Friday, November 29 finds interconference foes the Washington Wizards tipping off versus the Los Angeles Lakers for their first meeting this season.
Last season, the teams met twice in the regular schedule with the clubs splitting the series each winning once. The Lakers hold the all-time record having bested the Wizards in 119 of their 193 matches.

The key difference was in the losses the Wizards were held under 106 points but versus the Suns, they broke free with 140 points.

C.J. Miles hurt his wrist versus the Nuggets and the injury will keep him out of action for the next two games minimum.
Ian Mahinmi (Achilles strain) is expected back in early December while John Wall is out for the season nursing his own Achilles injury.

The latest victim of the streak was Anthony Davis’ former club the New Orleans Pelicans who expressed their anger at their former superstar over how he left via a very loud reception of boos.
A scary moment occurred in the game when Josh Hart ran by Davis to grab a rebound hitting the star’s elbow who fell to the ground in pain, fortunately, he was able to return to finish the match.
The 41 points scored by Davis was a season-high as well as the highest by a former star in their inaugural return to their former club.
LA needed a 35-21 fourth quarter to capture the victory. LeBron James collected a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds and also hit the record books moving into fourth all-time scoring with 33,008 points.
The trio who sits in front of him are all former Lakers (at least at one point in their career) Kobe Bryant (33,643), Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387).
Kyle Kuzma (16) was the only other Lakers player to reach double-figure scoring. Despite the elbow injury Davis is expected to play Friday but Avery Bradley (leg) remains out until early December.
