Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets are coming off a loss against Memphis, losing 104-96. They really struggled to score in this game and that may have to do with their long list on injuries. Most notably, Denver is missing Jamal Murray and Paul Millsap. Mason Plumlee is also out with a foot injury. These three guys make up an average of 36.9 of their points per game. This is about 34% of their points being scored every night.
It is important to point out that Nikola Jokic is healthy, which is important because he is the leading scorer. He is averaging 19.8 points per game, but is also averaging 10.1 rebounds per game. He is going to be the focus in this game, but with Gobert locking down the post, it is going to be tougher than usual.
Similar to Utah, the Nuggets are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. They allow 106 points per game. Their opponents shoot an average 45.6%, but they have the 2nd best three-point defense, allowing 33.6%.
Even missing some guys, I look for the Nuggets to do a solid job of locking down this Utah team on no rest.
