Wednesday, April 6th, finds the Washington Wizards facing Southeast Division rivals the Atlanta Hawks for the fourth and final time this season.

Atlanta Hawks
For the second time this season, the Toronto Raptors ended an Atlanta Hawks win streak. This time the run was shorter (five games versus seven) but had far-reaching effects.
The combination of Toronto winning and Cleveland losing cemented the Raptors’ playoff berth although their seed is still to be determined. Since the Bulls also lost it pushed the Raptors up to the fifth seed again.
For the Hawks, the loss confirmed they will have to participate in the play-in tournament but their seed is yet to be determined. The current placement of the four play-in teams from seventh to 10th is the Cavaliers, Nets, Hawks, and Hornets.
Cleveland has only two games remaining while the Hawks (Wizards, Nets, Hawks), Nets (Knicks, Cavaliers, Pacers), and Hornets (Magic, Bulls, Wizards) each have three games left.
Atlanta trails the Cavs by 1.5 games have an identical record to the Nets but lost that tiebreak and are up a game on the Hornets who they own the tiebreak against.
Trae Young led the way in Toronto registering a double-double of 26 points and 15 assists as Clint Capela also reached the double-double benchmark with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Kevin Huerter (21), and Bogdan Bogdanovic (19) scored in double-digits while De’Andre Hunter scored 20 points and was the Hawks’ best defender on Pascal Siakam who still put up 31 points and 13 rebounds with six assists.
Danilo Gallinari (knee) is questionable for Wednesday. John Collins (plantar fasciitis) is out indefinitely.
