They might not have the #1 next to their name but many think Ohio State is the best team in America. They beat up Oklahoma but since then have been getting a free pass through the B10.
This game at Wisconsin might be the toughest test they have all season.

Wisconsin has but one blemish on their resume, a road loss at the Big House – hardly something terrible. They have had two weeks to recover and their defense is among the best in the nation.
They should give OSU a game.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State has been putting up great numbers this season – they are third in points scored and second in points allowed, which begs the question, how do you beat this team?
I think it starts with not beating yourself which is something the Badgers are unlikely to do. That leads to the other significant edge that OSU has over most opponents.
J.T. Barrett is super savvy at QB. He is a high percentage passer who can also run and seems to have a great knack for knowing what is needed and when.

Freshman RB Mike Weber has been one of the most impressive in the country this season.
This guy is just itching for another big game as he never found the end zone against Oklahoma, despite running for 123 yards.
Reserve RB Curtis Samuel averages even more yards per carry and he is the team’s leading receiver. Some of the team’s individual offensive numbers do not look all that impressive because there was no reason to play the first string late in games.
Wisconsin Badgers
Two weeks ago the Badgers lost to Michigan 14-7.
Their offense was pathetic on the road that day but their defense was very strong and with a couple of weeks to get Alex Hornibrook ready for this one they should be able to have a more potent attack.
I know they are playing a strong defense but they have to be able to run the ball if they are going to have a shot. Thus far the running game has been very un-Badger like.
That’s the key.

For the Badgers to win they are going to need another strong defensive outing.
They may have a bit of a no-name defense but that crew has has given up an average of 11ppg in tilts against LSU, Michigan State and Michigan.
Last game they were missing their anchor in LB Vince Biegel but they were able to stay stout.
If they play their best game of the season and force some turnovers it will really put the heat on the Buckeyes – something they have not experienced much of this season.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Prediction
It always seems like a good idea to back a home dog, especially with the kind of defense the Badgers have been playing but their offense is uninspiring to say the least.
Urban Meyer has had good success against Wisconsin at Ohio State.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Ohio State -10.5
I am almost never this chalky so I am feeling a little uncomfortable.
However, I definitely trust the OSU defense to make things difficult for Wisconsin. When they have the ball they will be able to find some ways to let their superior offensive talent shine.
Not a blowout but a solid victory. Nervous about the back door though, especially with that hook.
