01-28-21 | Memphis +4 v. SMU | 65-67 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show
The Memphis Tigers are 9-5 S/U and 4-9 ATS on the season. The Tigers have won three straight games over Wichita State, East Carolina and last time out over this SMU team, 76-72. Now they hit the road to play SMU here tonight. SMU Mustangs started the season 6-0, but have since gone 2-3 S/U and 1-4 ATS. Memphis is 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a winning record. SMU is just 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. I'll take the visitor here tonight. Play Memphis. |
01-27-21 | Stephen F Austin +3 v. Abilene Christian | Top | 62-82 | Loss | -111 | 5 h 59 m | Show |
Stephen Austin Lumberjacks are 9-2 S/U and 3-4-1 ATS this season. They have won six straight games and covered three of their last four. The Jacks were preseason favorites to win the Southland conference and thus far they haven't disappointed. They are 5-0 in conference and only Sam Houston is also undefeated at 6-0. Meanwhile, Abilene Christian is 4-1 in conference play and nipping at the leader's heals. The Wildcats are 12-3 S/U and 7-3 ATS on the season. They are off a win over Central Arkansas, 93-58. Austin getting some points here tonight looks good to me. I'll take Stephen Austin and the points. |
01-26-21 | Georgia Tech +6 v. Duke | 68-75 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 8 m | Show
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are 7-4 S/U and 6-5 ATS on their season. The Jackets had their five-game win streak snapped last time out at Virginia, 62-64, though they covered the 8.5-point dog spread. They have now covered four straight games. Duke having a very off season for them. The Blue Devils are just 5-5 S/U and 1-9 ATS on the season. The Blue Devils have lost three straight games (all on the road). Duke returns home where they are 4-2 S/U and 0-6 ATS. Hard to consider laying points with a Duke team that has struggled this year. Yet, here today they are installed as a 6-point chalk. Likely more on reputation at this point. I'll take Tech here tonight and won't be surprised by an outright GT win. Play Georgia Tech. |
01-26-21 | Drake -3.5 v. Missouri State | Top | 68-61 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show |
Missouri Valley conference titans meet here tonight at the JQH Arena as Drake takes on Missouri State. Drake is 13-0 S/U and 11-0 ATS and plays for the first time in about three weeks due to COVID issues in their program. Drake has been shooting lights out, averaging 83.9 ppg and 53.5% shooting from the field. Missouri State looks to blemish that Drake perfect record here tonight. Mo State is 9-1 S/U and 7-1 ATS on the season. The Bears lone loss coming at Northern Iowa, 75-85. The Bears also a very good scoring team with a 81.3 ppg average on 50.7% from the field. I've done well with Drake all season and I will stick with them here tonight in what will be one of their smallest lines. Play Drake. |
01-23-21 | Arkansas State v. UL - Lafayette -10 | Top | 74-77 | Loss | -108 | 6 h 14 m | Show |
Sun Belt action here on Saturday has 5-7 Arkansas State taking on 10-4 UL Lafayette. These teams are playing the 2nd of their back-to-back series with Lafayette taking the first game, 81-68 as a 9-point favorite. It was the Indians third loss in their last five games. Moreover, the Indians are now 0-6 S/U and 0-5-1 ATS on the road. Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns improved to 10-4 S/U and 5-5-2 ATS with that win. They are 8-2 S/U and 4-2-2 ATS at home this season. The favorite has covered four of the last five in this series and I don't see that changing here today. Arkansas State will still be looking for that first win on the road when this one is done. Play UL Lafayette. |
01-23-21 | Clemson v. Florida State -6.5 | 61-80 | Win | 100 | 14 h 50 m | Show
The Clemson Tigers look to snap a two-game losing streak. The Tigers are 9-3 S/U and 7-5 ATS on the season. The are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. They are also 1-2 S/U and 0-3 ATS in their three road games this year. Florida State Seminoles are 8-2 S/U and 6-4 ATS this season. The Seminoles have won three straight games both S/U and ATS. That includes a win at Louisville, 78-65 and a home win over North Carolina, 82-75. Now they will host Clemson. The home team has covered five of the last six in this series and that's what I'm looking at here on Saturday. Play Florida State. |
01-23-21 | Auburn +3 v. South Carolina | 109-86 | Win | 100 | 11 h 50 m | Show
The Auburn Tigers are 8-7 S/U and 7-7-1 ATS on the season. They saw their two-game win streak snapped last time out at Arkansas, 73-75, but covered the 5.5-point dog line. It was the team's fourth cover in a row. The South Carolina Gamecocks are 3-4 S/U and ATS on the season. The Gamecocks have played just three games in January and lost two of those. They are also 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. Auburn a small dog here today where the dog has covered 17 of the last 24 in this series. I'll take the Tigers in this one. Play Auburn. |
01-22-21 | Nevada v. Wyoming +3.5 | 64-71 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
The Nevada Wolf Pack are 9-5 S/U and 7-6 ATS on the season. The Pack have won two straight games, both over Fresno State and covered both those games. The rebounded from a pair of losses to San Diego State. Now they will play two at Wyoming. The Wyoming Cowboys are 8-5 S/U and 5-8 ATS on the season. The Cowboys are 4-3 S/U and 2-5 ATS at home They snapped a four game losing streak with a win at Air Force last time out, 77-58. Wyoming does well as a dog, evidenced by their 10-3 ATS record their last 13 games. The dog has covered seven of the last eight in this series and that's who I will be on here tonight. Play Wyoming. |
01-22-21 | Illinois-Chicago -1 v. Youngstown State | 67-66 | Push | 0 | 5 h 5 m | Show
The Illinois Chicago Flames are 7-4 S/U and 6-4-1 ATS on the season. The Flames have won two straight games, both over Robert Morris and covered both those contests. The Flames begin what will be the 1st of a back-to-back spot at Youngstown State tonight. The Youngstown State Penguins have dropped to 7-7 S/U and 3-7-1 ATS on the season after losing three straight games both S/U and ATS. After gaining a win at Wright State, 74-72, they lost the next one to Wright by 38 points and then dropped both road games at Oakland. Illinois Chicago is a good road team, going 9-4-1 ATS in their last 15 away games. Laying just about 1-point here tonight I'll be on Illinois Chicago. |
01-21-21 | Arizona v. Arizona State +2.5 | 84-82 | Win | 100 | 9 h 2 m | Show
Rivalry game here on Thursday has the Arizona State Sun Devils hosting the Arizona Wildcats. The Sun Devils are just 4-6 S/U and 1-9 ATS on the season. They have lost four straight games S/U and six games vs the number. Arizona is 10-3 S/U and 9-4 ATS on the season. The Cats are 3-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS on the road. They are coming off a win at Oregon State, 98-64 as a 8-point favorite. That broke a two game straight up losing streak and three game spread losing streak. In this rivalry we can throw out the numbers. Yes, the numbers look heavily skewed in favor of the visitor. However, these are the kinds of games that will put some life into a team like ASU. I'll take a chance with them here tonight and play the host. Take Arizona State. |
01-21-21 | St. Mary's v. Loyola Marymount +2.5 | 65-61 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 1 m | Show
St Marys Gaels are 9-5 S/U and 7-6 ATS on the season. The Gaels are riding a 3-game losing streak after dropping to their rivals Gonzaga, 59-73 last time out. That means they have now lost four of their last five games. Surprisingly, the Gaels have just one true road game this season and that was their opening day loss to Memphis, 56-73. Loyola Marymount Lions are 7-4 S/U and 5-6 ATS on the season. The Lions are coming off a win over San Diego, 72-69. They have a perfect home record this year at 7-0 S/U and 4-3 ATS. I like Loyola here tonight. They are a small home dog and they have yet to lose on their home court. Play Loyola Marymount. |
01-21-21 | Wichita State +3.5 v. Memphis | 52-72 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 22 m | Show
Wichita State Shockers are 8-3 S/U and 6-2-1 ATS on the season. The Shockers are 3-1 S/U and 4-0 ATS on the road. They have won two straight games and covered the spread in six straight. The Memphis Tigers are 6-5 S/U and 1-9 ATS on the season. The Tigers are also 5-1 S/U and 1-4 ATS at home. They are coming off a loss at Tulsa, 57-58 as a 2-point favorite. Memphis laying 3 1/2 here tonight and considering how poorly they have covered this year, I'll be taking the better team plus the points. Play Wichita State. |
01-20-21 | Auburn +6 v. Arkansas | 73-75 | Win | 100 | 13 h 31 m | Show
The Auburn Tigers are 8-6 S/U and 6-7-1 ATS on their season. They are also 1-3 both S/U and ATS on the road. That road win coming on Jan 13 at Georgia, an easy 95-77 blowout win as a 1.5-point favorite. They also won their last game at home over Kentucky, 66-59 as a 3-point favorite. Arkansas Razorbacks are 10-4 S/U and 8-5 ATS. The hogs are 9- 1 S/U and 6-3 ATS at home this season. They have been in a losing streak of late, dropping two in a row and four of the last five. Most of their wins this season have come out of conference and since coming into conference play they are just 2-4 S/U and 3-3 ATS. The road team has covered nine of the last 13 in this series. I like getting points here with Auburn against an Arkansas team that has struggled in conference play. Take Auburn. |
01-20-21 | Clemson -1.5 v. Georgia Tech | Top | 65-83 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 59 m | Show |
Clemson Tigers are 9-2 S/U and 7-4 ATS this season. They are 1-1 S/U and 0-2 ATS on the road. The Tigers are coming off a home loss to Virginia 50-85 as a 2-point dog. That loss snapped a four game winning streak. The Tigers are also 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a win percentage of 60% or more. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are 6-3 S/U and 4-5 ATS on their season. The Jackets are 4-2 S/U and 2-4 ATS at home. Clemson set as a small road favorite here tonight. I like the road team in this matchup. Play Clemson. |
01-19-21 | Seton Hall +9 v. Villanova | 74-76 | Win | 100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
Seton Hall plays its third road game in a row here on Tuesday at Villanova. The Pirates are 9-5 S/U and 7-7 ATS on the season. They are 4-3 S/U and 5-2 ATS on the road. Seton Hall has been good to bettors, with a 7-3 ATS their last 10 games and 47-21 ATS their last 68 games in the roll of an underdog. They are also 35-16 as a road dog their last 51 games. Villanova Wildcats are 8-1 S/U and 6-3 ATS on the season. The Cats have not been a good for bettors at home, going 1-7 ATS in their last eight tries. The dog has covered the last four in this series and that's what I look for again here today. Play Seton Hall. |
01-19-21 | Winthrop -16 v. Presbyterian | 72-58 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 7 m | Show
Winthrop Eagles come into today's contest a perfect 13-0 S/U and 8-5-0 ATS. The Eagles are 5-0 S/U and 4-1 ATS on the road. This team has looked pretty impressive thus far in the season as the prepare to extend their record to 14-0 today at Presbyterian. Presbyterian Blue Hose likely won't be much of a challenge to Winthrop. The Blue Hose are just 3-5 S/U and 2-5 ATS on the season. They have lost two straight to Campbell, 46-48 and 51-73. Winthrop laying a bunch of points here on the road today but I believe they are up to covering this number. Play Winthrop. |
01-17-21 | Tarleton St v. Weber State -12 | 79-94 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show
Welcome to Division 1 basketball Tarleton State! The Texans have not fared so well as they enter the top tier of college hoops, with a 2-6 S/U and 1-3 ATS record. Those two wins coming against non-div 1 teams Arlington Baptist and Dallas Christian. What's even more concerning for me is that Tarleton is playing its third game in as many nights here against Weber State. The Texans played on the 15th at Cal Baptist and lost 74-83 and then lost the next night against the same opponent, 67-73, not covering either game. Now they play their third game in three nights, something you don't usually see unless it's a tournament. Weber State is 5-3 S/U and 4-1 ATS. They have won two straight games after losing two in a row. While Weber isn't any powerhouse team, they catch a weary Tarleton club that should be spent here tonight. Play Weber State in this non-conference contest. |
01-15-21 | Wisconsin v. Rutgers +3 | 60-54 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 26 m | Show
Big 10 action here tonight has Wisconsin playing at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Wisconsin is 10-3 S/U and 6-6-1 ATS on the season. The Badgers have split their last four games, winning two and losing two. They are just 1-2 S/U and ATS on the road this season. Rutgers is 7-4 S/U and 4-6-1 ATS on the season. The Knights have lost three straight games to Iowa, Michigan State and last time out to Ohio State, 68-79 - all cover losses too. The Knights have been better at home, going 6-2 S/U and 3-4-1 ATS. The Knights have played well at home when the dog, going 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games. The home team has also covered seven of the last eight in this series. I'll take the home dog here tonight. Play Rutgers. |
01-15-21 | Old Dominion v. Rice +3.5 | Top | 59-69 | Win | 100 | 2 h 25 m | Show |
The Old Dominion Monarchs are 7-3 S/U and 3-5-0 ATS on the season. They have won three straight games and are 2-1 ATS during that streak. Still, they are not a good covering team with just two of their last four spread games being wins. ODU a road favorite here today, something they have not historically been good at. They are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 as a road chalk. They are also 4-11 ATS in their last 15 overall games. The Rice Owls are 9-3 S/U and 6-4 ATS on the season. They are 4-1 both S/U and ATS in their last five games and 5-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS at home. The Owls are 11-5-1 in their last 17 games vs a team with a win percentage over 60%. The dog in this series is 4-0 ATS the last four meetings and that's who I'm taking here today. Play Rice. |
01-14-21 | San Diego State +1.5 v. Utah State | Top | 45-57 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 49 m | Show |
San Diego State Aztecs are 9-2 S/U and 5-5 ATS after 11 games. They are coming off a sweep of Nevada at home, 69-67 and 65-60, failing to cover both wins. They are now 7-2 S/U and 3-5 ATS at home. This team is very good defensively, as usual. They have allowed 70 points or more just two times this year; first in a loss at Colorado State, 67-70 and at home in a loss to BYU, 62-72. Not surprisingly, their two losses have come in those games. The Utah State Aggies are 9-3 S/U and 8-3 ATS on the season. The Aggies just swept New Mexico in a 2-game series, outscoring them 159-91 in the process. This Aggies team can score and that will be put to the test here tonight. This looks to be a defensive game and the best opponent Utah State has faced thus far. I'll take the visitor in this one. Take San Diego State. |
01-13-21 | Louisville v. Wake Forest +8 | Top | 77-65 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 18 m | Show |
The Louisville Cardinals are 8-1 S/U and 4-4-1 ATS on the season. The Cardinals lone loss this year coming at the hands of Wisconsin, 48-85 as a 10.5-point dog. They are coming off a win at home over Virginia Tech, 73-71, but failed to cover the 3.5-point line. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are 3-3 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the season. The Deacons have lost three straight games, but covered two of those. They are coming off a loss at Duke, 68-79 as a 14.5-point dog. Wake is 3-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS at home this season. Louisville is only 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games while Wake is 7-3 ATS at home in their last 10 games. Wake getting around 8-points at home here tonight. I look for the home team to put up a good fight. Play Wake Forest. |
01-13-21 | Tulsa +4 v. Wichita State | 53-72 | Loss | -108 | 7 h 48 m | Show
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane are 7-3 S/U and 6-3 ATS on the season. They started the season 1-3 and have since won six straight games. They are coming off big wins over Memphis, 56-49 (9.5 point dog), Houston 65-64 (9.5-point dog) and Cincinnati, 70-66 (5.5 point dog). This team has beat some impressive clubs as dogs. Wichita State is also 7-3 S/U and 5-2-1 ATS. The Shockers lost to Houston two games ago, 63-70, but are coming off a win over Cincinnati, 82-76. Hard to turn my back on what Tulsa has done to some very good teams. I look to them to shock Wichita here tonight. Play Tulsa. |
01-13-21 | Furman v. The Citadel +14 | 94-88 | Win | 100 | 3 h 47 m | Show
The Citadel Bulldogs are a perfect 8-0 on the season as they take on the 8-3 Furman Paladins here today. These teams had their last meeting postponed due to Covid. Citadel has been a scoring machine this year, averaging 92.8 ppg and shooting 48.7% from the field. They have held their opponents to just 69.8 ppg and 39.1% shooting. A bit surprised that Furman is a double digit road favorite here today. Yes, Citadel got lots of early wins against non D-1 teams. However, they did beat a very good Chattanooga team. The home team is 5-2 ATS the last seven meetings. Way too many points for Furman to lay here today. Play Citadel. |
01-12-21 | Duke v. Virginia Tech +1 | 67-74 | Win | 100 | 6 h 15 m | Show
The Duke Blue Devils are 5-2 S/U and 1-6 ATS to start the season. Duke's only cover this season in six tries has come against Notre Dame back on December 16. Duke has only played one true road game and that was the one at Notre Dame. Virginia Tech Hokies are having a nice season at 9-2 S/U and 7-3 ATS on the season. They have covered five of their last six games and are 7-1 S/U and 4-3 ATS at home this season. The home team has covered seven of the last nine in this series. I like the home team here today to win the game. Play Virginia Tech. |
01-11-21 | Temple +12 v. SMU | 68-79 | Win | 100 | 1 h 9 m | Show
Temple has only three games thus far this season at 1-2 S/U and ATS. The Owls opened with a win and have lost two straight to SMU and Houston. The Owls playing in this back-to-back spot against SMU. The Mustangs beat Temple, shooting over 51% from the field and 40% from the 3-point stripe. Despite these high numbers they won by just 8-points, just covering the 7.5 point spread. While the Owls will be playing SMU two straight games, the Mustangs have had two games between. SMU is 6-2 S/U and 5-3 ATS on the season. The Mustangs have lost two straight since beating Temple back on Dec 30th. They lost at home to both Houston and Cincinnati. SMU now laying 12-points here to Temple. That's almost 5-points more then the last meeting. Considering SMU shot so well in that last meeting yet barely covered the 7.5 point spread, I'll take the bigger number here today. Play Temple. |
01-08-21 | Northern Kentucky v. Cleveland State -1.5 | Top | 44-58 | Win | 100 | 6 h 41 m | Show |
Northern Kentucky Norse are 5-4 S/U and 3-4-1 ATS on the season. The Norse have won two straight games, both against IUPU-Fort Worth by scores of 70-68 and 75-68. They hit the road here today where they are 0-3 S/U and 1-1 ATS on the season. Cleveland State Vikings are 6-3 S/U and 6-1-1 ATS on the season. The Vikings have won six in a row after starting the season 0-3. They have also covered their last six games. At home they are 2-0 both S/U and ATS. Cleveland State also sits atop the Horizon conference standings with a 6-0 conference record, while Northern Kentuky is 4th at 3-1. I like the home team here today. Play Cleveland State. |
01-07-21 | Cincinnati v. SMU -5 | 76-69 | Loss | -114 | 7 h 44 m | Show
The Cincinnati Bearcats are not having the kind of season they are used to having at just 2-6 S/U and 1-7 ATS. The Bearcats have lost five games both S/U and ATS. They are coming off a loss to Tulsa, 66-70 as a 5.5-point home favorite. The SMU Mustangs are 6-1 S/U and 5-2 ATS on the season. They are coming off their first loss of the season, a 60-74 setback to Houston as a 2-point home dog. The Mustangs look to be the much better team so far this season. They return home here today and will look to bounce back after that loss to Houston. Play SMU. |
01-06-21 | St. John's v. Xavier -6.5 | Top | 61-69 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show |
The St Johns Red Storm are 6-4 S/U and 4-6 ATS thus far on the season. The broke a three game losing streak with a win at home over Georgetown, 94-83. They were also riding a four game spread losing streak that was broken. St Johns hasn't been a good road team, evidenced by their 6-13-1 ATS road record in their last 20 games. The Xavier Musketeers are 8-2 S/U and 5-4 ATS on the season. They look to break a two-game losing streak here tonight after loss at home to Seton Hall and at Creighton. Still, the Musketeers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games. The favorite is 4-1-1 ATS the last six meetings. For me, I'm taking the favorite Xavier side here. Play Xavier. |
01-04-21 | Wyoming v. Fresno State -2.5 | Top | 61-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 42 m | Show |
The Wyoming Cowboys are 7-1 S/U and 4-4 ATS to start the season. In this Covid era, teams are playing back-to-back against their conference opponents and that's what we have here tonight. The Cowboys just played at Fresno on Saturday and won, 78-74. They shot over 40% from the 3-point stripe. The win was the team's 6th in a row. The Fresno State Bulldogs are just 2-3 S/U on the season and 0-3 ATS. The Bulldogs lost both games to Colorado State by a 156-112 margin. So here we are again tonight, looking for the Dogs to lost their fourth straight to just two opponents. They played much better against the Cowboys though, just losing as a 2-point favorite. Tonight they are 3-point favorites. That's because the Cowboys not exactly as good as CSU is this year. I look for Fresno to win this game tonight as I don't see them losing to an equal opponent for the 2nd straight time on their home court. Play Fresno. |
01-04-21 | Monmouth +3 v. Siena | 62-76 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 42 m | Show
The Monmouth Hawks are 3-3 S/U and 4-1-1 ATS to start the season. Monmouth had their two-game win streak snapped last game with a loss at Siena, 77-78, though they did cover the 2.5 point dog line. Now, because of Covid protocols, they are facing Siena in the 2nd of a back-to-back spot. Believe it or not, the Siena Saints just played their first game of the season, a 78-77 win over Monmouth. Some teams have 10 or more games play, but not Siena, playing just their second of the season. For me, Monmouth has much more time in-game then Siena does. It showed in game one and I think we'll see another close game, if not an outright Monmouth win here tonight. Play Monmouth. |
01-03-21 | Ohio State v. Minnesota +1 | 60-77 | Win | 100 | 7 h 6 m | Show
Ohio State is 8-2 S/U and 4-4-1 ATS on the season. The Big 10 is loaded with talented teams so just about every game is a tough one for these teams. Ohio State lost at Northwestern, 70-71 and then rebounded with a win last game over Nebraska, 90-54. The Buckeyes are 2-1 thus far in the Big 10. The Sooners have yet to cover on the road, goign 1-2 S/U and 0-2-1 ATS. Minnesota another of those scrappy Big 10 teams at 9-2 S/U and 7-4 ATS. The Gophers are coming off a loss at Wisconsin, 59-71. That snapped a three game win streak that included wins over Michigan State and Iowa. The Gophers are a perfect 9-0 S/U at home and 7-2 vs the number. Minnesota getting 1-point at home here today, but I like them to win going away in this one. Play Minnesota. |
12-31-20 | San Diego v. San Francisco -12.5 | 62-70 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 12 m | Show
San Diego Toreros are 1-3 S/U and 1-2 ATS in their four games thus far. They have not been on the court since December 19th, so this long layoff could be bad for them here today. THey are coming off a loss at UC Irvine, 53-85. Their long win coming at Cal Poly SLO, 70-61. Conversely, the San Francisco Dons already have 10 games under their belt. The Dons are 6-4 S/U and 4-5 ATS. They are coming off a win over Grand Canyon, 68-85. The Dons haven't shied away from strong competition, with games against Oregon, Cal, Nevada, Rhode Island and Virginia. That last game against Virginia they pulled a huge upset win with a 61-60 victory as a 15-point dog. This San Fran team is way bettor then their counterparts from the South. I'll lay the points here today with the Dons. Play San Francisco. |

12-30-20 | SE Missouri State v. Tennessee Tech | Top | 63-72 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 22 m | Show |
SE Missouri State Indians not off to a good start at just 2-5 S/U, but they are 5-2 ATS. They have lost four straight games S/U but are 3-1 in their last four and 4-1 ATS in their last five games. The Indians have also been dogs in every game but one. That one game happens to be their only loss to the spread in the last five games. Tennessee Tech looking for its first win of the season against nine losses. In addition, the Golden Eagles are just 3-6 ATS on the season. This team has been within six point just once in their last four games. In fact, they have been blown out in most of their games. Mo State laying one just means we need to win here today. I look for them to send Tenn Tech to 0-10 after today's game. Play SE Missouri State. |
12-30-20 | Mississippi State +2 v. Georgia | 83-73 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
Mississippi State Bulldogs are 5-3 S/U and 4-4 ATS on the season. The Bulldogs are looking for their first road win of the season after suffering three losses. They have won two in a row over Mississippi State and Central Arkansas. Georgia is a perfect 7-0 S/U and 4-2 ATS on the season. The Bulldogs haven't really played anyone except for Cincinnati and they are having a down season. So tonight is their first real test of the season in this SEC contest. Georgia opened 3 1/2 and has dropped to 2-points. I actually agree with the move here today as I think that Miss State will give Georgia their first real game here tonight. Play Mississippi State. |
12-29-20 | Ole Miss v. Alabama -1.5 | 64-82 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show
Ole Miss Rebels take their 5-1 S/U record to Alabama tonight to play the Tide. The Rebels are also 4-2 ATS on the season. Ole Miss coming off a win over Tennessee-Martin, 90-43. Their only loss was two games ago at Dayton, 62-65. They are 1-1 both S/U and ATS on the road this season. Alabama is 5-3 S/U and 3-5 ATS on the season. The Crimson Tide had very high hopes starting the season, but those have not been met just yet. The Tide are 3-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS at home this season. Tonight we get the Tide laying just 2-points or right about that number. For me, that's good enough with a team that is underperforming this year. Play Alabama. |
12-29-20 | Purdue v. Rutgers -3 | Top | 76-81 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Purdue hits the road here for their second straight away game, tonight at Rutgers. The Boilermakers are 7-3 S/U and 3-6-1 ATS thus far on the season. They have yet to win on the road, going 0-2 both S/U and ATS. Their margin of loss on the road has also been -9.5 points. Rutgers has been a nice surprise this year, posting a 6-1 S/U and 3-3-1 ATS mark on the season. They are also 5-0 S/U at home and 2-2-1 vs the number. They had a nice win over highly ranked Illinois, 91-88 as a 4.5 point dog. They also have quality wins over Maryland and Syracuse. Their only loss coming in their last game at Ohio Sate, 68-80. I like the Scarlet Knights here at home, especially against a Purdue team that has struggled on the road. Play Rutgers. |
12-28-20 | Missouri State +4 v. Northern Iowa | 75-85 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 53 m | Show
In this Covid year, the NCAA has teams that normally would play two times a year spread out, now they must play back-to-back. That's what we have here today as Missouri State once again plays at Northern Iowa after easily beating NIU yesterday, 79-59. The Bears shot 51% from the field and 44% from 3-point stripe while holding NIU to just 33% from the field and 20% from 3-point land. The Bears are now 4-0 on the season S/U and 3-0 AST. NIU Panthers are just 1-5 S/U and 0-5 ATS so far this season. Their lone win coming vs St Ambrose, 99-53. Against division one foes, they are yet to win a game. I don't see that happening again here today either. Yet somehow a 1-5 team is laying points to a 4-0 club? Not sure how the oddsmaker is figuring this one, but I'll take the points and look for another straight up win with the Bears. |
12-28-20 | Drake -4 v. Indiana State | Top | 73-66 | Win | 100 | 6 h 53 m | Show |
One of the two earlier games going here on Monday has Drake, playing once again at Indiana State. In this Covid year the NCAA has teams that normally would play two times a year spread out, now they must play back-to-back. Yesterday, Drake beat Indiana State handily, 81-63. It was close at the half, but the Bulldogs pulled away in the 2nd half for the win. They are now a perfect 10-0 S/U and 7-0 ATS on the season. This team has been very good and they get another shot here today at the Sycamores. Indiana State is just 3-3 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the season. Their two game win streak snapped by Drake here on Sunday. What's the saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it? Well, Drake should have little trouble against here today keeping their perfect record in tact. Play Drake. |
12-23-20 | Villanova v. Marquette +5 | 85-68 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 15 m | Show
Another great matchup here on Wednesday has 7-1 Villanova traveling to Marquette tonight. The Villanova Wildcats are 7-1 S/U and 5-3 ATS on the season. Their lone loss coming back on Nov 28 at home to Virginia Tech, 73-81. They are coming off a win over St Joe's, 88-68 as a 21-point favorite. Marquette Golden Eagles are 5-4 S/U and 4-5 ATS. The Eagles having a down season thus far by their standards. They have lost two straight games and three of four. But they return home where they are 4-2 S/U on the season. Getting points at home here with Marquette and I won't be surprised with straight-up win. Play Marquette. |
12-22-20 | West Virginia +2.5 v. Kansas | 65-79 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 28 m | Show
Two top 10 teams matchup here tonight as Kansas hosts West Virginia. No 7 West Virginia is 7-1 S/U and 4-3 ATS on the season. The Mountaineers only loss has come against top ranked Gonzaga, 82-87, though they did cover the 8.5-point spread. Kansas is also 7-1 S/U and 3-4 ATS with their lone loss also coming in their opener to Gonzaga, 90-102. WVU has four players averaging double digits this season led by Mile McBride's 15-points per game. This looks to be the best game of the night, but for me I think West Virginia is the better team and will prove it here this evening. Play West Virginia. |
12-21-20 | Murray State -3 v. Austin Peay | Top | 70-74 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
Murray State Racers come into tonight's contest with a 4-2 S/U and 1-2-1 ATS mark. The Racers are coming off a blood thirsty blowout win over Transylvania, 90-49. Their two losses have come at the hands of Southern Illinois, 66-70, and Mid Tenn State, 61-78. You can't count their win over Greenville where they scored 173 points. I think that is a no go there. Austin Peay Governors are 4-3 S/U and 0-4 ATS. The Governors have losses to Florida A&M, Murray State and Abilene Christian. They lost to this Racers team back on Dec 8th, 57-87, at Murray State. Murray hit 59.6% from the field and 40% from 3-point line. Don't think we'll see the same results here today, but I still like Murray State. |
12-21-20 | Wofford +6.5 v. Texas A&M | 52-70 | Loss | -101 | 3 h 33 m | Show
Wofford Terriers are 3-2 S/U and 2-1 ATS to start their season. The Terriers opened with a pair of softball games against Brewton-Parker and Carver Bible. Both easy blowout winners. How to toss those games out. Their last three are what we will look at. They lost to Richmond, 72-77 as a 12.5-point dog then lost to South Florida, 56-58 a 1.5-point dog and then beat Coastal Carolina, 88-77 as a 6-point favorite. The could easily be 3-0 vs the spread except for that half point loss. Texas A&M Aggies are 4-1 S/U and 1-4 ATS thus far. They also have some softball games against Tarleton State and UT Rio Grande Valley. They easily beat New Orleans, 82-53 then got beat badly by TCU, 55-73, before winning their last game vs SE Louisiana, 69-52. This A&M team is a middle of the road team in the conference. Laying 6.5-points here isn't something I want to do with a team that has just one cover as a favorite in four tries. I'll take the points with Wofford here on Monday. |
12-20-20 | Weber State -4 v. Portland State | 72-74 | Loss | -118 | 4 h 10 m | Show
Weber State Wildcats are 3-1 S/U and 2-0 ATS to start their season. They have a couple of quality wins under their belt, including a 94-66 blowout of Portland State just here on Friday. This year in the COVID world we are seeing these back-to-back games like this. So here they are again, now playing Portland State again here on Sunday. They hit 48.4% from the field in the first game and a whopping 52.6% from beyond the 3-point arc. Portland State Vikings are just 1-3 S/U and 0-2-1 ATS. Their only win coming against Northwest College by 40-points with no line on that contest. If you throw out that game, the Vikings have not hit better than 38% from the field and 24% from 3-point land. Weber a mid size road chalk here today, but I expect them to win this second game against the Vikings also. Play Weber State. |
12-18-20 | Drake -6.5 v. South Dakota | 75-57 | Win | 100 | 6 h 44 m | Show
Game of the Week: Drake Bulldogs bring their perfect 6-0 S/U and 3-0 ATS mark into tonight's game at South Dakota. The Bulldogs have had only one road game thus far, a 80-70 win at Kansas State in their opener. South Dakota Coyotes are 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS thus far on the season. The Coyotes got their first win of the season last time out at home over South Dakota State, 91-78 as a 10.5 point dog. The Coyotes have played their last three games against South Dakota State, North Dakota State and North Dakota, going 1-2 S/U and ATS. Now they step up in competition against an undefeated Drake Bulldog team. I look for Drake to control this contest and come away with their 7th win. Take Drake. |
12-18-20 | SIU-Edwardsville v. Morehead State -5.5 | 69-65 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 44 m | Show
Southern Illinois Cougars are 2-4 S/U and 3-2 ATS to start their season. The Cougars are coming off a blowout loss at Valparaiso, 58-80 as 11-point dogs. The Cougars are 1-2 both S/U and ATS on the road this year. Their only win coming at Northern Illinois, 75-53 as a 9-point dog. The Morehead State Eagles are 4-4 S/U and 4-2 ATS so far this year. They are perfect at home with a 4-0 S/U and 2-0 ATS record. They are coming off a 75-62 home win over Eastern Kentucky as a 5.5 point dog. SIU not a good road team and tonight they have to play at a undefeated home club. I'll lay the points here this evening with Morehead State. |
12-17-20 | Long Island -5 v. Sacred Heart | Top | 72-87 | Loss | -103 | 6 h 53 m | Show |
LIU Brooklyn Sharks have just one game played thus far and that was a 75-55 win over this Sacred Heart team as a 3.5 point favorite. The Sharks return four starters to a team that was 15-18 overall last year and 9-9 in the Northeast Conference. This team was favored to win the conference last year, but many injuries derailed that goal. This team loves to run, evidenced by their 23rd fast tempo in college last season. If HC Kellogg can keep this team healthy with four starters back, they may just reach that goal of conference champs this year. The Covid season has seen schedules change, and one thing are these back-to-back games we are seeing. With these teams having just met, they meet again here tonight. Sacred Heart is 0-2 S/U and 1-1 ATS on the season. They opened with a loss at Rutgers, 63-86, but covered the 27-point dog line. Then they lost to this Brooklyn team by 20 points at Long Island. I don't see a change here tonight though the venue is different. Another Brooklyn win and cover. Take LIU Brooklyn. |
12-16-20 | North Carolina-Asheville v. Chattanooga -5.5 | Top | 66-69 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 32 m | Show |
UNC Asheville Bulldogs are 3-2 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the season. The Bulldogs have back-to-back wins over High Point. They also have their third win over South Carolina State, 77-56, as a 15-point favorite. The two losses coming against Western Carolina, 81-83, and UNC Wilmington, 68-76. Chattanooga Mocs are a perfect 5-0 on the season. They are 2-0 ATS in their only two board games. That includes a win over Mid Tenn State, 80-70 and at Tennessee Tech, 62-54. Chattanooga the much better talented team here today. Asheville also will possibly be without guard Devon Baker here today who is questionable. Baker averaged 16.5 points over his last 31 games. I'll gladly lay the points at home with Chattanooga here today. |
12-16-20 | Pittsburgh -2.5 v. Miami-FL | 70-55 | Win | 100 | 7 h 33 m | Show
The Pitt Panthers are 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS so far this season. The Panthers have yet to play a top tier team with their best win coming as a 2.5-point dog at Northwestern, 71-70. Pitt coming off a down season last year at just 16-17 overall and 6-14 in the ACC where they finished 14th. Pitt has some young talent to help this year and while this team is still a work in progress, they are headed in the right direction. Miami Florida is 3-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS on the season. The Hurricanes have been at least 19-point favorites in three of their games. One of those they lost, a 62-66 home setback to Florida Gulf Coast as a 19-point chalk. They did beat a decent Purdue team at home, 58-54 as a 3-point dog. For me, this about two programs that are both looking to rebuild. Miami was 10th in the ACC last year with a 7-13 record. I believe Pitt has progressed a bit better than Miami has. I'll take the Panthers here today. Play Pittsburgh. |
12-15-20 | Georgia Tech +8 v. Florida State | Top | 61-74 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 27 m | Show |
Georgia Tech comes into tonight's contest at 2-2 S/U and ATS. After starting the season 0-2, the Yellow Jackets have responded with a pair of wins over Kentucky and Nebraska. Florida State is 3-0 S/U and 2-1 ATS on the season. The Seminoles returned three starters to their team that was 26-5 overall last year and 1st in the ACC with a 16-4 record. FSU is not expected to contend for the ACC crown this year. They blend a mix of newcomers and veterans. Florida State laying around 8-points here tonight looks to be a bit too much for me. Georgia tech playing much better and should give the Seminoles all they can handle here tonight. Play Georgia Tech. |
12-15-20 | Clemson +2 v. Virginia Tech | 60-66 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Clemson puts its perfect 5-0 record on the line tonight as they take on Virginia Tech. The Tigers are also 5-0 ATS with wins over Mississippi State, Purdue, Maryland and Alabama. The Tigers have shot under 44% in only one game and that was their opener against Mississippi State. The defense has been excellent, holding four of their five opponents to 56 points or fewer. VA Tech Hokies are 4-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS on the season. They are coming off a blowout loss to Penn State, 55-75 as a 5.5 point home favorite. They have beaten ranked Villanova though in game two of the season, 81-73. After shooting 47% or higher in each of their first three games, they have hit just 35 and 37 percent the last two games. I love the Clemson defense here today and that has been the biggest difference for them this year. I'll take the road team in this one. Play Clemson. |
12-14-20 | Eastern Kentucky v. Morehead State +6.5 | 62-75 | Win | 100 | 8 h 6 m | Show
Eastern Kentucky comes into tonight's contest with a 5-1 S/U and 4-1 spread record. Aside from Xavier, they really haven't had much on the schedule. Though they already played this Morehead team on their home court and that was a 71-68 win and their only non-cover for the Colonels this year. In that game, E Ky allowed Morehead to shoot 67% from the field and 46% from the 3-point stripe, yet somehow still won the game, though failed to cover the 10-point spread. Morehead State Eagles are 3-4 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the Season. They got beat bad by Kentucky in the opener, 45-81 and then lost to Richmond, 64-82. They also lost to Ohio State, 44-77. The Eagles havent' shied away from stiff competition thus far. However, today they are getting 3-points at home from Eastern Kentucky. They have some confidence against this team already and the points are just a bonus. Play Morehead State. |
12-11-20 | Marquette +4.5 v. UCLA | Top | 60-69 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
The Marquette Eagles are 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS to start the season as they head West to take on the UCLA Bruins. Marquette coming off a win over Wisconsin Green Bay, 82-68, but failed to cover the 20-point line. Marquette also has a huge win over Wisconsin, 67-65 as a 3.5-point dog. Their only loss coming at the hands of Oklahoma State, 62-70. UCLA also 4-1 S/U and ATS on the season. The Bruins are coming off a win over San Diego, 83-56 as 20-point favorites. The only loss was on opening night at San Diego State, 58-73 as they shot a season low 39% from the field. UCLA laying 4 1/2 point here tonight at home to Marquette. These teams looks pretty equal across the board and without fans in the stadium I'm going to take the points here tonight. Play Marquette. |
12-09-20 | SE Missouri State +8 v. Lipscomb | Top | 74-80 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show |
Se Missouri State Indians are 2-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS on the young season. The Indians are playing a back-to-back series with Lipscomb here today. These teams met at Missouri State on Monday with the Indians coming out on top 82-77 as a 4-point dog. In fact, Missouri State has scored over 71 points in all three games. The Lipscomb Bisons are 1-4 S/U and ATS so far in five games. The Bisons were favored at Tulane and lost 66-68 and also at Lamar and won 76-73 in their opener, but failed to cover the 8.5 points spread. Now here we find a 1-4 team laying 7.5-points at home to a decent Missouri State team. Not sure what the oddsmakers had in mind here, but a straight-up win by SE Missouri State isn't out of the question. Play the visitor here, play SE Missouri State. |
12-08-20 | Syracuse v. Rutgers -4 | 69-79 | Win | 100 | 8 h 56 m | Show
Syracuse Orange are now 3-0 S/U and 2-1 ATS to start the season. The Orange just did get by Bryant in their opener, 85-84 as a 22.5 point favorite. They rebounded with a win and cover over Niagara and then beat Rider, 87-52 last time out for the cover. Rutgers is also 3-0 S/U and 0-2-1 ATS. The Scarlet Knights beat Hofstra last time out, 70-56, pushing the 14-point chalk line. Syracuse returns four starters to a team that was 18-14 last year. Rutgers also returns four starters to their team that finished last year 20-11. HC Steve Pikiell has turned this program around and they improve each year of his four years with the program. This team was NCAA bound last year and that is fully expected again this season. I like the Scarlet Knights here tonight. Play Rutgers. |
12-08-20 | Boston College +7 v. Minnesota | 80-85 | Win | 100 | 5 h 26 m | Show
Boston College Eagles come into this evenings contest with a 1-3 S/U and 2-2 ATS recrod. They haven't skimped on tough games early on either. The Eagles lost to Villanova (covered the spread), beat Rhode Island and covered, lost to St Johns and failed the cover and last time out lost to Florida, 70-90 and failed to cover. BC was just 13-19 last year and returns three starters to that team for HC Jim Christian. The Eagles look to improve this year based on the returning talent from the bench and transfers. Minnesota Gophers had a lackluster season last year, finishing just 15-16 overall and 8-12 in Big Ten. They return just two of those starters this year. The Gophers look better on paper this year and its showed thus far with a 4-0 S/U record. However, unlike BC who has played top lever talent, the Gophers wins have come against Wisconsin Green Bay, Loyola Marymount (twice) and North Dakota. Only the latter where they not a favorite of 13 or more points. Today is a big test for Minnesota against not a great, but improving BC team. I like the teams BC has faced and they are prepared for Minnesota tonight. I'll take the points with the visitor. Play Boston College. |
12-06-20 | Xavier +2 v. Cincinnati | 77-69 | Win | 100 | 5 h 47 m | Show
Xavier is 5-0 S/U and 1-3 ATS to start the season. The competition hasn't been top level, with their toughest game being against Bradley in a 51-50 win. The Musketeers returned two starters to their team that was 19-13 last year. This Xavier team has always been a good defensive team, but this year they are trying to add more offensive power. Xavier was 4th in the conference in scoring defense last year. Cincinnati has just one game played and that was a win over Lipscomb, 67-55 as a 13.5 point favorite. The Bearcats returned three starters to their team that was 20-10 last year and tied for first in the American conference. Cincinnati should be good again this year though they are in a bit of a rebuild mode too. But with just one game under their belt here I'm going with Xavier today that has already played five games. Play Xavier. |
12-06-20 | Villanova +1 v. Texas | 68-64 | Win | 100 | 3 h 46 m | Show
Villanova is 3-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS after four games this season. The Wildcats one loss came to Virginia Tech, 73-81 as a 9-point favorite. The ranked Cats have lots of expectations with four starters returning to a team that was 24-7 overall and 13-5 in the Big East last season. This is a deep and talented team and should be competing for the Big East Title once again this year. They have three seniors that will lead the team this year. Texas is 4-0 S/U and 3-1 ATS to start the season. The Longhorns are coming off a win and cover over North Carolina, 69-67. They also beat Indiana, 66-44 and Davidson, 78-76. Texas has all five starter returning to a 19-12 team from last year. Though they were just 9-9 in the Big 12 and tied for 3rd. The knock on Texas has been the inability to win close games. They have already shaken that with close wins over Davidson and North Carolina. This team will be better and they have already showed that, but I'm taking Villanova here on Sunday. |
12-05-20 | Georgia Southern -3 v. USC Upstate | 72-69 | Push | 0 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Georgia Southern Eagles are off to a nice 2-0 S/U start, though no spreads on either game. They beat Florida National in their opener, 97-65 and then Coastal Georgia, 91-79 in their second game. USC Upstate is 0-3 S/U and 0-2 ATS thus far. Unlike GA Southern, they have played some mainstream teams, losing to Furman 63-91 and then losing to Eastern Kentucky 8-95. But what's most disconcerting is their loss to Southern Wesleyan, 72-82. This team can't play any defense and that bothers me here today. I'm taking Georgia Southern minus the few points in what should be another scorefest. Play Georgia Southern. |
12-05-20 | Fairleigh Dickinson v. Providence -18.5 | 67-79 | Loss | -125 | 5 h 57 m | Show
Fairleigh Dickinson Knights might be in for a bad afternoon if their previous three games are any indication. The Knights are 0-3 S/U and 1-2 ATS thus far, losing to Quinnipiac 66-84, Rutgers 75-96 and Hofstra 58-73. Their only cover coming at Rutgers as a 25-point dog. Providence is 2-2 S/U and 0-3 ATS. They have played some stiff competition in Davidson, Alabama, Indiana and Fairfield. They beat Fairfield 97-56 and also beat Davidson 63-62. I don't think 18-20 points is enough to give the Knights here. Providence rolls in this game. Play Providence. |
12-04-20 | Oregon v. Seton Hall +3.5 | Top | 83-70 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
Oregon has only one game played and that was a loss to Missouri, 75-83 as a 3-point favorite. The Ducks have just two starters back to their PAC-12 conference winning team from last year that finished 24-7 overall and 13-5 in the conference. Despite just two returns to the starting lineup, this will be a team with lots of combined experience and should be loaded once again. The fine tuning to get the right combinations will come early and thus their loss to Missouri. That might just happen again here tonight as they continue to find the winning adjustments. Seton Hall is 1-2 S/U and 2-1 ATS thus far. The Pirates covered their first two games against Iona and Louisville. They lost last time out and failed to cover the spread against Rhode Island, 63-76. Seton Hall has two starters back to a 21-9 team from last year. They tied for 1st in the Big East with a 13-5 record, first time doing this since 1993. Seton Hall has posted 20-win seasons the last five years. Seton Hall might not have the senior talent it had last year, but they have the pieces to be very good and get those 20 wins again this season. Tonight, I'm taking Seton Hall as Oregon still finding it's right combinations. Play Seton Hall. |
12-04-20 | South Dakota State +1 v. Bradley | 88-84 | Win | 100 | 7 h 19 m | Show
The South Dakota State Jackrabbits are 2-2 S/U and 3-1 ATS entering play here tonight. SD State is coming off a nice win over Iowa State, 71-68 as a 1.5-point dog. They returned all five of their starters from a team that went 22-10 last year and tied for 1st in the Summit league with a 13-5 record. They are favorites to win the league this year and they have the talent and experience to make the NCAA and do well. Bradley is 3-1 S/U and 1-1 ATS on the season. They have played two weak teams in Judson College and Oakland with wins in both. However, they failed to cover the 15.5 point favorite spread against Oakland. They lost to Xavier in a close game, 50-51 and beat Toledo, 61-59. The Braves only returned two starters to a team that was 23-11 last year and third in the Missouri Valley conference. They won't likely content for the conference crown this year with UNI and Loyola packing all the power. This will be a tough game for them today against this talented SD State team. I'll take State and lay the 1 point or so. Play South Dakota State. |
12-04-20 | North Texas +3.5 v. Mississippi State | 63-69 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 18 m | Show
North Texas Mean Green is 1-1 S/U and ATS in their two games this season. They opened with a win over Mississippi Valley State, 116-62 and then lost to Arkansas, 54-69 as a 8-point dog. North Texas has three starters returning to a team that was 20-11 overall last year and 14-4 and tied for 1st in the Conference USA. They have four of six top scorers returning this year. They will have to work on turnovers that had them ranked 284th nationally last year. But this is a talented group of players who should do well this year. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are 1-2 S/U and ATS this year. They got their first win and cover last time out with a win over Texas State, 68-51. They had previous losses to Liberty and Clemson. North Texas getting some points here tonight is too much for me to pass on. Take North Texas. |
12-04-20 | Wisconsin v. Marquette +4.5 | 65-67 | Win | 100 | 6 h 18 m | Show
Wisconsin Badgers enter tonight 3-0 S/U and 1-2 ATS on the young season. The Badgers are coming off a blowout win against Wisconsin Green Bay, 82-42. It was their first cover in three contests. Wisconsin will be one of the favorites to win the Big 10 again this year after being tied for 1st last season with a 14-6 conference record and 21-10 overall mark. They return four starters to this team this season. This team has Final Four aspirations with six seniors and lots of experience returning. Today will be their toughest matchup against Marquette. The Golden Eagles are 2-1 S/U and ATS so far. Their lone loss coming last game against Oklahoma State, 62-70. Marquette has two starters returning to a team that was 18-12 last year and 6th in the Big East. This team is in a bit of a rebuilding mode this year. They will once again be great on the boards, but they need to find that long shooting threat. Today, Marquette gets points at home and that's worth a shot for me. I'll take the points with Marquette. |
12-04-20 | Georgia State v. Charlotte +3.5 | 76-65 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 18 m | Show
Georgia State Panthers are 2-1 S/U and 1-1 ATS entering tonight's play. The Panthers are coming off their first loss against Mercer, 69-86. They did beat non div 1 Toccoa Falls and also beat Georgia Tech. GA State has four starters back to a team that was 19-13 overall last year and 4th in the Sun Belt. HC Rob Lanier took over the team last year and had big shoes to fill as the team won the previous two Sun Belt titles. Back court will be their strength as they return all back court players from last year. It's the frontcourt that needs to step up this year and if that happens they should be good. Charlotte has just one game this season, a loss to East Carolina, 57-66. Charlotte has two starters returning to a team that was 16-13 last year. The 49ers did double their win total last season under Ron Sanchez's second year with the club. The backcourt will be the strength of the team, but they will have to improve their offense if they hope to compete in the Conf USA. The team has plenty of talent coming in and that should help. Sanchez seems to be heading this team in the right direction. Taking points at home here with Charlotte looks like the play for me tonight. Play Charlotte. |
12-03-20 | Florida v. Boston College +6 | 90-70 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 15 m | Show
Florida playing just its second game of the young season after beating Army in their opener yesterday, 76-69. They failed to cover the 23.5 point line. Florida returns three starters to a team that was 19-12 last year and 11-7 in the SEC (4th). HC Mike WHite looked ready to head the Gators to their fourth straight NCAA showing last year before the season was cancelled. The team returns a lot of experience and should have a deep bench this year. Boston College is 1-2 S/U and 2-1 on the season after losing to St Johns last time out, 93-97 as a 2-point favorite. Their lone win coming against a good Rhode Island team, 69-64. The Eagles have played good competition thus far so we know they can play with them as they were in all three games. However, not sure about Florida as they under-performed vs Army in their lone game. I'm taking Boston College today. |
12-02-20 | Drexel -5 v. Quinnipiac | 66-48 | Win | 100 | 5 h 25 m | Show
Drexel has just one game thus far, that being a loss to Pittsburgh, 74-83 though they did cover the 10-points spread. The Panthers return three players to a team that was 16-17 last year and 14th in the ACC. This Pitt team has made steady progress under HC Capel. They have experience returning to build around this year as they fill in with younger talent. This could be the season for Pitt to finally content in the conference. Quinnipiac Bobcats were 15-15 last year and 5th in the Metro Atlantic. The Cats have no superstars on the team this year so they will have to rely more on contributors. They are considered a favorite in thee conference and opened with a win over Farleigh Dickinson, 84-66. Today is a big test for the Bobcats. This tourney game will be a tough one for them. I will take the favorite here today and that's Drexel. |
12-02-20 | Hartford +4 v. Fairfield | 66-61 | Win | 100 | 5 h 54 m | Show
Hartford finished 2019 with a 18-15 overall mark and 9-7 America East record (3rd). The Hawks won the American East Semifinals last season. At the time of the NCAA suspension of season, the Hawks were playing their best basketball. The program now has three winning seasons in a row and look to be on the right track. They just need to develop their young players. Fairfield returns three starters to a team that was 12-20 last year and 8th in the Metro Atlantic. The Stags will have to be more reliable on the offense if they hope to compete in the conference. The defense was very good, allowing just 62.9 points per game last season. But should they be laying points? I don't believe so. I'll take Hartford. |
12-02-20 | Providence +2.5 v. Alabama | Top | 71-88 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 54 m | Show |
Providence has opened the season with a 2-1 record S/U and 0-2 record vs the spread. The Friars are coming off a win over Davidson, 63-62 as a 1.5 point favorite. They led the entire game over Davidson and only failed to cover the spread in the last minute. A lot was expected out of Alabama this year and thus far it's been mixed results. They opened with a win over Jackonsville, 81-57 and then got whipped by Stanford, 64-82. The rebounded last night with a win over UNLV, 86-74, pushing the 12-point line. However, they trailed the entire first half and only came on the second half. I'm not as impressed with this Alabama team as I expected to be. I'm going to take Providence here today. |
12-02-20 | VCU +4.5 v. Penn State | 69-72 | Win | 100 | 3 h 54 m | Show
VCU is 2-1 both S/U and ATS so far this young season. The Rams were 8th in the Atlantic 10 last season and 18-13 overall. The returned just one starter this season. The beat Utah State to open the season, then lost to West Virginia and won their last game over Memphis, 70-59 as a 5.5 point dog. Penn State has just one game thus far and that was a win over VMI, 86-65. The Nittany Lions returned three starters to a team that was 21-10 last year and finished 5th in the Big 10. This team has gone through ups and downs the last few years but the biggest issue is in the frontcourt. HC Stevens need someone to step up this year and be a leader. It's early, but I'm going to take the points here with VCU. |
12-01-20 | Western Kentucky +4 v. Louisville | Top | 54-75 | Loss | -108 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
: Get some Kentucky action here this afternoon as Western Kentucky looks for some bragging rights and recruiting edges as they go up against instate rival Louisville. The Hilltoppers are 2-1 S/U and ATS thus far with a pair of nice wins over Northern Iowa (93-87) and over Memphis (75-69), covering both. They did lose last time out to West Virginia, 64-70 and just failed to cover the 5.5 point dog spread. Louisville is 3-0 S/U and 1-2 ATS thus far. The Cardinals beat Evansville, 79-44, then just got by Seton Hall, 71-70, before cruising to a win over Prairie View A&M, 86-64. Louisville returns four starters from last year's team that went 24-7 overall. The Cardinals always play tough non-conference schedules and that leaves spots to get some wins against them. That comes today as the Hilltoppers more motivated in this matchup then the Cards. Play Western Kentucky. |
11-30-20 | St. John's v. Boston College | 97-93 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 44 m | Show
St Johns Red Storm have opened the season 2-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS. They opened with a win over St Peters, 76-75, though they barely covered as a 11-point favorite. Then they rebounded with a nice win over Lasalle, 82-65. Boston College is 1-1 S/U and 2-0 ATS. The Eagles opened with a loss to top 10 Villanova, 67-76 and then beat a very good Rhode Island team, 69-64. St John's returned four starters to a team that was 17-15 last year and 5-13 in the Big East. Last year was a transition year and the record showed that. They still have a long way to go to be a factor in the Big East, but they have the building blocks to do so. BC returns three starters to a 13-19 team from last year. The Eagles lost in the 2nd round of the ACC tournament last season. Even though BC lost starters to graduation, they returned enough talent to actually make them better this year. That has showed as they played two very good teams and were in both games and in fact covered both. This is the game they get to win here today against an inferior St Johns squad. |
11-29-20 | Rhode Island -1 v. San Francisco | 84-71 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show
Rhode Island got their first win of the season after a pair of losses. I had RI on Saturday and was big on how good this team really is and that they were primed for a win and they go the blow out win for me. Rhode Island finished last year at 21-9 overall and 13-5 in the Atlantic 10 (3rd place). The club returns two starters to this year's team. This team has a lot of talent and will be deep on their bench. They also have an excellent backcourt and will pressure in a lot of man-to-man situations. San Francisco Dons are 2-1 S/U and ATS after three games. They beat Virginia on Friday, 61-60 as a 15-point dog. They also got beat in their opener by UMass-Lowell, 68-76 as a 14-point favorite. I still like this Rhode Island team a lot and look for them to continue their winning ways today. Play Rhode Island. |
11-29-20 | Richmond +8.5 v. Kentucky | 76-64 | Win | 100 | 2 h 5 m | Show
Richmond played its first game on Friday and go the win over Morehead State, 82-64, though failed to cover the 21-point chalk line. The Spiders return all five starters to a team that was 24-7 last year and 2nd in the Atlantic 10 with a 14-4 record. All good things on horizon for this Richmond team. This team is full of veterans and leaders. Kentucky has also played one game, a 81-45 win over Morehead State last Wednesday as a 25.5 point favorite. Kentucky looks to be in a rebuild mode as they lost all five starters from a team that went 25-6 last year and 15-3 in the SEC (1st place). This is nothing new for Calipari as he usually looses many players to the NBA draft. So it might take a bit for this team to find the right starting combinations. For me, Richmond has all the pieces in place already and early in the season that makes the difference for me. Play Richmond. |
11-28-20 | Rhode Island +1.5 v. South Florida | 84-68 | Win | 100 | 6 h 53 m | Show
Rhode Island has a couple of games behind them now and they are 0-2 S/U and 1-1 ATS thus far. After shooting 50% from 3-point land in their opener vs Arizona State, they dropped to just 17% in their loss to Boston College last game. South Florida Bulls played Florida College for their only game, an easy win 94-84. A lot is expected of this Rams team so 0-2 to start is not acceptable. That being said, I don't look for this Rams team to start the season 0-3. I expect them to get their first win here today. Play Rhode Island. |
11-27-20 | La Salle v. St. Peter's -2 | 51-62 | Win | 100 | 4 h 40 m | Show
The Lasalle Explorers opened their seasson with a loss to St Johns, 65-82. Lasalle was 15-15 overall last year and 6-12 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. They return three starters to the team for Ashley Howard. Lasalle will have more depth this year and the talent level should be better also. This team will go down in their frontcourt however, where they will lack the most talent. This team is still in a building mode. St Peters also opened with a loss to St Johns, 75-76. They did cover the 11-point dog line though. The Peacocks hit over 50% from the field while holding St Johns to just 40.7%. The Peacocks returned just two starters to a team that was 4-6 in the Metro Atlantic last year and finished 2nd. This team looks to be good both in front an back courts again this year and the Bench is decent. They showed they can play with St Johns and really should have won that game. Look for a easy St Peters win here today. |
11-27-20 | Boise State +13 v. Houston | 58-68 | Win | 100 | 3 h 39 m | Show
Boise State plays its first game of the season here today. The Broncos return two starters to a team that finished 20-12 last year and 11-7 in the Mountain West. The Broncos have now won 20 games seven times in the last eight seasons. Head Coach Leon Rice said this will be his most athletic team he has had in some time. The backcourt will be excellent this year and they will have plenty of depth on the bench. Rice says they have eight or nine players that can start on this team and that makes for a great bench. The hardest part for Rice is finding which five to start. Houston had an easy tuneup with Lamar on Wednesday, winning 89-45. The Cougars held Lamar to just 30% shooting from the field and 7.7% from the 3-point stripe. Houston was 23-8 last year and 13-5 in the American Athletic, which tied them for first. They return three starters to this year's team. HC Kelvin Sampson has built a decent program in Houston and that looks to continue this year. This will be a nice test against a very good Boise State team here today. I think Houston laying 13.5 against a good Boise team is way too many points. I'm taking the dog here in this one. Play Boise State. |
11-27-20 | Belmont v. George Mason +3.5 | 77-67 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 39 m | Show
Belmont opened its season with a win over Howard yesterday, 95-78. The Bruins hit over 50% of their shots from the field. Belmont was first in the Ohio Valley conference last year with a 26-7 overall record and 15-3 conference mark. The Bruins had a NCAA berth last year until it was pulled by Covid. There are high hopes for this club this season. George Mason plays its first game of the season here today. The Patriots looks to rebound from a 5-13 conference record last year, though they did have an overall winning record at 17-15. Mason had lots of injury problems last year that they hope to avoid this season. They return all five starters, which is great news for Dave Paulsen. This team should have much better depth with those starters returning and a healthy bench. Belmont laying points here today. For me, I'll take Mason as they return all that experience and should gel better early with a lack of game experience most teams will have. Play George Mason. |
11-25-20 | Liberty +9.5 v. Purdue | 64-77 | Loss | -106 | 19 h 51 m | Show
Liberty had an excellent season last year before the Covid stopped play. The Flames were 30-4 and 13-3 in the Atlanta Sun (1st place). Ritchie McKay enters his 8th season at Liberty. This team doesn't look to be as dynamic as it was last year but expect them to be right in the thick of the A-Sun race again this year. This team was 2nd in the nation in scoring defense, allowing a paltry 53.8 ppg last year. Expect that same kind of tenacity again this year. IT's a shame that last year's team got shut down just after winning the A-Sun Championship and heading to the NCAA tourney. He does return guards Darius McGhee and Elijah Cuffee to build this year's team around. Liberty hasn't lost the A-Sun since joining the conference. They had heavy losses to graduation and that will show in their depth as six red-shirt freshman will grace the roster. This team might not be as good as last year, but they will still be a team that will be there at the end. Lets take the points here on Wednesday. |
11-25-20 | Old Dominion +8 v. Maryland | 67-85 | Loss | -108 | 15 h 21 m | Show
Old Dominion Monarchs look for a better season after a 13-19 2019 season. The Monarchs finished the year with just seven players on the roster after injuries and mid-season transfers. The team looks for more depth as they welcome back Jason Jones, one of their best players. This was a great rebounding team, 1st in Conference USA on both the offensive and defensive boards. It's the offense they need improvement with this year. Look for the Monarchs to up the tempo this year with the offense with some key returners on offense. You may even see four guards on the floor at the same time. If this team can improve on the offense, and do believe that will happen, they have the pieces to contend in the conference. As for today's contest, I'll take the points here with the visitor. Play Old Dominion. |
03-11-20 | Kansas State v. TCU -1.5 | 53-49 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 28 m | Show
Big 12 Conference Opening round action here today from Kansas City, MO has Kansas State taking on TCU. Kansas State is 10-21 S/U and 14-17 ATS on the season. The Wildcats are 1-10 S/U their last 11 games with that win coming last time out at home over Iowa State, 79-63. They have covered three straight games. The Cats haven't done well in neutral court games, evidenced by their 0-6 ATS mark their last six tries. TCU is 16-5 S/U and 11-19 ATS on the season. The Horned Frogs are 3-4 S/U their last seven games. They are also 4-3 ATS their last seven games. I like the Horned Frogs here tonight. Play TCU. |
03-11-20 | North Carolina -3 v. Syracuse | Top | 53-81 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 21 m | Show |
ACC Conference 2nd round action here today has North Carolina taking on Syracuse. The Syracuse Orange got a bye in the 1st round while North Carolina had a blow out win against Virginia Tech, 78-56. The Tar Heels have had a tough season with a 14-18 S/U record and 13-19 spread mark. Still, this is a North Carolina and don't underestimate them. The Orange are 17-14 S/U and 14-17 ATS on the season. The Orange have lost two of their last three games both S/U and ATS. That includes a home loss to the Tar Heels back on March 3rd, 79-82 as a 5-point favorite. NCU is the favorite here in this contest despite the worst record. I still think this Tar Heels team is much better than their record shows. I'm going to lay the small number with them here. Play North Carolina. |
03-11-20 | Vanderbilt +9.5 v. Arkansas | 73-86 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 21 m | Show
SEC Conference first round action here tonight has Vandy playing against Arkansas. Vanderbilt is 11-20 S/U and 15-15 ATS on the season. Vandy Commodores will look to avenge a big loss to Arkansas earlier this year, 55-75. Vandy has done well vs good teams, going 7-2 ATS their last nine times vs a team with a winning record. Arkansas is 19-12 S/U and 15-16 ATS on the season. The Razorbacks are only 4-9 ATS on the road and while this is not a true road contest, it's still away from where they have done much better. Arkansas is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. They have also covered just one of seven neutral site games. I'll take the points here with the Commodores as they look for some payback here tonight. Play Vanderbilt. |
03-11-20 | Iowa State v. Oklahoma State -6.5 | 71-72 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 54 m | Show
Big 12 First Round action here on Wednesday has Iowa State taking on Oklahoma State from Kansas City, MO. Iowa State Cyclones are 12-19 S/U and 13-17 ATS on the season. The Cyclones have lost three straight games and five of their last six. They are also 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games. They played Ok State back on Jan 21 and won at home, 89-82 then lost at Ok State on Feb 29th, 61-73. Oklahoma State Cowboys are 17-14 S/U and 14-17 ATS on the season. The Cowboys have won three straight games and are 6-2 S/U their last eight. They are also 7-3 ATS their last 10 games. Ok State laying 6.5 points here today. My numbers show Iowa State to be a very poor road team compared to the Cowboys on the road. Big edge here to Ok State. I'll lay the points. Take Oklahoma State. |
03-11-20 | CS Sacramento v. Weber State +4 | 62-54 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 5 m | Show
Big Sky Conference First Round action from Boise Idaho has Weber State taking on Sacramento State. Sac State is 15-14 S/U and 16-10 ATS on the season. They have lost their last two games but covered three and tied one with a push in their last five games. Weber State is 12-19 S/U and 12-16 ATS on the season. Weber has covered its last two games. Sac State laying anywhere from 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 here. Dogs have done well in these early conference tourney games. I have these two teams even here today and with that I'll take the points. Play Weber State. |
03-10-20 | North Dakota v. North Dakota State -6 | 53-89 | Win | 100 | 8 h 4 m | Show
It's the battle for the Peace Garden State here on Tuesday as North Dakota and North Dakota State battle for the Summit league championship and the right to go to the NCAA tournament. North Dakota Fighting Hawks come into today's contest with a losing record at 15-17 overall and 11-18 ATS. This is their third game in three nights after beating South Dakota in the conference opener, 74-71 and then yesterday over IP Fort Wayne, 73-56, both as dogs. Might not be as easy here tonight against a very good North Dakota State team. The ND State Bison are 24-8 S/U and 16-14 ATS on the season. They beat Denver in the opener 71-69 and then beat Oral Roberts yesterday, 75-69. They have won four straight games and 11 of their last 12. They beat North Dakota back on Jan 19th at home, 83-74 and then lost at North Dakota, 68-71 on Feb 22nd. That was their only loss in their last 12 games. I like the Bison here tonight. They price is right so lets come on down and win on the better team here tonight. Play North Dakota State. |
03-10-20 | Hartford +7.5 v. Stony Brook | 64-58 | Win | 100 | 17 h 50 m | Show
American East Conference Semifinals has Hartford playing at Stony Brook. Hartford is 17-15 S/U and 17-12 ATS on the season. The Hawks finished 3rd in the conference. They finished winning three of their last four games. They also covered nine of their 14 on the road this year. Stony Brook Seawolves were 20-12 S/U and 15-16 ATS on the season. The Seawolves were only 5-9 ATS at home this season. They also have covered just one of their last 10 games. They lost last time vs Hartford at Stony Brook, 54-65 and lost at Hartford back in January, 65-68. Yet, here we are today with the Seawolves laying around 7 1/2 points to a team they haven't beaten yet this year. Don't forget they have covered just one of their last 10. I'll take the points here with the visitors. Play Hartford. |
03-09-20 | Coastal Carolina +4 v. Appalachian State | 65-70 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 17 m | Show
Second round tourney action in the Sun Belt conference here tonight has Coastal Carolina playing at Appalachian State. In this tournament, App State will be at home. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers have one of the most unique nicknames in sports. What is a Chanticleer? It's a type of Rooster. I guess that is better than the CC Roosters. Anyway, the Roosters, I mean Chanticleers are 16-16 S/U and 13-17 ATS on the season. Thy have won two of their last three games (all on the road) while covering two of those three. One of those wins was a road game at App State, where the Chanticleers won 84-77 as a 4 1/2 point dog. App State is 16-14 S/U and 15-13 ATS on the season. The Mountaineers are 2-2 S/U and 1-3 ATS in their last four games. My own numbers and power ratings support the visitor in this game. Also, dogs look to be covering at a good rate thus far in the tournaments. I'll take the points here with the Chantacleers today. Play Coastal Carolina. |
03-08-20 | Iowa v. Illinois -3.5 | Top | 76-78 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
Final Big 10 conference regular season game here today for both Iowa and Illinois. Iowa is 20-10 S/U and 18-11 ATS on the season. The Hawkeyes are just 1-2 S/U in their last three games including a home loss to Purdue, 68-77. Illinois is also 20-10 S/U on the season with a 15-14 ATS mark. Illinois lost its last time out, 63-71 at Ohio State. They are still 4-1 S/U their last five. Iowa historically has struggled on the road, going 15-36-2 ATS in their last 53 games vs a team with a winning home record. Illinois is 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a loss. The home team has covered the last four in this series. I like the home team here. Play Illinois. |
03-07-20 | St Bonaventure v. St. Louis -4.5 | 49-72 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show
Final regular season contest here for these clubs in the Atlantic 10 conference between St Bonny's and St Louis. St Bonaventure Bonnies are 19-11 S/U and 17-12 ATS on the season. The Bonnies are 2-3 S/U and ATS in their last five games. St Louis is 21-8 S/U and 16-12 ATS on the season. The Billikens have won four straight games and are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four. Both these teams are likely bubble teams and will need good showing or to win their conference tourney. I like the prospects of St Louis better though and will take them here tonight. Play St Louis. |
03-07-20 | Valparaiso v. Missouri State -3.5 | Top | 89-82 | Loss | -104 | 7 h 23 m | Show |
Semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference here today has Valparaiso playing at Missouri State. This game being played in St Louis, MO so a slight home court here for Missouri State. The Valp Crusaders had to go to OT yesterday to advance to tonight's contest. They beat Loyola Chicago, 74-73 as a 5.5-point dog. They beat Evansville in the first round, 58-55. They will have to be tired here tonight playing their third game in three nights plus that OT. Missouri State should be much fresher, having played just one game thus far. They had an easy time of it last night, blowing out Indiana State, 78-51. The game was never close and that means they should have more in reserve tonight. These conference tournaments really show how well conditioned teams are playing all these games in a row. Tonight, Missouri State is the much rested team. Play Missouri State. |

03-07-20 | Oklahoma v. TCU | 78-76 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 13 m | Show
Last game of the regular season today for these Big 12 teams as TCU hosts Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Sooners are 18-12 S/U and 13-15 ATS on the season. The Sooners have lost four of their last six games both S/U and ATS. Their one game vs TCU this year at home was an easy blowout win, 83-63. TCU is 16-14 S/U and 11-18 ATS. The Frogs can't win on the road, but have won their last three at home both S/U and ATS. That includes beating then No 1 Baylor, 75-72 as a 9-point dog. TCU is tough at home, bad on the road. TCU laying just 1-point at home looks like a bargain to me. Play TCU. |

03-07-20 | Oklahoma State v. Texas -3.5 | 81-59 | Loss | -106 | 5 h 23 m | Show
Both these teams conclude Big 12 regular season play here tonight as they get ready for their conference tourney. Oklahoma State is 16-14 S/U and 13-17 ATS on the season. The Cowboys have done well, but not so good at home. The Cowboys have also not done well in the role of a dog, going 3-8 ATS their last 11 tries. Texas is 19-11 S/U and 15-15 ATS on the season. Tonight's game is big for the Longhorns as they can hit that 20 win mark. They have covered five straight games and won five straight. This game means more to Texas tonight then it does to Ok State. I'm taking the home team here. Play Texas. |

03-07-20 | UCLA +3.5 v. USC | 52-54 | Win | 100 | 5 h 32 m | Show
PAC 12 regular season concludes here this afternoon for both these clubs. UCLA is 19-11 S/U and 15-12 ATS on the season. The Bruins are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games. They have also won seven games in a row S/U. UCLA lost at Pauley Pavillion to USC back on January 11th, 57-68 as a 1.5 point favorite. USC is 21-9 S/U and 19-11 ATS. The Trojans have won two straight both S/U and ATS. You can pretty much throw out records when these cross-town rivals matchup. I like the visitors in this game plus the points. Play UCLA. |

03-07-20 | Baylor v. West Virginia | 64-76 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show
Final game of the Big 12 regular season here for both these teams as West Virginia hosts 4th ranked Baylor. The Baylor Bears held the top spot in the nation for quite some time. That is until they have lost two of their last four games. The Bears are still 26-3 S/U and 18-11 ATS on the season. They have covered just one of their last four games. West Virginia having a fine season also at 20-10 S/U and 13-15 ATS. The Mountaineers have had a rough time lately, going 2-6 S/U and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games. Baylor has one of the top defenses in the nation, but that has let them down of late. Both Kansas and Texas Tech hit over 50% from the field against them here lately. The one big edge I see here for WVU is that they can score points down in the paint. WVU has a big edge on the boards and that will lead to 2nd chance points. I see this Baylor team as being a team primed for another loss. West Virginia will be inspired here in their last home game of the season. I'm taking the home team. Play West Virginia. |

Indiana State Sycamores are 17-11 S/U and 15.11 ATS on the season. They are 3-0-1 ATS their last four games. Missouri State a small favorite here today. My numbers actually give them a bigger advantage on a neutral court. These teams have split the prior two matchups this year with Indiana State winning at home, 71-58 and losing at Missouri State, 68-78. I like the visitor in this matchup today. Play Missouri State. |

03-06-20 | VCU v. Davidson -4 | 65-75 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show
Atlantic 10 Conference matchup here on Friday has Va Commonwealth at Davidson. Both teams playing the last of their regular season games here today. VCU Rams are 18-12 S/U and 10-19 ATS on the season. They have not done well on the road, going 3-9 ATS in their 12 away games. They have also gone 1-6 ATS overall their last seven games. Davidson is 15-14 S/U and 12-17 ATS this season. The Wildcats are 15-14 S/U and and 12-17 ATS on the season. While Davidson has done bad on the road, they are 8-3 ATS at home. Davidson is a good home team, going 10-1 S/U on the season. Laying just four points with Davidson at home looks like a bargain to me. Play Davidson. |

03-06-20 | Siena v. Monmouth -1 | Top | 86-72 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 47 m | Show |
Metro Atlantic conference matchup here on Friday has Siena playing at Monmouth. Last game of the regular season for both these clubs as they get set to enter the conference tournament. The Siena Saints are 18-10 S/U and 14-14 ATS on the season. The Saints are 2-3 ATS in their last five games, though they have won eight games in a row straight up. The Saints have struggled though on the road, going 4-10 ATS in their 14 away games. They play a good Monmouth team here today that is 18-12 S/U and 15-14 ATS on the season. The Hawks are 3rd in the conference and have covered eight of their 12 home games. I like the home team here quite a lot today. They have are 11-1 at home straight up and laying just over a point at home we really just need them to win. Play Monmouth. |

03-05-20 | California Baptist +9.5 v. New Mexico State | 50-83 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 37 m | Show
Western Athletic Conference contest here tonight as Cal Baptist plays at New Mexico State. Cal Baptist with a pair of regular season games left, tonight at New Mexico State and then at Texas Rio Grande. Cal Baptist is 22-7 S/U and 17-8 ATS on the season. They are also 8-2 ATS on the road. New Mexico State Aggies are 24-6 S/U and 12-16 ATS on the season. However, at home at the Aggies are only 4-7 ATS. A bit surprised that a quality team like Cal Baptist getting almost double digits here tonight. My own numbers have this one closer to 5-points on the host. I'll take them thought. Play Cal Baptist. |

The Ducks are 0-4 S/U in their last four but have covered their last two games. Just need to pick the winner in this game tonight with the line around pick. I'll take the visitors. Play Stanford. |
03-05-20 | Texas Southern v. Southern -4 | Top | 74-89 | Win | 100 | 9 h 36 m | Show |
Extra board action here tonight has Texas Southern playing at Southern U. The Texas Southern Tigers are 2nd in the Southwestern Athletic conference. They are second despite a 14-14 S/U and 11-15 ATS record. In conference play they have done well, going 11-4 S/U but only 6-9 ATS. They have covered just two of their last eight games. The Southern Jaguars are 14-15 S/U and 17-7 ATS on the season. The Jags have covered five straight games and are 8-1-1 ATS their last 10. They have also won five games in a row straight up. Good matchup here tonight, but Southern U looks tough to me and I expect them to handle visiting Texas Southern. Play Southern U. |
