09-24-20 | Astros v. Rangers +1.5 | 12-4 | Loss | -150 | 11 h 10 m | Show
Take Texas on the RUN LINE. Yes, I am well aware of the fact that Houston is fighting for a playoff spot, while Texas is out of the postseason race. No worries, there is a method to my madness. Lance Lynn is scheduled to take the mound at home here. The RH is having the best campaign of his nine year career, at 6-2 with a 2.53 ERA, striking out 84 batters in 78.1 IP. The savvy veteran is eager to avenge his worst outing of 2020, an early-September loss to the Astros, giving up twice as many earned runs (six) as he has in any of his other 11 starts this season. Â Houston is not the same team they were in 2019, losing strength both on the mound and at the plate. The Astros are 1-5 the last six games played as a road favorite, 1-7 the last eight road games played vs. RH starters, and 6-22 overall the last 28 road games. Â Five of the last seven outings in this rivalry has been decided by just one run. Take the run and a half with the Rangers on the run line as long as Lynn takes the hill. Take the Rangers on the run line. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-18-20 | Yankees -185 v. Red Sox | 6-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show
Take New York. This is my AL EAST GOW. Game 965. 4:30 pm pst. With eight consecutive wins, the hottest team in baseball is the New York Yankees. Now, they start a series with the Boston Red Sox, a team they have beaten in all seven meetings in 2020, outscoring them 50-23. The Bronx Bombers are back with a lineup that is crushing the ball. The Yankees are 4-1 L5 at the Red Sox and 21-5 L26 overall vs. the Red Sox. take New York. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-16-20 | Rangers v. Astros -1.5 | 1-0 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 39 m | Show
Take Houston on the RL. This is my WWW. 5:10 pm pst. Houston is in a dogfight right now and need every win they can get. they have taken three of four meetings with Texas in 2020, including the last three in a row. They are averaging more than a full run per game than the rangers. Texas is 1-12 the last 13 in Houston and 3-14 the L17 overall vs. Houston. Take the Astros on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-15-20 | Indians v. Cubs -148 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 43 m | Show
Take Chicago. This is my IL GOW. 5:15 pm pst. Cleveland has dropped six straight and their pitching staff has gotten shelled for over 6.66 RPG during the slide. RH Carrasco (3-4, 3.12) goes up against RH Darvish (7-2, 1.77). the Cubs have taken both 2020 meetings with the Indians. Cleveland is 4-17 L21 as an underdog, 2-5 the L7 on the road, and 2-5 the L7 during Game 1 of a series. Chicago is 21-8 the L29 IL home games, 7-3 the L10 following an off day, and 19-7 the L26 during Game 1 of a series. Take the Cubs. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-11-20 | Orioles +1.5 v. Yankees | 0-6 | Loss | -104 | 5 h 17 m | Show
Take Baltimore on the RUN LINE. This is my LIM. Game 903. 4:05 pm pst. Baltimore, which has won seven of their last 10, has also taken four straight over New York, outscoring the Yankees, 22-6. New York is struggling, dropping eight of their last 10. The offense is sputtering. Take the run and a half with the Orioles here. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-10-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 2-5 | Loss | -140 | 11 h 11 m | Show
Take Los Angeles on the Run Line. This is my GRAND SLAM PLAY. Game 969. 3:40 pm pst. May and Bumgarner have been scheduled here. In eight starts in 2020, Dustin May is 1-1 with a 2.88 ERA. "Big Red" has not allowed more than two earned runs in any outing this season. The RH will completely shut down the sputtering Arizona lineup which has mustered a mere, 3.00 RPG in their eight10 losses over their last 11 contests. Madison Bumgarner is a far cry from the pitcher he was several seasons ago. The "Mad-Bum" is living up to his nickname in more ways than one, as he hasn't had a winning season since 2016. The LH is 0-4 in five starts with a colossal ERA of 8.44. Â The Dodgers are a monstrous team, ranking third in scoring and second in Team Era. They are a tough enough mountain to climb for any opponent, especially for a team that ranks in the bottom third in both areas. LA is 7-0 the last seven meetings in this series, 6-1 the last seven vs. LH starters, and 36-15 the last 51 on the road. Take the Dodgers on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-10-20 | Red Sox v. Rays -1.5 | 4-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 17 m | Show
Take Tampa Bay on the Run Line. This is my HOME RUN PLAY. Game 962. 3:40 pm pst. Boston threw in the towel on the 2020 season a few weeks ago when they traded away some big names. It will help their farm system down the road, but as far as this season is concerned, put a fork in this team. Tampa Bay owns the best record in the AL at 28-15. They have taken five of the six meetings in this division rivalry this season (only one victory being decided by one run), including the last four consecutive matchups. The Red Sox are outclassed both on the mound and at the plate. They own the worst pitching staff in baseball and just can't seem to score runs with any consistency. The Rays bring in a top-10 team both on the rubber and in the batters box. Fleming (3-0, 3.52 ERA in 2020), who has won all three of his starts this season will have the luxury of some run support. The Red Sox are 8-21 the last 29 meetings in this series, 5-16 the last 21 vs. LH starters, and 0-4 the last four during Game 1 of a series. Take the Rays on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-08-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 10-9 | Loss | -154 | 8 h 27 m | Show
Take Los Angeles. This is my NL WEST BEST BET play. Game 977. 6:401 pm pst. Los Angeles has taken five in a row and six of the last seven meetings with Arizona in 2020. Buehler (1-0, 3.60 ERA) and Weaver (1-6, 7.44 ERA) are scheduled. The Dodgers rank first in scoring and second in Team ERA. This doesn't bode well for a Diamondbacks team that ranks in the bottom third in both area. Take Los Angeles on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-08-20 | White Sox -130 v. Pirates | 4-5 | Loss | -130 | 6 h 47 m | Show
Take Chicago. This is my CASH MONEY PLAY. Game 959. 4:05 pm pst. Chicago took both 2020 meetings with Pittsburgh, crushing them by a combined, 14-3. They come a four-game sweep of Kansas City to own one of the AL's best records at 26-15. They outclass the Pirates both on the mound and in the batters box. The White Sox are 6-0 the last six during Game 1 of a series, 4-0 the last four on the road, and 5-1 the last six in IL play. Take Chicago. Thank you. Â |
|||||||
09-08-20 | Royals v. Indians -1.5 | 8-6 | Loss | -108 | 5 h 2 m | Show
Take Cleveland on the RUN LINE. This is my AL CENTRAL BEST BET play. Game 954. 3:10 pm pst. Cleveland has taken five of seven this season over Kansas City. The Indians (won last three and seven of last 10) come in here with the very impressive, Triston McKenzie 2-0, 1.69 ERA in 2020). Meanwhile, the Royals which are on a seven-game slide, have Jakob Junis (0-1, 4.32) on the hill. The only thing worse than the KC 19th ranked pitching staff is their 29th ranked offense. The Royals are 0-6 the last six vs. RH starters and 3-13 the last 16 vs. the AL Central. take the Indians on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-07-20 | Rays +111 v. Nationals | 1-6 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 16 m | Show
Take Tampa Bay. This is my INTERLEAGUE BEST BET. Game 911. 3:00 pm pst. Tampa Bay has a commanding, 5.5 game lead in the AL East and both a top-10 offense and pitching staff. Outside of his first start back in July, Charlie Morton has pitched very well. Max Scherzer has erratic. He also hasn't gotten run support. And, the bullpen has been atrocious, ranking 27th, with a TEAM ERA of 5.35. The Rays are 14-2 the last 16 on the road, 5-1 the last six IL, and 19-7 the last 26 during Game 1 of a series. Take Tampa Bay. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-04-20 | Astros -113 v. Angels | 5-6 | Loss | -113 | 11 h 33 m | Show
Take Houston. This is my DOUBLE PLAY. Game 971. 6:10 pm pst. Yes, Lance McCullers ERA is a bit higher than usual, but the RH has had three strong outings in his last four starts. The Team is 5-2 in his starts in 2020. This is a team that has taken seven of the last nine meetings with LA. The Angels are 13-25, mainly because they can't seem to produce offensively at all. The Astros are 19-7 the last 26 at the Angels. Take Houston. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-04-20 | White Sox -159 v. Royals | 7-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 34 m | Show
Take Chicago. This is my CASH MONEY PLAY. Game 965. 5:05 pm pst. Chicago, which is only a half GB of Cleveland for the AL Central's top spot, has taken six of the seven meetings with Kansas City in 2020, averaging over 6.5 RPG in those six victories. Dunning makes his second start of the campaign and goes up against Singer (1-3, 5.19). The Royals have dropped three straight and seven of their last 10. They possess the league's 29th ranked offense, accounting for a mere, 3.89 RPG, almost a run and a half less than the White Sox (5.21 RPG). Chicago is 10-3 the last 13 vs. the AL Central and 12-4 the last 16 on the road. KC is 1-4 the last five vs. the AL Central and 1-5 the last six at home. Take the White Sox. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-04-20 | Blue Jays -117 v. Red Sox | 8-7 | Win | 100 | 6 h 44 m | Show
Take Toronto. This is my AL EAST BEST BET. Game 963. 1:10 pm pst. Toronto, which is now ties with New York for second place in the AL East at 20-16, is starting to heat up, winning six of their last eight outings. Boston continues to sink deeper into the abyss, riding a four-game slide, and dropping seven of their last 10 to take a true foothold of last place in the AL East at 12-26. As a matter of fact, the Red Sox own the AL's worst record. Roark (2-1) and Godley (0-3) get the starts today. The only thing worse than their erratic offense, is Boston's pitching, ranking 30th, with a Team ERA of 6.13. Take the Blue Jays. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-03-20 | Diamondbacks v. Dodgers -1.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 59 m | Show
Tale Los Angeles on the RUN LINE. This is my NL WEST BEST BET. Game 916. 6:40 pm pst. Los Angeles has taken four in a row over Arizona five of the six meetings in 2020, by an average of 3.8 RPG. Weaver (1-5, 8.23) and Kershaw (4-1, 1.80) square off here. LA ranks second in scoring (5.61 RPG) and first in Team ERA (2.71), while Arizona accounts for just 4.14 RPG (24th) and has a team ERA of 5.00 (21st). The Diamondbacks are 1-10 the last 11 vs. the NL East and 1-12 the last 13 overall. take the Dodgers on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-03-20 | White Sox -130 v. Royals | 11-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 34 m | Show
Take Chicago. This is my DOUBLE PLAY game. Game 913. 5:05 pm pst. Chicago has taken five of the six meetings with Kansas City in 2020, lighting up the Royals fo over 6.5 RPG. Dylan Cease (4-2, 3.00) and Danny Duffy (2-2, 4.11) get the starts today. The White Sox account for more than a full run per game than does the Royals (5.05/3.84). Chicago is 11-4 the last 15 on the road, 13-3 the last 16 vs. LH starters, and 9-3 the last1 2 vs. the AL Central. Take the White Sox. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-03-20 | Cubs -152 v. Pirates | 2-6 | Loss | -152 | 3 h 58 m | Show
Take Chicago. This is my TV GAME WINNER. Game 901. 10:35 am pst. The Cubs have taken all five meetings with the Pirates in 2020, including Games 1 and 2 of this series. they are one of baseball's best road teams at 12-6 away from home. Mills and Brubaker are on the mound today. Pittsburgh has struggled all season (last place in the NL Central at 10-24) are on a 1-5 slide. The Cubs are 16-5 the last 21 vs. teams with a winning percentage under .400 and 17-7 the last 24 as a favorite. Take Chicago. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-02-20 | Padres -1.5 v. Angels | 11-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 29 m | Show
Take San Diego on the RUN LINE. San Diego, the busiest team this trade deadline, is making a real push in the NL. very quietly, this squad ranks first in scoring (5.70 RPG), third in Team BA (.266), second in HR's (67), and second in SB's (31). Los Angeles, on the other hand, has not even reached the low expectations we had for them. Lamet (2-1, 2.35 ERA) takes the hill. the team is 5-2 in the RH's starts in 2020. Teheran gets the nod at home. The RH is 0-2 with a whopping ERA of 9.17. The Padres are 5-1 the last six on the road, 5-1 the last six IL games, and 11-3 the last 14 overall. The Angels are 3-7 the last 10 at home, 1-6 the last seven IL games, and 1-6 the last seven vs. the NL West. Take San Diego on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-02-20 | Rangers v. Astros -1.5 | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 6 m | Show
Take Houston on the RUN LINE. Prior to yesterday's, 6-5 loss, Houston took the previous seven consecutive meetings with Texas. Look for a bounce back here as Allard (0-3, 6.50 ERA, three straight losses) goes up against Javier (3-1, 3.77 ERA, 3-1 last four starts). The Astros offense averages 5.32 RPG compared to the 3.71 RPG accounted for by the Rangers lineup. Texas is 1-9 the last 10 at Houston, 1-6 the last seven on the road, and 1-8 the last nine vs. RH starters. Take Houston on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-02-20 | Tigers +152 v. Brewers | 5-8 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 58 m | Show
Take Detroit . Detroit, which has won six straight including Game 1 of this series on Tuesday, 12-1, is running hot. Spencer Turnbull (3-2, 2.97 ERA) hasn't allowed more than three runs in any appearance this season. Adrian Houser (1-3, 4.36 ERA) is 0-3 with a ND in his last four starts. The Tigers account for more than a full RPG than does the Brewers (4.97/3.89). Detroit is 6-0 the last six IL road games and 6-1 the last seven vs. the NL Central. Milwaukee is 1-5 the last six IL home games and 1-4 the last five vs. the AL Central. Take the Tigers. Thank you. |
|||||||
09-01-20 | Cardinals v. Reds UNDER 8.5 | 16-2 | Loss | -102 | 9 h 16 m | Show
Take the UNDER in the Cardinals/Reds matchup. This is my BB play. Games 901/902. 3:40 pm pst. neither one of these teams are smashing the cover off the ball with any consistency. And with two solid pitchers going today in Kwang-hyun Kim (1-0, 11.08 ERA in 16.2 IP) and Sonny Gray (5-1, 1.94 ERA in 41.2 IP), you can expect a low-scoring game here especially after last night's, 17 hit/12 run contest. Prior to that, five of the last seven meetings all went under the total. The UNDER is 4-1-1 in the Cardinals last six games played vs. the NL Central and 4-1 in the Reds last five games played vs. teams with a losing record. Take the UNDER. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-29-20 | Royals v. White Sox -152 | Top | 9-6 | Loss | -152 | 4 h 18 m | Show |
Take Chicago. With nine wins over their last ten games, Chicago is now tied with Cleveland and Minnesota for the top spot in the AL Central at 20-12. They have taken all four meetings with Kansas City in 2020. This is a team with one of the best lineups and pitching staffs in the Majors. Dylan Cease (4-2, 3.13) and Brady Singer (1-3, 5.16) square off here. The Royals, which have dropped seven of their last 10, have failed to produce both on the mound and at the plate. Take the White Sox. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-29-20 | Twins -1.5 v. Tigers | 2-8 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 26 m | Show
Take Minnesota. Despite coming in here off two losses, Minnesota is tied for the AL Central lead with Chicago and Cleveland.. Playing Detroit is just what is needed to get back on track. This is the first meeting between these two teams in 2020, but the Twins have taken five in a row and eight of the last nine meetings. Going back a bit further, they are 20-7 the last 27 matchups in Detroit. RH randy Dobnak has not allowed more than two ER's in any of his starts this season en route to a 5-1 record with a 1.78 ERA. Matthew Boyd dons an 0-4 mark with an 8.48 ERA. The LH has yielded 39 hits in 28.2 IP. Minnesota is 35-17 the last 52 games played on the road, 5-2 the last seven games played vs. the AL Central, and 7-3 the last 10 games played overall. Detroit is 19-62 the last 81 games played at home, 15-52 the last 67 games played vs. the AL Central, and 15-36 the last 51 games played during Game 1 of a series. Take the Twins. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-28-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Rangers | 2-6 | Loss | -139 | 8 h 29 m | Show
Take Los Angeles. Baseball's top scoring team (5.70 RPG) goes into Global Life Park to take on its poorest scoring team (3.60 RPG). Dustin May (1-1, 2.79 ERA) and Mike Minor (0-5, 6.75 ERA) get the nod here. Look for this one to get ugly and way out of hand as the Dodgers are 7-1 the last eight interleague road games, 8-1 the last nine vs. the AL West, and 10-1 the last 11 vs. LH starters. Take Los Angeles on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-28-20 | Cubs -125 v. Reds | 5-6 | Loss | -125 | 8 h 41 m | Show
Take Chicago. Look for the Cubs to bounce back here against a Reds team that they have beaten in two of three meetings in 2020. After a four-game skid, Cincy beat Milwaukee the last two outings but the Brewers lineup is in a funk. RH, Hendricks faces LH, Miley. The Chicago hurler has allowed just three ER's or less in five of his six starts. The Cubs are 5-2 the last seven on the road, 14-6 the last 20 as a favorite, and 6-2 the last eight vs. LH starters. Take Chicago. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-28-20 | Mets v. Yankees -140 | 6-4 | Loss | -140 | 6 h 51 m | Show
Take the Yankees. The Mets have played the Yankees tough the last few seasons. But the Yankees will come in here with a bargain price as the odds makers are looking at their current five-game slide and the fact that Jordan Montgomery is on the mound. However, the team is 10-4 at home this season and 3-1 in Montgomery's starts in 2020. The Mets are 1-6 the last seven vs. LH starters and 1-5 the last six during Game 1 of a series. The Yankees are 65-23 the last 88 at home and 8-3 the last 11 during Game 1 of a series. Take the Yankees. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-26-20 | A's -138 v. Rangers | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 10 h 56 m | Show
Take Oakland. Oakland has taken four of five meetings with Texas in 2020. These are two teams heading in opposite directions. The A's are perched atop the AL West with a 4.0 game lead, at 21-10. The Rangers, which have dropped nine of their last 10, are tied for third place with the Mariners, 9.0 GB, at 11-18. The team is 5-1 in Mike Fiers' starts in 2020. The RH is 3-1 on the campaign and has already notched a win over Texas at the beginning of the month. LH Kolby Allard (0-2, 7.82 ERA) is expected to start here. The A's are 43-17 the last 60 games played vs. the AL West. the Rangers are 0-5 ATS the last five vs. RH starters. Take Oakland. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-25-20 | Royals v. Cardinals -1.5 | 5-4 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 0 m | Show
Take St. Louis on the Run Line. Winners of three straight, St. Louis is starting to stride. Meanwhile, Kansas City, losers of three straight, continues to disappoint. The Cardinals took the last four meetings over the Royals by the average margin of 5.25 RPG. Harvey (0-1, 9.00 ERA) goes up against Wainwright (2-0, 2.00 ERA). KC is 3-7 the last 10 interleague games. St. Louis is 35-16 the last 51 as a favorite. Take the Cardinals on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-25-20 | Angels v. Astros -136 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 58 m | Show
Take Houston. Houston has taken three of four this season over Los Angeles. The Astros are one of baseball's best home teams at 11-4 at Minute Maid Park. Meanwhile the Angels, which own the AL's worst overall record (9-21) also sport the Majors worst overall road record (4-12). LH, Jose Suarez is 0-1 with an ERA of 33.75. He gave up five earned runs on five hits in just 1.1 IP in his only outing. RH, Christian Javier is 2-1 with a 3.55 ERA in 2020, with 26 K's in 25.1 IP. On both sides of the field, Houston is far superior. The Angels are 15-36 the last 51 on the road and18-46 the last 64 overall. The Astros are 48-17 the last 65 at home and 9-3 the last 12 overall. Take Houston. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-21-20 | Tigers v. Indians -1.5 | 10-5 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 53 m | Show
Take Cleveland on the RL. Cleveland, which is riding a six-game win streak, swept Detroit in the earlier series, 3-0, outscoring the Tigers, 21-11. They have now taken 10 straight over their AL Central rivals. On a nine-game slide, Detroit is posting just 4.43 RPG and ranks 30th in baseball with a Team ERA of 6.03. Cleveland ranks first in Team ERA at 2.50. The Tigers are 8-45 the last 53 meetings with the Indians, 15-41 the last 56 on the road, and 38-108 the last 146 overall. Take the Indians on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-20-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Mariners | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
Take Los Angeles on the RUN LINE. 4:10 pm pst. Los Angeles took their first loss in over a week yesterday (7-1 last eight), while Seattle won their first game in more than a week and a half (1-8 last nine). The Dodgers, which are 9-2 the last 11 meetings with the Mariners account for 5.58 RPG, while the M's post just 3.92 RPG. When it comes to pitching, LA ranks second with a Team ERA of 2.78 and Seattle ranks 28th with a Team ERA of 5.66. Three-time Cy Young award winner, Clayton Kershaw will shut down the lackluster, Mariners lineup. Take the Dodgers on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-20-20 | Indians -1.5 v. Pirates | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
Take Cleveland on the RUN LINE. As the season progresses, we can clearly see Cleveland (15-9) making a play in the AL Central, while Pittsburgh is not just in last place in the NL Central, but sports the worst record in all of baseball at 4-16. While it really doesn't matter which pitchers for either team gets to start here, I do like the expected, Shane "Don't call me Justin" Bieber against Trevor Williams. RH, Bieber is off to the best start of his career (30-13, 3.49 ERA lifetime) at 4-0 with an ERA of 1.30, fanning whopping, 54 batters in 34.2 IP. RH, Trevor Williams is just 1-3 with an ERA of 3.89 this season and has gotten very little run support and even less help from the league's 26th ranked pitching staff (Team ERA of 5.51). The Indians, which come off a three-game sweep of the Tigers, have seen their lineup come alive, while their top-ranked pitching staff (2.78 Team ERA) has been stellar. Pittsburgh is 1-7 the last eight home games and 1-12 the last 13 interleague games. Cleveland is 7-0 the last seven road games and 4-0 the last four games vs. RH starters. Take the Indians on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
08-20-20 | Astros +118 v. Rockies | 10-8 | Win | 118 | 5 h 36 m | Show
Take Houston. 12:10 pm pst. Houston has taken all three meetings with Colorado this season and now enters today's matchup a small underdog. The Astros are on a seven game hot streak, the best in the Majors. Both lineups are scoring runs, but the Rockies pitching staff has been a problem. Houston is 8-1 the last nine game played in Colorado and 16-5 the last 21 overall games played vs. Colorado. Colorado is 1-6 the last seven games played vs. the AL West and 1-6 the last seven game played overall. Take the Astros. Thank you. |
|||||||

Take Oakland. This is my AL WEST GOW. Game 906. 12:40 pm pst. These two AL West rivals are a lot further apart than just the four games separating them right now. Texas is playing some ugly baseball. Their pitching staff is mediocre (21st, 4.59 Team ERA). Their offense ranks 28th, averaging an anemic, 3.20 RPG. Winners of five straight and sitting atop the AL West, Oakland's lineup is starting to produce while their pitching staff ranks sixth, with a 2.97 Team ERA. Â It looks like LH, Mike Minors and RH, Mike Fiers are getting the nod here. The A's have taken nine of the last 10 meetings in this series and Fiers has started three of those matchups, all wins for the A's. Â Texas is 6-24 the last 30 games played at Oakland and 2-8 the last 10 played on the road. TAKE THE A'S. Thank you. |

Take Oakland. This is my BB play. Game 902. 12:40 pm pst. Oakland just took two of three over Los Angeles in Anaheim and now come home for the first time this season. A year ago, the A's sported a 57-29 home record, third best in the AL. They have taken five of the last six at home vs. the Angels and nine of the last 11 overall in the series. Take Cincinnati on the RUN LINE. This is my HR play. Game 924. 2:10 pm pst. Cincinnati disposed of Detroit yesterday, 7-1 to give the Reds five straight home victories over the Tigers. Many think that Cincy will win their division this season while many also believe Detroit will finish last in theirs. Ivan Nova (11-12, 4.72 LY) is no threat on the mound here. The RH is 5-7 with a 4.24 ERA in 12 career starts vs. the Reds. RH, Luis Castillo (15-8, 3.40 LY) was 11-4 before All-Star break a season ago and finished fifth in the NL with 226 K's. 07-25-20 | Pirates v. Cardinals -143 | 1-9 | Win | 100 | 4 h 10 m | Show
Take St. Louis. This is my LVSM play. Game 908. 11:15 am pst. The cardinals took Game 1 of this series yesterday, 5-4 to bring their domination of the Pirates to 10 wins in the last 11 meetings. RH, Trevor Williams (7-9, 5.38 LY) owns a 4-4 record with a 5.19 ERA in 14 career appearances (11 starts) against St. Louis. One of the most seasoned pitchers in the NL, Adam Wainwright (14-10, 4.19 LY) won five decisions in the month of September last season. The RH went 3-1 with a 3.41 ERA in six starts vs. Pittsburgh last year and sports a career, 16-7 record against them. |||||||
07-24-20 | Pirates v. Cardinals -1.5 | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
Take St. Louis on the RL. This is my NL CENTRAL GOW. Game 970. 5:15 pm pst. Saying St. Louis is going to come out with something to prove is an understatement. The Cardinals topped the NL Central last year at 91-71, bested the Braves in the Division Series, only to get swept, 4-0 by the Nationals in the League Championship Series. At 69-93, Pittsburgh was last year's division's bottom-feeder. A spot  many feel they will once again own. The Pirates send Joe Musgrove to the hill. The RH, in two seasons with the club, sports a 17-21 record, and a 4.25 ERA. Jack Flaherty gets the home start. The team is hopeful the RH will have another amazing season (11-8, 2.75, 231 K's in 2019).  Pittsburgh has trouble on the road, as they are 0-6 the last six games played as a guest. St. Louis owns Pittsburgh, going 9-1 the last 10 meetings of 2019. Take CARDINALS ON THE RUN LINE. Thank you. |
|||||||
07-24-20 | Twins -110 v. White Sox | 10-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 16 m | Show
Take Minnesota. This is my DIAMOND PLAY. Game 967. 5:10 pm pst. Â Minnesota returns this season as one of the best teams in baseball. The Twins enter 2020 very bitter after finishing the 2019 regular season at 101-61, only to get swept by the Yankees in the Division Series. They start the year off with Jose Berrios on the mound. The RH went 14-8 with an ERA of 3.68 last year, making it three solid campaigns in a row. Lucas Giolito gets the nod at home here. The RH comes off his best campaign yet (14-9, 3.41), but is just 27-26 with an ERA of 4.60, lifetime. Â The line here is a bit skewed as the Twinkies injury list rivals that of a Belichick/Patriots list. I'm not letting that scare me right now. This is a team on a mission. Â They are 4-0 the last four games played at the White Sox and 5-1 the last six overall vs. the White Sox. TAKE MINNESOTA. Thank you. |
|||||||
07-24-20 | Tigers v. Reds -1.5 | 1-7 | Win | 114 | 9 h 57 m | Show
Take Cincinnati on the RL. This is my GS. Game 954. 3:10 pm pst.  This is a very interesting opening week matchup as we see a team thought to finish last in their division go on the road to face a team slated to finish first in theirs.  The Tigers donned the AL's poorest record a season ago at 47-114. Believe it or not, they might end this season with a poorer winning percentage. Don't let the Reds 2019 record fool you. They played in the most competitive division in either league, with only 22 games separating the five squads that make up the NL Central. This team is certainly improved as they are expected to take the division this season.  In his five seasons in the Major's, Matthew Boyd had just one winning campaign, back in 2016 when the LH went 6-5 with an ERA of 4.53. Journeyman, Sonny Gray seems to have found a home with Cincinnati. In his first year with the team, the RH went 11-8 with an ERA of 2.87 in 2019. He found his control and it clearly paid off well. The Tigers are 0-4 the last four games played at the Reds. TAKE CINCINNATI ON THE RUN LINE.Thank you. |
|||||||
10-30-19 | Nationals +128 v. Astros | 6-2 | Win | 128 | 7 h 46 m | Show
Take Washington. This is my MLB WORLD SERIES GAME 7 WINNER. Game 913. 5:05 pm pst. Washington has put the pressure back on Houston in Game 7. Max Scherzer is 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA this postseason. The RH owns a career, 7-5, 3.36 postseason mark in 21 games (17 starts). Zack Greinke is 0-2 with a 5.30 ERA in the 2019 playoffs. The RH possesses career postseason stats of 3-6 with a 4.31 ERA in 15 games (15 starts). The Nationals are 11-1 the last 12 at the Astros, 22-8 the last 30 overall vs. the Astros, and 7-0 the last seven playoff road games. The Astros are 1-4 the last five World Series home games. Take Washington. Thank you. |

RH, Stephen Strasburg is 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA this postseason, while, RH, Justin Verlander, who is 1-3 with a 4.15 record in the 2019 postseason, owns a career, 0-5, 5.73 mark in six World Series starts. The Astros are 2-5 the last seven World Series home games. The Nationals are 8-3 the last 11 overall postseason games. Take Washington. Thank you. |
|||||||
10-26-19 | Astros v. Nationals OVER 8.5 | 8-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 10 m | Show
Take the OVER. This is my WS TOY. Games 907/908. 5:05 pm pst. After Games 1 and 2 both went over the total, Game 3 ended with just five runs scored. The powerful Washington offense accounted for only one run. Both lineups are due to break out. Let's be honest, RH, Jose Urquidy and LH, Patrick Corbin are not either teams best hurlers. Both pitchers  have appeared more as relievers in this postseason. The over is 5-2 in the Astros last seven vs. the NL East, 6-1 in the Nationals last seven vs. the AL, and 14-6 in the last 20 meetings between these two teams in Washington. Take the OVER. Thank you. |
|||||||
10-23-19 | Nationals +164 v. Astros | 12-3 | Win | 164 | 9 h 45 m | Show
Washington took Game 1 of this series, 5-4. You see, the Nationals are not intimidated by the Astros at all. With yesterday's win, Washington has now taken nine of the last 10 meetings at Houston and 20 of the last 26 overall meetings with Houston. RH, Stephen Strasburg is facing RH, Justin Verlander. Strasburg is a perfect, 3-0, with a 1.64 ERA this year and owns a career, 4-2, 1.10 postseason record. Verlander is 1-2, with a 3.70 ERA in the 2019 postseason and possesses a lifetime, 14-9, 3.26 playoffs record. Based on this pitching matchup, I must side with the hotter ace, and that is Stephen Strasburg and the Washington Nationals. Take the Nationals. Thank you. |
|||||||
10-17-19 | Astros v. Yankees -124 | 8-3 | Loss | -124 | 13 h 35 m | Show
Take NY. This is my ALCS GOY. Game 920. 5:08 pm pst. Tanaka has a 2-0 record with a 0.82 ERA this postseason and an overall, 5-2 record and a 1.32 ERA in seven career postseason starts. The Japanese native has faced Houston three times this season, going 1-0 and allowing just three runs in 18.0 IP against them. Zack Greinke has an 0-2 record with an 8.38 ERA in the 2019 playoffs. The former Kansas City Royals first round pick owns a lifetime playoff mark of 3-6 with a 4.58 ERA. New York is 45-14 the last 59 games played vs. the AL East, 40-11 the last 51 games played at home, and 12-0 in German's last 12 starts vs. the AL East. take New York on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |

08-12-19 | Red Sox v. Indians +106 | 5-6 | Win | 106 | 7 h 49 m | Show
Take Cleveland. This is my BEST BET. Game 962. 4:10 pm pst. Cleveland is red-hot, with a record of 36-15 the last 51 games. Boston is ice-cold, dropping 11 of the last 14 outings. LH, Eduardo Rodriguez is 13-5 with a 4.17 ERA on the season. RH, Zach Plesac (6-3, 3.13 TY) is unbeaten in his last six turns (3-0). The Indians took two of three meetings with the Red Sox this season. Cleveland is 5-1 the last six games played at home, 22-7 the last 29 games played vs. LH starters, and 16-5 the last 21 games played following a loss. Boston is 5-13 the last 18 games played at Cleveland, 0-5 the last five games played on the road, and 0-8 the last eight games played vs. teams with a winning record. Take the Indians. Thank you. |

08-09-19 | Astros -1.5 v. Orioles | 3-2 | Loss | -150 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Take Houston on the RUN LINE. This is my AL GOW. Game 917. 4:05 pm pst. Houston has won six in a row and nine of their last 10 outings to give the team a 10 game lead in the AL West. Their lineup, which ranks in the top-five in every major category, has taken it up a notch, averaging 9.0 RPG during their current winning streak. The Astros have taken two of three meetings against the Orioles this season, and 22 of the last 27 overall meetings, including an 8-2 record the last 10 matchups at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Baltimore is on a three game skid and have dropped seven of their last 10, dwelling in the AL East cellar, 37.0 GB. Their 30th ranked pitching staff has gotten crushed, allowing five or more runs in nine of those last 10 contests, for a total of 74 runs. LH, Wade Miley (10-4, 3.05 ERA TY) has been outstanding, yielding three or less runs in each of his last seven turns. RH, Dylan Bundy (5-11, 5.15 ERA TY) lost in his only start vs. the Astros, back on June 9th (against Miley no less) and has been tagged for 24 HR's thus far. This doesn't bode well as he faces a Houston offense ranking 3rd in round-trippers, with 192 HR's. Baltimore is 18-44 the last 62 games played at home, 15-42 the last 57 games played vs. the AL West, and 7-20 in Bundy's last 27 starts at home. Houston is 13-3 the last 16 game played vs. RH starters, 21-5 the last 26 games played following an off day, and 4-0 in Miley's last four starts on the road. Take the Astros on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |

08-08-19 | Phillies -107 v. Giants | 0-5 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 3 m | Show
Take Philadelphia. This is my GS play. Game 955. 6:45 pm pst. Philadelphia has taken two of three meetings against San Francisco this season and are in a Wild Card spot at the moment at 59-55. So, they need to keep their foot on the gas. Today, they have Aaron Nola on the mound. The RH has a 10-2 record with a 3.60 ERA on the season, including a 4-1, 1.91 mark over his last nine starts. San Francisco is a mess, dropping four of their last six games to sink to 20.0 GB in the AL West at 56-59. Madison Bumgarner gets the nod here. The LH has a 6-7 record with a 3.92 ERA this year. The Giants are 1-5 the last six games played vs. RH starters, 8-20 the last 28 games played vs. the NL East, and 0-4 the last four overall. Take the Phillies. Thank you. |

08-07-19 | Yankees -1.5 v. Orioles | 14-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
 Take New York on the RUN LINE. This is my AL EAST GOW. Game 917. 4:05 pm pst. There was some disappointment from both media and fans alike when the Yankees skipped over the trade deadline. Many were stunned because they are a contender and desperately need another pitcher. Those who were not stunned, were definitely shocked. It's uncharacteristic for New York not to be in the middle of a big name and a big money transaction. They have won seven in a row, with a 9.0 game lead in the AL East, come off a huge, four-game sweep of Boston, and go into Oriole Park where they have dominated Baltimore, with a 22-7 record the last 29 meetings at Camden Yards. New York has won 12 of 14 contests with Baltimore in 2019. The Bronx Bombers account for 6.46 RPG on the road and own a 41-14 record vs. AL East foes, while the O's are 18-34 the last 52 games played vs. the AL East. The Orioles are just 17-40 this season at home and are a laughable, 20-37 on the RL as a host, averaging a mere, 4.42 RPG in Baltimore. James Paxton takes the hill here. The LH has a 6-6 record with a 4.61 ERA, whiffing 123 batters in 95.2 IP and owns a 3-1 record with a 3.86 ERA in five career starts vs. the Orioles. John Means hasn't pitched since August 24th, when he was on the 10 day IL with a rotator cuff issue. The LH (8-6, 3.12 ERA) owns some poor numbers, getting shelled for 85 hits, 14 HR's, with 27 BB's, and only 78 K's in 98.0 IP. The 30-year old faced New York three times, all as a reliever, within seven days at the end of March into April. New York is 40-14 the last 54 games played vs. RH starters and 66-29 the last 95 games played overall. Baltimore is 18-43 the last 61 games played at home and 89-209 the last 298 games played overall. By the way, in those 12 wins NY took from Baltimore this season, they came by an average of 4.00 RPG. Take New York on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |

Take New York. This is my GS play. Game 918. 4:05 pm pst. New York has taken four straight vs. their AL East rival, including Games 1, 2, and 3 of this series to bring this season's record vs. Boston to a whopping, 10-4. The Bronx Bombers have scored five or more runs in seven of their last 10 outings behind a lineup that ranks 2nd in scoring (5.80 ROG), 4th in Team BA (.270), and 4th in HR's (185). The Red Sox are on a seven-game skid, losing by an average of 3.28 RPG, while opponents have lit them up for 51 runs during their current drought. LH, David Price (7-4, 3.86 ERA TY) is winless over his last four starts. LH, J.A. Happ (8-6, 5.19 ERA TY) is 7-3 with four ND's over his last 14 starts. Boston is 1-7 the last eight games played at New York, 0-7 the last seven games played vs. the AL East, 0-4 in Price's last four starts, 10-4 the last 14 games played on the road, and 0-7 the last seven games played vs. teams with a winning record. New York is 4-0 the last four games played vs. LH starters, 38-14 the last 52 games played vs. the AL East, 8-1 in Happ's last nine starts vs. the AL East, and 39-12 the last 51 games played at home. RH, James Barria (4-4, 6.28 ERA TY) has not made it past 5.0 IP in any of his last five starts in 2019. RH, Shane Bieber (10-4, 3.40 ERA TY) is 8-2 in his last 14 turns with four ND's, pitching 6.0 IP or more in nine of those 14 starts. The Angels are 2-6 the last eight vs. RH starters and 1-8 the last nine vs. the AL Central. The Indians are 10-3 the last 13 at home and 5-1 in Biebers last six overall starts. Take Cleveland on the RUN LINE. Thank you. |

Take Washington. This is my NL GOW. Game 907. 5:10 pm pst. Washington took Game 1 of this series to hand Arizona their fourth loss over their last five games. The Nationals sit in 2nd place in the NL East at 58-51, just 6.0 GB. They have taken 20 of the last 27 meetings at Chase Field. Stephen Strasburg gets the nod here. The RH (14-4, 3.26 ERA TY) went 5-0 with a 1.14 ERA in the month of July, and has won seven consecutive turns. Robbie Ray takes the hill at home. The LH (9-7, 3.91 ERA TY) has yet to defeat Washington in his career, with a lifetime, 0-5,6.52 mark in six starts against them. The Diamondbacks are 0-6 in Ray's last six starts vs. the Nats and 1-5 the last six vs. NL East foes. The Nationals are 14-6 the last 20 on the road and 81-30 in Strasburg's last 111 starts. Take Washington. Thank you. |
