10-28-17 | Vanderbilt v. South Carolina -6.5 | Top | 27-34 | Win | 100 | 20 h 53 m | Show |
South Carolina South Carolina looks to keep alive its slim hopes of an SEC East title when it hosts Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Gamecocks have won eight straight meetings and 22 of 26 all-time, but they had to rally from a 10-point halftime deficit for a 13-10 victory in last season's opener. Both teams are coming off bye weeks, but they’re headed in opposite directions. With a win, South Carolina would become bowl-eligible for the 13th time in 14 seasons, and it technically still is in the SEC East title race, although it needs to win at Georgia next week and get some help in the form of someone handing the Bulldogs a second conference loss. The Commodores went into SEC play riding high after a 14-7 win over Kansas State, but they’ve lost their first four conference games by an average margin of 31.5 points. Vanderbilt hasn’t beaten South Carolina since 2008. South Carolina’s defense took center stage in a 15-9 win at Tennessee two weeks ago, racking up a season-high seven sacks while surrendering only 253 total yards. The Gamecocks have been especially tough in the red zone, allowing only 12 touchdowns on 26 trips inside the 20 – tied for second in the SEC. South Carolina has held all seven opponents below their season scoring average – Vanderbilt averages 22.4 points. Commodores are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 conference games. Gamecocks are 5-1-2 ATS in their last 8 conference games. |

10-28-17 | NC State +7.5 v. Notre Dame | Top | 14-35 | Loss | -130 | 20 h 35 m | Show |
NC state Notre Dame wasn't forecast as a national title contender but the No. 10 Fighting Irish are suddenly knocking on that door as they enter Saturday's home contest against No. 15 North Carolina State. Notre Dame was unranked to start the season after going 4-8 last year but is now part of the College Football Playoff discussion after five straight victories by 20 or more points. North Carolina State is thriving as well with six consecutive victories and it features one of the nation's top defensive players in senior end Bradley Chubb, who ranks second nationally with 14 tackles for loss. Wolfpack are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. Fighting Irish are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points and are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. |

10-28-17 | Georgia -13.5 v. Florida | Top | 42-7 | Win | 100 | 19 h 29 m | Show |
Georgia The Georgia Bulldogs have been here before, building a special season with aspirations of a SEC title and maybe more on the horizon until traveling to Jacksonville, Fla., where the Florida Gators lay waste to those plans by winning another installment of the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Here comes Georgia again on Saturday, ranked third in the nation, but the Gators remain confident despite a two-game losing streak. Florida spent last week’s bye working to improve an offense that scored just 33 points in narrow losses to LSU and Texas A&M, and ranks 95th in the country in scoring offense at 23.7 points per game. The Bulldogs also were off last week and feature the nation’s 10th-best rushing offense (282.9 yards per game) and fourth-best defense (12.6 points per game). The Bulldogs’ dynamic duo of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel have combined for 1,180 yards rushing and 14 rushing touchdowns, fueling an offense that has averaged 42.5 points in four conference games. Freshman quarterback Jake Fromm has established himself as the No. 1 quarterback, passing for 326 yards and two touchdowns in a 53-28 rout of Missouri two weeks ago. The Georgia defense is giving up just 82.1 rushing yards per game and may have defensive tackle Trenton Thompson back from a knee injury this week. Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games. Gators are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss.

10-28-17 | Louisville v. Wake Forest +3 | Top | 32-42 | Win | 100 | 16 h 16 m | Show |
Wake Forest Louisville coach Bobby Petrino has made a name for himself over the years by guiding some of the more explosive passing games in college football, so he was among the many surprised last weekend when his team leaned on the running game to get a much-needed win. The Cardinals attempt to climb back to .500 in ACC action Saturday when they visit Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons welcomed back a pair of their key offensive performers in quarterback John Wolford and running back Cade Carney last weekend, but their return was not enough in a 38-24 setback at Georgia Tech. Wake Forest has lost three straight after winning its first four games and dropped six of its last seven in conference play, beginning with last season's 44-12 loss at Louisville. Wolford, who missed the team's 28-14 loss on Oct. 7 at Clemson with a left shoulder injury, threw for 252 yards versus Georgia Tech - becoming one of only three quarterbacks in school history to pass for at least 1,000 yards in four seasons - and totaled three touchdowns. Cardinals are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games in October and are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 games on fieldturf. Demon Deacons are 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss. |

10-28-17 | Oklahoma State -7 v. West Virginia | Top | 50-39 | Win | 100 | 16 h 58 m | Show |
Oklahoma state After yielding 23 unanswered fourth quarter points at winless Baylor and barely holding on for a 38-36 victory, 22nd-ranked West Virginia's defense now takes on the nation's No. 1 offense as 12th-ranked Oklahoma State visits Morgantown on Saturday afternoon. The two schools, along with Oklahoma and Iowa State, are tied for second at 3-1 in the Big 12 behind unbeaten TCU (7-0, 4-0), and a loss will likely eliminate the loser from earning one of the two spots in the Big 12 title game. Oklahoma State comes into the contest averaging 584.6 yards per game which ranks No. 1 in the nation while West Virginia is fifth (539.4). The Cowboys come in off a 13-10 overtime scare at Texas, the first time this season they were held under 41 points in a game. Quarterback Mason Rudolph, who already owns 30 school records, leads the nation in passing yards (2,650) and passing yards per game (378.6), completing 161-of-242 attempts (66.5 percent) for 19 touchdowns and four interceptions. The defense, which held Texas to just 42 yards rushing, is led by linebackers Justin Phillips and Chad Whitener while safety Ramon Richards had the game-clinching interception in overtime at Texas to go along with six tackles. Cowboys are 28-11-1 ATS in their last 40 games in October. Mountaineers are 7-21 ATS in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

10-27-17 | Dodgers v. Astros UNDER 8 | Top | 3-5 | Push | 0 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
Dodgers/Astros under The Houston Astros emerged victorious in an epic Game 2 and now look to take a 2-1 lead when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers for Game 3 of the World Series on Friday. The teams combined for a World Series-record eight home runs on Wednesday, with George Springer's two-run blast in the 11th inning being the biggest in the Astros' come-from-behind 7-6 road win. Houston carries the momentum home after the comeback triumph and has made the decision to close the roof on Minute Maid Park for Friday's game, assuring that crowd noise will play a role in the festivities. Darvish has fanned 14 batters in 11 1/3 innings this postseason to improve to 2-2 with a 3.52 ERA in four career playoff starts. The 31-year-old from Japan fared well at Minute Maid Park during his tenure with Texas, going 4-1 with a 2.16 ERA and 0.74 WHIP in six career outings. McCullers, who has posted a 2.33 ERA in four playoff appearances (two starts), is making his second start this postseason and has recorded 13 strikeouts in as many innings. The 24-year-old took a shutout into the seventh frame of Game 4 of the American League Championship Series before allowing a homer by New York Yankees rookie slugger Aaron Judge but has been mesmerizing hitters with a steady diet of curveballs. Under is 6-1-1 in Dodgers last 8 road games. Under is 8-1 in Astros last 9 home games vs. a right-handed starter. Under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Houston. |

10-26-17 | Pelicans -1.5 v. Kings | Top | 114-106 | Win | 100 | 11 h 24 m | Show |
Pelicans DeMarcus Cousins is returning to Sacramento to face his former team, but he could be without his star teammate. The New Orleans Pelicans got some good news on the injury front but could be missing Anthony Davis in the short term when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. Davis left Tuesday's 103-93 loss at Portland five minutes into the first quarter with a knee injury and underwent an MRI that came back clean, leaving his status as day-to-day, but he is doubtful tonight. The Kings are returning home after a three-game road trip and handed the Phoenix Suns their first win of the season with a 117-115 decision on Monday. The biggest piece coming back to Sacramento in the deal that sent Cousins away last winter was shooting guard Buddy Hield, who is shooting 35.8 percent from the floor and was limited to 17 minutes despite starting on Monday. Cousins' attitude and inability to connect with coaches and teammates hastened his exit from Sacramento, but he doesn't seem to be having those issues in New Orleans. Cousins collected 37 points and 13 rebounds in his first game against Sacramento - a 117-89 New Orleans win on March 31. Pelicans are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. Kings are 15-37-1 ATS in their last 53 games playing on 2 days rest. Pelicans are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings. |

10-26-17 | Dolphins +3 v. Ravens | Top | 0-40 | Loss | -112 | 7 h 19 m | Show |
Dolphins Journeyman Matt Moore is fresh off a brilliant comeback performance and now will serve as the starting quarterback when the Miami Dolphins visit the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. Moore came off the bench after Jay Cutler suffered multiple cracked ribs on Sunday to rally Miami from a 14-point deficit and record a 31-28 victory over the New York Jets. Moore threw two touchdown passes during a 17-point fourth quarter and brings a more boisterous approach than the introverted Cutler, who could miss multiple contests. Miami has won three straight games, so it is experiencing better times than the Ravens, who have allowed an average of 27.6 points while losing four of their last five contests. Running back Jay Ajayi (442 yards) is saddled with a 3.5-yard average that is well below the 4.9 mark of last season's breakthrough campaign, but he will have a shot at posting his third 100-yard performance of the year against a Baltimore squad that ranks last in the NFL in rushing defense (145.3 yards per game). Moore will try to pump life into a sagging offense that ranks 31st in scoring (15.3 points) and dead last in total offense (261.8 yards) as well as try to make a downfield threat out of receiver Jarvis Landry, who is averaging just 8.1 yards on 45 receptions. Defensive end Cameron Wake has recorded six sacks after posting 2.5 against the Jets. Dolphins are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games in Week 8. Ravens are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Underdog is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings. |
|||||||
10-25-17 | Raptors +12 v. Warriors | Top | 112-117 | Win | 100 | 11 h 45 m | Show |
Raptors After an uneven start to the season, the Golden State Warriors finally started looking like the defending champions in a 133-103 thrashing of the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. The Warriors will try to maintain that level of play when they host the host the Toronto Raptors in the opener of a three-game homestand on Wednesday. Golden State dropped two of its first three games and was struggling on the defensive end before holding the Mavericks to 39.6 percent shooting in Monday's win. The Raptors promise to be a much tougher team to guard and began their six-game road trip with a 101-97 loss at San Antonio on Monday. Toronto is restructuring its offense a bit this season to encourage more shooting and ball movement, and it struggled to 10-of-37 from 3-point range against the Spurs. Warriors are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Atlantic. To many points to pass up. |
|||||||
10-25-17 | Wolves v. Pistons -105 | Top | 101-122 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show |
Pistons The Minnesota Timberwolves will try to rebound from an ugly home loss when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. Two days after an impressive win at Oklahoma City, the Timberwolves returned home to sustain a 130-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, allowing the Pacers to shoot a franchise-record 66.7 percent from the floor and getting outscored 69-46 after halftime. Andrew Wiggins had at least 21 points in each of the first three games this season before he was held to seven in Tuesday's loss, his lowest total since he had the same result Nov. 19 at Memphis. Shabazz Muhammad started in place of Butler and had 14 points, but he was part of a starting unit that went 0-for-6 from 3-point range and 5-for-12 from the foul line. Harris mentioned a lack of energy early in the loss to the 76ers and Detroit has been outscored by nine points in the first quarter in each of its last two games, a scenario that has coach Stan Van Gundy reconsidering his rotation. Harris averaged 24.3 points over the first three games of the season before being held to 11 against Philadelphia. Detroit has won four straight meetings. |
|||||||
10-24-17 | Jazz +4.5 v. Clippers | Top | 84-102 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 28 m | Show |
Jazz The Utah Jazz defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in a seven-game playoff series last season but both teams saw a star player leave as they meet for the first time this season on Tuesday in Salt Lake City. Clippers point guard Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets after the first-round series loss while Jazz small forward Gordon Hayward departed as a free agent to sign with the Boston Celtics. Los Angeles has turned things over to Blake Griffin and the power forward scored 29 points in each of his team's first two games while collecting an average of 10 rebounds. Utah figures to rely more on center Rudy Gobert, who posted three consecutive double-doubles to open the season after recording 58 last season. Four players average between 14 and 15 points for the Jazz, including new point guard Ricky Rubio (14.7 points, 8.3 assists). ABOUT THE JAZZ (2-1): Veteran Joe Ingles has been the recipient of extra playing time due to the departure of Hayward and he is averaging 14.7 points while making 12-of-19 3-point shot attempts. The 30-year-old Australian averaged 7.1 points as a reserve last season and has made at least three 3-pointers in each game, including five in Saturday's 96-87 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (2-0): New starting point guard Milos Teodosic suffered a plantar fascia injury in his left foot during Saturday's win over the Phoenix Suns and will be sidelined indefinitely. The 30-year-old Serbian was a six-time All-EuroLeague selection, and tough-nosed Patrick Beverley (12.5 points, 3.5 steals) will pick up some of the ball-handling duties while Austin Rivers will move into the starting lineup. Jazz are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 road games. Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. |

10-24-17 | Astros +157 v. Dodgers | Top | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 28 m | Show |
Astros The Los Angeles Dodgers haven't won a World Series since 1988, while the Houston Astros have never been crowned champions in their 56-season history. The teams begin their attempts to end their respective droughts when Los Angeles ace Clayton Kershaw pitches against Houston's Dallas Keuchel in Game 1 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers are in the World Series for the first time since their memorable 1988 slaying of the Oakland Athletics, a series best known for limping Kirk Gibson's decisive Game 1 homer. The Astros lost to the Chicago White Sox in the 2005 World Series and this season's 101-win squad knocked out the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees to reach the Series. The Dodgers, who won 104 regular-season games, rolled through the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs with standout third baseman Justin Turner excelling by going 12-for-31 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in the eight games. PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros LH Dallas Keuchel (2-1, 2.60 ERA) vs. Dodgers LH Clayton Kershaw (2-0, 3.63 ERA) Keuchel has struck out 25 in 17 1/3 innings over three starts this October and is a solid 4-1 with a 2.59 ERA in six career postseason appearances (five starts). The 29-year-old former Cy Young Award winner scanned the Dodgers' lineup and had no trouble anointing it as the best he'll face all season. "Just seems like production top to bottom, even some of their extra guys, has been there all year," Keuchel said at his Monday press conference. "They are going to be the deepest team we played, hands down. My job is to go out there and get the job done." Kershaw has served up six homers in three starts this postseason but his career ledger has improved to 6-7 with a 4.40 ERA in 21 appearances (17 starts). The 29-year-old three-time Cy Young winner is 3-2 with a 2.38 ERA in eight career starts against the Astros and has experienced struggles with Astros star second baseman Jose Altuve (6-for-15, four doubles). "He hits everything pretty well. I think he's super aggressive but at the same time he hits a lot of pitches," Kershaw said of Altuve during his Monday press conference. "... He's a tough out. I think he's one of the toughest outs in the game. You just can't give in to him." Astros are 6-0 in their last 6 interleague road games vs. a left-handed starter. Dodgers are 5-11 in their last 16 vs. American League West. Astros are 5-2 in the last 7 meetings. |
|||||||
10-22-17 | Saints -4 v. Packers | Top | 26-17 | Win | 100 | 26 h 7 m | Show |
Saints Aaron Rodgers is sidelined with a broken collarbone, and that leaves all eyes on quarterback Brett Hundley when the Green Bay Packers host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Hundley will be making his first career start and must upgrade his play after throwing three interceptions in relief of the injured Rodgers in last Sunday's loss to Minnesota. The Saints have rattled off three straight wins after an 0-2 start, and quarterback Drew Brees sees things falling into place. Saints are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Packers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss. Saints are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |
|||||||
10-22-17 | Panthers -3 v. Bears | Top | 3-17 | Loss | -117 | 26 h 7 m | Show |
Panthers Rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky has faced tough assignments in his first two starts for the Chicago Bears, and now the opposition gets even tougher. Trubisky and the Bears host the Carolina Panthers and their excellent defense on Sunday. The Bears haven’t asked too much of Trubisky in his first two starts, as he has passed for only 241 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while primarily focusing on handing off to Jordan Howard. Leaning on the ground game might not be a viable option against the Panthers, who rank fifth in the NFL against the run and allow just 3.4 yards per carry. Carolina had a two-game winning streak snapped with a 28-23 loss to Philadelphia last week and they should bounce back nicely in this spot. Panthers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. Bears are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up win. Panthers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Chicago. |
|||||||
10-22-17 | Bucs v. Bills -3 | Top | 27-30 | Push | 0 | 26 h 6 m | Show |
Bills Two teams with issues at quarterback face off when the Buffalo Bills host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Struggling Tyrod Taylor will remain under center for the Bills but Tampa Bay is unsure who will get the call after Jameis Winston suffered a shoulder injury last week. Winston sustained a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder on a sack in last week's loss at Arizona and appears headed for a game-time decision. Ryan Fitzpatrick came off the bench and rallied for the Bucs from a huge deficit last week in a 38-33 setback. Taylor has yet to throw for more than 224 yards in any game this season and posted a career-low yards per attempt in a 20-16 loss last time out at Cincinnati. Buffalo coach Sean McDermott, however, told reporters earlier in the week that Taylor retains his full confidence. The home team has won eight of the last nine meetings in the series. Buccaneers are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game. Bills are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous game. |
|||||||
10-22-17 | Ravens v. Vikings -5.5 | Top | 16-24 | Win | 100 | 26 h 5 m | Show |
Vikings Despite an injury-riddled offensive backfield, the Minnesota Vikings are in good shape in the NFC North. The Vikings will try to win their third straight game and remain atop the division standings when they host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The Vikings seem to have found an answer to their injury woes at quarterback with Case Keenum excelling in place of Sam Bradford (knee), and Jerick McKinnon has put up big numbers in two games since rookie running back Dalvin Cook was lost for the season. Minnesota has the benefit of leaning on one of the league’s best defenses, which has been especially tough against the run. Baltimore is coming off a bad loss – 27-24 in overtime to visiting Chicago – and has plenty of problems on both sides of the ball. The teams are meeting for the first time since 2013. Baltimore’s passing game is a mess, as Joe Flacco has thrown one touchdown pass and six interceptions over the last four games and the team ranks 31st in the league in passing. Ravens are 5-14-2 ATS in their last 21 games following a straight up loss. Vikings are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games. |
|||||||
10-22-17 | Jaguars -3 v. Colts | Top | 27-0 | Win | 100 | 26 h 4 m | Show |
Jaguars With Andrew Luck sidelined, possibly for the rest of the season, Jacoby Brissett remains under center as the Indianapolis Colts host the Jacksonville Jaguars in an AFC South Division contest on Sunday. With 1,209 yards passing, Brissett has played fairly well in Luck's stead, but the former Patriot backup has thrown just three touchdown passes on the season. The Colts have also coughed up three second-half leads and have fallen into last place in the division. Jacksonville hopes to have rookie sensation Leonard Fournette in the backfield for Sunday's game. Fournette left last week's 27-17 loss to the Rams in the second half after suffering a leg injury and he has missed two practices during the week. He is expected to play. Fournette is second in the league in rushing yards with 596, behind only Kareem Hunt's 630, and his six rushing touchdowns lead the NFL. Jaguars are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss. Colts are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game. Jaguars are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

10-21-17 | USC v. Notre Dame -3.5 | Top | 14-49 | Win | 100 | 52 h 42 m | Show |
Notre Dame One of the highest-profile rivalries in college football will continue with its 91st edition Saturday when No. 16 Notre Dame hosts No. 10 USC. The Trojans won eight in a row in the series from 2002 to 2009, but haven't won two straight against the Fighting Irish since, something they can accomplish this year. USC has been tied or trailed at the start of the fourth quarter in four of six games this season. The Trojans overcame a seven-point deficit in the final quarter last week against then-No. 23 Utah before holding on for a 28-27 victory when a two-point try by the Utes failed in the final seconds. Notre Dame hasn't faced that challenge in its victories, winning those five games by an average of 28 points, but the Fighting Irish came up short in its only meeting against a ranked opponent this season, losing 20-19 to then-No. 15 Georgia on Sept. 9. Notre Dame quarterback Brandon Wimbush sat out his team's last game against North Carolina two weeks ago because of a right foot injury, but coach Brian Kelly said earlier this week that Wimbush is 100 percent. Notre Dame ranks ninth in the nation in turnover margin with 14 takeaways against eight turnovers. Trojans are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf. Fighting Irish are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a bye week. Favorite is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |
|||||||
10-21-17 | Michigan v. Penn State -9.5 | Top | 13-42 | Win | 100 | 52 h 35 m | Show |
Penn state No. 2 Penn State begins the most difficult portion of its schedule Saturday night when it hosts a Michigan team looking to prove it belongs among the Big Ten elites. The 15th-ranked Wolverines are enduring a sluggish stretch that includes a home loss to Michigan State and an overtime win against East Division doormat Indiana, and they hope to hang around against a dominant Nittany Lions crew that's coming off a bye week. Penn State is coming off back-to-back routs of Indiana and Northwestern, but faces a daunting three-week run that also includes visits to No. 6 Ohio State and No. 19 Michigan State. The Nittany Lions have won 14 straight regular-season games since a 49-10 loss at Ann Arbor a year ago. The Wolverines rank 11th in the Big Ten in passing offense and senior John O'Korn has struggled since taking over the starting job from the injured Wilton Speight. Wolverines are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. Nittany Lions are 10-0-2 ATS in their last 12 games on grass. Favorite is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-21-17 | Wake Forest +5.5 v. Georgia Tech | Top | 24-38 | Loss | -110 | 52 h 34 m | Show |
Wake Forest Georgia Tech is two one-point losses away from being undefeated on the season, but the Yellow Jackets enter Saturday’s home contest with Wake Forest with no time to wonder what could have been. The Yellow Jackets face a Wake Forest team that threw a scare into Clemson before having its bye last week, and Georgia Tech’s remaining schedule features matchups with the No. 8-ranked Tigers, No. 14 Virginia Tech, Virginia and No. 3 Georgia. The Demon Deacons started the season 4-0 before suffering a pair of losses to Clemson and Florida State, and begin a pivotal stretch in which Wake Forest plays three of its next four games on the road. Wolford has completed 63.2 percent of his passes this season with eight touchdowns and only one interception, while rushing for four touchdowns and 6.3 yards per carry. Redshirt freshman receiver Greg Dortch ranks second in the ACC and 19th nationally with 136 all-purpose yards per game, finishing with 156 yards against the Tigers. Wake Forest’s defense is surrendering only 16.7 points per game, third the conference and 12th in the country. Demon Deacons are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 conference games. Yellow Jackets are 9-21-2 ATS in their last 32 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Demon Deacons are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-21-17 | LSU v. Ole Miss +7.5 | Top | 40-24 | Loss | -130 | 51 h 17 m | Show |
Mississippi No. 25 LSU could be accused of playing to the level of its competition, given its two straight wins over ranked opponents following a stunning home loss to Troy. What that translates to on Saturday might depend on which Ole Miss team shows up to host the Tigers. The Rebels had lost three straight before last week’s 57-35 home win over Vanderbilt, but the offense that has flourished versus weaker opponents has struggled against tougher competition. The Rebels lead the SEC in passing (357.2 yards per game) by a wide margin and rank ninth nationally with quarterback Shea Patterson spreading the ball around to a talented receiving corps. That group includes the SEC’s leading receiver A.J. Brown, who averages 113 yards per game and has topped 100 four times. The home team has won each of the last five meetings in the series. Tigers are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. Rebels are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Underdog is 13-4 ATS in their last 17 meetings.

10-21-17 | Indiana v. Michigan State -6.5 | Top | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 48 h 33 m | Show |
Michigan state No. 19 Michigan State returns home Saturday looking to build on a pair of big road wins when it faces an Indiana squad still looking for its first victory in Big Ten play. The Spartans have won three straight, including triumphs at Michigan and Minnesota the last two weeks, while the Hoosiers are coming off a tough overtime loss to the Wolverines and face their fourth straight nationally ranked conference foe. Michigan State's running game got a big boost last week with the re-emergence of junior LJ Scott, who recorded career highs in carries (25) and rushing yards (194) after sitting out the previous game with an undisclosed injury. The Spartans also are powered by one of the top defenses in the country, ranking in the nation’s top 10 in total defense (fifth, 263.8 yards per game) and rushing defense (eighth, 93.3). Even though Indiana has played very good pass defense the last two weeks, quarterback Brian Lewerke likely will be happy to see the Hoosiers because it will mean playing in Lewerke has a plethora of receivers from which to choose and is itching to throw the ball more, and the Spartans' coaches likely will try to open it up to keep Indiana from stacking the line against the run some better weather. Spartans coach Mark Dantonio is 7-1 against Indiana, including 4-0 at home, although the loss was suffered last year in overtime. Hoosiers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. Spartans are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games. Hoosiers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 meetings in Michigan State. |

10-21-17 | Louisville v. Florida State -7 | Top | 31-28 | Loss | -100 | 44 h 0 m | Show |
Florida state Louisville announced its presence as a national championship contender in 2016 by annihilating then-No. 2 Florida State, but both teams find themselves struggling just to stay relevant in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference just over 13 months later. A pair of recent powers hovering around the .500 mark hope to improve their recent fortunes Saturday when the Cardinals visit the Seminoles. Eventual Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson accounted for five touchdowns as Louisville throttled Florida State 63-20 last September - a victory that marked the third of four straight games in which the Cardinals scored at least 59 points. While the offense has more than held up its end of the bargain this season despite not maintaining the same pace as last season's team, the defense has not after giving up at least 520 total yards for the third time in 2017 in last weekend's 45-42 home loss to Boston College. The Seminoles avoided their first 1-4 start to a season since 1975 with a 17-10 triumph at Duke. The Seminoles rank 121st in the country in scoring offense (18.2 points) and 110th in total offense (346.6 yards), but a new offensive line tweak seemed to spark them against Duke as left tackle Derrick Kelly moved to left guard while freshman Josh Ball took over at Kelly's old spot. Florida State allowed a season-low two sacks while its 84th-ranked rushing attack (144.8) churned out a season-high 228 yards on the ground, including 115 from freshman Cam Akers. Cardinals are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games in October. Seminoles are 13-4-1 ATS in their last 18 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game. |

10-21-17 | Iowa v. Northwestern +2 | Top | 10-17 | Win | 100 | 44 h 57 m | Show |
Northwestern Northwestern looks to build on its first Big Ten win when it hosts Iowa on Saturday. The Wildcats kicked off conference play with losses to No. 5 Wisconsin (33-24) and second-ranked Penn State (31-7) before rebounding with a 37-21 road victory against Maryland, and they hope to notch back-to-back wins for the first time this season by knocking off the Hawkeyes for the second time in as many years. The Hawkeyes hope to have ironed out a few wrinkles on offense during their bye week after beginning Big Ten play 1-2 for the first time since 2013. Senior running back Justin Jackson racked up a season-high 171 yards and two touchdowns in the win against Maryland to break the Wildcats' all-time rushing record previously held by Damien Anderson (4,485). Jackson needs 38 more yards to move past Anthony Davis (4,676) into eighth place on the Big Ten's career rushing list. Charlie Kuhbander was named the Big Ten's Special Teams Player of the Week after becoming the first freshman in Northwestern history to kick three field goals in a single game. Hawkeyes are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games following a ATS win. Wildcats are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in October. Home team is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-20-17 | Yankees +133 v. Astros | Top | 1-7 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 16 m | Show |
Yankees The Houston Astros left home a few days ago feeling very good about their chances to win the American League pennant and advance to the second World Series in franchise history, but returned home with a very different feeling. The Astros will try to stay alive one more day and force a decisive Game 7 of the AL Championship Series when they host the New York Yankees in Game 6 on Friday. Houston won the first two games at home but totaled only nine runs in the series after leading the majors in scoring with 896 runs during the regular season, and it is looking for more from George Springer (2-for-18 in the series) and Josh Reddick (0-for-17) at home in Game 6. The Yankees finally found their offense at home while winning all three games, and are starting to get production from Aaron Judge (4-for-9, two homers, six RBIs in the last three games) and Gary Sanchez, who drove in five runs in the last two contests. Houston is 4-for-27 with runners in scoring position in the series. Severino is hoping to go deeper into Game 6 after being lifted from Game 2 following the fourth inning, when he struggled to get loose and was hit in the wrist by a comebacker. Severino surrendered a solo home run to Carlos Correa in that outing and was strong in his lone AL Division Series appearance, yielding three runs and four hits in seven innings against Cleveland. Verlander went up against Severino in Game 2 and earned the win while hurling a 124-pitch complete game. The former AL MVP yielded one run and five hits while striking out 13 and walking one to earn his third win in as many 2017 postseason appearances. Yankees are 15-3 in Severinos last 18 starts. Road team is 4-1 in Reynolds' last 5 Friday games behind home plate vs. New York. |

10-20-17 | Jazz v. Wolves -4 | Top | 97-100 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 15 m | Show |
Timberwolves The new-look Minnesota Timberwolves stumbled out of the gate with some meager contributions from a handful of newcomers. The Utah Jazz had no such issues with a retooled roster in their opener and look to stay perfect on the young season when they visit the Timberwolves on Friday night. Playing their first game since losing longtime star Gordon Hayward to free agency, the Jazz rallied around holdover Alec Burks (16 points in 15 minutes) in a 106-96 win over Denver on Wednesday. Andrew Wiggins scored 26 points to lead Minnesota in its 107-99 loss to San Antonio and Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 and 13 rebounds. Imports Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson combined for 29 points on 11-of-29 shooting. They will have a much better night tonight. Minnesota won its home opener last season by 36 points over Memphis, the fourth-largest margin of victory in franchise history. The Jazz were just 4-15 vs. the number as a road dog last season, and they are an underdog in this game. Jazz are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. NBA Northwest. Timberwolves are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |

10-19-17 | Dodgers -155 v. Cubs | Top | 11-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 49 m | Show |
Dodgers The Chicago Cubs have won five straight games when their backs were against the wall dating to last year’s World Series, and they’ll try to make it six on Thursday. The Cubs will try to stave off elimination for a second consecutive night by defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers at home and sending the National League Championship Series back to California. Kershaw is 5-7 with a 4.57 ERA in 20 career games (16 starts) in the postseason. He split two starts against the Cubs in last year’s NLCS and allowed two runs over five innings in a no-decision in Game 1 of this matchup. Surprisingly, the ace has started only one series-clincher, throwing six scoreless frames to beat Atlanta in the 2013 NL Division Series. Quintana has been excellent in his first postseason, allowing three runs - two earned - over 11 1/3 innings in two starts and a relief appearance. He gave up two runs and two hits over five frames in Game 1 and left with the contest tied. Quintana went 5-0 with a lofty 4.76 ERA in eight turns at Wrigley Field during the regular season. If the Cubs are going to live another day, someone other than Wade Davis will have to close out Game 5, as the right-hander recorded six outs on Wednesday for his second multi-inning save of the postseason. Dodgers relievers have pitched 20 consecutive scoreless innings and given up only three hits in the series. Dodgers are 6-1 in their last 7 playoff games. Cubs are 4-11 in their last 15 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and are 0-4 in their last 4 games following a win. The Dodgers move on to the World Series! |

10-18-17 | Hornets v. Pistons -3 | Top | 90-102 | Win | 100 | 4 h 44 m | Show |
Pistons The Eastern Conference looks very top-loaded, with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards again expected to leave the rest of the teams in the dust. The Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Hornets, who open their respective seasons against each other in the inaugural NBA regular season game at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit on Wednesday, are trying to join the party after both missing out on the postseason last spring. The Pistons looked like playoff contenders at times in 2016-17 but were hurt by injuries to point guard Reggie Jackson and some growing pains from star center Andre Drummond, who is taking on a bigger role in the offense. The Pistons brought in SG Avery Bradley in a trade from Boston over the summer and will start him in the backcourt. The Pistons took three of the four meetings last season, including both in Detroit. Hornets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference. Favorite is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. |

10-18-17 | Astros v. Yankees +104 | Top | 0-5 | Win | 104 | 6 h 11 m | Show |
Yankees The New York Yankees will take another crack at Houston Astros ace Dallas Keuchel when the teams tangle in a critical Game 5 of their American League Championship Series at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. A two-run seventh inning and four-run eighth propelled New York to a stirring 6-4 comeback victory in Game 4 on Tuesday, knotting the best-of-seven matchup at two wins apiece. Slugger Aaron Judge, limited to one single in seven at-bats in back-to-back losses at Houston, is 3-for-6 with five RBIs in the two games in the Bronx after beginning the comeback with a solo homer and delivering the game-tying RBI double in the eighth. Judge has collected nine RBIs in five home games during the playoffs and zero in five contests on the road. PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros LH Dallas Keuchel (2-0, 0.71 ERA) vs. Yankees RH Masahiro Tanaka (1-1, 1.38) Keuchel is 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA in five career postseason games (four starts) and struck out 10 Yankees in the series-opening win. Both of this year's playoff outings have taken place at home, but the 2015 AL Cy Young Award winner was much more human on the road during the regular season - going 5-5 with a 4.24 ERA and allowing opponents to produce a .720 OPS, compared to .513 at home. Keuchel's last appearance away from home in the playoffs was in relief in Game 5 of the ALDS in 2015, when he was tagged for three runs in one inning. Like Keuchel, Tanaka has had better fortune at home, and he finished the regular season by going 5-1 with a 1.29 ERA over a six-start stretch at Yankee Stadium. The 28-year-old has given up two runs and seven hits - no home runs - over 13 innings this postseason. New York has won 18 of its last 21 games at home dating back to the regular season. |

10-17-17 | Dodgers v. Cubs -107 | Top | 6-1 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 39 m | Show |
Yankees The New York Yankees woke up offensively just in time on their home field and hope to build on a big night when the Houston Astros visit for Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Tuesday. The Yankees managed only two runs while losing the first two games but exploded for eight runs in the first four innings on Monday before going on to post a critical 8-1 triumph. Sonny Gray will try to help the Yankees even the series and keep Jose Altuve under control as the AL batting champion is 11-for-30 lifetime against him and hitting .481 with three homers in the postseason. Houston will counter with Lance McCullers Jr., who struck out 132 batters over 118 2/3 innings during the regular season but is looking for his first victory since June 24. The Astros, who led the majors in several offensive categories this campaign and averaged six runs along with 12.3 hits in the AL Division Series, have managed five runs and 15 hits over the first three games against the Yankees. The Yankees' bullpen has limited opponents to a .162 batting average while posting a 2.13 ERA in the postseason despite giving up a ninth-inning run in Game 3. Astros are 1-7 in McCullers last 8 starts. Yankees are 4-0 in their last 4 home playoff games. |

Yankees The margin of error in the first two games of the American League Championship Series was razor thin, with the Houston Astros managing to come out on top in each contest to take a commanding lead in the best-of-seven matchup. The New York Yankees will try to turn the tide in their favor when they host Game 3 on Monday. PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros RH Charlie Morton (0-0, 4.15 ERA) vs. Yankees LH CC Sabathia (0-0, 3.72) Astros are 2-5 in their last 7 League Championship road games. 10-15-17 | Steelers v. Chiefs -4 | Top | 19-13 | Loss | -105 | 28 h 20 m | Show |
Chiefs – 4 The Pittsburgh Steelers were the last team to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, and they’ll try to do it again when the teams meet Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs, who were ousted from last year’s playoffs with an 18-16 home loss to the Steelers, are the lone unbeaten team remaining in the NFL. Kansas City’s offense has been far more effective through five games in 2017, ranking second in the NFL in total offense and leading the league in scoring. The Steelers have lost two of three, including an ugly 30-9 setback against Jacksonville last week in which Ben Roethlisberger threw five interceptions. Pittsburgh has struggled a bit on offense despite boasting a star running back in Le’Veon Bell and the league’s leading receiver in Antonio Brown, who has recorded three 100-yard performances already this season. Brown’s likely matchup with Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters will be a key, as will the Steelers’ ability to give Roethlisberger time against Kansas City's strong pass rush. The Steelers have had the best pass defense in the league, but they rank 28th against the run. Kansas City’s offense is running smoothly with Alex Smith at the helm and surrounded by a wealth of weapons. Rookie running back Kareem Hunt leads the league in rushing (609 yards) and scrimmage yards (775) and has scored six touchdowns, while receiver Tyreek Hill is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Steelers are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Chiefs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Steelers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Kansas City. |

10-15-17 | Chargers +4 v. Raiders | Top | 17-16 | Win | 100 | 28 h 19 m | Show |
Chargers +4 The Oakland Raiders are expected to have their star quarterback on the field Sunday as they attempt to halt a three-game slide when they host the AFC West-rival Los Angeles Chargers. Derek Carr is slated to return after missing just one game due to a transverse process fracture in his back as Oakland still plans to host the contest despite an unhealthy level of air quality caused by the devastating wildfires in the Bay Area. Carr was injured in the Raiders' 16-10 loss at Denver on Oct. 1 but had a miserable showing in a 27-10 setback at Washington the previous week, completing 19-of-31 passes for only 118 yards and a touchdown while throwing his first two interceptions of the season. Los Angeles is coming off a 27-22 road win over the New York Giants after beginning the campaign with four straight losses, although three of the defeats were by a combined seven points. Los Angeles is hoping for another strong performance from Melvin Gordon, who was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 105 yards on 20 carries and making six catches for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns versus the Giants. The 24-year-old, who is tied for the league lead among running backs with three receiving TDs, gained a total of 114 yards on 36 rushes over his previous three games. Philip Rivers has excelled in Oakland of late, passing for 949 yards and eight touchdowns with only two interceptions in his last three visits. Los Angeles LB Melvin Ingram (7.5) and DE Joey Bosa have combined for 12 sacks, the most in the league among two teammates. Chargers are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 road games. Raiders are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Underdog is 14-2 ATS in their last 16 meetings.

10-15-17 | Rams +2.5 v. Jaguars | Top | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 28 h 0 m | Show |
Rams + 2.5 The Jacksonville Jaguars are beginning to make believers with their swarming defense that recorded an eye-opening 10 sacks in the season opener and picked off Ben Roethlisberger five times in a 30-9 win at Pittsburgh last week. The Jaguars will look to slow down Jared Goff and the visiting Los Angeles Rams, who lead the NFC in scoring, when the two teams meet on Sunday. The Rams will look to run the ball with Todd Gurley against the Jaguars' suspect rushing defense, which ranks second to last in the NFL. Gurley leads the league with seven touchdowns, four of which have come on the ground. Goff has thrown for an average of 272 passing yards per game with seven touchdowns and just three interceptions. Rams are 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 games in Week 6. Jaguars are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 14 points. Rams are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

10-15-17 | Browns v. Texans -9 | Top | 17-33 | Win | 100 | 25 h 56 m | Show |
Texans – 9 The Houston Texans couldn't be more thrilled with the way their rookie quarterback is performing while the Cleveland Browns have already benched their latest quarterback of the future. The Browns will turn to Kevin Hogan under center when they visit the Texans on Sunday. Winless Cleveland started rookie DeShone Kizer at quarterback in each of the first five games but benched him in favor of Hogan during a 17-14 loss to the New York Jets last week. The Browns will give the starting job to Hogan, a second-year player out of Stanford, for Week 6. Houston rookie DeShaun Watson, who was passed over in the draft by Cleveland, became the first rookie in NFL history with five total touchdowns in back-to-back games when he threw five TD passes against the Chiefs last week. Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins hauled in three TD receptions last week and has five on the season, one more than his 16-game total from 2016. Browns are 0-9 ATS in their last 9 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game and are 5-23 ATS in their last 28 games following a straight up loss. Texans are 19-6-2 ATS in their last 27 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game. Browns are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings. |

10-15-17 | Packers -3 v. Vikings | Top | 10-23 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 56 m | Show |
Packers – 3 Aaron Rodgers has done a masterful job masking what ails the Green Bay Packers, as the two-time NFL MVP continues to throw touchdowns passes despite several moving parts in the offensive line and backfield. Rodgers may see the return of several key cogs as the Packers vie for their fourth straight victory on Sunday when they visit the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. Rodgers earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after he capped a three-touchdown performance with a 12-yard scoring strike to Davante Adams in last week's 35-31 come-from-behind victory at Dallas. Under Rodgers' watch, Green Bay ranks fourth in the NFL in points scored (26.2), third in third-down conversions (48.4 percent) and first in red zone efficiency (78.9 percent). Minnesota has seen a revolving door at quarterback of late as Case Keenum likely will be under center with Sam Bradford sitting out practice this week after aggravating his knee injury in Monday's 20-17 win at Chicago. Keenum completed 17 of 21 passes for just 140 yards in relief last week and likely will make his fourth start of the season on Sunday. Packers WR Jordy Nelson collected 14 receptions for 227 yards and three touchdowns in two contests last season versus the Vikings. Packers are 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games in October. Vikings are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC North. |

10-14-17 | Michigan State -4 v. Minnesota | Top | 30-27 | Loss | -110 | 53 h 19 m | Show |
Michigan State – 4 No. 22 Michigan State is ranked for the first time this season and will look to keep its momentum moving forward when it visits Minnesota for a Big Ten matchup on Saturday. The Spartans are coming off an upset at then-No. 7 Michigan, while the Golden Gophers return home after a second straight last-minute loss at Purdue. Coach Mark Dantonio has his team back in the title hunt in the Big Ten thanks to a defense that has allowed 14 or fewer points in four of its five contests while ranking second in the country in pass efficiency defense and fourth in total defense (258.6 yards per game). Offensively, sophomore quarterback Brian Lewerke has been outstanding, leading the team in passing (1,057 yards, nine touchdowns) and rushing (309, three) and ranking third in the conference in total offense (273.2 yards per game). Minnesota has been tied or in the lead in the last five minutes of its two conference losses, so coach P.J. Fleck isn’t panicking and will stay with Conor Rhoda (786 yards, five TDs) at quarterback. Injuries have hurt the Golden Gophers in recent weeks, and Fleck will have to replace four sidelined starters – three on defense – for this week’s game. Michigan State had a turnover margin of minus-6 through the first three games of the season but is plus-7 over its last two contests without a single turnover by the offense. Spartans are 18-6-2 ATS in their last 26 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Golden Gophers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games. Road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

10-14-17 | Utah +13 v. USC | Top | 27-28 | Win | 100 | 53 h 53 m | Show |
Utah + 13 Five of the six teams in the Pac-12 South Division have one loss and two will meet up Saturday when No. 13 USC hosts No. 23 Utah at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Stanford moved to No. 25 in the coaches' poll after handing the Utes their first loss of the season last weekend, while the Trojans bounced back from their only defeat two weeks ago against No. 9 Washington State by defeating Oregon State on Saturday. Troy Williams led Utah to nine wins last season, including a 31-27 victory against visiting USC, but the Los Angeles-area native lost the starting quarterback job this season to sophomore Tyler Huntley, who hasn't played since suffering a shoulder injury against Arizona on Sept. 22. Williams was back in the starting lineup last weekend against Stanford, but was intercepted twice late in the game to spoil the comeback, and coach Kyle Whittingham wasn't ready to commit to a starter against the Trojans earlier this week. USC has also been dinged by injuries, particularly at wide receiver and the offensive line, but starters are beginning to filter back and the Trojans still have their best two offensive weapons in quarterback Sam Darnold and running back Ronald Jones II. Darnold, who made his first career start against the Utes last season, has been steady but not as spectacular as many envisioned heading into this season. The Utes have a difference maker on defense in linebacker Sunia Tauteoli, who recorded 11 tackles in last week's loss to Stanford, including 3 1/2 for losses. He's not only big, fast and athletic, but the 26-year-old is more mature physically and mentally than most of his opponents. Utes are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Trojans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win. |

10-14-17 | Purdue +17 v. Wisconsin | Top | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 48 h 21 m | Show |
Purdue + 17 Wisconsin might already have passed the most difficult test on its Big Ten West schedule, but bigger goals remain. The sixth-ranked Badgers will try to stay undefeated and stay on course for a spot in the Big Ten championship game when they host Purdue on Saturday. The Boilermakers are on the uptick under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm and own a defense strong enough to overcome four turnovers from the offense in a 31-17 win over Minnesota last week. Purdue is no stranger to top-level competition and will be playing its third top-20 opponent this season against the Badgers after home losses to Louisville and Michigan. Wisconsin's defense and running game are top-notch but my feeling is Purdue can and will keep this one close. Take the points. Boilermakers are 9-1-2 ATS in their last 12 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 12-3-2 ATS in their last 17 road games. |

10-14-17 | Auburn -7 v. LSU | Top | 23-27 | Loss | -105 | 48 h 18 m | Show |
Auburn – 7 Auburn couldn't have asked for a better start to its conference schedule - but the real test begins this weekend, as the No. 11 Tigers kick off a three-game road trip with a visit to LSU. Auburn has racked up 144 points in three games to open SEC play, and will look for a similarly dominant offensive showing against an LSU team ranked inside the top 30 in points allowed per game. Auburn's latest triumph - a 44-23 rout of Ole Miss - saw the Tigers rack up 561 yards of total offense while breaking out to a 35-3 halftime lead and cruising from there. LSU’s Etling has thrown six touchdowns against just one interception in 2017, will need to be at his best against an Auburn pass defense limiting opponents to just 176.3 yards per game - 20th-fewest in Division I. Etling has exceeded 200 passing yards just once in six games this season. Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham leads the SEC in completion percentage (71.2) and yards per attempt (9.7). Auburn is 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games in October. LSU is 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. |

10-14-17 | Northwestern -3 v. Maryland | Top | 37-21 | Win | 100 | 48 h 12 m | Show |
Northwestern – 3 A pair of Big Ten teams looking to rebound from blowout losses meet Saturday afternoon when Northwestern visits Maryland. The Terrapins won their conference opener at Minnesota before suffering a 62-14 loss at Ohio State last week while amassing only 66 yards - their lowest total since 1960. Max Bortenschlager, who was bumped into the starting role after injuries to the team's top two quarterbacks, had a grand total of 16 yards and was sacked more times (five) than he had completions (three). Bortenschlager was forced from the game after a hard hit in the third quarter and remains day-to-day, according to head coach DJ Durkin, which could give a start to preseason fourth-stringer Caleb Henderson. The Wildcats had three turnovers and junior quarterback Clayton Thorson continued to struggle in last week's 31-7 home loss to Penn State. Saturday will mark the first meeting between Northwestern and Maryland, which joined the Big Ten in 2014. Head coach Pat Fitzgerald cites issues along the offensive line as the primary culprit for the Big Ten's 11th-ranked scoring offense (25.6 points) but it is improving. Wildcats are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games. Terrapins are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. |

10-14-17 | Michigan -7 v. Indiana | Top | 27-20 | Push | 0 | 45 h 42 m | Show |
Michigan – 7 No. 16 Michigan looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season when it hits the road to face Indiana on Saturday. The Wolverines turned the ball over five times and were held to 300 total yards in the disappointing 14-10 defeat to 22nd-ranked Michigan State, and they hope to kickstart a moribund offense that's been hobbled by a porous offensive line that ranks 118th nationally in sacks allowed (3.2) and 115th in tackles for loss allowed (7.6) per game. Michigan has dominated the series with the Hoosiers for the past three decades, winning the last 21 meetings, including nine straight in Bloomington, and the Wolverines aim to get back on track in their quest for their first Big Ten title since 2004. Indiana bounced back from a 45-14 loss to third-ranked Penn State by blanking FCS outfit Charleston Southern 27-0, which was the Hoosiers' first shutout in 24 years. Michigan leads the nation in total defense (213 yards per game). Look for Indiana to have problem on offense all day. Wolverines are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS loss. Hoosiers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. |

10-13-17 | Washington State -15 v. California | Top | 3-37 | Loss | -110 | 31 h 10 m | Show |
Washington State – 15 Off to its first 6-0 start since 2001, No. 9 Washington State looks to avoid a letdown Friday on the road against a California team that has lost three in a row. The Cougars are tied with Washington atop the Pac-12 North standings following back-to-back wins over USC and Oregon, while Cal is looking to regroup after being held to 93 yards of total offense in last Saturday’s 38-7 loss to the Huskies. Quarterback Luke Falk has thrown for 19 touchdowns with just two interceptions for Washington State, which played its first road game last Saturday and held Oregon almost 40 points under its season average in a 33-10 win over the Ducks. Known for their Air Raid offense, the Cougars have been just as impressive on defense, ranking sixth in the nation in passing defense (allowing 146.3 yards per game), tied for seventh in sacks (3.5 per game) and eighth in passing efficiency defense (99.97). The numbers don’t bode well for a Cal team that has been outscored by an average of 20.7 points in losses to USC, Oregon and Washington. Cal leads the all-time series 46-27-5, but Washington State posted a 56-21 victory in Pullman last season. Cougars are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS win. Golden Bears are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Cougars are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings in California. |

10-13-17 | Yankees v. Astros OVER 8 | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
Yankees/Astros over The New York Yankees already stared down four elimination games in the postseason and knocked off the American League's top seed with a Game 5 victory over the Cleveland Indians in the AL Division Series on Wednesday, and things are not getting any easier. The Yankees will try to avoid falling into another quick hole when they visit the Houston Astros for Game 1 of the AL Championship Series on Friday night. PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Masahiro Tanaka (1-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Astros LH Dallas Keuchel (1-0, 1.59) Tanaka gets the Game 1 nod after putting together the best start for New York in the ALDS - a seven-inning effort in Game 3 in which he scattered three hits and struck out seven without allowing a run. The Japan native is enjoying a string of 14 consecutive scoreless frames going back to the regular season and owns 22 strikeouts in that span. Tanaka suffered through his worst start of the season against Houston on May 14, when he was roughed up for eight runs and seven hits - four homers - in 1 2/3 innings. Keuchel gets the Game 1 nod after Justin Verlander was used for four innings of relief in the clinching game of the ALDS in Boston. The 29-year-old Keuchel started Game 2 of the ALDS and breezed through 5 2/3 frames, striking out seven while allowing one run, to make it four starts in a row surrendering two or fewer runs going back to the regular season. The Astros took five of the seven meetings during the regular season, including two of three at home. The first two meetings this season finished UNDER the total, but the final five matchups sailed OVER the total, as the winning team scored at least seven runs each time. Over is 12-5-3 in Yankees last 20 playoff road games and is 5-0 in Tanakas last 5 road starts. Over is 6-1-1 in Keuchels last 8 starts after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game and is 5-2 in Astros last 7 playoff home games. Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Houston. |

10-12-17 | Cubs -105 v. Nationals | Top | 9-8 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
Cubs With an assist from the weather, the Washington Nationals have forced a winner-take-all matchup against the visiting Chicago Cubs on Thursday in their National League Division Series. Stephen Strasburg’s stellar start in Washington’s 5-0 win in Game 4 on Wednesday sent the series back to the nation’s capital and left the Nationals with plenty of flexibility with their pitching staff. PITCHING MATCHUP: Cubs RH Kyle Hendricks (1-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. TBA Hendricks outdueled Strasburg in Game 1, allowing two hits and three walks while registering six strikeouts over seven scoreless innings. The 27-year-old has gotten the ball for the Cubs’ last two series clinchers – Game 6 of last year’s NL Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Game 7 of the World Series versus Cleveland. He is 2-1 with a 1.98 ERA in eight postseason starts. Baker told reporters after Game 4 he is “not sure yet” who will start on Thursday and his decision will be based on who is the best fit but now Gonzalez will start. He allowed three runs and three hits over five innings in Game 2 as the Nationals got him off the hook with a late rally. Roark, who will be first up to pitch if Gonzalez struggles has not started since Sept. 27 and gave up eight runs in 5 2/3 frames over his last two regular-season appearances (one start). Cubs are 6-1 in Hendricks' last 7 starts vs. National League East and are 8-2 in Hendricks' last 10 starts after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. Nationals are 5-13 in Gonzalezs last 18 starts vs. National League Central. Nationals are 1-4 in Gonzalezs last 5 starts vs. Cubs. |

10-11-17 | Nationals v. Cubs -111 | Top | 5-0 | Loss | -111 | 2 h 51 m | Show |
Cubs The Chicago Cubs gave Jake Arrieta a few extra days to rest his tender hamstring, and with the rain out yesterday now he’s in a position to help get the team back to the National League Championship Series. Arrieta gets the ball in Game 4 of the NL Division Series on Tuesday as the Cubs look to close out the visiting Washington Nationals. Anthony Rizzo’s bloop single in the eighth inning plated the go-ahead run Monday as the Cubs posted a 2-1 victory in Game 3 to regain the series lead. Arrieta can close it out as he makes his first start since Sept. 26, and the 2015 NL Cy Young Award winner says his nagging right hamstring injury is a “non-issue.” He hopes to follow the rest of Chicago's starting rotation, which has allowed two runs - one earned - in 18 2/3 innings over the first three games of the series. Cubs RHP Wade Davis improved to 6-for-6 in save opportunities in the postseason with Monday’s save and has posted a 0.79 ERA in 25 career playoff games. Nationals are 1-4 in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning record. Cubs are 8-2 in their last 10 Divisional Playoff games and are 5-0 in Arrietas last 5 starts during game 4 of a series. |

10-08-17 | Chiefs v. Texans +1 | Top | 42-34 | Loss | -110 | 33 h 50 m | Show |
Texans + 1 The NFL's lone unbeaten team at the quarter pole, the Kansas City Chiefs put their perfect record on the line when they visit the Houston Texans and rookie sensation Deshaun Watson on Sunday night. It will mark a short turnaround for Kansas City, which needed a last-second field goal to edge the Washington Redskins on Monday night. The Texans have been a different team since handing the keys to the offense to Watson, who accounted for five touchdowns in last week's 57-14 demolition of visiting Tennessee, but star defensive lineman J.J. Watt cautioned against getting carried away by the performance. Quarterback Alex Smith has played superbly for the Chiefs, who have scored at least 21 second-half points in three of their four victories, but is wary of the challenge presented by Houston. Watson, who guided Clemson to the national championship in January, threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for another score to earn AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. DeAndre Hopkins is Watson's favorite target with 31 receptions, but fellow wideout Will Fuller returned from injury to make a splashy debut against the Titans with a pair of touchdowns among his four catches. Running back Lamar Miller scored his first two touchdowns of the season last week, piling up 131 yards from scrimmage, while rookie D'Onta Foreman provides a solid complement. Texas ranks fifth overall in yards surrendered (291.5). Houston's 19-12-win last season ended a three-game losing streak in the series, including a playoff rout in January 2016. Chiefs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game. Texans are 19-6-2 ATS in their last 27 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

10-08-17 | Packers +2.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 35-31 | Win | 100 | 29 h 47 m | Show |
Packers + 2.5 The Dallas Cowboys dominated Green Bay in mid-October a year ago, but the Packers avenged that loss with much higher stakes three months later in the playoffs. The Cowboys will be out to avenge that loss -- their second postseason defeat in three years to Green Bay -- when the clubs square off on Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Texas. The Cowboys have a more recent memory to purge after blowing an 11-point lead in 35-30 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams last weekend to fall to 2-2 on the season. That's the only history that concerns Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy, who is dealing with key injuries at running back and wide receiver. Green Bay has had 10 days to recover following a 35-14 blowout win over Chicago, a game in which it lost running backs Ty Montgomery (broken ribs) and Jamaal Williams (knee) along with wideout Davante Adams (concussion) to injuries. Montgomery practiced with chest protection while Adams is in the league's concussion protocol, but Aaron Rodgers overcame their absences by throwing for four touchdowns as the Packers improved to 3-0 at home. Despite a quadriceps injury that knocked him out of a Week 2 loss at Atlanta, wideout Jordy Nelson has five touchdowns and 17 receptions in his three other games. Green Bay ranks fifth in the league against the pass at 188.5 yards per game. Running back Ezekiel Elliott led the NFL with 1,631 yards rushing in 2016, helping Dallas rank No. 2 in the league (149.8), but the ground game's output has dipped to 114.3 despite Elliott receiving at least 20 carries in three of the four games. Prescott has thrown eight touchdown passes, including three in last week's loss, but his three interceptions are one shy of his total from his stellar rookie campaign. Star wideout Dez Bryant is off to a slow start with a pair of two-catch games, although he had five receptions for a season-high 98 yards against the Rams. Dallas ranks 20th against the pass (231.8 yards). Packers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games on fieldturf. Cowboys are 1-7 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Packers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-08-17 | Seahawks v. Rams OVER 47.5 | Top | 16-10 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 28 m | Show |
Seahawks/Rams over 47.5 It's been a long time since the Los Angeles Rams were on top of the NFC West, staring down at the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks will try to draw even in the division and reassert their status as the class of the NFC West when they visit the Rams on Sunday. Seattle dropped two of its first three games -- with the lone win a 12-9 home triumph over the winless San Francisco 49ers -- but seemed to finally put everything together last week in the second half of a 46-18 drubbing of the Indianapolis Colts. Los Angeles has been fun to see all season with an offense that leads the NFL in scoring at an average of 35.5 points under first-year head coach Sean McVay. Seahawks DE Cliff Avril (neck) was ruled out of Sunday's contest and could miss several weeks. Los Angeles S LaMarcus Joyner (hamstring) did not practice this week. Over is 12-5 in Seahawks last 17 vs. a team with a winning record. Over is 6-0 in Rams last 6 games on grass.

10-08-17 | Ravens v. Raiders -2.5 | Top | 30-17 | Loss | -130 | 28 h 27 m | Show |
Raiders – 2.5 The Oakland Raiders and their sputtering offense aim to avoid a third consecutive loss when they host the equally inept Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Oakland scored a total of 71 points in winning its first two games but has produced 10 in each of the last two contests - both on the road. Baltimore has been just as futile offensively of late, scoring a total of 16 points in back-to-back losses to Jacksonville and Pittsburgh. The Ravens also have struggled on the other side of the ball, allowing 70 points in the setbacks after yielding a total of 10 in victories over AFC North rivals Cincinnati and Cleveland. Joe Flacco has not performed well of late, going 39-of-67 for 263 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions over his last two games. Manuel handled himself well in relief against Denver, completing 11-of-17 passes for 106 yards before throwing an interception on a late drive to seal the loss. Ravens are 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 games in October and are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 5. Raiders are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Home team is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-08-17 | Cardinals v. Eagles -6.5 | Top | 7-34 | Win | 100 | 25 h 14 m | Show |
Eagles – 6.5 The Philadelphia Eagles are no strangers to the lofty expectations that accompany a 3-1 mark at the season's quarter pole. After seeing their impressive start in 2016 marred by losses in eight of their next 10 games, the NFC East-leading Eagles look to keep their focus on the task at hand Sunday when they host the Arizona Cardinals. LeGarrette Blount collected himself after being held without a carry in Week 2 to rumble for 203 yards on 28 carries in his last two. The bruising back had 109 of his 136 yards rushing after contact in Sunday's 26-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and aims to feed off a Cardinals club that he has gouged for 190 yards and three touchdowns in two career meetings. While Philadelphia has unearthed a rushing game that ranks third in the league, Arizona has struggled mightily to untrack its ground attack as it ranks dead last in the league at 57 yards per game. The loss of superstar David Johnson (wrist) and a patchwork offensive line has upped the workload of Carson Palmer, who is second in the league in completions (108) and tops in dropbacks (201) and attempts (183) heading into a tilt versus the Eagles. Carson Wentz has thrown 75 consecutive passes without an interception and owns an impressive 107.2 passer rating on third down. Cardinals are 4-12 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up win. Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 5. |

10-08-17 | Panthers v. Lions -2.5 | Top | 27-24 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 13 m | Show |
Lions – 2.5 Cam Newton made headlines for the wrong reasons this week, but the Carolina Panthers’ star quarterback hopes to turn the narrative back to his play on Sunday. Newton and the Panthers look to keep pace in the NFC South when they visit the Detroit Lions, who are off to a strong start of their own. Now Newton hopes to turn the spotlight back on his play after shaking off an early slump to pass for 316 yards and three touchdowns and rush for 44 yards and a score in a 33-30 win at New England last week. He will have to do it against a Lions defense that is thriving on creating turnovers, as it has forced an NFL-best 11 thus far. Detroit has been opportunistic on both sides of the ball, as it ranks 10th in scoring offense and fourth in scoring defense despite being 24th in total offense and 15th in total defense. Their plus-9 turnover margin has played a huge role in that, as veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford has shown a newfound maturity, throwing seven touchdown passes with only one interception. Running back Ameer Abdullah appears headed for a breakout campaign after rushing for a career-high 94 yards and a score in last week’s 14-7 triumph at Minnesota. Lions K Matt Prater has made an NFL-record four field goals of 55 yards or longer this season. Panthers are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win and are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. Lions are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in October. Panthers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

10-07-17 | Stanford v. Utah +4 | Top | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 31 h 24 m | Show |
Utah Utah is the unbeaten ranked team (18th in the coaches poll) playing in its homecoming game, but it’s visiting Stanford who is favored by nearly a touchdown in Saturday night’s Pac-12 matchup. Some of that is the respect national rushing leader Bryce Love quickly has earned, but much has to do with the Utes’ uncertainty at quarterback. Sophomore starter Tyler Huntley went down with a shoulder injury in the second quarter of Utah’s last game – a 30-24 win at Arizona on Sept. 22 – and was replaced by senior Troy Williams, who started all 13 of the team’s games a season ago. The Utes were fortunate to have a bye week in between, but availability of the dual-threat Huntley remains very much in question. The Utes find themselves in the early driver’s seat as the only unbeaten team in the Pac-12 South with USC and Arizona State suffering losses last weekend. After stepping in for Huntley against the Wildcats, Williams completed 9-of-18 throws for 131 yards and rushed four times for 15 yards and a TD, but whomever is under center will be looking to get the ball to wideout Darren Carrington, who has caught 30 passes and leads the conference with 121.3 receiving yards per contest. Utah will counter Love with the Pac-12’s stingiest rushing defense (87.0 yards) and will look to add more takeaways to its Pac-12-best total of 14, including nine interceptions. Cardinal are 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win. Utes are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. Utah leads the series 4-3 and has won both games against Stanford since joining the Pac-12 in 2011. |

10-07-17 | Washington State -2.5 v. Oregon | Top | 33-10 | Win | 100 | 29 h 10 m | Show |
Washington State – 2.5 Off to its first 5-0 start since 2001, No. 11 Washington State heads out on the road for the first time this season to face an injury-plagued Oregon squad on Saturday. The Ducks are averaging 49.6 points per game but could be hard-pressed to keep pace with the Cougars’ Air Raid offense without quarterback Justin Herbert, who will miss the next several weeks due to a fractured collarbone. With Herbert out, the Ducks will turn to either senior Taylor Alie or true freshman Braxton Burmeister against Washington State, which ranks 11th nationally and second in the Pac-12 in total defense (275 yards allowed per game). The Ducks bounced back from a loss to Arizona State with last Saturday’s 45-24 win over California but are dealing with injuries to key players such as Herbert and linebacker Kaulana Apelu, who fractured his ankle against the Bears and has been ruled out for the season. The Ducks are looking to snap a two-game skid against Washington State, which remained unbeaten as Erik Powell kicked a 32-yard field goal with 1:40 left for a 30-27 win over USC last week. I don’t think they can. Cougars are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS win and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Ducks are 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. Cougars are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-07-17 | Michigan State +10.5 v. Michigan | Top | 14-10 | Win | 100 | 29 h 48 m | Show |
Michigan State Seventh-ranked Michigan looks to keep its perfect record intact when it hosts Michigan State in the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy on Saturday. The Wolverines have won their first four games of the season, including a 28-10 victory against Purdue, but will be without starting quarterback Wilton Speight, who suffered a neck injury against the Boilermakers, and John O'Korn hopes to rise to the occasion by leading Michigan to back-to-back wins against the Spartans for the first time since 2006-07. The Spartans, who held the Hawkeyes to just 231 total yards, are hoping for a repeat performance against Michigan's struggling offensive line, as they strive for their fifth win in their last six visits to Ann Arbor. Michigan State’s Wide receiver Felton Davis was named the Big Ten's Co-Offensive Player of the Week after hauling in a career-high nine passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Iowa. Brian Lewerke threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns to go along with another 42 on the ground to take his season total to 248 rushing yards, which is second best among Big Ten quarterbacks. Senior running back Gerald Holmes, who has rushed for 1,120 yards and 13 touchdowns in his career, and safety Matt Morrissey were named the team captains for Saturday's clash. Spartans are 18-7-2 ATS in their last 27 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Wolverines are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week and are 9-23-1 ATS in their last 33 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. Spartans are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 meetings. Michigan State has won seven of the last nine meetings with Michigan. |

10-07-17 | Kansas State +5 v. Texas | Top | 34-40 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 20 m | Show |
Kansas State First-year Texas coach Tom Herman came in with a reputation as one of college football's top offensive minds after winning the Broyles Award as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Ohio State's 2014 national championship team. But it's been a much-improved defense that is carrying the Longhorns into Saturday night's Big 12 contest with visiting Kansas State. Senior quarterback Jesse Ertz is off to a strong start for the Wildcats, rushing for a team-high 332 yards and three touchdowns while also passing for 706 yards and five more scores. He had 78 yards rushing and two touchdowns to go along with 171 passing yards and another TD to highlight Kansas State's 24-21 win over the Longhorns last season. The defense, led by linebacker Trent Tanking (26 tackles) and tackle Will Geary (three sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss), ranks 15th nationally in scoring (15.0 points allowed) and 21st in total defense (308.5 yards). Wildcats are 35-17-1 ATS in their last 53 games in October. Longhorns are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game. Wildcats are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings. |

10-07-17 | Cubs v. Nationals UNDER 8.5 | Top | 3-6 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 18 m | Show |
Cubs/Nationals under The pressure already was on the Washington Nationals due to their previous postseason failures, and now they try to avoid an 0-2 deficit when they host the Chicago Cubs on Saturday for Game 2 of their National League Division Series. Washington recorded only two hits while being blanked 3-0 on Friday in the series opener and is two defeats away from its fourth first-round playoff exit in the last six years. PITCHING MATCHUP: Cubs LH Jon Lester (13-8, 4.33 ERA) vs. Nationals LH Gio Gonzalez (15-9, 2.96) Lester went 5-1 in September to complete an inconsistent regular season in which he served up a career-worst 26 homers. But the 33-year-old has proven to be a solid postseason pitcher - he is 9-7 with a 2.63 ERA in 22 career appearances (19 starts) - and posted a 2.84 ERA in two no-decisions against the Nationals this season. Gonzalez recorded at least 15 victories for the fourth time in his career but struggled down the stretch, losing four of his last six starts. The 32-year old, who has a 3.93 ERA in four career postseason starts (all no-decisions), lost to the Cubs in his lone meeting this season despite giving up one run and two hits in six innings. Under is 9-2 in Cubs last 11 vs. a team with a winning record and is 11-5 in Cubs last 16 overall. Under is 9-1-1 in Gonzalezs last 11 starts with 5 days of rest and is 7-1-1 in Nationals last 9 vs. a team with a winning record. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Washington. |

10-07-17 | Minnesota v. Purdue -4 | Top | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 25 h 43 m | Show |
Purdue A pair of Big Ten squads still looking for their first conference victories of the season will square off when Minnesota travels to face Purdue on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Gophers are coming off a tough home loss to Maryland, while the Boilermakers had a bye last weekend after dropping their league opener to Michigan. Boilermakers quarterback David Blough has been accurate with the football, completing 70 percent of his passes, but he also hasn't taken many chances, averaging just 11.2 yards per completion. Purdue's defense has improved this year in many areas, including turnover margin, where the Boilermakers are a plus-4 on the season after being minus-17 last year. Minnesota will likely be without its two starting safeties this week, as Antoine Winfield Jr. is slowed by a left hamstring injury and Duke McGhee remains suspended because of a violation of team rules. Boilermakers are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game and are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games in October. Favorite is 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 meetings. Golden Gophers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 meetings in Purdue. |

10-07-17 | Miami-FL -2.5 v. Florida State | Top | 24-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 41 m | Show |
Miami Originally scheduled for Sept. 16 but postponed due to Hurricane Irma, Miami and Florida State are gearing up for their annual instate showdown Saturday afternoon. The 12th-ranked Hurricanes head to Tallahassee fresh off a solid 31-6 road victory over Duke, while the Seminoles come off their first win of the season, 26-19 over Wake Forest, but still fell out of the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll. One of college football's fiercest rivalries, the Seminoles have earned bragging rights the last seven years under coach Jimbo Fisher, finding ways to pull out victories, with the last three decided by five points or less, including a 20-19 triumph a year ago thanks to a blocked extra point in the final minutes. Quarterback Malik Rosier is getting better and more confident with each game, completing 65.6 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and just two interceptions, but he and his receiving corps, led by Braxton Berrios and Ahmmon Richards, who made his debut last week, haven't faced a secondary as talented as Florida State's. The Hurricanes need a healthy Mark Walton (9.2 yards per carry), who has been hampered by an ankle injury the last two games, to keep the defense off balance but the Seminoles have been stingy against the run, especially up the middle. The Miami secondary has had its ups and downs but the unit will be greatly helped by a physical front seven that has 11 sacks and ranks second in the nation in tackles for loss (nine per game). Hurricanes are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. Seminoles are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating less than 275 total yards in their previous game. Hurricanes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Florida State.

10-06-17 | Cubs v. Nationals -150 | Top | 3-0 | Loss | -150 | 7 h 39 m | Show |
Nationals The man who took the ball to start the Chicago Cubs’ World Series clincher gets it again Friday. The Cubs send Kyle Hendricks to the mound opposite fellow right-hander Stephen Strasburg when visiting Chicago begins its quest for another crown in Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Washington Nationals. PITCHING MATCHUP: Cubs RH Kyle Hendricks (7-5, 3.03 ERA) vs. Nationals RH Stephen Strasburg (15-4, 2.52) Hendricks struggled early in the season, but he has posted an NL-best 2.19 ERA since returning from a hand injury July 24. The 27-year-old has allowed two or fewer runs in 10 of his 13 starts over that stretch, but he gave up three runs over seven innings in a loss to Washington on Aug. 4. Hendricks is 1-1 with a 2.38 ERA in seven postseason starts. Strasburg was dominant in 10 starts after the All-Star break, going 6-1 with a 0.86 ERA and 76 strikeouts over 62 2/3 innings. The 29-year-old allowed more than one run only twice over that span, and he hasn’t lost since Aug. 19. Strasburg has made only one postseason start - in the 2014 NLDS against San Francisco - and allowed two runs (one earned) over five innings in a tough-luck loss. The Nationals won four of seven meetings with the Cubs this season. Cubs are 1-5 in Hendricks' last 6 starts during game 1 of a series and are 0-5 in Hendricks' last 5 Friday starts. Nationals are 10-1 in Strasburgs last 11 starts vs. National League Central and are 45-11 in Strasburgs last 56 starts. Nationals are 4-1 in Strasburgs last 5 starts vs. Cubs. |

10-05-17 | Yankees v. Indians -135 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
Indians Terry Francona made liberal use of his bullpen weapons while guiding the Cleveland Indians to the World Series last season, and Joe Girardi took that philosophy a step further while guiding the New York Yankees to the American League Division Series with a win in the wild-card game Tuesday. Girardi will try to find a way to beat Francona and the best team in the AL when the Yankees visit the top-seeded Indians in Game 1 of the AL Division Series on Thursday. PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Sonny Gray (10-12, 3.55 ERA) vs. Indians RH Trevor Bauer (17-9, 4.19) Gray went 4-7 with a 3.72 ERA in 11 starts after being acquired from the Oakland Athletics prior to the trade deadline but struggled some in September, surrendering nine home runs in 35 1/3 innings. The Vanderbilt product, who lost at Cleveland in his New York debut on Aug. 3, was ripped for six runs on six hits - two homers - over 4 2/3 innings in his final regular-season outing on Saturday. Bauer aided the Indians' sprint to the finish by going 9-1 with a 2.42 ERA over his last 13 games (12 starts) and allowed two runs in 13 innings over his final two starts. Two of those 13 outings came against New York on Aug. 4 and Aug. 30, and the UCLA product breezed to wins in both by scattering two runs over 13 frames and striking out 11. Bauer, who gets the start over Cy Young candidate Kluber so that Kluber can come back on regular rest in a potential Game 5 or Game 1 of the ALCS, Yankees are 1-4 in Grays last 5 starts on grass. Indians are 7-1 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning record and are 7-1 in Bauers last 8 starts with 5 days of rest. Yankees are 2-5 in the last 7 meetings. |

10-05-17 | Red Sox v. Astros -129 | Top | 2-8 | Win | 100 | 5 h 6 m | Show |
Astros The Houston Astros battled all the way into the final weekend in the race for the best record in the American League and fell just short, leaving them to host the third-seeded AL East champion Boston Red Sox in Game 1 of the AL Division Series on Thursday. The second-seeded Astros made the biggest move of the waiver deadline period by bringing in Justin Verlander from the Detroit Tigers and will send him to the mound in Game 1. PITCHING MATCHUP: Red Sox LH Chris Sale (17-8, 2.90 ERA) vs. Astros RH Justin Verlander (15-8, 3.36) Sale went 3-4 with a 4.30 ERA over his final eight starts and struggled to keep the ball in the park at times, including his final start against Toronto on Sept. 26 in which he served up four home runs. The Florida native will be making his first career postseason start. Verlander earned his spot at the top of the Astros postseason rotation by going 5-0 with a 1.06 ERA in five starts since joining the team. The former MVP allowed four runs (three earned) in 12 innings over two starts against Boston earlier this season, though he did not factor in either decision. Red Sox are 1-5 in their last 6 Divisional Playoff road games and are 0-4 in Sales last 4 Thursday starts. Astros are 11-2 in their last 13 home games and are 5-0 in Verlanders last 5 starts. |

10-04-17 | Rockies v. Diamondbacks -162 | Top | 8-11 | Win | 100 | 10 h 7 m | Show |
D’Backs Two teams make their long-awaited return to the postseason when the Colorado Rockies visit the Arizona Diamondbacks for a battle of National League West rivals in the NL Wild Card Game on Wednesday night. The Diamondbacks are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2011 and had an 11-8 record this year against the Rockies, who make their first postseason appearance since 2009. Arizona went 52-29 at Chase Field this year and boast a powerful middle of the lineup as J.D. Martinez launched 29 homers in 62 games after being acquired from Detroit while Paul Goldschmidt knocked in 120 runs, PITCHING MATCHUP: Rockies RH Jon Gray (10-4, 3.67 ERA) vs. Diamondbacks RH Zack Greinke (17-7, 3.20) Gray became a key part of the rotation after the All-Star break while going 8-4 with a 3.65 ERA over 15 starts, and allowed seven runs across 30 innings in his last five outings. The 25-year-old Oklahoma native also struck out 10 to win at Arizona on June 30 and is 2-2 with a 4.75 ERA lifetime versus the Diamondbacks. Martinez is 2-for-6 with a pair of homers and David Peralta 6-for-13 with a triple against Gray. Greinke reached 17 victories for the third time in four seasons, but struggled in his last home start against Miami on Sept. 22 when he permitted eight runs over four innings. The 33-year-old Orlando native, who ended the regular season by limiting Kansas City to two runs over four innings Friday, is 9-5 lifetime against Colorado after going 2-1 with a 3.41 ERA in five outings this season. Rockies are 5-11 in Grays last 16 road starts vs. a team with a winning record. Diamondbacks are 11-2 in their last 13 vs. a team with a winning record and are 8-1 in Greinkes last 9 starts with 4 days of rest. |

10-03-17 | Twins v. Yankees -1.5 | Top | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
Yankees The New York Yankees have traditionally dominated the Minnesota Twins in the postseason and hope to continue that trend when the teams meet Tuesday night in the American League Wild Card Game at Yankee Stadium. New York defeated Minnesota in the AL Division Series in 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2010, claiming 12 of 14 contests in that span. This encounter will be the first taste of October for the Yankees' "Baby Bombers," putting MVP candidate Aaron Judge - who led the AL in homers (52) and walks (127) - on a big stage in the Bronx that has played host to many legends. The Twins authored one of the great turnarounds in baseball history by going from 59 victories in 2016 to 85 this year, but must overcome the pressure of past postseason failures, having lost 12 straight playoff games and 19 of their last 21 dating to the 2002 ALCS. Ervin Santana, who is 0-5 with a 6.43 ERA in six career starts at Yankee Stadium, gets the start for Minnesota opposite New York ace Luis Severino. Severino finished his breakout regular season by going 3-0 with a 2.10 ERA in five September starts, during which he allowed 15 hits and struck out 38 in 30 dominant innings. The one outlier in that stretch was a three-inning, three-run outing against Minnesota on Sept. 20, when the 23-year-old was pulled following a 46-pitch third inning. That was the only career meeting with the Twins for Severino, who was 8-5 with a 3.71 ERA at home this year. The Yankees have also won 11 straight season series over the Twins, posting a 55-23 head-to-head record in that span. I hate to lay a big price so I’ll back the Yankees on the run-line. |

10-01-17 | Raiders v. Broncos -3 | Top | 10-16 | Win | 100 | 50 h 9 m | Show |
Broncos The Oakland Raiders likely will have revenge on their minds when they visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday for the latest installment in the bitter rivalry. Without star quarterback Derek Carr, the Raiders were demolished 24-6 at Denver in the 2016 season finale, denying them the AFC West title. Carr is healthy for this matchup but is coming off an abysmal performance against Washington last week in which he completed only 19-of-31 passes for just 118 yards and a touchdown while throwing his first two interceptions of the season. While Oakland dropped a 27-10 decision to the Redskins, Denver also suffered its first loss of the campaign, falling 26-16 at Buffalo in its first road game of 2017. Despite last week's effort, Anderson ranks fifth in the league with 235 rushing yards and is averaging 4.4 per carry. While he has recorded 310 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns in his last three games against Oakland. Raiders are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games in Week 4. Broncos are 8-3-2 ATS in their last 13 home games. Raiders are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings. |

10-01-17 | Panthers v. Patriots -9 | Top | 33-30 | Loss | -102 | 47 h 38 m | Show |
Patriots New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick built his reputation as a defensive guru so his team's inability to slow the opposition has been among the more stunning developments in the first month of the season. Despite ranking last in the NFL in defense, the reigning Super Bowl champions go for their third straight win over the visiting Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Panthers also are 2-1 but are having issues that belie their record -- they have scored one touchdown in two weeks and are coming off a 34-13 beating at home to a New Orleans team that was shredded for 36 points and 555 yards by the Patriots one week earlier. Former NFL MVP Cam Newton, who underwent surgery on his rotator cuff in the offseason, has twice as many interceptions (four) as touchdowns this season. Brady has a passer rating of 146.5 after throwing for 825 yards with eight TDs and zero picks in the past two games. Which the Patriots have shown a very leaky defense I think they turn that around here at home vs. Carolina. Panthers are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game and are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf. Patriots are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win. |

10-01-17 | Rams +6.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 35-30 | Win | 100 | 47 h 37 m | Show |
Rams Ezekiel Elliott is off to a slow start after his standout rookie season but looks to get untracked when the Dallas Cowboys host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Elliott, who has been dealing with the distraction of a court case involving his delayed six-game suspension for a domestic violence incident, is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry after posting a league-best 1,631 yards last season to go with a strong 5.1 average. Elliott's counterpart with the Rams, Todd Gurley, is on the other end of the spectrum as he has bounced back from a down season with a strong September as he was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month after rushing for 241 yards and scoring six total touchdowns (four rushing, two receiving). Los Angeles is averaging a league-best 35.7 points with second-year quarterback Jared Goff displaying signs as to why he was the No. 1 overall selection in the 2016 draft. Goff has completed 70.4 percent of his passes in first-year coach Sean McVay's system for 817 yards and five touchdowns against just one interception. Standout defensive tackle Aaron Donald appears ready to begin making an impact after his training-camp holdout caused him to miss the season opener and record just five tackles and one sack in the ensuing two games. Cowboys are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

10-01-17 | Titans v. Texans +3 | Top | 14-57 | Win | 100 | 47 h 36 m | Show |
Texans Rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans let one slip away last week when the New England Patriots drove the length of the field in the final minute to pull out a 36-33 decision. Houston will try to rebound when it hosts the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in a crucial early-season AFC South contest. The Texans have won back to division titles but it is the Titans who were the preseason AFC South favorites. Watson nearly led Houston to a shocking win at New England last week by throwing for 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns but he also had two costly picks. Tennessee will ride the arm and the legs of Marcus Mariota, who has thrown for 696 yards and three touchdowns on the season. Houston defeated Tennessee 27-20 at NRG Stadium last season and earned a playoff berth by capturing the tiebreaker as both teams finished with 9-7 records. Titans are 4-21-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Texans are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games in Week 4 and are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. AFC South. Titans are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-01-17 | Bengals -3 v. Browns | Top | 31-7 | Win | 100 | 47 h 35 m | Show |
Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals are still winless, but at least the offense is starting to put points on the board. The Bengals will try to turn their season around and get on the path to becoming the first team to make the postseason after an 0-3 start since 1998 when they visit the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Cincinnati fired offensive coordinator Ken Zampese after failing to score a touchdown in the first two games and looked better under new coordinator Bill Lazor last week, but could not pull off the upset and ended up falling 27-24 in overtime at Green Bay. The Browns are winless as well but are not giving opponents an easy time and came within one play of pulling off a victory at Indianapolis last week. Cincinnati will get linebacker Vontaze Burfict back on Sunday after he served a three-game suspension for a hit during the preseason. Bengals are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games on grass and are 11-3-2 ATS in their last 16 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game. Browns are 5-21 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight up loss and are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 vs. AFC North. Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

09-30-17 | Clemson v. Virginia Tech +8 | Top | 31-17 | Loss | -110 | 56 h 22 m | Show |
Virginia Tech + 8 Defending national champion Clemson has passed a few early tests already but will face their biggest one yet on Saturday. The second-ranked Tigers put their school-record 11-game road winning streak on the line when they visit No. 12 Virginia Tech in an ACC showdown between unbeaten teams. Clemson already has beaten two ranked opponents, holding off Auburn in a defensive struggle and routing Louisville on the road, and pulled away in the fourth quarter of a 34-7 win over Boston College last week. The Hokies survived a tough test in a 31-24 win over West Virginia to open the season but have coasted past inferior competition over the last three weeks. The Hokies have long been regarded for their stellar defense and special-teams work, but they’re putting up huge offensive numbers so far this season. Redshirt freshman quarterback Josh Jackson has been superb, completing 65.2 percent of his passes for 1,127 yards with 11 touchdowns and one interception, albeit against weak competition. Jackson has a tremendous weapon in receiver Cam Phillips, who has recorded 34 receptions for 523 yards and five touchdowns through four contests. Tigers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 conference games.Hokies are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.

09-30-17 | Florida State v. Wake Forest +8 | Top | 26-19 | Win | 100 | 52 h 47 m | Show |
Wake Forest + 8 Florida State went from National Championship contender to fringe Top-25 candidate in one month and is still looking for its first win. The 25th-ranked Seminoles will try to find their way into the win column when they visit undefeated Wake Forest on Saturday. The Demon Deacons are ready to step into Florida State's spot atop the ACC and outscored opponents by an average of 26.3 points in their first four contests. Blackmon isn't the only freshman in the Seminoles' backfield, and he could use more help from first-year running back Cam Akers. Akers leads the team with a total of 85 yards and Florida State is averaging just 2.7 yards on a combined 53 rushing attempts this season. The Seminoles, who had their season interrupted by Hurricane Irma and already had two games cancelled or postponed, are struggling to find a rhythm on offense and reached the end zone in just two of eight trips into the red zone. Senior quarterback John Wolford is looking for his first win over Florida State and comes into his final matchup with eight touchdowns and no interceptions in the first four games of 2017. Florida State WR Auden Tate (shoulder) and LB Matthew Thomas (back) are both questionable after leaving last week's game. Demon Deacons are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 conference games. Seminoles are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 meetings in Wake Forest. |

09-30-17 | Georgia -7 v. Tennessee | Top | 41-0 | Win | 100 | 52 h 45 m | Show |
Georgia – 7 Tennessee coach Butch Jones did not mince words last week after the Volunteers escaped with a narrow victory over Massachusetts, and his team will have plenty to improve on with No. 8 Georgia coming to Knoxville on Saturday. The Volunteers face the unbeaten Bulldogs after a 17-13 victory last week that Jones called “flat-out unacceptable” postgame, coming on the heels of losing their SEC opener at Florida on a last-second touchdown pass. The Volunteers are 101th in the nation in red-zone defense and 107th in red-zone offense. Georgia comes in looking like the clear-cut favorite in the SEC East after dismantling Mississippi State 31-3 as freshman quarterback Jake Fromm passed for 201 yards and two touchdowns. With injured starter Jacob Eason nearing a return, Georgia coach Kirby Smart told reporters Tuesday he wants the quarterback who gives his team the best chance to win. Bulldogs are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Volunteers are 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

09-30-17 | Maryland v. Minnesota -13 | Top | 31-24 | Loss | -110 | 48 h 18 m | Show |
Minnesota – 13 Maryland looks to overcome the loss of another quarterback when it visits Minnesota for the Big Ten opener for both teams on Saturday. Starter Tyrrell Pigrome tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the season-opening 51-41 win against Texas and highly touted freshman Kasim Hill suffered the same fate in a 38-10 setback against Central Florida, leaving the Terrapins' hopes of salvaging their campaign resting squarely on the shoulders of Max Bortenschlager. ABOUT MARYLAND (2-1): Bortenschlager came off the bench to complete 15-of-26 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown but threw two interceptions in the loss to UCF. Caleb Henderson, who transferred from North Carolina, missed a majority of training camp with a foot injury, but Durkin stated the junior quarterback likely will dress as the backup for Saturday's clash. Maryland has dropped seven of its last eight Big Ten road contests. ABOUT MINNESOTA (3-0): Kobe McCrary ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the win against Middle Tennessee State while Rodney Smith also gained 107 yards to become the 15th player in program history to surpass 2,000 career rushing yards. Minnesota has won five consecutive home games. Terrapins are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games. Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a bye week. |

09-30-17 | Northwestern +14.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 24-33 | Win | 100 | 48 h 17 m | Show |
Northwestern + 14.5 No. 10 Wisconsin breezed through the nonconference portion of its schedule and looks ready to take on the Big Ten. The Badgers will play three of their first four conference games at home and start by hosting Northwestern on Saturday. Wisconsin comes in with a thriving offense led by sophomore quarterback Alex Hornibrook, who completed 18 of 19 passes -- a school-record 94.7 percent -- for 256 yards and four touchdowns in a 40-6 win at BYU on Sept. 16. The Wildcats are clicking on all cylinders offensively as well and finished off their nonconference slate by rolling up 678 yards of total offense in a 49-7 win over Bowling Green -- the second-highest total in program history. The Wildcats are 18-4 when Jackson rushes for 100 yards. Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. Badgers are 0-3-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. This should be a shoot-out and I’m taking the points. |

09-29-17 | Miami-FL v. Duke +6 | Top | 31-6 | Loss | -103 | 31 h 21 m | Show |
Duke + 6 Miami gets its ACC slate under way under the lights at Duke on Friday night. The Hurricanes moved up one spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 13 after shaking off three weeks of rust to defeat Toledo 52-30 Saturday, while Duke remained perfect after a 27-17 road win over rival North Carolina. The Blue Devils certainly remember the last time the Hurricanes blew into town in 2015 as Miami pulled out the 30-27 victory with a controversial last-gasp 91-yard kickoff return that featured eight laterals and four missed calls that resulted in suspensions for the ACC officiating crew. The Hurricanes hope to avoid needing any last-second heroics this time around but that may depend on which Miami team shows up -- the sluggish one that was down 16-10 to Toledo at halftime or the explosive one that scored 42 points in the second half. The Blue Devils have yet to play a ranked opponent this season so this will be a huge test for a Duke defense that ranks second in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game (65.3) and is tied for 11th nationally in total yards surrendered (261.5). Offensively, the Blue Devils have been moving the chains mainly on the ground, averaging 227.0 yards per game featuring senior Shaun Wilson (363 yards, 5 TDs) -- who needs just six yards to become the seventh player in Duke history to hit the 2,000-yard mark -- and freshman Brittain Brown (336 yards, 2 TDs). Quarterback Daniel Jones provides an additional running threat but he is making strides as a passer (904 yards, 5 TDs) with junior T.J. Rahming (24 catches, 248 yards) as his favorite target. Hurricanes are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game. Blue Devils are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games. |

09-28-17 | Texas v. Iowa State +6.5 | Top | 17-7 | Loss | -110 | 31 h 20 m | Show |
Iowa State Texas will have had 12 days to move on from a bitter 27-24 double-overtime loss at No. 5 USC when the Longhorns open Big 12 Conference play Thursday night at Iowa State. And although many viewed the close road loss to the Trojans as a moral victory for first-year coach Tom Herman's rebuilding squad, Herman was having none of it. The Longhorns, who opened the season with a 51-41 home loss to Maryland and followed that up with a 56-0 home victory over woeful San Jose State before falling to the Trojans. The Cyclones are a 44-41 overtime loss to Iowa away from a 3-0 start, opening the season with a 42-24 home victory over Northern Iowa and winning at Akron 41-14 on Sept. 16. Junior quarterback Jacob Park ranks 14th in the NCAA in passing (311.7 yards) and has four 300-yard passing games in six career starts. A big reason for that is senior wide receiver Allen Lazard, a preseason All-American who has 19 receptions for 178 yards and three touchdowns and is the active NCAA career leader in consecutive games with a reception (38). Iowa State leads the Big 12 and ranks sixth nationally with 26 tackles for loss, an average of 8.7 per game. Longhorns are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Thursday games. Cyclones are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Thursday games and are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Home team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

09-26-17 | Cubs +103 v. Cardinals | Top | 7-8 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 24 m | Show |
Cubs Already having eliminated the rival St. Louis Cardinals from contention for the National League Central title, the Chicago Cubs can do further harm to the Cardinals’ wild-card hopes when the teams continue their four-game series Tuesday in St. Louis. The Cubs need one win or one Milwaukee loss to clinch their second straight NL Central crown. Chicago knocked St. Louis out of the division race with a 10-2 win in Monday’s opener, and the Cardinals are fading in the wild-card race, trailing Colorado by 2 1/2 games for the final playoff spot. The Cubs have won six straight against the Cardinals and lead the season series 12-4. Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta aims to continue his strong record against St. Louis – he is 8-3 with a 2.06 ERA in 16 meetings. Chicago has won 11 of its last 13 overall. Martinez was roughed up by the Cubs on Sept. 15 in Chicago, allowing seven runs in 5 1/3 innings and taking the loss. The 26-year-old Dominican bounced back to win his last start but did not have his best stuff and gave up four runs over 6 1/3 innings at Cincinnati. Martinez is 4-4 with a 4.55 ERA in 23 games (13 starts) against the Cubs. Cubs are 21-5 in their last 26 road games vs. a right-handed starter. Cardinals are 0-5 in their last 5 vs. a team with a winning record. |

09-26-17 | Nationals -152 v. Phillies | Top | 1-4 | Loss | -152 | 5 h 15 m | Show |
Nationals Bryce Harper's month-and-a-half absence due to a knee injury was potentially extended an additional 24 hours by flu-like symptoms as the 2015 National League MVP sat out the opener of the Washington Nationals' three-game series against the host Philadelphia Phillies. Harper aims to return to the lineup for the first time since Aug. 12 on Tuesday as the Nationals vie their 24th win in their last 31 encounters versus the Phillies. Philadelphia. While the Nationals have won three in a row and six of their last eight as they gear up for the postseason, the cellar-dwelling Phillies have dropped four of five. Gonzalez improved to 7-2 in his last nine starts on Wednesday after allowing two runs on three hits in seven innings of a 7-3 victory at Atlanta. The 32-year-old surrendered two solo homers in that contest and has been taken deep five times in his last five outings. Gonzalez has yet to allow more than three earned runs in 12 career starts at Citizens Bank Park, and has gotten the better of Maikel Franco (1-for-19, four strikeouts), Aaron Altherr (1-for-15, six strikeouts) and Tommy Joseph (2-for-11). Nationals are 6-1 in Gonzalezs last 7 starts vs. a team with a losing record. Phillies are 0-5 in Thompsons last 5 starts during game 2 of a series. |

09-24-17 | Raiders -3 v. Redskins | Top | 10-27 | Loss | -110 | 55 h 24 m | Show |
Raiders – 3 An injury to Derek Carr toward the end of last season KO'd Oakland's title aspirations but the quarterback's return has the Raiders looking like a serious Super Bowl contender. Carr and Oakland will try to remain unbeaten under the glare of a national spotlight when they travel cross country to visit the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Carr will make his 50th NFL start and has a chance to reach the .500 mark with a victory -- no small feat for a player who began his career with 10 consecutive defeats. Washington laid an egg in its season opener, a 30-17 loss at home to Philadelphia, but averted an 0-2 start by scoring late in a 27-20 win at the Los Angeles Rams a week ago. Raiders are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in September. Redskins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Road team is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

09-24-17 | Chiefs -3 v. Chargers | Top | 24-10 | Win | 100 | 51 h 19 m | Show |
Chiefs – 3 The Kansas City Chiefs look to stretch their streak of consecutive victories over AFC West opponents to 12 when they visit the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The streak is the longest current string of divisional success in the NFL, with Kansas City's last such loss coming in Week 2 of the 2015 season against Denver, which went on to the win Super Bowl. The Chargers are in must-win mode after losing their first two games by a combined five points, with unsuccessful late field-goal attempts being a factor both times. Smith has been superb, completing 77.8 percent of his passes for 619 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions over the first two games. Rookie running back Kareem Hunt has been the talk of the NFL as he leads the league in rushing yards (229) and scrimmage yards (355) while scoring five touchdowns (three rushing, two receiving). Kansas City's defense has experienced some issues, allowing 388.5 yards per game, but already has racked up nine sacks - with outside linebacker Justin Houston and defensive end Chris Jones recording three apiece. The Chiefs have won the last six meetings and hold a 58-54-1 series lead. Chiefs are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in Week 3. Chargers are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games on grass. Road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

Broncos – 3 The Denver Broncos attempt to remain among the undefeated in the young season when they visit the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Denver enters Week 3 as one of 10 teams in the league yet to lose this year and one of three in the AFC West, as it posted home victories over the Los Angeles Chargers and Dallas by a combined 66-38 score. Trevor Siemian has quieted the critics thus far, grabbing a share of the league lead in touchdown passes (six) by throwing four against the Cowboys last week, while C.J. Anderson ranks second in the NFL with 199 rushing yards. After opening the campaign with a 21-12 home triumph over the New York Jets, Buffalo failed to generate any offense in last week's 9-3 loss at Carolina. The running game was especially ineffective as LeSean McCoy, who gained 110 yards versus the Jets, was limited to nine on 12 carries by the Panthers. That does not bode well for Sunday's matchup, as the Broncos held Dallas' Ezekiel Elliott - last season's NFL rushing leader - to eight yards on nine carries last week. Broncos are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games in September and are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. Bills are 12-26-2 ATS in their last 40 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. |

09-24-17 | Dolphins -6 v. Jets | Top | 6-20 | Loss | -107 | 48 h 53 m | Show |
Dolphins – 6 The Miami Dolphins swept the season series with the New York Jets last year and look to continue the streak with a power running game led by Jay Ajayi when the two teams meet in New Jersey on Sunday. Ajayi rushed for 122 yards in the Dolphins' season-opening win against San Diego and is poised for another big game against the Jets, who rank last in the NFL against the rush, allowing a whopping 185 yards per game. Ajayi rushed for 162 yards on 43 carries with one touchdown against the Jets last season. The time is now for Miami, which opened the season with a 19-17 win over the Chargers aided by a missed field goal in the game's final seconds. Jay Cutler, who was on the Jets' radar after they released Ryan Fitzpatrick in the offseason, made his Miami debut against Los Angeles by throwing for 230 yards and a touchdown. New York was hammered at Oakland 45-20 last week, surrendering 180 yards on the ground on 27 carries. The Jets were incensed by Raiders running back Marshall Lynch, who was seen dancing on the sidelines in the second half, but linebacker Jordan Jenkins blamed his own team for its shortcomings. Dolphins are 6-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. Jets are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games in September. |

09-24-17 | Ravens -3.5 v. Jaguars | Top | 7-44 | Loss | -110 | 44 h 22 m | Show |
Ravens – 3.5 The Baltimore Ravens' blitzing defense looks to rattle Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars when the two teams meet at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday. Baltimore has notched four interceptions in each of its two games while allowing a total of 10 points on the way to a 2-0 record. Jacksonville has also been led by its defense but the group that registered 10 sacks in its stunning season-opening win at Houston was limited to just one last time out in a 37-16 loss against Tennessee. The Jaguars were once again left to ponder their quarterback situation as Bortles threw two interceptions and lost a fumble and Jacksonville didn't score a touchdown until midway through the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach. The Ravens will apply plenty of pressure of their own as linebacker Terrell Suggs has three of their eight sacks on the season. Ravens are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on grass and are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. AFC. Jaguars are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games in September and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on grass. |

09-23-17 | Notre Dame v. Michigan State +3.5 | Top | 38-18 | Loss | -110 | 56 h 47 m | Show |
Michigan State + 3.5 Michigan State looks to return from a week off and resume the momentum of a 2-0 start when it hosts long-time rival Notre Dame on Saturday night. The Spartans earned home victories over Bowling Green and Western Michigan prior to a bye week, while the Irish are coming off a victory over Boston College last weekend. Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio would love to see his running game have the kind of dominant performance it had against the Irish last year, when the Spartans held the ball for 37:57 in the contest and amassed 260 yards on 52 carries. The Michigan State defense has been outstanding to start the season, not allowing a single offensive touchdown in the first two games and leading FBS schools in third-down defense (10.7-percent conversion rate). Fighting Irish are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win.Spartans are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game. Take the points in what could be an outright upset. |

09-23-17 | Florida -1.5 v. Kentucky | Top | 28-27 | Loss | -110 | 55 h 6 m | Show |
Florida – 1.5 Fresh off their dramatic last-second 26-20 triumph over Tennessee, 22nd-ranked Florida heads to Kentucky on Saturday for their first SEC road game of the season. The Wildcats come off their fourth straight victory over South Carolina, but they are on the wrong end of the streak this time around as the Gators have won the last 30 meetings with Kentucky, the longest active win streak in the NCAA. But while Kentucky may be playing with a chip on its shoulder, Florida has something to prove as well after two very flawed performances this season. The Gators have high hopes that Feleipe Franks' 63-yard game-winning touchdown pass to Tyrie Cleveland as time expired against Tennessee will give the team momentum and jumpstart an offense that has had its up and downs with a redshirt freshman quarterback at the helm. Gators are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.Wildcats are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game.Gators are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Kentucky. |

09-23-17 | San Diego State -3 v. Air Force | Top | 28-24 | Win | 100 | 55 h 33 m | Show |
San Diego State – 3 The player who has garnered all three of the Mountain West Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week awards this season is the same player who leads the nation in rushing at 196 yards per game. And that’s why San Diego State’s Rashaad Penny has the undivided attention of host Air Force this week with the 25th-ranked Aztecs set to visit Saturday night. The win over the Cardinal was the 24th in the last 27 games overall for the Aztecs, who are seeking their third straight Mountain West title. Penny also is tops nationally with 774 total all-purpose yards and is tied for second in the FBS with six TDs while quarterback Christian Chapman has completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 480 yards, four scores and one interception. Cornerback Ron Smith has a team-leading 17 total tackles and two interceptions for a defense which ranks 18th nationally in allowing 91.7 rushing yards per outing. Aztecs are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game and are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 conference games.Falcons are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 conference games.Aztecs are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings.

09-23-17 | Michigan v. Purdue +10 | Top | 28-10 | Loss | -110 | 52 h 49 m | Show |
Purdue + 10 Eighth-ranked Michigan looks to stay unbeaten when it hits the road to face Purdue in the Big Ten opener for both teams on Saturday. The Wolverines are ranked fifth nationally in total defense after allowing an average of 208 yards per game after wins over then-No. 22 Florida (33-17), Cincinnati (36-14) and Air Force (29-13) but quarterback Wilton Speight hopes to kick start a unit which has scored just one touchdown in 10 trips inside the 20-yard line. The Boilermakers continued to rotate quarterbacks as David Blough went 22-of-28 through the air for 187 yards and accounted for two touchdowns while Elijah Sindelar completed 4-of-6 passes for 85 yards and a score in the win over Missouri. Freshman wide receiver Jackson Anthrop caught a team-high six passes for 36 yards and a touchdown against the Tigers to extend his TD streak to three games. Purdue's 107 points in its first three games under Brohm is the fourth-best under a new head coach, while the three points surrendered against the Tigers was the program's fewest against an FBS opponent in 12 years. Wolverines are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game. Boilermakers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. Home team is 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 meetings. Take the points with the home team. |

09-23-17 | Duke -2.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 51 h 5 m | Show |
Duke – 2.5 The Duke-North Carolina rivalry is more synonymous with basketball - but with the way these two teams have been putting up points so far, don't be surprised to see a March Madness-like point tally as these two football programs do battle Saturday in Chapel Hill. Yet, while the Blue Devils are off to an unbeaten start, the Tar Heels are looking to build off last week's win after dropping their first two games. While the offense gets the bulk of the attention, the Blue Devils' run defense has been something to behold. No team in Division I has been stingier on the ground than Duke, which is allowing just 47.7 yards per game while limiting North Carolina Central, Northwestern and Baylor to a combined 1.8 yards per carry on 79 attempts. The Blue Devils' own rush attack has been formidable, with Shaun Wilson (41 carries, 293 yards, four TDs) and Brittain Brown (42 carries, 235 yards, two TDs) forming a potent 1-2 punch in the backfield. Blue Devils are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Tar Heels are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. |

09-23-17 | Wake Forest -5 v. Appalachian State | Top | 20-19 | Loss | -110 | 51 h 57 m | Show |
Wake Forest – 5 Wake Forest will travel some 86 miles to play at Kid Brewer Stadium for the first time when it faces Appalachian State on Saturday in a non-conference game. The Demon Deacons and the Mountaineers have an extensive history having played 22 times between 1975 and 2001, but this will be the first meeting in Boone, N.C. Behind the passing of John Wolford and Kendall Hinton, and the running of Arkeem Byrd, Wolford and Matt Colburn, Wake Forest is in search of its second straight 4-0 start under coach Dave Clawson. The Demon Deacons, who own a 14-7-1 record against Appalachian State, have looked impressive in dispatching their first three opponents by a combined score of 131-27. Demon Deacons are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games.Mountaineers are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 home games. |

09-23-17 | NC State +13.5 v. Florida State | Top | 27-21 | Win | 100 | 48 h 36 m | Show |
NC State + 13.5 Florida State had plenty of time to work out what went wrong in a season-opening loss to Alabama back on Sept. 2 and will finally get a chance to take the field again when it hosts North Carolina State in its ACC opener on Saturday. The 11th-ranked Seminoles had their scheduled home opener against Louisiana-Monroe cancelled on Sept. 9 and had a meeting with Miami last weekend postponed due to Hurricane Irma. Florida State had its practice schedule interrupted by Hurricane Irma as well and is anxious to shake off the rust and make sure it is rounding into form as the ACC slate kicks off. I don’t think that will be easy. Blackman will be the first true freshman to start at QB for the Seminoles since 1985. NC State began its season with a tough 35-28 loss to South Carolina but recovered nicely while blowing away Marshall and Furman by a combined 86-36. Wolfpack are 20-4 ATS in their last 24 games following a bye week and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. Wolfpack are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 meetings. Take the points with NC State. |

09-22-17 | Utah -3.5 v. Arizona | Top | 30-24 | Win | 100 | 35 h 28 m | Show |
Utah – 3.5 The Pac-12 Conference’s most dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks will duel in the desert on Friday, when No. 21 Utah visits Arizona. The game also will serve as the Pac-12 opener for both teams, who just completed winning non-conference seasons. The Utes are coming off their fifth straight undefeated non-conference season and are now looking to win their Pac-12 opener for the third straight campaign. Wide receiver Darren Carrington II, a transfer from Oregon, has struck up an immediate bond with Huntley as they’ve hooked up 26 times for 409 yards and four TDs so far. On the other side of the ball, linebacker Sunia Tauteoli (team-high 18 tackles) and safety Chase Hansen (14) lead a unit which is tops in the conference in total defense (246 yards) and turnovers forced (nine), including six interceptions. The Wildcats bounced back from a 19-16 loss to Houston with a 63-16 rout of host UTEP last week as Dawkins threw for three touchdowns and added three more on the ground while rolling up 288 yards of total offense. Utah has a decided edge in the kicking game, with Matt Gay a perfect 11-for-11 on both field-goal and extra-point attempts so far, while 2016 Ray Guy Award winner Mitch Wishnowsky ranks fifth nationally in net yardage (45.4). Utes are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Wildcats are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 conference games. |

09-22-17 | Angels v. Astros UNDER 8 | Top | 0-3 | Win | 102 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
Angels/Astros under 8 The Los Angeles Angels are looking to halt a four-game losing streak and find themselves having to solve the red-hot Justin Verlander when they open a three-game road series against the Houston Astros on Friday. The Angels have dropped nine of their last 13 and sit 2 1/2 games behind Minnesota for the American League's second wild-card spot. Verlander is 3-0 with a 0.86 ERA in three outings since being acquired from Detroit, with one of those starts being a victory against the Angels on Sept. 12 in which he allowed just one hit over eight scoreless innings. PITCHING MATCHUP: Angels RH Garrett Richards (0-2, 2.00 ERA) vs. Astros RH Justin Verlander (13-8, 3.50) Richards has lost back-to-back starts, pitching five innings in each outing as he regains his form after a biceps injury. The 29-year-old has struck out 18 batters in as many innings this season - the second in a row interrupted by an arm injury. Richards is 5-4 with a 3.58 ERA in 13 career appearances (10 starts) against the Astros, including a loss opposite Verlander in which he gave up one run and four hits over five frames. Verlander has struck out 26 and walked just three in 21 innings since joining Houston's rotation. "I think my mechanics and everything have been pretty good," the 34-year-old Verlander told reporters. "My last few starts are really to try to go out there and maintain that feel and just attack and help get us a win." Verlander is 1-1 with a 2.57 ERA in two starts versus the Angels this year and 7-8 with a 3.55 ERA in 18 career turns. Under is 4-0-1 in Richards' last 5 starts with 4 days of rest. Under is 11-5-2 in Astros last 18 games following a loss. Under is 6-1 in Richards' last 7 starts vs. Astros. |

09-22-17 | Cardinals -145 v. Pirates | Top | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 56 m | Show |
Cardinals The St. Louis Cardinals weren't shy with their offense as they scored 15 runs in their three-game sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium earlier this month. Fresh off erupting for erupting for 25 runs in a three-game sweep of Cincinnati, the Cardinals aim to keep the offense churning versus the Pirates on Friday when the National League Central rivals meet at PNC Park. PITCHING MATCHUP: Cardinals RH Michael Wacha (12-8, 4.02 ERA) vs. Pirates RH Ivan Nova (11-14, 4.20) Wacha saw his three-game winning streak come to a halt on Saturday after allowing three runs and five walks in 5 2/3 innings of a 4-1 loss to the Cubs. The 26-year-old held Pittsburgh in check in his last outing on Sept. 10, permitting five hits and striking out seven in eight scoreless innings in a 7-0 rout. Wacha owns a 2-1 mark with a 2.89 ERA in three starts versus the Pirates this season. Nova lost his fourth straight start on Saturday despite yielding two runs on three hits in 6 1/3 innings of a 2-1 setback at Cincinnati. The 30-year-old Dominican may be in the midst of a difficult stretch, but Friday's start - his 30th of the season - will be a profitable one as he will receive a $750,000 bonus as part of an incentive in his contract. Nova's lone win in his last seven starts came at the expense of St. Louis on Aug. 20, when he allowed three runs in 5 2/3 innings of a 6-3 triumph. |

09-22-17 | Rays -106 v. Orioles | Top | 8-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 56 m | Show |
Rays The Baltimore Orioles expected to be preparing for a playoff run in late September, but instead they are battling for third place in the American League East when the Tampa Bay Rays pay a visit for the second of a four-game set Friday night. The Orioles earned a 3-1 victory in the series opener Thursday and are 5 ½ games out in the race for the AL’s second wild card - one-half game behind the Rays - with just over a week to go. PITCHING MATCHUP: Rays RH Alex Cobb (11-10, 3.63 ERA) vs. Orioles RH Ubaldo Jimenez (6-10, 6.57) Cobb gave up nine runs total in his last six starts, but managed just a 2-3 record during that stretch without completing more than six innings in any outing. The 29-year-old Boston native held Baltimore to one run and four hits over seven innings for a 5-1 victory on July 26 to improve to 5-2 with a 2.54 ERA in 11 career contests against the Orioles. Evan Longoria is 7-for-22 with a pair of homers overall versus Jimenez, who is 0-2 with a 10.80 ERA in three games against the Rays in 2017. |

09-21-17 | Nationals -133 v. Braves | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -133 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
Nationals The Washington Nationals still have something to play for over the final 11 contests of the regular season and look to complete a three-game sweep of the host Atlanta Braves on Thursday. The National League East champions have crept within 3 ½ games of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the best record in the NL with three straight victories and could be getting back slugger Bryce Harper soon. Roark has strung together four consecutive quality starts and has posted four wins in his last five outings, striking out 39 during that stretch. The 30-year-old Illinois product, who is 7-3 since July 1 after going 1-4 in June, owns a 3.84 ERA on the road as opposed to a 4.90 mark at home. Dickey is winless in his last three starts, allowing 17 runs - 16 earned - and 22 hits with eight walks over 14 1/3 innings in that span. The 42-year-old knuckleballer, who has a 119-118 lifetime record, needs one triumph to reach double digits in victories for the sixth straight season and seventh overall. Jayson Werth (13-for-29, two homers) and Ryan Zimmerman (15-for-42, four) have caused trouble for Dickey, who is 4-9 against Washington in his career. Nationals are 8-2 in their last 10 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30 and are 11-4 in Roarks last 15 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance. Braves are 1-4 in Dickeys last 5 home starts. Nationals are 8-2 in Roarks last 10 starts vs. Braves. |

09-21-17 | Royals v. Blue Jays -143 | Top | 1-0 | Loss | -143 | 8 h 4 m | Show |
Blue Jays After unleashing some offensive frustration to halt a three-game skid, the Kansas City Royals will go for a series win against the host Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday in the rubber match of a three-game series. Kansas City used an eight-run second inning en route to a 15-5 win on Wednesday night to close within 3 1/2 games of the American League's second wild card. The Royals had failed to score more than four runs in eight straight games before busting loose against the Blue Jays PITCHING MATCHUP: Royals LH Jason Vargas (16-10, 4.19 ERA) vs. Blue Jays LH J.A. Happ (9-10, 3.76) Vargas halted his second-half spiral by winning his last two starts, although he went five innings in each and hasn't resembled the pitcher who was 12-3 on June 30. He gave up three runs at Cleveland on Friday after limiting Minnesota to one run on four hits in his previous turn. Vargas is 3-3 with a 4.96 ERA against the Blue Jays. Happ is coming on strong after starting the season by losing his first four decisions and not earning his first victory until June 11. He has surrendered a total of five earned runs in winning each of his last three starts to move closer to a sixth season with double-digit victories. Brandon Moss is 8-for-16 versus Happ, who pitched 6 2/3 innings of one-run ball against the Royals on June 23. Royals are 1-5 in their last 6 games following a win. Royals are 0-4 in Vargas' last 4 starts with 5 days of rest. Blue Jays are 17-4 in Happs last 21 starts after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game and are 13-4 in Happs last 17 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game. |

09-20-17 | Indians -104 v. Angels | Top | 6-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 51 m | Show |
Indians The Los Angeles Angels are sliding downward at an inopportune time and look to rebound against the visiting Cleveland Indians on Wednesday in the middle contest of their three-game series. The Angels dropped a 5-2 decision in the opener for their seventh setback in 11 games and missed out on the chance to gain ground on Minnesota in the race for the second American League wild-card spot. Los Angeles, which has scored just seven runs over its last three contests, is 1 1/2 games behind the Twins with only 12 remaining. Superstar Mike Trout is just 2-for-17 over his last five contests. PITCHING MATCHUP: RH Josh Tomlin (9-9, 5.04 ERA) vs. Angels RH Ricky Nolasco (6-14, 5.11) Tomlin is 5-0 over his last eight starts after opening the campaign by losing nine of 13 decisions. The 32-year-old has posted a 2.39 ERA over his last five turns, giving up fewer than three runs in each of the outings. Tomlin is 2-2 with a 4.09 ERA in five career starts versus the Angels, and his lone career outing at Angel Stadium occurred in 2010, when he gave up three runs and three hits in six innings during a no-decision. Nolasco has dropped back-to-back starts and is winless in his last five turns. The 34-year-old is 3-6 with a 4.84 ERA in 15 home starts and has allowed 12 homers at Angel Stadium compared to 22 on the road. Nolasco is 0-3 with a 5.32 ERA in eight career appearances (seven starts) against the Indians, including a defeat on July 26 in which he gave up three runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings. Indians are 6-1 in Tomlins last 7 starts on grass. Angels are 3-12 in Nolascos last 15 starts with 5 days of rest.

09-19-17 | Indians -104 v. Angels | Top | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
Indians The Los Angeles Angels face a tall task when they try to keep their American League wild card hopes alive against the visiting Cleveland Indians in a three-game series beginning Tuesday. The Indians are winners of 24 of their last 25 games and are busy trying to secure the best record in the AL ahead of the playoffs. PITCHING MATCHUP: Indians RH Mike Clevinger (10-5, 3.21 ERA) vs. Angels LH Tyler Skaggs (2-5, 4.37) Clevinger fits right in with Cleveland's success over the last four weeks and is riding a streak of four straight wins, during which he surrendered a total of one earned run. The 26-year-old Florida native had a string of three straight scoreless outings come to an end Wednesday, when he was reached for three runs - one earned - and six hits in 5 2/3 innings while earning a win over Detroit. Skaggs earned his first win since April 22 on Wednesday against Houston, scattering three hits over seven scoreless innings and striking out five. The 26-year-old Californian recorded a quality start in each of his last two outings after failing to complete six frames in any of his previous four turns. Skaggs is seeing Cleveland for the first time this season and is 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA in two previous starts against the Indians. Indians are 6-0 in their last 6 road games vs. a left-handed starter and are 9-1 in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Angels are 1-10 in their last 11 games following an off day. |
