Bradley Beal is playing angry and showing teams why they should have voted him onto the All-Star team. Since returning from the break he is averaging 41.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.0 steals and shooting the 3-ball at a 41.4 percent efficiency.

In the win over the Golden State Warriors, it was almost a pedestrian effort given his two recent 50 point games. Beal delivered a 34 point, eight assists, and two rebound effort to lead Washington.
Davis Bertans came off the bench to register 29 points and hit eight 3-pointers with an 80 percent efficiency. Rookie Rui Hachimura (15) and Thomas Bryant were the only other double-figure scorers.
On the season Beal leads the team in scoring (30.1) and assists (6.4), Thomas Bryant for rebounds (7.3) and field goal percentage (59.0%). Shabazz Napier for steals (1.6) and Ian Mahinmi for blocks (1.2).
Other than John Wall (Achilles) who is out for the season the Wizards are finally healthy.
Sacramento Kings
On Sunday the Kings arrived at the arena late or at least it seemed like it as they allowed the Pistons to jump on them 31-16 in the first quarter.
They responded with a 34-20 second frame and 26-19 third quarter to ensure they got the win. The victory coupled with their five wins in their last six matches has moved ahead of the Spurs and Blazers and just behind the Pelicans in the chase pack for the eighth seed.
In the win, De’Aaron Fox led the way with 23 points, seven assists and three rebounds. Buddy Hield (19), Bogdan Bogdanovic (15), Harry Giles (12) and Harrison Barnes (10) were the other double-digit contributors.
On the season the team leaders are Buddy Hield for scoring (19.9) while De’Aaron Fox is top man for assists (7.0) and steals (1.5). Richaun Holmes leads the way for rebounding (8.5), field goal percentage (66.0%) and blocks (1.4).
Fox is dealing with right lower-abdominal tightness but is probable to play. Cory Joseph has a right heel contusion making him questionable for Tuesday.
Marvin Bagley III (foot) and Richaun Holmes (shoulder) are both expected to be out until mid-March.
The curious part of the injuries is Bagley and Giles never seem to stay healthy simultaneously and both have feasted when the other was out injured. If there is a realistic goal for the Kings it should be to get Bagley healthy and some minutes playing with Giles before season end.
