In a match up that has major playoff indications, the Kansas City Chiefs travel to the Georgia Dome to take on the Atlanta Falcons.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are coming off a key win over a division rival, the Denver Broncos. In what was a low scoring defensive affair, Cairo Santos kicked the game winning field goal in overtime to give the Chiefs a 30-27 win.

Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons offense is elite. Some experts are comparing it to the 2000 Rams, also known as the greatest show on turf. Playing in the Georgia Dome this could be the second coming of the greatest show on turf.
The Falcons are coming off of a dominating performance over a good Cardinals team, in which they won 38-19.
QB Matt Ryan is leading the the teams offense again, and after a couple down years and people questioning if it was time to move on from him, he has proven he is still in his prime.
He has thrown for 3516 yards and 26 touchdowns. He has only thrown 6 interceptions on his way to a 114.3 passer rating.
The Falcons rushing attack is led by Devonta Freeman. He has rushed for 729 yards on the ground and 5 touchdowns. He also has 33 receptions for 269 yards and two touchdowns.
Tevin Coleman is also a huge part of the Falcons offense and although he is the backup to Freeman, he could be a starter on most teams.
Julio Jones is one of the best receivers in the NFL. He has 1140 yards and five touchdowns receiving. Mohamed Sanu, the big free agent acquisition for the Falcons has also lived up to the hype.
He has 495 yards receiving and five touchdowns on the season.

The defense is a different story. It’s a very young group that has had it’s growing pains through the season. The Falcons have given up 27.5 points per game.
The defense however has looked better the last three games. Over those games they have only given up 23.7 points.
The D is lead by Vic Beasley Jr. who leads the team with 9.5 sacks. He has been a very bright spot in what otherwise has been a defense that has struggled.
