Atlanta Hawks
Trae Young sat out Wednesday watching his teammates shock the Clippers winning the match. The next night he learned he’ll make his first All-Star appearance as a starter.
Friday, he looked to make it three great days in a row as he returned to where he played his high school and NCAA ball in Oklahoma.
It wasn’t a great homecoming however as the Thunder spanked the Hawks 140-111 and won every quarter. OKC scored 66 points in the first half and 74 points in the second half.
Young personally had a solid game with a double-double of 26 points and 16 assists and John Collins led the scoring with 28 points.
Rookie Cam Reddish (20) completed the trio of 20 point scorers while De’Andre Hunter (10) was the only other double-figure contributors.
Young leads the team in points (29.1) and assists (8.8) while Alex Len is best in rebounding (5.8), and blocks (0.8). Jabari Parker tops field goal percentage (50.4%) and DeAndre’ Bembry leads the steals (1.3) category.

Free Washington Wizards vs. Atlanta Hawks NBA Prediction:
The insanity of the line being only one point but the over/under being 241.5 points speaks to the offensive identity of these two clubs. And yet, the only reason the score likely won’t reach ridiculous levels is due to all the injuries on both sides.
