Free Washington Wizards vs. Chicago Bulls NBA Prediction:
Wednesday, January 15th, the Washington Wizards face the Chicago Bulls in the clubs second meeting of the season. In the first contest, Chicago won a 110-109 overtime thriller.
Last season, the teams played four times with the Bulls winning three of the four matches. The Bulls hold the all-time record having bested the Wizards in 122 of their 227 matches
Washington Wizards
Video footage of John Wall playing five on five basketball today had pundits tongues wagging over what this meant for this season’s Wizards.
In truth, it means nothing because having Wall return at this stage in the season would cost the Wizards north of $30 million dollars that the insurance company will be covering this season.

This match marks a six of seven road game stretch for the Wizards who are 5-15 on the road.
In their last game, the Wizards lost to the Utah Jazz 127-116 in yet another example of the team being able to put up copious points and being unable to stop their opponent. Rather, it might be fairer to say they simply don’t defend.
Washington jumped on the Jazz winning the first quarter 34-23 but allowed Utah to take the third (38-25) and fourth (34-25) frames
Bradley Beal led his team with 25 points while Davis Bertans (18), Jordan McRae (16), and Ian Mahinmi (15) each contributed double-figure scores.
On the season Beal leads the team in scoring (27.7) and assists (6.5). Rui Hachimura posts 48.2% field goal percentage, Troy Brown Jr. tops rebounds (6.1) and steals (1.4) while Davis Bertans tops the blocks (0.6) category.
Washington got several injured players back recently with Bertans playing in the last two matches while Beal and Thomas Bryant returned for the Jazz game.
Rookie Rui Hachimura (groin contusion) and Moritz Wagner (ankle) have missed 14 and 16 consecutive games respectively and won’t play Wednesday.
Chicago Bulls
The young Bulls still struggle to score for segments of games and that fact was highlighted in their recent loss to the Celtics when they scored a mere 14 points but allowed 28 in the first. They won every other quarter but the damage was already done.
Zach LaVine led scoring with 30 points and was joined by Thaddeus Young (17), Tomas Satoransky (12) and Daniel Gafford (10) as the other double-figure contributors.
On the season LaVine tops scoring (24.5), Tomas Satoransky – assists (5.3) and Kris Dunn – steals ( 2.0). Wendell Carter Jr. tops rebounding (9.9), field goal percent (53.7%) and blocks (0.9) categories.
Chicago has six different players in various stages of healing. Lauri Markkanen and Thomas Satoransky both have ankle woes but are expected to play.
Adam Mokoko missed the last five games due to swelling around his right eyelid and is questionable. Otto Porter (left foot fracture) is expected out until mid-February.
Wendell Carter Jr. suffered a high right ankle sprain which will force him to miss between four to six weeks. Max Strus (torn ACL) is out for the season.
NBA Betting Trends:
- The teams are 5-5 ATS in their last 10
- The Bulls are 8-2 in last 10 head to head
- Over Under is 6-4 in team’s last 10 head to head matchup
Free Washington Wizards vs. Chicago Bulls NBA Prediction:
Of the two clubs, the Bulls have a far superior defensive system and if they can avoid those periods of offensive stagnation they should capture the victory.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Wizards plus points
That said, the Wizards are just as likely to go on a big offensive run and will keep the game close.
