Orlando benefitted from an easy segment of opponents, but with the streak over, they are struggling to beat the upper echelon. With just 10 games remaining, they need to get a grasp on their identity and build momentum or risk an early exit from the play-in tournament.
And while Orlando enters this game desperate to end the losing streak, there is something to be said about a club that has nothing to lose. It allows the players to perform without feeling any pressure.
Moreover, the recent losing by Orlando wasn’t just “we had a few bad outings”, they seem to have hit a real crisis offensively and still need to incorporate Franz Wagner back into the lineup and gain chemistry heading into the postseason.
