Sunday, November 24 the Sacramento Kings play the Washington Wizards for the first time in the 2019-20 season.
Last season, the squads played on two occasions with the teams splitting the games. The Kings hold the all-time record having bested the Wizards in 105 of their 198 matches.

The Kings were on a roll having strung together six wins in eight contests. Unfortunately, they got hammered in Brooklyn losing a contest theoretically they should have won given the Nets were shorthanded missing their superstar Kyrie Irving.

Granted playing without Bogdan Bogdanovic (out with a hamstring injury) was a hit to the Kings. Bogdanovic had stepped up for the team filling in for De’Aaron Fox who is out dealing with a high ankle sprain and isn’t expected back until the middle of next month.
In the loss, Harrison Barnes led the way for the Kings scoring 18 points with five rebounds. Barnes was joined by a quartet of players who also registered double-figure scoring including Buddy Hield (16), Justin James (14), Nemanja Bjelica (13) and Richaun Holmes (12).
Cory Joseph who functions as the backup point guard is hampered by a sore heel but is expected to gut it out and play in both games this weekend.
Trevor Ariza is questionable for the match versus the Wizards due to a sore groin as is Caleb Swanigan who has missed the last four games with an ankle injury. Bogdanovic remains doubtful for the game while Fox and Bagley are definitely out.
Washington Wizards
Continuing their trend of shooting lights out the Wizards won again this time dispensing of the Charlotte Hornets and incredibly as it may seem they currently rank just outside a playoff berth in ninth place in the East.

Washington has won three games in their last four outings including back to back victories over the Spurs and Hornets.
In the win versus the Hornets, Bradley Beal led the way again with 30 points and 12 assists in his double-double. Tomas Bryant also netted a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Davis Bertans (20), Rui Hachimura (15), Jordan McRae (13) and Ish Smith (10) were the other double-figure contributors.
Troy Brown Jr. is questionable to play as he battles illness. Ian Mahinmi remains out until mid-December with a strained right Achilles tendon and John Wall isn’t expected to return this season as he rehabs a ruptured Achilles tendon.
