But the Raiders man, wow. They are bad bad and probably need to move on from Carr at this point. But either way it was an impressive comeback by the young cats and they head into this battle with Jags as massive underdogs.
I don’t give them much of a chance if any in this one, except, the Titans did just put out tape on how you can slow down the Chiefs by running the ball. The Jags don’t have King Henry but Etienne is starting to show what a stud he is.
The Chiefs is the Chiefs though. And they continue to prove it in all the big moments time and time again.
I turned the Titans game off and started watching a show to my dismay, because I missed the most recent episode of Mahomes Magic. The guy is just a freak of a quarterback and you should always watch him when he plays,
So, this is likely a blowout and Vegas is looking for points in this one given the total. But let’s look and see if there’s a path towards a Jags upset.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jags offensive stats are really not that bad at all. If Trevor could clean up his turnovers this team would likely have a better record honestly.
A lot of his picks have come at awful moments too like on the goal line about to punch one in. But this team is 8th in the league in yards per game with over 367, and 9th in 3rd down conversion success.
It’s not bad at all, I like this team’s offence especially as Etienne is seemingly hitting his stride.
They’re also not bad at all on defence either. They rank well in most team metrics and allow touchdowns in the red zone far less often than the Vikings and other top teams.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are a wagon no doubt but in this section I wanna talk about how goddamn bad their defence is. They don’t do anything on that side of the ball well right now.
The Kansas City Chiefs really remind of the Oilers. I watch both teams closely and if you were to compare two teams across sports in North America these two would be it.
Can put points on the board at will, and they need to because they can’t keep them off the board to save their lives.
The Chiefs are 20th in the league in points allowed to opponents per game with 23.6, 20th in the league in yards per game allowed to opponents with 351.5, and 30TH! That’s right, 30th in the league in red zone trips that result in touchdowns for opponents at 70.37%.
That is abysmal. Not sure what’s really going on with that, their personnel isn’t a bunch of world beaters but they aren’t terrible either.
If it’s a scheme thing they need to get it corrected right quick because once again they will come up short against the Bills or even the Bengals when it counts.
How does that pertain to this game though? Well the Jags are moving the ball well right now and so this spread seems a little heavy for me.

The weather becomes an issue in Kansas City this time of year so be weary of that, Lawrence does not have a ton of experience playing in inclement weather. But regardless I like the Jags to keep this one closer than Vegas expects.
