The annual rodeo trip hasn’t started off exactly with a bang as San Antonio were 1-5 through the first six games of the trip. They entered the break on a winning note defeating the Thunder in their last match.

In the win, LaMarcus Aldridge delivered a vintage performance posting a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Dejounte Murray was also hot registering 25 points and nine rebounds.

DeMar DeRozan missed the last two games entering the break due to back spasms but is expected to suit up on Friday versus the Jazz. The shooting guard is an iron man who through 10.5 seasons has only missed more than five games in a season twice and more than eight once.

A five-game losing streak was broken via a controversial uncalled goaltending foul that seemingly switched the Jazz luck as they strung together four wins versus the Blazers, Rockets, Mavericks, and Heat to enter the break.
Their final match featured a second-half comeback victory over the Miami Heat who continues to struggle on the road. The Heat took an early five point lead into the half but a 32-22 and 37-27 third and fourth frame led to an easy Jazz win.
In the victory, Rudy Gobert feasted with 16 points and a 20 rebound double-double. His fellow All-Star teammate, Donovan Mitchell also put up big numbers with 26 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Bojan Bogdanovic (22) and Jordan Clarkson (21) were the other double-figure contributors.
On the season, Donovan Mitchell is the team leader in scoring (24.3 points) and steals (1.1). Rudy Gobert tops the rebounding (14.6), field goal percent (68.9) and block (1.9) categories. Joe Ingles rounds out the group with 5.2 assists per game.
Mike Conley is dealing with an illness that may hold him out of the match on Friday versus the Spurs. Ed Davis missed the past four games with a sprained ankle and is also listed as questionable for Friday.
