03-18-23 | 76ers v. Pacers UNDER 232.5 | Top | 141-121 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 54 m | Show |
After recording arguably their best win of the season, the Indiana Pacers will look to carry that momentum into a Saturday night matchup against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers. Indiana (32-38) won for the fourth time in six games on Thursday, beating the host Milwaukee Bucks 139-123. The Pacers now turn their attention toward another Eastern Conference power, Philadelphia (47-22), which has won seven straight. Rookie Andrew Nembhard provided a spark on Thursday for the Pacers, who scored a season-high 84 second-half points and snapped a 10-game, head-to-head losing streak against the Bucks. Nembhard had a team-high 24 points in the victory. Indiana enters Saturday's game a half-game out of 10th place in the Eastern Conference with 12 games remaining. Teams seven through 10 will advance to the play-in tournament. The win over Milwaukee was even more surprising considering that Indiana played without All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton and rookie Bennedict Mathurin, both of whom sat out due to right ankle sprains. Both will be sidelined again on Saturday. With Haliburton out, Nembhard scored the second-most points of his career on Friday. |

03-17-23 | 76ers v. Hornets OVER 227.5 | Top | 121-82 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 38 m | Show |
The best players for the Philadelphia 76ers have the team on an upward trajectory at an ideal time. The 76ers might be facing the Charlotte Hornets at a good time as well when the teams meet Friday night at Charlotte, N.C. The most recent games for both teams came against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hornets dropped home games to the Cavaliers on Sunday and Tuesday. On Wednesday night, the 76ers rallied to win 118-109 at Cleveland for their sixth consecutive victory. Joel Embiid racked up 36 points for Philadelphia in that game and James Harden tacked on 28 points. The visit to Cleveland was the beginning of Philadelphia's stretch of seven road games in a an eight-game span. "We've really come together over the last couple of weeks, being a team, having each other's back," 76ers forward Georges Niang said. "That showed in the games we've won, especially the close ones. We're going to continue to do that, continue to grow." 76ers coach Doc Rivers said the team can't afford mistakes like the 18 turnovers at Cleveland. |

03-14-23 | Knicks v. Blazers OVER 228 | Top | 123-107 | Win | 100 | 8 h 46 m | Show |
Julius Randle followed up his worst shooting performance of the season with the type of showing that has made him a two-time All-Star. Randle looks to post his fifth 30-point effort in 11 games since the All-Star break when the New York Knicks visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. Randle scored 33 points on Sunday night when the Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak with a 112-108 victory over the host Los Angeles Lakers. One day earlier in the same arena, Randle was just 5-of-24 shooting for a season-low 20.8 percent success rate from the field during a 106-95 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. |

03-08-23 | Raptors v. Clippers UNDER 231 | Top | 100-108 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show |
While getting Russell Westbrook into the flow was the priority for the Los Angeles Clippers, a renewed commitment on the defensive end appears to be the team's focus now. A solid opportunity to work on defensive principles arrives Wednesday when the Clippers play host to the Toronto Raptors. While Los Angeles ranked just 22nd in the NBA through Monday with an average of 112.7 points scored per game, Toronto was 23rd at 112.6. The Clippers were torched for 176 points in a double-overtime defeat to the Sacramento Kings on Feb. 24 and have given up 131.7 points per game starting with that night while going 1-5. The 176-175 loss to the Kings was Westbrook's Clippers debut. Even in a victory Sunday over the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, the Clippers gave up 129 points, with 51 of them coming in the third quarter alone. Los Angeles coach Tyronn Lue adjusted his defense in the fourth quarter, leading to the victory. |

03-06-23 | 76ers v. Pacers UNDER 233.5 | Top | 147-143 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 45 m | Show |
After recording arguably their biggest victory of the season, the Philadelphia 76ers could be minus two starters when they visit the Indiana Pacers on Monday. Tobias Harris (left calf soreness) and P.J. Tucker (back spasms) are both unlikely to be available after exiting with injuries during Saturday's dramatic 133-130 win over the first-place Milwaukee Bucks. Philadelphia rallied from an 18-point, third-quarter deficit and scored 48 points in the fourth to snap Milwaukee's 16-game winning streak. James Harden scored 19 points in the final period and finished with 38 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. "I thought James made great decisions," Sixers coach Doc Rivers said. "He was obviously a scorer tonight, but he also was a point guard, too. "First half, I thought he was aggressive trying to score. Second half, he scored, but he was playing like an aggressive point guard. I thought the second half was better because he not only scored but he assisted, as well." Joel Embiid added 31 points and 10 assists, while Tyrese Maxey scored 26 points and Georges Niang had 16. Maxey has scored at least 23 in four straight games. The win could prove to be a turning point for the Sixers, who had lost 106 straight games when trailing by 14 or more points on the road going into the fourth quarter. |

03-05-23 | Blazers v. Magic OVER 228.5 | Top | 122-119 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show |
The Portland Trail Blazers have dropped three in a row and five of their last six to fall a season-high five games under .500. The Trail Blazers will bid to stop their slide on Sunday when they visit the Orlando Magic in the second contest of a six-game road trip. "We're not playing great," Portland coach Chauncey Billups said following Friday's 129-111 setback to the Atlanta Hawks. "Every team has these lapses during the season and that's exactly where we're at." Damian Lillard continued his hot hand, however, by recording 33 points and eight assists against the Hawks. The seven-time All-Star drained five 3-pointers on Friday and has made 41 over his last seven games. Lillard, who is averaging a team-best 32.3 points per game, scored 30 in Portland's 109-106 home loss to Orlando on Jan. 10. Jusuf Nurkic collected 22 points and 10 rebounds and Anfernee Simons added 15 in that game, however both players are nursing injuries. Nurkic has been out for over a month due to an ailing calf, while Simons and Justise Winslow are dealing with ankle injuries. |

03-03-23 | Grizzlies v. Nuggets UNDER 233.5 | Top | 97-113 | Win | 100 | 2 h 0 m | Show |
Under is 19-7 in Grizzlies last 26 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. |
02-26-23 | Clippers v. Nuggets OVER 233 | Top | 124-134 | Win | 100 | 11 h 0 m | Show |
The Denver Nuggets are the team that will be playing the second game of a back-to-back set, but it might be the Los Angeles Clippers who feel more fatigued, despite having an off day Saturday. That's because Los Angeles played in the second-highest-scoring game in NBA history on Friday night, a 176-175 loss to the Kings. It took two overtimes before Sacramento outlasted the Clippers, who now play at Denver on Sunday night. The Nuggets had their four-game winning streak snapped in a 112-94 loss at Memphis on Saturday night in a game that wasn't competitive for most of the night. Sunday will be the fourth and final regular-season meeting between the Clippers and Nuggets and the last chance Los Angeles has to get a win over the top team in the Western Conference. It also marks the return of Bones Hyland, the Nuggets' No. 1 draft pick in 2021 who was dealt to the Clippers for two second-round picks at the trade deadline earlier this month. |

02-08-23 | Spurs v. Raptors UNDER 233 | Top | 98-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 30 m | Show |
After a 4-3 road trip, the Toronto Raptors will open a five-game homestand Wednesday night against the floundering San Antonio Spurs. The Raptors completed their trip with a 106-103 victory over the undermanned Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. Still without O.G. Anunoby because of a wrist injury, the Raptors overcame a 15-point deficit against the Grizzlies, who were without starters Ja Morant, Steven Adams and Dillon Brooks. "It's a great way to end the trip," said Fred VanVleet, who scored 15 points on Sunday. "We competed and I thought we played some really good basketball for the majority of a long trip like this for a young team like ourselves, we got to close it out with that fourth quarter on a night where nothing really was going our way. We hung in there and made a couple more plays at the end and came out with a victory. "Rightfully so, we're going to criticize ourselves and be harder on ourselves, but we should be proud of our effort and being able to come out here with a win (Sunday)." The Spurs have lost nine straight after losing to the Chicago Bulls 128-104 Monday night to begin a nine-game road trip. Keldon Johnson led San Antonio with 21 points. |
02-03-23 | Suns v. Celtics OVER 222.5 | Top | 106-94 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 11 m | Show |
Devin Booker is expected to be back in the Phoenix lineup soon, but his return may not come in time to help the Suns when they visit the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Booker has missed nearly six weeks with a groin strain and according to multiple reports, he will be with the Suns for their five-game road trip that begins Friday. Booker left a game against Denver on Christmas and hasn't played since. ESPN reported that Booker is targeting Tuesday's road game against the Brooklyn Nets for his return. Booker is in his eighth season with the Suns. He's averaging a career-high 27.1 points in 29 games this season, with the Suns going 8-11 during his absence. He also missed five games earlier in the season with hamstring soreness. Phoenix trailed throughout Wednesday night's 132-100 home loss to Atlanta. The Suns were 4 of 28 from 3-point range (14.3 percent) and committed 16 turnovers that led to 31 points for the Hawks. |
01-30-23 | Lakers v. Nets OVER 229.5 | Top | 104-121 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 38 m | Show |
The Los Angeles Lakers left Boston frustrated by a loss on Saturday. The Brooklyn Nets, on the other hand, are holding their own with Kyrie Irving leading the way as Kevin Durant remains out with an MCL sprain. The two will meet Monday night in Brooklyn when the Lakers will play without two of their own stars -- LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Lakers said Sunday that James will be sidelined by left ankle soreness and Davis by a right foot stress injury. Austin Reaves also is out with a left hamstring strain. Lonnie Walker IV is probable with left knee tendinitis. The Lakers are 4-6 in their past 10 since winning five straight Dec. 30-Jan. 7. Four of those defeats were by five or fewer points, including Saturday's 125-121 overtime loss to the Celtics that left the Lakers encouraged by their showing and also peeved. |
01-15-23 | Kings v. Spurs UNDER 247 | Top | 132-119 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
The Sacramento Kings look to build on a three-game winning streak and on their best start in 17 years when they square off against the struggling San Antonio Spurs on Sunday in the Alamo City. The matchup is between the highest-scoring team in the NBA (Sacramento) and the squad that allows the most points in the league (San Antonio). The Kings (23-18) are five games over .500 for the first time since 2006, which is also the most recent year Sacramento has earned a spot in the postseason. The Kings head to Texas after a 139-114 home win over Houston on Friday -- the second win over the Rockets in a two-day span. Domantas Sabonis had 19 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high 16 assists to produce his fourth triple-double of the season and set the pace for Sacramento. Harrison Barnes had a team-high 27 points for the Kings, De'Aaron Fox added 24, Terence Davis scored 22, Malik Monk hit for 15 and Trey Lyles tallied 13 off the bench as Sacramento shot 54.7 percent from the floor and canned 20 of their 40 3-point attempts. The victory was punctuated by the fourth-quarter ejections of the Kings' Monk and Chimezie Metu and Houston's Garrison Mathews and Tari Eason when two pairs tussled after Matthews fouled Monk during the chase for a loose ball. |
01-13-23 | Pelicans v. Pistons UNDER 235 | Top | 116-110 | Win | 100 | 7 h 4 m | Show |
The New Orleans Pelicans go from one extreme to the other in their current five-game road trip. The Boston Celtics notched their NBA-best 30th victory with a 125-114 win over the Pelicans on Wednesday. New Orleans now visits Detroit on Friday -- the Pistons lead the league in losses with 33. The Pelicans have the Western Conference's third-best record but have lost five of their last seven games. They're trying to survive without two of their top players, as Zion Williamson (hamstring) and Brandon Ingram (toe contusion) remain out indefinitely. New Orleans stuck close most of the way in Boston behind CJ McCollum, who poured in 38 points. |
01-12-23 | Thunder v. 76ers UNDER 233.5 | Top | 133-114 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 40 m | Show |
The Philadelphia 76ers had little trouble dispatching the depleted Detroit Pistons in consecutive games. The task will be a bit more daunting when the Sixers host the improved Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Joel Embiid led the way with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots in a 147-116 rout of the Pistons on Tuesday. James Harden added his 72nd career triple-double with 16 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds. "They had tons of guys out. They're injured," Sixers coach Doc Rivers said of the Pistons. "They're young, and so, you know, for us, I just thought we had a professional game. We came out and played the right way. Built the lead and got our guys that need to play some minutes, which was great." Embiid had missed the three previous games with left foot soreness, so his stellar play had to be encouraging. |
12-31-22 | Cavs v. Bulls UNDER 224.5 | Top | 103-102 | Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
The Cleveland Cavaliers, coming off a trio of rough defensive showings, hope to snap their three-game losing streak on Saturday night when they visit the Chicago Bulls. Cleveland is in the midst of its second-longest skid of the season and faces the possibility of Darius Garland sitting out due to a sprained right thumb. Garland was injured Thursday in the fourth quarter of the Cavaliers' 135-126 loss at Indiana when he collided with Pacers forwards Oshae Brissett and Jalen Smith. The Cavaliers won eight of their first nine games this season, when they were allowing 103.9 points per contest. Then came a five-game losing streak from Nov. 7-13 when the Cavaliers allowed 118.8 points per game and 51.1 percent from the field. Cleveland followed up its five-game slide by winning 14 of 19 starting with a double-overtime victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Nov. 18. During the 19-game run, the Cavaliers allowed 101 points per game and earned nine double-digit wins. The final game of the hot streak was a 114-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 21. Since then, the Cavaliers dropped home games to the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets before allowing their highest point total of the season at Indiana. |
12-31-22 | Knicks v. Rockets UNDER 224 | Top | 108-88 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show |
Momentum is fickle, and over the course of an 82-game schedule, there are enough twists and turns to make sustained excellence difficult for most teams. As recently as Dec. 20, the New York Knicks were riding high. On that date, the Knicks extended their winning streak to a season-best eight consecutive games with a 132-94 dismantling of the Golden State Warriors that seemed to confirm that all of their pieces were meshing perfectly. The Knicks have not tasted victory since. On Thursday, they suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, a 122-115 road loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the second stop of the "Texas Triangle" that will end on Saturday against the host Houston Rockets. The Knicks were again without guard Jalen Brunson (hip) and forward RJ Barrett (finger), and their absences have played a role in the team's ineffective play of late. However, much of the blame can be linked to the Knicks' defense, which has the worst defensive rating in the league -- 125.6 points per possession allowed -- during their losing skid. The Knicks are 11th overall in defensive rating on the season, according to NBA.com. |
12-31-22 | Mavs v. Spurs UNDER 231.5 | Top | 126-125 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
The Dallas Mavericks will look to expand on a five-game winning streak when they travel south to square off against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday in this season's first battle between the Lone Star State rivals. The Mavericks have been rolling over the past two weeks, riding otherworldly play from superstar Luka Doncic and a solid contribution from the team's role players to their most successful stint of the campaign. Dallas heads to the Alamo City after a 129-114 win at home over Houston on Thursday in which Doncic racked up his second straight triple-double, amassing 35 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds. It was his eighth triple-double of the season. The Mavericks' supporting cast was up to the task, too, on Thursday. Christian Wood added 21 points, Dwight Powell went 8 of 8 from the floor and tallied a season-high 19 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. had 18 points and Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 15. "I did ask a couple of players that we needed to step up and not wait for Luka, and they responded," Dallas coach Jason Kidd said. "We talked about it before the game and they understand the time or the stress we put on Luka. So we needed some guys to be able to get some easy baskets and take that stress off of him, and they did that tonight." The Mavericks, who rely mostly on execution in half-court sets, had a season-best 25 fast-break points in Thursday's win. It's taken awhile but Dallas is finally coming together and look capable of making a repeat run deep into the playoffs. |
12-28-22 | Lakers v. Heat UNDER 225.5 | Top | 98-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show |
The Miami Heat conclude a four-game homestand on Wednesday, hosting a Los Angeles Lakers team at the midpoint of a pivotal five-game road swing. Los Angeles won the second game of its road trip Tuesday, snapping a four-game skid with a 129-110 rout of Orlando. Russell Westbrook went for a triple-double of 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists. "I have a responsibility when I have the ball in my hands to make guys better," Westbrook said in his postgame interview with Spectrum SportsNet. "I take pride in that." LeBron James scored 28 points despite shooting 0-of-7 from beyond the 3-point arc. Thomas Bryant scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Troy Brown Jr. scored 15 points, Patrick Beverley added 14 points and Lonnie Walker IV chipped in 10. The win marked a significant turnaround from the defensive woes that had plagued the Lakers over the previous four games, including the trip-opening loss on Christmas Day at Dallas. The 124-115 defeat capped a stretch of the Lakers allowing 130.5 points per game over the four-game skid. In each of its last seven losses, Los Angeles has given up at least 122 points. The Lakers have not allowed more than 119 points in any of their last five wins, dating back to Dec. 4. |
12-27-22 | Lakers v. Magic UNDER 235.5 | Top | 129-110 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 37 m | Show |
Two teams trending in opposite directions will meet when the Orlando Magic host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. While Orlando has won eight of its last nine, Los Angeles has lost four in a row. The Lakers began a five-game trip with a 124-115 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. After taking a nine-point lead into halftime, Los Angeles was outscored 51-21 during a disastrous third quarter. "We have to know that it's a 48-minute game; it's not a 24-minute game," Los Angeles coach Darvin Ham said. "We kind of took our foot off the pedal defensively. To give up a 51-point third quarter is just unacceptable. It's completely unacceptable. That's not who we are. That's not who we're going to be." Lakers star LeBron James scored 38 points in the loss. His seven-game streak of at least 30 points is the longest active streak in the league. Los Angeles is being forced to rely on James minus center Anthony Davis, who is out indefinitely with a stress injury in his right foot. |
12-21-22 | Bulls v. Hawks UNDER 236 | Top | 110-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 2 m | Show |
The Bulls bounced back on Tuesday after taking a 150-126 beating from the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday in Minneapolis. It was the fourth-most points Chicago has given up in regulation and the most since the Bulls allowed 152 against the Detroit Pistons on Nov. 3, 1982. "It's always great to win, but it's more about how you play," Chicago coach Billy Donovan said after the victory at Miami. "How you play as a group and how you play as a team. It was great to see their hard work rewarded because I felt they put a lot of effort into the game." Nikola Vucevic had 29 points and 12 rebounds for his 14th double-double, DeMar DeRozan had 24 points and Zach LaVine scored 21 against the Heat. "It was good to get a win, get that positive feeling a little bit, especially after that very tough, terrible loss," Vucevic said. "It was needed. Hopefully, we can learn from this." Chicago's Derrick Jones Jr. left the Tuesday game in the third quarter due to a left ankle sprain and did not return. Atlanta's Clint Capela (right calf strain) will miss his third consecutive game on Wednesday. |
11-29-22 | Warriors v. Mavs UNDER 228 | Top | 113-116 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 15 m | Show |
Seeing the Golden State Warriors might be the inspiration the Dallas Mavericks need to end a four-game losing streak when last year's Western Conference finalists meet for the first time this season on Tuesday night in Dallas. The Mavericks weren't convinced the better team had won after the Warriors took advantage of a cold-shooting Dallas squad to claim a berth in the 2022 NBA Finals with a 4-1 triumph. Golden State outshot the Mavericks 51.8% to 43.7% from the field, allowing the Warriors to overcome nine more turnovers and 14 fewer free-throw points in the series. Since they last met in June, the Mavericks have made the most significant transaction, replacing steady guard Jalen Brunson (lost to the New York Knicks in free agency) with a talented big man Christian Wood, who came over from Houston. |
11-29-22 | Knicks v. Pistons UNDER 226.5 | Top | 140-110 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 58 m | Show |
The Knicks already have beaten the Pistons twice, both at Madison Square Garden. The first meeting was a 130-106 blowout on Oct. 21. Then on Nov. 11, R.J. Barrett had a 30-point game in a 121-112 victory. Following Tuesday's contest, New York returns home for four games. The Pistons have the worst record in the league (5-17), in part because they've been decimated by injuries. Star guard Cade Cunningham is pondering season-ending shin surgery. A trio of other starters missed their 102-94 loss to Cleveland on Sunday. Bojan Bogdanovic and Jaden Ivey sat out with knee soreness while Isaiah Stewart was sidelined by a toe injury. Saddiq Bey, the team's other regular starter, scored 15 points after missing the previous four games due to an ankle injury. Detroit led by five entering the fourth quarter but were then outscored 29-16. |
11-26-22 | Jazz v. Suns UNDER 233 | Top | 112-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 6 m | Show |
Phoenix beat Detroit 108-102 on Friday night despite shooting 24.1 percent beyond the arc. The Suns shot 48.3 percent overall, with Deandre Ayton leading the way by hitting 11 of 13 shots en route to 28 points. "Although we didn't make the shots we wanted, the defensive intensity was still there," Ayton said. "That is what really put us in position to win the game." Ayton also grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots. He had a key putback bucket with 1:34 remaining vs. the Pistons to increase Phoenix's lead to five. "He did a real good job on screens tonight, and it opened him up for baskets," teammate Cameron Payne said. "Sometimes, that's how it goes. You sacrifice your body and then you're the one who gets the reward." Both teams will be without their veteran starting point guard. Chris Paul has been out seven games with a sore right heel, while the Jazz have struggled with Mike Conley (knee) sidelined during their latest losing streak. Phoenix has replaced Utah atop the Western Conference standings since the two teams last met. |
11-26-22 | Thunder v. Rockets OVER 231 | Top | 105-118 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Houston coach Stephen Silas has spoken often about the need for the Rockets to be rewarded for their effort, to glean something tangible from spirited showings beyond another close defeat. The Rockets finally secured a much-needed victory on Friday, outlasting the visiting Atlanta Hawks 128-122 by surrendering only 18 points in the fourth quarter while producing a plus-31 rebounding margin -- including 22 offensive boards that yielded 37 second-chance points. After surveying the celebratory mood in the locker room following a win that snapped a four-game homecourt losing skid, Silas recognized that the moment was short-lived at best. "They obviously were excited, and I was happy for them," Silas said. "And then they said we've got another one tomorrow. That's the beauty of the NBA. You've got another one tomorrow." The Rockets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back for both. The Thunder topped the Chicago Bulls 123-119 in overtime on Friday. |
11-20-22 | Hornets v. Wizards UNDER 221 | Top | 102-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards are coming off Friday night games that had something in common, as neither was decided in regulation. From there, there were different routes. So expect the Wizards to be in a little better shape when the teams meet Sunday night in Washington. The Wizards beat the visiting Miami Heat 107-106 in overtime for their fifth victory in their last six games. The Hornets have to search for any positives, particularly after a bizarre double-overtime loss at Cleveland. Charlotte came back from 10 down in the final 45 seconds of regulation and then was in a position to win in the first overtime before ultimately suffering its 10th loss in the last 11 games. "You have to be able to handle disappointment, frustration, and success and move on," Hornets coach Steve Clifford said. "There's a lot to learn from (a game like that)." Washington's stretch of positive results began with a 108-100 victory Nov. 7 at Charlotte. |
11-19-22 | Jazz v. Blazers UNDER 228 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 52 m | Show |
The Utah Jazz doesn't have much time to celebrate a thrilling 134-133 home win on Friday over the Phoenix Suns, a team that many consider to be the Western Conference favorite this season. A night after overcoming a 49-point performance by the Suns' Devin Booker, the Jazz visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night for another showdown with a team atop the early conference standings. The winner between the Blazers (10-5) and the Jazz (11-6) will own the best record in the West, for whatever that's worth at this point in the season. That's especially surprising, considering the two teams are winning at a higher rate than expected. As noted by The Oregonian, the Blazers' over/under for wins was 40.5 coming into the season. Utah, which traded away Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, had much lower outside expectations, including an over/under of 23.5 victories. Utah's chances of winning will be much greater if Lauri Markkanen, the surprising team's surprising All-Star candidate, has another outing like the one he produced Friday when he scored a career-high 38 points. |

11-09-22 | Knicks v. Nets OVER 223 | Top | 85-112 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
The New York Knicks have experienced both sides of the long-range game and figure to take advantage of what they have learned when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday in the first Big Apple showdown of the season. The Knicks hit a season-high 19 3-pointers in a victory at Minnesota on Monday, two days after they allowed 27 made baskets from distance in a home defeat to the Boston Celtics. Now the Knicks face the Nets, who entered play on Tuesday with the NBA's second-worst team at defending 3-pointers at 38.9 percent allowed. The Knicks have split their first 10 games and enter Wednesday shooting 34.8 percent from 3-point range, which is 22nd in the NBA. Last season, the Knicks were 13th at 35.7 percent and two seasons ago the Knicks made 39.2 percent from 3-point range, tying them for second-best with the Nets. In their five wins, the Knicks are averaging 121 points, and on Monday night they bounced back from the 133-118 loss to Boston for a 120-107 win at Minnesota. |

11-07-22 | Nets v. Mavs UNDER 217.5 | Top | 94-96 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
On Oct. 27, Luka Doncic visited the Brooklyn Nets and scored 41 points in a dynamic triple-double as the Dallas Mavericks held on for a four-point overtime victory. Doncic will attempt to match his previous effort against Brooklyn on Monday night when the Mavericks host the Nets, who aim to put a turbulent week in their rearview. Doncic heads into Monday averaging a career-best 36 points and is the second player in NBA history to open with at least eight straight games of at least 30 points. The only other player to start that hot was Wilt Chamberlain when the Hall of Fame center scored at least 30 points in 23 straight to start the 1962-63 season when he averaged 44.8 points per game for the San Francisco Warriors. |
11-07-22 | Blazers v. Heat OVER 215 | Top | 110-107 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
The Miami Heat have played two straight games without their leading scorer, Jimmy Butler, who has been absent due to a sore left hip. The Portland Trail Blazers have played four straight games without their leading scorer, Damian Lillard, due to a strained right calf. Even worse for the Trail Blazers, they've played two straight games without starting guard Anfernee Simons, who has left foot inflammation. The Blazers and Heat will hope to welcome back these important pieces on Monday when Portland visits Miami. Lillard, who is averaging 31.0 points, was upgraded to questionable for Monday. Simons, who is second on the Blazers in scoring (22.0) and third in assists (3.9), is doubtful. Butler, who leads Miami in points (21.5) and ranks second in assists (5.5) and rebounds (6.4), could also be back on Monday after the Heat didn't list him on their injury report. The Heat, who are set to start a four-game homestand, are coming off a two-point loss at the Indiana Pacers. On the bright side, the Heat have won two straight home games, and coach Erik Spoelstra is optimistic. |
10-31-22 | Pacers v. Nets OVER 235 | Top | 109-116 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 25 m | Show |
Six games in, the Brooklyn Nets are a defensive disaster -- the word coach Steve Nash used after the latest loss. Struggling to defend anyone, the Nets attempt to halt an ugly four-game losing streak Monday night when they conclude a two-game series with the visiting Indiana Pacers. Brooklyn's 1-5 start is its worst since it dropped the first seven games of its forgettable 2015-16 campaign. That startled coach Lionel Hollins getting fired after 37 games, a 20-62 record, and Sean Marks being hired as the general manager in February 2016. On Saturday, the Nets allowed an opposing player to score at least 30 points for the fourth straight game in a 125-116 loss, resulting in a postgame players meeting. The Nets matched a team record by allowing 23 3-pointers, the second straight time they allowed an opponent to make half of its 3-point tries after Dallas hit 20 in Thursday's 129-125 overtime loss. |
10-30-22 | Wizards v. Celtics UNDER 221.5 | Top | 94-112 | Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards have taken similar paths to 3-2 starts, each losing on Friday and having an overtime setback as part of their early-season schedules. The two teams will look to right the ship when they meet Sunday night at Boston. Double-digit leads in the first half were for naught in Boston's last two games, including Friday's 132-123 overtime setback to Cleveland. "We have to learn how to win again," Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla said. "Each season, coming into it, you're not guaranteed to win. So, it's valuing the ball, it's knowing tendencies and boxing out and rebounding. Just the fundamentals." The Celtics led by as many as 15 points on their way to a 75-point first half against the Cavaliers. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum each finished the game with 32 points. The Cleveland scoring duo of Caris LeVert and Donovan Mitchell had 41 points apiece, but Boston committed 19 turnovers and also allowed nine offensive rebounds in the setback. |
10-18-22 | Lakers v. Warriors UNDER 225.5 | Top | 109-123 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 33 m | Show |
The defending champion Golden State Warriors tip off their bid to repeat Tuesday night against an opponent that knows a little about going back-to-back when they host the Los Angeles Lakers in a nationally televised NBA opener. The Warriors had the third-best record in the Western Conference in the regular season before veterans Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala led a 16-6 playoff run to their fourth title in eight years. Curry earned Western Conference Finals and NBA Finals Most Valuable Player honors, capping a season in which he overtook Ray Allen for the all-time lead in 3-pointers. The Warriors, who put together back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018, will begin their quest for five titles in nine years against the same opponent they saw on Opening Night a year ago. Last time, the game was played in Los Angeles, where Golden State ignited an 18-2 start to the season with a 121-114 victory. |
10-08-22 | Hawks v. Bucks OVER 223 | Top | 118-109 | Win | 100 | 1 h 19 m | Show |
The first of two preseason games against the Milwaukee Bucks could not have gone any better for the Atlanta Hawks. All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray fit right in with his new teammates, and the team defense was unrecognizable compared to last year. Of course, it was just one preseason game. So we should be careful about counting our chickens before they hatch. Especially given the fact that the Bucks took a different approach to the exhibition game compared to the Hawks. For example, their starting unit averaged 22 minutes. |
05-27-22 | Heat v. Celtics OVER 201 | Top | 111-103 | Win | 100 | 11 h 13 m | Show |
The over is 5-2 in their last 7 meetings in Boston and 10-4 in their last 14 overall. The over has cashed 9 of 12 when the Heat play teams with winning records. |
04-23-22 | Mavs v. Jazz OVER 212 | Top | 99-100 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 30 m | Show |
The public is all over the under in this one and I think they're right. It will be very important to get the right number, but the under is 43-20 in the Mav's last 63 games as a dog. The under is 20-8-1 when playing on one days rest. |
04-22-22 | Heat v. Hawks UNDER 222 | Top | 110-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
Two big trends going in this one. First, the under is 31-12 when the Heat play a team with a winning SU record and the Heat really seem to clamp down in the postseason with unders cashing 15 of their last 20 quarterfinal playoff games. |
04-02-22 | Hornets v. 76ers OVER 226.5 | Top | 114-144 | Win | 100 | 2 h 54 m | Show |
The over in this series is 7-2-1 in their last 10 meetings, 7-2-1 when the Hornets face a team with a winning SU record. The over is 5-1 in the Sixers last 6 games playing on one days rest. |
04-01-22 | Suns v. Grizzlies UNDER 229.5 | Top | 114-122 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
This series has been an under series for a couple of seasons, with 7 of their last 9 cashing under tickets. Thunder is also 4-1 in Memphis. When the Suns go on the road against the home teams in the league their strategy has always been defense first. |
03-31-22 | Clippers v. Bulls OVER 222.5 | Top | 130-135 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
There are many reasons why the under is the under is the attractive option in this one, but if we look at recent form the Clippers have just finished playing a 236 point game against the Jazz two nights ago, they gave up 122 point to the 76ers before that, and a 242 point game against Denver. If the Clippers do their part, this game goes over. |
03-20-22 | Suns v. Kings UNDER 232.5 | Top | 127-124 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
Phoenix has been an over machine but the oddsmakers have adjusted, making this number too high for my taste. The under is 7-3 when the Kings are coming off a loss of 10 or more because they put their focus back on defense. |
03-13-22 | 76ers v. Magic UNDER 224 | Top | 116-114 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The public is pounding the over in this one, with the over cashing 4 of 5 in this series. However, the Magic have played in 5 straight unders and 7 of 8, including 5 straight as a dog. We'll take the the generous number in this one. |
03-11-22 | Raptors v. Suns OVER 221.5 | Top | 117-112 | Win | 100 | 13 h 22 m | Show |
The Raptors have produced 5 straight unders, while the Suns have a modest 2 game streak but you have to know when these trends will stop and I think tonight's the night. Over the last 8 games in Phoenix, the over has cashed 6 times and the Raptors seem to always get into high paced games against the better teams in the league. This number is too low. |
03-11-22 | Jazz v. Spurs OVER 229 | Top | 102-104 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 11 m | Show |
Utah comes into this one on a 4 game under streak while the Spurs have produced 4 unders in their last 5 games, but the key is to pick the numbers that seem to beg you to go against those trends and 229 certainly does that for me. The over is 13-5 when the Spurs play teams above .500, this game is a track meet. |
03-11-22 | Wolves v. Magic OVER 233 | Top | 110-118 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 50 m | Show |
The T'Wolves have covered 7 of their last 8 games but it's the total that has me intrigued. There are some totals that seem to beg you to go one way and that's the case here. Minnesota has cashed two straight unders and Orlando is on a 6 of 7 streak, but we know that this is an over series especially when they play in Orlando (8-3). This number wants you on the under but we're not falling for that. |
03-07-22 | Rockets v. Heat OVER 225.5 | Top | 106-123 | Win | 100 | 13 h 46 m | Show |
The public has already pushed this opening number up from its opener of 225. There are even better numbers if you shop. It's a predictable movement considering the Heat just played in a game that featured 180 points but the Heat have a tendency to have no problem putting up points against the worst teams in the league. This number is generous. |
03-06-22 | Knicks v. Clippers UNDER 219.5 | Top | 116-93 | Win | 100 | 12 h 37 m | Show |
The New York Knicks have cashed 6 straight overs and 12 of 15 while the Clippers are fresh off a 243 total points performance against the Lakers. The public is eating it up, pushing this number from 216.5 to 219.5. The Knicks are 9-4 to the UNDER the game following a ATS cover while the Clippers cashed under tickets in 13 of 18 games against the worst teams in the league. |
03-05-22 | Spurs v. Hornets OVER 238 | Top | 117-123 | Win | 100 | 9 h 56 m | Show |
San Antonio and Charlotte rank top-ten in points per game, bottom-five in points allowed, top-four in pace in the league, which means fans will likely be in for an abundance of offensive fireworks on Saturday night. |
03-03-22 | Bulls v. Hawks UNDER 232.5 | Top | 124-130 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 53 m | Show |
No one would mistake either one of these teams to be good defensive teams, but it does appear that the oddsmakers are giving the public a low enough number to entice them to take the over.  |
02-28-22 | Spurs v. Grizzlies UNDER 237 | Top | 105-118 | Win | 100 | 11 h 36 m | Show |
The Memphis Grizzlies are in relatively good shape, missing only their consistent provocateur in Dillon Brooks from their list of major contributors, and slowly but steadily pulling themselves up the defensive rankings, while continuing to field a top-five offense as well. |
01-31-22 | Raptors v. Hawks UNDER 220 | Top | 106-100 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
The Raptors play at one of the slowest paces in the league, and only four teams turn the ball over less. They are one piece away from being making noise in the playoffs. But tonight, they are focused on not losing ground to the red-hot Hawks. |
01-27-22 | Lakers v. 76ers UNDER 218.5 | Top | 87-105 | Win | 100 | 6 h 39 m | Show |
As of Wednesday, Danny Green (right hip pain) was upgraded to questionable for the next contest. Seth Curry (left ankle soreness), Shake Milton (back contusion), and Ben Simmons (personal reasons) remain out. The Sixers assigned rookie Jaden Springer and transferred two-way contract player Myles Powell to the Delaware Blue Coats. Paul Reed remains on assignment. After a 17-game absence for the Lakers, Anthony Davis (knee) played 25 minutes and tallied eight points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocks in their most recent game. Davis was listed as probable against the Sixers entering gameday morning. Sekou Doumbouya (G League - Two-Way), Mason Jones (G League - Two-Way), and Kendrick Nunn (right knee bone bruise) are out. Too many moving parts for both teams to produce offensive consistency |
01-23-22 | Celtics v. Wizards UNDER 216 | Top | 116-87 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show |
The Celtics are shooting just 44% this season even though we know the Wizards are still an all offense basketball team. Boston is good enough to hold the inconsistent Wizards down. |
01-22-22 | Pacers v. Suns UNDER 220.5 | Top | 103-113 | Win | 100 | 7 h 37 m | Show |
The under in this series has cashed 6 of the last 7 games at the Footprint Center. The Pacers are coming off a huge upset on the road against the Golden State Warriors, scoring 121 points in the win. I expect the Pacers to come back down to earth in this match-up. |
01-18-22 | Pistons v. Warriors UNDER 218.5 | Top | 86-102 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
Curry has been dealing with some right (shooting) hand soreness that caused him to miss Sunday's game vs. Minnesota. Maybe that hand explains why Curry is shooting just 35.4 percent this month and 29.9 percent from deep. His scoring average is only 19.6 points in January, and he's down to sixth in the league at 26.3 ppg. Thus, the MVP race could be far from over also involving Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo (+300) and Denver's Nikola Jokic (+600). |
01-18-22 | Wolves v. Knicks UNDER 214 | Top | 112-110 | Loss | -104 | 5 h 4 m | Show |
The Wolves allowed fewer than 100 points for the 13th time and also held the Warriors to 39 percent shooting, marking the second time in the past six contests they held an opponent under 40 percent. Not great for the Knicks who are coming off a horrible shooting night. |
01-16-22 | Warriors v. Wolves OVER 216 | Top | 99-119 | Win | 100 | 6 h 2 m | Show |
Minnesota fell to Golden State 123-110 in the teams' first meeting this season despite a career-high 48 points from Anthony Edwards in San Francisco. Home teams have won the previous seven meetings between the two teams, with the Timberwolves winning their four previous contests at Target Center versus the Warriors. |
01-11-22 | Warriors v. Grizzlies UNDER 221 | Top | 108-116 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 43 m | Show |
This is the third duel of the season series between both teams, being teams from the same Conference, these duels are of vital importance for future tiebreakers at the end of the season. At the moment, the series is tied at 1 game per side, the first of them was a Memphis victory by a score of 104 to 101, while the second was a Golden State victory with a score of 113 to 104. Both duels were led to out at the Chase Center and it will be time for the Grizzlies to look to weigh the home ground. Despite the impact of the match-up in the west, the bookmakers are begging you to take the over in this one.  |
01-06-22 | Clippers v. Suns OVER 220 | Top | 89-106 | Loss | -113 | 8 h 18 m | Show |
When they’re down a couple of guys, these Clippers have quite the knack for pulling themselves back from the brink, or beating a team they’d be expected to take some hits from even when fully healthy. On the other hand, they’ve also shown themselves capable of letting games go against sides they’d expect to be taking to task. Luckily for Ty Lue’s men, their next opponents, the Phoenix Suns, fall very much into the former category, and this squad already has the muscle memory of picking up a win against last year’s Western Conference champions with key players sitting it out on the sidelines. |
01-02-22 | Mavs v. Thunder OVER 208.5 | Top | 95-86 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 32 m | Show |
The Dallas Mavericks will ring in 2022 and finish a five-game road trip in Oklahoma City on Sunday evening in a game that resembles a round of COVID musical chairs. A trio of Dallas Mavericks were released from the NBA's health and safety protocols on Saturday and (depending on conditioning) able to play vs. the Thunder, First-team All-NBA star Luka Doncic, starter Tim Hardaway Jr. and top rotation player Maxi Kleber were not included on the Mavericks’ afternoon injury/health update. After missing the last 10 games, Doncic back in the lineup would be a sight for sore eyes as Dallas went 5-5 without him. Jalen Brunson has stepped up in Doncic's absence, scoring in double figures in a career-best 16 consecutive games. |
01-01-22 | Clippers v. Nets OVER 213.5 | Top | 120-116 | Win | 100 | 13 h 43 m | Show |
The over is 6-1 in this series and the over is 5-1 when the Clippers starting five play over 160 minutes the night before. The over is 9-4 in Nets last 13 following an ATS loss. |
12-31-21 | Heat v. Rockets OVER 216.5 | Top | 120-110 | Win | 100 | 5 h 33 m | Show |
The Heat have the challenge of facing a healthy Rockets roster. Herro remains as one of the few standing on this Heat’s roster as the last available starter, with Duncan Robinson being placed on the COVID health protocol list. There is a possibility that the Heat may see the return of both Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler, which should take a large burden off of the shoulders off Herro. Nonetheless, it could be a big night for the young superstar. |
12-25-21 | Hawks v. Knicks UNDER 212 | Top | 87-101 | Win | 100 | 5 h 14 m | Show |
The NBA has five marquee matchups on Christmas, beginning with the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks, who will battle at Madison Square Garden in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference playoffs. Yet, unlike last year’s playoff matchup, this contest will not feature Trae Young, Clint Capela, Danilo Gallinari, Kevin Huerter, Derrick Rose, Nerlens Noel, and more due to injuries and COVID-19 related issues. Atlanta will be without the majority of their normal rotation in this one, leading oddsmakers to price the Knicks as 7.5-point home favorites on the spread at online sportsbooks. |
12-18-21 | Knicks v. Celtics OVER 208.5 | Top | 107-114 | Win | 100 | 4 h 51 m | Show |
Starting center Al Horford and forwards Grant Williams and Sam Hauser were placed in COVID protocol earlier Friday. Celtics forwards Jabari Parker and Juancho Hernangomez landed in the protocol earlier in the week. Boston guard Dennis Schroder also missed the Golden State matchup with a non-COVID illness. I've always said that players out equal offense because the defensive effort, not offensive effort will take a hit. |
12-17-21 | Hornets v. Blazers UNDER 230.5 | Top | 116-125 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
Who defends worse than the Blazers? Why, the Charlotte Hornets! The Blazers are 27th in the NBA with a defensive rating of 112.4, but the Hornets are dead last at 114.0. Woof. We are in store for a contrast of styles in how the teams give up points though. Charlotte is 29th in the league at not giving up second-chance points, while Portland is actually 5th best. The problem for the Blazers is that opponents don’t have much need for second-chance points since they score so often at the first opportunity. |
12-16-21 | Knicks v. Rockets OVER 213.5 | Top | 116-103 | Win | 100 | 5 h 12 m | Show |
The Rockets are incredibly thin right now. Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green were their starting guards. Eric Gordon was the first backup guard off the bench. Danuel House Jr. is a key rotation piece, and Christian Wood is still Houston’s best big man. With so many players out, it wasn’t surprising that Houston’s defense struggled to contain Cleveland’s offense. I expect more of the same tonight. Remember, minute redistribution leads to higher scoring games because players want to impress with offense. |
12-15-21 | Lakers v. Mavs OVER 213 | Top | 107-104 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 19 m | Show |
Expect the Mavericks to take less 3's than normal, which may not look great while betting the over, but with the way they've been shooting from beyond the arc, it may be a blessing. I expect the Mavericks to get to the FT line more because they''ll be more aggressive to the rim. Perhaps they'll find their touch from 3 tonight but the game plan is to scrap the bombs away approach. |
12-14-21 | Warriors v. Knicks OVER 211.5 | Top | 105-96 | Loss | -107 | 5 h 21 m | Show |
This game is going to get bet down because of the trouble that Golden State had getting out of Indiana. They will arrive in New York just five hours before tip-off. Many think this hurts the offense but I've always thought this is a play to the offense because the rotation is deeper with guys who want to prove themselves. First game between these two flew over the total and this will too. |
12-12-21 | Pelicans v. Spurs UNDER 220 | Top | 97-112 | Win | 100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
While the Pelicans are still waiting for former top overall pick Zion Williamson to return from an offseason foot injury (and he’s close), Brandon Ingram is leading the charge with 22.7 ppg. While they aren’t a huge offensive threat — they sit just 26th in the league at scoring with 103.9 points per game — the real threat they represent to the Spurs in on the boards. |
12-12-21 | Mavs v. Thunder OVER 207 | Top | 103-84 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
The Thunder’s opponents on Sunday are a team that is littered with unrealised potential. When the Mavericks swung a trade for Kristaps Porzingis, there was an expectation that Dallas would kick on and start making deep playoff runs. This season feels like the Mavericks are stuck in the weeds. Dallas have one of the best young stars in the sport in Doncic but he has not performed at the same level that he did last year. Luka played a full Olympic campaign with Slovenia before taking time off from basketball before returning for training camp. |
12-11-21 | Warriors v. 76ers OVER 212.5 | Top | 93-102 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 48 m | Show |
Philadelphia’s defense is not well-equipped for this matchup against the Warriors. Golden State attempts the third-most three-pointers of any team in the NBA. Philadelphia ranks 20th in the league defending the perimeter this season, which was a problem in their last game as well–allowing the Utah Jazz to hit 15 shots from beyond the arc. Even though both teams come in playing well defensively, this game will fly over the total because of the Sixers perimeter defense. |
12-07-21 | Nets v. Mavs UNDER 221 | Top | 102-99 | Win | 100 | 5 h 22 m | Show |
The under has cashed four of the Mavs’ past five games played in the month of December. Though the team is 0-5 ATS in their previous five matches versus Eastern Conference opponents, and they are 1-4 SU in their prior five contests this season. Dallas has gone under the total in 10 of their previous 13 matches against Atlantic Division opponents. |
12-06-21 | 76ers v. Hornets OVER 216.5 | Top | 127-124 | Win | 100 | 6 h 32 m | Show |
The Hornets are three games into a five-game stretch facing some of the better teams in the Eastern Conference, and they are being forced to do so now without a host of key players who are under the league’s COVID protocols. After dropping games to Chicago and Milwaukee last week the shorthanded Hornets rallied for a great road win yesterday against the Atlanta Hawks. The Hornets will now host the Philadelphia 76ers tonight and in a bizarre scheduling quirk, the two teams will play again on Wednesday in Charlotte. With players out of the line-up I've always believed that it benefits the over because players back-ups aren't usually bringing a great defensive game to the table, they want to get out and run so they can show what they can do during their chance for more minutes. |
12-05-21 | Jazz v. Cavs UNDER 212.5 | Top | 109-108 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 2 m | Show |
In the Cavaliers last 10 games, they are 5-5, averaging 104.4 points, 46.9 rebounds, 23.7 assists, 6.0 steals and 4.8 blocks per game while shooting 44.2% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 101.1 points per game. |
12-02-21 | Bucks v. Raptors OVER 215.5 | Top | 93-97 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 21 m | Show |
The Bucks are still riding high, having won 8 straight contests and catapulting themselves into a three-way tie for 2nd place in the Eastern Conference (alongside the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls). They remain 1.5 games behind the East-leading Brooklyn Nets, and Milwaukee’s upcoming schedule is a relatively light stretch. Over this 8-game win streak, the Bucks have rediscovered their old habits. Statistically, they’re performing up to the level we expected them to (6th in Offensive Rating, 2nd in Defensive Rating, 2nd in Net Rating), and it’s no surprise that the streak coincides with the return of Khris Middleton. |
11-22-21 | Pacers v. Bulls UNDER 209 | Top | 109-77 | Win | 100 | 14 h 51 m | Show |
Head coach Rick Carlisle was very disappointed with his starters in the Indiana Pacers’ loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Only Malcolm Brogdon finished in double-figure scoring after Carlisle benched them for most of the second half of the game. The battle only got close because of the defense, energy and hustle of the second stringers. |

11-10-21 | Kings v. Spurs UNDER 224 | Top | 117-136 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 26 m | Show |
San Antonio owns the third-lowest foul rate in the league (17.1 PF), which has resulted in them sending their opponent to the line just 12.7 times per game this season. Playing disciplined defense has always been a hallmark of the Spurs throughout the Gregg Popovich era and despite their record we can still rely on them to be a good defensive team. |
11-09-21 | Hawks v. Jazz UNDER 221.5 | Top | 98-110 | Win | 100 | 17 h 12 m | Show |
Utah’s 6-1 record is every bit as impressive as their play early into the season. Coach Quin Snyder’s team ranks in the top 5 of most statistical categories on both ends of the floor. They stifle opponents on defense and can match any team’s firepower on offense. Look for the defense to carry the Jazz tonight. |
11-08-21 | Hawks v. Warriors UNDER 222 | Top | 113-127 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 49 m | Show |
The Golden State Warriors are fresh off of last night’s 120-107 smackdown of the Houston Rockets, but now a much more dangerous opponent is coming to town. The Atlanta Hawks, last year’s Eastern Conference finalist and the team that maybe ended Ben Simmons career, will be the Dubs’ foe on the second night of a back-to-back. The Hawks are 4-6 right now and looking to get on track after taking a loss to the Phoenix Suns in their last game. In that game alleged Stephen Curry clone Trae Young scored 31 points with 13 assists, but couldn’t get his team over the hump. He’ll have to deal with Golden State’s vaunted defense, currently ranked #1 in the NBA in defensive efficiency. Curry is playing arguably the best defense of his career. |
11-07-21 | Rockets v. Warriors OVER 220 | Top | 107-120 | Win | 100 | 17 h 41 m | Show |
The OVER is 6-1 when the Rockets are playing their second of back to back games, and 9-3 on the road against teams with a winning home record. There are many other trends that point to the UNDER but we're not falling for plays based on history. |
11-06-21 | Hawks v. Suns UNDER 225 | Top | 117-121 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 8 m | Show |
Against the Jazz, the Atlanta team shot at an abysmal rate from three with only 25% of their attempts converted missing 21 of the 28 attempts taken. Trae Young had 21 points with four rebounds and seven assists going 0-4 beyond the arc and only making eight of all 20 attempts. Collins, Hunter and Capela had a combined total of 40 points and the rest had below 10 points each. I need to see more consistency from the Hawks on the offensive side of the court but I do think they'll play much better on defense than they did against Utah. |
11-02-21 | Kings v. Jazz UNDER 220 | Top | 113-119 | Loss | -103 | 14 h 29 m | Show |
Utah is one of the best defensive teams in the league, giving up 98.3 points per game. They gave up 95 points in their last game against Milwaukee. The Kings have been disappointing from the three-point line. As a team, they are shooting 31.7% from downtown by landing 11.8 out of their 37.3 shots per game. In comparison, the Sacramento Kings opponents managed to maintain 32.9% from the three-point line. If this game goes under it will be because there was very little defense in the paint. |
11-01-21 | Magic v. Wolves UNDER 216.5 | Top | 115-97 | Win | 100 | 12 h 45 m | Show |
The Magic aren’t releasing much information regarding the progress of several key players on the injured list. According to Jack Robbins of the Athletic, this lack of transparency of the Magic is irking many fans. Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, and Chuma Okeke haven’t played a single game this season because of injuries. The Magic hasn’t given any timetable for all of them, which comes as a surprise to their fans. Fultz and Isaac are still recovering from knee injuries. Meanwhile, Okeke hasn’t played a single game this season due to a bone bruise in his hip. |
10-24-21 | Warriors v. Kings UNDER 232.5 | Top | 119-107 | Win | 100 | 15 h 8 m | Show |
The under in this series has cashed tickets in 9 of the last 13 meetings, while the under is 41-20 in the Warriors last 61 games when playing against teams with a losing home record. |
10-22-21 | Jazz v. Kings OVER 225.5 | Top | 110-101 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 19 m | Show |
The Kings have returned to their high-octane, quick-moving style of basketball that has served them well in the last few seasons. They opened their new campaign with a 124-121 win against the Portland Trail Blazers on opening night. Harrison Barnes had an excellent night, with 36 points to lead the scoring. He had a career-high eight treys. De'Aaron Fox managed 27 points while Richaun Holmes had a double-double of 21 points and 11 boards. The Kings will push the pace so we know that the game will be played with an over tempo. I think the Kings get Utah into a track meet because they can't win a defensive struggle. |
10-21-21 | Bucks v. Heat OVER 223.5 | Top | 95-137 | Win | 100 | 16 h 51 m | Show |
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks did not let their ring ceremony get in the way as they easily handled the Nets at home 127-104 on opening night. In his first game since scoring 50 points in a title-clinching Game 6 NBA Finals victory over the Phoenix Suns, Antetokounmpo had 32 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists. Khris Middleton and Pat Connaughton each added 20 points to help the Bucks withstand the loss of Jrue Holiday, who sat out the second half with a bruised right heel after scoring 12 points. Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said MRI results on Holiday were encouraging. His status for this game remains questionable |
07-14-21 | Suns v. Bucks OVER 220.5 | Top | 103-109 | Loss | -109 | 6 h 56 m | Show |
Antetokounmpo dominated in Games 2 and as he recorded at least 40 points and 10 rebounds in each game He needs to stay aggressive despite any struggles from the foul line, limit his jump shot attempts, and put pressure on the rim as much as possible. If he can get Deandre Ayton in foul trouble again like he did in Game 3, the Bucks will be in a great spot. |
07-08-21 | Bucks v. Suns OVER 220.5 | Top | 108-118 | Win | 100 | 5 h 44 m | Show |
It was a great sign that Antetokounmpo was back and looked healthy in Game 1.. However, if the Bucks win Game 2, they need him to be the best player on the court and take more than 11 shots. Despite his contribution the game still flew over the total. Antetokounmpo needs to stay aggressive despite any struggles from the foul line, limit his jump-shot attempts, and put pressure on the rim as much as possible. If he can get Deandre Ayton in foul trouble (easier said than done - he has yet to pick up five fouls in any postseason game), the Bucks will be in a great spot. |
07-06-21 | Bucks v. Suns OVER 219 | Top | 105-118 | Win | 100 | 10 h 39 m | Show |
With Antetokounmpo unlikely to be at 100%, this significantly lowers the caliber of help defenders for the Bucks’ defense. Whether the Bucks choose to play a drop or switch more frequently as they did at the end of the Eastern Conference Finals, Paul should have opportunities to take advantage of this as he maneuvers into his patented mid-range jumpers (even if Holiday matches up against him defensively). |
07-03-21 | Bucks v. Hawks OVER 216 | Top | 118-107 | Win | 100 | 16 h 1 m | Show |
One place where Milwaukee can make a difference is in the pace of the game, taking more shots per game. If they can get Atlanta playing in transition without Trae Young, they can also force some turnovers as well. It might be more difficult with Giannis, but the Bucks were the top team in the NBA in offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, and total rebounds, and if they can crash the boards hard in game six, it'll generate second possessions and will allow them a better chance to stay in the game into the fourth. |
07-01-21 | Hawks v. Bucks OVER 215.5 | Top | 112-123 | Win | 100 | 13 h 39 m | Show |
Both teams may again be short-handed in Game 5. With a trip to the NBA Finals to play the Phoenix Suns on the line, both Milwaukee and Atlanta will need guys to step up more than ever. I've seen this before, both teams have injuries to their impact players and the public thinks that will hinder the offense.  |
06-29-21 | Bucks v. Hawks OVER 218 | Top | 88-110 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
Trae Young set the tone for the Bucks vs Hawks series as he scored 48 points in Game 1 to lead his team to victory. His brilliant performance in Game 3 gave the Hawks hopes to take a 2-1 lead, but they were left unfulfilled after he rolled his ankles in the 3rd quarter, which took the game away from them. His availability for this game is reported as questionable, but the fighter that Trae is, you can expect him to make an appearance in Game 4. Don't bet this TOTAL with the assumption that Young won't play or be less than 100% |
06-24-21 | Suns v. Clippers UNDER 222 | Top | 92-106 | Win | 100 | 7 h 6 m | Show |
While the Suns won Game 1 as they shot over 40% on threes, they struggled from beyond the arc in Game 2 as they made just six of 26 threes (23.1%). If their shooting gets back on track (they have shot 37.5% on threes this postseason), they should win as Paul and Booker’s midrange game and Ayton’s advantage in the post will give them too much firepower for the shorthanded Clippers without Leonard. |
06-23-21 | Hawks v. Bucks OVER 225.5 | Top | 116-113 | Win | 100 | 6 h 26 m | Show |
The Hawks had success with a bigger lineup against the 76ers as Danilo Gallinari, John Collins, and Clint Capela played well together. Gallinari’s shotmaking, Collins’s hustle plays, and Capela’s screen-setting, rebounding, and defense were all big reasons why the Hawks are in the conference finals. Gallinari will have a tougher time against the Bucks’ defense, but more importantly, playing him will be challenging for the Hawks defensively. The Hawks would have to pick their poison with either Gallinari or Collins on Middleton or forcing Young to guard Holiday. |
06-20-21 | Clippers v. Suns UNDER 221.5 | Top | 114-120 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 1 m | Show |
With all the unjuries and the fact that both teams are near the bottom in pace of play, this will be an easy UNDER. |
06-12-21 | Jazz v. Clippers UNDER 223 | Top | 106-132 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 35 m | Show |
Utah has been strong on the boards as the Jazz are averaging 45.7 rebounds per game with 35.5 on the defensive end and 10.2 per game off the offensive glass. This leads to limited second-chance points which is an OVER killer. |
06-11-21 | Suns v. Nuggets OVER 222.5 | Top | 116-102 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 42 m | Show |
The high-scoring Nuggets, who ended the regular season eighth in the NBA in points scored with an average of 115.1 points per game and are scoring an average 116.0 points per game during the postseason, must pick up there output or will be swept out of the playoffs by Phoenix. Denver’s head coach said his players played with no urgency and quit in Wednesday’s loss. Nikola Jokic, who earlier this week was named the NBA MVP, led Denver with 24 points and 13 rebounds. The Denver defense is giving up too much. The nuggets have allowed 115 points or more in 7 of 8 postseason games |
06-10-21 | Clippers v. Jazz UNDER 222 | Top | 111-117 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 27 m | Show |
"Playoff P (George)" has been inconsistent during his two seasons with Los Angeles in the playoffs. George went 4 for 17 shooting from the floor in Game 1, although he managed to finish with 20 points and 10 rebounds. It will be hard for Los Angles to advance much further unless they get better play from George in the series moving forward. Overall The Clippers shot 42.4% (26-85) from the floor, 38.1% (16-42) from three, and 87.5% (87.5$) from the line in the series-opening loss. |
06-09-21 | Nuggets v. Suns OVER 223 | Top | 98-123 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Denver is averaging 118.6 points per game in the playoffs and shooting 47.1% from the field as a team. The Nuggets have allowed 119.9 ppg on the defensive end, and opponents shot 48.5% from the field. |
06-08-21 | Hawks v. 76ers OVER 224 | Top | 102-118 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 36 m | Show |
The Hawks got off to a dream start in a series-opening game that looked like it was going to be a blowout through three quarters, although things got far too close for comfort in the last minute as they nearly collapsed. Atlanta piled up 74 points in the first half and led by as many as 25 points midway through the third. Philadelphia put together a massive rally to make it a one-possession game in the final minute, but Bogdan Bogdanovic hit a massive three and drained the game-winning free throws. |
06-07-21 | Nuggets v. Suns UNDER 221.5 | Top | 105-122 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 34 m | Show |
The Phoenix defense has been its key to success as the Suns allowed the Lakers to score an average of only 97.5 points per game in the six games of the first round. Phoenix guard Chris Paul struggled with a shoulder injury throughout the first round but is expected to be fully recovered for this semifinal series. |
