11-11-22 | Colorado v. USC -34 | Top | 17-55 | Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show |
The USC defense has excelled at generating turnovers, boasting 18 through nine games. Coupled with Williams' savvy play at quarterback -- he has thrown 28 touchdown passes against one interception -- the Trojans enjoy the nation's best turnover margin at plus-16 for the season. Colorado (1-8, 1-5) will try to jump-start its struggling offense, which ranks worst among all Power Five conference teams and ahead of only Colorado State and Massachusetts in FBS scoring averages. The Buffs are producing 15.6 points per game, backsliding after a promising, 34-point effort in an Oct. 29 loss to Arizona State. Colorado managed 10 points in a 39-point loss to Oregon last week. The Buffs have never beaten USC in program history, a streak encompassing 15 games and dating back to 1927. Since Colorado joined the Pac-12 in 2011, the Trojans have won the 10 meetings by an average of 17.4 points per game -- though three of the last six were decided by four points or fewer. |

11-10-22 | Tulsa v. Memphis -6.5 | Top | 10-26 | Win | 100 | 14 h 2 m | Show |
Memphis will look to end a four-game losing streak when it hosts struggling Tulsa in American Athletic Conference play on Thursday. The Tigers (4-5, 2-4 AAC) are coming off a 35-28 loss to visiting UCF in which the No. 25 Knights broke open a tie game with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to deal Memphis its longest losing streak since 2013. Tulsa (3-6, 1-4) fell behind 17-3 midway through the second quarter and never recovered in a 27-13 loss at No. 19 Tulane. It was the Golden Hurricane's fifth defeat in their past six games. Memphis must win two of its final three games to be bowl-eligible for the ninth straight season, while the Golden Hurricane must win their final three games to qualify for the postseason for the third straight year. |

11-09-22 | Buffalo v. Central Michigan OVER 54 | Top | 27-31 | Win | 100 | 11 h 11 m | Show |
UB comes up with takeaways in spurts – it came up with four or more in three games – and Central Michigan will be happy to oblige. The Chippewas are a horrendous -12 in turnover margin with two or more fumbles in five of the last six games. That should help provide plenty of scoring chances. |
|||||||
11-08-22 | Eastern Michigan v. Akron UNDER 57 | Top | 34-28 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The Eastern Michigan Eagles (5-4) travel to InfoCision Stadium as they match up against the Akron Zips (1-8) in a MACtion battle on Tuesday night. This will be the 33rd contest in history between these schools. Akron is leading the all-time series 19-14. Despite that, the Eagles are currently on a two-game winning streak. In 2019, Eastern Michigan beat Akron 42-14. |
|||||||
11-07-22 | Ravens v. Saints UNDER 46.5 | Top | 27-13 | Win | 100 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
The New Orleans Saints' first season since former coach Sean Payton's retirement has been a struggle. Yet first-year coach Dennis Allen's chances of salvaging this campaign rose considerably last week with a dominant, shutout victory that harkened back to the Saints squads that made four straight playoff appearances from 2017 to 2020. "Now the goal is to try to duplicate that," Allen said as New Orleans (3-5) headed into a major Monday night test against the well-rested Baltimore Ravens (5-3), who are trying to maintain their hold on first place in the AFC North. Still two games below .500 - but just one game out of first in an NFC South that has been rife with mediocrity - the Saints have been cautious about making too much out of one exceptional performance. "It was good because that was on par with who we are and what we're capable of doing," Saints linebacker and defensive captain Demario Davis said. "But there's still more out there and we've got to get it." The Ravens helped the Saints in Week 8, knocking off Tampa Bay in a Thursday night game. They've since had extra days to come up with ways to attack New Orleans. |

11-06-22 | Rams v. Bucs UNDER 42.5 | Top | 13-16 | Win | 100 | 6 h 31 m | Show |
When Tom Brady ended his brief retirement, citing "unfinished business" as motivation for continuing his record-breaking football career, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in last season's playoffs was still fresh on the Tampa Bay quarterback's mind. The last two Super Bowl winners meet Sunday for the fourth time in three seasons, but the 45-year-old Brady will be looking for a lot more than payback. The Buccaneers (3-5) have lost five of six following a 2-0 start. Brady has dropped three straight starts for the first time in two decades, and the seven-time NFL champion has been unable to beat the Rams since moving from New England to Tampa Bay in 2020. The Rams (3-4) are also below .500, searching for answers to turning around a slower-than-expected start after ending Tampa Bay's bid to repeat as Super Bowl champs last January and going on to win the Lombardi Trophy themselves. |
|||||||
11-06-22 | Chargers v. Falcons OVER 49 | Top | 20-17 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 14 m | Show |
The Atlanta Falcons have remained consistent in their commitment to running the ball without becoming predictable. Los Angeles Chargers coach Brandon Staley says that's why the surprising Falcons are leading the NFC South. "There is a reason why they are first in their division," Staley said. "They are number one in their division because they've put together a really good season on offense." The Falcons (4-4) will look to stay there when they play the Chargers (4-3), who are coming off a bye week, on Sunday. Atlanta remained competitive despite playing its last four games without top running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who had knee surgery. Patterson returned to practice on Wednesday and could come off injured reserve as soon as Sunday. Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota will face the Chargers' Justin Herbert in a matchup of Oregon alumni. The Falcons rank fifth in the league in rushing and 29th in passing. Even so, Mariota has thrown seven touchdown passes in the last four games. |

11-06-22 | Bills v. Jets UNDER 46 | Top | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 2 h 11 m | Show |
Buffalo beat Green Bay on Sunday night, 27-17. The Bills have outscored their opponents by 105 points this season (203-98), which is the biggest differential in the NFL. The only other times the Bills have led the NFL in that category were 2021 (+194) and 1990 (+165) |
|||||||
11-06-22 | Colts v. Patriots UNDER 40.5 | Top | 3-26 | Win | 100 | 2 h 8 m | Show |
The Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots meet for the second straight year with their seasons at a crossroads. Last year, both were coming off bye-week breaks entering Week 15 when the Colts - 7-6 at the time - hosted a Patriots squad that was 9-4 and riding a seven-game winning streak. The Colts rallied behind a 170-yard rushing performance from Jonathan Taylor to pull out a 27-17 win. But Indy couldn't ride the ripples of that victory and dropped two of its final three games, missing the playoffs. The Patriots' loss started a stretch during which they lost three of four to end the regular season. They made the playoffs but were blown out in the wild-card round by Buffalo. The circumstances are a bit different entering Sunday's matchup - yet the outcome could again have a lasting impact on both teams' prospects. |

11-05-22 | UCLA v. Arizona State OVER 66 | 50-36 | Win | 100 | 11 h 50 m | Show
The Bruins are 7-1 so far this season, going undefeated in nonconference play before opening Pac-12 play 3-0 and eventually falling to Oregon in Eugene. UCLA bounced back with a home win over Stanford last weekend, keeping them in the race for the Pac-12 title. The Sun Devils are 3-5, firing head coach Herm Edwards midway through their four-game losing streak early in the season. Arizona State turned things around with an upset win over Washington in Tempe, and after losing to Stanford 15-14, rebounded with a win over Colorado under interim coach Shaun Aguano. UCLA is averaging 39.6 points per game, which ranks 11th in the country, while allowing 24.2. The Bruins rank No. 5 in passing yards, No. 2 in rushing yards and No. 3 in total yards of offense among Pac-12 teams this season. Their defense is allowing the third-fewest yards in the conference and also ranks fifth in turnovers forced per game under new defensive coordinator Bill McGovern. |
|||||||
11-05-22 | James Madison +7 v. Louisville | 10-34 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 53 m | Show
There might have been a few problems lately with two straight losses, but the run defense remained the best in the nation. The Dukes are only allowing 55 yards per game even after giving up a season-most 167 yards in the loss to Marshall. The defensive front is amazing at getting into the backfield and creating negative plays, the passing game should push for 300 yards, and the secondary won’t allow much to this bunch. Louisville can throw, but it’s not always consistently connecting. |
|||||||
11-05-22 | Michigan v. Rutgers UNDER 45.5 | 52-17 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 3 m | Show
Michigan debuted at No. 5 in this year's College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday night. The Wolverines control their own destiny if they win out in November, including the traditional season finale with No. 2 Ohio State. But all of that was secondary for the program this week in the wake of what Jim Harbaugh called an assault on two of his players following Michigan's game against Michigan State. The team's focus remained on the wellbeing of defensive backs Ja'Den McBurrows and Gemon Green, who were injured in the incident, ahead of its trip to Rutgers this Saturday at Piscataway, N.J. Harbaugh said what transpired Saturday night in the Michigan Stadium tunnel was "egregious" and traumatic for the whole program. "An apology will not get the job done in this instance," Harbaugh said Monday. "There should be serious consequences for the many individuals who are culpable." Green retained an attorney, who said the graduate student suffered a concussion when a Spartans player hit him in the head with a helmet. McBurrows, who was already sidelined with an ACL injury, was the victim in a video posted online that showed several Michigan State players ganging up on him in the tunnel. The ugly event overshadowed Michigan (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) snapping a two-game losing streak in the rivalry. Blake Corum ran for 177 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries to build upon a Heisman Trophy campaign; he now ranks second in the country with 14 rushing touchdowns and fourth nationally with 1,078 yards. Ahead of the Wolverines' first road game since Oct. 8, Harbaugh agreed it will be difficult to put the Michigan State incident behind them and focus on Rutgers. |

11-05-22 | Auburn +13 v. Mississippi State | Top | 33-39 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
Auburn interim coach Carnell "Cadillac" Williams will hope to salvage the Tigers' season, beginning with a game at slumping Mississippi State on Saturday night in Starkville, Miss. Williams, who was in his fourth season of coaching the Tigers' running backs, replaced Bryan Harsin after he was dismissed on Monday after less than two seasons on the job. "I truly believe Auburn has the potential to be a championship program once again," Harsin wrote in a statement on Tuesday. "The resources, financial support, and fan base are in place." The Tigers (3-5, 1-4 SEC), mired in a four-game losing streak, went 9-12 under Harsin, with losses in 10 of their past 13 games dating to last season. Mississippi State (5-3, 2-3) is coming off a 30-6 loss at then-No. 6 Alabama, the Bulldogs' second straight loss after opening the season 5-1. The Bulldogs and Tigers play contrasting styles of offense. |

11-05-22 | Texas -2.5 v. Kansas State | Top | 34-27 | Win | 100 | 8 h 21 m | Show |
Kansas State is coming off a historic victory. Now it's time to prove that it was not a fluke. The Wildcats, ranked No. 13 in the first College Football Playoff poll, defeated then-No. 9 Oklahoma State 48-0 last Saturday, the largest shutout ever over a top-10 team by a team lower in the rankings. It was the Wildcats' first victory over the Cowboys in Chris Klieman's four years as head coach. They'll face another squad Klieman hasn't defeated when No. 24 Texas comes to Manhattan, Kan. on Saturday for a primetime showdown. K-State (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) played exceptionally well against the Cowboys, and two Wildcats earned Big 12 player of the week honors. Quarterback Will Howard, who played for injured starter Adrian Martinez, earned offensive player of the week after going 21-of-37 for 296 passing yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Punter Ty Zentner was selected special teams player of the week after serving as punter, placekicker, and kickoff specialist. He hit both field goals and all six extra points, plus placed two of his four punts inside the 20 without a touchback. The defense shut out the Cowboys, who came into the game averaging 44.7 points per game, tied for third in the FBS. The last time the Cowboys were shut out was Nov. 28, 2009, when they were blanked by Oklahoma, 27-0. The Cowboys also were held to 217 yards of total offense, less than half their season average (466.9 yards per game). |

11-05-22 | Texas State v. UL-Monroe OVER 52.5 | 30-31 | Win | 100 | 5 h 24 m | Show
After two games on the road, the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks are heading back home. Their week off comes to an end as they meet up with the Texas State Bobcats at 5 p.m. ET at JPS Field at James L. Malone Stadium Saturday. The Warhawks are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 37.63 points per matchup. Louisiana-Monroe might have drawn first blood against the Army West Point Black Knights two weeks ago, but it was Army who got the last laugh. Louisiana-Monroe has to be aching after a bruising 48-24 loss to Army. |
|||||||
11-05-22 | Troy v. UL-Lafayette UNDER 43 | Top | 23-17 | Win | 100 | 6 h 1 m | Show |
Forget the mediocre 4-4 overall record and 2-3 in Sun Belt mark Louisiana-Lafayette possesses going into its home contest against Troy on Saturday. At least, the Trojans’ coach Jon Sumrall isn’t paying any attention to it. What the first-year coach has researched is the Ragin’ Cajuns have had their way with the Trojans the past two seasons – winning 35-21 at Troy a year ago and 53-3 in 2019, the last time Troy made a visit to Lafayette. The two teams didn’t play in 2020. “The last couple of outcomes against them for us have not been good,” Sumrall said. “We haven’t beaten Louisiana-Lafayette in a long time around here. “That’s a really big test for us, and we’re ready for it. I think our guys will be mentally prepared and locked in, but we’ve got a good opponent we better be prepared for or we’ll get exposed. |

11-05-22 | Central Florida v. Memphis +3 | Top | 35-28 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 53 m | Show |
UCF just passed a pressure-packed test, one that coach Gus Malzahn admittedly would have preferred his team not have to take. Now the Knights, No. 25 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings, have to prove they can win on the road. UCF (6-2, 3-1 American Athletic Conference) travels to Memphis (4-4, 2-3) on Saturday afternoon. The Knights are coming off a 25-21 home win over conference power Cincinnati, which was 20th in the AP poll a week ago and was a CFP playoff team last season. Leading 10-6 in the third quarter, UCF twice fumbled in the red zone. Those missed opportunities loomed large when they trailed 13-12 entering the fourth. Led by not-so-ordinary backup quarterback Mikey Keene, UCF capped a 77-yard drive with a touchdown with 4:36 left to take an 18-13 lead, surrendered a TD and two-point conversion about 1 1/2 minutes later and trailed 21-18, then responded again with RJ Harvey's 17-yard scoring run with 48 seconds left. |

11-05-22 | New Mexico +14.5 v. Utah State | 10-27 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 55 m | Show
The Utah State Aggies (3-5) host an MWC battle against the New Mexico Lobos (2-6) on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. In last week’s game, the Aggies lost to the Cowboys from Wyoming 28-14, and the Lobos lost to Fresno State 41-9 in Mountain West Conference play. The Lobos come into the game at 2-6 and have struggled to balance the offense and defense this year in a very challenging year for the Lobos. New Mexico started the year with two wins over Maine and UTEP and a loss to Boise State over their first three games. The Lobos have hit a losing streak since then, falling to LSU, UNLV, Wyoming, New Mexico State, and Fresno State in succession. |
|||||||
11-05-22 | UTSA v. UAB OVER 53.5 | 44-38 | Win | 100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
UAB running back DeWayne McBride enters Saturday as the nation’s leading rusher, posting 163.3 yards per game and 12 touchdowns on an average of 7.0 yards per carry. Taylor described McBride as an “NFL back” because of his size and body control, calling him “the next best thing we’re going to see next to (Texas’) Bijan Robinson.” Roadrunners defensive lineman Asyrus Simon said slowing McBride and UAB’s rushing game will be “the biggest challenge this week.” “He will get paid on Sundays,” Simon said. “He can make you miss, he runs hard, and he has a good line up front to help him see the way through.” |

11-05-22 | New Mexico v. Utah State UNDER 42.5 | 10-27 | Win | 100 | 4 h 17 m | Show

11-05-22 | West Virginia v. Iowa State UNDER 50 | 14-31 | Win | 100 | 4 h 7 m | Show
Iowa State turned in maybe its most frustrating performance of the season in a 27-13 game. The defense turned in yet another outstanding performance and the special teams were actually not bad! However, the offense was absolutely horrible. Hunter Dekkers finished the day 37/57 passing for 308 yards (57 ATTEMPTS!!), but threw three interceptions to only one touchdown pass. The running also continued to struggle, as Cartevious Norton and Jirehl Brock combined for just 49 yards rushing on 22 carries. In fact, Hunter Dekkers picked up nearly half of the team’s rushing yards on a single 28-yard scramble. |
|||||||
11-05-22 | Baylor v. Oklahoma OVER 61.5 | 38-35 | Win | 100 | 4 h 43 m | Show
Oklahoma coach Brent Venables has plenty of familiarity with his Baylor counterpart, Dave Aranda. During their time as up-and-coming defensive coordinators, the pair spent time talking about defensive philosophies. But Venables said their relationship really grew when Aranda was the defensive coordinator at LSU and recruited Venables' son, Jake. When decision time arrived, Jake Venables picked Clemson. "His mama won the recruiting battle," Venables said. "Dave didn't make the cut." On Saturday, Aranda's Bears (5-3, 3-2 Big 12) will take on Venables' Sooners (5-3, 2-3) at Norman, Okla. Aranda not only has experience with Oklahoma's coach, he knows the Sooners' offense as well. |

11-05-22 | South Florida v. Temple UNDER 49.5 | 28-54 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 29 m | Show
Temple and South Florida are the only teams yet to win a game in American Athletic Conference play this season. Off to 0-4 starts in league play, Temple and USF are hoping to emerge with the elusive AAC victory when the teams convene Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. Temple (2-6, 0-4 AAC) has dropped conference games to Memphis, Central Florida, Tulsa, and Navy. The Owls absorbed a 70-13 loss to UCF on Oct. 13, took an early 10-point lead in a 27-16 loss at Tulsa, and succumbed in overtime during last week's 27-20 loss to Navy. Amad Anderson Jr. caught a 20-yard touchdown for the Owls and finished with eight receptions for 114 yards. E.J. Warner, the son of Kurt Warner, completed 24 of 48 passes for 268 yards and was intercepted twice. Perhaps the most encouraging sign came from the defense's showing against the Navy's triple-option. The Owls conceded 224 yards from scrimmage -- well below Navy's 370 yards per game entering last week. |

11-05-22 | South Florida v. Temple +3.5 | Top | 28-54 | Win | 100 | 3 h 14 m | Show |

11-05-22 | Marshall -3.5 v. Old Dominion | Top | 12-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 9 m | Show |
Nearly four months later, they’re still coming one at a time. When the Monarchs host Marshall at 2 p.m. Saturday, they don’t plan to look past nightfall. That’s when time and football will tell whether ODU (3-5, 2-2 Sun Belt) will have taken an important step toward bowl eligibility or whether an already uphill climb will have grown steeper. After Saturday, the Monarchs will face James Madison, Appalachian State, and South Alabama — all teams with records above .500. But Rahne, true to form, remains singularly focused on the Thundering Herd (4-4, 1-3) with three wins needed to make the postseason. |

11-05-22 | North Dakota -11 v. Indiana State | 42-7 | Win | 100 | 2 h 4 m | Show
North Dakota was selected seventh overall in the Missouri Valley Football Conference preseason poll as voted on by the league's coaches, media, and SIDs. The Fighting Hawks received 190 total points in the poll. North Dakota featured five players that earned MVC Preseason All-Conference accolades led by wide receiver Bo Belquist, as well as Donny Ventrelli (OL), Devon Krzanowski (LB), C.J. Siegel (DB), and punter Cade Peterson. North Dakota already bosts a pair of wins over ranked opponents in the 2022 season as the Fighting Hawks topped No. 24 Northern Iowa (29-27) and No. 7 Missouri State (48-31). The Fighting Hawks have also posted a pair of nonconference wins over Northern Arizona and Abilene Christian on the year. Bo Belquist has lived up to his billing as one of the top receiving threats in the MVFC on the year with a league-high 5.88 receptions per game. |

11-05-22 | Iowa v. Purdue UNDER 39.5 | 24-3 | Win | 100 | 1 h 51 m | Show
Still in control of its destiny in the Big Ten West, Purdue spent its bye week doing far more regrouping than reflecting on what could lie ahead. What is at stake beyond Saturday's visit from Iowa in West Lafayette, Ind.? Boilermakers coach Jeff Brohm urges players not to bother. "I think we can't concern ourselves with anything at the end of the tunnel," Brohm said. "That's when you get caught looking down a road and don't prepare as hard as you can." Should the Boilermakers (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) defeat Iowa (4-4, 2-3), they'd set up a huge division clash at resurgent Illinois the following week. To get there, Purdue must play more efficiently on offense than the most recent time out, a 35-24 loss at Wisconsin on Oct. 22 that snapped a four-game winning streak. Purdue quarterback Aidan O'Connell eclipsed 300 yards for the third straight game while passing for a touchdown, but he also threw three interceptions. |

11-04-22 | Duke v. Boston College UNDER 48 | 38-31 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 33 m | Show
When Boston College hosts Duke to resume Atlantic Coast Conference play on Friday in Chestnut Hill, Mass., one team will hope to stay on its current trajectory and the other will try to reverse course entirely. Fresh off a bye, Duke (5-3, 2-2 ACC) is looking to build upon its 45-21 win at Miami from Oct. 22. The Blue Devils' two prior games were three-point losses to Georgia Tech and North Carolina. First-year coach Mike Elko's team has been a surprise, as Duke had five wins in 2020 and 2021 combined. Now, bowl eligibility is one win away. |

11-04-22 | UMass v. Connecticut UNDER 40 | 10-27 | Win | 100 | 3 h 29 m | Show
In an offensive meeting during UConn football fall camp, Zion Turner was asked what his hopes were for the season. The decorated true freshman quarterback was still competing for a higher position on the depth chart. He had no idea he’d end up the starter in Game 2. But Turner said: “I want to take the team to a bowl game.” Hearing such a goal from Turner made sense, despite the program’s history in the FBS basement. The Fort Lauderdale native lost just two games as a three-year starter in one of the nation’s powerhouse programs, St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida. He won three state titles and possesses the confidence that comes with a proven winner. He chose to come to UConn, which raised questions from those familiar with his talent level, with the goal of turning the Huskies around. Seeing the banners hanging from the walls inside the Burton Football Complex, and the ministries in the hallways, Turner wanted the 2022 team to be a part of it. To raise one of its own for the first time since 2015. |

11-03-22 | Eagles -13.5 v. Texans | 29-17 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 43 m | Show
Jalen Hurts was born in Houston and grew up about 25 miles from NRG Stadium. As a child he dreamed of playing at the stadium the Houston Texans call home. On Thursday night he'll finally get that chance when he leads the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles (7-0) against the lowly one-win Texans (1-5-1). "I never had the opportunity to go play in Reliant as a kid, now known as NRG," he said. "I spent a lot of time in the Houston Texans facility, my godfather being on staff as a child, and I have a lot of memories at that place, so it'll be exciting." Houston coach Lovie Smith knows Hurts will be amped up to play so close to home, but he isn't going to roll out the welcome wagon to meet the young star. |

11-01-22 | Buffalo v. Ohio OVER 58.5 | Top | 24-45 | Win | 100 | 10 h 56 m | Show |
Ohio is facing its biggest test yet. The Bobcats begin Midweek MACtion this week, and it will be no easy feat. As if adjusting to playing in the middle of the week wasn’t hard enough, the Bobcats are facing the top team in the Mid-American Conference East Division: Buffalo. This game is especially important because it will determine if Buffalo stays atop the division, or if Ohio will take its place. It could also play a factor in who will be heading to Detroit for the MAC Championship Game. |

10-30-22 | Packers v. Bills UNDER 47 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 8 h 52 m | Show
Bills safety Micah Hyde and receiver Jake Kumerow know Aaron Rodgers well enough to appreciate how much the Packers quarterback's words resonate in Green Bay. So when Rodgers defiantly insisted the Packers' playoff hopes, at 3-4, remain realistic despite a third consecutive loss and facing the formidable challenge of traveling to play the AFC-leading Bills (5-1) on Sunday night, the two former Green Bay players took serious note. "I've been around him before and I know that when his back is against the wall, he just rallies them," said Hyde, who rejoined the Bills this week in a quasi-coaching role after sustaining a season-ending neck injury last month. I'll believe it when I see it. |

10-30-22 | 49ers v. Rams | 31-14 | Win | 100 | 4 h 31 m | Show
The Los Angeles Rams' rivalry with the 49ers has been thoroughly, shockingly one-sided in San Francisco's favor over the past several seasons. Well, except in the one meeting that mattered the most. But that NFC championship game victory by the Rams last January meant nothing when San Francisco routed LA yet again four weeks ago. It means even less this Sunday before the Rams' second meeting of the season - and fourth meeting of 2022 - with the 49ers, who have won a whopping seven consecutive regular-season games against Los Angeles. Even the Rams' only victory over the 49ers since 2018 was hardly convincing: San Francisco had to blow a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter, and Niners safety Jaquiski Tartt had to drop a surefire late interception while the Rams surged into the Super Bowl. With fresh optimism after their bye week, the Rams (3-3) are hoping this will be the week they finally break through in decisive fashion against the 49ers (3-4), who have lost two straight and have beaten only one team other than Los Angeles since Week 2. |
|||||||
10-30-22 | Commanders v. Colts UNDER 40 | 17-16 | Win | 100 | 3 h 27 m | Show
Sam Ehlinger spent his whole life preparing for this week. On Sunday, he'll finally be a feature attraction on the NFL's big stage. The 24-year-old quarterback, who spent more than 20 months as an understudy for the Indianapolis Colts, will make his first career start Sunday against the Washington Commanders. And like any young actor thrust into the spotlight, Ehlinger is eager, excited, and, yes, even anxious. "With every new opportunity there are new nerves, so navigating through those, trying to stay in the moment is going to be the challenge," he said. "I don't think it's weird. I think I always prepared in the way that I was ready for the moment and I'm really glad that I did because here we are." His rapid ascension up the depth chart, from No. 3 to Colts starter in less than two weeks, is only part of this week's surprising storyline. |

10-30-22 | Patriots v. Jets UNDER 40 | 22-17 | Win | 100 | 1 h 34 m | Show
Look around the New York Jets' locker room to find someone who remembers what it was like to beat the New England Patriots - and you can't. There's no one left. The Jets have lost 12 straight to Bill Belichick's bunch, with their most recent win coming in Week 16 of the 2015 season. Todd Bowles was the coach of that 26-20 overtime victory at MetLife Stadium, led by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker. Current Jets quarterback Zach Wilson was just a high school sophomore in Utah. Long snapper Thomas Hennessy, the Jets' longest-tenured player, was a junior at Duke. And head coach Robert Saleh was the linebackers coach in Jacksonville. Yep, it has been a while. On Sunday, the surprising Jets (5-2) have a chance to end that skid and create a new storyline when they host the last-place Patriots (3-4). A victory would be New York's fifth straight - which last happened, coincidentally, with that win over New England seven years ago. |

10-29-22 | Nevada v. San Jose State UNDER 44.5 | 28-35 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 32 m | Show
San Jose State has had two weeks off since the stunning loss to Fresno State. It’s going to be ready to get back on track. The passing game should be way too effective against a Nevada defense that hasn’t seen good quarterback play all season long. The Spartans don’t run all that well, but they should be able to do just enough to balance things out a bit. And then there are the turnovers. Nevada might have 16 takeaways on the season, but San Jose State has turned it over just twice. The team is +9 in turnover margin – it’ll be fine. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | San Diego State v. Fresno State OVER 43 | 28-32 | Win | 100 | 9 h 27 m | Show
Can this keep working with Jalen Mayden winging it around? The former Mississippi State quarterback-turned-SDSU defensive back-turned-quarterback saved the season with a 322-yard day in the win over Hawaii, and struggled in the win over Nevada, but didn’t make any big mistakes. As long as he’s serviceable, the running game that showed signs of life against the Wolf Pack should be okay, the defense is good enough to keep the – most-likely – Jake Haener-less Fresno State offense from going off |

10-29-22 | Pittsburgh v. North Carolina OVER 65 | 24-42 | Win | 100 | 7 h 13 m | Show
Drake Maye leads No. 21 UNC into battle against Pitt No. 21 North Carolina will strengthen its grip on the top spot in the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division if it can top visiting Pitt on Saturday night in Chapel Hill, N.C. UNC (6-1, 3-0 ACC) is coming off a bye week, having last played on Oct. 15, when it went north on Tobacco Road and beat rival Duke 38-35 in Durham. That contest was another stellar outing for Tar Heels redshirt freshman quarterback Drake Maye, who completed 28 of 38 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns while rushing 18 times for a net gain of 70 yards in the win. Maye leads the ACC in adjusted passing yards per attempt this season with a mark of 11.4. He also leads the conference in completions (162), passing yards per attempt (9.9), touchdowns responsible for (27), completion percentage (70.1), passer rating (184.8), and total yards (2,661). Simply put: The Tar Heels wouldn't be in a position to potentially play for an ACC championship this season if it wasn't for Maye. But he could be better, according to UNC offensive coordinator Phil Longo. He told reporters this week that Maye spent the bye week working on his mobility and protecting the football. |

10-29-22 | Ole Miss v. Texas A&M UNDER 55.5 | 31-28 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 45 m | Show
With Southeastern Conference road losses dominating them last week, No. 15 Ole Miss and Texas A&M will try to reverse their fortunes when they meet Saturday night in College Station, Texas. The Rebels (7-1, 3-1) tumbled eight spots in the Top 25 after experiencing defeat for the first time last weekend, but coach Lane Kiffin's run-oriented offense went about losing in a strange way. Before dropping its 45-20 decision at LSU, Ole Miss led 17-3 after Jonathan Cruz's field goal on the second quarter's first play. The Rebels then led 20-17 at halftime, with one of the nation's top rushers to move the chains, consume time, and add points to move to 8-0 and keep their top 10 rankings. Tigers quarterback Jayden Daniels and the LSU defense had something else in mind. The home side ended the game on a 28-3 run, while the defense held Kiffin's offense without a point in the second half. With rusher Zach Evans injured, the vaunted running game headed by him and Quinshon Judkins (111 yards on 25 carries, two TDs) produced just 117 yards on 37 tries. Kiffin said his squad will encounter a similarly raucous crowd as the one they played in front of at LSU's Death Valley. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Coastal Carolina v. Marshall UNDER 54.5 | Top | 24-13 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show |
Marshall needs takeaways to win this, and Coastal Carolina likely won’t oblige. The Herd was able to come up with three or more takeaways in three of the last four games including five in the stunning win over James Madison. Most famously, the D generate three interceptions in the win at Notre Dame.Coastal Carolina had a turnover problem against Buffalo earlier in the season, but that’s been about it with just three giveaways in the last four games. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Missouri +3.5 v. South Carolina | 23-10 | Win | 100 | 4 h 34 m | Show
South Carolina has climbed back into the Associated Press Top 25 for the first time since Week 2 of the 2018 season. Now the No. 25 Gamecocks (5-2, 2-2 SEC) will try to maintain their national ranking when they host Missouri (3-4, 1-3 SEC) Saturday in Columbia, S.C. "When you are the head coach and you are ranked, it is certainly something we are proud of but not satisfied with," South Carolina coach Shane Beamer said Tuesday. "I look at it more as it is just the next step. Credit the players and the people in this program." South Carolina moved back into prominence by winning at No. 13 Kentucky 24-14 on Oct 8, then holding off Texas A&M 30-24 at home last Saturday. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | South Alabama v. Arkansas State UNDER 53 | 31-3 | Win | 100 | 3 h 21 m | Show
The South Alabama defense continues to be fantastic. Troy’s was a wee bit better last week in the 10-6 Jaguar loss, but this bunch should be a rock against an Arkansas State team that can’t run and has a hard time putting points on the board.The South Alabama passing game is accurate and effective, and the Red Wolves can’t top any of it. It’s the other side, though, that should take over as the game goes on against an ASU offensive line that can’t keep anyone out of the backfield. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Illinois v. Nebraska UNDER 50.5 | 26-9 | Win | 100 | 3 h 45 m | Show
No. 17 Illinois will try to keep its unexpected spot atop the West Division standings when it visits Nebraska on Saturday for a Big Ten Conference game in Lincoln. The Fighting Illini (6-1, 3-1) have won five straight, their longest streak since posting seven consecutive victories in 2010-11, which also was the last time they were ranked this high. They come off a bye holding a half-game lead in the West over Purdue, while Nebraska (3-4, 2-2) is one game behind the leader. Illinois' last game was a 26-14 home win on Oct. 15 over Minnesota, in which it held its opponent to 180 yards. The Illini lead the country in scoring defense (8.9) and total defense (221.1) and rank second in rushing defense (77.9) and passing defense (143.3). Their 12 interceptions are tied for second-most in the country. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Temple +15 v. Navy | 20-27 | Win | 100 | 3 h 57 m | Show
The Temple defense is fantastic at coming up with third-down stops. No, the run D isn’t amazing, but overall the Owls have a problem against teams that can throw enough to make open things up for everything else. Teams that weren’t able to throw – Rutgers, UMass, Lafayette – also didn’t run for a score. Navy might not be able to throw outside of a few plays here and there, but there won’t be a whole slew of worries about the air show. Temple should be able to hold up against the run by selling out to keep the Midshipmen from getting to the outside |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Old Dominion +3.5 v. Georgia State | 17-31 | Loss | -108 | 3 h 46 m | Show
Georgia State’s defense has been funky. It got ripped up by the Appalachian State running game in last week’s loss, got hit with 359 passing yards in the win over Georgia Southern a few weeks ago, and Old Dominion’s offense can adapt to whatever works. The passing game has been steady enough to be a sure thing to hit 200 yards, and the ground attack rumbled all over Coastal Carolina in a shocking win a few weeks ago. With a great pass rush to bother Panther QB Darren Grainger, the defense should be okay |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Charlotte +15.5 v. Rice | 56-23 | Win | 100 | 2 h 40 m | Show
Can the offense overcome the other issues? The 49ers might not be able to run all that well, but if Chris Reynolds is able to limit the mistakes, the passing game will work. The Rice defense is decent, but the pass defense will give up 200 yards as long as the 49ers are able to hit the midrange throws. The Owls will turn it over – they’ve given it away three times in each of the last two games and 16 times in the six FBS games |
|||||||
10-28-22 | Yale -2.5 v. Columbia | 41-16 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show
Two Ivy League programs meet up on Friday night as the Yale Bulldogs will travel to New York City and take on the Columbia Lions. Yale and Columbia come in playing impressive football on the season as the Bulldogs sit at 4-2 and the Lions sit at 3-3. A win in this game could put Yale in a good position for the remainder of the season in the Ivy League. Columbia is 0-3 in the conference, which likely won't be something they can overcome this season. Yale will come into this one after a tough 20-13 loss against UPenn. Columbia has now dropped two in a row after a 27-24 loss against Dartmouth and a 34-14 loss against UPenn. |
|||||||
10-27-22 | Utah v. Washington State +7 | 21-17 | Win | 100 | 7 h 51 m | Show
Utah coach Kyle Whittingham is pleased that the 14th-ranked Utes will return to action earlier than normal this week when they visit Washington State on Thursday. The Utes had a bye last week following a 43-42 home win over then-No. 7 Southern California on Oct. 15. "I think this is the ideal scenario, if you have a bye, to have it come (ahead of) a Thursday (game) so you get an extra couple of days the following week," Whittingham said. "I think sometimes you can get a little stale going the full two weeks, so I think if you were to map it out, this is exactly how we would want it to play out." Washington State is in the same situation, having last played Oct. 15 at Oregon State, a 24-10 loss. The Utes (5-2, 3-1 Pac-12) need to keep winning to keep pace with No. 8 Oregon (6-1, 4-0) in the Pac-12 standings. Those teams play will meet in Eugene, Ore., on Nov. 19. Washington State (4-3, 1-3) is hoping to end its two-game losing streak, with both losses coming on the road against USC and Oregon State. The Cougars are 3-1 at home. Utah is 1-2 on the road. |
|||||||
10-27-22 | Virginia Tech +13.5 v. NC State | 21-22 | Win | 100 | 4 h 29 m | Show
Some extra time is just what No. 24 North Carolina State needed, and now the Wolfpack will try to rebound Thursday night against struggling Virginia Tech in Raleigh, N.C. "You have to kind of reassess each week," NC State coach Dave Doeren said. "How can you achieve the greatest things that you can?" The Wolfpack (5-2, 1-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) needed to recuperate after an Oct. 15 loss at Syracuse, which all but knocked NC State out of contention in the ACC's Atlantic Division. With Preseason Player of the Year Devin Leary out for the season with an injury, Jack Chambers was thrust into the starting quarterback role against Syracuse. Now, he should be more prepared, with 12 days between games |
|||||||
10-27-22 | UL-Lafayette v. Southern Miss UNDER 43 | Top | 24-39 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 18 m | Show |
Teams battling to stay in contention in the Sun Belt Conference West Division clash when the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns take on the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles on Thursday night. The Ragin' Cajuns (4-3, 2-2) have won two in a row, including a 38-18 win over Arkansas State last Saturday. The Golden Eagles (4-3, 2-1), tied for second in the division, have won two in a row and four of five. Southern Miss is coming off a 20-14 victory at Texas State last weekend, after slipping past Arkansas State 20-19 the week before. |
|||||||
10-23-22 | Falcons v. Bengals UNDER 48.5 | 17-35 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 44 m | Show
The Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons have both been surprising this season - for different reasons. The Bengals - last year's AFC champions - dropped their first two games and had to come from behind again to beat New Orleans last week to get to 3-3. The Falcons, despite low preseason expectations, improved to 3-3 with a win over the San Francisco 49ers and share the NFC South lead with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One of the teams will move above .500 for the first time this season when they meet Sunday in Cincinnati. The Bengals have played from behind almost constantly, as was the case last week then they scored 10 points in the last 3:42 to rally past the Saints 30-26. The win, coupled with Baltimore's 24-20 loss to the New York Giants, moved the Bengals into a tie for first place in the AFC North. |
|||||||
10-23-22 | Bucs v. Panthers OVER 39 | 3-21 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 40 m | Show
Brian Burns, a Pro Bowl defensive end who goes by the nickname "Spiderman," calls Tom Brady the Carolina Panthers' "arch nemesis." And for good reason. Brady is 4-0 against Carolina since joining the NFC South, averaging 279 yards passing per game with eight touchdown passes and one interception while helping the Bucs outscore the Panthers 150-63. But Brady and the Bucs' offense don't resemble the efficient unit of the previous two seasons. Tampa Bay (3-3) enters Sunday's game at division foe Carolina ranked 21st in offense, 20th in scoring and 32nd in rushing - some uncharacteristic numbers for a Brady-led offense. Brady spent part of last Sunday berating his offensive line, angered by Tampa Bay's ineptitude on offense during a 20-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This week, he admitted the offense is far from a "finished product." Burns is hoping the Panthers (1-5) can take advantage - even though they won't have Christian McCaffrey on offense after he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night. |
|||||||
10-19-22 | Georgia State v. Appalachian State OVER 60 | 17-42 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 60 m | Show
Appalachian State was supposed to be the Sun Belt’s killer running team this year, and it’s turning out to be Georgia State. The Panthers can throw a little bit when they have to, but the veteran combination of backs and quarterback Darren Grainger are starting to take over. Army ran for more yards, but Georgia State was more effective on the ground in the 31-14 win. It ripped through Georgia Southern for 336 yards, and they’re combining it with a defense that takes the ball away by the truckload. |
|||||||
10-17-22 | Broncos v. Chargers OVER 45.5 | 16-19 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 36 m | Show
Justin Herbert has shown he has been able to bounce back from a serious injury. Whether Russell Wilson can do the same has turned into the leading storyline for Monday night's game. Herbert's Los Angeles Chargers will host Wilson and the Denver Broncos in prime time in an AFC West matchup. Even though there remain nearly three months of the regular season to be played, both quarterbacks have already experienced their share of adversity. Wilson received an injection last Friday for a strained muscle near his throwing shoulder. The platelet-rich plasma injection was used to treat a strained latissimus dorsi on his right side. It is the large, flat muscle on the back that stretches to the sides and behind the arms. Wilson sustained the injury during an Oct. 2 loss at Las Vegas and then played through it on a short week when the Broncos lost 12-9 in overtime to Indianapolis. For the second straight year and fourth time in his 11-year career, Wilson is on a team that is 2-3 after five games. His 82.8 passer rating is 12th in the AFC along with a completion rate of only 59.4%, hardly what the Broncos' new ownership group expected when they gave Russell a $245 million contract extension. Even though Wilson and the Broncos have struggled under first-year coach Nathaniel Hackett, Chargers boss Brandon Staley remains leery of what Wilson can do. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Cowboys v. Eagles UNDER 42.5 | Top | 17-26 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 29 m | Show |
Jason Peters is ready to return to Philly and play in front of some bleeping idiots. His endearing words toward the fans, of course. A nine-time Pro Bowl pick and two-time All-Pro, Peters built a Hall of Fame-worthy career at left tackle for the Eagles that included a spot on the NFL's Team of the Decade for the 2010s. He missed out, though, on the biggest moment in franchise history when he suffered a torn ACL during the 2017 season and missed the Super Bowl. Peters still earned a Super Bowl ring but his performance never quite rebounded to an elite level. He spent last season with Chicago and signed this season with the Cowboys - you know, the Eagles' most-hated rival. Peters comes back for a pretty big game: The Eagles are 5-0 and the only undefeated team in the NFL. The Cowboys (4-1) have won four straight. The Eagles can take a two-game lead on the defending division champions with a victory on Sunday night. Philadelphia is 5-0 for the third time in franchise history. The Eagles started 7-0 in 2004 when they finished 13-3 in the regular season before falling in the Super Bowl to New England, and began 6-0 in 1981 but dropped their first playoff game. The Linc will be rowdy -- and Peters will be ready. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Bills v. Chiefs OVER 54.5 | 24-20 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 39 m | Show
In one of the wildest playoff games in NFL history, the Bills and Chiefs traded the lead three times and scored 25 points in the final 2 minutes of regulation, including a 13-second field-goal drive by Kansas City to force overtime that folks in Buffalo are still trying to live down. The Chiefs went on to win that game in January, ending Buffalo's season at Arrowhead Stadium for the second consecutive year, and leaving Josh Allen and the rest of the heartbroken Bills counting the days until Sunday. That's when they get another shot at the team that's becoming their nemesis. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Panthers +11 v. Rams | 10-24 | Loss | -128 | 36 h 30 m | Show
Not many NFL offenses have struggled more than the Los Angeles Rams' unit this season. The Carolina Panthers' offense is one of them. The Panthers' struggles aren't exactly surprising, since their top three quarterbacks are either injured or ineffective. Carolina (1-4) took drastic steps to fix its larger problems Monday by firing coach Matt Rhule, and Steve Wilks will make his interim head coaching debut Sunday when the Panthers visit the defending Super Bowl champions (2-3) at SoFi Stadium. Wilks' quarterback is all but certain to be P.J. Walker, the seldom-used veteran backup who's the last man standing behind Baker Mayfield and Southern California natives Sam Darnold and Matt Corral. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Cardinals v. Seahawks OVER 50.5 | 9-19 | Loss | -108 | 4 h 21 m | Show
Considering where the rest of the teams stand in the NFC West five games into the season, Seattle coach Pete Carroll sounded almost appreciative that no one has run away with the division. That seems unlikely to continue. Which adds a little bit more importance to what happens on Sunday when the Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals, with one team guaranteed to be sitting in the division basement afterward. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Jaguars v. Colts UNDER 41.5 | 27-34 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 29 m | Show
Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reich understands the ramifications of Sunday's high-stakes bout. With the Jacksonville Jaguars taking Round 1 of this biannual rivalry, Indy needs to settle the score for a legitimate shot at the larger prize - its first AFC South title since 2014. And Reich, a boxing analogy fan, fully expects his team to fight. "It's a big deal. It's a division game, they beat us up pretty bad last time, I think we all understand," he said. "This is about us taking a step and proving we are making the progress we want to make." It's not been the kind of start Reich or anyone else around Indianapolis envisioned. The Colts (2-2-1) have allowed a league-high 21 sacks and are averaging a league-low 13.8 points. New quarterback Matt Ryan has 11 fumbles, one short of his single-season career high, and last year's NFL rushing champion Jonathan Taylor hasn't rushed for more than 71 yards since Week 1. Worse yet, Indy is 0-2-1 in division play as it begins the second half of its six-game rotation this weekend. Yet somehow, Indy finds itself one-half game behind division-leading Tennessee, with a rematch against the Titans looming in Week 7. Yes, the Colts know something needs to change. Recently, the Jaguars (2-3) have delivered the knockout blows. They've won four of six in this series, eliminating the Colts from the playoffs in last season's stunning finale and logging the NFL's first shutout this season with a a 24-0 victory in Week 2. The Colts haven't forgotten. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Vikings v. Dolphins UNDER 45 | 24-16 | Win | 100 | 1 h 25 m | Show
Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel views adversity as an opportunity. His top two quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa and Teddy Bridgewater are in concussion protocol. The Dolphins have lost two straight after starting 3-0. And Miami will start a rookie quarterback Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings (4-1). McDaniel, in his first head coaching job, said there's no time to feel sorry for himself. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Patriots v. Browns OVER 43 | 38-15 | Win | 100 | 1 h 22 m | Show
Jacoby Brissett looks back fondly on his rookie season with New England, where he was thrust into a starting job, was schooled in the Patriot Way as one of Tom Brady's understudies and won a Super Bowl. Bill Belichick traded him the following year. "My welcome to the NFL moment," he said this week with a laugh. At least it wasn't his last one. Brissett may experience some flashbacks Sunday against a New England team with a current QB situation similar to the one it had in 2016 as Belichick brings the Patriots (2-3) in to face the Browns (2-3), whose season seems at a crossroads in Week 6. After being drafted in the third round by New England, Brissett rocketed up the depth chart and started the season's first two games for Belichick when Brady was suspended by the NFL for the "Deflategate" scandal and Jimmy Garoppolo got hurt. Although he was only there one season - he got traded to Indianapolis the following year - Brissett remains grateful for the early opportunity to play for arguably the best coach and with the greatest quarterback in NFL history. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Bucs v. Steelers OVER 46.5 | 18-20 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 18 m | Show
Tom Brady, by his own estimation, has faced the Pittsburgh Steelers "a lot." Just never quite like this. And it's not just Brady's jersey that'll be different this time around when he walks onto the Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field) turf for the first time on Sunday as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's the team on the other side of the line of scrimmage, too. The Ben Roethlisberger-led version of the Steelers that Brady played so often with so much on the line during his long run in New England is long gone, replaced by a group that is hurting physically and mentally. Dropping four straight games and being on the wrong end of the franchise's worst loss in 33 years - as Pittsburgh was last week in Buffalo - will do that. |
|||||||
10-15-22 | Arkansas State +4.5 v. Southern Miss | 19-20 | Win | 100 | 26 h 11 m | Show
The Red Wolves haven’t been able to do anything on the ground, but James Blackman and the passing game have been fine, they’ll hit at least 250 yards against the Southern Miss defense, and then they have to get the pass rush going. The Golden Eagles aren’t going to control the clock – they’re awful on third downs – partly because the offensive front gives up too many plays in the backfield. The ASU pass rush isn’t anything special, but the line will come up with tackles for loss. |
|||||||
10-15-22 | Oklahoma State v. TCU UNDER 69 | 40-43 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 30 m | Show
The usual October showdown between the two highest-ranked teams in the Big 12 has finally arrived. It's just not the matchup most fans predicted. Hardly anyone expected No. 8 Oklahoma State and No. 13 TCU both to be unbeaten going into their contest on Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas, but that is the case in what is the first top-15 showdown in the conference this year. Oklahoma State's success to this point is not the biggest surprise. The Cowboys (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) began the season ranked No. 12 after nearly making the College Football Playoff last year. The Cowboys already have one road win over a ranked Texas school. They earned a 36-25 victory at then-No. 16 Baylor on Oct. 1. As has traditionally been the case, the offense has been the biggest reason for Oklahoma State's success. The Cowboys are averaging 46.4 points and 469.4 yards per game thus far and are led by quarterback Spencer Sanders, who has completed 61.5 percent of his passes for 1,394 yards and 12 touchdowns with two interceptions. Sanders is also second in rushing with 241 yards for Oklahoma State, which is coming off a 41-31 home win over Texas Tech. |

10-15-22 | Connecticut v. Ball State -9 | 21-25 | Loss | -117 | 21 h 21 m | Show
The MAC is always wide open. It has proven true for the 2022 season thus far, and Ball State is in the thick of it in the West Division. The Cardinals collected a check from Tennessee but followed that with close losses to Western Michigan (MAC) and Georgia Southern. Their three wins against Murray State, Northern Illinois, and Central Michigan have brought the Cards to 3-3 and second place in the division behind Toledo. Some players on this Ball State team have championship experience. Plenty of older players were a part of the Cardinals when BSU captured the MAC Championship in 2020, defeating Buffalo. Nevertheless, a championship attitude is what Mike Neu has preached to his team this season, "We talk about being the best team and the best family, and we have to have each other's back no matter how it happens." |

10-13-22 | Washington Commanders v. Bears OVER 39.5 | Top | 12-7 | Loss | -110 | 87 h 44 m | Show |
This is a simple formula. Both teams have been under team over the years. It's been three seasons since both teams combined made over bettors a profit. Bets on the under are exactly what the books are anticipating and that's exactly what's happening early on with this number falling a point to 39.5. Don't take the bait. |
|||||||
10-13-22 | Baylor v. West Virginia UNDER 55 | 40-43 | Loss | -110 | 86 h 52 m | Show
After a poor showing in Austin, the bye week couldn't have come at a better time for West Virginia. Not only were they able to use the bye to fix some things but also get healthy as a handful of players suffered injuries during the loss to Texas. Falling behind 28-0 in the first half just simply can't happen again. That was a team that looked unprepared and failed to adjust when they saw a defensive front that they weren't expecting. Digging yourself a hole against the defending champs is a spot you don't want to be in. Jumping out to a 7-10 point lead by half will give WVU a chance to overcome any defensive issues/miscues in the second half. |
|||||||
10-13-22 | Temple v. Central Florida -23 | Top | 13-70 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
The Owls have been awful on offense but have played tremendous defense. This team lost 24-3 at Memphis last time out on Oct. 1, and it has been outscored 54-3 in a pair of road games while going 0-2 ATS. The offense ranks just 125th with 282.8 total yards per game. The Knights have scored 27 or more points in 3 straight games, and 4 of 5 games overall. The defense has been tremendous, however, allowing 20 or fewer points in all 5 outings and the Under has hit in 4 in a row. |
|||||||
10-12-22 | UL-Lafayette v. Marshall -7.5 | 23-13 | Loss | -110 | 61 h 48 m | Show
Going into last weekend on a two-game losing streak (34-31 at Bowling Green, 16-7 at Troy), the Marshall Thundering Herd got back into the win column at home against FCS Gardner-Webb 28-7. They defeated the Bulldogs thanks to a complete performance from both the offensive and the defensive units, racking up 421 yards of offense while giving up just 143. Running back Khalan Laborn and cornerback Steven Gilmore were the stars of the game last Saturday, as the former gashed Gardner-Webb for 191 yards and two scores on 35 carries while the latter intercepted two passes. |
|||||||
10-10-22 | Raiders v. Chiefs UNDER 51.5 | Top | 29-30 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 21 m | Show |
Derek Carr has had a passer rating of under 100.0 in each of his last 11 games (including playoffs), the longest streak of his career. He had never previously gone more than seven straight games without a triple-digit rating.
|
|||||||
10-10-22 | Raiders +7 v. Chiefs | Top | 29-30 | Win | 100 | 16 h 14 m | Show |
The Raiders have been playing in close games lately, with their last nine games all decided by a single-digit margin (including playoffs). That's one shy of tying the franchise record of 10 straight, done twice (1975-76 and 1998-99).

10-09-22 | Eagles v. Cardinals +5.5 | 20-17 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show
No NFL quarterback has struggled quite as much this season as Carolina's Baker Mayfield. The bumpy road isn't expected to get any smoother on Sunday for the 2018 No. 1 overall draft pick. Mayfield, who is last in the NFL in ESPN's total quarterback rating, leads the league's worst offense against its top-ranked defense when the Panthers (1-3) host the San Francisco 49ers (2-2). Mayfield joined the Panthers in July after a trade with the Cleveland Browns. He has struggled mightily, completing a league-low 54.7% of his passes while being limited to 186.7 yards passing per game with four touchdowns and three interceptions. |

10-09-22 | Dolphins v. Jets +3.5 | 17-40 | Win | 100 | 70 h 43 m | Show
The Dolphins began the season 3-0 with big wins over the New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, and Bills. However, last week in Cincinnati was a different story. Miami not only lost the game, but they lost starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as well. In their week three matchup against the Bills, Tagovailoa hit the back of his head on the ground and stumbled as he attempted to return to the huddle. He was then taken to the locker room for a concussion evaluation, which he passed. Tua returned to the game in the second half and led Miami to a win. Tagovailoa started at quarterback for Miami four days later in their Thursday night matchup against the Bengals. For the second week in a row, he hit his head on the ground. But this time, he wasn’t able to get up off the field. A stretcher carried him off the field and he was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion. Tagovailoa was discharged from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and was allowed to fly home with the team on Friday morning. Head coach Mike McDaniel said Tua will remain out with no timetable for return. |

10-09-22 | Falcons +10.5 v. Bucs | 15-21 | Win | 100 | 70 h 34 m | Show
After getting off to a rocky start on the year the Falcons are bouncing back. They started with two close losses by a combined five points. Since then, the Birds are flipping the script. They continue to play close games, but come out n the winning side. A road win against the Seahawks by four got them in the win column in week three. Last week, they pulled out a three-point game at home over the Browns. The defense sealed the deal with a huge Dee Alford INT with just around a minute left. |

10-09-22 | Bears v. Vikings OVER 44 | 22-29 | Win | 100 | 4 h 9 m | Show
The Minnesota Vikings have staked out a favorable position through the first quarter of their season by winning three of four games amid predictable growing pains with new playbooks and play callers on both sides of the ball. Just because Kirk Cousins worked with coach Kevin O'Connell before didn't mean the offense was going to instantly click, even with Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, and Dalvin Cook at its disposal, but I think this is the week when you start to see more of what you expected. |
|||||||
10-09-22 | Seahawks v. Saints -5 | 32-39 | Win | 100 | 3 h 29 m | Show
Saints running back Alvin Kamara is having trouble recognizing his own team lately. New Orleans (1-3) has fumbled, stumbled and fouled its way through a three-game losing streak. The Saints - who haven't had a losing season since drafting Kamara in 2017 - are trying to clean up their act before hosting Seattle (2-2) on Sunday. |
|||||||
10-09-22 | Texans v. Jaguars OVER 43 | 13-6 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 14 m | Show
The Jacksonville Jaguars are on a streak of streaks. Last week, they lost at Philadelphia to extend their NFL record skid of consecutive losses to NFC teams to 18. The week before, they ended an 18-game road losing streak with a victory at the Los Angeles Chargers. In Week 2, they won their eighth straight at home against Indianapolis. Next up: Jacksonville (2-2) has a chance to end an eight-game slide against Houston (0-3-1) on Sunday. Winning would be another sign of progress for a franchise that's endured double-digit losses in 10 of the last 11 seasons and finished last in the AFC South in each of the previous four years. |
|||||||
10-09-22 | Giants +9 v. Packers | Top | 27-22 | Win | 100 | 66 h 19 m | Show |
Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has done the London trip twice before as an offensive coordinator and "didn't leave the hotel either time." Safe to say he'd prefer star quarterback Aaron Rodgers - a Manchester City fan - not try to venture north for the Premier League champion's home game Saturday (though Rodgers could satisfy his soccer fix Friday night when the U.S. women's team faces European champion England in a friendly at Wembley Stadium). The Packers' schedule for their first-ever international regular-season game doesn't leave much time for sightseeing. Same goes for the New York Giants (3-1). Both teams are scheduled to arrive in the British capital Friday morning ahead of Sunday's game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Rodgers, a four-time MVP, had hoped the Packers (3-1) would arrive earlier in the week "to experience a little bit of that culture" but he knows ultimately it's a business trip - a long-awaited one at that. |

10-08-22 | Dartmouth +4 v. Yale | 21-24 | Win | 100 | 1 h 52 m | Show
The 2022 Bulldogs are off to a solid start to the season. Yale has a 2-1 record heading into Saturday’s game against Dartmouth. That game now takes on new meaning after the Bulldogs revealed an incredible one-off uniform commemorating their 150th anniversary. There’s no denying the impact Yale has had on college football and the sport as a whole. The Bulldogs may not be the powerhouse that they once were. But it’s clear that people are still paying attention to the historic program. That is unless, of course, you’re at Harvard. |
|||||||
10-07-22 | Colorado State v. Nevada OVER 44 | 17-14 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 1 m | Show
Norvell’s former team is playing better than the current one. The Wolf Pack might be struggling, but they were able to get the ground game going early on against New Mexico State and Texas State and there shouldn’t be a problem against the Rams. It won’t be anything scintillating, but the Nevada lines will outplay the Colorado State fronts in a relatively even game for four quarters. |
|||||||
10-07-22 | UNLV v. San Jose State UNDER 51.5 | 7-40 | Win | 100 | 2 h 50 m | Show
UNLV QB Doug Brumfield finished with 233 yards passing and rushed for a TD in a 31-20 win last Friday vs. the New Mexico Lobos. The Rebels trailed 17-0 in the 2nd quarter before scoring 24 unanswered points, but still failed to cover the full-game spread as 14-point favorites. UNLV is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) this season. San Jose State covered the spread as a 2.5-point favorite in a 33-16 win at the Wyoming Cowboys Saturday. Spartans QB Chevan Cordeiro threw for 314 yards and 1 TD and rushed for 2 more in their Mountain West Conference opener. Cordeiro went 21-of-37 passing as San Jose State improved to 3-1 ATS on the season. |
|||||||
10-06-22 | Colts +3.5 v. Broncos | Top | 12-9 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show |
Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan can sure feel each other's pain. None of the nine NFL teams that changed quarterbacks this season has a winning record heading into October. Two of them square off Thursday night when Ryan's beleaguered Indianapolis Colts (1-2-1) visit Wilson's banged-up Denver Broncos (2-2). Both QBs have found a rough transition to their new teams and both are missing key offensive and defensive players on a short week. Ryan has eight turnovers in four games, has been sacked 15 times and fumbled nine times in his first season since leaving Atlanta. Wilson is off to the slowest start of his career with just four TD passes in his first season out of Seattle. New surroundings, new teammates, new terminology are all hurdles that even former MVPs such as Ryan or Super Bowl winners such as Wilson have to overcome. |
|||||||
10-05-22 | SMU v. Central Florida OVER 64.5 | 19-41 | Loss | -110 | 76 h 0 m | Show
The Knights (3-1) didn't play very well offensively in a 27-10 win over visiting Georgia Tech last week, while SMU (2-2) lost its second straight game by falling at home to rival TCU 42-34. For UCF, John Rhys Plumlee failed to complete a pass in the first quarter against the Yellow Jackets. He finished the day completing just 8 of 16 passes for 49 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. But the quarterback did have 16 carries for a team-high 100 yards and a touchdown, powering a rushing attack that ran for 284 yards. With contributions from RJ Harvey and Isaiah Bowser, the Knights averaged 5.1 yards per carry. SMU gave up touchdowns on four of TCU's first five possessions, fell behind 28-7 midway through the second quarter and never recovered. The Mustangs rolled up 476 yards of total offense, but were hampered by a pair of interceptions thrown by Tanner Mordecai. Mordecai has completed 58.4 percent of his passes for 1,385 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. He's thrown a touchdown pass to eight different receivers, led by four to Rashee Rice, who also leads the team with 34 catches for 565 yards. Tre Siggers has rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns on 50 carries. UCF features a much more run-oriented attack behind Plumlee, who has rushed for a team-high 404 yards to go along with four scores. Bowser has 228 yards and a team-high five rushing touchdowns on 69 carries. |

10-03-22 | Rams v. 49ers | Top | 9-24 | Win | 100 | 30 h 36 m | Show |
The stakes will be far lower when the Los Angeles Rams visit the San Francisco 49ers for the third meeting between the teams this calendar year. The intensity is always high when these NFC West rivals meet. Ever since good friends Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan took over as coaches in Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2017, the franchises have used each other as measuring sticks. That will be no different on Monday night when the Rams (2-1) visit the 49ers (1-2). "A lot of these games over the last couple of years have been deciding factors for playoff seeding, home-field advantage, obviously an NFC championship thrown into the mix. So they've always had a huge level of importance," Niners right tackle Mike McGlinchey said. "We know each other very well. It's been a lot of the same core guys down there, it's been a lot of the same core guys up here. So it's always a fun battle." The Rams have had better team success with four playoff berths, two Super Bowl appearances and the title last season. The Niners have had the edge in the head-to-head battle, winning the past six regular-season matchups, including a Week 18 game last January that got them into the playoffs. But the Rams got their revenge a few weeks later when they beat San Francisco 20-17 in the NFC title game on the way to their Super Bowl victory. "We could talk about all those different games, but I think at the end of the day what it boils down to is they've played well, they've made the plays in crunch time," McVay said. "I think the ultimate thing that's really important for us is each game is its own separate entity. ... But we know that this game is going to be different than the other ones. We've got to be able to show up, and play well in that three-hour window. That's what our focus and concentration will be solely focused on. No different than when we had to play them for the third time last year." JIMMY BOUNCEBACK Garoppolo's first start after Trey Lance went down with a season-ending ankle injury for San Francisco turned out to be a dud. Instead of building off a promising relief appearance in Week 2, Garoppolo looked rusty after no offseason work and showed the flaws that led the Niners to make the big move to acquire Lance last season. He missed on a few chances at big plays in the first half, then turned it over twice in the second half, as well as stepping out of the end zone for a safety in the 11-10 loss to Denver. |

10-02-22 | Jaguars +7 v. Eagles | 21-29 | Loss | -130 | 25 h 34 m | Show
Jacksonville has started the season 2-1 for the first time since 2018 and has scored 84 points over the three games. That is the third-most points scored through three games of a season in team history (98 in 1997 and 89 in 2017).
|

10-02-22 | Bills v. Ravens +3.5 | Top | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 43 m | Show |
The Ravens lost their first home game versus the Bills (13-10 on Halloween in 1999) but they're 5-0 against them in Baltimore since then, holding Buffalo to seven or fewer points four times, including the most recent game, a 47-3 Ravens win in the 2018 season opener.

10-02-22 | Vikings v. Saints +3.5 | 28-25 | Win | 100 | 20 h 49 m | Show
Get to London early in the week, bond as a team, then try to snap a losing streak. New Orleans Saints coach Dennis Allen has been here before, in 2014 when his then-Oakland Raiders lost 38-14 to the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium. They slipped to 0-4 and it was their 10th straight loss overall. Allen was fired the next day. The Saints (1-2) arrived on Monday in the British capital and brought with them a banged-up quarterback and a two-game losing streak as they prepare to play the Minnesota Vikings (2-1) on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the NFL's first international game this season. |

10-01-22 | Alabama v. Arkansas OVER 60.5 | 49-26 | Win | 100 | 4 h 29 m | Show
Alabama will try to continue its dominance of Southeastern Conference rival Arkansas on Saturday when it travels to Fayetteville, Ark., in one of four matchups this week between teams in the top 20. The No. 2 Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0 SEC) have won 15 consecutive games against the 20th-ranked Razorbacks (3-1, 1-1) and have not lost a matchup in the series since 2006, the year before Nick Saban arrived at Alabama. This will be the Tide's second road game of the season and first against a conference opponent. In its only road game so far, Alabama narrowly escaped with a 20-19 nonconference victory at Texas on Sept. 10. The Razorbacks last defeated Alabama in 2006 at home and could use a major bounce-back victory after blowing a 14-point lead in last week's 23-21 loss to then-No. 23 Texas A&M. Arkansas led 14-0 before the Aggies scored 23 unanswered points. The Razorbacks pulled to within two, but kicker Cam Little's 42-yard go-ahead field goal with 1:30 remaining in the game bounced off the top of the right upright. |

10-01-22 | Wake Forest v. Florida State OVER 67 | Top | 31-21 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 56 m | Show |
Off to its best start since 2015 -- and ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll for the first time in more than four years -- No. 23 Florida State will aim to keep its hot streak going Saturday when the Seminoles host No. 22 Wake Forest in Tallahassee, Fla. The Seminoles (4-0, 2-0 ACC) are undefeated and ranked after thrashing Boston College 44-14 at home last Saturday. Meanwhile, the Demon Deacons (3-1, 0-1 ACC) are coming off their first defeat of the season, a 51-45 overtime loss to No. 5 Clemson. Although FSU canceled classes Tuesday through Friday in preparation for the possible effects of Hurricane Ian, the game remained on schedule for 3:30 p.m. EST at FSU's Doak Campbell Stadium. Florida already has moved its game against Eastern Washington to Sunday, while USF moved its game against East Carolina across the state to Boca Raton. Tallahassee is farther north and west than those campuses, leading FSU athletic director Michael Alford to say Monday, "Nothing has changed right now," while the school reminded fans to check social media for updates. |

10-01-22 | Purdue v. Minnesota OVER 53 | 20-10 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 30 m | Show
No. 21 Minnesota faces Purdue, aims to stay unbeaten After a 34-7 win over Michigan State on Saturday, Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck said that sometimes the difference between being a team or just simply being a group boils down to defensive culture and intensity. If that's true, the Golden Gophers are as much of a team as anyone in college football. No. 21 Minnesota (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will look to continue terrorizing opposing offenses on Saturday when it faces Purdue (2-2, 0-1) in a conference matchup at Minneapolis. The Gophers have allowed just 24 points this season. They've also allowed the fewest average yards per game in the nation (187.8), with the next-closest team, Alabama, at 201.2. Thanks to those impressive defensive numbers and a lethal rushing attack, Minnesota has slid into the AP Top 25 for the first time this season. |

10-01-22 | Michigan v. Iowa UNDER 42 | 27-14 | Win | 100 | 1 h 20 m | Show
No. 4 Michigan visits Iowa, 'Where top-5 teams go to die' Michigan heads to Iowa City, Iowa, on Saturday undefeated and ranked No. 4. Yet, in a way, the Wolverines feel like an underdog against unranked Iowa. The Hawkeyes (3-1, 1-0) have a history of knocking off highly-ranked opponents that pay a visit. This will be the ninth time in the Kirk Ferentz era that Iowa has hosted a top five team. Iowa is a remarkable 5-3 in those games, including victories in five of the past six. One of those victories, a 14-13 squeaker, came against No. 2 Michigan in 2016. "As they say, where top-five teams go to die," Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said. The Wolverines (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) are leaving the comfort zone of home for the first time this season. They defeated Maryland in their Big Ten opener on Saturday 34-27. Running back Blake Corum has already racked up nine touchdowns while averaging 7.5 yards a carry. In Michigan's final nonconference game, he tied a school record with five rushing touchdowns against UConn, and then turned into a workhouse last week against the Terrapins, rushing for a career high 243 yards on 30 carries and reaching the end zone twice. |

10-01-22 | Kentucky v. Ole Miss UNDER 55 | 19-22 | Win | 100 | 1 h 8 m | Show
In a matchup of ranked Southeastern Conference teams on Saturday, No. 7 Kentucky and No. 14 Ole Miss will try to shake off last weekend's sluggishness when they meet in Oxford, Miss. The Wildcats (4-0, 1-0) ultimately took care of their non-conference business with Northern Illinois -- a 26-point underdog -- but it wasn't easy. The Mid-American Conference's Huskies tied the game at 14 just before halftime. In the first minute of the second half, Kentucky quarterback Will Levis found Barion Brown for a 70-yard touchdown, and the Wildcats held on to win at home in Lexington, 31-23. Levis went 18-for-26 for 303 yards with a career-high four touchdowns. The 300-yard game was the senior's third this season, but he was pressured by the Huskies most of the game and was sacked five times. He connected for plays of 40, 69 and 70 yards, all for touchdowns. |

10-01-22 | Oklahoma v. TCU OVER 69 | 24-55 | Win | 100 | 1 h 38 m | Show
Oklahoma's defense was torched by a mobile quarterback in a loss to Kansas State last week. The season might not get any easier for the No. 18 Sooners (3-1, 0-1) when they face QB Max Duggan and host TCU (3-0, 0-0) on Saturday in a Big 12 game at Fort Worth, Texas. "Max is a great quarterback, looking a lot more athletic than he has in the past," Oklahoma linebacker DaShaun White said. "We're gonna go over there, and they're gonna try to put up whatever they're gonna try to put on us. Most important thing is that we come ready to play and stop the run. That's where it starts." Kansas State quarterback Adrian Martinez ran for 148 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-34 win over the Sooners. Duggan has three career games with more than 100 yards rushing and ran for 92 against Oklahoma in 2019. This season, though, Duggan has just 33 rushing yards after being sacked five times in last week's 42-34 win over SMU. But he has excelled through the air, completing 77 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and no interceptions. TCU enters the game ranked No. 9 nationally in total offense, averaging 510 yards per game. The Horned Frogs are averaging more than 215 yards on the ground, with Kendre Miller and Emari Demercado leading the way. |

09-30-22 | Tulane v. Houston -2.5 | Top | 27-24 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 1 m | Show |
Houston tries to weed out problems in meeting with Tulane Houston head coach Dana Holgorsen is looking for an all-around improvement from his Cougars, and not all of it has to do with them splitting the first four games of the season. After starting the campaign ranked No. 24, the season started on a high note for Houston, after beating UTSA 37-35 in three overtimes. But now, it there may be tension within the program. The Cougars (2-2) will look to sort out some of those problems when they host American Athletic Conference foe Tulane (3-1) Friday night in the conference opener. In his fourth year at Houston's helm, Holgorsen has become frustrated with his squad. |

09-29-22 | Dolphins v. Bengals -3.5 | 15-27 | Win | 100 | 6 h 33 m | Show
The Miami Dolphins outlasted the Buffalo Bills last week to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2018. The early going for the Cincinnati Bengals has been surprising, too, but in a different way. The defending AFC champions lost their first two games before rediscovering their 2021 chemistry and beating the New York Jets 27-12 on Sunday. The Dolphins snuck out of last week's hyped showdown with a 21-19 win over the Bills thanks to some clock mismanagement at the end. Buffalo ran out of time trailing by two points and trying to get in position for a potential game-winning field goal. |

09-29-22 | Utah State v. BYU UNDER 60.5 | 26-38 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 35 m | Show
Jaren Hall is a rising pro prospect and the BYU quarterback will look to have another big game when he leads the No. 19 Cougars into Thursday night's contest against visiting Utah State at Provo, Utah. Hall has topped 300 yards in back-to-back games and has nine touchdown passes against one interception this season for the Cougars (3-1). He matched his career high of four touchdown passes and passed for a season-high 337 yards during Saturday's 38-24 home win over Wyoming. He enters the game against Utah State (1-3) with a streak of 115 consecutive passes without being intercepted. It is his third career streak of 100 or more throws without being picked off. 09-26-22 | Cowboys v. Giants | Top | 23-16 | Loss | -125 | 14 h 36 m | Show |
The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are going to renew their NFC East rivalry on Monday night, -and this one might be an indication of whether the times are changing. The Cowboys, the defending division champions, have owned the Giants the last five years. The teams have played 10 times and Dallas has won nine. This season has gotten off to an interesting start, though. Dallas has split two games and saw quarterback Dak Prescott undergo thumb surgery after the season opener. How long the star quarterback will be sidelined is uncertain, but Cooper Rush will be running the offense against the surprising Giants. New York, which won four games last year, is halfway to that total after knocking off Tennessee and Carolina in Brian Daboll's first two games as coach. Beating Dallas in a nationally televised game would be another step toward respectability after five straight losing seasons. |

09-25-22 | 49ers v. Broncos +2 | Top | 10-11 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
The only difference the San Francisco 49ers see in longtime nemesis Russell Wilson isn't in his game but his gear. "It's so weird seeing him in a new uniform," linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair said. "But he's the same exact guy." Kyle Shanahan thinks so, too. "I see the same stuff I've seen going against him in Seattle for the last 10 years. (It's just that) they've just come up short on a couple of touchdowns there," said San Francisco's coach, who brings a 2-8 record against Wilson into Sunday night's showdown between the 49ers (1-1) and Broncos (1-1). Shanahan pointed to Wilson's 35-yard fourth-quarter dart to Courtland Sutton on third-and-16 last week as evidence the 33-year-old QB still has it. |
