12-16-19 | Mavs v. Bucks OVER 227 | 120-116 | Win | 100 | 14 h 7 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT NBA 3-PACK The Milwaukee Bucks are playing at the highest pace in the league and they have the second-best offensive efficiency rating. No. 1 is the Dallas Mavericks who are 4-1 to the over in their last 5 games and 7-2 to the over in their last 9 games following a straight-up loss. Last time out, Dallas fell 122-118 in OT against Miami while Milwaukee is coming off a 125-107 win over Cleveland, the third straight game it scored 125+ points. 8* play on OVER. |
12-16-19 | Cavs v. Raptors UNDER 218 | 113-133 | Loss | -106 | 14 h 39 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT NBA 3-PACK Only the Milwaukee Bucks own a better defensive efficiency rating than the Toronto Raptors who limited Brooklyn to 102 points last time out. Each of the Raptors last three games have under the total and they're 6-1 to the under in their last 7 Monday games. As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, they have just six wins in 26 games, own the second-worst offensive efficiency rating in the league and under is 21-7-1 in Raptors last 29 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. 8* play on UNDER. |
12-14-19 | Thunder v. Nuggets UNDER 205 | 102-110 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 7 m | Show
LATE NIGHT NBA TOTAL The bookmakers have posted a low total for this game, but that does not discourage me from betting the under. Note that the Nuggets are 6-1-1 to the under in games with a total of 210 points or less this season while the Thunder are 3-0 to the under in such games. Denver has held its last two opponents to fewer than 100 points and OKC took a 94-93 loss to Sacramento last time out to make the under 6-1 in their last seven games overall. 8* play on UNDER. |
12-12-19 | Mavs v. Pistons UNDER 220.5 | Top | 122-111 | Loss | -106 | 24 h 18 m | Show |
THURSDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL *TOP PLAY* The Dallas Mavericks are one of the highest-scoring teams in the league, but I think the total is set too high for this matchup with the Detroit Pistons. Detroit is one of the slower teams in the league and it has played solid defense lately, holding four of its last five opponents to 103 points or fewer. Dallas saw a five-game winning streak come to an end with a 110-106 loss to Sacramento on Sunday. The Mavs have also played decent defense lately and their fresh legs should make it difficult for Detroit to get good looks. The under is 4-1 in Mavericks last 5 games playing on 3 or more days rest and 5-1 in their last 6 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Under is 4-1 in Pistons last 5 games as an underdog. 10* play on UNDER. |
12-11-19 | Knicks v. Warriors UNDER 210 | 124-122 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 8 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The struggling NY Knicks have lost 10 straight after taking a 115-87 beating at Portland last night. Under is 10-1 in the Knicks last 11 games playing on no rest and 7-2 in Knicks last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. That applies to the 5-20 Golden State Warriors who have averaged just 93.6 ppg over their last five games. The Knicks have the worst offensive efficiency rating in the NBA and the Warriors are only marginally better. 8* play on UNDER. |
12-11-19 | Celtics v. Pacers UNDER 210.5 | 117-122 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 38 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK Both the Indiana Pacers and the Boston Celtics are among the most solid teams in the NBA on the defensive end of the court and both sides have a pace factor in the bottom 10 of the league. The under is 9-3 in the Celtics last 12 overall and 16-5 in their last 21 games as an underdog. Under is 4-0 in the Pacers last 4 overall and 8-2 in their last 10 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points, a situation that fits here as they're coming off a 110-99 loss to the LA Clippers. The Celtics have limited three straight opponents to fewer than 95 points. 8* play on UNDER. |
12-11-19 | Lakers v. Magic UNDER 212.5 | Top | 96-87 | Win | 100 | 12 h 39 m | Show |
TOP RATED NBA TOTAL The Orlando Magic rank near the bottom of the league for offensive efficiency while only three teams have a better defensive efficiency rating than the LA Lakers who are 8-2 to the under in their last 10 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. The under is 8-1 in Magic last 9 vs. a team with a winning straight up record and they've averaged below 100 points through their last two games. 10* play on UNDER. |
12-10-19 | Knicks v. Blazers UNDER 219.5 | Top | 87-115 | Win | 102 | 15 h 44 m | Show |
KNICKS @ BLAZERS NBA TOTAL *TOP PLAY* The New York Knicks have the worst offensive efficiency rating in the NBA and only two teams have a lower pace factor. They've not scored more than 104 points through a nine-game skid and the under is 6-2 in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Here they'll face the 9-15 Portland Trail Blazers who are having a tough season and shot just 36 percent from the field and 9-of-33 (27%) from 3-point range in a 108-96 loss to OKC last time out.  10* play on UNDER. |
12-09-19 | Raptors v. Bulls OVER 214 | 93-92 | Loss | -108 | 13 h 31 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT RAPTORS @ BULLS TOTAL Both the Toronto Raptors and the Chicago Bulls will be playing on no rest. I think both teams will suffer from heavy legs and struggle to stop the other side on the break leading to a relatively high-scoring affair. Additionally, the Raptors are coming off three consecutive defeats and the over is 7-2-1 in Raptors last 10 games following a straight up loss while it's 14-4 in Bulls last 18 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings at United Center and I particularly like the Raptors to run up the score as they'll be desperate to put an end to their losing streak. 8* play on OVER. |
12-08-19 | Bulls v. Heat UNDER 212 | Top | 105-110 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 3 m | Show |
SUNDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL *TOP PLAY* The Chicago Bulls have one of the worst offensive efficiency ratings in the league while only a handful of teams are more efficient than the Miami Heat on defense. Additionally, neither of these two teams are playing at a particularly high tempo and the Bulls are 5-1 to the under in their last 6 while the under is 14-5 in the Heat's last 19 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Additionally, note that the under is 14-6 in the last 20 meetings. 10* play on UNDER. |
12-07-19 | Pelicans v. Mavs OVER 233 | Top | 84-130 | Loss | -101 | 5 h 6 m | Show |
TOP RATED SATURDAY NBA TOTAL PLAY OF THE DAY The Dallas Mavericks own the best offensive efficiency rating in the NBA while the New Orleans Pelicans have one of the worst defensive efficiency scores. The Mavs are 14-7 to the over overall on the season and the over/under is 7-2 in Mavericks last 9 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. The Pels enter this game on a seven-game losing streak during which they've allowed boatloads of points. Last time out, they took a 139-132 OT loss to Phoenix and the over is 15-7 in Pelicans last 22 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. 10* play on OVER. |
12-04-19 | Wolves v. Mavs OVER 231.5 | Top | 114-121 | Win | 100 | 13 h 12 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): TOP RATED 10* WEDNESDAY NIGHT TOTAL The Dallas Mavericks have won three on the bounce and eight of their last nine following a 118-97 win over New Orleans Tuesday night. They're a home favorite here against Minnesota but might find themselves in a tough spot with heavy legs. They'll face a Timberwolves team that has the fourth-highest pace factor in the league and will be playing on two days rest, so the visitors will surely make the Mavs run up and down the court. Scoring points is never an issue for the Mavericks who enter Wednesday with the highest offensive efficiency rating in the NBA, but playing on no rest might very well show on the defensive end. 10* play on OVER. |
12-03-19 | Lakers v. Nuggets UNDER 209 | Top | 105-96 | Win | 100 | 14 h 32 m | Show |
TOP RATED LAKERS @ NUGGETS BEST BET The LA Lakers had won 10 on the bounce prior to a 114-100 loss to Dallas last time out. Under is 5-0 in Lakers last 5 overall and 29-14 in their last 43 games following a straight up loss. Here they'll face a Denver team that played a sub-200 point game at Sacramento on Saturday despite going to overtime. Denver has the 2nd best defensive efficiency rating in the NBA this season with 99.9 points allowed per 100 possessions while the Lakers are 4th with 100.3 points allowed per 100 possessions. Additionally, neither team is likely to push the tempo, especially with Denver rated the 4th slowest team in the league on the season. Under is 22-8 in Nuggets last 30 home games and 20-8-1 in their last 29 games playing on two days rest. 10* play on UNDER. |
12-02-19 | Warriors v. Hawks OVER 222.5 | Top | 79-104 | Loss | -114 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
WARRIORS @ HAWKS TOP RATED NBA PLAY OF THE DAY These are two of the worst teams in the league on the defensive side of the ball with the Golden State Warriors giving up 116 ppg and the Atlanta Hawks 119 ppg. Additionally, both sides have a pace factor that ranks in the top half of the league with the Hawks tied for 8th averaging 15.4 possessions per game. Last time out the Hawks surrendered 158 points at Houston and they're 11-2 to the over in their last 13 games. The Warriors took a loss in a low-scoring game at Orlando on Sunday, but the over is 6-1 in their last seven in the second game of a back-to-back situation. While both sides can be inconsistent when on the ball, I think their issues of getting stops are even bigger. 10* play on OVER. |
12-01-19 | Thunder v. Pelicans OVER 228.5 | 107-104 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 59 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The New Orleans Pelicans are tied for the fourth highest pace factor in the NBA this season and they're tied for 24th in defensive efficiency. They've allowed 121+ ppg through a four-game losing streak. As for the OKC Thunder, they tend to play high-scoring games against poor teams with the over 7-2 in their last 9 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Additionally, the over is 7-2 in the last 9 meetings at Smoothie King Center. 8* play on OVER. |
12-01-19 | Mavs v. Lakers OVER 222 | 114-100 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 58 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The LA Lakers have one of the best defensive efficiency ratings in the league, but they'll have their work cut out for them here against a Dallas Mavericks side that has the very highest offensive effiency rating with 113.7 points per 100 possessions. The Mavs have averaged 120.9 ppg through their eight road games on the season with seven of those contests going over the total. 8* play on OVER. |
12-01-19 | Grizzlies v. Wolves OVER 230.5 | 115-107 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 29 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Memphis Grizzlies rank bottom 10 in the NBA for defensive efficiency and they have the 6th highest pace factor. The Minnesota Timberwolves are tied for the fourth-highest pace factor in the league and have averaged 119 ppg over their last two games. Over is 5-0 in Grizzlies last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and 11-4 in Timberwolves last 15 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The over is 8-4 in Minnesota games with a total over 225 points this season. 8* play on OVER. |
11-29-19 | Bulls v. Blazers OVER 225 | Top | 103-107 | Loss | -102 | 13 h 2 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED FRIDAY NIGHT TOTAL The Portland Trail Blazers have answered a four-game skid with back-to-back triumphs through which they've averaged 126.5 ppg. and the first of those two wins was a 117-94 win at Chicago on Nov 25. I think we'll see more points on the board for both teams here in the rematch on Black Friday. The Bulls may be one of the worst teams in the NBA for several offensive categories, but points should come fairly easy against a Portland side that ranks in the bottom 10 for defensive efficiency. Additionally, Portland has a top 10 pace factor and I think the home team will push the tempo and that the visitors will be more or less forced to oblige. Over is 9-2-1 in Trail Blazers last 12 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Over is 4-1 in Trail Blazers last 5 Friday games. Over is 6-2 in Bulls last 8 Friday games. 10* play on OVER. |
11-27-19 | Bulls v. Warriors UNDER 216.5 | Top | 90-104 | Win | 100 | 14 h 17 m | Show |
LATE NIGHT NBA TOTAL *TOP PLAY* The Golden State Warriors are having an absolutely abysmal year. Injuries have not helped matters and there's a clear lack of healthy shooting talent on the roster right now. The Warriors shot just 41.6 percent from the field in a 100-97 loss to the OKC Thunder Monday night and they're 5-2 to the under over their last seven games. As for the Chicago Bulls, they were held to 41.9 percent shooting in a 117-94 loss to Portland last time out. On the season, Chicago ranks 27th for offensive efficiency and Golden State 24th. Under is 13-3 in Bulls last 16 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Under is 4-1 in Warriors last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-27-19 | Knicks v. Raptors UNDER 211.5 | 98-126 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 59 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The New York Knicks have the second worst offensive efficiency in the NBA and only Orlando has a slower pace factor. They're 12-5 to the under on the season and here they'll face one of the best defensive teams in the league. The Toronto Raptors are coming off an impressive 101-96 win over Philly, and this looks like another game where they'll slow down the tempo and grind down their opponent. Under is 9-2-1 in Knicks last 12 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-27-19 | Pistons v. Hornets UNDER 216.5 | 101-102 | Win | 100 | 10 h 29 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Detroit Pistons are 4-1 to the under over their last five games. They've been limited to 90 points or fewer in two of those contests and held Orlando to 88 points in 103-88 triumph Monday night. As for the Charlotte Hornets, they've surrendered plenty of points through a five-game skid but should not be too worried about the Pistons, one of the slowest teams in the NBA, to run up the score. Under is 5-0-1 in the last 6 meetings. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-26-19 | Clippers v. Mavs OVER 227.5 | 114-99 | Loss | -109 | 12 h 43 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY Two of the hottest teams in the Association will battle it out Tuesday night as the Dallas Mavericks host the LA Clippers. Dallas has won five straight SU and ATS and it has scored 137+ points in each of its last three games, including an impressive 137-123 triumph at Houston last time out. The Clippers have also won their last five straight up but had failed to cover the spread in three straight prior to a 134-109 beatdown of New Orleans last time out. I think this game will mean a lot more for the Mavs who will be looking forward to this opportunity to take down an elite team in front of the home town crowd. The Clippers are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, and despite their 12-5 overall record, they're just 1-4 SU and ATS on the road this season. The Mavs are 35-16 ATS in their last 51 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and they've covered the spread on four straight occasions when hosting the Clippers. I also expect both teams to put up plenty of points to push the final score over the posted total. 8* play on OVER. |
11-25-19 | Lakers v. Spurs OVER 223 | Top | 114-104 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 11 m | Show |
TOP-RATED NBA TOTAL PLAY OF THE DAY The red hot LA Lakers travel to San Antonio riding a seven-game winning streak. They've scored 120 points or more in five of those games and here they'll face a San Antonio Spurs team that has had huge issues on the defensive end of the hardwood all season long. The Spurs surrendered a ridiculous 122.4 ppg through an ugly eight-game skid before picking up a 111-104 win at the low-scoring New York Knicks on Saturday. They have one of the worst defensive efficiencies in the league, but on the flip side, they're also top five for offensive efficiency and I think they'll force the Lakers into a shootout. Over is 9-2 in Spurs last 11 home games. Over is 12-4 in the last 16 meetings. 10* play on OVER. |
11-23-19 | Raptors v. Hawks OVER 223.5 | Top | 119-116 | Win | 100 | 19 h 34 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED SATURDAY TOTAL The Atlanta Hawks have one of the worst defensive efficiency ratings in the NBA, and their lack of defense was on full display in Friday night's 128-103 loss at Detroit. Playing on no rest won't do the Hawks any favors, and I expect the Raptors to run up the score quite freely. That being said, Atlanta has scored 100+ points in eight straight games and they put up 127 their last time out home at State Farm Arena. Over is 4-0 in Raptors last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Over is 8-0 in Hawks last 8 overall. 10* play on OVER. |
11-22-19 | Rockets v. Clippers OVER 226.5 | 119-122 | Win | 100 | 21 h 38 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Houston Rockets have one of the best offensive efficiency ratings in the league and only Milwaukee beats them for pace. They had won eight on the bounce and averaged 123 ppg through their last three before coming out flat in a 105-95 loss at Denver last time out. The Rockets defense can easily be exploited by top teams, and the Clippers with their 10-5 record fall into that category. Additionally, note that over is 13-6 in Clippers last 19 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. 8* play on OVER. |
11-22-19 | Spurs v. 76ers OVER 223.5 | Top | 104-115 | Loss | -101 | 18 h 3 m | Show |
SPURS @ SIXERS FRIDAY NIGHT *TOP PLAY* The San Antonio Spurs are going through a miserable stretch with losses in seven straight games, during which they've allowed an average of 123.4 ppg. Here they'll face a Philadelphia team that hardly has been lighting up the scoreboard lately, but the over is still 7-3 in 76ers last 10 overall. 7-1 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The Spurs can't defend against anyone, but they can put points on the board and I expect the final score to breeze over the posted total. 10* play on OVER. |
11-22-19 | Hawks v. Pistons OVER 225 | 103-128 | Win | 100 | 17 h 4 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Atlanta Hawks have allowed an average of 134 ppg through a four-game slide. They've topped 100 themselves in each of those games and put up a healthy 127 points against Milwaukee last time out, but still lost by eight. The Hawks rank near the bottom of the league for defensive efficiency, and Detroit is only marginally better. The Pistons have also dropped five on the bounce, and I think we'll see these two bottom-feeders try to outscore each other rather than hoping to shut down their opponent. 8* play OVER. |
11-21-19 | Pelicans v. Suns OVER 233 | Top | 124-121 | Win | 100 | 17 h 20 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* PELS @ SUNS TOTAL *BAILOUT PLAY* Both the New Orleans Pelicans and the Phoenix Suns have top 10 offensive efficiency ratings on the season. The Pels are also one of the worst defensive teams in the league though with 118.9 points allowed per game on average and I'm confident we'll see points come fast and easy for both teams in this contest. The Suns took a 120-116 loss at Sacramento a couple of nights ago and they're on a 10-2 run to the over following a straight up loss. Additionally, the over is 5-1 in the last 6 head-to-head meetings. 10* play on OVER. |
11-20-19 | Cavs v. Heat UNDER 214.5 | 100-124 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 53 m | Show
CAVS @ HEAT WEDNESDAY NIGHT TOTAL The Cleveland Cavaliers have averaged just 98.5 ppg through a four-game skid. Here they'll face one of the best defensive teams in the NBA in the Miami Heat who are holding opponents to 98.4 points per 100 possessions. With Cleveland near the bottom of the league for pace and Miami only marginally better, I think we have a solid case for a low-scoring game. Under is 5-1 in Cavaliers' last 6 overall. Under is 7-2 in Heat's last 9 overall. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-20-19 | Knicks v. 76ers UNDER 214.5 | Top | 104-109 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA TOTAL PLAY OF THE DAY The New York Knicks are one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA, and they're most likely in for a tough one against a Philadelphia team that is holding opponents to a solid 102.7 points per 100 possessions. The Knicks are also among the slowest teams in the league with just over 100 possesions per game while the Sixers rank in the middle of the pack for pace. The Knicks are coming off a 123-105 win over Cleveland on Monday. The under is 11-2-1 in their last 14 games playing on 1 days rest and 23-9-1 in their last 33 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Philly had put a 114-95 beating on that same Cleveland team the night before, and the under is 10-4 in its last 14 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-19-19 | Thunder v. Lakers UNDER 210.5 | Top | 107-112 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 56 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NBA): MIKE'S BEST NBA TOTAL FOR NOVEMBER The LA Lakers are tied for the best record in the league while having the very best point-differential, and arguably the biggest reason for their success is their play on the defensive end of the hardwood. The Lakers have the very best defensive efficiency in the NBA (even better than Utah!) and they've allowed an average of just over 97 ppg over their last three contests. The OKC Thunder have been held to fewer than 90 points in two of their last three games, including a 90-88 loss to the Clippers here at Staples Center Monday night. Under is 34-16-1 in Thunder last 51 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Under is 15-7 in Lakers last 22 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-18-19 | Hornets v. Raptors UNDER 215.5 | 96-132 | Loss | -101 | 11 h 11 m | Show
HORNETS @ RAPTORS MONDAY NIGHT TOTAL The Charlotte Hornets are 4-2 to the under over their last six games, and their very last matchup (at New York on Saturday) saw just a total of 205 points scored. Here they'll run into one of the strongest defenses in the league, and I think this looks primed to be a low-scoring affair. The Raptors are just coming back from a tough five-game road trip and ran out of gas in the second half of a loss at Dallas last time out so they're unlikely to drive up the tempo. Meanwhile, I don't see why Charlotte would want to turn this into anything but a slow game they might be able to steal. Under is 4-0 in Raptors last 4 Monday games. Under is 6-1 in Hornets last 7 Monday games. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-18-19 | Cavs v. Knicks UNDER 209 | 105-123 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 53 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL The New York Knicks have the worst offensive efficiency in the NBA while the Cleveland Cavaliers are only marginally better, and they've been held to 97 points or fewer in three straight games. The Knicks are 8-2 to the under in their last 10 games while the Cavs have seen each of their last five games go under the total. Scared of the low number? Don't be. Note that the over/under is 3-8 in Knicks games with a total under 218 points and 0-5 in the Cavs' five games with a total lower than 215 points. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-17-19 | Hawks v. Lakers UNDER 218 | Top | 101-122 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 46 m | Show |
TOP RATED HAWKS @ LAKERS NBA TOTAL PLAY OF THE DAY The LA Lakers have the best defensive efficiency in the league, allowing just 97.2 points per 100 possessions. Atlanta has one of the worst offensive efficiency ratings in the NBA and the Hawks will be playing on no rest after taking a 119-83 beating by the Clippers last night. I think we can safely assume that the Clippers will run away with this game early and then keep the Hawks at a distance.  Under is 15-6 in Lakers last 21 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Los Angeles. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-17-19 | 76ers v. Cavs UNDER 214.5 | 114-95 | Win | 100 | 14 h 7 m | Show
EARLY 76ERS @ CAVS NBA BANKROLL BUILDER Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Philadelphia 76ers rank in the bottom half of the league for pace with Cleveland just outside of the bottom five. The Cavs have played four straight unders and they've been held to 97 points in back-to-back games. Philly gave up 127 points in an OT loss at OKC last time out, but note that the under is 7-2 in the 76ers last 9 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. Additionally, the under is 6-2 in Cleveland games with a total lower than 218 points. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-16-19 | Blazers v. Spurs OVER 227 | Top | 121-116 | Win | 100 | 20 h 4 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL San Antonio Spurs have one of the worst marks in the league for defensive efficiency, and this looks like a trouble spot defensively as they'll be playing on no rest. The over is 15-5 in Spurs last 20 games playing on 0 days rest, and for all of Portland's struggles this season, putting the ball in the basket has rarely been an issue. The Blazers will be playing on two days rest and I think they'll drive up the tempo to take advantage of the home team's tired legs, forcing a high-paced shootout. 10* play on OVER. |
11-15-19 | Wizards v. Wolves OVER 238.5 | Top | 137-116 | Win | 100 | 16 h 3 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* FRIDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL The books have posted an extremely high total for this matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Washington Wizards Friday night, but do not let the high number intimidate you. Note that the over is 51-33-1 (60%) in games with a closing number of 235+ points since the start of last season, and while I would not recommend betting the over blindly in those spots moving forward, we have a strong case for this contest to fly over the posted total. Both teams rank in the top 10 for pace (Minnesota 4th, Washington 7th) and only Golden State has a worse defensive efficiency (the number of points a team allows per 100 possessions) than the Wizards. Additionally, both teams are averaging over 115 ppg, and that's against a mixed bucket of opponents, most with better defenses than we'll see here. Over is 6-1 in Timberwolves last 7 overall. Over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings. 10* play on OVER. |
11-14-19 | Hawks v. Suns OVER 226.5 | Top | 112-128 | Win | 100 | 16 h 15 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* THURSDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL The Atlanta Hawks won 125-121 at Denver on Tuesday and the over is 3-0 in their last three games. The Phoenix Suns took a 123-115 home loss to the Lakers last time out and the over is 4-0 in their last four games. Phoenix has among the best offensive efficiency (the number of points a team scores per 100 possessions) numbers in the league and they're also in the top third for pace. I'm confident they'll make the Hawks run in this one, forcing a fast-paced and high-scoring game. 10* play on OVER. |
11-11-19 | Jazz v. Warriors UNDER 213 | Top | 122-108 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 53 m | Show |
TOP RATED MONDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL Golden State has been atrocious on the defensive end of the hardwood in recent games, but the Utah Jazz just might come out flat offensively in this following back-to-back home wins over two NBA heavyweights in Philadelphia and Milwaukee. The Jazz have the best defensive efficiency in the league, and this edition of the Golden State Warriors lack the firepower to break them down. Under is 11-2-1 in Jazz last 14 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Under is 20-6-1 in Warriors last 27 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-10-19 | Raptors v. Lakers UNDER 215.5 | Top | 113-104 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 11 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED RAPTORS @ LAKERS TOTAL The LA Lakers rank top of the league in defensive efficiency giving up just 94.5 points per 100 possessions and the Toronto Raptors are in the top 10. The under is 12-5-1 in the Raptors last 18 road games and 7-2 in the Lakers last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Additionally, the under is 7-2 in the last 9 head-to-head meetings. The Raptors are shorthanded with All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry and backup big man Serge Ibaka out. I think they'll try and slow down the pace to make it hard for the Lakers to run away with the game, and the Lakers are not playing at a particularly high pace as it is. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-09-19 | Celtics v. Spurs OVER 216.5 | 135-115 | Win | 100 | 20 h 52 m | Show
CELTICS @ SPURS TOTAL The Boston Celtics held Charlotte to 87 points last time out, but here they'll face an opponent much more capable of putting the ball in the bucket. The Over is 7-1 in the San Antonio Spurs last eight home games and a perfect 2-0 in their games with a total lower than 217 points this season. Over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in San Antonio. Over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings overall. 8* play on OVER. |
11-08-19 | Grizzlies v. Magic UNDER 208.5 | 86-118 | Win | 100 | 7 h 2 m | Show
GRIZZLIES @ MAGIC FRIDAY NIGHT TOTAL The Orlando Magic are playing at the slowest pace in the NBA and they also have the worst offensive efficiency. The Memphis Grizzlies are playing at a much higher pace but their effective field goal percentage is among the worst in the league. Memphis is coming off a 137-point outing against Minnesota, but the under 10-4 in Grizzlies last 14 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game and 1-6-1 in Orlando's eight games on the season. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-07-19 | Celtics v. Hornets OVER 217.5 | Top | 108-87 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 48 m | Show |
CELTICS @ HORNETS TOP RATED TOTAL The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Indiana Pacers 122-120 in OT last time out to improve to 4-3 overall and 2-1 at home. They struggled big time on the defensive end in their first two home games though, and here they'll face a Boston Celtics side that is coming off a 119-113 win at Cleveland to make it four wins on the bounce. The Celtics have scored 116+ points in three of those wins and each of the last five games in this series has gone over the total. Over is 5-1-1 in Hornets last 7 home games and 13-5-1 in their last 19 games following a straight up win. 10* play on OVER. |
11-06-19 | 76ers v. Jazz UNDER 212 | Top | 104-106 | Win | 100 | 15 h 48 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* 76ERS @ JAZZ NBA PLAY OF THE DAY The Utah Jazz have opened the season with seven straight unders, and I think another relatively low-scoring affair is in the cards when they host the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday night. The Sixers will be looking to bounce back from a 114-109 loss at Phoenix Suns on Monday, and they're likely to be focusing on getting the defense right. "Obviously defensively, I thought they never really felt us in the second half," forward Tobias Harris told reporters after the setback. "They got too many easy looks, too many open looks. So, I thought that was probably the biggest adjustment." Overall on the season, Philly is still a top 10 team in defensive efficiency, a category the Jazz rank no. 1 for, but Utah is also one of the worst teams in the league in offensive efficiency.  Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings in Utah and 9-2 in the last 11 meetings overall. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-05-19 | Lakers v. Bulls UNDER 215.5 | Top | 118-112 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 39 m | Show |
LAKERS @ BULLS TUESDAY NIGHT *TOP PLAY* The LA Lakers have played locked down basketball lately holding opponents to an average of 96.8 ppg through a five-game winning streak, and that's despite one of the games going to OT. They lead the league in defensive efficiency (the number of points a team allows per 100 possessions) and here they'll face a Chicago team that has been held to fewer than 100 points in three of its last four games. Under is 26-10-1 in the Bulls last 37 home games vs. a team with a winning road record while the under is 14-5 in Lakers last 19 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and I think they'll limit the damage the 2-5 Bulls can do on offense. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-05-19 | Spurs v. Hawks OVER 218 | 100-108 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 30 m | Show
SPURS @ HAWKS TOTAL The Atlanta Hawks are coming off back-to-back 97-point outings against Miami, but I think they'll put a decent amount of points on the board in this one. This San Antonio Spurs team is not of the same mold as what we've seen in recent seasons as they're playing a much higher pace and with more points on both ends of the hardwood as a result. The Spurs rank top 10 for offensive efficiency and the over/under is 4-2 in their six games on the season. Additionally, both teams will be fairly well rested, particularly the Hawks as this will be their first game of the month. The over/under is 50-35-2 since the start of the 2017 season with one team playing on 3+ days of rest and the opponent has had at least one day between games. 8* play on OVER. |
11-04-19 | Bucks v. Wolves OVER 230 | 134-106 | Win | 100 | 15 h 38 m | Show
BUCKS @ WOLVES MONDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL Both the 4-2 Milwaukee Bucks and the 4-1 Minnesota Timberwolves are off to fast starts to the season thanks to good shooting with both sides averaging almost 120 ppg. Minnesota is coming off a 131-109 win over Washington but will have to do without its star center Karl-Anthony Towns who is suspended. Milwaukee superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo collected 36 points on 14-of-20 shooting, 15 rebounds, eight assists in a 115-105 win over Toronto last time out. The Greek Freak should have another big game with Towns not there to challenge him, and as for when the Wolves have the ball, expect them to move it up the floor quickly with only Houston averaging more possessions per game. Over is 12-3-1 in Bucks last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 9-4 in Timberwolves last 13 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. 8* play on OVER. |
11-03-19 | Jazz v. Clippers UNDER 213 | Top | 94-105 | Win | 100 | 14 h 17 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S JAZZ @ CLIPPERS TOTAL TOP PLAY The Utah Jazz have the best scoring defense in the NBA with only 94.0 ppg allowed per game while holding opponents to 42.1 percent shooting from the field. They're also one of the slowest teams with just 100.7 possessions per game and have yet to see any of their games go over the total this season. The Clippers have also stepped it up a notch on the defensive end in recent games and limited the Spurs to 97 points last time out. Under is 3-0 in their last three overall and 4-1 in Clippers last 5 home games. We saw just a total of 206 points when these two teams did battle at Utah earlier this week, and I think this will be another low-scoring affair. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-02-19 | 76ers v. Blazers UNDER 220 | Top | 129-128 | Loss | -109 | 19 h 1 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA PLAY OF THE DAY The Philadelphia 76ers have the fourth best scoring defense in the league and they have held opponents to 35.5 percent shooting from the field. The Portland Trail Blazers shot just 39.5 percent in a 102-99 win at OKC last time out, and while they generally shoot the ball much better home at Moda Center I don't see points coming easy in this one. Under is 3-1 in the Sixers four games on the season and 6-2 in their last 8 vs. teams from the Western Conference. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-02-19 | Wolves v. Wizards OVER 225.5 | 131-109 | Win | 100 | 17 h 0 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Washington Wizards have seen an average of 280+ points scored over their last two games, and I think we'll see another high-scoring affair when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves Saturday night. Minnesota has averaged a healthy 114.8 ppg on the season and it has played at the 6th highest pace in the league entering Saturday's slate of games.  Over is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings in Washington and 6-1 in the last 7 meetings overall. 8* play on OVER. |
11-02-19 | Raptors v. Bucks OVER 224 | 105-115 | Loss | -109 | 17 h 60 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK Two of the best teams in the East will battle it out Saturday as the Toronto Raptors visit the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee is just 2-2 on the season despite averaging 120.0 ppg overall and 127.5 ppg in two games at home. They put a 123-91 beating on the Magic at Orlando last night and they'll face a Raptors team off 125-113 win over Detroit. Both teams rank in the top 10 for offensive efficiency (the number of points a team scores per 100 possessions) and Milwaukee tops the league for effective field goal percentage. The over is 8-3 in Raptors last 11 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 14-6 in Bucks last 20 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. 8* play on OVER. |
11-01-19 | Spurs v. Warriors UNDER 223 | 127-110 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 10 m | Show
SPURS @ WARRIORS FRIDAY NIGHT TOTAL Scoring points could become an issue for the Golden State Warriors for the foreseeable future. With shooting guard Klay Thompson already out for what looks like the rest of the season, they'll now also have to do without star guard Stephen Curry who suffered a broken hand in Wednesday's 121-110 loss to Phoenix. The Spurs are coming off a 103-97 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night and unlikely to push the tempo, and this dinged up Warriors team is unlikely to be able to take advantage of eventual heavy legs the visitors might have Under is 15-6-1 in Spurs last 22 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400 and 7-2 in Warriors last 9 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. 8* play on UNDER. |
11-01-19 | Jazz v. Kings UNDER 214 | Top | 101-102 | Win | 100 | 20 h 10 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* JAZZ @ KINGS NBA PLAY OF THE DAY The Utah Jazz are limiting opponents to 40.8% shooting from the field on the season and have yet to allow more than 96 points in any of their games. As for the Sacramento Kings, they're averaging only 98.6 ppg and note that both these teams are in the bottom six in the NBA for offensive efficiency (the number of points a team scores per 100 possessions). Utah is as per usual one of the slowest teams in the league just barely breaking 100 possessions per game and the under is 5-0 in their first five games this season. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-01-19 | Pistons v. Bulls UNDER 216.5 | 106-112 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 42 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Detroit Pistons have struggled on the defensive end of the hardwood, but I just don't think the home team can take advantage with the Bulls coming into this contest on a three-game losing streak through which they've averaged 97.6 ppg. Detroit is likely to be without two starters in forward Blake Griffin (hamstring, knee) and guard Reggie Jackson (back), so it can hardly afford to make this a high-tempo game, particularly not with the Nets on deck tomorrow. Both teams are shooting under 40 percent from the field, so it stands to reason that we'll see a sluggish game with sloppy shooting. 8* play on UNDER. |
10-31-19 | Spurs v. Clippers OVER 225.5 | Top | 97-103 | Loss | -109 | 20 h 20 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* SPURS @ CLIPPERS TOTAL The LA Clippers will be playing on no rest following a loss at Utah last night. I think their heavy legs could become an issue on defense, something that Spurs coach Gregg Popovich will be smart enough to exploit by urging his team to push the ball tempo to get open shots. The Spurs have averaged 119 ppg while going a perfect 3-0 on the season and the Clippers have had no trouble scoring, entering this contest with a 121.5 ppg average despite being held to 96 points by the Jazz last night. Note that star forward Kawhi Leonard was rested yesterday, and he'll surely be up for putting points on the board against his former team. Additionally, we can note that both teams rank near the top of the league for offensive efficiency (the number of points a team scores per 100 possessions). Over is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings and the last head-to-head matchup here at Staples Center saw a total of 233 points scored. 10* play on OVER. |
10-31-19 | Heat v. Hawks UNDER 216 | 106-97 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show
HEAT @ HAWKS TOTAL The Miami Heat beat the Atlanta Hawks 112-97 with a total closing at 223 just a couple of days ago. The books have adjusted the total plenty for the second leg of this home-and-home set, but I still think it's set too high. The Hawks will have to do without Eastern Conference Player of the Week Trae Young (34 points and nine assists average on the season), a tough break for a team that has averaged just 105 ppg. The Heat have pushed the tempo in most of their games, but I don't think the Hawks will allow the Miami to dictate the pace in their own building. 8* play on UNDER. |
10-30-19 | Bulls v. Cavs UNDER 216.5 | 111-117 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 59 m | Show
BULLS @ CAVS TOTAL The Chicago Bulls have played three straight unders since opening the season with a 251 point game at Charlotte. They've averaged only 91 ppg scored over their last two and I think another low-scoring contest is in the cards when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night. The Cavs took a 129-112 loss at Milwaukee last time out but had averaged fewer than 100 ppg through their first couple of games this season. Both teams rank in the bottom third in the league for pace and offensive efficiency (the number of points a team scores per 100 possessions). While neither team is capable of playing shut down defense, I still think we have a strong case for the under. 8* play on UNDER. |
10-29-19 | Mavs v. Nuggets UNDER 216 | Top | 109-106 | Win | 100 | 22 h 54 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED TUESDAY NIGHT TOTAL The Dallas Mavericks have averaged 121 ppg while splitting a couple of high-scoring affairs against New Orleans and Portland, but I think points will be harder to come by here at Denver Tuesday night with the home team looking to slow down the tempo. The Nuggets are 2-0 to the under on the season, scoring 108 points in both games with an average of only 103.5 ppg allowed (and that despite Friday's matchup at Phoenix going to overtime). They were just outside of the top 10 for defensive efficiency (the number of points a team allows per 100 possessions) last season and it looks like Denver will be hard to beat on the defensive end of the hardwood this season as well. Under is 4-1 in Nuggets last 5 games playing on 0 days rest and 16-5 in their last 21 home games. Under is 4-1 in Mavericks last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings at Pepsi Center. *Write up posted before the conclusion of Denver's matchup with the Kings at Sacramento Monday night. 10* play on UNDER. |
10-28-19 | Jazz v. Suns UNDER 217.5 | 96-95 | Win | 100 | 19 h 49 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK Both the Utah Jazz and the Phoenix Suns will play their third game in four nights (and fourth in six), but at least the Suns have the advantage of playing in their own building. The Suns are 2-1 SU (3-0 ATS) on the season and in the groove following a 130-122 upset against the Clippers. "It feels amazing, everybody chipped in," Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. told reporters. "We fought through adversity once again, but we're finding who we are and we're continuing to grow and that's the most beautiful thing about it." The Jazz took a nine-point loss at LA Lakers on Friday but bounced right back with a massive beatdown of the Kings the next day. Still, I think they're at risk of underestimating the Suns and I like the home team to keep this close. Additionally, we can note that the under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings overall and 7-2 in the last 9 meetings in Phoenix. 8* play on UNDER. |
10-25-19 | Blazers v. Kings UNDER 225.5 | 122-112 | Loss | -100 | 19 h 32 m | Show
3-PACK The Portland Trail Blazers took an 8-point loss to Denver in their season opener. C.J McCollum and Damian Lillard had an off-night and combined for just 15-for-39 shooting in the defeat, but I think they'll bounce back with a win here at Sacramento Friday night. The Kings didn't only suffer a setback to the woeful (or are they actually that bad?) Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, they also got Marvin Bagley III, De'Aaron Fox, and Buddy Hield banged up. The Blazers usually start their seasons strong and have a solid core of players. They're 17-8-2 ATS in their last 27 games following an ATS loss and should roll to a win here. Additionally, the under has hit in 12 of their last 18 meetings and I think that's a trend that will continue. 8* play on UNDER. |
06-13-19 | Raptors v. Warriors OVER 210.5 | Top | 114-110 | Win | 100 | 19 h 15 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): TOP RATED TOTAL *MAJOR WAGER ALERT* The Golden State Warriors managed to avoid elimination with a 106-105 win at Toronto on Monday, a contest that just about stayed under the total despite a high-scoring first-half. The series now shifts back to Oakland for Game 6, and I think this one will go over as we're seeing the lowest total so far in the series. The game will be the Warriors' last at Oracle Arena before moving to the Chase Center in San Francisco next season. Klay Thompson thinks the fans will be an important 6th man tonight, particularly with Kevin Durant out again after a brief comeback last time out. "I expect our fans to be the loudest they have ever been, especially in the name of Kevin and bringing his type of spirit he would bring to the fight and the competitiveness," Warriors guard Klay Thompson said Wednesday. "I know our fans will do that because we deserve it, but more importantly, Kevin does for what he gave this team, this organization. There wouldn't be banners if it wasn't for his presence." The Raptors outscored the Warriors 120-96 from three-point land in their three triumphs, while the Warriors owned a 99-57 advantage from behind the arc in their two victories. Considering what's at stake, expect both teams to be locked in and knock down plenty of three-pointers driving up the score. Over is 9-3 in Raptors last 12 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 9-4 in Warriors last 13 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings at Oracle Arena. 10* play on OVER. |
06-10-19 | Warriors v. Raptors OVER 212 | Top | 106-105 | Loss | -110 | 34 h 42 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NBA TOTAL) The Golden State Warriors are in desperation mode with their backs against the wall after a Game 4 loss at home to put them in a 3-1 hole in the series. The Warriors simply can not afford to lose another game, and as they are finding it very hard to stop the Raptors offense they're gonna have to focus on outscoring their opponent to stay alive. The Raptors are playing with a lot of confidence and have been shooting the ball well throughout the series. The Warriors, and Stephen Curry in particular need to bounce back from a tough outing as they scored just 92 points and turned the ball over 19 times in the most recent loss. Curry himself was just 2-for-9 from behind the arc, extremely unlikely to happen again. Over is 6-1-1 in Warriors last 8 road games. Over is 9-3 in Warriors last 12 NBA Championship games. Over is 9-2 in Raptors last 11 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings in Toronto. 10* play on OVER. |
06-07-19 | Raptors v. Warriors OVER 215 | Top | 105-92 | Loss | -106 | 13 h 2 m | Show |
GAME OF THE YEAR (NBA): MIKE'S BEST NBA PLAYOFFS TOTAL The Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors combined for 232 points in Game 3 of this series and over is now 9-2 in Warriors last 11 NBA Championship games. I think we'll see another high-scoring affair here Friday night. Sure, Warriors are expected to get Klay Thompson back which no doubt will help them defensively, but we should also keep in mind that Thompson was the Warriors' leading scorer in their Game 2 win with 25 points on 10-for-17 shooting. The Warriors are in desperate need of a win here to avoid heading to Toronto down 3-1 in the series, and they'll need to heat up offensively to keep pace with a Raptors team that has shot better than 50 percent from the field in its two wins in the series and shot 44.7 percent from beyond the arc last time out. "We haven't really had a good team shooting night, and I knew eventually at some point we were due for one," Toronto guard Danny Green said after Game 3. "We still have to do a better job defensively on that end of the floor to limit those guys better so we don't have to rely on our offense or our shooting to win games for us." Over is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings at Oracle Arena. Over is 13-3 in Raptors last 16 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on OVER. |
06-05-19 | Raptors v. Warriors OVER 212.5 | 123-109 | Win | 100 | 14 h 28 m | Show
MIDWEEK MADNESS 3-PACK The Toronto Raptors got a lot of production from their role players as they opened the series with a 118-109 triumph. Forward Pascal Siakam shot 14-for-17 en route to a team-high 32 points in that contest but managed just 12 points on 5-for-18 as Golden State showed what's what in Game 2 of the series when it stole homecourt advantage with a 109-104 triumph.  The Warriors trailed at half time, but managed to come back and pulled away in the second period, despite losing Klay Thompson and Kevin Looney on top of already missing Kevin Durant. Looney has been ruled out for the rest of the series while Thompson might be a go tonight. "... it will be a game-time decision. But I really want to be out there." Thompson told the media on Tuesday. The Warriors might be banged up, but they're still the two-time defending champions and have plenty of star power and experience with Steph Curry, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins. Count on Warriors to get the job done in a high-scoring affair. Over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings. Over is 8-1 in Raptors last 9 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 8-2 in Warriors last 10 NBA Championship games. 8* play on OVER. |
06-02-19 | Warriors v. Raptors OVER 213 | 109-104 | Push | 0 | 11 h 30 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Toronto Raptors claimed the opener of this series 118-109. The Warriors did a decent job containing Kawhi Leonard (23 points on 5-of-14 shooting), but instead, role players like Pascal Siakam (32 points) stepped up big time for the Raptors. I don't see that happen two games in a row though with Warriors Draymond Green on a mission. "I have to be more aggressive on the defensive side of the ball," Green said Friday. "I think aggressiveness starts with me and everybody else will follow that. If I'm on my heels, everyone else is on their heels. I think that was kind of the story of (Game 1). I started the game not as aggressive as I could be on that side of the ball and it showed in our team defense." The Warriors are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 2 days rest and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up loss. The Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 2 days rest. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 head-to-head meetings. Over is 7-1 in Raptors last 8 vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 5-1-1 in Warriors last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. I expect the Warriors to beat Toronto in a fast-paced shootout. 8* play on OVER. |

05-05-19 | Raptors v. 76ers UNDER 214.5 | Top | 101-96 | Win | 100 | 15 h 54 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): RAPTORS @ 76ERS GAME 4 TOTAL The first three games of this series have gone under the total, and I expect another relatively low-scoring affair here in Game 4 Sunday afternoon. The Toronto Raptors will be desperate for a win to regain homecourt advantage and, and they know what they have to improve. "I think the first adjustment, we're going to have to make it, I guess we're going to have to play all of them a lot harder," Raptors head coach Nick Nurse said. "We're going to have to play a hell of a lot more physical. I mean if we don't do that, the prettiest things we decided to do offensively aren't going to matter much." The Philadelphia 76ers won Game 3 116-95, but we can note that under is 8-2 in their last 10 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and 7-1 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Under is 8-1 in Raptors last 9 overall. 10* play on UNDER. |

05-02-19 | Raptors v. 76ers UNDER 217 | Top | 95-116 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* RAPTORS @ 76ERS GAME 3 BEST BET The Toronto Raptors and the Philadelphia 76ers enter Game 3 of this Eastern Conference semifinals series tied at 1-1. Both teams have combined decent defense with poor shooting through the first two games, and I expect more of the same tonight. Toronto won the first game of the series 108-95, but neither team managed to break 100 points in Game 2, a matchup Philly won despite shooting just 39.5% from the field (Toronto shot 36.7%). Under is 7-1 in Raptors last 8 overall. Under is 6-1 in 76ers last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. 10* play on UNDER. |
04-29-19 | 76ers v. Raptors UNDER 220.5 | 94-89 | Win | 100 | 20 h 5 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT 76ERS @ RAPTORS GAME 2 TOTAL The Toronto Raptors put a 108-95 beating on the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of this Eastern Conference semifinals, and I expect a similar result here in the second game. The Raptors have won five straight since losing their postseason opener to Orlando and are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. Furthermore, they're 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and the home team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings with Philadelphia. The 76ers have not won in Toronto since Nov. 10, 2012 ... They were completely unable to stop Kawhi Leonard in the first matchup up this series with the Toronto star putting up a career playoff-best 45 points on 16-of-23 shooting with 11 rebounds. "That was again, a big time performance at both ends," Raptors coach Nick Nurse said. "And I just like the force that he is playing with at both ends, but especially when he is getting the ball. He is pushing it up the floor, he is punching gaps with force, and he is determined to get to spaces." Toronto has held opponents to 92.5 points and 38.9% shooting from the field through its first six playoff games here in 2019. I expect another dominant defensive performance from the home team tonight. Under is 10-4 in 76ers last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Under is 6-1 in Raptors last 7 overall. 8* play on UNDER. |
04-19-19 | Blazers v. Thunder UNDER 222 | Top | 108-120 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 55 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* BLAZERS @ THUNDER BOOKIE BREAKER TOTAL The first two games of this series at Portland were both low-scoring affairs, and that's a trend I expect to continue here in Game 3 at Chesapeake Energy Arena Friday night. The Thunder really struggled to put points on the board and were held to sub-100 points in both contests. Under is 6-2 in Thunder last 8 vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 4-0 in their last four Conference Quarterfinals games. The Blazers averaged 118.2 ppg at home during the regular season but that number dropped significantly to 111.1 ppg on the road. Under is 6-2-1 in their last nine away from home and 6-2 in their last eight vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The Thunder need to win this game to avoid falling into an 0-3 hole. They're probably smart enough to realize they can't outscore Portland, and I expect the home team to come out and play lock-down defense and try and slow down the tempo. 10* play on UNDER. |
04-15-19 | Clippers v. Warriors UNDER 230.5 | Top | 135-131 | Loss | -109 | 25 h 2 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CLIPPERS @ WARRIORS BOOKIE BREAKER We have seen most games go under the total so far in the first round of the NBA playoffs, and that's a trend I like to continue here as the Golden State Warriors take on the LA Clippers in Game 2 of their playoffs series. The Warriors won the first matchup 121-105, and in that neighbourhood is where I think the final score for this contest will land as well. The Clippers have averaged a healthy 115.0 ppg on the season, but they match up poorly offensively against Golden State and have averaged just 97.3 ppg through the last three head-to-head meetings (all three went under the total). Under is 6-2 in Clippers last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Under is 19-7 in Warriors last 26 overall. 10* play on UNDER. |
04-14-19 | Thunder v. Blazers OVER 225 | Top | 99-104 | Loss | -108 | 15 h 5 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (TOTAL): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL The Portland Trail Blazers closed out the regular season with a 136-131 win over Sacramento. Here they'll face an OKC Thunder team that kept the scorekeepers busy during their five-game winning streak down the stretch. The Thunder put a 127-116 beating on Milwaukee in the regular season finale, and playoffs or not, I expect both teams to let offense rule this game. Particularly Portland is likely to struggle to stop OKC in the paint on the defensive end with big man Jusuf Nurkic out for the season. We can also note that three of four regular season meetings between these two teams surpassed the posted total for this contest. 10* play on OVER. |
04-07-19 | Nuggets v. Blazers OVER 217 | Top | 108-115 | Win | 100 | 18 h 17 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL The Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 119-110 home at Pepsi Center Friday night. Each of the last three meetings in the series have gone over the total, and I predict another relatively high-scoring affair here at Moda Center Sunday night. The Blazers have been held to fewer than 110 points in just one of their last nine games, a 99-90 loss at Detroit on March 30 which was their second game of a back-to-back situation. Over is 19-5-2 in Trail Blazers last 26 games playing on one day of rest and 13-2-1 in their last 16 home games. The Nuggets have been involved in somewhat low-scoring affairs lately with only two of their last seven going over the total. However, with both teams playoff position still to be decided I expect to see a wide open affair and both teams trying to outscore the other rather than winning with good defense. 10* play on OVER. |
03-25-19 | Suns v. Jazz UNDER 217.5 | Top | 92-125 | Win | 100 | 13 h 47 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER TOTAL The Phoenix Suns have topped 103 points in only one of their last six games, an OT win at New Orleans. The under is 8-2 in their last 10 games and here they'll face a Utah team that is allowing just 106.2 ppg on the season and held the Bulls to 83 points on 35.9% shooting (including 2-of-16 from 3-point range) last time out. "I liked how we started the game. I thought we were focused on the defensive end," Utah coach Quin Snyder told the team website. "I just want us to keep getting better." Under is 6-2 in Utah's last eight games overall and 7-1 in its last eight vs. Western Conference foes. The Jazz have a playoff spot locked in but are in a tight race for the No. 5 (and possibly No. 4) seed in the West. Under is 23-9 in the last 32 meetings with the Sun who they've beaten twice this season, winning 116-88 on Feb. 6 and 114-97 on March 13. I think this will be another relatively low-scoring affair. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-24-19 | Nuggets v. Pacers UNDER 211.5 | Top | 88-124 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 31 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER TOTAL The Denver Nuggets travel to Indiana riding a six-game winning streak. They've held opponents to an average of 102 ppg during that run and held the Knicks to 37.8 percent shooting from the field last time out. Under is 18-5 in Nuggets last 23 overall, and here they'll visit a Pacers team that has averaged only 99 ppg through a four-game losing streak. Indiana was held to 38.5% shooting from the field in a 112-89 loss at Golden State last time out. Under is 8-1 in Pacers last nine overall and 20-6 in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Both teams are involved in tight battles for home-court advantage in their respective conferences, and I think we'll see a competitive, low-scoring game with a postseason feeling to it here at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-22-19 | Spurs v. Rockets UNDER 220.5 | Top | 105-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 43 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL Both teams have been involved in relatively low-scoring contests lately with under is 9-2 in Spurs last 11 overall and 8-2 in Rockets last 10 overall. This contest is important for both teams as San Antonio is in a dogfight with the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder for the No. 5 seed in the West, so it will most certainly be motivated to bounce back from a 110-105 loss to Miami. The Spurs had won nine in a row prior to that setback and have produced a 104.1 defensive rating over the past 10 games. "Defense -- and understanding that's what's going to take us to get to the next level and beyond," Mills said in explaining the Spurs' recent run. The Rockets are fighting to hold off Portland for the No. 3 seed in the conference and will also be looking to bounce back from a defeat after taking a 126-125 OT loss at Memphis last time out. They had won eight of nine prior to that setback while never allowing more than 106 points. We can also note that under is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall and 12-3 in the last 15 meetings in Houston. The Rockets won the last meeting 108-101 with a total closing at 217.5 points, and I think this game will stay under the total as well. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-20-19 | Rockets v. Grizzlies OVER 215.5 | 125-126 | Win | 100 | 7 h 14 m | Show
WEDNESDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL The Memphis Grizzlies have struggled on the defensive end lately, giving up 130+ points in back-to-back losses at Atlanta and Washington. Four of their last five have gone over the total, and here they'll face an offensive powerhouse in the Houston Rockets who have averaged 119 points through their last two games. The Rockets are coming off a 121-105 win over Atlanta Tuesday night and over is 6-2 in their last eight games playing on zero days rest. All-Star guard James Harden has scored at least 20 points in 13 straight games and contributed 31 points and 10 assists against the Hawks while veteran point guard Chris Paul recorded his second consecutive double-double with 13 points and 11 assists. 8* play on OVER. |
03-19-19 | Warriors v. Wolves UNDER 229 | 117-107 | Win | 100 | 10 h 41 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL Ten of the Golden State Warriors last 11 games have gone under the total. They will have plenty of reason to slow down the tempo here as well in the second game of a back-to-back situation following a 111-105 loss at San Antonio last night. They'll face a Minnesota team with nothing to play for and the Wolves have averaged just 103 ppg through their last four games. Point guards Derrick Rose (elbow) and Jeff Teague (foot) have missed the last three games, and Teague has already been ruled out for this contest while Rose is listed as doubtful. Under is 24-8 in the last 32 meetings between these two teams, and I expect to see a relatively low-scoring affair. 8* play on UNDER. |
03-18-19 | Warriors v. Spurs UNDER 224 | Top | 105-111 | Win | 100 | 14 h 36 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA TOTAL The Golden State Warriors fell to Phoenix Suns on March 10 but have bounced back with a pair of wins at Houston and Oklahoma City Thunder while allowing an average of just 96 ppg. "I think the loss to Phoenix opened our eyes a little bit," Golden State coach Steve Kerr told reporters. "And I think our guys just felt threatened on the road. We've played two great teams, we've got another one, maybe the hottest team in the league in San Antonio coming up, so anytime they're threatened, I think our guys tend to play better." Under is 9-1 in the Warriors last 10. and here they'll face a San Antonio team that has won eight straight games and held all but one of those opponents (Milwaukee) to fewer than 105 points. The Spurs lead the league in scoring defense during their winning streak, allowing just 99.8 points per 100 possessions. The Warriors put a 141-102 beating on San Antonio last month, but you better believe Spurs coach Gregg Popovich will have his team better prepared defensively for this one. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-16-19 | Warriors v. Thunder UNDER 231 | 110-88 | Win | 100 | 9 h 8 m | Show
SATURDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL Both the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder have played mostly low-scoring games in recent weeks with the under 8-1 in the Warriors' last nine overall and 8-2 in OKC's last 10 overall. We can also note that Warriors' superstar forward Kevin Durant missed Wednesday's matchup at Houston with an ankle injury and is questionable for this contest. The first two meetings of the season have seen an average of only 213 points and under is 9-1 the last 10 meetings in the series. This total looks way too inflated to pass up on.  8* play on UNDER. |
03-14-19 | Thunder v. Pacers UNDER 220.5 | Top | 106-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED 10* TOTAL The Indiana Pacers should be farily well rested here following 103-98 win over New York at home Tuesday night. They've struggled to put points on the board of late though, averaging only 98.8 ppg through their last four but have limited opponents to a league-best 103.9 ppg on the season. Under is 24-11 in Pacers' games home at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. They enter this contest off four straight unders and under is 16-5 in Pacers' games after three or more consecutive unders this season. The OKC Thunder will be playing on no rest after defeating the Nets last night. They have failed to cover the spread in each of their last three playing on zero days rest while Indiana is 4-0 in its last four against opponents playing on back-to-back nights. Under is 13-3 in OKC's games as underdogs this season and 19-10 when playing against a team with a winning record. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-13-19 | Warriors v. Rockets UNDER 230.5 | 106-104 | Win | 100 | 9 h 49 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Golden State Warriors took a 115-111 home loss to the West-worst Suns on Sunday. That can't sit right with the two-time defending champions who had impressed in a 17-point win over Denver just a couple days earlier. I expect a solid outing from the Warriors tonight. "Frustrated," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said describing his team. "Frustrated with our play, with ourselves, just our approach. So, we all feel it. I think the Denver game was a better indicator of what we're capable of, and then to so quickly get off track one game later, that's very frustrating and that's something we've got to correct. We've got to build some momentum; we've got to build better habits. We've got to stay connected emotionally, and it's the only way it can work." Here the Warriors will be playing on two days rest and facing a Houston Rockets team that will be playing its third game in four nights and is in a letdown spot after winning nine in a row. The run that started with a win in Oakland on Feb 23, but this is a good spot to back the Warriors to avenge that loss. Additionally we can note that under is 7-1 in Warriors last eight vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 20-8 in Rockets last 28 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 8* play on UNDER. |
03-13-19 | Grizzlies v. Hawks UNDER 221 | 111-132 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 19 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Memphis Grizzlies turned over a lot of their roster at the trade deadline, but that have only had a positive effect so far. They enter this contest as winners of four of their last five (5-0 ATS), with the lone SU loss as a 10-point underdog at Oklahoma City. Here the Grizzlies will be playing on two days rest since a 105-97 win over Orlando on Sunday and are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games playing on two days rest. The Atlanta Hawks will also play on two days rest after snapping a three-game losing streak with a 128-116 win over New Orleans on Sunday. They're 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points though, and note that the Hawks are playing with some minute restrictions for key players late in the season. Atlanta is often involved in high-scoring games but under is 5-1 in the last six meetings with Memphis. With both teams well rested I expect to see aggressive defense from both sides, and that will fit Memphis and its superior defense just fine. Take Grizzlies to win a relatively low-scoring game. 8* play on UNDER. |
03-10-19 | Suns v. Warriors UNDER 235 | Top | 115-111 | Win | 100 | 14 h 27 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* SUNDAY NIGHT NBA TOTAL The Phoenix Suns will head to Oakland with their heads held high as they had won three on the bounce before taking a 127-120 loss at Portland on Saturday. Under is 8-4 in Phoenix games with total of 230+ points this season and I think we'll see a relatively low-scoring affair as they visit the Golden State Warriors Sunday night. The Suns had allowed just 103.3 ppg during their winning streak and limited the Milwaukee Bucks to 105 points Monday night. Here they'll face a Golden State Warriors team that is coming off a 122-105 win over Denver to make it six unders through their last seven games. The Warriors have not played particularly well of late and will most likely not do much more than needed to get the W here. Golden State claimed the first meeting of the season 117-107 about a month ago and has won 18 straight meetings in the series. The Warriors have outscored Phoenix by an average of 16.4 points during that stretch, and I think we'll see Golden State run up the score early and then slow down the tempo in the 4th quarter. Who will cover is tough to say as the Suns might get the backdoor cover, but I'm confident this game will stay under the total. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-08-19 | Nuggets v. Warriors UNDER 233.5 | Top | 105-122 | Win | 100 | 19 h 30 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL The Golden State Warriors are in need of a solid defensive outing following a 128-95 blowout loss to Boston Tuesday night. Only one of their last six games have gone over the total total and under is 8-2 in Warriors last 10 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. Tonight they'll face Denver team that seen each of its last seven games go under the total. Both the Nuggets and the Warriors are obviously very capable of putting up good numbers, but neither side is playing particularly well at the moment. I expect to see a tight playoff-like affair as they jostle for the top spot in the conference and home-court advantage throughout the Western playoffs. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-05-19 | Celtics v. Warriors UNDER 230.5 | 128-95 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show
CELTICS @ WARRIORS MIDNIGHT MADNESS The Golden State Warriors are coming off a high-scoring 120-117 win at Philadelphia Saturday night, but that game still went under an extremely bloated total which closed at 238 points. The total for this contest is not quite as inflated, but I see many trends supporting the under here. Under is 6-0 in both the Celtics and the Warriors last six vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The Celtics have averaged only 102 ppg through a 1-5 slide and under is 8-1 in their last nine road games. Under is 6-0 in the last six meetings in this series. 8* play on UNDER. |
03-03-19 | Raptors v. Pistons UNDER 219.5 | Top | 107-112 | Win | 100 | 18 h 44 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED EASTERN CONF TOTAL This will be the 2nd leg of a back-to-back set for the Detroit Pistons, but they didn't have to spend too much energy in a comfortable 129-93 win over the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday afternoon. Under is 25-8-1 in their last 34 games playing on zero days rest and the Pistons should have plenty of gas left in the tank to play good defense in this matchup with the Toronto Raptors. "We played as well as we expected," Detroit coach Dwane Casey said. "I wouldn't put anything into the amount of points or the point differential. I promise it's not going to be that type of game tomorrow." Toronto is coming off a high-scoring 119-117 triumph over Portland Friday night, but they had played two straight unders prior to that and under is 7-2 in their last nine vs. Eastern Conference foes. The Pistons defeated the Raptors 106-104 in Toronto on Nov. 14 and under is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in the series. 10* play on UNDER. |
03-03-19 | Blazers v. Hornets OVER 225.5 | 118-108 | Win | 100 | 1 h 29 m | Show
SUPER EARLY BLAZERS @ HORNETS TOTAL The Portland Trail Blazers took a 119-117 loss at Toronto on Friday and over is 3-1 in their last four games. The Charlotte Hornets recorded a 123-112 win at Brooklyn the same night and five of their last six games have gone over the total. Additionally, over is 11-1-1 in Trail Blazers last 13 games playing on one days rest and 13-3-1 in their last 17 vs. opponents from the Eastern Conference. 8* play on OVER. |
03-02-19 | Nets v. Heat OVER 220.5 | 88-117 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 29 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Brooklyn Nets are coming off back-to-back home losses, the most recent a 123-112 setback to Charlotte Friday night. They're 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games playing on zero days rest and 1-5 ATS in their last six games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. The Miami Heat have dropped four of their last five but put up a good fight in a 121-118 loss at Houston on Thursday. They really need a win here, entering Saturday 1 1/2 games out of a playoff spot. I think the rest advantage, as slim as it is, and desperation will be the deciding factor for the home team. In addition, I also think we have good angles supporting the over. The Nets have allowed an average of 124 points through their last two games and over is 7-2 in their last nine overall. The Heat have allowed an average of 122.3 points through their last four games with each going over the total. 8* play on OVER. |
02-28-19 | Warriors v. Magic UNDER 227 | 96-103 | Win | 100 | 7 h 13 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY This looks like too many points for the Golden State Warriors to cover. They're 1-7 ATS through their last eight games overall will be playing on no rest here following a 126-125 loss at Miami last night. Warriors are 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 Thursday night games. The Magic have won eight of their last 11 contests overall and are 6-2 ATS L8 despite a lackluster outing last time out, a five-point loss at New York. It's very likely the Magic looked past the lowly Knicks though, and I have no doubt they'll be fired up for this matchup with the reigning champions. Golden State has won 11 straight vs. Orlando but won by just six home in Oakland back in November. Bank on the host to keep it close at Amway Center Thursday night. I also think we have good angles to back the under here: Under is 17-7-1 in Warriors last 25 games following a straight up loss and 7-2 in their last nine games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. Under is 10-2 in Magic's last 12 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. 8* play on UNDER. |
02-22-19 | Nuggets v. Mavs UNDER 219.5 | Top | 114-104 | Win | 100 | 13 h 20 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL The Nuggets won the first meeting of the season 126-118 home at Pepsi Center, but I think we'll see far fewer points on the board here in the rematch at Dallas Friday night. Under is 15-5-1 in the Mavs last 21 overall and they' allowed just 106.3 ppg home at American Airlines Center. Denver meanwhile is playing just .500 basketball on the road, and one reason is a big drop in points scored compared to home, 107.7 ppg vs. 112.0 ppg). Also keep in mind that this is both teams first game back from the All Star break, so rust and sloppy shooting can be expected. 10* play on UNDER. |
02-08-19 | Warriors v. Suns OVER 231 | 117-107 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 38 m | Show
TGIF NBA TOTAL The Golden State Warriors are in the zone right now and put a 141-102 beating on the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Over is 12-4 in Warriors last 16 vs. a team with a losing straight up record and here they'll face a Phoenix team thad has lost 12t straight games but had put up 110 points or more in each of their last three prior to an 116-88 loss at Utah last time out. Over is 6-2 in Suns last eight vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The Warriors routed Phoenix 132-109 here at Talking Stick Resort Arena on New Year's Eve and I see no reason why we shouldn't see another high-scoring (albeit one-sided) contest in the desert. 8* play on OVER. |
02-07-19 | Spurs v. Blazers OVER 227 | Top | 118-127 | Win | 100 | 17 h 29 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA) The San Antonio Spurs took a 141-102 beating at Golden State last night and have allowed 124 points or more in three of their last five games. Over is 13-3 in Spurs last 16 games playing on no rest and I think we'll see points come fast and easy for both teams here at Moda Center Thursday night. Spurs rested All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge and shooting guard DeMar DeRozan last night but the duo is expected to be back here to take on a Portland team that had scored 120 points or more in three straight games prior to a 118-109 setback to Miami last time out. Over is 6-0-1 in Trail Blazers last seven home games and 12-4 in the last 16 meetings with the Spurs in Portland. 10* play on OVER. |
02-06-19 | Wizards v. Bucks OVER 230 | 129-148 | Win | 100 | 14 h 44 m | Show
NBA MIDWEEK MADNESS TOTAL The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Wizards 131-115 at Washington on Saturday night, and I think we'll see another high-scoring affair when they clash at Fiserv Forum in the rematch just four days later. Washington has lost four of five and allowed 130 points or more in three of those games, including a 137-129 setback to the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Over is 17-7 in Wizards matchups against teams with a winning record on the season and 26-17against teams that have allowed 106+ points/game on average. Milwaukee is the second highest scoring team in the NBA with 117.2 ppg and should have little trouble to get easy buckets against Wizards team that has allowed an average of 118.0 ppg on the road. 8* play on OVER. |

01-29-19 | Wizards v. Cavs UNDER 219 | 113-116 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 13 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT WIZARDS @ CAVS TOTAL The Washington Wizards are 3-2 through their last five games, with high-scoring losses to Spurs and Warriors and low-scoring wins against New York, Detroit and Orlando while limiting them to an average of 92.7 ppg. They've been able to shut down lesser teams lately and under is 10-4 in Wizards last 14 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Tonight's opponent sure fit that criteria with the Cavs 10-41 SU on the season. Cleveland has averaged just 98.2 ppg through its last five games and under is 12-5 in its last 17 vs. a team with a losing straight up record, which the Wizards still have checking in at 21-28 despite starting to pick up wins of late. 8* play on UNDER. |

01-29-19 | Bucks v. Pistons UNDER 219 | 115-105 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 8 m | Show
3-GAME HIGH ROLLER REPORT The Milwaukee Bucks have lost just 13 games all season, one of them last time out when they dropped a 118-112 decision to the OKC Thunder on Sunday. They have yet to lose back-to-back games on the season and are a solid 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games following a straight up loss. I fully expect the Bucks to bounce back in a big way against a Pistons team that has been held to 101 points or fewer in each game during a 1-3 stretch and is just 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The Pistons have had plenty of time to recover since their 106-101 loss at Dallas on Friday, but they're 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on three or more days rest while the Bucks are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games playing on one days rest. Under is 22-8-2 in Pistons last 32 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 10-3 in Bucks last 13 road games. The Bucks' D will win them this game. 8* play on UNDER. |

01-27-19 | Raptors v. Mavs UNDER 220 | Top | 123-120 | Loss | -115 | 13 h 45 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NBA): MIKE'S TOP RATED BEST TOTAL BET The Toronto Raptors took a high-scoring loss at Houston Friday night, but each of their last four games prior to that had gone under the total. Here they'll face Dallas Mavericks team that has won back-to-back games despite scoring just 106 points in both, and under is 5-0 in the Mavs last five overall. Ten of Dallas' 12 games overall here in January have gone under and under is a PERFECT 8-0 in its last eight vs. teams from the East. 10* play on UNDER. |

01-22-19 | Wolves v. Suns OVER 228 | 118-91 | Loss | -101 | 12 h 14 m | Show
LATE NIGHT WOLVES @ SUNS TOTAL Neither the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Phoenix Suns are known for their great defending, and I think this encounter will fly over the total rather easily. The Wolves are allowing 116.3 ppg on the road this season and have surrendered an average of 126.3 ppg through their last three overall. The Suns meanwhile have alloed an average of 123.3 ppg through a four-game slide but have had no trouble putting points on the board. The Wolves won the first meeting of this home-and-home set 116-114 at Minnesota on Sunday. Over is 8-0 in Timberwolves last eight road games, 14-3 in their last 17 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and also 14-3 in their last 17 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. 8* play on OVER. |

01-18-19 | Heat v. Pistons UNDER 208 | 93-98 | Win | 100 | 10 h 43 m | Show
FRIDAY NIGHT NBA HIGH ROLLER REPORT (3 PICKS) The Miami Heat took a 124-86 beating at Milwaukee last time out, but they've had two days of rest since and I think they'll bounce back with a solid performance here at Detroit Friday night. The Heat are 5-1 ATS when playing with two days rest this season and will face a Pistons side that's likely to come out flat after defeating Orlando Magic 120-115 in overtime on Wednesday. Pistons are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games following a straight up win and 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 games playing on one days rest. Heat are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and 13-6 ATS as an underdog on the season. Under is 4-1 in Miami's last five road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 15-6-1 in Pistons' last 22 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. 8* play on UNDER. |

01-17-19 | Lakers v. Thunder UNDER 226.5 | 138-128 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 6 m | Show
LATE NIGHT LAKERS @ THUNDER TOTAL The Oklahoma City Thunder took a 142-126 beating by the lowly Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. They're 6-0 ATS in their last six games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game and I like the Thunder to bounce back with a solid outing against the LA Lakers here on Thursday. The Lakers will be without LeBron James for a 12th consecutive game and had been held to 95 points in back-to-back losses to Utah and Cleveland before ending the skid with a 107-100 triumph over Chicago last time out. They're 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up win and have played six straight unders. "Unfortunately as of late, we haven't been scoring, but our defense has been pretty steady for the most part," Ball said. "And that's what we try to lean on." I think the visitors will struggle to put points on the board against an OKC team that knows it has to do better than it has in recent contest. "These are the games that we've got to be ready for -- the ones where we're supposed to come in and roll them over. Those are the teams that we've got to come out and match the energy they give us." Oklahoma City's Paul George said after the loss to the Hawks. The Home team is 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings and under is 6-0 in the last six meetings in Oklahoma City. I expect OKC to win and cover the spread in a relatively low-scoring game. 8* play on UNDER. |

01-10-19 | Celtics v. Heat OVER 211.5 | 99-115 | Win | 100 | 9 h 46 m | Show
3-GAME HIGH ROLLER REPORT The Boston Celtics have averaged 120 ppg through a four-game winning streak and scored a season-high 135 points in last night's rout of Indiana. Here the Celtics will face a Miami team that has failed to reach 100 points in either of its last two games, but note that the Heat had posted an average of 112.2 ppg through six games prior to their slump. The Celtics shot 56.8 percent from the field last night and I think the efficiency will carry over to this contest. Miami meanwhile should be able to score some easy buckets late in the game as the visitors defense gets worn down due to fatigue. Over is 8-3 in Celtics last 11 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game and 4-1 in their last five games playing on no rest. 8* play on OVER. |
