Toronto played only one good quarter in their recent loss against Houston. They are looking to bounce back on thee road.

New Orleans has lots of offensive talent.   They can score against anybody and the Raptors are going to have to put together a better defensive effort to get a win.

Losing to Houston and James Harden is not terrible. The way they did with their bench giving them absolutely nothing is the more concerning aspect of the game.

So is the up and down play of Kyle Lowry this season. There is no doubting his toughness and leadership but his shooting has been inconsistent all season long. They are missing Fred VanVleet more than most realize.

Toronto is still trying to figure out how to get the most from Marc Gasol. It seems like the best move is to start him but that is the same for Serge Ibaka too.

Toronto has lost back to back games. They have lost three in a row only once this season.

New Orleans Pelicans

The Pels won three in a row before dropping their last game at home against Utah. They are third in the league in scoring with Anthony Davis maintaining a high level of production even though there is so much swirling around him and the team right now.

It is hard not to love what Julius Randle is giving this team right now. Since the All-Star break he has been under 20 points just once and he has been able to grab a rebound and lead the break more than most realize.

I have never been a fan of Elfrid Payton but he has been good for New Orleans this season. He is not great but having him back gives them more depth in the backcourt. He probably draws Lowry and if he can bottle them up that will be big for this one.
