We have reached week16 of the NFL season and for teams trying to make the playoffs, it is crunch time. In this game it’s a huge cross conference matchup when the Pittsburgh Steelers make the trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to take on the New Orleans Saints.

The visiting team has won the last two games played between the two teams.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t lived up to their expectations this season but they still come into this game off a big win over the New England Patriots.
The offense wasn’t great but the defense stepped up in a big way giving up only ten points to the Patriots and that was enough to get a victory.
In the three games before that it was the defense that really let them down and led to the losses so it’s a good sign that the defense was strong.

One thing to watch in this game is the kicking game for the Steelers. Chris Boswell has missed a lot of kicks this year and it’s going to be troublesome if the Steelers have this game come down to a kick.
Don’t be surprised if the game is close that they don’t trust the kicker and decide to go for it. Hopefully for the Steelers that doesn’t cost them in this game.
New Orleans Saints
On the other side of this matchup is the New Orleans Saints who didn’t look great in their last game against the Carolina Panthers but a win is a win and now they are in good shape to take home field throughout the playoffs.
There has to be some concern about the way the offense has been shut down in a couple of games lately and the last few games need to be used to figure out the offensive issues.
On the season the Saints are averaging 34.4 points per game and they have so many weapons they can spread the ball around to.
At home they are even better averaging 38 points per game and over 423.7 yards per game. In this game that offense is going to need to get the same type of offensive production.

Look for the Saints to really try and pour it in on this game. They need to try and run up the score and get this into a shootout.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Saints -6
I think the Saints offense is going to run up the score.
NFL Free Week 16 Score Prediction: Saints 31 – Steelers 20
The Steelers won’t have any chance to keep this game, and I think the Saints should have no issue winning this game and covering the spread.
