Wake Forest enters 1-0 under Steve Forbes. The Demon Deacons opened their season with an 83-62 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore.
Vanderbilt has the ranking and home court, but Wake Forest isn’t coming to Nashville for sightseeing.
This is Wake Forest’s first true road test.

One night of easy baskets isn’t enough to convince me these teams deserve a total this high.
The danger is Vanderbilt turning turnovers into quick points. Wake Forest must avoid feeding that problem, particularly early when the home crowd gets involved.
I’m expecting the scoring to settle once the opening adrenaline wears off.
At this number, I’ll take my chances with the Under 154.5.
