08-26-20 | Lightning -103 v. Bruins | 7-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 18 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay over Boston (Wednesday at 8pm) We like the Lightning to make it back-to-back winners tonight as we believe they are the fresher of the two teams and with these games being played in less than 24 hours from each other, the Lightning should have more in the tank to offer than the Bruins. The Bruins are already torn on which goalie to start, saying Halak is too old to play twice in 24 hours. That's already somewhat creating an excuse and we believe sooner or later the Lightning is going to break out in a big way and dominate the full 60 minutes. Great spot to take the Lightning here off a great OT win. |
08-25-20 | Canucks +1.5 v. Golden Knights | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play - Take Vancouver +1.5 (-135) over Vegas (Tuesday at 9:45 pm) As per your selection on Vancouver to keep this game close, they got the stinker out of the way in Game 1 as they were utterly dominated by a solid Vegas team. This Vancouver team is a resilient team and one that bounces back well from losses and we believe Markstrom will have himself a great game in net and help his team keep this one close. |
08-24-20 | Stars v. Avalanche -147 | 5-2 | Loss | -147 | 10 h 21 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Colorado over Dallas (Monday at 9:45pm) As per your selection on Colorado, they got caught by surprise in Game 1 against the Stars as Dallas took the play to the Avs right from the opening face-off. Colorado was fresh off an easy series win and didn't quite get up to speed quick enough to stay in the game as they were down 3-1 and never recovered. The Avs are still the better team in this series and this will be a bounce-back game from them and we expect them to win this game and even the series at 1-1. Dallas has played extremely good hockey over the last four periods, but are far too inconsistent to maintain that level of play for another game. |
08-23-20 | Bruins -104 v. Lightning | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay -115 over Boston (Sunday at 8pm) As per your selection on Tampa, we believe they are the more complete team in this series and as such will get off to a winning start in Game 1 vs Boston. The Lightning has more depth, better goaltending and better defensive than the Bruins and we believe they are a team that's motivated beyond belief after the disappointment of last season. The Lightning made quick work of a stingy Columbus team and they should have no problems with a Boston team who was consistently outplayed vs the Hurricanes despite taking the series 4-1. Take Tampa and let's cash another hockey ticket! |
08-21-20 | Blues v. Canucks +120 | 2-6 | Win | 120 | 8 h 4 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Vancouver over St. Louis (Friday at 9:45pm) As per your selection on Vancouver, we believe they are the better team in this series despite being the younger and vastly more inexperienced squad. They have the better goaltender in the series by far and he's been brilliant over the first five games and essentially single-handily kept them in the last game where they prevailed in OT. The Blues look a bit lost, similar to how Washington played in their series against the Islanders, so we will gladly take plus-money on a younger, faster, hungrier team that's one game away from advancing to the next round. |
08-20-20 | Islanders -105 v. Capitals | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show
4-Unit Play - Take New York Islanders over Washington (Thursday at 8pm) As per your selection on the Islanders, we just don't see Washington winning two straight games to stave off elimination. Make no mistakes about it, the Islanders have a five minutes lapse in the second, blowing a 2-0 lead which caused Washington to score twice and gain momentum. the other 11 periods of the series, the Islanders have been far and away the better team. They are better coached and I believe Trotz will have his team ready to make sure they don't let this game get away. |
08-19-20 | Hurricanes v. Bruins -140 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 4 h 7 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Boston over Carolina (Wednesday @ 4:00 pm). Note the Early Start time** As per your selection on Boston, we saw just how dominant the Bruins can be in a 7 minutes span in the third period of the last game, where they scored 4 times to erase a 2-0 third period hole. That alone gives the Bruins enough momentum to get them over the hump here and end this series before giving Carolina another sniff at it. Carolina has struggled to generate much offense this series and we don't see that happening again in Game 6. Take Boston and let's cash this hockey ticket. |
08-18-20 | Capitals v. Islanders -115 | 3-2 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 45 m | Show
7-Unit Play. Take New York Islanders over Washington (Tuesday at 8pm) As per your selection on New York to get the job done tonight, we simply don't see Washington showing up to this Game 4. They are down 3-0 in the series and teams down 0-3 in the series very rarely, if ever come back and win the series. The motivation also will be missing considering the circumstances as they've been in the bubble for nearly three weeks and they've got nothing to show for it. The Islanders have shown us time and time again that they are in fact a good team and they play a certain brand of hockey that Washington simply cannot get past or match up with well. The big guns for Washington have been invisible this series and with one foot on the plane home, we see this series ending tonight. |
08-17-20 | Bruins -123 v. Hurricanes | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 43 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Boston over Carolina (Monday at 8 pm) As per your selection on Boston, we believe the loss of Svechnikov for Carolina is going to hurt them in more ways than one. He was among their leading goal scorers and without his production against a solid defensive team like Boston, we believe the Canes will struggle to generate anything. Boston has been the better team in this series for the most part and the introduction of Halak means they have the better goalie between the pipes no matter who Carolina trots out. The B's have the experience needed to know how to close out a series and while this game will give them the third win in the best of seven, this game will be critical for the B's to not give Carolina life heading into Game 5. |
08-16-20 | Blues v. Canucks +115 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 41 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Vancouver +120 over St. Louis (Sunday at 10:30 pm) We've watched nearly every minute of these four series and we believe these are the better teams in the series and we believe Calgary and Vancouver will get their third win of the series while Vegas will eliminate Chicago and Montreal will take the 2-1 series lead over Philly. |
08-15-20 | Lightning v. Blue Jackets +153 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Columbus over Tampa Bay (Saturday at 8:00 pm). As per your selection on Columbus, for whatever reason, they just give Tampa Bay fits and right now I think they are playing the better hockey and they are in Tampa's heads. Last year was a big disappointment for the Lightning who were swept by the Blue Jackets 4-0. This year they carried the burden of that into this series and I think they are still being haunted by last year's exit. The Jackets play such a tight game, they limit the chances and Tampa just doesn't seem to have the jump we are accustomed too. This is a great price to take on a team that's simply playing better hockey. |
08-14-20 | Islanders v. Capitals -118 | 5-2 | Loss | -118 | 8 h 40 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Washington over New York (Friday @ 8:00 pm). As per your selection on Washington, we expect a major response from the entire team after blowing a 2-0 lead in the second and giving up the game-winning goal shorthanded. The Caps are a veteran team that's been thru adversity in the past and we expect them to come right back with a win. This is also a steal of a price so we. Are jumping all over it. |
08-13-20 | Flames -102 v. Stars | Top | 4-5 | Loss | -102 | 11 h 8 m | Show |
10-Unit Play. Take Calgary over Dallas (Thursday @ 10:30 pm). As per your selection on Calgary, we have no issues going back to Calgary for Game 2 as they were the better team for extended stretches of their Game 1 win vs Dallas. We simply love their matchups with the Stars and we believe they have the better goaltending and offense as well. This game is going to be another tight-checking affair and we'll take Calgary's ability to score on the power play and kill off penalties over Dallas' extremely inconsistent offense. |
08-11-20 | Flames +102 v. Stars | 3-2 | Win | 102 | 7 h 59 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Calgary over Dallas (Tuesday @ 5:30 pm). As per your selection on Calgary, we are simply going with the better team and the team who's played more meaningful hockey over the last week and a half. Calgary was dominated in every one of their games vs Winnipeg while Dallas didn't exactly do anything to give their fan base hope about their chances of progressing. Calgary has the better depth and that will come to the forefront in this series, and more importantly for us Game 1. Great price on the better team and we are all over it. |
08-09-20 | Blue Jackets v. Maple Leafs -152 | 3-0 | Loss | -152 | 8 h 49 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Toronto -165 over Columbus (Sunday @ 8:00 pm). I'm sorry for beating a dead horse, but how do we not go back to the well once more with this Toronto team? They are such a weird team that they could get either blown out this game after giving their fan base hope, or they will win this game and make a deep run in the playoff. We feel they are and have been the better team for 10 out of the 12 periods played so far this series. They've been stopped by a hot goalie, but scoring those three goals in succession can only go to their legs and help boost their confidence. Gotta take the better team here and we believe they get the job done. |
08-08-20 | Flyers v. Lightning -130 | 4-1 | Loss | -130 | 9 h 39 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay over Philadelphia (Saturday @ 8:00 pm) As per your selection on Tampa Bay, we are going to roll with a team that is playing with urgency and a sense of purpose after what happened to them last year in the playoffs. Tampa has carried the burden of getting swept 4-0 by Columbus all season long and they can guarantee themselves the top spot in the East with a win vs Philly. Tampa has played well in each of their two round-robin games and we feel they are the more complete team and the team that can be trusted to win a close hockey game. |
08-07-20 | Canucks +100 v. Wild | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 24 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Vancouver over Minnesota (Friday @ 10:45 pm). What a garbage collapse by the Leafs yesterday. As per your selection on Vancouver, we believe they are simply the faster, more talented, and overall better team in this matchup and it showed immensely in Game 3. Now they have a chance to win the series and we just like they way they are playing right now with their top guys going strong while Minnesota is fluttering having been shutout and seemingly running out of gas and ideas on how to handle the Canucks. Good price on the better team, we'll take it every time. |
08-06-20 | Maple Leafs -145 v. Blue Jackets | 3-4 | Loss | -145 | 11 h 39 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Toronto over Columbus (Thursday @ 8:00 pm). If they keep pricing the Leafs at -150 or cheaper, I'm going to keep hammering them. The Leafs are far and away the better team and despite the absence of Jake Muzzin on defense, the Leafs should be able to build off their Game 2 win and continue to dictate the play with their speed and skill. Columbus simply doesn't have an answer for the Leafs' talent and we saw what Freddy can do in net after a loss - a 20 save shutout - to boost the confidence. Leafs win this one with ease again and go up 2-1 in the series. |
08-05-20 | Lightning v. Bruins -110 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 0 m | Show |
10-Unit Play. Take Boston over Tampa Bay (Wednesday @ 4:00 pm) As per your selection on Boston, we like them to bounce back here against a Tampa team that is going to be without their captain again in Steven Stamkos. Boston suffered a 4-1 loss to the Flyers in the opening round-robin game, but have had an extra day to rest and prepare for a Tampa team that they've struggled with over the last little while. That changes tonight as the Bruins know a loss will likely slide them down to the fourth seed and give them a much tougher matchup in the next round of the playoffs - likely the Pittsburgh Penguins. As for Tampa, they coasted through a 2-1 shootout win and were lucky to get the win as they were severely outplayed. This is a great number on a healthy Boston squad and we are all over it today. |
08-04-20 | Blue Jackets v. Maple Leafs -143 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 49 m | Show
6-Unit Play. Take Toronto over Columbus (Tuesday @ 4:00 pm). As per your selection on Toronto, we have no issues going back to them in this must-win Game 2. Look, the Leafs didn't just fluke into being the third highest-scoring team in the league. They have the talent and they have guys who can make things happen and be game-changers. We saw them play a very good defensive game - which is usually their downfall - and we saw that Columbus can't generate much by way of offense. The goal they scored, the goalie should have stopped it and will stop that shot 99 times out of 100. We expect the Leafs to come out with a little more urgency today and put up a handful of goals to even this series. |
08-03-20 | Canadiens v. Penguins -135 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Pittsburgh over Montreal (Monday at 8:00 pm) It's like we traveled back in time to 2014 when Carey Price was stealing games for the Habs. He stole Game 1 for them in 2020, but we don't see him getting that lucky in Game 2. The Penguins stars had an off-night and with a tough OT loss to swallow and this being the best of 5 series, they know that going down 0-2 would put them in a disastrous spot. Pittsburgh bounces back in a big way tonight. |
08-03-20 | Stars v. Golden Knights -133 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 40 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Vegas over Dallas (Monday @ 6:30 pm). As per your selection on Vegas, we believe they are the better team and they are finally fully healthy and ready to make another deep run in the postseason. Prior to the stoppage, Vegas was playing some of it's best hockey while Dallas was slumping to six straight defeats. These “round-robin” games are basically glorified exhibition games, but we believe Vegas has the edge in every aspect of the game. |
08-02-20 | Blue Jackets v. Maple Leafs -145 | 2-0 | Loss | -145 | 9 h 58 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Toronto over Columbus (Sunday @ 8:00 pm) As per your selection on Toronto, we simply believe they are the better team and off the layoff, the team with the most offensive talent is going to prevail. Columbus struggles to score goals and the Leafs defense has in fact shown signs of life over the last little bit prior to the stoppage. The Leafs have the best players on the ice on all three of the top lines and we feel they will be the difference in Game 1 and get the Leafs off to a winning start. |
08-01-20 | Canadiens v. Penguins OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -102 | 10 h 35 m | Show
6-Unit Play. Take Over in Montreal vs Pittsburgh (Saturday @ 8:00 pm). As per your selection on the over in tonight's game between Montreal and Pittsburgh, we believe Pittsburgh blitzes Montreal in this game which means the over is in play for Pittsburgh to cover on their own. Montreal looked like complete garbage in their tune-up against the Leafs, giving up odd-man rush after odd-man rush. I know it was just a scrimmage but against the firepower the Penguins have, if the Canadians are not tuned into the defensive side of the ice, they are going to be sent packing in three straight. We did see some good offensive things from the Canadians as they generated a bunch of good scoring chances and should be able to do the same against a Pens team that can be known to have lapses in their defensive zone. This game has 4-2 all over it and we are taking the over in this matchup. |
03-10-20 | Bruins v. Flyers -102 | 2-0 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 58 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #050. Take Philadelphia over Boston (Tuesday @ 7:00 pm) As per your selection on Philadelphia, we roll with the hottest team in the NHL as the Flyers have won 9 straight and have a great chance at getting it to 10 as they host the Bruins. The Flyers are simply clicking on all cylinders right now while the Bruins are coming off three extremely tough and hard-fought games against the Bolts (2x) and Panthers. Their latest game, they lost 5-3 to the Bolts and it was more than just two points that were up for grabs. It was a message sending for the likely second-round playoff meeting these two teams are destined for. That emotion won't be able to be carried over by the Bruins and we expect the Flyers to take full advantage of it and come out and get a few goals early in this one. Philly is. Solid 25-5-4 on home ice and will be able to take over the top spot in the Metro with a win. Give me the Flyers at home tonight. |
03-09-20 | Avalanche -130 v. Kings | 1-3 | Loss | -130 | 11 h 9 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #041. Take Colorado over Los Angeles (Monday @ 10:30 pm) As per your selection on Colorado, this is a great spot for them to grab another win and extend their run to 9-1-1 over their last 11 games. The Ads are coming off a 4-3 win against San Jose and now get to take on a Kings team that is just not very good. Don't let their five-game winning streak fool you, the Kings are basically an AHL team playing above their head and their wins, have come against not the greatest batch of teams like NJ, TOR, and Minnesota. Colorado is a major step up in class and as the Avs are finally fully healthy, we expect them to dominate this game from start to finish and get back into first place in the Central division. |
03-06-20 | Coyotes v. Flames -140 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 59 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #072. Take Calgary -145 over Arizona (Friday @ 9:00 pm). As per your selection on Calgary, we have no problems going against Arizona tonight even if they are riding a two-game winning streak. The Coyotes got extremely lucky in their latest wins against Vancouver and now have to take on a healthy Calgary squad that is playing to maintain their spot in the top-3 in the Pacific division. Calgary rolls into this game on a two-game winning streak of their own having blanked the Panthers and erasing a 2-0 hole against Columbus. The Flames are good on home ice, whereas the Yotes struggle away from home. Calgary got the better of Arizona back in December and we expect the same result tonight. |
03-04-20 | Coyotes v. Canucks -107 | 4-2 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 20 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #044. Take Vancouver over Arizona (Wednesday @ 10:30 pm) As per your selection on Vancouver, they desperately need this game to continue their hunt for a playoff spot. The Canucks have dropped their last three road games but return home where they are 20-7-4 on the season and get to take on a Coyotes team that is hovering around .500 on the road and has lost three of their last five games. The Canucks know they missed a great opportunity to accumulate the points against weaker teams like Ottawa and Columbus so they're going to have to do it the hard way against an Arizona team that doesn't give up much by way of offense. The Canucks won the last meeting between these two teams and we think a return to home ice will give them the boost needed to get the two points. |
03-03-20 | Sabres v. Jets -161 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 16 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #026. Take Winnipeg -165 over Buffalo (Tuesday at 8:00 pm). As per your selection on Winnipeg, this is a great spot for the Jets to bounce back in the win column after falling 3-2 to the Oilers on Saturday. They've had an extra day of rest and need these two points more than the Sabres if they want to get back into the playoff race as they sit just outside a wild-card spot as of right now. The Sabres are essentially playing out the string and have lost three straight games while scoring just two goals in each game. That kind of production isn't going to cut it against a good, high-octane offense like Winnipeg. The Sabres seemingly never get high-quality goaltending, so we expect the Jets to be able to put in a few more goals than normal and take both points on home ice. |
02-29-20 | Avalanche v. Predators -128 | 3-2 | Loss | -128 | 7 h 25 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #072. Take Nashville -140 over Colorado (Saturday at 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Nashville, we believe this is a great spot for them to continue their winning ways and beat a really good Colorado team. Look, Nashville has won three straight home games and we like them to make it four against an Avs team who played last night in Carolina and is now traveling and playing their third game in four nights in their third different city. The Avs have won five straight themselves, but they've beaten the Ducks, Kings, and Sabres while managing just 12 goals over those five games. The Preds don't give up a lot in terms of chances or goals, so we believe the Preds are best suited to contain the Avalanche attack and improve on their good home record. Not to mention, Michael Hutchinson is starting for Colorado and we all know how poor he was for the Leafs before getting traded a few weeks ago. |
02-27-20 | Maple Leafs -107 v. Panthers | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #035. Take Toronto over Florida (Thursday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on Toronto, did you expect anything different from them than a win vs the best team in the league after getting embarrassed by a Zamboni driver on Saturday night? This is what the Leafs do, and what the Leafs will do tonight is exact some revenge on Florida and make up for their embarrassing 8-4 loss the last time these two teams met in Florida. The Leafs know this is essentially the biggest game of the year as a win will put a four-point gap between them and Florida while a loss will drop them to out of a playoff spot. Florida has had a hell of a time lately, losing six of ten, not to mention two of their last three games. This game is their first home game in 11 days after a five-game road trip and fading the home team is a great angle for this spot. Make no mistakes about it. The Leafs will not be caught asleep in this game or I think the GM may send the entire team to live on Mars. |
02-22-20 | Hurricanes v. Maple Leafs -148 | 6-3 | Loss | -148 | 7 h 29 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #038. Take Toronto -140 over Carolina (Saturday at 7:00 pm). Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday and great 6* winner Thursday on Toronto. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Toronto, we are going back to the well with them on home ice as we loved their fight and response Thursday against Pittsburgh. The Leafs finally showed some heart and work ethic in that game, dominating the game for long stretches at a time. However, it's what they do next that matter. If they don't win this game, that game will be for nothing and they'll be right back to square one. They've already beaten Carolina this year and we see no reason why they can't do the double against a Hurricanes team that is floundering right now, winning just twice over their last five games. The Canes are not the best team on the road as they are just hovering above .500, so we like the Leafs to continue their home ice run and get another much-needed win. |
02-20-20 | Penguins v. Maple Leafs -112 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show
6-Unit Play. #008. Take Toronto over Pittsburgh (Thursday at 7:00 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Toronto, this is basically put up or shut up time as the season and a postseason birth seemingly hang in the balance with every passing day. This Leafs team has played below expectations for much of the season but still has a chance at playoff spot, but they need to get better goaltending and better team defense and better overall play from their key guys. They need to find a work ethic that's unmatched and they need to do it in a hurry since the game is running out. They were flat out embarrassed once again by Pittsburgh on Tuesday and now get a shot at redemption, and from what I hear out of the team, they know it's time to play with a sense of urgency. This could go down as a waste and one of the more frustrating Leafs seasons in franchise history, but they are just too talented to not go down without a fight. This is a series where the home team has dominated, winning 8 of 11 and the Leafs have dominated the Penguins in Toronto going 4-1 over their last 5 games. Leafs win this one and calm the storm for one more day. |
02-18-20 | Sabres -110 v. Senators | 4-7 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 19 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #057. Take Buffalo over Ottawa (Tuesday @ 7:30 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Buffalo, we like them to do well in this spot against a Senators team that has been brutal of late, losing 7 of their last 10 games. The Sens will be playing their third game in four nights while the Sabres will be playing just their second in just 5 days meaning they should be the fresher of the two teams, while also not playing again until Saturday. Buffalo has strung together three straight wins and we expect them to make it four as they seem to have found their scoring ways, meeting 12 goals during the win streak. That should be good enough to take advantage of the Sens' 28th ranked goals-against average. Look for Buffalo to come out hot and get another win. |
02-17-20 | Lightning -114 v. Avalanche | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 35 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #049. Take Tampa Bay over Colorado (Monday at 9:00 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Tampa Bay, how could you go against a team that has won 10-straight games, all of which in dominating fashion! The Lightning are vying for that top seed in the East and the Presidents trophy, and they look every bit the part of it as they've scored 34 goals over the 10 game winning streak while giving up just 16. Now they get to take on an Avs squad that is coming off a big loss to LA in the outdoor game, and it's hard to flip a switch to go from such a production and monumental game to a regular home game, despite the opponent. The Lightning are 5-0 in their last 5 vs the West and 12-1 in their last 13 vs teams with a winning record. They've also won the last 4 games in Colorado and are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings. |
02-16-20 | Maple Leafs -135 v. Sabres | 2-5 | Loss | -135 | 8 h 5 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #037. Take Toronto over Buffalo (Sunday at 7:00 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner last night as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Toronto, we have no issues going with them on the second half of B2B's. The Leafs had a great win last night vs the Sense and not they get to take on another dumpster fire organization in Buffalo. The Leafs are in the thick of a playoff race while the Sabres are just playing out the string. We also like the fact that the Leafs are starting their No.1 tonight after resting him last night. The Leafs have owned this series vs Buffalo winning 8 of the last 10 meetings vs the Sabres and we expect that trend to continue. The Sabres give up plenty of goals and high quality scoring chances, something the Leafs will be able to take advantage of. |

02-15-20 | Stars -122 v. Canadiens | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
8-Unit Play. #011. Take Dallas -130 over Montreal (Saturday at 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Dallas, this is the ideal spot for the Stars to pick up another win and extend their winning streak to four games. The Stars have beaten three good teams in a row in St.L, Car and Tor and now get to take on a mediocre Habs team who is slumping once again this season. Since beating the Leafs, the Habs have lost three straight and scored just four goals during that streak. Dallas is third overall in goals against and we just don't see a way for Montreal to solve their goal-scoring issues tonight. The Stars are right in the thick of the Central division race and will want to win this game to inch closer to first place. It helps matters that the Habs played last night while the Stars have been resting and waiting in Montreal since Thursday night. Once again, the Stars are the better team and have gone 8-2 in their last 10 Saturday games, 4-1 in their last 5 vs the East, 4-1 in their last 5 road games and are 10-3 in their last 13 after giving up 2 goals or less. The HAbs are a brutal 1-5 in their last 6 vs the Central, 4-11 on the second half of B2B'S and just 3-7 in their last 10 as underdogs. |
02-13-20 | Capitals +127 v. Avalanche | 3-2 | Win | 127 | 10 h 16 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #067. Take Washington over Colorado (Thursday at 9:30 pm). As per your selection on Washington, we like this spot for them as an underdog as the majority of you will be on Colorado because they've won five straight games. Washington is a good team and has done tremendously well on the road this season, posting a 20-6-1 record away from home. They've had two tough games against the Flyers and Islanders, but they are rested now having had two days off before tonight's game. They have owned this series over the last 10 games winning 8 of them, with the exception of the first meeting this season which was a 6-3 Colorado win- a game in which the Ads scored four first period goals. That simply won't happen again tonight. The Avs may be on a 5 game winning streak but they beat the Sens twice and the Sabres once during that span. Now they step up in class and with this being their fourth game in six-nights, we don't see them having enough in the tank to contain the high-flying Capitals. Great price with a great team and we'll be all over it. |
02-11-20 | Rangers v. Jets -120 | 4-1 | Loss | -120 | 10 h 41 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #034. Take Winnipeg over New York (Tuesday at 8:00 pm) As per your selection on Winnipeg, we have no problem going back to the well with them on home ice after they cashed our ticket on Sunday vs Chicago. Winnipeg has now won three straight over good opposition and gets to take on a Rangers team who are just hovering around .500 on the road. The Rangers will be playing their first road game since Feb 1, so it could take a little time to adjust to playing a more simple game. We don't believe the Rangers have what it takes to go into a tough barn to play in and come away with the two points. Winnipeg is in the middle of a heated playoff race and needs to make good on this current six-game home stand, of which this is game 3 (2-0 so far). The Jets have averaged nearly 3 goals per game against the Rangers over the last 10 and with the way they are putting the puck in the back of the net recently, we expect them to get a bunch here tonight. |
02-10-20 | Predators -115 v. Canucks | 2-6 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 51 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #019. Take Nashville over Vancouver (Monday @ 10:00 pm) We are traveling once again today so no time for a lengthy write-up. As per your selection on Nashville, we believe this is a great spot for them to do well against a Vancouver team who has lost the plot a bit of the last four games - all losses. Vancouver has been outscored 18-7 in four straight losses and now they take on a Nashville team that has been playing well prior to a 3-2 setback vs Edmonton on Saturday. Nashville has revenge on their minds for this one as they've lost the first two games of the three-game series and will need two get these two points to maintain their pace in the playoff standings. Vancouver is coming off an emotional and physical loss vs a Canadian rival and will now be without one of their key guys up front in Boeser for two games. This is a letdown spot for the Canucks and the Press will take advantage of it. |
02-09-20 | Blackhawks v. Jets -109 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #008. Take Winnipeg over Chicago (Sunday at 7:00 pm) We are traveling today so no time for a lengthy write-up. As per your selection on the Winnipeg, they are simply the better team in this matchup and we like them to take advantage of a Chicago team that has played over their heads for the last handful of games. The Jets have won two straight and have a good home ice record and will need this win to keep the momentum going on their homestand and keep themselves in that second wildcard slot. Take Winnipeg. |
02-08-20 | Maple Leafs -101 v. Canadiens | 1-2 | Loss | -101 | 8 h 31 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #073. Take Toronto over Montreal (Saturday @ 7:00 pm). As per your selection on the Toronto, you have to believe the Leafs are feeling good about themselves having won last night and getting reinforcements in terms of back up goalie and some grit. Now they take on the Canadiens whom they've beat in 7 of the last 10 games. The Leafs know they can't afford any slip-ups against Eastern Conference teams especially the Habs who are hot on their tails in the playoff race. The Leafs own a good away record and we like their ability to score goals on the road as they've scored at least 3 in nine straight road games. The Habs have played well of late but have beaten two terrible teams in NJ and Anaheim. This is a real jump up in class against the Leafs and we think the Leafs simply have too much firepower for the Habs to keep up with. |
02-06-20 | Hurricanes v. Coyotes +105 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 34 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #050. Take Arizona over Carolina (Thursday @ 9:00 pm) As per your selection on the Arizona Coyotes, we believe this is a spot where they will do well as they come off a much-needed confidence-boosting win vs Edmonton in their last game. Prior to that, they had lost two games that went beyond regulation, so those games turn out to be a crapshoot and they could very easily be on a three-game winning streak and favored in this one. The Hurricanes have been poor out of the All-Star break having lost two of their last three games and are coming off a 6-3 drubbing by the defending Cup champs, St. Louis. Carolina has not fared particularly well on the road as they are just 12-11-2 whereas at home they are 9 games above .500. The Yotes are in the middle of a heated playoff race for the Pacific division and we feel that this is a great game for them to bring their best effort and get another two points. |
02-04-20 | Stars v. Islanders -121 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 28 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #006. Take New York Islanders over Dallas (Tuesday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the New York Islanders, we like them to get back in the win column tonight on home ice where they own a solid 15-7-4 record. Their opponent, the Stars, is coming off a hard-fought win just last night against the Rangers and will be playing in their third road game in just four nights before returning home to face the Wild. We know goals are going to be at a premium in this contest as both teams rank inside the Top-6 in goals allowed per game, but when the third period rolls around we believe the Islanders' fresher legs will be the difference in this one. The Isles haven't played since Saturday and they showed a lot of resilience in that game only to fall short a half a minute into OT. The Isles also have a bit of revenge on their mind as they lost to the Stars 3-1 back in December. Take the fresher Isle team tonight and enjoy a nice NHL winner. |
02-03-20 | Panthers v. Maple Leafs -169 | 5-3 | Loss | -169 | 8 h 56 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #059. Take Toronto over Florida (Monday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the Toronto Maple Leafs, we feel as if this is a spot for them to do well and get a huge win with playoff implications. The Leafs are just two points up of the Panthers for third in the Atlantic but the Panthers have two games in hand. The Leafs are rolling right now out of the all-star break having won three straight while playing some good defense in the process. Now they get to face a Florida team who was just blanked by the Canadians in a game they never really looked interested in. The Leafs also have the revenge factor in this one after getting trounced 8-4 back on January 12th, a game that the Leafs coach was not very pleased with. Expect the Leafs to continue to play well and put up goals and add a little distance between themselves and the Panthers in the standings. |
02-01-20 | Lightning -160 v. Sharks | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #059. Take Tampa Bay over San Jose (Saturday at 10:30 pm). As per your selection on the Tampa Bay Lightning, we have no problem backing them on the second half of a B2B as they are the first two games out of the All-Star break and the guys should still be fresh. Not to mention, the Lightning are rolling right now having won 7 of their last 10 games, including last night vs Anaheim 4-3. Now they get to take on an SJ team who just lost one of their best players in Hertl and are just not a very good team altogether. They've won just four of their last 10 games including just one of their last five. The Sharks also don't have a great home-ice advantage to speak of like in prior years, so we don't see how they neutralize the high flying Lightning. Take Tampa and let's cash another ticket. |
01-31-20 | Flyers v. Penguins -165 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 59 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #020. Take Pittsburgh over Philadelphia (Friday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the Pittsburgh Penguins, we feel as if this is a great spot to back them as they have a bit of revenge on their mind as they lost to this very Philadelphia team 3-0 in their last game before the All-Star Break. Prior to that loss, the Pens had won six of seven and had rocketed up the Metro standings. Tonight, they get back in the win column against a Philly team who a completely different team on the road (10-13-2) compared to at home (17-4-4). The Penguins also own one of the best home records and with essentially a healthy lineup to throw at the Flyers, we don't see the Penguins losing back to back games to the Flyers. |
01-30-20 | Canadiens v. Sabres +106 | 3-1 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #014. Take Buffalo over Montreal (Thursday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the Buffalo Sabres, we feel that this is an ideal spot to back them against a Montreal team that is just ravaged with injuries and continues to give up boatloads of goals. The Sabres came out of the break flat against the Suns, losing 5-2 despite being tied at 2-2 at one point. The Canadians were simply outplayed by the Capitals in their first game out of the break and we expect that trend to continue on the road against a Sabres team who has an excellent home record and who is better on the defensive side of the ice. The Sabres have already beaten the Habs once this season and there's no reason to believe they can't do it again on home ice. Look for Buffalo to come out strong and get a much needed two points two stop the losing streak. |
01-29-20 | Maple Leafs +104 v. Stars | 5-3 | Win | 104 | 9 h 56 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #001. Take Toronto over Dallas (Wednesday at 7:30 pm) As per your selection on the Toronto Maple Leafs, we like the way they came out of the break and played a dominating 60 minutes vs Nashville. They must have really had time to think about their coach's ?immature? comment over the break as they were ready to play and fired on all cylinders. Now, it only matters what they do next and they cannot afford to drop many more games down the stretch if they want to get into the playoffs. The Stars are coming off a hard-fought win over Tampa in their last game and we saw them expend a tremendous amount of energy just to win that game, this could be a spot they come out flat in and we'll back the Leafs tonight to get the win. The Leafs have beaten the Stars eight out of the last 10 matches while scoring nearly 4 goals per game. They are averaging 4 goals per game over their last 8 road games, so there's no reason to believe that trend won't continue. |
01-28-20 | Blues v. Flames -114 | 5-4 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 45 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #085. Take Calgary over St. Louis (Tuesday at 9:00 pm) As per your selection on the Calgary Flames, this is normally a spot we'd back them anyways as they play well on home ice and are playing well having won four of their last six games. As for the Blues, you couldn't ask for a tougher start post-All-Star break than on the road in Vancouver and Calgary on B2B nights. The Blues have now lost three straight and six of their last 10 games, which tells us they are going through some internal issues which won't be corrected overnight, especially on the back half of a B2B. The Games are in a four-way tie for the second spot in the Pacific and know that an opportunity like this to catch a tired team doesn't happen all that often and should be taken advantage of. Give us the Flames at home to get another win. |
01-27-20 | Blues v. Canucks +113 | 1-3 | Win | 113 | 11 h 17 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #080. Take Vancouver over St.Louis (Monday @ 10:00 pm) As per your selection on the Vancouver Canucks, we feel as if this is a great spot to back them at home after the All-Star Break. The Canucks had won two straight prior to the break and have won four of the last five games. Now they get to take on a St. Louis team who's coming off the All-Star break having lost two straight games. Not to mention, four of their top players had to participate/host All-Star weekend, so while everyone else was resting, these guys were in go-mode all weekend long. This is a good price to back the Canucks on and we'll take a shot with the more rested of the two teams. |
01-21-20 | Penguins v. Flyers +116 | 0-3 | Win | 116 | 9 h 44 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #020. Take Philadelphia over Pittsburgh (Tuesday at 7:30 pm) As per your selection on the Philadelphia Flyers, we feel as if they need this game little more than the Penguins do heading into the All-Star Break. Philly has been ravaged by injuries of late, but have still found a way to win three of their last four games and four of their last 6. They've had two off days prior to this game and we feel as if they'll be the fresher team in this one. The Penguins have played well lately, winning six of seven, buoyed by the return of Crosby. However, they are coming off some grueling games of late, losing 4-1 to Boston, a hard-fought 2-1 battle against Detroit and then a come from behind win against the same Boston team. This game will be their fourth game in six nights and as they head into the break, we believe they'll be fatigued and have one foot out the door. Give me the home side in this matchup and let's cash an NHL ticket before the All-Star break. |
01-20-20 | Panthers v. Wild UNDER 6.5 | 5-4 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 6 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #011/012. Take Under in Florida vs Minnesota (Monday @ 8:00 pm) As per your selection on the Under, you have two teams coming into this matchup playing some great hockey and on winning streaks. The wild have won 2 straight and outside a 7-0 win over Dallas in their last game (where they scored three PP goals), they've played under the total in six of their last eight games. The Wild play tight defense and we don't see that changing tonight on home ice. As for the Panthers, they come off a 4-1 win in Detroit and as they have to play a B2B tonight and tomorrow before the break, we don't see them being able to score four goals in this spot against a solid Wild team. The Under has hit in 4 of the Panthers last 5 road games and is 8-1 in their last 9 when their opponent gives up 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Wild love playing to the Under, as they are 7-2-1 to the under in their last 10 home games, and 14-4-3 to the under in their last 21 when scoring 5+ goals. |
01-18-20 | Golden Knights -120 v. Canadiens | 4-5 | Loss | -120 | 8 h 22 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #069. Take Vegas -125 over Montreal (Saturday at 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Vegas, we believe this is a great spot for them to get their second win in a row under new coach DeBoer as they take on a HAbs side that is playing their third game in four nights and that is banged up and will ultimately be fatigued by the end of this one. Vegas got the wakeup call it needed in their loss to Buffalo which got Gallant fired and you have to believe they come out in this game after beating the Sens and go 2-0 in Canada. Montreal is coming off a win against Philly, but the Flyers are banged up at every position and that win was more about what Philly couldn't do as opposed to how Montreal played. We are going to take the better team in this one, who owns an 11-9-3 away record against a 9-12-4 home record for the HAbs. Take Vegas and enjoy another nice NHL winner! |
01-16-20 | Coyotes v. Canucks -109 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #052. Take Vancouver over Arizona (Thursday at 10:00 pm) As per your selection on Vancouver, this is a great spot for the Canucks to get back in the win column and continue to play some great hockey. The Canucks have won seven of their last 10 games, and despite losing their last game 4-0 to the Jets, they dominated that game putting up 40 shots to Winnipeg 25, but they went 0-4 on the PP. Now they return home where they own a 14-5-3 record and face an Arizona team that has been inconsistent at best over their last 10 games (5-4-1 record). The Canucks are 5-0 in their last five games as home favorites and they are 6-1 in their last 7 vs the Western Conference. The Coyotes are just 1-4 in their last 5 road games and 11-23-1 in the last 35 meetings in Vancouver. This has Vancouver win written all over it. |
01-14-20 | Stars v. Avalanche -131 | 3-2 | Loss | -131 | 9 h 24 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #022. Take Colorado over Dallas (Tuesday at 9:00 pm). As per your selection on Colorado, we believe this is a great spot for them to do well and snap their three-game losing streak. You have yo believe that the urgency level is high for the Avs after blowing a lead in the third in their last loss to Pittsburgh. They've since had three full days off to stew over that and get some practice in and we believe that'll be the difference here tonight against a Stars team who we faded in their last game against the Sharks. This will be the Stars fourth game on a four-game road trip and we expect them to have one foot out the door against this high-powered Colorado attack. What's even better is the fact that the Avs have revenge on their side as well as they've already lost three games this season to Dallas and they will not want to lose the season series 4-0. The Avs get the win behind a good home crowd and we cash another hockey ticket! |
01-13-20 | Flames -103 v. Canadiens | 0-2 | Loss | -103 | 6 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #069. Take Calgary -110 over Montreal (Monday at 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Calgary, are we sure Montreal should be favored in this game? They have one win in their last 9 games and that came against a team just as bad, if not worse than them (Ottawa). Now they have to take on a Calgary team that is loaded with talent and that has played great hockey over the last week or so, winning five straight games and seven of their last 10. The Flames also have revenge on their side tonight as they were beaten at home by Montreal back in December. The Habs are still loaded with injuries to key players and we just don't see them keeping up with the highly skilled Flames team. |
01-12-20 | Maple Leafs -115 v. Panthers | 4-8 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 58 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #059. Take Toronto over Florida (Sunday at 7:00 pm) Great 7* winner last night as we hit San Jose as a +110 underdog. Let's keep the momentum rolling today! As per your selection on Toronto, normally this is a trip where they lay an egg and disappoint backers. Well this trip is different seeing as how it's just one game in Florida after three days off and before returning home for a three-game homestand. The Leafs know they can ill afford to let their losing streak reach three games and as such will have ample motivation and hunger to get both points against a team in Florida that's chasing them in the standings. The Panthers have been inconsistent at best this year and they've alternated wins and losses over their last seven games. We like how the Leafs have been playing under Keefe and we expect them to be too fast and too skilled for the Panthers to handle. |
01-11-20 | Stars v. Sharks +116 | 1-2 | Win | 116 | 8 h 28 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #050. Take San Jose +110 over Dallas (Saturday @ 10:30 pm). As per your selection on San Jose, we like this spot for them to get a much-needed win and push their win streak to two games. The Sharks have played some extremely tough competition of late, losing to St. Louis and Washington before beating Columbus in their latest home game. After this contest with the Stars, they embark on another three-game road trip so this game is imperative so they leave on a good note. The Stars have been on fire lately, but as they have won 6 straight, the last three wins have come against terrible teams in Detroit, LA Kings, and Anaheim. This is going to be Dallas' third game in four nights and San Jose is an extremely tough place to get a win. The Sharks are a great bet as an underdog and we'll take them on home ice to get the win. |
01-09-20 | Oilers +117 v. Canadiens | 4-2 | Win | 117 | 8 h 38 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #005. Take Edmonton over Montreal (Thursday at 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Edmonton, we saw how good they can be in their latest win against the Leafs. When Edmonton is going good they are scoring goals and that's exactly what we believe they will do here tonight against a Montreal team that is brutal right now and can't score any goals. Montreal has lost 7 straight and it's not looking good for them moving forward as they still have plenty of injuries to their key guys and are relying on the youth to keep them in touch with a playoff spot. The reality is they are closer to the bottom of the standings than a playoff spot, so it's only a matter of time before they blow the whole team up. Edmonton has won two straight games overall and has gone 7-2-1 vs the Habs in the last 10 games. We'll take the Oilers and the Draisaitl/McDavid combo over anyone the Habs can throw out to try and shut them down. |
01-08-20 | Capitals -119 v. Flyers | 2-3 | Loss | -119 | 9 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #069. Take Washington over Philadelphia (Wednesday at 7:30 pm) As per your selection on Washington, we have no issues backing them tonight despite them playing the second half a B2B. The Caps dominated Ottawa last night and salted out to a 6-1 win and now get to take on a Philly squad who right now is playing just as bad as the Sens as they are on a four-game losing streak. The Flyers return home after an 1-4 road trip (lost last 4), and they also played last night in Carolina and despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first, they faded down the stretch and were lucky to force OT as they scored 4 goals on 20 shots (that's poor goaltending). The Caps have dominated this series of late, winning 7 of the last 10 meetings and with the Caps playing extremely well, especially on the road (17-5-1), we'll look for them to extend their winning streak tonight to four games. Take Washington. |
01-07-20 | Bruins -113 v. Predators | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 11 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #059. Take Boston over Nashville (Tuesday at 8:00 pm) As per your selection on Boston, this is the ideal spot for them to bust out of their three-game losing streak and get back in the win column before returning home to take on the Jets on Jan 9. The Bruins have been tough-luck losers in two of the three losses, losing once in a shootout and once in overtime. Now they have had an extra 2 days of rest to prepare for a Nashville team that is a mess right now, and as this is a road game with extra prep, we expect the Bruins to come out focused and hungry for the win. Nashville is in a bit of a precarious spot as they went 1-3 on a four-game road trip, which led to the firing of their coach, now they return home with one day rest, before hitting the road again for another week. With the distraction of firing the coach, and now the pressure of playing at home and performing, this is a tough spot for the Preds and we are going to continue to fade them until they show something positive. |
01-06-20 | Jets +128 v. Canadiens | 3-2 | Win | 128 | 8 h 43 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #041. Take Winnipeg +130 over Montreal (Monday @ 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Winnipeg, we aren't falling for the ?Montreal is due' trap since they are at home and can't possibly lose six straight games. Excuse me, have you seen the Habs play? They have zero offense (4 goals in last three games), they have a poor home record (8-9-1 on home ice) and they sit in the bottom third in the league in goals allowed per game. We know the Jets have lost two straight but you can excuse those losses as they were to two hot teams in the Leafs and Wild, and now they get to continue their road trip in Canada, against a Habs side they owe some revenge to after a 6-2 drubbing in their last meeting against the Habs. The Jets are the play tonight and at an underdog price, we are all over them. |
01-05-20 | Lightning +117 v. Hurricanes | 3-1 | Win | 117 | 6 h 46 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #029. Take Tampa Bay over Carolina (Sunday at 5:05 pm) As per your selection on Tampa Bay, we feel that they are the better team and as they come into this game on a dixx-game winning streak, they are playing some great hockey right now whereas the Hurricanes are struggling losers of four of their last six games. We know Tampa is playing the second game of a B2B but we don't mind it as the travel wasn't that far and the competition (Ottawa) is like having a practice. The Lightning have also been dominating in this series as they've won 7 of the last 10 meetings and we expect them to continue that trend tonight. |
01-02-20 | Panthers -138 v. Senators | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 51 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #061. Take Florida over Ottawa (Thursday at 7:35 pm) As per your selection on Florida, this is a great spot for them to bounce back and get a win against an Ottawa team that has been playing terrible hockey of late, losing two straight and five of their last seven games. Look, the Panthers started off their four-game road trip with a 4-1 loss at Columbus in a game that marked the return of Bobrovsky to Columbus. The team played poorly and coach Q called them out and demanded that they move forward and focus on the next game. Florida has been typically been a good play on team after a loss as they bounce-back quick and typically score a boatload of goals. Starting a road trip 0-2 is not something the Panthers will want and we expect their best effort to get both points in this contest. |
01-01-20 | Predators v. Stars -115 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 43 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #050. Take Dallas over Nashville (Wednesday at 2:05 pm). As per your selection on Dallas, you have to like the way the Stars come into this game, winners of two straight against two good teams in Colorado and Arizona. The Stars are one of the best defensive teams in the league, ranking second in goals against per game with just 2.48. In an outdoor game, which are typically low scoring, you need to back a team that can play good defense as the play is typically sloppy and choppy because of the ice and elements. Nashville has had a tough go lately, losing B2B games against Pitss while giving up 11 goals in the process. We'll take the "home team" and the team in better form heading into this game to help us cash a ticket. |
12-31-19 | Canadiens v. Hurricanes -164 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #032. Take Carolina over Montreal (Tuesday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we like them to get a good win in this spot as they are coming off a good win against Washington and now get to stay home with two days of rest and take on a Montreal team that's been leaking goals of late, losing three of their last four while giving up 15 goals in the process. This is also Montreal's last game on their seven-game road trip and as is natural, they are anxious to get home and start the New Year with a three-game homestand. Carolina has been great at home this year posting an 11-6 record and with rest, and the home crowd behind them, we'll back Carolina to get us this win and cash our ticket. |
12-28-19 | Coyotes v. Golden Knights -135 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 34 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #071. Take Vegas -135 over Arizona (Saturday at 10:05 pm). We are still traveling for the holidays so no time for a lengthy write up. As per your selection on Vegas, we believe this is a great spot for them out of the break to snap their two-game losing streak against an Arizona team that has alternated wins and losses since Dec 5. Arizona figures to come crashing back down to earth in the back half of the season as they are playing well above their pay grade and as Vegas has such a good home-ice advantage, we'll take the better goalie and better overall team to get the win tonight and cash a ticket for us. |
12-27-19 | Kings v. Sharks -140 | 3-2 | Loss | -140 | 12 h 41 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #054. Take San Joses -145 over Los Angeles (Friday at 10:05 pm). We are still traveling for the holidays so no time for a lengthy write up. We believe this is a great spot for the Sharks to get a much-needed win out of the break to snap a three-game losing skid. The Sharks have been done in by three good teams in their losses and now get to take on a LA team who has also lost three straight and that is among th worst teams in the league in offensive and defensive categories. The Sharks will feed off the home ice energy and w'ell take them at a short price to continue their 7-2-1 dominance of the Kings over the last 10 meetings. |
12-23-19 | Canadiens v. Jets -118 | 6-2 | Loss | -118 | 9 h 8 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #024. Take Winnipeg over Montreal (Monday at 8:05 pm) As per your selection on the Winnipeg Jets, we believe they are in a great spot to return home after a good 6-0 win against Minnesota and extend their winning streak to 2 games. They take on a Montreal team who is coming off a hard-fought 4-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers and will be thinking of the Christmas break as they are in the middle of a 7 game road trip as they head to Florida for two games and Carolina to end the year. The Habs are among the worst teams in terms of goals allowed per game and PK% which we believe the Jets will exploit on home ice. Look for Winnipeg to dominate the play and skate away to a good win before the break. |
12-21-19 | Lightning v. Capitals +101 | 1-3 | Win | 101 | 7 h 30 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #066. Take Washington over Tampa Bay (Saturday @ 7:05 pm) As per your selection on the Washington Capitals, we have no issues backing them on the second half of B2B nights as they are the better team in this matchup and will be amped up to get home and take on a good Tampa team. Washington owns a great 9-3-4 home record and already dispatched of Tampa just last week by a score of 5-2. Tampa has been extremely inconsistent this year, going 5-4-1 in their last 10 games after tying the NHL record last year in wins. There could also be a few issues lingering for the Bolts as they benched their star player Kucherov for a turnover and lack of effort. This is a tough spot for them as they are playing just their second road game since Dec 3, and we don't think they'll be up to the task tonight. Washington wins this one and sweeps the series vs the Bolts. |
12-19-19 | Kings v. Blue Jackets -142 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 26 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #032 (5Dimes). Take Columbus -145 over Los Angeles (Thursday @ 7:05 pm). As per your selection on the Columbus Blue Jackets, we like the spot they are in and we believe they are going to win this game at home to push their home record to 10-8-1. The Jackets come into this game winner of two straight and now get to take on a Kings team who is on the tail end of a 6 game road trip as this is their fifth game. We know LA is thinking about getting home and after an emotional win against Boston last time out, we believe they will be due for a letdown against a pesky Columbus team. The Kings are just 9-24 in their last 33 vs the Eastern Conference and 7-18 in their last 18 Thursday games. The Jackets are 23-10 in their last 33 Thursday games and the favorite in this matchup is 21-6 over the last 27 H2H'S. Take Columbus. |
12-17-19 | Hurricanes v. Jets +109 | 6-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 46 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #014. Take Winnipeg over Carolina (Tuesday at 8:05 pm) As per your selection on Winnipeg, it appears the Jets have regained their form of two years ago when they went to the Western Conference Finals. The Jets are going for their six straight victory at home and we believe they get it as they come off a great 7-3 win and now have momentum heading into tonight's game. The Hurricanes are on the tail end of a 5 game road trip and they've just beat a good Calgary team 4-0. We don't believe they can pay two perfect games in a row which is why we side with the Jets in this one. |
12-17-19 | Ducks +125 v. Flyers | 1-4 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 47 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #001. Take Anaheim over Philadelphia (Tuesday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Anaheim, we believe this is a great spot for the Ducks to win their second game in a row against a Philly team that is banged up through injuries and that has lost three straight. The Ducks are off a 4-3 win against the Rangers and are rested having not played since Dec 14. Philly lost all three games on their western road trip giving up 14 goals while scoring just 5. Now they return home and we don't see them getting back in the win column. |
12-16-19 | Avalanche +102 v. Blues | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 18 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #071. Take Colorado over St. Louis (Monday at 8:05 pm) As per your selection on Colorado, we feel that this is a great spot for them to do well as they come into this matchup with the Blues well-rested and riding a solid two-game winning streak. The Avs have also won 8 of their last nine games and we feel that as they get healthy they are going to be one of the top teams in the league (if they aren't already). We like the fact that the Avs have had 2 days off to rest up for this game and this game marks the start of a two-game Central road trip, so we know they want to start the trip off on a winning note. As for St. Louis, they are in the middle of a four-game homestand and as they come off a 4 goal comeback in their last game against Chicago, we can see a little complacency set in and they may not have a full effort tonight. We know Colorado is a great road team and we believe they will get the job done once again tonight. |
12-12-19 | Hurricanes -105 v. Canucks | 0-1 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 56 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #019. Take Carolina over Vancouver (Thursday at 10:05 pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we believe this is a great spot for them to extend their winning streak to four games against a Vancouver team that's been mediocre at best over the last two weeks and have give up 9 goals over their last two games. Vancouver games may be fun to watch for the neutral fan but they hardly play any defense and we are going to exploit that tonight by backing a Carolina team that's scored 6 goals in back to back games and are among the top-10 in the league in all offense categories as well as defensive categories. This is also a letdown spot for the Canucks who vied their last game against a fellow Canadian team a big test in which they ultimately failed. Carolina gets another win tonight and we extend our NHL run to 4 straight winners. |
12-11-19 | Bruins v. Capitals -122 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 14 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #066. Take Washington over Boston (Wednesday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Washington, we feel as if this is a great spot for Washington to get back int he win column after losing their last game 5-2 to a Columbus team that always plays the Caps tough. Now they get to take on a Bruins team that is on the decline as of right now, losers of three straight and having given up 13 goals during that span. We know Washington's strength is putting the puck in the back of the net as they sit third in the league in goals scored per game and shooting percentage. Boston is in the middle game of a four-game road trip and has to travel to Tampa Bay for a division showdown tomorrow. Washington is the fresher of the two teams having just played twice since they've only had one game between Dec 6 and tonight. Give us Washington on home ice to continue our winning ways on the ice. |
12-10-19 | Maple Leafs -113 v. Canucks | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 11 h 37 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #061. Take Toronto over Vancouver (Tuesday at 10:05 pm) As per your selection on Toronto, we feel as if this is a great spot for them to do well as they come into this game full of confidence after beating the defending Cup champs 5-2 in what was arguably their best game of the season. We know the Leafs have been inconsistent of late, but there comes a point where one game can turn the season around and we feel as if the Leafs know that their Saturday win would have been for nothing if they don't follow it up with a win vs a team they should beat. The Canucks are a good young team and are coming off a sloppy defensive game where they gave up 5 to Buffalo in an eventual 6-5 Ot win. Nonetheless, the Leafs will want to get their western road trip started on a winning note and should show some urgency to get both points in this game. |
12-07-19 | Wild v. Hurricanes OVER 5.5 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #007/008. Take Over 5.5 Goals (-110) - Minnesota vs Carolina. (Saturday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the over in this spot, we feel as if this is a great spot to ride the Wild's momentum and bank on them scoring a few goals against a Carolina team who has been inconsistent over their last handful of games. The Wild just put up five on a great Tampa team and have extended their win streak to five games. We see them bagging at least three more goals tonight while the Hurricanes will want to also put on a show for their home crowd and we see them bagging a few goals themselves tonight. We love the fact that this game is at 5.5 as we can easily see a 4-2 game. Let's get this win and add to our NHL totals this weekend! |
11-30-19 | Jets +102 v. Kings | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 2 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #083. Take Winnipeg over Los Angeles (Saturday at 10:05 pm) As per your selection on Winnipeg, we have no problem going back to the well with the Jets as they come into this game winner of last night's game 3-0 vs Anaheim. They played extremely well in that game and have been playing good hockey overall as they are 8-2 in their last 10 games. The Kings also played last night and lost 4-1 to the Sharks so they don't have the benefit of being rested for this one. Winnipeg has owned the season series over the Kings of late and we'll take them on Saturday to continue their winning ways. |
11-27-19 | Maple Leafs -205 v. Red Wings | 6-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show
2-Unit Play. #013. Take Toronto over Detroit (Wednesday at 7:05 pm) I know this juice is a little high, but Toronto will not lose this game. They've played extremely good hockey since Keefe took over and now get to face a Red Wings team that has lost six straight and has scored just 1 goal in their last two games. Toronto's skill guys will feast tonight and the Leafs will skate out to an easy win. |
11-27-19 | Flames v. Sabres +108 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 21 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #018. Take Buffalo over Calgary (Wednesday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Buffalo, we are going to keep this short and sweet. Calgary will not be focused on this game as they are undergoing a circus thanks to their coach using racist words in the past. He won't even be behind the bench for the Flames and that'll just add to their misery as they Flames have just one win in their last eight games. Buffalo is a good home team (6-3-2) and will be able to get a much-needed win. |
11-26-19 | Wild v. Devils -133 | 3-2 | Loss | -133 | 8 h 10 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #002. Take New Jersey over Minnesota (Tuesday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on New Jersey, we believe they are in a great spot to do well here and ultimately win back to back games for the first time since Nov 15/16. The Devils played extremely well last time out against Detroit, winning the game 5-1 and ultimately dominating the game for the full 60 minutes. Now they are rested and get to take on a Minnesota team who has lost two straight Road games in overtime, and are playing on back-to-back nights and have been a terrible bet lately as they've lost three of their last five games. Minnesota is one of the slowest teams in the league and the Devils have enough team speed to exploit that weakness. We like the goaltending matchup too and the Wild are poor away from home posting just 4 wins in 16 tries. New Jersey builds some momentum and gets another win at home. |
11-25-19 | Sharks -123 v. Kings | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 36 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #081. Take San Jose over Los Angeles (Monday at 10:35 pm) As per your selection on San Jose, we believe they are in a great spot tonight to do well and pick up another win. Look, the Sharks started the season out extremely poorly but are now back above .500 and they've won 8 of their last 10 games. They've been out west for the last for their last four games and will continue to be there straight through until December 5. This is a time in the season when they need to start grabbing as many points as possible to put themselves into the position they thought they'd be in earlier this season. The Kings, on the other hand, are a bad hockey team. They are slow and lack any scoring depth. They rank 28th in goals per game and 29th on the PP, while also ranked 27th in goals allowed and 30th on the PK. San Jose is the better team and they are going to win this game. |
11-23-19 | Red Wings v. Devils -147 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #040. Take New Jersey over Detroit (Saturday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on New Jersey, we believe they are in a great spot to do well tonight as they should be pissed about last night's loss to Pittsburgh and should be able to bounce back against a bad Detroit team. The Red Wings are on a bit of a downward spiral as they've lost four straight games and have a poor away record, posting a 3-8-2 mark. The Devils have been outclassed by Pitts and Boston in their last two losses, but that's nothing to be ashamed of. In front of their home crowd, the Devils will come away with a much-needed win. |
11-22-19 | Rangers +101 v. Senators | 1-4 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #029. Take New York over Ottawa (Friday at 7:35 pm) As per your selection on New York, we believe they are in a great spot to do well tonight as they come in off an impressive win against the Capitals and we believe that momentum will carry over into tonight's game against an OK Send team. The rangers can't afford to take this game lightly as they are hovering just above .500 despite playing to a 6-3-1 record over their last 10 games. The Rangers have gotten good offensive production from their main guys to go with a little bit of depth scoring and some timely goaltending. Ottawa, on the other hand, has won two straight road games but now return home after winning a very intense game against their rivals from Montreal. This is a great spot for the Rangers to jump on them and early and often and get another much-needed win. |
11-19-19 | Islanders v. Penguins -125 | 5-4 | Loss | -125 | 2 h 48 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #046. Take Pittsburgh -130 over New York (Tuesday at 7:05 pm). Since we were off Monday and Tuesday because of light cards, we looked ahead and did extensive research on these three games in order to get back on track. We believe these three games are the best bets on the board and we look to capitalize on all three. |
11-16-19 | Flames +100 v. Coyotes | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 41 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #007. Take Calgary over Arizona (Saturday at 4:05 pm) As per your selection on Calgary, we believe they are the better team and come into this game in a great spot to play on them. They lost a tough one three nights ago to Dallas and now embark on a mini two game road trip where they should be able to win both games to get back on positive ground. The Arizona Coyotes return home after a 2-1 road trip but this will be their fourth game in six nights and fatigue was starting to show in their loose to Minnesota on Nov. 14. An angle we like to play is to fade a team coming home off a road trip as they likely are tired and just happy to be home. Calgary is the more rested team and will take advantage of the situation tonight. Take Calgary as we cash our NHL ticket for Saturday! |
11-15-19 | Bruins v. Maple Leafs -110 | 4-2 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 59 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #068. Take Toronto over Boston (Friday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Toronto, we feel that this is a great spot for them to rebound and bust out of their three-game losing streak. They have played well for spurts over those three games, but ultimately fell short in all of them by a single goal. We know the pressure is on them to perform well and you just had the GM come out and publicly say everyone needs to be better and find a way to get back to playing the kind of hockey they are capable of. This is a CRUCIAL spot for them as this is their only home game for the next two weeks as they leave right after the game to begin a 6 game road trip. These two points will set the tone for the road trip and we believe they are more valuable to Toronto than to Boston, who sit atop the Atlantic division. That's not to say Boston is going to want to win the game, but they are dealing with several injury issues with key guys out and outside of the top line with Pastrnak and Marchand, the depth scoring is non existent and the defensive side of the game has also taken a hit. Good spot for Toronto to catch the Bruins coming in with issues and we'll be on them for a nice hockey winner. |
11-13-19 | Capitals v. Flyers +103 | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 49 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #042. Take Philadelphia over Boston (Wednesday at 7:35 pm) As per your selection on Philadelphia, we believe this is a spot for them to do well at home against a good team in Washington. Philly has played extremely good hockey over the last two weeks, winning four straight over some good hockey teams. Now they get to take on a Washington team with an extra bit of rest, as Washington comes in having played Monday and losing to Arizona - a game in which they should have been down 5-0 instead of forcing OT and losing 4-3. They looked sloppy defensively and in a tough building to play like the Philly Barn, Philly should be able to pressure them into turnovers and ultimately bury a few of their chances. Carter Hart has played extremely well lately, winning his last four starts. He's starting to come around and as he goes so do the Flyers. Let's take a shot with the home dog tonight and enjoy a nice winner. |
11-12-19 | Oilers +124 v. Sharks | 3-6 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 32 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #033. Take Edmonton over San Jose (Tuesday at 10:35 pm) As per your selection on Edmonton, we have no problem going back to the well with them as they come into this game, winners of two straight and playing some great hockey. It helps that they have the best player on the planet wearing their colors in Connor McDavid and perhaps another top-5 player in the league in Draisaitl. They get to face a Sharks team tonight who has won three straight but still sit in the bottom five in the league in goals per game and goals allowed per game. Whereas the Oilers are mid-pack in goals scored and 5th best in the league in goals allowed. We don't see any red flags to not warrant a bet on the better team in this matchup especially at a price as juicy as this one. It's going to be a battle but ultimately Edmonton will prevail. |
11-12-19 | Coyotes v. Blues -158 | 3-2 | Loss | -158 | 9 h 1 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #028. Take St. Louis over Arizona (Tuesday at 8:05 pm) As per your selection on St. Louis, this is more of a fade of Arizona on back to back nights. Arizona was lucky to come away with the win last night against Washington as they blew a 3-0 lead and then were lucky enough to have Washington's OT winner called back. They were outplayed the entire game and if Washington had played their No.1 goalie, they would have ran away with the game. The Blues are rolling right now having won 7 straight and we look for them to make it 8 straight on home ice tonight. |
11-10-19 | Oilers +109 v. Ducks | 6-2 | Win | 109 | 10 h 42 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #013. Take Edmonton +105 over Anaheim (Sunday at 9:05 pm). We are traveling today so no time for a lengthy write-up. We like the Oilers here as they come off a perfect 60 minutes of hockey against NJ and we like that momentum to carry over into this crucial division game. The Ducks have been a good surprise this season but they give up a ton of shots and scoring chances and we expect Edmonton's talent to be able to win this game for them. Take Edmonton as a small dog. |
11-09-19 | Golden Knights v. Capitals UNDER 6.5 | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 33 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #070. Take Under in Goals - Vegas vs Washington (-110) (Friday at 7:05 pm). As per your selection on the Under here in this spot, we like both teams to really bring their A-game tonight in this showdown and when that happens generally the game tends to go under the number. Vegas is among the top-10 in terms of PK and goals allowed per game, while Washington is 6th on the PK and their ridiculous 13% shooting percentage simply can't be sustained. We also like the goaltending matchup in this one as we are getting both team's No.1 and Vegas has played to the under in two straight games. Great spot to go against the public here and take the under. |
11-07-19 | Canucks v. Blackhawks +118 | 2-5 | Win | 118 | 10 h 48 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #040. Take Chicago over Vancouver (Thursday at 8:35 pm) As per your selection on Chicago, this is a spot where we like them to do well against a Vancouver team that has been playing over their heads the last week or so. Chicago is desperate for a win and they will be playing this as their first home game since October 27, so they will be pumped to play in front of their home fans. Vancouver, on the other hand, is coming off a very tough 2-1 loss to St.Louis and now has to travel across the country to a rink they almost never win in. Chicago is fully healthy for this matchup and we believe they will get out to an early lead and never let it go. |
11-07-19 | Canadiens v. Flyers -111 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 19 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #028. Take Philadelphia over Montreal (Thursday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Philly, we like the spot they are in tonight at home as they get to take on a Montreal team that is coming off an emotional rivalry game vs Boston. Now MTL has to get back on the road after completing a three-game road trip and we just don't see them getting up for this game vs Philly. Philly is the more desperate of the two teams and we'll take them tonight to get us the win. |
11-05-19 | Wild v. Ducks -116 | 4-2 | Loss | -116 | 11 h 54 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #022. Take Anaheim over Minnesota (Tuesday at 10:05 pm) As per your selection on Anaheim, we are strictly fading the Minnesota Wild in this spot as they have once again come crashing back down to earth, losing three straight games after winning three of four prior to that. The Wild still can't score very many goals and now they have to embark on a four-game western road trip - a trip they've not fared well on in the past. Anaheim, despite losing 3-2 in OT last game, has still played well, winning three of the last five games while scoring plenty of goals. They are in the middle of their seven-game homestand which they are 2-1 and we expect them to collect another home win tonight against a very poor Minnesota team. |
11-05-19 | Hurricanes v. Flyers +104 | 1-4 | Win | 104 | 8 h 55 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #002. Take Philadelphia over Carolina (Tuesday at 7:05 pm) As per your selection on Philly, they were unlucky not to win on Saturday against Toronto as they completely dominated the play for the last 50 minutes but couldn't quite pull away and put the game to bed. Now they get to bounce back against a Carolina team coming off a loss against NJ in a game where they looked tired and got poor goaltending. Sometimes that's contagious and with Philly desperate to string some wins together to move away from the .500 mark, this spot sets up well for Philly to do well. |
11-04-19 | Senators v. Rangers -153 | 6-2 | Loss | -153 | 8 h 19 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #066 Take New York Rangers (-165) over Ottawa (Monday at 7:05 pm). As per your selection on New York, we don't normally like to lay this much juice in a hockey game, but this is the best spot on the board and we will take advantage of it. Look, the Rangers are just flat out the better team with the better goaltender. They've won two straight games - impressively - beating the Lightning and Predators. Now they get to return home to take on a Senators team that has lost six of their last eight games and give up a boatload of goals in the process. There isn't much to like about the Sens as they are among the bottom six in the league in goals per game and dead last on the PP at just 4.8 percent. Defensively they also rank in the bottom third of the league in goals allowed and shots allowed, while taking nearly 12 minutes of penalties per game (30th). The Rangers need to start stringing wins together if they want to get back in the thick of things and beating a terrible Ottawa team is a good way to collect another two points for the season. |
11-02-19 | Maple Leafs -130 v. Flyers | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #039. Take Toronto over Philadelphia (Saturday at 7:05 pm). As per your selection on Toronto, we have no problem going against Philadelphia even tho they won us our play last night vs NJ. This is essentially put up or shut up time for the Leafs as they had a brutal October and now the calendar flips and they need to start stringing together wins. They may get a big boost in the lineup with their captain John Tavares potentially returning to action here tonight. We believe the goaltending matchup favors the Leafs as the Flyers haven't gotten good goaltending at all this season. And for all the talk about the Leafs playing in B2B's vs rested teams the second night, Philly played last night while the Leafs have been resting for three days. There's no excuses for this team not to come out and dominate right from puck drop. They definitely have more talent on their roster and it's a good spot for them to start the month of November off with a win. |
