My concern is Kentucky’s shooting. If the Wildcats start burying threes and turning Manhattan mistakes into easy baskets, this number could get uncomfortable.
I’m betting on Kentucky winning comfortably, not scoring enough points to cover both teams’ responsibilities.
The Jaspers are the key to this bet. If Manhattan gets stuck in the 50s or low 60s, Kentucky needs a monster offensive performance to beat us.
A lopsided second half could work in our favor, particularly if Pope starts using his bench and the possessions become less aggressive. I don’t need a defensive masterpiece, just a game that doesn’t turn into a layup drill.
Give Kentucky the victory. I’ll take my chances against the scoreboard getting completely out of hand. **Under 158.5** is where I’m putting my money.
