The MAC Championship welcomes in the Bowling Green Falcons from the East and the Northern Illinois Huskies from the West.
While the East was decided with ease for Bowling Green, Northern Illinois had to work for their West title.

This marks the 3rd straight season both teams will represent the MAC in the championship. Bowling Green took the 2013 meeting with the Huskies fighting back for a win last season.
Northern Illinois
The Huskies controlled their own destiny, but a slip up against Ohio University, at home, set the stage for the Toledo Rockets to steal the title.
The Rockets just needed a home win over the Western Michigan Broncos last Saturday to set up a BG-Toledo matchup. The Broncos went into Toledo and helped the Huskies out and knocked off the Rockets, putting NIU in the title position.

Things certainly won’t be easy for this Huskies team in this one. They are on their 3rd string QB after Ryan Graham went down. The Huskies offense looked all sorts of a mess and they couldn’t figure out how to move the ball against the Bobcats defense.
There is a chance Graham could be back, but he is listed as a game time decision. Graham is 2-0 as a starter with wins over Buffalo and Western Michigan. He also helped in relief after Drew Hare went down to lead the Huskies to a win over Toledo.
Bowling Green
The Falcons had zero problems in the MAC East. Bowling Green clinched it roughly 3 weeks ago and that is thanks in large part to one of the best offenses in the nation.
Bowling Green’s offense ranks 3rd overall with 566.0 yards per game. A lot of those come from QB Matt Johnson and the pass game. Johnson leads a BG offense that has thrown for 387.8 yards per game.

Johnson has a strong case for MAC Player of the Year as he’s thrown for 4465 yards to go along with 41 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions.
With his stellar stats, he leads a Falcons offense that averages 44.2 points per game.
Bowling Green has been a solid play for backers this season as well. The Falcons have an identical 9-3 ATS and SU record.
