11-01-17 | Wolves v. Pelicans -1.5 | Top | 104-98 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
Pelicans The 4-3 Minnesota Timberwolves displayed calm under fire recently, winning their past two games over the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat by three points each. The 3-4 New Orleans Pelicans would rather forget about a 115-99 home drubbing at the hands of the Orlando Magic on Monday in which they showed little effort and no firepower, scoring just 35 points in the second half. When the teams meet Wednesday night at the Smoothie King Center, the Timberwolves will be looking to avenge a three-game regular-season sweep by the Pelicans last year. On Tuesday, Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins took the fall for New Orleans' flat performance against the Magic. Cousins came into the game averaging 36.3 points, 16.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists a game, and he was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on the strength of his efforts in helping the Pelicans win two of three games. He’ll come to play tonight. Take the Pelicans at home laying the small number. |

10-31-17 | Pistons -3.5 v. Lakers | Top | 93-113 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 42 m | Show |
Pistons The Detroit Pistons look to finish off a three-game California excursion with their fourth consecutive overall win when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. The Pistons posted a pair of eight-point victories over the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors and are enjoying a strong start to the campaign. Sunday's 115-107 victory over the Warriors on the second night of a back-to-back was an impressive accomplishment for Detroit, which knocked down 12 3-pointers and connected on all 17 free-throw attempts. The Lakers aren't finding much enjoyment after back-to-back defeats, including setting a season low for points in Saturday's 96-81 road loss against the Utah Jazz. Los Angeles rookie point guard Lonzo Ball is experiencing more downs than ups while shooting 31.1 percent from the field and scoring in single digits in five of six games. The Pistons have won the past three meetings after losing 12 of the previous 13. Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference. Lakers are 5-17-1 ATS in their last 23 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. |

10-26-17 | Pelicans -1.5 v. Kings | Top | 114-106 | Win | 100 | 11 h 24 m | Show |
Pelicans DeMarcus Cousins is returning to Sacramento to face his former team, but he could be without his star teammate. The New Orleans Pelicans got some good news on the injury front but could be missing Anthony Davis in the short term when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. Davis left Tuesday's 103-93 loss at Portland five minutes into the first quarter with a knee injury and underwent an MRI that came back clean, leaving his status as day-to-day, but he is doubtful tonight. The Kings are returning home after a three-game road trip and handed the Phoenix Suns their first win of the season with a 117-115 decision on Monday. The biggest piece coming back to Sacramento in the deal that sent Cousins away last winter was shooting guard Buddy Hield, who is shooting 35.8 percent from the floor and was limited to 17 minutes despite starting on Monday. Cousins' attitude and inability to connect with coaches and teammates hastened his exit from Sacramento, but he doesn't seem to be having those issues in New Orleans. Cousins collected 37 points and 13 rebounds in his first game against Sacramento - a 117-89 New Orleans win on March 31. Pelicans are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. Kings are 15-37-1 ATS in their last 53 games playing on 2 days rest. Pelicans are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings. |
|||||||
10-25-17 | Raptors +12 v. Warriors | Top | 112-117 | Win | 100 | 11 h 45 m | Show |
Raptors After an uneven start to the season, the Golden State Warriors finally started looking like the defending champions in a 133-103 thrashing of the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. The Warriors will try to maintain that level of play when they host the host the Toronto Raptors in the opener of a three-game homestand on Wednesday. Golden State dropped two of its first three games and was struggling on the defensive end before holding the Mavericks to 39.6 percent shooting in Monday's win. The Raptors promise to be a much tougher team to guard and began their six-game road trip with a 101-97 loss at San Antonio on Monday. Toronto is restructuring its offense a bit this season to encourage more shooting and ball movement, and it struggled to 10-of-37 from 3-point range against the Spurs. Warriors are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Atlantic. To many points to pass up. |
|||||||
10-24-17 | Jazz +4.5 v. Clippers | Top | 84-102 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 28 m | Show |
Jazz The Utah Jazz defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in a seven-game playoff series last season but both teams saw a star player leave as they meet for the first time this season on Tuesday in Salt Lake City. Clippers point guard Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets after the first-round series loss while Jazz small forward Gordon Hayward departed as a free agent to sign with the Boston Celtics. Los Angeles has turned things over to Blake Griffin and the power forward scored 29 points in each of his team's first two games while collecting an average of 10 rebounds. Utah figures to rely more on center Rudy Gobert, who posted three consecutive double-doubles to open the season after recording 58 last season. Four players average between 14 and 15 points for the Jazz, including new point guard Ricky Rubio (14.7 points, 8.3 assists). ABOUT THE JAZZ (2-1): Veteran Joe Ingles has been the recipient of extra playing time due to the departure of Hayward and he is averaging 14.7 points while making 12-of-19 3-point shot attempts. The 30-year-old Australian averaged 7.1 points as a reserve last season and has made at least three 3-pointers in each game, including five in Saturday's 96-87 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (2-0): New starting point guard Milos Teodosic suffered a plantar fascia injury in his left foot during Saturday's win over the Phoenix Suns and will be sidelined indefinitely. The 30-year-old Serbian was a six-time All-EuroLeague selection, and tough-nosed Patrick Beverley (12.5 points, 3.5 steals) will pick up some of the ball-handling duties while Austin Rivers will move into the starting lineup. Jazz are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 road games. Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. |

10-20-17 | Jazz v. Wolves -4 | Top | 97-100 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 15 m | Show |
Timberwolves The new-look Minnesota Timberwolves stumbled out of the gate with some meager contributions from a handful of newcomers. The Utah Jazz had no such issues with a retooled roster in their opener and look to stay perfect on the young season when they visit the Timberwolves on Friday night. Playing their first game since losing longtime star Gordon Hayward to free agency, the Jazz rallied around holdover Alec Burks (16 points in 15 minutes) in a 106-96 win over Denver on Wednesday. Andrew Wiggins scored 26 points to lead Minnesota in its 107-99 loss to San Antonio and Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 and 13 rebounds. Imports Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson combined for 29 points on 11-of-29 shooting. They will have a much better night tonight. Minnesota won its home opener last season by 36 points over Memphis, the fourth-largest margin of victory in franchise history. The Jazz were just 4-15 vs. the number as a road dog last season, and they are an underdog in this game. Jazz are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. NBA Northwest. Timberwolves are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |
|||||||
10-18-17 | Hornets v. Pistons -3 | Top | 90-102 | Win | 100 | 4 h 44 m | Show |
Pistons The Eastern Conference looks very top-loaded, with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards again expected to leave the rest of the teams in the dust. The Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Hornets, who open their respective seasons against each other in the inaugural NBA regular season game at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit on Wednesday, are trying to join the party after both missing out on the postseason last spring. The Pistons looked like playoff contenders at times in 2016-17 but were hurt by injuries to point guard Reggie Jackson and some growing pains from star center Andre Drummond, who is taking on a bigger role in the offense. The Pistons brought in SG Avery Bradley in a trade from Boston over the summer and will start him in the backcourt. The Pistons took three of the four meetings last season, including both in Detroit. Hornets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference. Favorite is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. |

06-12-17 | Cavs +9 v. Warriors | Top | 120-129 | Push | 0 | 11 h 34 m | Show |
Cavs The Cleveland Cavaliers avoided the sweep and aim to remain alive again on Monday when they visit the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Cavaliers rolled to an impressive 137-116 victory in Game 4 when they drained a Finals' record 24 3-pointers and badly outplayed Golden State. Cleveland exposed the Warriors' defense with Finals' records for first-quarter points (49) and halftime points (86) and received a sensational offensive performance from point guard Kyrie Irving. I’m looking for the Cavs to hang tough and get the cover here in game five. |
|||||||
06-09-17 | Warriors v. Cavs +6.5 | Top | 116-137 | Win | 100 | 7 h 59 m | Show |
Cavs + 6.5 The Cleveland Cavaliers took their best shot and still fell short in Game 3 and now stand on the brink of elimination in the NBA Finals. The Cavaliers will try to begin a historic comeback from a 3-0 deficit and avoid starting the summer early when they host the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 on Friday. Durant isn't the only Warriors player enjoying a strong series as Stephen Curry continues to put the pain of last year's Finals loss in the rearview mirror by averaging 28.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and nine assists in the series. James is averaging 32 points on 55.4 percent shooting, 12.3 rebounds and 10.3 assists in the series and Irving adds an average of 27 points, but the rest of the team is struggling to find a scoring rhythm. I see the Cavs not laying down here in game four. |
|||||||
06-07-17 | Warriors v. Cavs +4 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 46 m | Show |
Cavs + 4 The Cleveland Cavaliers didn't put up much of a fight while losing the first two games of the NBA Finals and aim to start a turnaround when they host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. Cleveland fell into a hole last season as well before winning the final three games to beat the Warriors and claim the title. Cleveland collapsed in the third quarter of each of the first two games as it wilted under Golden State's offensive firepower. Both coach Tyronn Lue and star forward LeBron James will find a way to change that here at home. James recorded 29 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds in Game 2 for his eighth career postseason triple-double, tying for first all-time with legendary Magic Johnson. I’m looking for his teammates to step up and help him get the win tonight. Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. |
|||||||
06-01-17 | Cavs +7 v. Warriors | Top | 91-113 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 38 m | Show |
Cavs + 7 The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers clash in the NBA Finals for the third straight season and the festivities begin Thursday in Oakland, Calif. The Warriors won the title two years ago and the Cavaliers rallied from a 3-1 deficit last season to win their first-ever title. I’m taking the points here in Game One in what I expect to be a very close game in the 4th quarter. Cavaliers are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Warriors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 3 or more days rest. Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. |
|||||||
05-25-17 | Cavs -9.5 v. Celtics | Top | 135-102 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
Cavs The Cleveland Cavaliers are one victory away from joining the Golden State Warriors in a high-profile NBA Finals' rematch. Second-seeded Cleveland looks to sew up its spot when it visits the top-seeded Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday. The Cavaliers took a 3-1 lead with a 112-99 victory in Game 4 as point guard Kyrie Irving (42 points) and small forward LeBron James (34) scored at will. Cleveland looked in jeopardy of returning to Boston with the series tied before a torrid second half in which it outscored the Celtics 65-42. The Celtics haven't found the home floor to be much help against the Cavaliers as they lost the first two games by an average of 28.5 points. Guard Marcus Smart was a Game 3 hero with 27 points as he capably stepped up in the wake of Isaiah Thomas' season-ending hip injury. But he was unable to follow up that outing as he had just eight points on 1-of-9 shooting in Game 4 for his third single-digit deficit of the series. Cavaliers are 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. Celtics are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. I look for James, Irving and Love to be highly motivated to end the series and get a week of rest before the Finals vs. the Warriors. |
|||||||
05-20-17 | Warriors -8 v. Spurs | Top | 120-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 35 m | Show |
Warriors The Golden State Warriors have yet to lose in the postseason and certainly didn't look like a team that was on the verge of taking its first 'L' while blasting the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday. The Spurs had a few days off to get healthy and try to put the 136-100 thrashing behind them and will get the chance to play host when the series shifts to San Antonio for Game 3 on Saturday. The Spurs watched Game 1 turn when superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard went down with an ankle injury and now know their star player is out for game 3. The Warriors are feeling pretty good about themselves after shooting 56.2 percent from the floor in Game 2 while holding the Spurs to 37 percent in the rout. Warriors are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 road games. Spurs are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. |
|||||||
05-17-17 | Cavs v. Celtics +5 | Top | 117-104 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 1 m | Show |
Celtics The Cleveland Cavaliers have been scorching hot in the playoffs with eight straight victories and aim to keep the streak alive when they visit the Boston Celtics in Wednesday's opener of the Eastern Conference finals. Cleveland had few issues sweeping both the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors while the Celtics had to fight through a tough seven-game series against the Washington Wizards that ended on Monday night. The second-seeded Cavaliers haven't played since May 7 and my feeling is they will come out a little rusty. From a pointspread perspective, the Celtics have caught fire since dropping the first two games to the Bulls in the opening round by posting a terrific 9-2 ATS record the last 11 contests. Brad Stevens’ squad has cashed in each of their past five home games, while flipping to a home underdog for the first time in the playoffs in Game 1. Lets look for a close tight game and take the points with Boston. |
|||||||
05-16-17 | Spurs +14 v. Warriors | Top | 100-136 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 28 m | Show |
Spurs The San Antonio Spurs were on their way to a shocking win in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals until star small forward Kawhi Leonard went down with a sprained left ankle in the third quarter and the Golden State Warriors responded with a big rally. Leonard will be on the sidelines Tuesday, while the Warriors try to stay undefeated in the postseason and take a 2-0 lead in the series when they host Game 2. The Spurs led by as much as 25 points and were up 23 when Leonard landed on Golden State center Zaza Pachulia's foot after attempting a jump shot with 7:53 left in the third quarter, forcing him out of the game for good. The Warriors immediately went on an 18-0 run and outscored San Antonio 58-33 after Leonard's exit en route to a 113-111 triumph. Warriors SF Andre Iguodala (left knee) logged only 10 minutes on Sunday and is questionable for Game 2. Golden State SG Klay Thompson struggled to six points on 2-of-11 shooting in Game 1 - the second time in the last three games that he scored just six points. Warriors win but the Spurs get the cover. |
|||||||
05-14-17 | Spurs v. Warriors -10 | Top | 111-113 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 34 m | Show |
Warriors – 10 The Western Conference finals series that the NBA missed out on last season is finally about to happen when the top-seeded Golden State Warriors and the No. 2 seed San Antonio Spurs face off in Game 1 in Oakland, Calif., on Sunday. The Warriors and Spurs finished with the top two records in the West last season as well, but an early exit by San Antonio gave Golden State an easier path to the NBA Finals. The Warriors have yet to suffer a loss this postseason after rolling over Portland and Utah in the first two rounds and should be well-rested with an entire week off between series. The Spurs were pushed harder in the second round and enter the conference finals at less-than full strength with point guard Tony Parker (quadriceps tendon) out for the rest of the playoffs and star small forward Kawhi Leonard nursing a sprained left ankle that kept him out of the clinching Game 6 win over the Houston Rockets on Thursday. Leonard will have a full four days off before Sunday's opener and is expected to play against Golden State, but will most likely not be 100%. Warriors are 13-2-1 ATS in their last 16 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. The Warriors get the Game One win and cover.  |
|||||||
05-12-17 | Celtics +5 v. Wizards | Top | 91-92 | Win | 100 | 8 h 11 m | Show |
Celtics The Boston Celtics are on the verge of advancing to the Eastern Conference finals but still have yet to prove they can win on the road in the semifinals. The Celtics will go for their first road win of the series and the clinching victory when they visit the Washington Wizards for Game 6 on Friday. Boston used Washington's defensive focus on All-Star Isaiah Thomas to its advantage in the 123-101 win on Wednesday as the 5-9 guard showed off his abilities as a screen-setter and passer to keep the Wizards off balance. Washington used a 22-0 run in Game 3 and a 26-0 spurt in Game 4 to create separation in a pair of home wins but failed to get the defensive stops that led to those runs in Game 5. With Thomas going to work as a facilitator, shooting guard Avery Bradley was free to do some scoring in Game 5 and poured in 25 of his career postseason-high 29 points in the first half as Boston raced out to a big lead. Boston C Al Horford is shooting 69.4 percent from the floor and 58.8 percent from 3-point range in the series. Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points. Wizards are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. Celtics are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings. |
|||||||
05-11-17 | Spurs +6.5 v. Rockets | Top | 114-75 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Spurs All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard vows to be in the starting lineup for Game 6 on Thursday, when the San Antonio Spurs attempt to close out their Western Conference second-round series against the host Houston Rockets. Leonard departed Tuesday's Game 5 due to a left ankle injury but quickly answered, "Yeah, I'm going to be able to play," when quizzed during Wednesday's off-day media availability. The second-seeded Spurs took a 3-2 series lead by pulling out a 110-107 overtime win in Houston with Leonard (22 points, 15 rebounds) seated on the bench, and they know finishing off the Rockets will be an arduous task. Houston guard James Harden recorded 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in Game 5 but had his last-second 3-point attempt blocked by San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili. The Spurs are 3-1 at Houston in 2016-17, going 2-0 in the regular season while splitting the two games in this series thus far. The Spurs have fared well against the number in the underdog role in road close-out games in the playoffs. Gregg Popovich’s team owns a 4-1 ATS mark in this situation since 2013, including outright victories at Oklahoma City in 2014 and Memphis in 2013. Spurs are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Rockets are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games. |
|||||||
05-10-17 | Wizards v. Celtics -4.5 | Top | 101-123 | Win | 100 | 9 h 57 m | Show |
Celtics The momentum has clearly shifted in the Eastern Conference semifinals, and the Washington Wizards now look like the team to beat after a pair of convincing home wins evened the series. The fourth-seeded Wizards still need to earn a win on the road to have a chance of taking the series and will try to keep the thrust in their favor when they visit the top-seeded Boston Celtics for Game 5 on Wednesday. The Celtics made plenty of silly mistakes and watched Washington convert 20 turnovers in 34 points in Sunday's romp. They will correct that at home tonight. Wizards are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. The Wizards are just 2-8 straight up as an underdog over their last 10 games and. are 0-7 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Boston. The Celtics have won and covered in their last six games as a favorite. |
|||||||
05-09-17 | Rockets v. Spurs -5 | Top | 107-110 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 58 m | Show |
Spurs – 5 The San Antonio Spurs have seen the Houston Rockets turn the Western Conference semifinals into a best-of-3 series and they are feeling the urgency heading into Tuesday's Game 5. Host San Antonio will need to ratchet up the intensity after Houston operated at will while evening the series at two wins apiece on Sunday night. The second-seeded Spurs will be attempting to turn the page as Sunday's loss certainly was a mighty blow and opened the door for the Rockets. Houston suffered a huge blow in Game 4 as backup center Nene suffered a torn left groin - officially termed a torn adductor - and will miss the rest of the playoffs. Nene and starter Clint Capela were giving Houston solid production in the middle and the Rockets will be forced to use power forwards Montrezl Harrell and Ryan Anderson at center -- the latter being more of an outside shooter than an interior player. Rockets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win. Spurs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up loss. |
|||||||
05-08-17 | Warriors -8 v. Jazz | Top | 121-95 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
Warriors The Golden State Warriors are getting good news both on and off the court and can earn a four-game sweep of the Western Conference semifinals when they visit the Utah Jazz for Game 4 on Monday. Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who has been out since the first round while dealing with complications from back surgery, reportedly underwent a procedure to address a spinal cord leak and could resume his coaching career as early as later this postseason. Golden State is 7-0 in the playoffs and on the verge of a second consecutive sweep after coming alive in the fourth quarter of a 102-91 triumph in Saturday's Game 3. With Curry and Thompson suffering through poor shooting nights in Game 3, Golden State let Kevin Durant take the lead and watched the former MVP collect 38 points on 15-of-26 shooting and 13 rebounds. Look for both Curry and Thompson to have better shooting nights. Golden State committed just seven turnovers on Saturday - none in the second half. Warriors are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 road games. Jazz are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games. |
|||||||
05-07-17 | Spurs +5.5 v. Rockets | Top | 104-125 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 56 m | Show |
Spurs + 5.5 The San Antonio Spurs have recovered nicely from the series-opening beat down they suffered and look to take a 3-1 lead when they visit the Houston Rockets in Sunday's Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. San Antonio bounced back from a 27-point shellacking in Game 1 to win the next two games by an average of 18 points, including Friday's 103-92 win in Houston. Small forward Kawhi Leonard was solid in Game 3 with 26 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists but the bigger development was power forward LaMarcus Aldridge emerging from his two-game funk. Aldridge scored 26 points on 12-of-20 shooting in Game 3 after averaging just 9.5 points on 8-of-22 shooting over the first two games of the series. Harden broke loose for the first time in the series with a 43-point effort in Game 3 after averaging 16.5 on 9-of-30 shooting over the first two games. Even with his big effort, the Houston offense wasn't clicking on all cylinders. Spurs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. Rockets are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |
|||||||
05-07-17 | Celtics v. Wizards -4.5 | Top | 102-121 | Win | 100 | 6 h 23 m | Show |
 Wizards – 4.5 The Washington Wizards emphatically announced they are still in the series with a blowout win in Game 3, but the emotion is threatening to do the team some harm. The Wizards will try to keep the intensity without the technicals and even the series when they host the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday. Boston start point guard Isaiah Thomas went off for 53 points in Game 2 but was limited to 13 in 29 minutes in Game 3 and did not start the second half while staying in the locker room undergoing dental work. Look for another big effort by the Wizards defense. Celtics are 7-18 ATS in their last 25 games playing on 2 days rest. Wizards are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 2 days rest. Home team is 7-0 ATS in the last 7 meetings. |
|||||||
05-07-17 | Cavs -6.5 v. Raptors | Top | 109-102 | Win | 100 | 4 h 33 m | Show |
Cavs – 6.5 The Cleveland Cavaliers are seeking their second consecutive sweep of the postseason when they visit the Toronto Raptors in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series on Sunday. The Cavaliers are 7-0 in this year's postseason after Friday's 115-94 win in Toronto and have won the first three games of this series by an average of 18 points. Cleveland received much-needed rest after sweeping the Indiana Pacers in the opening round and will receive another break if it can close out the Raptors on Sunday. The Cavaliers recorded a 49-25 rebounding edge in Game 3. Toronto was just 2-of-18 from 3-point range on Friday and is 7-of-35 over the past two games. Cavaliers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Conference Semifinals games. Raptors are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games. Cavaliers are 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Toronto. |

05-06-17 | Warriors -6 v. Jazz | Top | 102-91 | Win | 100 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Warriors – 6 The lack of nightlife on the road should keep the Golden State Warriors focused on Game 3 when they visit the Utah Jazz on Saturday. The top-seeded Warriors, who made comments prior to the series about wanting to face the Clippers instead of the Jazz in the second round due to the more varied nightlife options in Los Angeles, breezed to wins in the first two games at home over the fifth-seeded Jazz. The Jazz were behind by six points after the first quarter in Game 1 and fell behind by 18 points after the first period in Game 2, and I look for more of the same here tonight. Golden State's hot start in Game 2 was driven by the long-range prowess of All-Star forward Draymond Green, who knocked down four of his five 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 21 points. The Jazz are awaiting the return of point guard George Hill, who sat out Game 2 with a toe injury and remains day-to-day. Warriors are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games and are 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games playing on 1 days rest. Jazz are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games. The Jazz have dropped six of their last seven home meetings with the Warriors since the start of the 2013-14 season. It’s a bit of an inflated line at minus six but I’m willing to lay it with Golden State! |

05-05-17 | Cavs -3 v. Raptors | Top | 115-94 | Win | 100 | 8 h 1 m | Show |
Cavs The Cleveland Cavaliers appear intent on making short work of the Toronto Raptors as the scene turns to the Canadian city for Friday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series. Yet Raptors coach Dwane Casey insists his squad isn't going to roll over from the 2-0 deficit and points to last season's Eastern Conference finals as evidence. Cleveland steamrolled Toronto in the first two games of last season's playoffs as well before the Raptors thrived in their home environment and won the next two contests before eventually succumbing in six games. I think this year is a different story. The Cavaliers are 6-0 in this year's postseason and were fueled by forward LeBron James' 39 points in the easy Game 2 victory. James is averaging 34.2 points in the postseason. Point guard Kyrie Irving set a personal playoff high for assists (11 in Game 2) for the second straight contest and is averaging 23 points and 10.5 assists in the series. Point guard Kyle Lowry and shooting guard DeMar DeRozan were hurting after the Game 2 loss for different reasons. Lowry scored 20 points but departed the game with a sprained left ankle - he didn't practice Thursday and is listed as questionable for Friday's game - while DeRozan experienced a dreadful contest in which he tallied just five points on 2-of-11 shooting. The Cavaliers made 18 3-pointers in Game 2 and averaged 16 in their two opening wins. Cavaliers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Conference Semifinals games and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. Cavaliers are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Toronto. |

05-04-17 | Celtics v. Wizards -5 | Top | 89-116 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show |
Wizards Isaiah Thomas is persevering through personal tragedy and putting the Boston Celtics on his back in dedication to his late sister. Thomas will try to summon the energy once again, this time on the road, when the Celtics visit the Washington Wizards for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Thursday. John Wall collected 40 points and 13 assists for the Wizards in Game 2, but it wasn't quite enough to match Thomas. Thomas did a lot of his damage in the paint, where Washington Center Marcin Gortat and hobbled power forward Markieff Morris struggled to defend. Morris suffered a sprained ankle in Game 1 but came out for Game 2 and scored 14 points before fouling out in just 27 minutes. I’m looking for a full and focused effort here by the Wizards at home. Celtics are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game. Wizards are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. Home team is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings. |

05-03-17 | Raptors v. Cavs -7 | Top | 103-125 | Win | 100 | 7 h 53 m | Show |
Cavs – 7 The Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to stumble in the postseason and aim for their sixth consecutive victory when they host the Toronto Raptors in Wednesday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The defending champion Cavaliers jumped on the third-seeded Raptors from the outset of the series opener and rolled to a 116-105 victory. The margin of victory by Cleveland over Toronto in the playoffs at home continues to be astounding dating back to last May with the wins coming by 21, 19, 38, and 11 points. In three of the four defeats, the Raptors have been limited to 89 points, while Toronto slipped to 3-8 SU and 4-7 ATS in the previous 11 matchups overall with Cleveland. With the loss on Monday, the Raptors dropped to 0-7 SU/ATS in their last seven playoff series openers since 2014. However, Dwane Casey’s squad has managed to win Game 2 in four of six opportunities during this span, but one of the two defeats came at Cleveland in last season’s conference finals. Toronto has also been terrible in the underdog role since 2014 by compiling a 5-12 ATS mark when receiving points in the last 17 postseason games. Cavaliers are 11-5-3 ATS in their last 19 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

05-02-17 | Jazz +13.5 v. Warriors | Top | 94-106 | Win | 100 | 11 h 16 m | Show |
#503 Utah The Golden State Warriors have been resting and the top-seeded team in the Western Conference plays for the first time in eight days when it opens the conference semifinals against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. Golden State swept the Portland Trail Blazers in four games in the first round, while fifth-seeded Utah won a seven-game series against the Los Angeles Clippers that ended on Sunday. The upstart Jazz received a stellar series performance from All-Star small forward Gordon Hayward while slaying the Clippers to give the franchise its first playoff series win since 2010. Golden State won two of the three regular-season meetings, with Utah's win coming at Oracle Arena (105-99 on April 14) when Hayward was sidelined with a quadriceps contusion. Jazz are 9-3-2 ATS in their last 14 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Warriors are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 3 or more days rest. Â Â Â |

05-01-17 | Rockets v. Spurs -5.5 | Top | 126-99 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 15 m | Show |
Spurs The consensus seems to be that the MVP race in the NBA came down to Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook and Houston Rockets point guard James Harden, but San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard might be the best player in the Western Conference playoffs. Leonard and Harden will settle it on the court when the second-seeded Spurs host the third-seeded Rockets in Game 1 of the conference semifinals on Monday. Leonard averaged 31.2 points on 54.8 percent shooting, six rebounds and two steals in the six-game win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round and consistently attacked the basket, leading to a 59-of-61 effort from the free-throw line. The Rockets, who led the NBA in 3-point attempts (40.3 per game) during the season, shot 28.4 percent from beyond the arc in the first round. San Antonio, which led the NBA in 3-point percentage (39.1 percent) during the regular season, shot 41 percent in the first round. Rockets are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS loss and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Spurs are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 3 or more days rest. Rockets are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings. Â Â |

04-30-17 | Jazz +3.5 v. Clippers | Top | 104-91 | Win | 100 | 3 h 26 m | Show |
Jazz Utah center Rudy Gobert's level of effectiveness will be observed closely when the Jazz visit the Los Angeles Clippers in Sunday's winner-take-all, first-round series finale. Gobert twisted his left ankle late in Friday's Game 6 and X-rays ruled out a serious injury, so he will be available for Game 7. Utah hasn't won a playoff series since 2010 and it squandered a big opportunity by losing Game 6 at home. The Jazz received poor shooting performances from series star Joe Johnson (nine points on 3-of-9 shooting) and backup shooting guard Rodney Hood (four points on 2-of-10 shooting) and that sabotaged their ability to score. I look for them to be much better today. Los Angeles held a 91-77 edge with 3:58 left in Game 6 and had to hold off a frantic Utah charge to even the series. Paul helped quell the comeback attempt and will again be counted on heavily Sunday in a series in which he is averaging 27.3 points and 10 assists and topped 20 points in all six games. Jazz are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games. Clippers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win. Jazz are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles. |

04-28-17 | Celtics -2.5 v. Bulls | Top | 105-83 | Win | 100 | 9 h 57 m | Show |
#509 Celtics – 2.5 The Boston Celtics have climbed out of an early hole and look to finally put away the Chicago Bulls in their first-round series when the teams meet in the Windy City for Game 6 on Friday. After road teams won the first four games of the best-of-seven set, the Celtics claimed Game 5 at home Wednesday night to seize a 3-2 series advantage and put the pesky Bulls against the wall. Chicago won the first two games behind the dynamic play of point guard Rajon Rondo before he fractured his right thumb and speculation was building that the one-time Celtics star would return before the series ended, but coach Fred Hoiberg insisted that was "a long shot." Instead, the Bulls will enter a do-or-die contest looking for more from one of their remaining stars. Jimmy Butler was held to a series-low 14 points in Game 5 and is shooting 38.5 percent in Chicago's three straight losses. Bradley matched fellow guard Isaiah Thomas with 24 points in Game 5 but he was much more efficient, shooting 11-of-19 from the floor, compared to 6-of-17 for Thomas. Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. Bulls are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

04-27-17 | Spurs -5 v. Grizzlies | Top | 103-96 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show |
#505 Spurs Homecourt advantage held for each of the first five games of the series, and the Memphis Grizzlies are hoping to keep it that way for just one more game. The seventh-seeded Grizzlies attempt to avoid elimination in the first-round, Western Conference series when they host the No. 2 San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 on Thursday. The Spurs breezed to double-digit victories in each of their three home games but are 0-4 in as many games in Memphis including the regular season and dropped a 110-108 overtime heartbreaker the last time they visited in Game 4. San Antonio should feel more confident in Game 6 after getting star small forward Kawhi Leonard some scoring support off the bench in Game 5 from Patty Mills and Manu Ginobili, who combined for 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting. The Grizzlies shot 51.4 percent from the field and went 20-of-22 from the free-throw line in Game 5 but could not get enough stops in the 116-103 setback. Leonard scored 28 points in Game 5 and is averaging 31.6 on 57.6 percent shooting in the series, including 54.2 percent from 3-point range. Spurs are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Grizzlies are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. |

04-27-17 | Raptors +1 v. Bucks | Top | 92-89 | Win | 100 | 6 h 52 m | Show |
#501 Raptors The Toronto Raptors have discovered another solid scoring option to go along with stars DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, and with it they are on the verge of advancing in the playoffs. The Raptors will try to continue to ride the hot hand of Norman Powell when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks for a potential series-clinching Game 6 on Thursday. Powell saw just 21 minutes of action through the first three games (two appearances) of the series as Toronto dug itself a 2-1 hole, but he was inserted into the starting lineup and made all three of his 3-pointers in a Game 4 win and then erupted Monday night at home to help the Raptors seize a 3-2 series advantage. The Raptors now have back-to-back double-digit wins after losing by 27 at Milwaukee in Game 3, and the Bucks are trying to rediscover that form before losing their eighth consecutive playoff series dating to 2001. Milwaukee is looking to overcome a recent history of embarrassing Game 6 failures at home, which includes a 120-66 loss to Chicago in 2014 and an 83-69 setback against Atlanta in 2010. I don’t think they can. The Bucks Antetokounmpo is averaging 16.5 points at home in the series, compared to 27.3 on the road. The Raptors have made 36 more free throws in the series. Raptors are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. Bucks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games. |
|||||||
04-26-17 | Bulls +8 v. Celtics | Top | 97-108 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 11 m | Show |
#711 Bulls + 8 The Boston Celtics have turned the tables on the Chicago Bulls in their Eastern Conference first-round series and look to become the first home team to win a game when the teams return to TD Garden for Game 5 on Wednesday. All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas, whose playoff experience has been dominated by the grief of losing his sister in a car accident prior to the series, had his best game of the set with 33 points in Boston's 104-95 win in a Game 4 equalizer on Sunday. While the Bulls wait on a possible Rondo return, Isaiah Canaan will be thrust into the starting lineup for Game 5 after emerging to score 13 points in 34 minutes of Sunday's loss. Jimmy Butler scored a team-high 33 points with nine assists and one turnover in Game 4, attempting 23 free throws one game after failing to get to the line. Look for him to having another super night. Butler averaged 26 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals in the two wins at Boston. The Celtics were 6-for-28 from long range and Thomas has made just 4-of-21 over his last three games. Chicago is 72-for-85 at the foul line in the series. Boston is 48-for-67. Bulls are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games playing on 2 days rest. Celtics are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games and are 6-18 ATS in their last 24 games playing on 2 days rest. Road team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. |

04-25-17 | Grizzlies v. Spurs -10 | Top | 103-116 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show |
#704 Spurs – 10 What looked like an easy series for the San Antonio Spurs after the first two games is turning into quite the battle as the Memphis Grizzlies gain confidence and find the win column. The Spurs will try to take back control of the series and go up 3-2 when the Grizzlies visit San Antonio for Game 5 on Tuesday. The second-seeded Spurs breezed to wins in the first two games at home but found a different Memphis squad on the road and dropped two straight, including a 110-108 overtime setback on Saturday night that wasted a historic performance from forward Kawhi Leonard. Seventh-seeded Memphis still needs to steal a game in San Antonio to win the series and dropped the first two at the Spurs by a combined 43 points. Memphis will try pick up its first victory at San Antonio this season, while the Grizzlies have compiled a 1-7 SU/ATS record in their last eight road playoff games since 2015. The Spurs have dominated at home in the playoffs since Game 7 of the opening round in 2014 by putting together a 15-5 SU/ATS record. Grizzlies are 3-15 ATS in their last 18 games playing on 2 days rest. Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. |

04-25-17 | Thunder v. Rockets -7.5 | Top | 99-105 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
#706 Rockets – 7.5 The Houston Rockets are on the verge of advancing to the second round of the playoffs and will attempt to close out the series on Tuesday when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5. As Thunder star Russell Westbrook tries to shut down questions about his supporting cast, Houston received a mammoth performance in Game 4 from long-forgotten Nene to take the 3-1 series lead. The 34-year-old Nene scored 28 points on 12-of-12 shooting as the Rockets prevailed 113-109 on Sunday on a day in which star guard James Harden didn't have much in the tank while scoring 16 points on 5-of-16 shooting. Not enough Oklahoma City players are stepping up to help Westbrook as the Rockets repeatedly take advantage when he comes out for rest. Westbrook has recorded three consecutive triple-doubles and is averaging 35 points, 11.8 rebounds and 11.3 assists but the Thunder are on the verge of being sent home. Thunder are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Rockets are 42-20 ATS in their last 62 Tuesday games. Thunder are 3-13 ATS in the last 16 meetings. |

04-22-17 | Warriors -6 v. Blazers | Top | 119-113 | Push | 0 | 11 h 2 m | Show |
#507 Warriors – 6 The Golden State Warriors made the decision to sit Kevin Durant with a minor calf injury in Game 2 and turned out to have no problem winning a playoff game without one of their All-Stars in an easy win. The Warriors will try to earn a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. Golden State got contributions up and down the roster in Game 2 and breezed to a 110-81 win, putting on a defensive clinic in the second half and holding the Trail Blazers to 12 points in the third quarter as it pulled away. The Trail Blazers, who blamed themselves for missing shots and mostly brushed off the sub-par showing, understand how important Saturday's Game 3 became when they fell on Wednesday. I just don’t think they are good enough to hang with the Warriors. Durant said he would have been able to go in Game 2 but the team decided to take the cautious approach and is going to give it a go tonight. Portland's star backcourt of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 75 points in Game 1 but was held to 23 on 9-of-34 shooting in Game 2. Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games and are 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall. Trail Blazers are 7-18-2 ATS in their last 27 Conference Quarterfinals games. Warriors are 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Portland. |

04-22-17 | Spurs -5 v. Grizzlies | Top | 108-110 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 27 m | Show |
#505 Spurs – 5 The Memphis Grizzlies needed a spark heading home down 0-2 in a best-of-seven playoff series, and coach David Fizdale provided one with a postgame rant about the officiating. The Grizzlies will try to ride that spark to a second straight win and even the series when they host the second-seeded San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 on Saturday. The Spurs ran away with the first game and controlled most of the second but could not enforce the pace in Game 3. San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich grew frustrated enough that he pulled his starters less than a minute into the third quarter as the game began to get out of hand. Don’t look for that to happen again tonight. San Antonio was only down four points at the half before a pair of turnovers and a bad defensive possession prompted Popovich to pull his starters, leading to a third quarter in which the Spurs were outscored 31-17. None of San Antonio's starters ended up playing more than 30 minutes in the loss so they will be fresh here in game four. Spurs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win. |
|||||||
04-22-17 | Raptors v. Bucks -2 | Top | 87-76 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 28 m | Show |
#502 Bucks – 2 The Milwaukee Bucks are viewed as a team on the rise with a promising future but they appear intent on fast-forwarding their progress. Milwaukee aims to take a 3-1 series lead over visiting Toronto on Saturday after steamrolling the Raptors 104-77 in Game 3. The sixth-seeded Bucks last won a playoff series in 2001 but are halfway to an upset of the third-seeded Raptors after putting on a whipping in which they led by 20 points after one quarter and held Toronto 30 first-half points. Toronto All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan missed all eight of his field-goal attempts, with that fact qualifying as one of the most impressive qualities of Milwaukee's solid victory. Toronto was ice cold from the outset while shooting 33.8 percent from the field in the embarrassing effort. Shooting guard Khris Middleton scored 20 points in consecutive games as he provides complementary scoring help for All-Star small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. The "Greek Freak" was 7-of-10 shooting while contributing 19 points and eight rebounds and is averaging 23.7 points and 10.3 rebounds. Antetokounmpo's play energizes a Milwaukee club that somehow got better after losing standout power forward Jabari Parker to a season-ending knee injury and saw its confidence grow with a 14-point road victory in Game 1. Raptors are 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 Conference Quarterfinals games and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Bucks are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 vs. NBA Atlantic. Raptors are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings. |

04-21-17 | Rockets v. Thunder -2 | Top | 113-115 | Push | 0 | 9 h 43 m | Show |
#718 Thunder Russell Westbrook repeatedly says winning is all that matters to him and he's running out of opportunities to enjoy that feeling. Houston won the first two games of the best-of-seven first-round series so Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder face a must-win situation when they host the Rockets on Friday. Westbrook produced the highest-scoring triple-double in playoff history with 51 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds in Game 2 but he wilted in the fourth quarter and the Thunder fell 115-111. Westbrook was just 4-of-18 shooting while playing the entire final quarter and it equated to a major missed opportunity as Oklahoma City let a 15-point, first-half lead slip away. I don’t think they will let that happen again. Houston averaged just 102.5 points - nearly 13 points below its average - in two regular-season visits to Oklahoma City and struggled in the fourth quarters with outputs of 13 in the loss and 16 in the win. Rockets are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games playing on 1 days rest and are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Thunder are 38-16-3 ATS in their last 57 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600 and are 17-7 ATS in their last 24 home games. |

04-21-17 | Celtics -2 v. Bulls | Top | 104-87 | Win | 100 | 6 h 14 m | Show |
#715 Celtics The Chicago Bulls look to move one step closer to becoming just the sixth eighth seed in NBA playoff history to win a first-round series when they host the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference matchup Friday night. After sneaking past the Celtics 106-102 in the series opener, the Bulls were dominant in a 14-point triumph in Game 2 on Tuesday, and their confidence is soaring. There could be some rotation and lineup changes in Game 3, and starting forward Amir Johnson (nine points in 27 minutes in the series) may continue to see a reduced role, while starting guard Avery Bradley needs to find the range after shooting 10-of-28 from the floor in Boston. Point guard Rajon Rondo was the one who first hinted that Boston looked defeated in Game 2, and he has a pretty good grasp of what it takes to be successful this time of year. The former Celtics star fell a rebound shy of a triple-double in Game 2 (11 points, 14 assists) and chipped in five steals in an electric 40-minute performance. But he is out tonight. Celtics are 10-4-2 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. Bulls are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Friday games. |

04-20-17 | Cavs v. Pacers +2.5 | Top | 119-114 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 24 m | Show |
#710 Pacers Paul George is being vocal about his teammates but he clearly is the only player capable of keeping the Indiana Pacers in the best-of-seven first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The All-Star forward will try to keep the seventh-seeded Pacers from falling behind 3-0 when they host the second-seeded Cavaliers on Thursday. George averaged 30.5 points and seven assists and knocked down 10 3-pointers as Indiana dropped the first two games and everyone understands the dire circumstances. Cleveland SG J.R. Smith (hamstring) underwent an MRI exam (results were negative) and is questionable for Game 3. The teams split two regular-season games at Indiana. Cavaliers are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a straight up win and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. Pacers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win and are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games overall. |

04-19-17 | Hawks v. Wizards -5 | Top | 101-109 | Win | 100 | 7 h 52 m | Show |
#702 Wizards – 5 The Washington Wizards took some criticism in the regular season for not being tough enough on the defensive end, but the playoffs are a different story. The Wizards look to continue being the aggressors and attempt to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series when they host the Atlanta Hawks in Game 2 on Wednesday. Fourth-seeded Washington pulled off a 114-107 win in the first-round series opener on Sunday despite sending the Hawks to the free-throw line 39 times. Washington has no intention of letting up after watching its aggression lead to 69 second-half points in the win. Atlanta needed to control the tempo and hang onto the ball in Game 1, but instead committed 21 turnovers and allowed 25 fast-break points in the setback. All-Star point guard John Wall scored a playoff career-high 32 points to go with 14 assists and led the charge in the third quarter when Washington came out with a faster tempo. Hawks are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 vs. NBA Southeast and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss. Wizards are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 Conference Quarterfinals games. |

04-18-17 | Jazz +9 v. Clippers | Top | 91-99 | Win | 100 | 9 h 14 m | Show |
#529 Jazz + 9 The Utah Jazz rode an emotional roller coaster in the opening game of the playoffs but they finished it on a high note and can seize control of their Western Conference first-round series when they take on the host Los Angeles Clippers in Game 2 on Tuesday. Veteran reserve Joe Johnson's buzzer-beater lifted the Jazz to a 97-95 victory in the opener of the best-of-seven set as the squad overcame a difficult injury. Center Rudy Gobert, whose breakout season helped Utah return to the playoffs for the first time since 2012, suffered a knee injury on the opening possession of the contest, leaving his status for the rest of the series in doubt. The Clippers, meanwhile, were forced to wrestle with the loss of home-court advantage and know that they can ill afford to go back to Utah down 2-0 in the series. Forward Derrick Favors was summoned off the bench when Gobert was hurt and he - along with Johnson - should see an uptick in minutes with the team's big man sidelined. Favors finished with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting in 32 minutes while Johnson was the team's top scorer with 21 points on 9-of-14. It will take a committee approach on the boards without Gobert - who was fourth in the NBA in rebounding (12.8) during the regular season - and All-Star forward Gordon Hayward did his part with 10 rebounds in Game 1, his best single-game total since Dec. 21. Jazz are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Pacific. Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Conference Quarterfinals games and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Northwest. Â |

04-15-17 | Grizzlies v. Spurs -9.5 | Top | 82-111 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
#506 Spurs – 9.5 The San Antonio Spurs weren't very sharp while ending the regular season with three straight losses and four in the past five games. However, second-seeded San Antonio is known for being sharp in the postseason and expects to begin a turnaround when it opens the first-round Western Conference playoff series against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. The Spurs topped 60 victories for the seventh time in franchise history despite the late-season decline and know the series with the seventh-seeded Grizzlies will be a battle after splitting the four regular-season meetings. All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard averaged a career-best 25.5 points during the regular season and will be counted on to carry San Antonio in the postseason. Leonard scored 30 or more points on 26 occasions and is vying to earn his third consecutive Defensive Player of the Year award. Grizzlies are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games playing on 2 days rest and  are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 Conference Quarterfinals games. Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Conference Quarterfinals games. |

04-15-17 | Bucks v. Raptors -7.5 | Top | 97-83 | Loss | -102 | 5 h 17 m | Show |
# 504 Raptors – 7.5 The Toronto Raptors finished the regular season with four consecutive victories and aim to keep the momentum going when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday in the opener of the Eastern Conference first-round series. Third-seeded Toronto is looking to reach the conference finals for the second straight season while the sixth-seeded Bucks are aiming to win a playoff series for the first time since the 2000-01 campaign. Milwaukee finished above .500 for the first time since going 46-36 in 2009-10 and is looking to halt a stretch of six consecutive first-round playoff exits. DeRozan, who had 32 30-point outings while averaging 27.3 points this season, averaged 22.3 points in three outings against the Bucks. The Raptors were 3-1 against the Bucks this season and won 13 of the past 15 meetings. Toronto is 25-4 when holding opponents below 100 points. Bucks are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 Conference Quarterfinals games. Raptors are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 2 days rest. Bucks are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings. |

04-06-17 | Wizards -5.5 v. Knicks | Top | 106-103 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
#707 Wizards The New York Knicks have already been eliminated from the postseason race in the Eastern Conference and are limiting the minutes of some of the better players on the roster, but that doesn't mean they've given up on the season. The Knicks will try to shake things up by beating a second straight postseason contender when they host the Washington Wizards on Thursday. New York did not have Kristaps Porzingis (back) or Derrick Rose (knee) in the lineup on Tuesday while Rose is still out, Porzingis is very questionable for tonight. The Wizards snapped out of a three-game funk with a 118-111 home win over the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday and battling with the Raptors for third place in the East, though Toronto holds the tiebreaker. Washington does not play a team above it in the standings the rest of the way but will twice face the Miami Heat, who are battling for the No. 8 spot, over the final four regular-season contests. Washington took the last five in the series, including a 113-110 win at New York on Jan. 19. Knicks are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up win. Wizards are 20-9-1 ATS in their last 30 games following a ATS win. |

04-05-17 | Cavs v. Celtics -3.5 | Top | 114-91 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
#506 Celtics The race for the top spot in the Eastern Conference takes center stage Wednesday night when the Boston Celtics host the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers won 122-102 at home against Orlando on Tuesday to pull into a tie with the Celtics with five games to play for both teams. It was the third straight win for Cleveland, which has lost seven of its last 10 road games and dropped a 103-99 decision at Boston on March 1. The Celtics have won two in a row and nine of their last 11 following a 110-94 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, reaching the 50-win mark for the first time in six years. Boston star I. Thomas shot at least 50 percent in four of his last five games and has four efforts with at least 30 points in that span. Guard Avery Bradley (illness) has missed two consecutive contests but is expected to return and face the Cavaliers. Cavaliers are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games playing on 0 days rest. Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Â |

04-05-17 | Heat v. Hornets -1.5 | Top | 112-99 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 27 m | Show |
#502 Hornets The Miami Heat looked as though they were cruising to an Eastern Conference playoff spot a few weeks ago, but four losses in the last six games have put them squarely on the bubble. The Heat look to turn things around when they begin a critical three-game trip against the Charlotte Hornets - one of their chief competitors for a postseason spot - on Wednesday night. The Heat have fallen to ninth in the East, one-half game out of eighth, and another 1 ½ games ahead of Charlotte after the Hornets fell 118-111 at Washington on Tuesday. Kemba Walker scored 37 against the Wizards, but Charlotte coughed up a 12-point halftime lead by getting outscored 36-18 in the third quarter. The setback snapped a three-game winning streak for the Hornets, who play two at home (also Boston) before ending the season with a pair on the road (Milwaukee and Atlanta). Walker is averaging 32.3 points over the last three contests and drained 16 from 3-point range over that stretch. Marco Bellinelli scored 16 to help Walker out on Tuesday while Frank Kaminsky added 12 and is averaging 17 over his last five contests - draining 53.3 percent from 3-point range in that span. Hornets are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss. Home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. |

04-04-17 | Bulls -3.5 v. Knicks | Top | 91-100 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 51 m | Show |
#709 Bulls – 3.5 The Chicago Bulls played their way back into the top eight in the Eastern Conference and can end up as high as the No. 5 seed with a strong finish. The New York Knicks, who host the Bulls on Tuesday, aren't likely to put up much of a fight after losing injured Derrick Rose for the season and reducing All-Star Carmelo Anthony's minutes. Chicago looked ready to slip out of the race completely before winning four straight and six of the last eight to pull into the No. 7 spot in the East, one game behind the sixth-place Atlanta Hawks and two behind the No. 5 Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls, who finish the season with five straight games against teams outside of the playoff race, have very little margin for error with the ninth-place Indiana Pacers sitting one game behind and the 10th-place Charlotte Hornets two back. The Knicks dropped 10 of their last 13 but threw some chaos into the race at the bottom of the East by knocking off the Miami Heat on Friday before falling to the first-place Boston Celtics on Sunday. Bulls are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. Knicks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. |

03-31-17 | Knicks v. Heat -10 | Top | 98-94 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 30 m | Show |
#510 Heat The Miami Heat continue their quest to seal an Eastern Conference playoff spot when they host the struggling New York Knicks on Friday night in the back end of a home-and-home set. The Heat, who entered Thursday tied for seventh in the East with Indiana and 1 ½ games ahead of ninth-place Chicago, rolled to a 105-88 victory in New York on Wednesday after beating Detroit at the buzzer one night earlier. Heat center Hassan Whiteside said his team is in a playoff mindset already and it will face a Knicks squad that was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention this week. New York, which started the season with playoff aspirations, has dropped six of its last seven contests to miss the postseason for the fourth straight year. Guard Derrick Rose scored 51 points combined in two games before missing Wednesday’s contest with a sore knee, is questionable along with C. Anthony for the lowly Knicks. Knicks are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Heat are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. NBA Atlantic. Knicks are 2-10 ATS in the last 12 meetings. |
|||||||
03-31-17 | Pacers v. Raptors -5.5 | Top | 100-111 | Win | 100 | 7 h 39 m | Show |
#504 Raptors The Indiana Pacers aren't playing like a team that wants to make the playoffs, and their latest slide is threatening to plummet the team out of the top eight in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers will try once again to turn things around when they visit the Toronto Raptors on Friday. Indiana dropped four of its last five games to fall below .500 and has not earned back-to-back wins since bridging January and February with a seven-game winning streak, pushing the team down to eighth place in the East. The Pacers opened a three-game road trip with a 110-97 loss at Memphis on Wednesday and will play its next four games against teams above them in the standings, including two against the fourth-place Raptors. Toronto is trying to track down the Washington Wizards for the No. 3 spot in the East and had a six-game winning streak come to an end with a 110-106 home loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. The Raptors still have an outside shot at the top spot in the East and sit one game behind the Wizards with seven left in the regular season. Toronto outrebounded Indiana 51-33 while cruising to a 116-91 home win on March 19. Pacers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest and are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games. Raptors are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss. |
|||||||
03-30-17 | Rockets -2 v. Blazers | Top | 107-117 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 5 m | Show |
#709 Rockets The Houston Rockets averaged 128 points in two victories over Portland earlier this season and look to complete a three-game season sweep when they visit the Trail Blazers on Thursday. Star guard James Harden averaged 32 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds in the wins that came by an average of 16.5 points. Portland is one of the hottest teams in the NBA with a 12-3 record in March and it holds a one-game lead over the Denver Nuggets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference after registering a 122-113 victory over the Nuggets on Tuesday. But keep in mind they played a very weak schedule. Houston is opening a three-game road trip and is close to clinching the third seed in the Western Conference. The Rockets dropped a 113-106 decision to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday after winning seven of their eight previous contests. Rockets are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. Trail Blazers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Southwest. Rockets are 10-3-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Portland. Â |

03-29-17 | Wizards +6 v. Clippers | Top | 124-133 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 24 m | Show |
#519 Wizards Washington All-Star John Wall exploded in the first two contests of the team's five-game road trip and looks for another stellar performance when the Wizards visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Wall recorded 37 points and 11 assists in a victory over Cleveland and followed with 34 and 14 in Tuesday's 119-108 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Wall has helped the Wizards win four consecutive games, and the stellar point guard has steered them to within two games of the first-place Cavaliers and 1 1/2 of Boston in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The victory over the Lakers also clinched the Southeast title, the franchise's first division crown since 1978-79, when it won the Atlantic Division while known as the Bullets. The Clippers are just 9-10 since the All-Star break and are failing to click on all cylinders. Fifth in the Western Conference, Los Angeles has been unable to overtake fourth-place Utah - which holds a 1 1/2-game lead - and center DeAndre Jordan is frustrated with the team's up-and-down nature. Wizards are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 0 days rest and are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Clippers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games. 03-29-17 | Heat -3.5 v. Knicks | Top | 105-88 | Win | 100 | 7 h 24 m | Show |
#507 Heat The Miami Heat look to build off an inspiring late comeback and they continue in their quest to seal an Eastern Conference playoff spot when they visit the fading New York Knicks on Wednesday night. Hassan Whiteside’s tip-in at the buzzer gave Miami a 97-96 victory at Detroit on Tuesday, after the Heat trailed by four points with under a minute to go, to ease the pain of a worrisome 1-3 stretch. Goran Dragic poured in 28 points for Miami, which holds a one-game lead over Chicago for the eighth spot in the East and is just two games out of fifth place after starting the season with 11 wins in 41 contests. The Heat will try to take advantage of the Knicks in a home-and-home set over the next three days. The Knicks snapped a five-game losing streak Monday with a 109-95 victory over Detroit as Derrick Rose poured in 27 points and the team shot 53.6 percent from the field. Dragic reached 20 points for the first time in six games with his offensive outburst, draining 9-of-16 from the field, and Whiteside finished with 17 points and nine boards in the victory. Whiteside’s 15-game double-double streak came to an end, but the 7-0 center made 7-of-13 from the field and continues to lead the NBA in rebounding (14.1). Power forward James Johnson has been a major factor all season for the Heat, scoring 16 in Tuesday’s victory after producing 20 to go along with six assists in the loss to Boston on Sunday. Heat are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 0 days rest and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. Knicks are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games following a straight up win. Heat are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings. |
|||||||
03-28-17 | Warriors +1.5 v. Rockets | Top | 113-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show |
#771 Warriors The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of another 60-win season as they try to lock up the top spot in the Western Conference and homecourt advantage throughout the NBA playoffs. The Houston Rockets, who host the Warriors on Tuesday, are locked into the No. 3 spot in the West and are looking to test themselves against the best in the West heading into the postseason. Golden State went through a disjointed period following Kevin Durant's knee injury and exacerbated by a rough stretch of schedule but has since cruised to seven straight wins with Stephen Curry taking control of the offense and Klay Thompson burying 3-pointers to compliment an improvement on the defensive end. Golden State doesn't plan on resting players this week and can basically wrap up the top spot in the West with a good week while playing Houston (twice) and San Antonio over the next three games. The Warriors needed someone to step up when Durant went down and are getting a strong run from veteran Iguodala, who went 7-of-8 from the floor in a win over Memphis on Sunday and drew high praise from his coach. Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest. Rockets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Warriors are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Houston. |

03-28-17 | Heat -2.5 v. Pistons | Top | 97-96 | Loss | -117 | 7 h 19 m | Show |
#765 Heat The Detroit Pistons are slumping at the wrong time as they enter a pivotal game against the visiting Miami Heat on Tuesday. Detroit has dropped four straight and seven of its last eight contests as it trails eighth-place Miami by 1 1/2 games for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. Detroit suffered a devastating 109-95 loss to lowly New York on Monday to further extend its untimely slide. The Pistons play three of their next four at home as they attempt to end their funk before the regular season concludes with three of four on the road. Miami holds a one-half game lead over Chicago for the No. 8 spot but has dropped three of its last four contests. The brief slump comes after the Heat won 23 of 28 games to recover from an 11-30 record at the midway point. Miami fell 112-108 to Boston on Sunday despite center Hassan Whiteside delivering 19 points and 15 rebounds. Whiteside didn't display any signs of the ankle injury he suffered Thursday as he posted his 15th consecutive double-double and 51st of the season. Heat are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss and are 14-2-1 ATS in their last 17 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Pistons are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 0 days rest. |
|||||||
03-28-17 | Wolves v. Pacers -3.5 | Top | 115-114 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
#762 Pacers The Indiana Pacers look to take advantage of one of four home games in the final nine of the regular season, as they attempt to hold onto a playoff spot, when they host the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. The Pacers are 26-11 on their home court after a 107-94 victory over Philadelphia on Sunday and start a difficult stretch of four contests in six days tied for fifth in the conference with a 2 ½-game edge on ninth. The Pacers is 6-2 in the last eight meetings with the Timberwolves, including a 109-103 triumph in Minnesota on Jan. 26 as George scored 32 points. The Timberwolves have lost six in a row to take away any chance at grabbing the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs, allowing 117.5 points per game during the slide. Timberwolves are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games. Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference. |
|||||||
03-24-17 | 76ers +7.5 v. Bulls | Top | 117-107 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show |
#865 76ers The Chicago Bulls can't afford to lose to teams below them in the standings as they try to close the gap between themselves and the eighth-place Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference. The Philadelphia 76ers, who are out of the race and visit the Bulls on Friday, won't make it easy. The 76ers are trying to learn how to win with a young roster and were enjoying a 3-2 stretch - with both losses by three or fewer points - before getting knocked around in a 122-97 loss at Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Philadelphia, which beat Boston on Sunday, will get more chances to impact the East playoff race with two games each against the Bulls and the No. 7 Indiana Pacers as well as games against Atlanta, Cleveland, Toronto and Milwaukee down the stretch. 76ers are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 Friday games and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Bulls are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. |

03-24-17 | Pistons -2.5 v. Magic | Top | 87-115 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 10 m | Show |
#857 Pistons A lineup change failed to yield any dramatic improvements for the stumbling Detroit Pistons, who will try to snap out of their funk when they continue a four-game road trip at the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Pistons dropped the first two games on the trip and five of six overall to sink 1 1/2 games out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference entering Thursday. The Magic saw their first winning streak of 2017 come to an end at two games when they fell 109-102 to Charlotte at home Wednesday night. Orlando led by as many as six points in the fourth quarter before fading late and falling within one loss of matching last season's total of 47. Orlando lost seven straight meetings before a 98-92 win at Detroit on Dec. 4. Pistons are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Magic are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. Pistons are 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. |
|||||||
03-24-17 | Nuggets v. Pacers -1 | Top | 125-117 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 10 m | Show |
#854 Pacers The Indiana Pacers will be playing at home on Friday, which means they'll probably look like a team that can do some damage in the playoffs. The Pacers will try to shake off another road loss and continue their high level at home when they host the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Indiana dropped five of its last nine games, with all five of those losses coming on the road by an average of 13.2, but won the four home games by an average of 12.3 points. The Nuggets are in their own postseason battle for the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference and snapped out of a two-game slide with a 126-113 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Denver is attempting to hold off a charge by the ninth-place Portland Trail Blazers. Nuggets are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Pacers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss. |
|||||||
03-23-17 | Raptors v. Heat -5 | Top | 101-84 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
#802 Heat The Miami Heat have risen into the top eight in the Eastern Conference, and a .500 record is the next stop. The Heat will try to reach the break-even point when they host another hot team battling for positioning in the East in the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. Miami has not seen .500 since improving to 2-2 with an overtime win over Sacramento on Nov. 1 but gave itself a chance to reach the mark by rolling over the Phoenix Suns 112-97 on Tuesday. That win, coupled with the Detroit's loss at Brooklyn, gave the Heat sole possession of the No. 8 spot in the East, one game ahead of the Pistons. The Raptors are more comfortable in their playoff futures and are trying to jump back into the No. 3 spot. Toronto pulled within a half-game of the third-place Washington Wizards with a 122-120 overtime win over the Bulls on Tuesday that included a 16-point comeback in the final 16 minutes of regulation after a fistfight between Chicago's Robin Lopez and the Raptors' Serge Ibaka who will be suspended tonight. The teams split the first two meetings this season, with Miami earning a 104-89 home win on March 11. Raptors are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 vs. NBA Southeast. Heat are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and are 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 games playing on 1 days rest. Home team is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings. 03-22-17 | Hawks v. Wizards -7 | Top | 100-104 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
#758 Wizards The Washington Wizards missed out on their best opportunity to jump back into the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference and now have to watch their backs with the fourth-place Toronto Raptors creeping up from behind. The Wizards will try to bounce back when they host the stumbling Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. The Hawks have their own issues and are clinging to the No. 5 spot in the East, one game ahead of the sixth-place Indiana Pacers and just three in front of the ninth-place Miami Heat entering play on Tuesday. Atlanta struggled on offense over the last four games and failed to reach 100 points in any of the losses, including a 105-90 setback at Charlotte on Monday that marked the third straight double-digit setback. Washington was one of the hottest teams in the league over a two-month stretch before stumbling recently, and Coach Scott Brooks was disappointed with his team's effort on the interior on Monday after giving up 20 offensive rebounds. I look for a much better performance tonight. Atlanta took the first meeting on Oct. 27 but Washington won the next two, including a 112-86 drubbing on the road on Jan. 27. Hawks are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 1 days rest and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. Â |

03-22-17 | Hornets -5.5 v. Magic | Top | 109-102 | Win | 100 | 6 h 59 m | Show |
#751 Hornets Suddenly, the Charlotte Hornets are jumping back into contention for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference behind a defense that is shutting down some of the top teams in the league. The Hornets will try to bring that defense on the road and run their winning streak to three straight when they visit the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Charlotte seemed to be dropping out of competition for a postseason slot during a stretch of 18 losses in 24 games but came home and knocked off a pair of playoff teams - Washington and Atlanta - while holding them to an average of 91.5 points in the last two games. Charlotte took each of the first three meetings by an average of 26.7 points, including a 121-81 drubbing at home on March 10. Hornets are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 vs. NBA Southeast. Magic are 3-14-1 ATS in their last 18 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Hornets are 10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Orlando. Road team is 24-11 ATS in the last 35 meetings. |
|||||||
03-21-17 | Spurs -5 v. Wolves | Top | 100-93 | Win | 100 | 10 h 3 m | Show |
#661 Spurs The San Antonio Spurs own Minnesota and look to make it 11 straight victories in the series when they visit the Timberwolves on Tuesday. San Antonio won this season's previous three previous meetings by an average of 9.7 points behind the heroics of All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard. Leonard topped 30 points in all three wins over the Timberwolves while averaging 33 points on 59.6 percent shooting from the field. The Spurs are trying to remain close to the first-place Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference race and will be counting on Leonard to bounce back from a season-low 12-point outing in Sunday's 118-102 win over the Sacramento Kings. The Timberwolves are sliding out of contention for the final playoff spot in the West after losing three straight road games, including Sunday's 123-109 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Spurs won their past five visits to Minnesota, including a 105-91 victory on Dec. 6. Spurs are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Minnesota. |

03-18-17 | Spurs -3.5 v. Grizzlies | Top | 96-104 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
#511 Spurs LaMarcus Aldridge is back on the floor after a recent heart issue and expects to enjoy better productivity when the San Antonio Spurs visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Aldridge scored 19 points but was just 9-of-24 shooting during Wednesday's 110-106 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers after missing two games due to minor heart arrhythmia. The second-place Spurs are 1 1/2 games behind the first-place Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference, while the Grizzlies have won three straight games and sit a half-game behind the sixth-place Oklahoma City Thunder. All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard hasn't missed a beat since missing one game due to a concussion as he scored 31 points against Atlanta on Monday and recorded 34 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals in the loss to Portland. Leonard topped 30 points in six of the seven games he has played in March and is averaging 31.3 points during the stretch. Veteran forward David Lee received more playing time with Aldridge ailing and is averaging 12.7 points on 16-of-20 shooting over the past three contests. Spurs are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. |
|||||||
03-18-17 | Wizards +3 v. Hornets | Top | 93-98 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 58 m | Show |
#505 Wizards The Washington Wizards begin a season-ending stretch filled with road games when they visit the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. The Wizards snapped a two-game losing streak with a 112-107 win over Chicago at home on Friday, riding a career-high 20 assists from point guard John Wall, who showed no ill effects from a sprained left foot suffered in Wednesday's loss to Dallas. The victory allowed Washington - which plays 10 of its final 14 on the road - to avoid its first three-game slide since November and kept it within 1 1/2 games of Boston for second place in the Eastern Conference. The Hornets have dropped three in a row after Wednesday's 98-77 loss at Indiana. Wall's distribution led to six players with 12 points or more, a set led by Bradley Beal, who had 24 points and made 3-of-4 3-pointers. Reserve center Ian Mahinmi made 8-of-11 shots in 20 minutes off the bench and he is 20-for-28 from the floor over a span of six contests. Washington has won six of the last eight meetings, including three straight. |

03-17-17 | Wolves v. Heat -4 | Top | 105-123 | Win | 100 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
#810 Heat The Miami Heat finally are in position for a spot in the top eight in the Eastern Conference and get a nice stretch of home games as they try to climb even higher. The Minnesota Timberwolves, who visit the Heat on Friday, are doing their best to stay in the race for the No. 8 spot in the West and can't afford to drop many more games. Miami point guard Goran Dragic sat out a 102-98 loss at Indiana on Sunday after taking an elbow to the eye the previous day in a win over the Raptors but returned to the lineup on Wednesday. The 30-year-old played through a black eye and managed to score 33 points in the 120-112 win over New Orleans, which pulled the Heat into a tie with Detroit for the No. 8 spot in the East. The Timberwolves continue to be a dangerous team at home but dropped their last three on the road, including a 117-104 setback at Boston on Wednesday that began a stretch of six of seven away from home. Heat C Hassan Whiteside is enjoying a streak of 10 straight double-doubles. Â |

03-16-17 | Thunder v. Raptors -2.5 | Top | 123-102 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
#704 Raptors The odds that Russell Westbrook will become the second player in NBA history to average a triple-double increase with each passing game, and the Oklahoma City Thunder are riding their star's historic season toward the playoffs. Westbrook will try to post his fourth straight triple-double and lead the Thunder to their fourth straight win when they visit the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. The Raptors are hanging onto the No. 4 spot in the East and snapped out of a funk with an impressive 100-78 home win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday after a disappointing 2-3 road trip. The Raptors believe they found the formula to win without Lowry on Monday, when they used a lock-down defense to create transition opportunities on offense. Thunder are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Raptors are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 2 days rest. |

03-15-17 | Bucks +8 v. Clippers | Top | 97-96 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show |
#619 Bucks The Milwaukee Bucks are teetering on the edge of the top eight in the Eastern Conference and can't afford to go on a losing streak. The Los Angeles Clippers, who host the Bucks on Wednesday, are more secure in the top eight of the West but are fighting for homecourt advantage in the first round and won’t make things easy on Milwaukee. The Bucks won six straight to get back into the top eight and move to the verge of a .500 record before falling off in a 113-93 loss at the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday in the opener of a six-game road trip. The Clippers missed out on an opportunity to pull into a tie for the No. 4 spot in the West when they fell to the fourth-place Utah Jazz on Monday, dropping them two games back. Milwaukee sits a half-game ahead of the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls and was not happy about failing to match the intensity of the Grizzlies on Monday. Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Clippers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 1 days rest and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.  |

03-15-17 | Kings v. Suns -5.5 | Top | 107-101 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 47 m | Show |
#618 Suns The Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns are both spending the final month of the season building toward the future, but only one seems to be making a lot of progress. The Suns will try to continue the strides they've made since the All-Star break when they host the Kings on Wednesday. Phoenix made a commitment to its younger players after the All-Star break, benching veteran center Tyson Chandler and veteran guard Brandon Knight in order to open up playing time for younger players like Alan Williams and Tyler Ulis, and the results have largely been positive. The Suns' most promising young player continues to be 20-year-old shooting guard Devin Booker, who is averaging 28 points over the last four games. Sacramento changed direction in a big way with the trade of center DeMarcus Cousins during All-Star weekend and is just 2-8 since the deal, though it picked up a 120-115 triumph over Orlando on Monday to snap an eight-game slide. Kings are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Suns are 35-16-1 ATS in their last 52 games following a ATS loss. |

03-15-17 | Mavs v. Wizards -7 | Top | 112-107 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 46 m | Show |
#604 Wizards The Washington Wizards are battling for the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference and fell a half-game behind the Boston Celtics in that race with a rare loss on Monday. The Wizards will try to bounce back and earn their eighth win in 10 games when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. The Mavericks are trying to climb into the No. 8 spot in the West but dropped their last two games, including a rough 100-78 setback at Toronto on Monday in the opener of a four-game trip. Monday's setback dropped Dallas 3 1/2 games behind the eighth-place Denver Nuggets with 16 games to play and marked the team's second straight poor shooting performance. The Mavericks shot 36.5 percent from the field against the Raptors after shooting 37.8 percent in a 100-98 home loss to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday. Washington will play its next two games at home before finishing out the regular season with 10 of 14 on the road and knows it didn't play its best at the end of the just-completed trip. All-Star point guard John Wall managed to continue his strong play with 27 points on Monday - his fifth consecutive game posting at least 25 points. Mavericks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. Wizards are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. |

03-14-17 | Pacers -3.5 v. Knicks | Top | 81-87 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
#533 Pacers The mercurial Indiana Pacers never seem to be able to carry momentum from one game to the next but are still hanging onto a spot in the top eight of the Eastern Conference. The Pacers will try to secure back-to-back wins for the first time in over a month when they visit the New York Knicks on Tuesday. The Pacers had a solid 102-98 triumph at home over Miami on Sunday after a dismal performance in a 99-85 loss at Milwaukee on Friday. The Knicks are not part of the postseason race any longer and suffered the indignity of becoming the first team to lose in Brooklyn to the NBA-worst Nets in 2017 when they dropped a 120-112 decision on Sunday. Indiana is only three games ahead of the ninth-place Heat in the loss column and is concentrating on taking the games as they come instead of building a long winning streak in one day. Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss. Knicks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Favorite is 13-5 ATS in the last 18 meetings. |

03-11-17 | Suns v. Mavs -5.5 | Top | 100-98 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 59 m | Show |
#718 Mavs – 5.5 The Dallas Mavericks are playing their best basketball of the season as they try for their fifth straight victory Saturday against the visiting Phoenix Suns. Dallas struggled to maintain its focus with a 105-96 victory over Brooklyn on Friday to get within 1 1/2 games of Denver for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, and is 26-23 after a 2-13 start seemed to derail its season before it got very far down the tracks. Nerlens Noel, who was acquired from Philadelphia last month, did not play Friday because of left knee soreness, but Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said the injury doesn't appear to be serious. Phoenix finished its five-game homestand by losing two straight — 131-127 to red-hot Washington and 122-110 to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. J.J. Barea returned to the lineup Friday after missing 20 games with a calf injury, recording nine points and three assists in 14 minutes. Yogi Ferrell scored 17 points Friday against the club he played 10 games with earlier this season before the Mavericks signed him from Brooklyn's Development League team in Long Island. Suns are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Southwest and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. Mavericks are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. |

03-11-17 | Raptors v. Heat -5.5 | Top | 89-104 | Win | 100 | 6 h 59 m | Show |
#712 Heat – 5.5 The Miami Heat are in the midst of a remarkable run and they still have plenty of work to do to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference as they host the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night. The Heat have won three in a row - two against East leader Cleveland - and 20 of their last 24 contests overall to pull within a half game of eighth-place Milwaukee and are just two out of sixth. The Raptors were rolling along on a 6-2 run before falling 105-99 at Atlanta on Friday night despite a 28-point effort from All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan. Toronto forced 21 turnovers, but allowed 52 percent shooting from the field to see its lead on fourth place in the East over Atlanta reduced to two games. Miami plays six of the next seven games at home, where it has won four in a row, and are getting contributions from throughout the lineup. Point guard Goran Dragic (20.2 points, 6.1 assists) is scoring 22 and dishing out seven assists per game over the last three and backcourt mate Dion Waiters has recorded 53 total points in the last two contests to push his average to 15.9. Center Hassan Whiteside (16.5 points, league-high 14.1 rebounds) has registered seven consecutive double-doubles and 10 in his last 11 outings. Raptors are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NBA Southeast. Heat are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and are 14-3-1 ATS in their last 18 games following a ATS win. Home team is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings. |
|||||||
03-11-17 | Knicks v. Pistons -6.5 | Top | 92-112 | Win | 100 | 3 h 58 m | Show |
#706 Pistons – 6.5 The Detroit Pistons have no intention of surrendering their spot in the top eight in the Eastern Conference and announced their plan to go deep in the playoffs by topping the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. The Pistons will try to maintain the same focus when they take a step down in competition by hosting the New York Knicks on Saturday. Detroit, which occupies the No. 7 spot in the East, can get back to .500 for the first time since it was 14-14 on Dec. 16 with a win on Saturday. The Knicks dropped three of their last four games and have been off since falling 104-93 at Milwaukee on Wednesday. Star forward Carmelo Anthony sat out a win at Orlando on Monday to rest a sore left knee but returned at Milwaukee and scored only 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting in 40 minutes. Anthony, who averages 23.1 points, failed to score 20 in any of his first four games this month. The home team took each of the last five in the series, including Detroit's 102-89 home win on Nov. 1. Knicks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 2 days rest and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Pistons are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 1 days rest. |

03-10-17 | Wizards -8 v. Kings | Top | 130-122 | Push | 0 | 10 h 58 m | Show |
#515 Wizards The Washington Wizards are a scorching-hot basketball squad but they have dropped their last six visits to Sacramento. The Wizards try to end that dubious skid when they visit the Kings on Friday looking for their first victory in Sacramento since Jan. 21, 2009. Washington is 23-6 over the past two-plus months and is putting the heat on the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference race. The Wizards rolled to a 123-113 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday to make it two straight victories to start a five-game road trip. Sacramento has dropped six consecutive games and the last one was especially painful as the Kings held a 28-point, second-quarter lead over the San Antonio Spurs before collapsing to suffer a 114-104 loss. Sacramento has fallen four games behind the eighth-place Nuggets for the final Western Conference playoff spot and now lacks offensive firepower after the trade of All-Star DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans. Washington emerged victorious in nine of its last 11 road games. Wizards are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win. Kings are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. NBA Southeast. |

03-10-17 | Rockets -5.5 v. Bulls | Top | 115-94 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
#505 Rockets The Chicago Bulls aren't clicking like a team headed to the postseason and look to halt a three-game losing streak when they host the Houston Rockets on Friday. Chicago dropped four of its last five games and slipped to two games below .500 with Wednesday's 98-91 loss to the Orlando Magic. The Bulls bumbled and stumbled through the road loss in Orlando and continue to claim it's only a matter of time before they put things together. Well time is running out. Houston has scored 100 or more points in a franchise-record 51 consecutive games but defensive issues led to a 115-108 loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. The Rockets have dropped back-to-back games and stand three games ahead of the Jazz in the battle for third place in the Western Conference. Houston had a streak of 18 consecutive games with 10 or more 3-pointers end in the loss to Utah, when it was just 8-of-32 from behind the arc. Star point guard James Harden scored 35 points for his third straight 30-point outing while recording a season-low six assists but neither him nor guard Patrick Beverley are concerned over back-to-back defeats. Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games following a straight up loss. Bulls are 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games playing on 1 days rest. |

03-09-17 | Spurs -3 v. Thunder | Top | 92-102 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
# 703 Spurs The Oklahoma City Thunder have matched a season worst losing skid of four games and will be hard-pressed to end the streak when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. San Antonio registered its ninth consecutive victory with a 114-104 home win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday and trails the first-place Golden State Warriors by 1 1/2 games in the Western Conference race. The Spurs extended their NBA record of consecutive 50-win seasons to 18 with Wednesday's 114-104 win over the Sacramento Kings on a night in which starting forward Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge were both rested. Oklahoma City star guard Russell Westbrook is also part of the MVP race and is coming off a career-high 58-point outing but it couldn't prevent the Thunder from losing 126-121 to the visiting Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday. Leonard scored 36 points as the Spurs posted a 108-94 victory over the Thunder on Jan. 31. Spurs are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Northwest. Thunder are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. Favorite is 23-9-1 ATS in the last 33 meetings. |

03-07-17 | Lakers v. Mavs -9.5 | Top | 111-122 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show |
#704 Mavericks – 9.5 The Dallas Mavericks are one of several teams fighting to earn the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference and are playing at a high level after turning the team over to Dirk Nowitzki and a plethora of youngsters. The Los Angeles Lakers, who visit the Mavericks on Tuesday, turned their team over to the youngsters as well but have less hope for the immediate future as they toil in last place in the West. Dallas is thriving behind 24-year-old leading scorer Harrison Barnes (20.1 points) and low-cost pickups Seth Curry and Yogi Ferrell, who form the new starting backcourt in a small lineup. While the Lakers are busy fighting off coups in the front office, on the court the team continues to fall with losses in seven straight and 18 of 22. Dallas is 15-9 since moving Curry into the starting lineup, and the younger brother of two-time MVP Steph Curry is carving out his own identity by scoring 20 or more points in four straight games and five of the last six. Curry went 10-of-16 from the floor en route to 22 points in Sunday's 104-89 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder - the Mavericks' second straight win over a Western Conference team bound for the postseason. The young Dallas squad continues to be led by veteran power forward Dirk Nowitzki, who is inching toward 30,000 career points (29,980) and recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds in Sunday's win. Mavericks PF Nerlens Noel is shooting 63.6 percent from the field in five games since joining the team at the trade deadline. Dallas took the last 13 in the series, including handing Los Angeles its worst loss in franchise history 122-73 on Jan. 22.  |

03-03-17 | Heat -3.5 v. Magic | Top | 99-110 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 29 m | Show |
#825 Heat What appeared to be a lost or at least transitional season a month and a half ago has turned into one that could include a playoff series or more for the Miami Heat. The Heat have won 17 of their last 20 contests since an 11-30 start and can avenge one of the three losses during their surge when they visit the struggling Orlando Magic on Friday night for a Southeast Division battle. Miami is one game behind eighth-place Detroit in the Eastern Conference and just three away from sixth after a 125-98 victory over Philadelphia on Wednesday, but lost 116-107 at home to the Magic on Feb. 13. Orlando, which owns more victories than only three teams in the league after starting the season with playoff aspirations, dropped seven of its last nine after a 101-90 home defeat against the New York Knicks on Wednesday. Miami received 67 points from its bench in the victory over Philadelphia and 24 of them came from guard Tyler Johnson, who is fourth on the team in scoring (14.0). Center Hassan Whiteside notched his sixth double-double in the last seven games and leads the league in rebounds (14.1) while blocking 2.1 shots per contest – among the top four in the NBA. Goran Dragic scored 15 on Wednesday after averaging 22.5 points in February while Dion Waiters matched him after scoring 18.4 per contest last month. Heat are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and are 11-2-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. Eastern Conference. Magic are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home. Heat are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Orlando. |

03-03-17 | Raptors v. Wizards -5 | Top | 114-106 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
#822 Wizards The Washington Wizards struck the first blow in the battle for third place in the Eastern Conference on Wednesday and will try to gain another game over Toronto in the standings when they host the Raptors for the second leg of the home-and-home set on Friday. The Wizards snapped an eight-game regular-season skid in the series and pulled one game ahead of the Raptors with a 105-96 triumph at Toronto on Wednesday. The Wizards held the Raptors to 36.7 percent from the floor in the win, which came one day after the Wizards knocked off the NBA-best Golden State Warriors. After coming out of the All-Star break sluggish with back-to-back losses, Washington bounced back to improve to 20-5 over the last 25 games and stay within two games of the second-place Boston Celtics in the East. Toronto is trying to figure out the flow amongst the starters with Lowry out but is also struggling on the bench. Washington's bench seems to be thriving with the addition of shooting guard Bojan Bogdanovic, who came over from the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline and scored at least 15 points in each of the last three games. All-Star John Wall handed out 13 assists in Wednesday's triumph and is averaging 14.3 in four games since the break. Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss. Wizards are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 home games are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up win. Raptors are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings. |

03-01-17 | Cavs v. Celtics +1 | Top | 99-103 | Win | 100 | 8 h 37 m | Show |
#510 Celtics The Boston Celtics worked their way up to second place in the East but have yet to prove they can beat the best team in the conference. The Celtics will get another crack at that when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Boston is four games behind the Cavaliers in the standings and might be accused of looking ahead on the schedule after a sub-par performance in a 114-98 home loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. The Cavaliers fell at home to Chicago on Saturday with LeBron James sitting out but looked like a dominant team again with their superstar back in the lineup against Milwaukee on Monday. Boston star Isaiah Thomas struggled to 19 points on 4-of-21 shooting on Monday, ending his franchise-record streak of 20-point games at 43. Celtics SG Avery Bradley (Achilles) returned from an 18-game absence on Monday and scored six points in 15 minutes. Cavaliers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |

03-01-17 | Wizards +4.5 v. Raptors | Top | 105-96 | Win | 100 | 7 h 7 m | Show |
#503 Wizards The Toronto Raptors figure to lean heavily on All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan when they host the Washington Wizards on Wednesday in the first half of a home-and-home set. In the Raptors' third game since losing point guard Kyle Lowry to a wrist injury, they received 37 points from DeRozan to outlast the New York Knicks 92-91 at Madison Square Garden on Monday. The Wizards, who are in a virtual tie with Toronto for third place in the Eastern Conference, have lost eight straight meetings with the Raptors but enter this one feeling pretty good about themselves after knocking off NBA-leading Golden State on Tuesday at home. John Wall tied his career high with 19 assists as Washington avoided its first three-game losing streak since November. Washington is beginning to get the scoring punch off the bench it hoped for when it acquired Bojan Bogdanovic from Brooklyn prior to the trade deadline. His debut with the Wizards resulted in two points in 18 minutes but the third-year pro is averaging 15.5 points while making half of his 12 3-point tries over the last two games. Wall is averaging 21.3 points and 14.7 assists since the All-Star break and we went for 33 and 11 in the only meeting with Toronto this season. Wizards are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. Raptors are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 1 days rest and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Southeast. Wizards are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Toronto. |

02-28-17 | Suns v. Grizzlies -9 | Top | 112-130 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
#708 Grizzlies The Memphis Grizzlies have been sputtering of late and coach David Fizdale is pondering lineup changes designed to fuel a move upward in the Western Conference standings. The Grizzlies are sixth in the West entering Tuesday's game against the visiting Phoenix Suns and Sunday's win over the Denver Nuggets was only their second in the past five games. Phoenix lost the first two of a three-game road swing and dropped 12 of its last 15 contests. The Suns allowed 100 or more points in 21 of their past 22 games and rank next-to-last in scoring defense at 112.5 points per game. The Grizzlies won 10 of their past 13 home games against the Suns, including a 110-91 victory on Feb. 8. Suns are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Grizzlies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Suns are 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings. Â |

02-28-17 | Nuggets v. Bulls -2.5 | Top | 125-107 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
#706 Bulls Trading away one starter and another key rotation player in exchange for a pair of young projects might have been seen as the Chicago Bulls raising the white flag on the 2016-2017 season, but the team's recent results suggest otherwise. The Bulls will try to earn their fifth straight win and pull two games above .500 for the first time since mid-December when they host the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. Chicago played shorthanded in a 128-121 overtime triumph over the Phoenix Suns on Friday but welcomed point guard Cameron Payne and center Joffrey Lauvergne on Saturday while pulling off a 117-99 upset at Cleveland. The Nuggets are clinging to the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference and dropped three of their last four games after suffering a 105-98 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. No matter how many young players get an opportunity on coach Fred Hoiberg's team, Chicago will go as far as stars Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade take it. The two nearly became the first pair of teammates for the franchise since Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen to record triple-doubles in the same game on Saturday, but Wade ended up one rebound short. Nuggets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Bulls are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and are 22-8 ATS in their last 30 games playing on 2 days rest. Home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings. |

02-27-17 | Hawks v. Celtics -3.5 | Top | 114-98 | Loss | -108 | 6 h 0 m | Show |
Celtics The host Boston Celtics will try to take advantage of a struggling Atlanta Hawks squad before beginning a critical stretch of games when the teams meet on Monday. After the Hawks leave town, the Celtics host Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland - which leads Boston by three games - before playing five straight on the road. Behind a 33-point effort by All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas, the Celtics halted a two-game slide Sunday with a 104-98 win at Detroit. Thomas has scored at least 20 points in a franchise-record 43 games in a row, and he hit the decisive basket with 2.4 seconds left to lift Boston to a 103-101 win at Atlanta in their first meeting of the season. The Hawks are averaging 86.7 points during their three-game losing streak, which includes a 105-86 setback at Orlando on Saturday. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored a team-high 15 points but was the only starter to hit at least half of his attempts as Atlanta shot under 40 percent for the second straight time. Hawks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Eastern Conference. Celtics are 36-15-1 ATS in their last 52 games playing on 0 days rest and are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Southeast. |

02-26-17 | Jazz v. Wizards -1.5 | Top | 102-92 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 59 m | Show |
Wizards Following a loss on the road against a sub-.500 team, the Washington Wizards return home to begin a challenging stretch beginning Sunday against the Utah Jazz. The contest marks the first half of a two-game homestand that also includes the Golden State Warriors, after which the Wizards play a home-and-home set against the Toronto Raptors. They enter the four-game gauntlet after a 120-112 setback at Philadelphia on Friday, just the third defeat in Washington's last 18 contests. Jazz G Rodney Hood shot 1-for-9 against Milwaukee after missing the previous eight games with a knee injury. Wizards F Otto Porter Jr. entered Saturday leading the NBA in 3-point shooting (46.1 percent), while Jazz F Joe Ingles was third (44.1). Washington has won 19 of its last 20 home games. Lay the very small number with the Wizards. |

02-25-17 | Pacers v. Heat -4.5 | Top | 95-113 | Win | 100 | 7 h 21 m | Show |
#508 Heat The Miami Heat were thinking about next season a little over a month ago, and things have changed dramatically as they prepare to host the Indiana Pacers for a key Eastern Conference battle on Saturday night. The Heat have won 15 of their last 17 games after rolling over Atlanta 108-90 on Friday and are within two games of the eighth and final playoff spot after a demoralizing 11-30 start. Indiana found its game Friday in the first contest after the All-Star break as it shot 51.3 percent en route to a 102-92 victory over Memphis that snapped a six-game losing streak. The Pacers Paul George, who was mentioned in trade rumors up to Thursday's trading deadline despite being the team’s leading scorer, made just 3-of-12 from the field one day later and has missed 10 of his last 12 attempts from 3-point range. Miles had averaged 6.3 points in his previous three contests before breaking out for 17 Friday. The Heat have won the last three meetings, including a 95-89 victory on Dec. 14. Pacers are 9-24-1 ATS in their last 34 games playing on 0 days rest. Heat are 11-1-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win and are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 0 days rest. Home team is 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings. |

02-25-17 | Hawks -2.5 v. Magic | Top | 86-105 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
#503 Hawks The Atlanta Hawks hope to wash away the bitter taste of a disappointing effort coming out of the All-Star break when they visit the struggling Orlando Magic on Saturday. The Hawks lost for the third time in four games Friday as they shot 38 percent from the field in a 108-90 setback against the red-hot Miami Heat, following a nine-day break. Atlanta should have point guard and second-leading scorer Dennis Schroder (17.5 points, 6.3 assists) back in the lineup after the 23-year-old German was suspended one game for being late returning from the break. The Magic were quiet on trade deadline day and continued their free fall that night by coughing up a lead in Thursday’s 112-103 defeat against Portland - their sixth loss in seven games. The Hawks have won the last two meetings by a combined 46 points and Howard is shooting 76 percent from the field against his former team in 2016-17. Hawks are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games playing on 0 days rest and re 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS loss. Magic are 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 home games and re 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games playing on 1 days rest. |

02-24-17 | Jazz -3 v. Bucks | Top | 109-95 | Win | 100 | 8 h 44 m | Show |
#849 Jazz The All-Star break may have come at the wrong time for the Milwaukee Bucks, who were finally beginning to build some positive momentum after a horrid stretch bridging January and February. The Bucks will try to find that spark again and post a fourth straight win when they return from the break and host the Utah Jazz on Friday. Milwaukee dropped 12 of 14 games to fall out of the top eight in the Eastern Conference before the brief surge heading into the break. The Jazz would qualify as one of those teams racing for seeding in the Western Conference, where they are battling the Los Angeles Clippers for the No. 4 spot while trying to stay clear of sixth-place Memphis. Utah was in its own small rut with three losses in a row before going into the break happy with a 111-88 triumph over Portland and will close February with three straight on the road. Utah earned a 104-88 home win over Milwaukee on Feb. 1 - its fifth straight victory in the series. Jazz are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Central. Bucks are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 3 or more days rest. Jazz are 23-5 ATS in the last 28 meetings. |

02-24-17 | Lakers v. Thunder -10 | Top | 93-110 | Win | 100 | 8 h 44 m | Show |
#852 Thunder Magic Johnson was part of the "Showtime" Los Angeles Lakers who won five NBA titles in the 1980s but the Hall of Fame player is an unknown quantity when it comes to being an executive. Johnson is the new president of basketball operations of the Lakers, who resume play after the All-Star break by visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Oklahoma City is always happy to see Los Angeles as the opponent as its two wins earlier this season make it 10 consecutive victories over the Lakers. The Thunder acquired power forward Taj Gibson and small forward Doug McDermott at Thursday's trading deadline. Thunder All-Star PG Russell Westbrook has recorded 27 triple-doubles, four behind second-place Wilt Chamberlain (31 in 1967-68) as he pursues record-holder Oscar Robertson (41 in 1961-62). The Lakers dropped their past nine visits to Oklahoma City. Lakers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game and are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 vs. Western Conference. Thunder are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Lakers are 0-7 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Oklahoma City. |

02-24-17 | Wizards v. 76ers +8 | Top | 112-120 | Win | 100 | 7 h 45 m | Show |
#844 76ers The Philadelphia 76ers were one of the more active teams in front of Thursday's trade deadline as they continue to put together the pieces they hope will soon lead them back to the playoffs. The Washington Wizards, who visit the 76ers on Friday, did some dealing of their own and appear well-positioned to challenge for a spot in the Eastern Conference finals. 76ers SF Robert Covington averaged 18 points in the last three games and went 12-of-22 from 3-point range in that span. Wizards are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. 76ers are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. This game will be close so take the points with the 76ers. |

02-23-17 | Hornets v. Pistons -4 | Top | 108-114 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
#504 Pistons The playoff race in the Eastern Conference is far from settled with less than two months remaining in the regular season, and both the Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Hornets intend to be part of the top eight when the dust settles. The Pistons, who currently hold down the No. 8 spot in the East, will try to improve their standing when they host the slumping Hornets on Thursday. There are seven team separated by six games sitting between the No. 6 and the No. 12 spot in the East as the stretch run begins following the week off after the All-Star break, and Detroit went into the break strong with six wins in its last nine games. Charlotte begins its final 26 games 2 1/2 games behind Detroit but stumbled into the break with losses in four straight and 11 of its last 12 games. Charlotte Cs Miles Plumlee (calf) and Cody Zeller (quad) are both questionable for Thursday. Hornets are 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall and are 7-16-2 ATS in their last 25 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Pistons are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games. |

02-15-17 | Pelicans v. Grizzlies -8 | Top | 95-91 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 23 m | Show |
Grizzlies The Memphis Grizzlies have maintained their recent dominance of the New Orleans Pelicans this season, but it hasn't come without drama. The Grizzlies seek their eighth straight win over the visiting Pelicans when the teams continue a tight season series Wednesday in the final game for both before the All-Star break. For Memphis Monday's 112-103 win at Brooklyn saw point guard Mike Conley carried the offensive load with 32 points. It was the fourth win in five games for Memphis, which sits in sixth place in the Western Conference but just 1 1/2 games out of fourth. Conley has made 10-of-15 3-pointers while averaging 25 points during a three-game hot stretch. Memphis is expected to have starting guard Tony Allen back in the lineup after he was given a night of rest in Brooklyn. James Ennis III hit his only two shots while starting in place of Allen and veteran reserve Vince Carter scored 14 points off the bench while making 4-of-5 3-pointers, giving him a 12-of-23 showing from beyond the arc this month. Allen registered 19 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in the previous meeting with the Pelicans. Pelicans are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. Grizzlies are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record and are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games playing on 1 days rest. Pelicans are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings. |

02-15-17 | 76ers v. Celtics -10 | Top | 108-116 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 53 m | Show |
Celtics Following a successful road trip, the Boston Celtics will put a pair of winning streaks on the line when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The Celtics, who have won three straight overall and nine in a row over the 76ers, capped a 3-1 road trip with a 111-98 win at Dallas on Monday. Isaiah Thomas stayed hot with 28 points and eight assists for Boston, which averaged 114.3 points in the three straight victories. The Celtics entered Tuesday's action two games behind first-place Cleveland in the Eastern Conference, and the Cavaliers travel to Boston twice after the All-Star break. Boston star Thomas has scored at least 20 points in 39 straight games, one shy of matching Hall of Famer John Havlicek's franchise record. Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. 76ers are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings. |

02-14-17 | Cavs -4 v. Wolves | Top | 116-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 0 m | Show |
Cavs – 4 The demands for roster upgrades for the Cleveland Cavaliers have quieted considerably with the team's play of late. The Cavaliers go for their eighth win in the last 10 games when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Cleveland's biggest win in the recent stretch was a 125-97 home triumph over Minnesota on Feb. 1 that power forward and former Timberwolves star Kevin Love missed due to back spasms, and the Cavaliers don't plan to have Love available on Tuesday, either. Love sitting out should allow recently-signed forward Derrick Williams more of a chance to impress his new teammates after he totaled 19 points on 5-of-6 shooting in his first two games with the team since signing a 10-day contract. Timberwolves SG Brandon Rush is averaging 4.8 points on 29.2 percent shooting in five games while starting in place of LaVine. James is averaging 26.8 points on 61.2 percent shooting and 11.2 assists in six games this month. Cavaliers are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 2 days rest. Timberwolves are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up win. Cavaliers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Minnesota. |
