08-06-17 | Dodgers -156 v. Mets | 8-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 46 m | Show
Ryu is 0-0, 2.38 in his last four starts. Matz is 0-3, 11.57 in his last five starts. Dodgers won 12 of last 13 games and plenty more. Mets lost eight of last ten games. Dodgers again. |
|||||||
07-30-17 | Indians -145 v. White Sox | 1-3 | Loss | -145 | 2 h 24 m | Show
The Indians are 10-3 in their last 13 Sunday games and 8-2 in Tomlin’s last 10 Sunday starts and also 19-7 in Tomlin’s last 26 starts in game three of a series. The White Sox are 7-20 in their last 27 during game three of a series, and 1-7 in their last eight Sunday games. The White Sox are 1-4 in Rodon’s last five starts. Tomlin has allowed seven earned runs in a span of 19.1 innings. Rodon has 15 earned in 13.0 innings over his last three starts. Cleveland won its last nine games. White Sox are 1-13 since All-Star Game. |
|||||||
07-22-17 | Red Sox -123 v. Angels | 3-7 | Loss | -123 | 11 h 1 m | Show
Price is 3-0, 1.67 in his last four starts and has given up zero earned in two of his last three starts. He’s also 3-0 in his last four games. Boston has won 5 of his last 7 starts, LA is also 1-5 in their last six games versus a left-handed starter.  Ramirez is 1-3, 5.56 in his last four starts and he’s given up four or more earned runs in three of those last four starts. LA is 1-4 in Ramirez’s last five home starts. Boston won three of last four games, Angels have lost 6 of 9. AL East leaders looking good for another win today. |
|||||||
07-21-17 | Astros -141 v. Orioles | 8-7 | Win | 100 | 10 h 19 m | Show
Fiers is 1-1, 2.65 in his last three starts. Jimenez is 1-2, 9.88 in his last three starts and  has given up 15 runs and 21 hits in 13 2/3 innings in this span. Astros are 10-0 in game following their last ten losses. |
|||||||
07-19-17 | Diamondbacks -158 v. Reds | 3-4 | Loss | -158 | 11 h 40 m | Show
Greinke is 3-0, 1.42 ERA in his last three starts. Adelman is 0-3, 7.54 ERA in his last three starts. Reds have been outscored 46-14 while dropping their first five games following the All-Star break. Both teams have been cold, but Arizona should be more confident and able to roll off yesterday's 11-2 win over the Reds in a hitter friendly park, while their ace keeps the Reds' bats cold and at bay. |
|||||||
07-16-17 | Cubs -136 v. Orioles | 8-0 | Win | 100 | 4 h 34 m | Show
26 hits in 2 days, 19 runs and 8 home runs have the Cubs hot and in control of this series. The motivation is high as well with their new starter getting ready to finally receive some run support for a change after being moved from the White Sox. Quintana is 2-0, 3.03 ERA in his last five starts. He's face Ubaldo Jimenez who is  2-2, 7.87 ERA in his last four starts. Jimenez has given up 19 homers, including two or more in seven of his 13 starts. With the way the Cubs are crushing the ball, Jimenez is not the guy you want to put up against that. The Cubs have won 8 of 11  matchups between them, including four of five at Baltimore. Cubs won their last three road games while Baltimore lost six of last seven home games. I'm on the champs today. |
|||||||
07-09-17 | Orioles v. Twins -118 | 11-5 | Loss | -118 | 3 h 6 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles ended a five-game losing streak with a 5-1 win against Minnesota. Ubaldo Jimenez (3-4, 6.64 ERA) surrendered six runs in four innings against the Twins on May 22 in a 14-7 loss andis 1-2, 8.22 ERA in his last three starts. Gibson allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his last four outings. The Twins had 15 runs in their first 2 games this series before getting stumped by a rookie pitcher yesterday that they had never seen. Ubaldo is well known to the Twins to give up plenty of runs.  The total is set high here for a reason. If Gibson could keep Machado and the O's at about 2-3 runs, the Twins should be able to tag Jimenez for about 5-6 at least before the bullpens take over. Baltimore is 2-8 in the last 10 meetings in Minnesota and 6-23 in their last 29 road games. Take the home team. |
|||||||
07-08-17 | Reds v. Diamondbacks -140 | 7-0 | Loss | -140 | 10 h 18 m | Show
I'm taking the -1 here but this site doesn't allow me to enter a -1 pick. I hope they will soon. It affects my average odds on my bets and it doesn't reflect what I do for my members. |
|||||||
07-08-17 | Angels v. Rangers -142 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 13 m | Show
I'm taking the -1 here but this site doesn't allow me to enter a -1 pick. I hope they will soon. It affects my average odds on my bets and it doesn't reflect what I do for my members. |
|||||||
07-08-17 | Orioles v. Twins -120 | 5-1 | Loss | -120 | 3 h 30 m | Show
Miley is 0-3, 11.57 in his last three starts and he only made it 1 2/3 innings at Milwaukee on Monday giving up seven runs. The Twins banged him up for 5 runs in 4 innings last season. Orioles are 0-4 in his last four road starts. Mejia is 3-0, 1.53 in his last three starts and has allowed a total of three runs in 17 2/3 innings in this span. . Baltimore lost seven of last eight games. Minnesota won five of last seven games. I'm on the Twins. |
|||||||
07-07-17 | Reds v. Diamondbacks -185 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 13 h 30 m | Show
Both teams have split their last 10 games. Adleman is 1-3, 5.87 in his last four starts. Greinke is 2-0, 2.25 in his last two starts. He is also 8-0 with a 2.67 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and .195 batting average against in 10 starts at home this season. I don't like the Reds and the travel from the altitude in Colorado yesterday to the desert in Arizona today. Dbacks had a tough series against the best team in the NL in LA. It's time to get home and snag this one. Take the -1. |
|||||||
07-05-17 | Red Sox v. Rangers -106 | 2-8 | Win | 100 | 14 h 29 m | Show
Boston won its last six games and 8 out of 9. Texas lost seven of their last nine games and should get swept here with Cashner at 1-3, 6.14 ERA in his last four starts. Look for Boston to get behind Fister who is looking for his first win after giving up 4 hits (3 runs) in his last start. Boston is very hot right now ranking #6 in RPI compared to the #16 Rangers. I'm on Boston. |
|||||||
07-04-17 | Orioles v. Brewers -140 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show
Jimenez is 2-2, 7.42 ERA in his last five starts. Nelson is 2-1, 3.00 ERA in his last three starts. Baltimore lost three of last four games. Milwaukee won four of last five games. Brewers dominated 8-1 yesterday and with Jimenez being the faded pitcher that he is, Milwaukee is the play here. Take the -1 to reduce the juice. |
|||||||
06-30-17 | Rockies v. Diamondbacks -138 | 6-3 | Loss | -138 | 11 h 42 m | Show
Arizona outhit the Cards when we played them on Wednesday and Godley only gave up 2 hits compared to Wainwright with 8. Too many stranded runners cost us the game. Robbie Ray get the ball and he's the top guy at this point and All-Star worthy. He's unbeaten over his last eight starts and has given up one run or less in 5 of his last 7 turns. Arizona lost their last 2, but they're still 15-4 in their last 19 home games.  Gray is returning from a foot fracture and didn't go more than 5 innings in his rehab starts. He's 0-1, giving up nine runs and 17 hits in 12 1/3 innings against the Rays. Arizona bounces back today. Take the moneyline and the very cheap -1 line as well. |
|||||||
06-28-17 | Cardinals v. Diamondbacks -124 | 4-3 | Loss | -124 | 8 h 19 m | Show
Wainwright is 1-2, 11.43ERA in his last four starts. He's also allowed 14 hits and 18 earned runs in his last 5.2 innings on the road. Arizona won last five Godley starts where he's gone 2-0, 2.59ERA and  a 2.13 ERA with 0.83 WHIP at home this season. St Louis lost four of last six games. Arizona is 16-3 in its last 19 games. Arizona is 29-10 at home and we want Godley here with a hot Arizona team while fading Wainwright. The ML is cheap enough for a good play. |
|||||||
06-24-17 | Orioles v. Rays -137 | 8-3 | Loss | -137 | 5 h 21 m | Show
Bundy is 1-3, 7.08 ERA in his last four starts and he gave up 6 runs in 4.1 innings in his last time out. Faria is 3-0, 1.37 ERA in his first three MLB starts. Baltimore is 4-12 in its last 16 games. Tampa Bay won five of last six games while posting 44 runs in that span. I'm on Tampa again. |
|||||||
06-22-17 | Diamondbacks +101 v. Rockies | 10-3 | Win | 101 | 7 h 37 m | Show
Godley has a 2.22 ERA in his last four starts and given up three runs or fewer in all eight of his starts this season. Senzatela has a 4.91 ERA in his last five starts  allowing five runs in his last start in 6 innings.  He's given up 13 hits and nine earned runs in his last 10 innings. This is a hitter's ballpark in Colorado and the Dbacks did just that with 20 hits yesterday en route to a 16-5 win for their 8th win in their last 9. If you got two teams that can hit well, you look at the pitching edge for Arizona and their huge performance yesterday to give the advantage to the visitors here. |
|||||||
06-21-17 | Indians -152 v. Orioles | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 37 m | Show
Carrasco is 3-1, 3.91 in his last four starts. Indians are 6-1 in his road starts-. Gausman is 0-2, 9.19 in his last three starts and has a major league worst 1.92 WHIP. He's allowed at least eight hits in seven consecutive starts.  Indians lost after 6 wins in a row. After winning 12-0 in game 1 of this series, they're looking to get on another win streak and this is the right situation to get it going again.  O's have lost 9 of 13 and should drop this one early. |
|||||||
06-19-17 | Tigers v. Mariners -141 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 12 h 23 m | Show
The Tigers have only 3 runs and are coming off a 6 hit performance in Tampa, getting wiped out 9-1 at home. Sanchez is being forced to start after a terrible bullpen stretch and a demotion to the minors. He's given up 26 runs and 34 hits in 21 innings of work this season. 4 of those runs were at the hands of the Mariners who have scored 11 runs in two games and won in Texas last night. The Tigers have never seen Gaviglio who is 4-0 in his last 4 and only 2 earned runs in his last two starts at home. Seattle has the home field, the cheap price at the -1 and the advantage to win this game against the struggling Tigers. Â Â Â |
|||||||
06-17-17 | Diamondbacks -113 v. Phillies | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 43 m | Show
8-2 Arizona in their last 10 faces off against 1-9 Phillies in the same span. Godley is 1-0, 2.41 in his last three starts. Eickhoff is 0-4, 6.68 in his last six starts and Philadelphia is 1-8 in Eickhoff’s last 9 starts.  Arizona is 21-8 in their last 29 games overall and 5-1 in Godley’s last 6 starts. Arizona ranks #3 in RPI at .528 compared to the last place Phillies at .455. I'm on Arizona with confidence. |
|||||||
06-17-17 | Padres v. Brewers -153 | 7-5 | Loss | -153 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Anderson has a 1.69 ERA and 1.07 WHIP at home this season and the Padres are 4-1 in his last five home starts and 3-1, 0.33 in his last four starts. Lamet is 0-2, 18.00 in his last two starts. Milwaukee won its last four games and should grab this home win today. |
|||||||
06-15-17 | Yankees -118 v. A's | 7-8 | Loss | -118 | 14 h 31 m | Show
New York won six of its last eight games.Yankees are #1 in runs scored vs. the A's at #25. Montgomery is 2-0, 1.38 in his last two starts. Gray is 0-1, 7.64 in his last three starts. Oakland lost six of its last seven games and are 2-5 in Grays last 7 starts during game 1 of a series. I'm on the Yankees for my bonus play. |
|||||||
06-15-17 | Giants v. Rockies -148 | 9-10 | Win | 100 | 12 h 10 m | Show
Colorado has outscored the Giants 40-21 in their 6 wins in 7 meetings so far this year. Moore is 0-3, 5.87 in his last four starts and the Giants are 1-6 in his road starts. He's also given up 11 runs in his last two starts against the Rockies. Hoffman is 4-0, 2.10 in his first four starts. In the last three, he's allowed just one earned run each time out and has struck out 24 over the last 20.1 innings. Giants are 4-11 in their last 15 games. Rockies are 7-3 in home series openers. I like the Rockies here. I'm taking the -1 to reduce the juice. |
|||||||
06-14-17 | A's v. Marlins -157 | 6-11 | Win | 100 | 3 h 8 m | Show
Gossett is making his MLB debut while Volquez is 3-0, 0.41 in his last three starts. Oakland is 2-9 in their last 11 road games while Miami won eight of last nine home games including the 8-1 win yesterday where they outhit the A's 11-3. I'm taking the -1 on this early game and let's wrap this one up with a win before the afternoon lets out. |
|||||||
06-11-17 | Tigers v. Red Sox -151 | 8-3 | Loss | -151 | 10 h 22 m | Show
Norris is 0-2, 5.48 ERA in his last four starts and Pomeranz is 3-0, 2.50 ERA in his last three starts. Tigers have lost four of their last five games while Boston has won five of seven and seven of their last eight home games including an 11-3 beatdown yesterday. Red Sox with a better starter, hotter offense, home advantage are looking for the sweep today. Take the -1 RL to reduce the juice. |
|||||||
06-08-17 | Twins v. Mariners -122 | 2-1 | Loss | -122 | 12 h 12 m | Show
Gibson is 2-0, 6.19 ERA in his last three starts and given up 16 earned runs in 20 innings on the road. Bergman is 2-0, 1.38 ERA in his last two starts. Minnesota lost three of their last four games. Seattle won eight of last nine games and 5 in a row while bringing in 46 runs during the 5 game winning streak. The Twins have given up 18 runs at Safeco in their last 2 games and are staring at a sweep. I'm on Seattle. |
|||||||
06-04-17 | Rays v. Mariners -125 | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 7 h 22 m | Show
Seattle has won 5 in a row and six of its last seven games against Tampa Bay at Safeco. Ramirez is 2-0, 4.26 ERA  and Miranda is 2-0, 2.45 ERA in four starts this year. Tampa Bay lost three of their last four games. Seattle won six of their last seven games. The Mariners brought in 21 runs in their last 2 games by way of 27 hits. I'm taking Seattle to remain very hot and complete this sweep. |
|||||||
05-31-17 | Phillies v. Marlins -127 | 2-10 | Win | 100 | 3 h 36 m | Show
Nola is 1-2, 5.00 in his last three starts  and Philadelphia is 3-10 in Nola’s last 13 starts.Straily is 2-1, 2.74 in his last four starts. Miami won four of their last five games. Phillies lost nine of last 11 games and 24 of their last 30. The Marlins haven't swept the Phillies in nearly 5 years. They are hitting well and would like to finish their month on a high note at home. This is a good price in this spot. |
|||||||
05-30-17 | Dodgers -112 v. Cardinals | 9-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 26 m | Show
The Dodgers are 21-8 in their last 29 Tuesday games and 4-0 in Maedas last 4 starts. They are ranked 5th overall in runs scored compared to the 25th place Cardinals. St. Louis have lost 4 or 5 and 9 of 12 recent games while the Dodgers are 8-2 in their last 10 and winners of 6 out of their last 7. The price is right on LA to keep riding the hot hand and continue finding ways to win games. |
|||||||
05-28-17 | Mariners v. Red Sox -185 | 5-0 | Loss | -185 | 1 h 14 m | Show
Chase Anderson had a superhero turn yesterday on the mound. Nothing we could do about that. Still a great look. Boston to complete the sweep today at home at the -1.5 for a very cheap play to fight the limit the higher juice as we get ready for larger wagers in June. |
|||||||
05-27-17 | Diamondbacks -130 v. Brewers | 1-6 | Loss | -130 | 6 h 45 m | Show
Arizona has won 10 of their last 11 while the Brewers have lost 5 in a row. Huge pitching mismatch with  Greinke winning four straight starts with a 2.37 ERA in that span and dominating in Milwaukee with 16 wins out of 18 decisions. Anderson gave up 6 runs in four innings last Sunday with 3 home runs served and is 0-1, 7.30 ERA in his last five starts. Arizona is confident and they have their moneybags starter dealing right now so let's see if they continue to remain the hottest team in the league. |
|||||||
05-26-17 | Mariners v. Red Sox -166 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 37 m | Show
Mariners lost 10 of their last 14 games. Boston won its last four games. Gallardo is 1-2, 7.00 ERA in his last five starts and gave up 10 runs (nine earned) in 3 2/3 innings of a loss to the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Rodriguez is 3-0, 2.61 in his last six starts. I'm on the Red Sox at the -1 to keep winning at home. |
|||||||
05-25-17 | Rockies -119 v. Phillies | 1-2 | Loss | -119 | 4 h 33 m | Show
The Rockies have won eight of the last ten games and the Phillies lost nine of their last ten games and 20 of 24. Colorado hasn't slowed down outhitting Philly 12-3 yesterday. Philly has only scored 8 runs in their last 5 games (all losses). Velasquez is not the guy they want here with an 0-2, 7.27 ERA in his last three starts. Tyler Anderson has three straight quality starts, permitting only six runs while striking out 25 over 17 2/3 innings. With the way Colorado has been attacking the ball, it's hard not to back them here. |
|||||||
05-18-17 | Phillies v. Rangers -137 | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 2 h 37 m | Show
Texas is worth another look here at home this afternoon. They're the hottest team in the league looking to give more run support to Martin Perez who receives the lowest amount of runs (2.25) from his teammates in the entire AL. With the offense on fire as of late, the Rangers should reverse this trend for their starter while putting more pressure on a weak starter with Philly's Nick Pivetta who hasn't settled into the big leagues in his 3 starts going 0-2 with a 6.14 ERA. Texas with the -1 run line to keep the juice very low, to lower our risk is where I want this one today. |
|||||||
05-17-17 | White Sox v. Angels -161 | 8-12 | Win | 100 | 12 h 27 m | Show

05-15-17 | Braves v. Blue Jays -124 | 10-6 | Loss | -124 | 9 h 26 m | Show
Toronto has won 5 in a row and 6-1 in their last 7 series openers. They stay at home and welcome the Braves who traveled in from Miami after losing 3-1 to the team with the lowest RPI in the league (Marlins). Jays have won 7 of 8 and 8-2 in their last 10. Atlanta is 3-7 in their last 10 and they've dropped 7 of 9. Bartolo Colon is 44 years old and the oldest active player in the MLB. He's 0-3 with a 9.55 ERA in his last 3 starts. Bolsinger is 0-1 with a 3.18 ERA overall and gave up 2 runs in his last start spanning 5.2 innings. Toronto is hot and Atlanta arrives in Canada at the wrong place and wrong time with the wrong pitcher. |
|||||||
05-14-17 | A's v. Rangers -124 | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 5 h 4 m | Show
The Texas Rangers have won 5 in a row. They've outscored opponents 31-12 during this span. Graveman is 0-2, 5.51 ERA in his last three starts. Griffin is 4-0, 1.73 ERA in his last four starts. Rangers are 11-4 in their last 15 home games. This is a good spot for the sweep in Texas. |
|||||||
05-13-17 | Pirates v. Diamondbacks -148 | 4-3 | Loss | -148 | 10 h 30 m | Show
Pirates lost their last six games. Arizona won its last three games. Trevor Williams had a trash night in his first 2017 start on Monday where he gave up eight runs in three innings to the Angels. Taijuan Walker is  2-1, 3.72 in his last five starts. Brandon Drury is on a 10 game hit streak, and averaging  a major league-best .454 in 67 home at-bats this season. I'm on the Dbacks to keep it up after 16 hits and 11 runs yesterday against a truly awful Pirates team tonight. |
|||||||
05-10-17 | Cardinals -105 v. Marlins | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 34 m | Show
Lynn is 4-0, 0.72 in his last four starts and has permitted only two runs and 16 hits over 25 innings during the past four turns. Koehler is 1-1, 6.63 in his last four starts and given up 9 homers in his last 30 innings over the last 6 starts. St Louis won its last eight road games. Miami lost 11 of last 14 games; six of last seven at home. I'm on the Cards. |

05-08-17 | Yankees v. Reds +121 | 10-4 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 32 m | Show
First pick of the MLB season. We'll keep it small for now at 1 unit and build from there. The value is on the Reds who are just as hot as the Yankees right now with both teams on 5 game win streaks. The Yanks needed 18 innings at Wrigley against the Cubs and will have to travel into Cincy with an overtaxed bullpen. The Reds at +120 is the pick to win 1 unit.Â

|
|||||||
10-20-16 | Cubs -150 v. Dodgers | 8-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 16 m | Show
2-3-2 series with the Cubs' bats waking up after a 10-2 thrashing. No travel needed with the final game scheduled in LA before heading back to Chicago and a big pitching mismatch to favor the Cubs. Maeda (0-1 9.00 ERA) has not been impressive in the post-season and he'll have to match up against a big game pitcher like Jon Lester (1-0 0.64 ERA). Momentum, confidence and pitching means everything in the post-season and the Cubs have all three to their advantage. I'm on the Cubs. |
|||||||
10-17-16 | Indians v. Blue Jays -172 | 4-2 | Loss | -172 | 9 h 11 m | Show
1 MLB pick today. The Toronto Blue Jays have their backs against the wall and will aim to avoid going down 0-3 in the series at home with Marcus Stroman on the mound against Trevor Bauer. Jays for 1 unit. |

10-04-16 | Orioles v. Blue Jays -143 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show

09-29-16 | Rockies v. Giants -190 | 2-7 | Win | 100 | 12 h 59 m | Show
It's all on the Giants to bring the heat as they feel the pressure to deliver another post-season birth. They've been here before and after taking a loss yesterday, there is no more room for dropping games. Cueto won 3 in a row, took one start off and returned for a quality bullpen session and he's back on with a stellar 17-5 record with a 2.79 ERA. Jon Gray has some good stuff as well and I'm weary of going larger than 1 unit with so few games remaining. The Rockies are 3-15 in Gray's last 18 starts on the road. Colorado has given up 4 or more runs in 10 out of their last 14 and the Giants have allowed 3 runs or less in the same span. The -1 Run Line is the only way to get this wager or I recommend laying off if you don't wish to use the -1 MLB calculator in your member section at SportsAtari or if your book won't give you the -1. Giants for 1 unit. |
|||||||
09-28-16 | A's v. Angels -125 | 6-8 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show
Oakland is 3-10 in Sonny Gray's last 13 starts and 0-4 in his last 4 against the Angels. It's known that Oakland only wants to work Gray's arm for 1 or 2 innings in this game before they pull him since he's coming off the DL. Oakland doesn't have much interest or pride left in their season after dropping 7 of 8 games and only totaling 2 runs in their last 4 losses. LA has won 6 of 7 recent games overall and 9-2 in game 3 situations. They should sweep the A's and regain some resemblance of confidence  while they return to recognizing just how talented they are. They'll use their pride and momentum to own the edge in this matchup. I'm taking the Angels. |
|||||||
09-27-16 | Phillies v. Braves -140 | 6-7 | Win | 100 | 12 h 7 m | Show
Both teams are done but this is the last home series of the season at Turner Field in Atlanta and they've just returned from 2 days off following the canceled game in Miami. Philly had a game off after getting spanked 17-0 by the Mets on Sunday. The Braves are 7-1 in their last 8 and they're positive about the strides they've taken late this season to translate to better success next season. Teheran is the guy we want on the mound, winning 3 of his last 5. Braves are 9-3 against sub .500 teams. I'm on Atlanta. |
|||||||
09-23-16 | Mariners -132 v. Twins | 10-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 24 m | Show
It's simply a bad spot for the Twins after a double header yesterday to be playing a team that had the day off and is desperate to stay in the post-season hunt. Seattle's chances are slim, but this is a favorable do-or-die opportunity for the team to show each other if they really want to make something happen so late down the most important stretch of the season. Seattle is 6-0 in their last 6 on the road and the Twins are 6-25 in their last 31 overall. James Paxton didn't allow a run in his last start over 5 innings and given up 3 or less in 7 of his last 9 starts overall. Gibson is 1-7 in his last 12 giving batters a .312 average against him. I have to recommend Seattle here as the best overall pick of the day. |
|||||||
09-21-16 | Yankees -130 v. Rays | 11-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 0 m | Show
New York won 5-3 off 10 hits to 6 in Tampa and continue to have an outside shot at securing the 2nd Wild Card spot. The Yankees are 7-0 in Tanaka’s last 7 starts vs. the Rays. They're also 26-9 in Tanaka’s last 35 starts against a sub .500 team. Cobb missed all of 2015 and gets only his 4th start of the season and second against the Yankees after surrendering 4 runs against them on the 8th of this month. New York has won 4 of the last 5 meetings and should be able to stay in contention while supporting their ace tonight. Take the Yankees. |
|||||||
09-20-16 | Angels v. Rangers -172 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 29 m | Show
The magic number to winning the division sits at 3 games for the Rangers with Houston trailing by 9.5. The milestone of 90 wins and the motivation to get this AL West crown wrapped up early while coming off a walk-off and a current pitching mismatch, has Texas favored as the best bet of the night. Angels are 2-12 against +.600 teams in the road. Texas is 10-3 at home against sub .500 teams. Rangers have won 6 of Griffin's last 8 at home as he's coming off a 2 run performance off 4 hits in 7 innings against the Astros. Wright owns a 7.04 ERA off an 0-3 record and he's shaky at best in a spot where the Angels don't really have much more to offer as they've gone 9-21 on the road and 3-7 in their last 10. |
|||||||
09-16-16 | Twins v. Mets -179 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
|
|||||||
09-13-16 | Mets -115 v. Nationals | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 54 m | Show
The Mets win with their defense. They hold the 27th ranked batting average in the league but they're a top quality contender because they limit opposition runs. They hold the 2nd Wild Card spot and are only a half game above the Cardinals. There is no room for error with a team like the Mets who hope to reach the NL championship once again. They send out their ace in Noah Syndergaard who comes off a shutout performance in 5 innings of work while holding down a 2.48 ERA for the season. He's also 4-1 with a 1.93 ERA in his last 5 starts. Cole dueled with Syndergaard earlier this month giving up only 1 run in 6 innings to earn his first and only win this season. The total is at 7.5 and I want you to grab that number. If you're only choice is the 7, then you have to take the push on a 4-3 result. I'm looking for a lower scoring game after the Mets got taken for 8 runs yesterday. Mets also look good here for the win with Washington simply cruising into the post-season. |
|||||||
09-12-16 | A's v. Royals -157 | 16-3 | Loss | -157 | 10 h 32 m | Show
The Royals are the World Series title holders and they know what needs to be done in September in order to compete once again. They're in a win-now-or-die-trying mode with 4 games out of the 2nd Willd Card spot. A 10-2 hitting performance and a 2-0 shutout win over the White Sox has the Royals up 5 of their last 8. Meanwhile KC is 16-6 in home series openers and will need to set the tone early against the A's who've lost 9 of their last 12. Detwiler is 0-3, 6.43 in his last 4 starts while Gee is 2-1, 2.96 in his last 4.  The A's have lost 5 of 6 in KC and should lose another here tonight. Detwiler and the A's are in the toughest spot of the day here making KC the MLB play of the Day. Take the -1 to reduce the juice. |
|||||||
09-11-16 | Giants +107 v. Diamondbacks | 5-3 | Win | 107 | 4 h 0 m | Show
Moore is 2-1 with a 1.78 ERA in his last 3 starts and Greinke is 1-1, 7.56 in his last 3. Giants have won 3 of 4 recent games while the Dbacks have lost 5 in a row. San Francisco is going to have to heat up and Arizona is the type of team to allow it especially after the Giants exploded on them yesterday. Grienke still has some stuff in the tank but the bullpen is taxed and terrible. The Giants are undervalued here. Take them again for the win. |
|||||||
09-09-16 | Indians -145 v. Twins | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 26 m | Show
Indians won 10-7 yesterday, swung some hot bats and have won 8 of their last 10 games. They hold a 6 game lead in the AL Central and would like to keep it that way. Minnesota has lost 17 of their last 20 overall and they send out Tyler Duffey who is 0-2 with a 14.85 ERA in his last 2 starts. Danny Salazar gave up 1 run in 5.2 innings in his last turn and has struck out 21 batters over his last 2 starts spanning 11 innings. Take the Indians. |
|||||||
09-07-16 | Orioles -115 v. Rays | 6-7 | Loss | -115 | 2 h 26 m | Show
We'll take the loss on the Tigers and balance it out with 2 wagers today on the Orioles ML and Red Sox -1.5. Both teams are fighting in the AL East and will take the task of attacking the plate on both ends and coming ahead with the win. O's have won 6 of 9 and look to sweep the Rays as they've won 9 of the last 10 meetings between them. Dylan Bundy is coming off an impressive 8-0 win where he gave up nothing and 2 hits in 5.2 innings to the Yankees. Smyly gave up 5 runs in 5 innings to the Red Sox is his last turn and 29 homers in 26 starts in 2016. |
|||||||
09-06-16 | Cubs -170 v. Brewers | 5-12 | Loss | -170 | 9 h 48 m | Show
The Cubs are 37-14 in their last 51 games, 5-1 in Hammel’s last six Tuesday starts, and 7-2 in his last nine overall while the Brewers are1-7 in their last eight home games. Take the Cubs. |
|||||||
09-06-16 | Tigers -110 v. White Sox | 0-2 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 45 m | Show
Detroit sits 4.5 games behind the Indians for the AL Central lead, but the Wild Card is where they have their best chance at making the post-season. It's all about getting hot at the right time and the Tigers are 5-1 in their last 6 overall and 7-3 in their last 10 .They are also 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between both teams. Matt Boyd has won five straight decisions while Miguel Gonzalez returns from injury and gave up 7 runs last week in 4.1 innings through a Triple A rehab start. Not much confidence in him against a hot Miguel Cabrera and the Tigers.  Detroit is 8-1 in their last 8 road games. Take the Tigers. |

09-02-16 | Braves +137 v. Phillies | 8-4 | Win | 137 | 9 h 32 m | Show
Both teams have had rough seasons. Both teams rank at the bottom of the NL East but one team is ready to pack it all up while the other is clicking and riding a wave that we haven't ignored. Atlanta swept the Padres with 24 runs scored in 3 games while Philly has only 3 runs in the same span.The Braves will rally behind De La Cruz who is still searching for his first major league win with a 3.27 ERA in 2 starts over the Phillies. Hellickson is just regarded as unused trade-bait at this point with this club. He gave up 5 runs to the Mets on Saturday and there just isn't any motivation behind him to do anything special here. Braves are 7-4 in their last 11 games while Philly is 3-8 in the same span. I'm on the Braves again. |

08-30-16 | Mariners v. Rangers -163 | 7-8 | Win | 100 | 11 h 35 m | Show
The Mariners are 1-5 in their last 6 games, 3-7 in their last 10 and 0-5 against the Rangers when Cole Hamels starts. Hamels is 2-1 with a 1.59 ERA in his last 4 starts and his team is 15-3 when he starts at home. Rangers are winning well at home with 7 W's in their last 8 on their field. Mariners have lost 5 of their last 6 away. Texas is a great pick tonight. |
|||||||
08-28-16 | Cubs -149 v. Dodgers | 0-1 | Loss | -149 | 6 h 50 m | Show
The Cubs are 23-5 in their last 28 overall and won 8 of 10 before a 3-2 loss on Saturday to the Dodgers despite a slight hit advantage at 8-6. Huge advantage on the mound for the Cubs with Jon Lester going 14-4 with a 2.81 ERA and his team winning his last 7 starts. Lester is 4-0 with a 1.71 ERA in his last 5 starts. Brock Stewart is 0-2 with an 11.25 ERA. He's been rushed into this starting position where he's given up 5 runs or more in his 2 starts. He's also given up 6 homers in 12 innings of total work. The Cubs are 5-1 in their last 6 meetings against the Dodgers. |
|||||||
08-26-16 | A's v. Cardinals -157 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 28 m | Show
Detwiler has given up 11 runs and 18 hits over 8 2/3 total frames in his last two starts. Weaver gave up 3 to the Phillies and 2 to the Cubs in his last 2 starts, but this kid is a top level prospect making his 3rd career start after going 7-3 with a 1.30 ERA in 13 minor league starts. The Cardinals are 5-1 in their last 6 games following a loss and 8-3 in their last 11 during game 1 of a series. The A's are 2-10 in their last 12 road games and 2-14 in their last 16 vs. National League Central. Take the Cardinals at the -1. |
|||||||
08-25-16 | Braves v. Diamondbacks -163 | 3-1 | Loss | -163 | 9 h 0 m | Show
Atlanta has lost 9 of 11 recent games and 12 out of their last 13 has gone over. Arizona smashed 18 hits en route to a 10-9 win in extras yesterday over the Braves. Robbie Ray has been dealing  with a 2.0 record and a 1.42 ERA in his last 3 starts. Matt Wisler is 0-3 with a 11.15 ERA in his last 3 starts. Atlanta has lost 6 of 8 recent games in Arizona. I'm on Arizona -1. |

08-25-16 | Indians v. Rangers -147 | 0-9 | Win | 100 | 7 h 20 m | Show
Atlanta has lost 9 of 11 recent games and 12 out of their last 13 has gone over. Arizona smashed 18 hits en route to a 10-9 win in extras yesterday over the Braves. 08-24-16 | Phillies v. White Sox -104 | 5-3 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 8 m | Show
The White Sox play at home where they are 8-3 in their last 11. They've won 3 in a row and scored 19 runs in that span. The Phillies have given up 18 runs in their last 2 games and answered back with only 1 run. We know it's a good time to fade Philly when they get into their annual scoring funk. They've been outscored 50-20 in their last 7. Both pitchers are suspect right now but go with the hotter team with full confidence as they aim to roll out another win at home. |

08-22-16 | Rockies -104 v. Brewers | 2-4 | Loss | -104 | 3 h 47 m | Show
Colorado has won 4 of 5 and 9 out of the last 11 home series openers. The Brewers have lost 6 of 7 recent games and send out their worst slumping pitcher in Jimmy Nelson. He's 0-6 with an 8.04 ERA in his last 6 starts  and gave up 6 runs in 5 innings in his last start. Chad Bettis has given up 3 runs or less in 7 out of 8 recent starts and his 4-0 in the same span. He did well against the Brewers last year with 1 run allowed in 6.1 innings the last time they met. I'm on the Rockies. |
|||||||
08-19-16 | Diamondbacks -142 v. Padres | 4-7 | Loss | -142 | 14 h 51 m | Show
The Arizona Dbacks will have a bitter taste in their mouths after giving up 3 runs in the 8th inning to lose 9-8 in San Diego despite a 14 hit performance. They'll be looking to bounce back after splitting their 4 games where they've averaged 9 runs per game in that span. The Padres lost 5 in a row with only 6 total runs to show for it before winning last night. Arizona's offense is more consistently potent and they send out their ace who desperately needs to correct his form. Greinke had a brutal start in his last turn but he should do fine against a team that he's gone 7-1 against with a 1.91 ERA and a 0.83 WHIP. Cosart pitches for SD with a 3.77 ERA in his last 3 starts and no wins to show for it. Dbacks are 9-2 in Greinke's last 11 starts. Take Arizona. I'm personally taking the -1 run line and you can too with my -1 calculator offered at my site. All the Best, SportsAtari |

08-15-16 | Mariners -128 v. Angels | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show
Two teams in opposite ends of the spectrum face each other tonight in California. The Mariners stay in the state after downing the A's yesterday 8-4 while the ugly Angels fly back from Cleveland after a 5-4 loss. LA has lost 10 in a row while the Mariners are 10-2 in their last 12. It's time for King Felix to continue his return to form after a solid 7 inning turnout with only 1 run allowed over the Tigers. Hernandez is 2-0, 3.81 in his last four starts and Nolasco is 0-1, 5.25 in his last two starts. Nolasco has had 3 starts in Angel Stadium going 1-1 with a 7.00 ERA. The Mariners are 4-1 in Hernandez's last 5 starts.Take Seattle. |
|||||||
08-14-16 | Cardinals v. Cubs -170 | 6-4 | Loss | -170 | 8 h 49 m | Show
The Cubs ate it with 6 runs given up in the 8th inning. The bullpen took away what the starters have been building over this 11 game win streak with an 8-0, 1.38 ERA in August from their rotation. John Lackey is 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA in his last 3 starts while Mike Leake is 1-2 with an ugly 9.41 ERA in his last 4. Cardinals have lost 7 of his last 10 starts, Cubs are 41-18 at home and the Cards come in with losses in 9 out of their last 14 games. Cubs are 11-3 in their last 14 game 4 situations. Cubs have to be considered the best play on the board today and we'll take it on the -1 to win 1.8 units. |
|||||||
08-13-16 | Tigers v. Rangers -160 | 2-0 | Loss | -160 | 8 h 60 m | Show
Texas is hot having won 6 of 7 and they send out their ace in Cole Hamels who is having a Cy Young type of season. Hamels has allowed just seven earned runs over his last five starts for Texas. He's 12-3 with a 1.25 WHIP and 2.89 ERA. Detroit has lost 5 in a row with 3 of those losses at 1 run or less. Matt Boyd is 3-2,  with a 4.69 ERA and his team has lost 9 of his last 10 road starts. Tigers are slumping after a hot stretch.  Texas at the -1 is the right price for us now at -125. Take the moneyline if you wish or check out my -1 calculator if you contact me directly at Sports Atari.  |
|||||||
08-12-16 | Angels v. Indians -157 | 3-13 | Win | 100 | 9 h 16 m | Show
There is definitely a pitching advantage with Tyler Skaggs returning from Tommy John surgery and giving up 4 runs in 5.1 innings in his last start. Carrasco gave up 3 in 7 innings in his last turn. The opener of Cleveland's 11 game homestand went very well with a 14-4 win and a 14-6 hitting performance over the Angels. Its' time for the Tribe to make their push back into serious contention for the division and the AL crown as they still own a 4 game lead over the Tigers in the AL Central. LA is 3-7 in their last 10 and losers of 6 straight road games. Take the Indians for a cheaper price on the -1 and take the push if they only win by 1 run. |
|||||||
08-11-16 | Cardinals v. Cubs -150 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
The Cubs have to continue to be the play until they prove otherwise. They are simply too hot and continue to own the edge in pitching matchups. Martinez is 0-1 with an 8.25 ERA in his last 2 starts. He gave up 7 on Saturday to the Braves and 6 runs to the Cubs in late May when he faced them last. Lester is 3-0 with a 2.55 ERA in his last 4 starts and gave up 2 runs off 6 hits in his last start to the A's. Cubs have won 7 of Lester's last 9 home starts. Cardinals have lost 7 of their last 11. Cubs have won 9 in a row and are playing their best baseball of the season. Chicago has won 17 of the last 20 game 1 spots in a series at home. We have to ride the hot streak and notice the danger of betting on many other shady lines and matchups on the board that offer little to no edge on Thursday. It's the Cubs or nothing. |
|||||||
08-10-16 | Angels v. Cubs -185 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 16 m | Show
The Cubs won their last 8 games and are 10-1 in their last 11 overall. The Angels lost 10 of last 12 road games and 5 in a row overall. Nolasco is 0-1, 5.32 ERA in his last 4 starts and he allowed five runs in 6 innings in his Angels debut on Thursday to the A's. Hammel got a 6 shutout inning win in his last turn and he's 4-0, 1.50 ERA in his last four starts. Take the Cubs on the -1. |
|||||||
08-07-16 | Cubs -154 v. A's | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 5 h 52 m | Show
The Cubs are going for 7 in a row and 2 consecutive series sweeps. They've won 9 of 10, while Oakland has lost 7 of 8. The A's have only 10 hits in the past 2 games with 2 runs to show for it. They bring out Manaea who hasn't won in his last 6 games with 5 runs given up in 5.2 innings in his last start. Hendricks is a beast with a 3-2 record in July where he only gave up 3 earned runs in 24 total innings. He's given up no runs in 5 of his last 6 and a scoreless shutout on Monday spanning 7 innings. The Cubs are 7-1 in Hendricks' last 8 starts. Take the Cubs for the 3rd day in a row and let's see if they can keep the fire blazing with hot bats and their best pitcher on the mound. |

08-06-16 | Orioles -124 v. White Sox | 2-4 | Loss | -124 | 7 h 12 m | Show
Orioles have won 4 of 5 recent games after losing 5 in a row. The White Sox have lost 7 of 9. O's are 4-0 in Tillman's last 4 starts on the road and 19-4 in his last 23 overall. The White Sox are 3-10 in Rodon's last 13 starts. Tillman gave up 2 runs in 5.2 innings in his last turn. Rodon gave up 5 runs in 6.1 innings last time and the O's have brought in 10 runs in 13 innings during Rodon's last 3 starts against them. After 16 hits to 10 yesterday, look for the Orioles to keep it up today while they limit their opponents. Take Baltimore. |
|||||||
08-06-16 | Cubs -180 v. A's | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 4 h 3 m | Show
The Cubs have won 8 of 9 while the A's have lost 7 of 10. Cubs are 10-1 in Arrieta's last 11 road starts against sub .500 teams. Arrieta only gave up 2 runs and 2 hits in 7 innings in his last turn. Sonny Gray gave up 7 runs to the Indians in 3.1 innings. A's have only won 2 out of Gray's last 7 starts at home and only 4 of his last 16 starts overall. Take the much hotter and better team. |
|||||||
08-05-16 | Marlins v. Rockies +101 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
The Marlins have lost 5 of 7 recent games while Colorado is still hot despite the loss yesterday by winning 11 of their last 14. Colorado is 6-1 in their last 7 series openers and 57-18 when De La Rosa starts at home. Phelps is not a starter and he's going to be limited to 2 or 3 innings on a strict pitch count. He's given up 11 runs on 9.2 innings of work in his last 2 turns at Coors Field. Take the Rockies in this spot. |
|||||||
08-04-16 | Dodgers v. Rockies +137 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 29 m | Show
We're taking a look at the hottest team right now at home in a hitter friendly park where pitching takes a backseat. I can make a case for Maeda and Chatwood who are both coming off great games with Chatwood allowing only 1 run and 4 hits in in his last 2 games spanning 12 innings while Maeda continues a solid season in a pitcher friendly division. This is where the bats come out and with 17 hits yesterday, the Rockies won 12-2 which makes the Dodgers losers of 4 out of their last 6. LA has only won 2 of 9 recent games at Coors Field. Colorado has won 13 of 16, 6-0 at home, 4-0 in Chatwood's last 4 starts with 5 days rest and a 14-5 record since the All-Star break. The Rockies has won 10 of 11 recent games where they've scored 4 or more runs. Look for the Rockies to sweep at home. |

08-03-16 | Giants -179 v. Phillies | 4-5 | Loss | -179 | 3 h 57 m | Show
The Giants still have a 2 game lead on the Dodgers in the NL West but they haven't been at their best since the break. I liked the offensive production with 8 runs, but they look for better pitching tonight after surrendering 13 runs to the Phillies in game 1. It's Johnny Cueto's turn (2.63 ERA) and I'm backing him to keep the hapless Phillies grounded tonight.  The Giants are  6-0 in Cueto’s last 6 starts in game 2 of situations and 10-1 in his last 11 road starts. Phillies have won only 3 of 8 home games, haven't won a series in a month and turn to Aaron Nola (4.78 ERA) who has given up 5 or more runs in 5 of his last 7 turns. The Phillies are 0-4 in game 2 spots, 1-5 with Nola starting at home and 1-7 in his last 8 starts overall. I'm taking the Giants at -1. |

08-02-16 | Nationals -148 v. Diamondbacks | 10-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 60 m | Show
Is Washington just a trap game as the top public bet or are there way too many reasons why they deserve to be the top pick today? Tanner Roark is the better pitcher here by far with his team going 7-1 in their last 8 when he starts against sub. 500 teams and 5-1 in his last 6 overall. Washington is also 6-0 in a game 2 situation and coming off a 19 hit performance in a hitter friendly park to win 14-1 against Arizona. Robbie Rays starts for the Dbacks after giving up 5 runs in 5.2 inning against the Brewers. His team is 1-6 when he starts but they're just a bad team overall right now. 30 runs allowed in their last 3 games, 7-22 in their last 29 games and losers of 10 out of 13 has Arizona in a tough spot to win here. I can't bet on the Nats until they get their offense going. With the dust settling on all trades and rosters looking much more set, it's time for the best teams to pull away. The Nats have scored 4 or more runs in 6 of their last 8 games. Ray has a 5.17 ERA at home this season compared to Roark at 2.79 away. Roark has not allowed a run to Arizona in 18.1 innings of total work against them in his career. He gave up only 1 run in 7 innings last time to the Giants. That's plenty of reasons to take Washington. The push could happen with such a large public favorite winning by only 1 run to burn -1.5 bets on them but we'll get a good price at the -1 for -118 right now if you care not take the juicy -148 moneyline. Take the Nationals. |

08-01-16 | Red Sox +104 v. Mariners | 2-1 | Win | 104 | 8 h 21 m | Show
The Mariners played yesterday in extra innings at Wrigley into the 12th, only to suffer a tough 7-6 loss and a quick turnaround flight across the country to Seattle to face the Red Sox. Seattle is 3-9 when Paxton starts in his last 12 and he's given up 15 runs in his last 3 (15.2 innings) compared to Rodriguez who gave up 6 (17.2 innings). Boston hasn't been playing to their potential but their front office continues to push for more acquisitions to boost their roster but more importantly to boost the motivation and morale of team that they believe to be buyers and pennant competitors as they sit only 1.5 games out of first in the AL East.  Boston has won 3 of Rodriquez's 4 road starts.  Paxton is 1-1, 8.62 in his last three home starts. I'm going with Boston in a better spot, traveling up from LA following a 5-3 win to the Angels and ready to make a strong push as they start August in Seattle in a slight underdog or even odds bet this Monday for a play that shouldn't warrant a high risk. |
|||||||
07-29-16 | Red Sox -154 v. Angels | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 26 m | Show
I don't like the way either team is playing but Boston cannot be discounted for their potent bats in a situation where they take on a pitcher that is pretty much done in the majors. Tim Lincecum could and should get shelled in this spot quick and early. I recommend a pick on the -1 to reduce the juice while taking Rick Porcello to earn the win that ties him for the lead in major league wins. Boston made a costly error in the 9th to lose last night and should come out attacking to make sure the score isn't close enough for another risky ending. Boston should roll here. |

07-29-16 | Orioles v. Blue Jays -137 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 26 m | Show
The Toronto Blue Jays get to take on their AL East rival with the hope of sweeping them this weekend to gain the top spot in the division. Baltimore flies in from Minnesota after the loss while the Jays had the night off. They purposely held Marco Estrada out of the Padres series to have him ready for this matchup in game 1. The Jays are 4-1 in Estrada's last 5 starts against Baltimore and 4-0 in his last 4 against the AL East. Opponents are averaging only .179 when he pitches at home. Orioles are 1-4 in their last 5 on the road and 5-17 when Gausman starts on the road in his last 22. The Jays are 14-6 in their last 20, 11-4 vs. a rightie starter and 11-4 at home in their last 15. Take Toronto. |
|||||||
07-28-16 | Orioles v. Twins -101 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 13 m | Show
Minnesota has been a bad team this year but they get enough hits to warrant a play against a terrible pitcher in Ubaldo Jimenez. Baltimore looks to avoid 3 losses in a row in this make up game with Baltimore flying in from home last night and flying out to Toronto after this game in Minnesota while the Twins remain home from their last series that ended yesterday and into tomorrow's series against the White Sox. Baltimore is 1-4 on the road in their last 5 and 1-7 when Jimenez starts on the road. Minnesota scored 7 runs yesterday after being down 7-0 with 13 total hits in a 9-7 loss to the Braves while the O's managed only 6 hits in a 3-1 loss to the Rockies. Gibson was great in his last turn with 1 run given up in 8 innings. Jimenez has given up 11 runs in his last 2 starts in only 5.2 innings of work. 5 or more runs given up in 10 starts this season has got to have us feeling like Jimenez is just a throw away pitcher in this make-up game with the faintest of hopes that he can contain the bats of Minnesota at home. Take the Twins. |

07-27-16 | Cardinals -121 v. Mets | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show
St. Louis and New York split the double header and will finish off this rubber match at 7:10pm Eastern tonight. St. Louis has won 6 of 10 between both teams and they are 10-2 on the road against home teams above +.500. The Cards are also 12-3 in their last 15 against a right handed starter. Verrett has the Mets 1-5 in his last 6 starts. He's allowed 68 hits in 67.1 innings this season and is facing the Cardinals for the first time ever. Adam Wainwright is at his best right now with only 3 runs allowed in his last 4 starts. St. Louis is 40-17 in his last 57 starts and 8-2 when he faces a +.500 team. Take the Cardinals away. |
|||||||
07-26-16 | Yankees v. Astros -139 | 6-3 | Loss | -139 | 8 h 45 m | Show
Small loss on Houston who were caught in a close one. I recommend taking them again with Doug Fister coming off a 4 hit performance in 7 innings in a shut out win over Oakland in his last start compared to CC Sabathia who is giving up 4 or more runs in his last 6 turns. I also believe the Cubs with Hendricks serves as their best shot to come away with a win off a pitcher who is 5-0 with a 0.72 ERA over his last six starts. The odds are too high for a moneyline pick there so take the -1. Finally, we look at the Red Sox who send out Steven Wright who has won 9 of 10 decisions and leads the AL in ERA against the Tigers who only average 3.3 runs a game. At 22 away games to 6 home games following this homestand, the Red Sox can't afford to lose again today. The line on them is large but we can stomach a smaller play on them at the -1 as long as we keep the wager lower than the other 2 bets. |

07-26-16 | Cubs -163 v. White Sox | 0-3 | Loss | -163 | 7 h 35 m | Show
