Where Each Team Stands Heading Into Week 2
What a Week 1 we witnessed – thank goodness Football is back!!! So you think you have it all figured out do ya? So where does your favorite team sit heading into Week 2? Let’s take a look.
1. New England Patriots (1-0)
Hard to argue with this unless you are one of the crazy conspiracy theorists hell-bent to take the Pats down. Brady was a man on a mission IN Week 1, Gronk was unstoppable and Julien Edleman did whatever he wanted.
LeGarrett Blount returns this week to bolster a running game that looked good with Dion Lewis handling the rock – they’ll only get better as the season trots along – scary!

2. Green Bay Packers (1-0)
The Pack didn’t exactly rip it up in Week 1 but they got it done. Eddie Lacy was OK, Aaron Rodgers threw for just 189 yards with 4 TDs and the defense didn’t exactly shine – and they still won. That’s a sign of a good team!
3. Buffalo Bills (1-0)
The Bills were perhaps the most impressive team in Week 1 beating the Colts 27-14. Tyrod Taylor at QB and Percy Harvin at receiver seem to be huge upgrades for this squad but make no mistake about it – the defense is what will carry this team in 2015.
With Rex Ryan and a stop unit that made Andrew Luck look ordinary the Bills are poised to be this year’s surprise team.
4. Arizona Cardinals (1-0)
The Cards looked superb – amazing what a healthy Carson Palmer does for this team. Carson went for 307 yards and 3TDs and was able to find all of his weapons. The running game has some question marks but the defense was as advertised – slowing down Drew Brees and crew.
Watch out for Arizona – they looked awfully impressive in Week 1.
5. Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)
The KC Chiefs winning thanks to a stellar passing game from Alex Smith? C’mon! The Chiefs wore down a pretty good looking Houston defense thanks to 3TD passes. Travis Kelce looked unguardable, Jeremy Maclin fit like a glove and Jamaal Charles although he wasn’t superb was his typical dangerous self.

6. Cincinnati Bengals (1-0)
Beat down the Oakland Raiders with Matt McGloin in charge of the opposition for most of the game – no huge feat. What was impressive was the play of Tyler Eifert who had nine catches, 104 yards and 2 TDs. Jeremy Hill and Andy Dalton were good as well.
The Bengals are a balanced bunch and could make some noise this year!
7. Denver Broncos (1-0)
If I told you that the Broncos beat the Ravens with Peyton Manning completing 23 of 40 passes for 175 yards and with the offense failing to score a TD you would think I was nuts! But that’s what happened Sunday – an underwhelming, red-flag win for the Broncos.
8. Dallas Cowboys (1-0)
The Cowboys may be higher if not for the loss of Dez Bryant who broke his foot. As impressive as their scintillating win against New York was, this team is a whole lot different without Dez in the mix.
No DeMarco Murray and no Bryant means it could be a long month for this club.
9. Seattle Seahawks (0-1)
It’s not that they lost against a good Rams team, it’s the way they did it. The defense without Kam Chancellor was seriously exposed – Seattle looked lost at times on the defensive side of the ball. Marshawn Lynch had a down game and the rest of the team looked flat.
At least Russell Wilson utilized Jimmy Graham – reason for some optimism for this team.
10. Indianapolis Colts (0-1)
Ugh! The Colts were badly overmatched by a superb Bills defense on Sunday. The offense wasn’t great and the defense seems to be far away from where they need to be. Be concerned Colts fans – this team looked nothing like a contender in Week 1.
11. San Diego Chargers (1-0)
Beat a pretty good Detroit team on Sunday and made a good defense look ordinary. Philip Rivers threw for 404 yards on 35 of 42 passing! San Diego is a serious all-around team – worthy of the dirty dozen this week.

12. St. Louis Rams (1-0)
Impressive win for the Rams over the Seahawks in Week 1 for sure! Everything was working for this team Sunday – they could be a surprise if they are able to keep it up!
13. Philadelphia Eagles (0-1)
14. Miami Dolphins (1-0)
15. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1)
16. Carolina Panthers (1-0)
17. Detroit Lions (0-1)
18. New York Jets (1-0)
19. Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
20. Baltimore Ravens (0-1)
21. Tennessee Titans (1-0)
22. New York Giants (0-1)
23. San Francisco 49ers (1-0)
24. New Orleans Saints (0-1)
25. Minnesota Vikings (0-1)
26. Houston Texans (0-1)
27. Chicago Bears (0-1)
28. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1)
29. Cleveland Browns (0-1)
30. Washington Redskins (0-1)
31. Oakland Raiders (0-1)
32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1)
