three of their last four games, but just 3-3 over their last six. Plus they have covered just two of their last six games and three of the last eight. The South Dakota Coyotes are 14-10 S/U and 10-12-1 ATS. The Coyotes have won three of their last four games and covered two of those four. The played North Dakota State in a two day match on Feb 7/8. They won and covered the first game, 80-71 and lost the 2nd game, 77-89. Slight home advantage to South Dakota here plus getting three points. I'll take the Coyotes in this one. Play South Dakota. |
03-08-21 | Northern Kentucky -1 v. Oakland | Top | 58-69 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 59 m | Show |
Horizon League Semifinals here in the late game has Northern Kentucky taking on Oakland. The Northern Kentucky Norse are 14-10 S/U and 12-10-1 ATS on the season. The have won three of their last four games and nine of their last 11 games. In addition they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are just 11-17 S/U 16-11 ATS on the season. The Grizzlies have won three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. Though they are just 3-4 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Line on this game is around 1 point on either side. I like Northern in this one. Play Northern Kentucky |
03-08-21 | Elon +5 v. Hofstra | 76-58 | Win | 100 | 3 h 36 m | Show
Colonial Conference Semifnals here today from Harrisonburg, VA has Elon taking on Hofstra. The Elon Phoenix are just 9-8 on the season but playing very good of late. Elon has won and covered their last six games. Meanwhile, the Hofstra Pride have lost three of their last five games both S/U and ATS. They snapped a two-game losing streak with a win last time out over Delaware, 83-75. Still, Elon playing very well and we're getting 5-points here today. Play Elon. |
03-07-21 | Texas Tech +8 v. Baylor | 73-88 | Loss | -107 | 5 h 4 m | Show
Texas Tech has made a quiet impression this year to the tune of a 17-8 record a reason for them to be invited to the NCAA tournament. The Red Raiders have won three straight games both S/U and ATS. The Raiders played Baylor back on Jan 16th and lost at home 60-68, failing to cover the 4.5 point dog spread. Baylor is 20-1 and really has little motivation to win this game. The Bears will be in the NCAA tournament. Their recent form shows they are doing little more than winning straight up. They had their only loss of the season on Feb 27 at Kansas, 58-71. They have covered just one of their last six games. The Bears laying around 8-points here today. I look for Tech to give them all they can handle as the game means more to the visitor in this one. Play Texas Tech. |
03-07-21 | Drake v. Loyola-Chicago -7.5 | Top | 65-75 | Win | 100 | 3 h 16 m | Show |
Missouri Valley Conference Tourney Championship game here today from St Louis has Drake taking on Loyola Chicago. Drake is 25-3 S/U and 19-5-1 ATS overall on the season. The Bulldogs are coming off a win over Missouri State, 71-69, just covering the 1-point spread. They lost the previous game at Bradley, 61-67 as a 8.5 point favorite. The Bulldogs will have to go the rest of the way without one of their best players in ShanQuan Hemphill who is out with a foot injury. That has impacted this team in recent weeks. Loyola Chicago Ramblers are 23-4 S/U and 15-9-1 ATS. The Ramblers have won five straight and 15 of their last 16 games. In their two games at Drake, they split, winning the first 81-54 and losing the second, 50-51. Drake will need to keep this score low to have a shot of winning. I like Loyola much more and Drake can take consolation that they will make the NCAA's anyways. Play Loyola Chicago. |
03-07-21 | Wisconsin v. Iowa -6.5 | 73-77 | Loss | -115 | 2 h 34 m | Show
Big 10 action here on Sunday has Wisconsin at Iowa. Wisconsin needs every win it can get with a 16-10 overall record. They have lost two straight games and four of their last five. Not exactly the form you want to be heading into March. Iowa has been in good form, with an overall record of 19-7. The Hawkeyes have won two straight games and six of their last seven. They are 13-2 S/U and 10-5 ATS at home. Iowa laying around 5-points here today at home. The way Wisconsin has been playing, I'll lay those points. Play Iowa. |
03-06-21 | Duke v. North Carolina OVER 149.5 | 73-91 | Win | 100 | 6 h 49 m | Show
An age old rivalry renews again here today as Duke takes on North Carolina. While neither team having the success they did in seasons past, these games still hold lots of excitement. The Duke Blue Devils are just 11-10 on the season. They have lost two straight games at Georgia Tech, 77-81 and at home against Louisville, 73-80. They have also gone over in five straight games and 10 of their last 11 games. North Carolina doing a bit better then Duke with their 15-9 record. They are coming off a loss at Syracuse, 70-72. I look for lots of points in this rivalry match today. Play OVER. |
03-06-21 | Iowa State v. Kansas State -4.5 | 56-61 | Win | 100 | 5 h 48 m | Show
Iowa State is hoping for a fast end to this horrible season. The Cyclones are have just two wins against 20 losses. You have to go all the way to before Christmas for the last time this team won a game. They are also just 2-6 ATS in their last eight games. Kansas State also looking forward to rebuilding next year as they sit 7-19 on the season. They have won two of their last three games both S/U and ATS. Don't expect a lot of points in this game as neither team scores much. But the line is low enough for me to be on the host here today. Play Kansas State. |
03-06-21 | USC v. UCLA OVER 135 | 64-63 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 48 m | Show

USC snapped a two-game losing streak with a win at home over Stanford, 79-42. UCLA is 17-7 S/U and 11-13 ATS on the year. The Bruins are coming off a loss at Oregon 74-82, failing to cover the spread and going over the total. USC has gone over in five straight road games vs a team with a home record of 60% or better. When these teams get together you can usually expect the points to fly. Take the OVER. |
03-06-21 | LSU +2.5 v. Missouri | 86-80 | Win | 100 | 3 h 47 m | Show
The LSU Tigers are 15-8 S/U and 10-13 ATS on the season. The Tigers won't likely be in the NCAA tourney, but should make one of the lesser tournaments. The Tigers snapped a two-game losing streak last time out with a win over Vanderbilt, 83-68. The Missouri Tigers are 15-7 and pretty much in the same boat as LSU. They have lost four of their last six games both S/U and ATS. Both teams struggling a bit, so I'll be on the dog here today. Play LSU. |
03-06-21 | Indiana v. Purdue -6.5 | 58-67 | Win | 100 | 2 h 47 m | Show
The Indiana Hoosiers having a very off season at just 12-13 on the year. They can climb back to the .500 mark today with a win. However, that doesn't look good at a descent Purdue team here today and the fact that they have lost four straight games both S/U and ATS. Purdue hoping for a NCAA bid with their 17-8 record, but they need every win at this point. The Boilermakers have won their last four games both S/U and ATS. Two teams going in opposite directions here today. Play Purdue. |

03-06-21 | Oklahoma State v. West Virginia -10 | Top | 85-80 | Loss | -104 | 2 h 47 m | Show |
Oklahoma State Cowboys are 17-7 S/U and 14-9-1 ATS on the season. The Cowboys are coming off a loss at Baylor, 70-81 as a 12.5 point dog. They have won five of their last six and covered five in a row. One issue though will be the availability of Guard Cade Cunningham, who is questionable today for the Cowboys with a ankle injury. West Virginia is 18-7 S/U and 13-12 ATS on the season. The Mountaineers are coming off a win over TCU, 76-67, but failed to cover the 13-point line. They are now 4-1 ATS in their last five games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games. I'll lay the points with West Virginia here today. |
03-05-21 | Eastern Kentucky v. Morehead State OVER 142.5 | 64-67 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 45 m | Show
Eastern Kentucky Colonels having a fine season with a 22-6 S/U record and 15-8-3 ATS mark. They are also 16-9-1 O/U on the season. Today they play in the Semifinals of the Ohio Valley Conference tournament from Evansville, IN. The Colonels are 12-1 O/U in their 13 away games this year. Morehead State is 21-7 S/U and 17-9 ATS on the season. You have to all the way back to Dec 7 when these teams first met at Eastern. Morehead lost that game, 68-71. Then they met again on December 14th at Morehead with the Eagles winning 75-62. I have to look at which team I expect to set the tempo in this game. On a neutral site I'm looking at that team to be Eastern Kentucky and for me that means an OVER. |
03-05-21 | Colorado State +1 v. Nevada | 82-85 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 14 m | Show
Colorado State Rams having a fine season at 17-4 S/U and 11-8 ATS on the season. The Rams are 7-3 S/U and 5-4 ATS on the road. The Rams have won five straight and 11-2 in their last 13 games. The Rams are also 7-4 ATS in their last 11 games. Nevada is 13-9 S/U and 15-6 ATS on the season. The Wolfpack are 8-2 S/U and ATS at home. They have lost two straight games, both at Utah State. They are also 6-6 S/U in their last 12 games. CSU moved to a 1 or 1 1/2 point favorite and I'll lay that number here tonight. Play Colorado State. |
03-05-21 | Samford v. Mercer -7.5 | 59-87 | Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show
Southern Conference Tournament action here on Friday has Samford taking on Mercer. The Samford Bulldogs are 6-12 S/U and 6-9-1 ATS on the season. They are 2-7 S/U and 4-4-1 ATS on the road. The Dogs have lost five straight games and are 1-9 in their last 10 games. That also includes a 2-7-1 ATS mark during that span. The Mercer Bears are 15-10 S/U and 9-13 ATS on the season. The Bears are coming off a loss at Western Carolina, 61-85. They did take both games from Samford this year, 77-70 at Samford and 89-82 at Mercer. I look for Mercer to take this one and cover the spread. Play Mercer. |
03-05-21 | Florida Gulf Coast -2.5 v. North Alabama | 81-96 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 14 m | Show
Extra board tournament action here today has Florida Gulf Coast taking on North Alabama in the semifinals. The Gulf Coast Eagles are 10-7 in limited play this season. They have won three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. They are 8-6-1 ATS overall on the season. They just had their two-game set with North Alabama, winning both 69-60 and 86-60, covering both games. North Alabama is 12-10 S/U and 7-11 ATS on the season. The Lions have won two straight games after a six game losing streak. They are just 2-7 ATS on the road this season. Hard to beat a team three times in a season, but I believe Florida Gulf Coast is up to it. Take Florida Gulf Coast. |
03-04-21 | Northern Colorado v. Weber State -10 | Top | 59-60 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The Northern Colorado Bears could fall back to the .500 mark with a loss here tonight at Weber State. The Bears are coming off a loss to Portland State, 65-73 as a 2-point home favorite. Weber State is having a fine season at 16-5 S/U and 14-4 ATS on the year. The Wildcats are a perfect 10-0 S/U at home and 7-0 ATS. The Cats have also won five straight games and nine of their last 10 while covering eight of those games. Weber is 13-2 ATS in their last 15 home games vs Northern Colorado. I'll lay the points here tonight with Weber State. |
03-04-21 | TCU v. West Virginia -13 | 67-76 | Loss | -108 | 5 h 36 m | Show
TCU Horned Frogs look to stay above the .500 mark today as they face West Virginia. The Frogs are just 12-11 S/U and 8-14-1 ATS on the season. TCU is coming off a loss at Texas Tech, 49-69. It was the team's fourth loss in their last five games and their ninth in their last 12. They are also just 1-5 ATS in their last six games. West Virginia Mountaineers are 17-7 S/U and 13-11 ATS on the season. They are coming off a loss at home to Baylor, 89-94, but covered the 5.5-point dog line. It was the team's four cover in a row and sixth in their last seven games. West Virginia is 7-2 ATS in their last nine vs TCU and 16-2 ATS in their last 18. I'll be on the home club here tonight. Play West Virginia. |
03-03-21 | Mississippi State -5 v. Texas A&M | 63-57 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show
The Mississippi State Bulldogs look to stay above the .500 mark here tonight as they play at Texas A&M. The dogs are coming off a loss to Alabama, 59-64, but did cover the 6.5 point dog line. The Dogs have covered three straight games. They will also have some revenge on their minds here tonight, having lost to A&M at home back on Jan 13th, 55-56. This Bulldog team has been very good defensively, holding six of their last eight opponents to 61 points or fewer. Texas A&M also looks to stay above .500 tonight as they sit 8-7 on the season with a 5-10 ATS spread record. The Aggies are 0-3 both S/U and ATS in the role of a home dog this season. State will look for some payback here tonight and I expect that to happen. Play Mississippi State. |
03-03-21 | Creighton v. Villanova -4.5 | 60-72 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show
The Creighton Blue Jays are having a fine season with a 17-6 record as we enter the home stretch to the regular season. The Jays are coming off a loss at Xavier last time out, 69-77 as a 4-point favorite. That loss snapped a four game S/U and ATS win streak. That streak also included a win at home over Villanova, 86-70. The Villanova Wildcats are 15-4 S/U and 11-8 ATS on the season. They are 8-0 S/U and 5-3 ATS at home. The Cats are coming off a loss at Butler, 61-73 as a 12.5 point favorite. They had won four of their previous five before that loss. I look for Villanova to bounce back here at home tonight to make up for that horrible performance at Butler. Plus, they haven't lost yet on their home court and this line is not too much at around -4 points. Take Villanova. |
03-02-21 | Marquette -5.5 v. DePaul | Top | 77-71 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show |
The Marquette Golden Eagles are 11-13 S/U and 9-15 ATS on the season. The Eagles are 5-6 S/U and 4-7 ATS on the road. Marquette had its two game win streak snapped last game at U Conn, 62-80 as a 7-point dog. The Eagles have covered four of their last six overall. Depaul just 4-12 S/U and 7-9 ATS on the season. The Blue Demons are 2-7 S/U and 3-6 ATS at home. The Demons have lost two straight games and seven of their last 10. Marquette laying 5.5 points on the road here tonight. They are 8-4 ATS their last 12 times laying these points. Depaul has covered the last three in this series, including their game back on Jan 23 where they won at Marquette, 68-61 as a 9-point dog. Still, Marquette has covered six of the last 11 in the series and 10 of the last 18 in Depaul. Take Marquette here tonight. |
03-02-21 | Xavier -2.5 v. Georgetown | Top | 66-72 | Loss | -108 | 8 h 48 m | Show |
The Xavier Musketeers are 13-5 S/U and 8-9 ATS on the season. The Musketeers are also 2-3 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the road. Xavier is coming off a win at home over Creighton, 77-69 as a 4-point dog. The Georgetown Hoyas are 8-11 S/U and 11-8 ATS on the season. The Hoyas are 6-6 S/U and 7-5 ATS at home. They are coming off a win over Depaul, 68-60 and have covered three of the last four and seven of their last nine games. Xavier is 10-5 ATS in their last 15 vs Georgetown. They are also 5-3 ATS at Georgetown. Georgetown has not played Xavier since just before Covid stopped the season last year. I will take the visitor in this one. Play Xavier. |
03-01-21 | Prairie View A&M -12 v. Alabama State | 70-67 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 35 m | Show
Extra board action here today has the Prairie View A&M Panthers playing at Alabama State. The Panthers are 11-4 S/U and 10-3-1 ATS on the season. The Panthers are 4-4 S/U and 5-2 ATS on the road. The Panthers have won 10 straight games and are 7-2-1 ATS during that span. The Alabama State Hornets have just four wins out of 15 games this season. They are also 8-7 ATS overall and 4-4 ATS at home. The Hornets have lost three straight games but have covered three of their last four. These teams met at Prairie View back on Feb 1st with the Panthers taking that game, 87-63. The Panthers are about a 12 point road favorite. However, my own numbers have them from 16 to 20 point favorites in this contest. Play Prairie View. |
03-01-21 | North Carolina v. Syracuse +2 | Top | 70-72 | Win | 100 | 8 h 35 m | Show |
North Carolina Tar Heels are 15-8 S/U and 10-12-1 ATS on the season. The Tar Heels are just 3-6 S/U and 2-7 ATS on the road this year. They are coming off a home win over Florida State, 78-70 and a loss before that vs Marquette, 70-83. Syracuse Orange are 13-8 S/U and 8-13 ATS on the season. The Orange are 11-1 S/U and 6-6 at home. The line her today makes NCU a slight favorite. Considering the Orange are 11-1 S/U at home and NCU has a losing record on the road, I'll take the home team today. Play Syracuse. |
02-28-21 | Nevada +7.5 v. Utah State | 66-87 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 12 m | Show
The late game on the board today has the Nevada Wolfpack playing the second of a back-to-back spot at Utah State Aggies here tonight. The Pack trailed big at times in their first game at Utah State. However, they rallied late to close the gap, but still came up on the short end of a 72-75 final score. They did cover the 9-point spread, their fifth cover in a row. The loss was also their first after winning four straight. Utah State improved to 15-7 with that win. The win also snapped a two game losing streak, both at Boise State. However, despite the win, they have failed to cover any of their last three games and are just 2-5 ATS in their last five. I like the points once again here on Sunday. Play Nevada. |
02-28-21 | North Dakota State -1 v. South Dakota | Top | 89-77 | Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show |
The South Dakota Coyotes where having a decent season at 13-9 S/U and 9-11-1 ATS. They have won two straight games, the last over today's North Dakota State team, 80-71, covering the 1.5 point spread. However, they could be without their best player here today in AJ Plitzuweit who was injured and likely out the rest of the season in the N.Dakota State win. The Coyotes are only one win away from the Summit league title and No 1 seed in their conference tournament. But the loss of Plitzuweit to a knee injury has really put a damper on their season. AJ Plitzuweit average 19 points per game this year and was injured late in their game. This is a huge loss for the Coyotes, one I am not sure they can rebound from. Perfect situation for North Dakota State to get the win here today. |
02-28-21 | Iowa v. Ohio State -2 | 73-57 | Loss | -115 | 4 h 21 m | Show
Big 10 action here as Iowa Hawkeyes visit the Ohio State Buckeys. Iowa is 17-7 on the season and looking to amend for their blowout loss at Michigan on Thursday, 57-79. The loss snapped a four game win streak for Iowa. They are 14-10 ATS on the season and 5-4 on the road. Ohio State is 18-6 S/U and 13-9-1 ATS on the season. The Buckeyes are 10-2 S/U and 6-5 ATS at home. They look to snap a 2-game losing streak here today. They are coming off a loss at home to Michigan 87-92 and then at Michigan State, 67-71. They had covered five straight games before their recent skid. I like Ohio State to bounce back here today. Play Ohio State. |
02-28-21 | Pittsburgh v. NC State -7 | 62-65 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 11 m | Show
The Pitt Panthers look to keep from falling below .500 here today at NC State. The Panthers are 9-9 S/U and 9-8-1 ATS on the season. They are 3-3 S/U and 4-2 ATS on the road. The Panthers have slumped badly of late, losing four straight games and seven of their last eight. They are also just 2-5-1 ATS during that span. NC State Wolfpack is 11-9 S/U and 9-10-1 ATS on the season. The Pack are 6-4 S/U and 3-6-1 ATS at home. They have been hot of late, winning and covering their last three games. Including in that was a win at Pitt, 74-73 which the final was really the closest Pitt ever got in that game. I like the hot team here today and that's NC State. |
02-28-21 | Michigan State +2.5 v. Maryland | 55-73 | Loss | -102 | 2 h 11 m | Show
Big 10 action here today has the Michigan State Spartans playing at the Maryland Terrapins. Maryland is 14-10 S/U and 9-13 ATS on the season. The Terps are 10-5 S/U at home, but just 4-9 ATS. Maryland has won four straight games, but those have come with two wins over Nebraska, Rutgers and Minnesota. They are 3-5 ATS in their last eight games. Michigan State has been a tough team to gauge at times this year. They have either played really well or really poor. Lately it's been the former, with three straight wins and covers to improve to 13-9 on the season. The Spartans beat three of the best in the Big 10, Indiana, Illinois and Ohio State. I'll take a chance that the Dr Jekyl and not the Mr Hyde shows up here today. Play Michigan State. |
02-27-21 | Missouri State -5 v. Evansville | Top | 63-72 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 17 m | Show |
The Missouri State Bears improved to 15-5 last night with a win over this same Evansville team. The Bears shot nearly 70% from the field en route to their 90-81 win. They also hit 68% from 3-point arc. The defense could do better though, allowing 51% from the field and 47.6% from 3-point arc to Evansville. Still, it was the team's seventh straight win and they are 6-0-1 ATS during that streak. Evansville lost its seven in a row and is 2-4-1 during that span. I don't see anything changing here on Saturday. Play Missouri State. |
02-27-21 | Alabama v. Mississippi State +6 | 64-59 | Win | 100 | 6 h 19 m | Show
Alabama Crimson Tide are 18-6 S/U and 12-12 ATS on the season. They are 5-3 S/U and 3-5 ATS on the road and just 1-4 ATS when a road favorite. The Tide are coming off a loss at Arkansas, 66-81 as a 2-point dog. The Mississippi State Bulldogs have climbed to 13-11 on the season after two straight wins. The Dogs have a stingy defense and that's what gets them covers. They allow just 65.6 ppg against them overall and 63.3 ppg at home. These teams met back on Jan 23rd in Alabama with the Tide winning 81-73, but failing to cover the 9.5 point line. If the Dogs can keep this score in the lower range, they get the cover here tonight. Play Mississippi State. |
02-26-21 | UC-Santa Barbara -2 v. Cal-Riverside | 72-68 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
UC Santa Barbara looks to punch their ticket to the NCAA tourney as they have a nice 15-3 S/U and 11-6 ATS records. The Gauchos are also 7-3 S/U and 6-4 ATS on the road this season. They have won 12 straight games and during that span they are 9-3 ATS. UC Riverside is 10-6 S/U and 9-6-1 ATS on the season. The Highlanders are 4-3 S/U and 3-4 ATS at home this season. They have split their last four games S/U and are 1-3 ATS. Santa Barbara needs every win to secure that NCAA bid. Play UC Santa Barbara. |
02-26-21 | Georgia State -2 v. South Alabama | 84-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show
Georgia State Panthers having a fine season with a 12-5 S/U mark and 8-7 ATS. The Panthers are 3-4 both S/U and ATS on the road. They won four straight games and covered three of those. The South Alabama Jaguars are 16-8 S/U and 10-10 ATS on the season. They have a 10-3 S/U and 4-5 ATS mark at home this year. The road team is 3-0-1 ATS the last four meetings in this series. Georgia State laying around 2 or 2 1/2 points here tonight. I'll take the road team in this one. Play Georgia State. |
02-26-21 | Nevada v. Utah State -8 | 72-75 | Loss | -113 | 7 h 19 m | Show
Nevada Wolfpack looks to build on their four game win streak here tonight. The Pack are 13-7 S/U and 14-5 ATS on the season. They are just 5-5 S/U on the road though. They have lost their last two road games, both at Wyoming, failing to cover both spreads. The Utah State Aggies are 14-7 S/U and 13-7 ATS on the season. They are 7-2 S/U and 6-2 ATS at home. The Aggies will be glad to return home after a five game road trip in which they went 2-3 both S/U and ATS. Utah State much better at home and they will snap that two game losing streak here tonight. Play Utah State. |
02-26-21 | Missouri State -4.5 v. Evansville | 90-81 | Win | 100 | 5 h 19 m | Show
Missouri State Bears are 15-5 S/U and 12-5-1 ATS on the season. The Bears are 6-1 S/U and 5-1-1 ATS on the road. They have won six in a row and are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games. Evansville is just 8-14 S/U and 11-10-1 ATS on the season. The Aces have lost six straight games and are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games. Missouri State much better than the Aces and I'll take them here tonight. Play Missouri State. |
02-26-21 | Drake -8.5 v. Bradley | Top | 80-71 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show |
The Drake Bulldogs looking forward to an NCAA bid with their fine 23-2 S/U record. They have also been very good to bettors with a 17-4-1 ATS mark. The Bulldogs are 8-1 S/U and 6-2 ATS on the road this year. They have won four straight and are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four. The Bradley Braves had a good start to the season but have fallen on hard times of late. The Braves are 11-14 S/U and 6-13-3 ATS on the season. They have lost three straight games both S/U and ATS. The Braves are also 2-10 S/U and 1-9-2 their last 12 games. Drake is laying 8.5 points on the road here tonight but they should be up to covering that number. Play Drake. |
02-26-21 | Drexel v. James Madison -1 | 84-78 | Loss | -115 | 2 h 12 m | Show
Early action here on Friday has the Drexel Dragons playing at James Madison. Drexel is 8-7 S/U and 10-5 ATS on the season. They are 3-5 S/U and 5-3 ATS on the road. They are 3-5 S/U and 4-4 ATS in their last eight games. One of those was a 64-73 loss at James Madison. The Dragons failed to cover the 2-point dog spread. James Madison is 13-5 S/U and 12-3 ATS on the season. The Dukes are 10-2 S/U and 7-2 ATS at home. James Madison has been very good at winning and covering spreads. While this is not a back-to-back spot, I will like Madison here in this game. Play James Madison. |
02-25-21 | Portland State v. Northern Colorado | 64-66 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Portland State Vikings look to get back to the .500 mark tonight here in Northern Colorado. The Vikings are 8-9 S/U and 7-5-1 ATS on the season. They are just 1-5 S/U on the road, but have a 3-2-1 ATS mark. Portland has been playing well, winning four straight games and six of their last seven. They are also 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games. The Vikings are also 6-2-1 ATS on the road their last nine games. Northern Colorado looks to keep from falling back to the .500 mark tonight as the Bears sit at 9-8 S/U and 6-8 ATS on the season. The Bears are 5-4 S/U and 1-5 ATS at home. This game likely 1 point favorite on either site. We need an outright win here tonight and that will be on Portland State. |
02-25-21 | Weber State v. CS Sacramento +6.5 | 82-73 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 30 m | Show
The Weber State Wildcats are having a fine season with a 14-5 S/U and 13-3 ATS mark. The Cats are 4-5 S/U and 6-3 ATS on the road. Play Sacramento State. |
02-25-21 | Robert Morris v. Detroit -10 | Top | 73-83 | Push | 0 | 7 h 25 m | Show |
Horizon League tournament action begins here tonight. The games are hosted by the home teams here with no neutral court. Robert Morris plays at Detroit in first round action here tonight. Robert Morris likely will see its season come to an end here tonight. The Colonials are just 4-14 S/U on the season and have no postseason in their futures. This will also be the third straight game against Detroit as they lost the first two at Detroit, 61-80 and 74-85, failing to cover both as 9-pint dogs. Here tonight they get a few more points to 10.5 points. The Detroit Titans are 11-9 S/U and 12-8 ATS on the season. They have won two straight and eight of their nine games both S/U and ATS. Detroit will take its third from RM here tonight. Play Detroit. |

The Xavier Musketeers are 12-4 S/U and 7-8 ATS on the season. The Musketeers are also 2-2 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the road this season. Xavier coming off a win at home over Butler, 63-51, but failing to cover the 12.5 point spread. Still, the Musketeers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games. The Providence Friars look to keep from falling below .500 here today as they sit at 11-11 S/U and 9-12 ATS. The Friars are 6-2 S/U and 4-4 ATS at home. The Friars are coming off a loss at U Conn, 61-73. They are 3-8 S/U in their last 11 games and 5-6 ATS. Providence hasn't been very good in the role of a home dog, going 3-8 ATS the last 11 tries. The road team has covered five of the last seven in this series and that's who I will be on here today. Play Xavier. |
02-24-21 | NC State v. Virginia -11 | 68-61 | Loss | -107 | 5 h 12 m | Show
NC State Wolfpack is 10-9 S/U and 8-10-1 ATS on the season. The Pack are 3-5 S/U and 4-4 ATS on the road this season. The Pack have won and covered their last two games, bot on the road. Still, they are just 2-6-2 ATS in their last 10 games. They are also 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven as a road dog. The Virginia Cavaliers are 15-5 S/U and 9-9-1 ATS on the season. They are also 10-0 S/U and 5-4 ATS at home this year. The Cavs look to snap a two-game losing streak here today at home against the Pack. The Cavs usually bounce back well after a loss, evidenced by their 8-1-1 ATS mark their last 10 following a ATS loss. The home team is 3-1-1 ATS the last five in this series and that's who I will be on here today. Play Virginia. |
